After a cancelled flight we ate here. We would have loved to go downtown but it seemed too far. There is a shuttle to the mall but we didn't know about it until the last shuttle left. So we went to the restaurant bar. It was not a disappointment. We got the wings and homemade chips and it was EXCELLENT!! Glad we made the choice to stay nearby!

Servers are friendly and attentive right off the bat. It's a great place during the day to grab lunch, and an even better place to have drinks before you go out on the town. There are several big tables that are perfect for groups of 8 or more and comfortable couches and stools. Best thing on the menu: any of the burgers! And the onion rings are delicious!

Anna and Marisol are some of the best bartenders I've ever encountered, great drinks, great atmosphere, amazing people!

The black bean burger with sweet potato fries was delicious. Other entrees ordered by the group were pronounced good. But. We waited about an hour to receive our food. So go and enjoy the food when you are not in a hurry.

We had the 3 cheese chicken quesadilla and the bacon cheeseburger with fries, The bill including two coronas and a 20% tip was $50. The service from Ramiro who was working the bar and serving us food was excellent. We both commented about what a hard worker he was! An enjoyable experience!

Really enjoy the food selection, the value and quality was decent. Lots TV's to watch the games. The ceviche was very good.

The prices are menu are good but on a busy night, expect slower service. I asked for a burger - no fries. Fries came anyway.

Definitely good for a quick meal in the evening. The beer prices were high, but they did have a good happy hour special from 5-7.

had dinner a few times at the restaurant. The food was excellent as well as the service. I would recommend

The food was just average at least. Not what it should be for the price. The menu at the bar is the same for the lunch in the restaurant. I expected a different menu.

As I did not have transportation I had a hamburger everyday . It was very delicious every time and I enjoyed it each time.

Excellent food and service! I wanted to call out the entire staff for being so friendly and hospitable during my stay, especially Alex Joseph. Thank you to Alex and the awesome staff for you extraordinary service above and beyond.

Been here last night for couple of beers and and burger before calling it a night. The bar looks nice, cosy, nice atmosphere. Prices are quite OK and the portions and food just great. I had a Miami style burger. One of the tastiest burgers I had. The servers are also nice. If you go there, make sure you interact with Alex, he's a nice friendly profesional guy. I recommend the place with all my heart.

I sat at one of the tables expecting a bartender (who did notice me) or a server approach me with the menu. Did not happen. I went to the bar and asked for the menu. Ordered Buffalo Chicken Tenders from the Happy Hour menu. What was brought instead, were just plain fried chicken tenders, nothing buffalo about them. Bartender took them back to the kitchen. Another portion was brought back. Not much "buffalo" this time either, just a little bit spicy. Menu also described Blue Cheese chips.. It came out with french fries and honey mustard sauce both times. If they can't produce what is written on the menu, maybe they should just stick to plain chicken tenders and describe them as such..

Doubleshot Tapas and Burger Bar is a great local restaurant, great food, great people and an overall great experience whether for a relaxing lunch or a family occasion. The food is always excellent and the daily changing soup is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

Nice choice of tapas and burgers. Ate there twice. Great toppings, sides and sauces. Staff were very friendly and make recommendations for food, drinks and sightseeing - lovely.

After a cancelled flight we were "forced" to stay here over night. We arrived about 10:30 pm and were glad the bar/restaurant was still serving food. The waiter Alex was very nice and engaged us in polite conversation. He also kept the beers flowing. At $6 a pop I can see why. He also made us aware that the vouchers from the airline wouldn't cover alcohol. We knew that. The food took at least 30mins to arrive and I attributed this to quite a number of influx at once at a late hour. The presentation was fabulous. However, the flavor was bland. My chicken quesadilla lacked sufficient amount of chicken. The guacamole was bland.

Depending on the time of day it may take a while for your food to arrive. The drinks were always good and they had a good selection of beers on tap.

We stayed one night in early February and dined here at the lobby bar. The tostones nachos with beef were delicious and a large portion. Also good were the mahi tacos. Our server Alex was very friendly and provided great service. Prices for the food and drinks seemed a little high.

Stayed in the Double Tree for a night pre cruise, didn't have a vehicle so decided to eat at the Doubleshot in the hotel. For dinner there were 3 tables occupied (us and 2 others) It took over 45 minutes to get our food, and my water glass sat empty half the time we were in there. One server kept looking at us, and ignored us - the other kept walking over to the front desk area, When the food came out, it was good for the price, however service was not that great. 15 percent gratuity added to the check automatically. The next morning we ate breakfast here as well. Breakfast was good, and served much faster.

Pleasant food and friendly staff and convenient when staying at the hotel as there are no other restaurants in the area within walking distance.

We love all the restaurants in the Doubletree Miami Airport Hotel. This is a great place in the afternoon to have quick bites & drinks. The burgers are delicious as well as the ceviche. Also, Fady & his staff are extremely polite & helpful. We'll return and stay at the Doubletree Hilton because of Fady and his team.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Our waitress Gloria is a gem, very gracious and attentive, as were several others.

Just like the hotel staff, the bar staff needs training. The waitress that we had wasn't very attentive. We had to get up and go get her when we wanted to pay and get refills. It wasn't busy so I am not sure what was going on. The food is pretty good. Can't complain about that. Worth the money.

Fast Service, great burgers. The bserver was very friendly. Good variety for burgers. Nice quiet atmosphere for a hotel bar.

Trendy, lots of seating for a bar area. Love the couches and TV's. We watched the Academy Awards while we dined. Ceviche is the BEST I've had anywhere! We asked if they could make an Espresso Martini even though it wasn't on the menu. They made the best one I've had to date! Burgers, I eat one every TWO YEARS or so...but these were AMAZING!! You can add a million things to them to "build a burger" like eggs, avocado, mushrooms, etc. but the taste was amazing. Rioja Grille next door is equally as amazing with a more upscale atmosphere.
Could've been better.
We needed to get a quick bite for lunch. This hotel lobby bar and grill wasn't very busy. We ordered our sodas, a chicken Cesar wrap ($9) and mahi tacos ($12). We waited close to an hour. I had seen food runners earlier but our server had to go back to the kitchen and check on our order herself. This is a large hotel and she took quite a while. Other patrons were leaving. She returned with our order and, of course, the mahi in my tacos was cold. The mahi in each of the 3 tacos consisted of one small piece of fish about the size of a roll of lifesavers. The bartender said the wait was bc of the chicken Cesar wrap. What? What could be easier than a chicken Cesar wrap? Our server was also the bartender and was handling the bar and the tables. She had NO help and as more people sat down she became overwhelmed. I felt bad for her. Even though the service as a whole was average at best it was mainly bc of the kitchen. Our server was very nice and apologetic. I sought out the hotel manager and complained on behalf of our server. The wrap was fine but $12 for three tiny pieces of fish is theft especially since the meal was cold. The shame is that the tacos did have a nice taste and the experience could've been better. My quick bite turned into an hour ordeal.
