It's Chinese Dim Sum done well. The tables are small, but we managed. The setting felt more Burger King than Chinese. The food and service is what makes this place perfect. My daughter and I chose to walk back to our hotel because we were so full of the yummy dumplings and beef onion roll.

Very good modern take on dim sum. Everything we had was tasty. It seems like a very popular place, so be ready to wait to be seated.

Smart business model. Receptionist takes name and cell phone number. Customer monitors advancing place in line, called when table is ready. At 11:15 on a Sunday morning we had a 40 minute wait. We were able to utilize the time instead of sitting around. Waiter advised between three and five least crowded. In shake down phase, not full menu. Waiters circulate taking orders, serving, clearing, cleaning. Down time minimized instead of having an assigned waiter. Diners can ask any of the fully engaged staff for help. Short wait for food; diners can order starters and add as they go along. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Vegetarian dishes available. Utilitarian decor, noisy: loud music and conversation, bustle, and hard surfaces, the level registered 70 and 80 dB. Manager explained this is the newest of the Chinese owners two or three similar restaurants. The menu is street food from around China, the recipes devised by his wife. We enjoyed green onion pancakes @ 2.95, veggie pot stickers # 4.75, chicken pot stickers @ 4.75, braised tofu @ 3.75, soup dumplings @ 11.25. We'll be back

The new Dough Zone in the International District offers great pork/shrimp soup dumplings--better than Din Tai Fung's by a lot! However, the chicken soup dumplings are not good at all, at least the night we went. They tasted like chicken fat and nothing else. Disappointing. The green onion pancakes could use a bit more green onion flavor but were nice and flaky. Broccoli with oyster sauce is not what you would usually get at a Chinese restaurant--it's steamed broccoli served with a small saucer of oyster sauce for dipping. Service was prompt.

My sons brought me here because they wanted me to eat at their favorite dim sum restaurant. We ordered waaay too many things, so that it was difficult to distinguish the excellent from the good by the time we finished. I definitely filled up. It was very good. I would like to return on a future trip.

Dough Zone satisfies the dumpling craving with reasonable prices and good choices. The pan fried chive dumplings are particularly good. The xiao lom bao also are good, but with less umami and soup than other places. The atmosphere is clean and trendy. The electronic sign in works very well. Altogether a satisfying experience.

Staff was really nice. Very small portions or rather smaller than I am used to. Loved the Dan Noodles (sp?). The other items I could not eat.

This is a chain, but don’t let that stop you. The noodle selection feeds one person for $5.50, but order two and share. The kale salad was quite a surprise, really tasty. The dumplings come 6 to a serving, we ordered several and shared. Service and food was fast, but make a reservation to save time. Parking next door, but Sunday is free on the street.. enjoy. Hope this helps.

Ordering is easy - they give you a menu and then paper ordering sheet to circle your choices (don't worry about pronunciation). But be ready with your chopsticks - no forks offered up here (though I imagine you could ask for one). Service was really fast - we ordered a variety of foods to share for the table, and each dish was brought out one or two at a time as it was cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food. The Q-Bao really are a must try!

The food here is really good and the service is fast. Be sure to put yourself on the waiting list prior to arrival as there is always a wait. Can't wait to go back!!!

Xiaolongbao is good here although some of my friends swear by Ding Tai Feng's. This branch of Dough Zone does not have the complete menu like its other branches in Bellevue. They skip all the "more Chinese" items probably thinking the western customers do not appreciate them. Very foolish, then the Chinese won't come. I was here yesterday afternoon and I hardly saw any Chinese although this restaurant is in Chinatown next to Uwajimaya. I do not appreciate their rules: I was no allowed to go in and sit down at a table because I was told to wait for my two other people to arrive before they could be seated. I told the waitress they were three minutes away parking the car. The restaurant was not filled. I can see when the restaurant is busy and filled then you should not take up an empty table while waiting. The waitress came again and said I could go in with the manager's approval but I need to order food immediately so I was not taking up and wasting their space. What kind of restaurant they think they are? Even the fancy restaurants will not say that to their customers. I will rethink if I want to go there again. All said, the food is ok, not bad.

We’ve been there three times it being better than other options around. A few dishes like the pig ear approach good china quality. Many of the noodles have been adapted to American taste for sweets and portion size Overall it’s good. Don’t give it a pass Great service system and clean design. Just got to save four stars for surprises and five stars for excellence

Located in the International District. We (party of 3) went for lunch and ordered Pork Bao, Pork W/crab Bao, Pork and Shrimp Pot Stickers (Pan Fried) and Green Onion Pancakes. Each Bao and the Pot Stickers order contained 6. Total bill was $27.23. My favorite was the Pot Stickers.

Three of us came for lunch. We had five or six dishes between us and everything was delicious - especially the beef noodles, the sticky pickled cucumber, the dumplings. Everything was delicious! Service was brisk but professional. I would happily go very regularly!!! Nom nom nom!

We came on the busiest day of the year and the gal attending to us went above and beyond to make up for the long wait times. She was wonderful. The food itself was meh. I’ve had much better dumplings

This new restaurant is on the Seattle Eater list, so it is getting a lot of visitors. It's too bad because they still need to work out the kinks. I only tried a couple of their dumplings- pork and shrimp, and chicken- the price was very reasonable but the dumplings were just OK. I will give them some more time and then come back and try some different dishes. Service is good for such a new establishment.

Go to Din Tai Fung or Vancouver BC. The most greasy gyoza I have had. The food is inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Not recommended.

Dumplings are relatively small. Plenty of empty room in the steamer.. Poor noodle soup. Noodles and stock is of a favor that resemble instant ramen in package.

A group of four of us came on a Sunday night a little after 6 PM, we put our name on a list on a tablet up front, no hostess was present. We were 10th on line but wait time was a reasonable 15-20 minutes. We were sat with only a single menu and the dim sum checklist. Four glasses of water were promptly brought to the table. We ordered pork buns, soup dumplings, beef pancake, beef cake, zha jian mian noodles and some sort of egg. We all enjoyed the soup dumplings and pork buns, delicious, we got a second order of both. The beef cake was just as good in my opinion while I didn’t like the beef pancake roll too much, found it to be dry. I also really like the sauce for the noodles and dipped my buns and dumping in it but he noodles were only okay. The egg was only enjoyed by one at our table. Service was very good. Attentive wait staff and food was brought out fairly quickly. Overall a delicious meal made better by good company. I would eat here again.

I was super excited to try this place, I have eaten my fair share of dumplings. This place was mediocre at best. Everything tastes the same. Plus the unpersonalized service leaves a lot wanting. I won’t go back.

If you like dumplings and similar items, it offers excellent quality, good service, and very good value for the area. Four of us went here for dinner and the total bill including drinks and lots of food came to just over $100. For Seattle this is an exceptional value. They get very busy. You can use a text-message based system to get yourself on the waiting list before you arrive. This is highly recommended. If you do a little advance planning you can save yourself a lot of time. Check their website for details. Otherwise they have a tablet set up where you add yourself to the waiting list when you arrive.

Family had never tried Dim Sum and we just got into town and it was close to our hotel. Best. Decision. Ever. Service is friendly and fast, there was a wait but it was well worth it. We tried several dishes and were blown away by the unique and delicious flavors. Prices are extremely reasonable. Family of four ate to our hearts content for $65. Favorites were the Q Bao dumplings and the beef soup dumplings. Potstickers and the Dan Dan noodles. Make this a must.

No matter what you order, it's all good. We went with friends who were not familiar with Chinese food and they were impressed. Even though the restaurant was crowded, the wait staff was pleasant and efficient.

We ordered many kinds of noodles and dumplings and loved all of them. We did not have a reservation, but had a 25 minute wait on a Friday night. If you like spicy, have them add it. You simply mark your order and they deliver it in "flights". Whole group favorite!

Overall a decent place to eat, although it didn’t really feel like anything special or unique. We ordered the Salad with sesame dressing (pretty good), the Pork Bao buns (great), Beef Pancake roll (good), and Oolong tea. Nothing was bad or poor. Service was fairly quick, the table next to us joked that they had to wait longer to be seated than to eat. Another reviewer commented that it felt like almost like a chain restaurant, and I have to agree. With all the great options in the city, this isn’t a top choice but a decent meal if you need the convenience. Also, add your name to the list on your way there.

Ordered House Special Beef Rolls. Disgusting, dry, and funky smell. Do not waste your time, at least on any house specials.

It was close to our hotel and we love dumplings so why not try it? We ordered dumplings, potstickers, and Dimsum. I really liked the Simsum, but the rest of the meal, I'd say was average.

The first time I had it I thought everything is amazing. The second time, not so much. Feel like the redmond/bellevue location is superior. Still, it deserves 5 stars.

There was a line waiting to get in. Not a fan of the process. Get seated, get a menu and a paper menu and pen to fill out your order. They give you your drink then eventually get back to the table to get your paperslip. Them they brought out our order one dish at a time with about 5 minutes in between each one. So one person got their noodles and you wait for the next person to get theirs. Then the rest ones randomly. Not a fan. But, food was pretty good . Not worth a wait tho

Great dumplings-especially the shrimp & pork. Also, I’ve never had a Bao bun and really enjoyed the Q-bao (pan fried pork buns). While there was no specific waiter, service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. There was quite a long wait (people eating before going to the mariners game) but they use a pretty cool reservation system that allows you to check your position on the waitlist from your phone.

Nice location in Chinatown. Order from the paper ticket and you can add as you go along like dim sum. I had the spicy barbecued bao sandwich and it was fantastic. I also had some soup dumplings which were tasty too. This was perfect for lunch because I didn’t want anything too heavy. I’d go back for lunch or dinner. Attentive service. Indoor seating. Kid friendly. Average prices.

Been by many times and it is always packed. For pickup order, the wait is reasonable and quick. For in-person dining, lots of servers on hand to bring ordered dishes over quickly. Every item delicious and fairly priced. Recommend, but plan ahead for crowds.

Wanted to get Dim Sum while passing Chinatown and found this place. There was a small line but we signed up and got a text when table was ready. Meanwhile I checked the menu online so when we got the table and a menu to fill out I was ready. So we got our drinks fast and food followed fairly fast. We got assorted dumplings and some kind of pancakes. Everything was really tasty. Speedy lunch with good food. Only thing I missed was a glass of white wine.

This Dough Zone is located in a sparking new, mixed-use residential/retail building at the edge of ChinaTown. And while the setting is a little weird and non-descript, the food is the star. No, wait, a superstar. OK, a MEGAstar. From soup dumplings to bao to gyoza, from noodles to pancakes, everything was phenomenal. And so incredibly cheap! I would eat here every week if I lived or worked nearby. Wow!

Amazing! We found this place by chance and thank goodness we did! The food was amazing and service was great! We are here twice on our weekend trip! You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu!! But the green onion pancakes were the favorite !

After a long day with two young kids we wanted a simple and quick dinner. While we in and around China town we find this place and gave it a shot. We were eating early but by the time we got settled in, ordered and ate, the place was packed and the take out business was brisk. The order process was similar to take out where you write down next to the item and hand it to the server. Good variety of choice from dumplings to noodles. We ordered several items to share which with way to gone. Food arrived quickly and quite good.

Delicious; great price. Went on a weekend evening so was way too crowded. Chicken soup dumplings were small and very tasty!

The dough zone has an amazing menu with some great vegetarian options as well. There is usually a long wait, especially at regular eating times. You can book online or go on the waitlist at the door. They are very good at keeping the list up. The sweet and sour cucumbers were spiraled and yummy, the chive dumplings, braised tofu, fried dumplings etc... all were really good. We had a table of 6 adults and ordered 6 dishes it was just enough but we probably could have eaten more. It is child-friendly but the crowded times make it tough for children with the noise levels.

This is a more affordable Din Tai Fung with the added bonus of less of a line to deal with; usually, it's a little bit more than half the price. Highly recommend, but the food is a little bit oily in my opinion.

What a great find. Food is delish and all kinds of choices. Good for take out too. Convenient and tasty!

Tried this restaurant for the first time for lunch on the weekend and loved it. Went back last night with friends before the Sounders game. Had no wait on the weekend, but definitely before the game. We loved each dish - I was especially drawn to the sweet and sour cucumbers, the Kale salad, and Dan Dan noodles. The soup dumplings were ordered by a few and every last one devoured. We will all be returning.....

Oh my gosh—those dumplings are SO good. Great restaurant to stop in before a game or concert. First time having dim sum without the food carts coming by. You pre-order by just checking boxes. Great idea. Excellent service. Delicious food. Will be back.

Our family loves Dough Zone Issaquah and Bellevue so we were excited to see them open in the International District. Same great menu and prices! You have to try the soup dumplings. Highly recommend!

My son and his wife took us our first night in Seattle and it was a fantastic experience !! It was so delicious we kept eating and eating. The boiled dumplings in chili oil were my husband’s favorite. Definitely my best find on this trip. Go today if you read this. You will not regret it

Popped in here to meet some friends, who in fact got confused and ended up in an entirely different branch of the Dough Zone, but that's another story. I had green onion pancakes, some shrimp pot stickers and some steamed prawn wontons. Fast service, perfectly cooked, tasty food at a reasonable price.

We had a very nice dinner here. There were 4 of us and we ordered a variety of dim sum. It was all really good.

Ah the food was so good. They had different of dumpling. Steam one, fried one. Very well cooked. The food was delicious. The people friendly. Very clean and fast service

Came here with local family who enjoy this place frequently. Fast service, hot food when it arrives and not expensive. They have a texting reservation system that puts you in line and notifies when your table is ready which is convenient.

Mediocre food at a steep price. The baozi, dumplings, and food here are mostly catered towards white folks—Asian diners who are looking to be served dumplings that are similar to what they have growing up will be disappointed. Otherwise, clean space and accessible location near Seattle’s Chinatown.

We ordered a variety of different things and all of it was good. We of course have our favorites but overall everything was cook well and had their own unique flavors. Would for sure order from these guys again. Give them a try and their food carries well for take out.

This is near the International train stop and easy to get to. The chicken Xiao Long Boa was amazing and I wish I had regular access to those babies. The Dan Dan Noodles were simple, spicy, and delicious. The steamed veggie potstickers were so good with malt vinegar. I would definitely recommend this place.

We tried a variety of different dishes when we went to dough zone some of them were hits others misses. Definitely try the pork noodles, the spicy beef flat bread wrap, and the chicken dumplings. They have excellent sake too! Their signature pork bao buns were nothing to write home about. WAY too much bun and not enough filling (Which wasn’t your usual barbecued pork but a minced pork meatball) Disappointing. Even worse were the beef dim sum which tasted like old ground, beef I’ll never be ordering them again. The soup dim sum I would rate as just average. 3-4* because of price, service, location, and the redeeming food we tried.

The service is quick and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

This was a great place to experience dumplings in Seattle's International District. It's super popular and there was a wait, but the food came out fast and the portions were generous. If you enjoy only vegetarian eating, they can accommodate you as well.

BYO ginger. I am crushed to discover Dough Zone has replaced shredded ginger with something that has no resemblance to ginger. I loved the shredded ginger on my Xiao Long Bao. My complaint to the owner generated this reply- " due to the fact that most of our customers find shredded ginger to be too strong, we decide to change the dip to minced ginger with vinegar."

This was recommended by a Seattle resident and it didn't disappoint. Conveniently located across from the lnternational District light rail station and near the Wing Luke Museum and Uwajimaya (Asian supermarket). I had scallion pancakes (nice and crispy) and beef pancake rolls which were flavorful but not spicy or hot. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

We ordered a variety of dishes. The Dan Dan noodles were too spicy for me, but my tolerance for spicy food is extremely low. We loved the other dumplings we irdered. Picky eater teen son even enjoyed some.

My wife and I decided to make this a destination on a Saturday mid morning. There was a wait, it wasn’t long. The food was worth it. Everything we ordered was tasty and filling. I would recommend this place over DTF for the shorter wait and better prices as the fare is similar.

Been here twice now and I don't understand the hype. Some of the dumplings and potstickers were ok (our favorite was the vegetable dumplings) but other items were just unforgivable - some of the dishes like the seaweed taste like pre-packaged food, and one of the noodle dishes came with ramen noodles (it wasn't a ramen dish that we ordered!). Nothing was really appetizing. Din Tai Fung in Seattle isn't great but its better than this (for just a fraction more cost)

We just arrived to Seattle and it this is our first time in the city. Starving we found this on open table. Long line and The wait was long, however, worth it! When we finally sat down and explained the process (you’re giving a menu with a slip and pencil), ask a couple people next to us what they had; server took the slip and BAM food was was fast and superb. We tried a LOT of stuff because everything looked and smelled amazing. Not bad on price. Family of four that practically ordered half the menu and still under $100. Not bad. Will come again if ever in Seattle.

We had the soup dumplings XIAO LONG BAO , they were soo good. Liked the cucumber snake. We enjoyed everything we had ordered. Would go back again. The service was very good and staff was friendly.

This "dumpling" house has received rave reviews from many people, and we just don't get it. The food is average. Now if average is what you like, then this is the place. It's seeming competitor in the "dumpling" craze (Din Tai Fun) is far more inventive and the food consistently above average. The service is really average, verging on laughably amateur. The server, while very polite and nice, seemed to care less about the customer and more in the side work required. The server also failed to mention that a particular dish took a great deal of time to prepare. Hordes are known to swamp this restaurant, but for the life of me I don't understand why.

Hunger hit us on our way home and we decided to stop and eat. We had only eaten here once just after it opened. There were people waiting to get a table so we decided to eat at a counter, We ordered Q-bao, pork and shrimp pot stickers, zucchini shrimp dumplings, zhajiang noodle, and pork wonton w/chicken soup. The Q-bao, zhajiang noodle, and pork and shrimp pot stickers were good and we enjoyed them. The two dishes we thought were poor were the zucchini shrimp dumplings which lacked flavor and the chicken soup w/ pork wonton. The chicken soup was very thin and lacked body. The dumplings and the pork wonton also could have used more filling. Like I said, some of the dishes we had were good, but I don't know if it's enough to bring me back

Took the family after some sightseeing and the place was littered with soccer fans, so we did have to wait about 25 min on a Sunday night. But it was worth it! We shared 4 plates of dumplings, and each was better than the next. Even tried the fruit seaweed, not very fruity, but way more flavorful than expected. Kids had cold tea drinks and loved them. The efficiency of the place was fantastic. We were in, stuffed our bellys, and out, in less than 30 min. Get the chicken Soup Dumplings! Despite it being a chain, the taste felt homemade. They need to expand to Michigan!

Tried a variety of dumplings and was impressed by every single one. Dumplings came out fast and hot. Service was great but the food was even better.

This place was a great find. Suggested by hotel staff. They prefer it over another one nearby. BUT, the food was fantastic. The service was super attentive. It is a dumpling house. but they sure are great. Went there twice and both times asked waiter for their favorite and each time they blurted out something immediately and it was delicious.

This place came highly recommended..... Well I would have rather just had dim sum at my normal Chinese restaurant in China Town honestly speaking. The food was good hot and fresh. I just cant gove it a four or five star rating because there was nothing to make me come back again. The food and prices were just ok...

Large selection of fried, steamed and boiled dim sum. The restaurant also serves a few soup and salad selections. Good place to eat if your craving good tasting dim sum that is also reasonably priced.

You will not find a salad here. Just baskets and baskets of dumplings. Loved the soup ones, vegetable was just ok. Great spot near the train station.

We ordered a bunch of things in-spite of long wait line. But the crew were so polite. We ordered Bao’s, pot stickers, dumplings, salad, noodles - everything was so soulful and unpretentious. Prices are great. Will visit again !

The food at this place is amazing. Service is fast and friendly. I will eat here many more times for sure

I had the pickled green beans for an appetizer and pan fried dumplings as an entree. My order came out very quickly and was very delicious!

Just arrived in Seattle and waiting for the Amtrak train to Vancouver. This is right by the station and I must say the service and food is absolutely outstanding!!!

Food truck. Cookie dough was the main ingredient . From there you could add ice cream of your choice. We chose cookie dough with chocolate chips! Large portions!! Very sweet but excellent.

Stopped here for a quick lunch while in the area, and returned for dinner another day because the food was so good. Good selection of dumplings, potstickers, and noodles. Located in the International District near the Chinatown gate, across from Union Station and the transit hub. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Asian-style dumplings (not sim sum). Very busy, expect to wait a while to get in. You will not be disappointed with the food.

Absolutely the best dumplings I have ever had. Actually had to order more they were that good. Definitely worth it!

Dough Zone is an eclectic dim sum restaurant with many unique items that you can’t get at the other dim sum places. They are very unique. Jimmy our server was great and helped us order. - Spicy beef shank- the fusion of flavors of Szechuan peppercorns they used danced on my tongue and the meat melted in my mouth - Onion scallion pancake - nice flaky layers - Chicken potstickers - almost like a soup dumpling with less broth and delicious filling - Pan fried ground beef cake - almost like a minced little meat pie. Crispy outer layer, soft inside - Beef noodle soup - nicely seasoned rich broth and a good portion of meat pieces. Ramen noodles were fresh, spongy and went well with the soup.

I love dim sum, and ate it regularly when living in the Bay Area. The dim sum at Dough Zone is adequate in a pinch, but just doesn’t measure up. I have yet to find great dim sum in Washington, but am happy to keep looking.

Get those dan dan noodles because they are the bomb! While visiting in Seattle I ate here twice and I’m back in my home state and still craving it! Delicious place, friendly staff, good prices.

Spent Labor Day weekend in downtown Seattle to attend a concert at SAFECO field. Before leaving town, we took the Light rail to Chinatown as I had never been. This restaurant was very close to the train station so this is why we chose it. The hostess had us enter info into a tablet as their were a lot of people waiting for tables. It was easy to do, we did however have to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. My girlfriend and I wanted to try several different things so we basically shared about five different entree’s. Beef dumplings, vegetable potstickers, noodles with sauce, wonton soup and pickled green beans. Our food arrived quickly, it was fresh, and delicious. I loved the green beans the best. Am not sure what they were pickled in but it was light, just a hint of spice and very GOOD. I enjoyed this restaurant very much

My first experience and it was awesome. Got lots of small plates to share. I won’t remember them all but the sweet and sour cucumber was so refreshing. Soup dumplings were good. Along with green onion bread. Had a small mango whipped cream crepe with was a good end. Will make this a more regular meal option

After doing a little research for best dumplings in Seattle, my search lead me to here at 10:50am on the last day of my trip. Although i wouldn’t normally consider dumplings for breakfast, I needed to fit this stop in before leaving Seattle, however, it turns out the rest of Seattle didn’t mind a dumpling breakfast. Doors open and 11am and nearly every table was full within 10 minutes. Service was very quick and these certainly ended up being some of the best dumplings I’ve had. Can’t go wrong with the following - long bao - q bao - chicken potstickers

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! This was our first time coming here, and we really enjoyed it! The customer service was fabulous, the food was very delicious and affordable, and the store was very authentic, clean, and spectacular! It is now on our “must-have food list”, and we will definitely check out their other locations! Thank you, Dough Zone, for the amazing experience! I highly recommend going to the Dough Zone restaurant (and trying their amazing pot stickers)!

After a gymnastics competition my 6 year old grandson requested dumplings for dinner. We found Dough Zone on our way from U of W campus and decided to give them a try. The selection was pretty good and the quality and taste were great. In addition their prices were very reasonable. Overall everyone was pleased with the selection and the service.

This place got really great ratings so we decided to try it. We were very disappointed! One hour wait for takeout. The quality was poor n pot stickers were tough. If I had not checked our order before we left, we would have been shorted by one dish! I do not recommend.

Top notch. We went with an old high school friend who strongly recommended this place. Wasnt sure to make of it. This checklist comes and you fill it out with a pen all that you like. Your drinks show and it's game on. The food starts to show up one dish at a time...with excellent servers and staff. Fantastic city vibe and food was spot on. Excellent experience in a great city.

Stopped in with family for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The place was busy and we waited about 15 minutes before we were seated. Once seated we were greeted immediately and got glasses of water. We had figured out our order before seated, so we filled out our order and the staff took it. We ordered Bao Buns, Cucumber Salad, Dan Dan Noodles, Chicken Veggie Wonton w/ Chili Sauce and 2 orders of pork soup dumplings. All of the food came to the table pretty quick. Everything tasted very fresh and all was delicious. The dumplings were hot and juicy.

Fast service, good food, especially the side dishes. The soup dumplings are why we went, but the potstickers were incredible! Gets pretty busy at lunch so be aware.

What a delightful twist on dim sum classics. Everything was so fresh, and the special vinegar available on every table brought out incredible flavors. We especially liked the chive pot-stickers. One drawback is that the rest room was outside the restaurant and required a code to enter.

Three of us shared Q-Bao, Pork & Shrimp and Steamed Vegetable dumplings. All were very tasty but I would say Din Tai Fung in University Village in University Village has better tasting dumplings especially the dumplings with broth in the middle. The Dough Zone version was a little on the bland side. Be prepared to wait for both these restaurants by Dough Zone diffidently is less waiting time

It was amazing!! We ordered the chicken potstickers, soup dumplings, bao buns, broccoli, and noodles and it really hit the spot. If you are looking for something close to Pikes Place that doesn’t close at 5pm this a a great place!

No wait for a table at 5:00 pm on a Monday, but a line to get one by 6:00, so go early! Tasty food and decent portions, perfect for sharing among friends and trying different and new things from the menu. A little pricey, but not outrageous. A modern twist on traditional Chinese food!

Great place to take care of your dumpling or your Sichuan peppercorn fix! The greens dressed in sesame dressing were a very pleasant surprise! Recommend for at least 2 or be prepared to take a doggy bag.

Good dim sum all around but feels a bit like a chain restaurant rather than an authentic Chinese restaurant. Would go back though

This place also hits the spot and never misses. Great flavors, great variety of dishes, quick services and love that there are multiple locations! Expect a little wait, but always worth it, so put your name on the list and grab a drink nearby! INSTAGRAM We knead dough(zone) to survive the winter!!! 🥟🌶️🐣🥩🌯🦀🐷🍞 📸 Chicken & Vegetable Wontons with Chili Sauce 📸 Spicy Beef Pancake Roll 📸 Pork & Crab Soup Dumplings 📸 Steamed Berkshire-Duroc Pork Buns @DoughZoneUSA Bringing traditional Chinese comfort food to a modern table. West Coast and more on the horizon. 📍Seattle, WA 🐟

We went expecting amazing and we found good food. Not sure about the hype. Place is busy though. Dumplings were good, but again would have loved to try something better

Everything we tried was amazing! The service was so fast and the food was hot and delicious. The chicken dumplings were the best!

Delicious menu options and reasonably priced. Option to dine in or order takeout. Conveniently located a few blocks from convention center.

In Chinatown excellent choice for a quick bite of dumplings, buns, xiao long bao , beef soup Taiwanese style. A few shops in town. Don’t miss it if you like this kind of food.

I usually go for Ramen but the place was closed - Went up the block and saw that a new place had just opened (this was a few months ago) I still go there perhaps once every two weeks. This is what I cheat on - I'm trying to eat vegan. Dandan noodle is just noodle with a bite. I also love the sweet and sour cucumber. Try the potstickers - vegetables or chicken (I cheat there remember?) I haven't tried alot of things on the menu. Come early or you'll find a long wait for a table. Worst are game days. Bon Apetit

A chain in seattle for chinese food. Extensive menu with noodles, dumplings, appetisers and sides. And also asian drinks like thai milk tea and bubble tea. Their spicy is not spicy

Good food and fast service. I ordered two types of steamed dumplings: chicken and then the shrimp/pork. Both tasted very good. You just check your order off on a little kidt and they make it up fresh.

This was my first trip to Seattle and I am so glad I chose to give the Dough Zone a try. All of the food was amazing, scrumptious and really delicious. Come with friends so you can share all the things and try all the things. We were a group of three and ordered 8 different things or so. The Dan Dan noodles were incredible..just the right amount of chew, sauciness and numbness from the Szechuan pepper. I still dream about these.

Had a great time at the Dough Zone with our group of 7. We had scallion pancakes, soup dumplings, vegetable pot stickers, cucumber salad and much more. All good, with a Tsing Tao!

This is a no frills dumpling house in several locations in the Seattle metro area. Yummy dumplings, pancakes, and soups. There is a location in the International District in Downtown Seattle.

The food was wonderful. We had the Spicy beef sandwich, crab and pork soup dumplings, and fried pork buns. The pork bun was good but we really really enjoyed the other two. The wait wasn’t too terrible (35min) since there was a big concert. This is worth the stop if you are in the international district.

Very good Xiao Long Bao, not quite on a par with Din Tai Fung - yet. But this House just opened; still serving limited menu while they figure things out. They have very good noodle dishes - we tried the DanDan Noodles. Excellent. Service was very friendly; waitstaff very helpful, while the kitchen was very busy figuring it all out. We will definitely return.

This may have been the best food we had in Seattle. We had soup dumplings, bao, pan-fried dumplings, wontons with chili sauce (just the right amount of heat), and dessert (banana naan bread). Everything - EVERYTHING - was great. (Although the wontons with chili sauce and the banana naan bread were the most memorable.) Very inexpensive, fast service, and delicious. I can't wait to go back.

We came in wanting steamed bbq pork buns not realizing that they didn’t offer them. Instead we ended up with regular steamed pork buns (a mini pork and green onion meatball in the steamed dough). Good, but when you had envisioned the bbq pork version, still a little disappointing. This was not their fault however. We also had a green onion pancake which reminded me of a cheese-less quesadilla with a mild pleasant flavor.

We heard about the good food in this place. We walked into this place after 12 pm on a Tuesday. As soon as we walked in we were seated. We waited for like 5 minutes. We ordered our food and within 10 minutes, we got our food. We enjoyed the dumplings and salad. Our experience was great at this place.

My best friend and I always pass by Dough zone at Chinatown and it always has a long line. We finally got lucky one day when we tried and there was no line, only to see people lining up again after 20 minutes. No wonder people’s willing to wait. The different kind of dimsum we ordered, noodles and buns were all sooooo great!!!!! I love the cucumber salad!!!! We tried the pigs ear...for some that may sound something you won’t want to see or eat but it was great!!! It was thinly sliced, square shaped yummy appetizer!!!! Will highly recommend Dough zone at Chinatown Seattle!!!!

We really enjoyed what we had here, it all tasted great even though it took us out of our Wisconsin comfort zone. The buns were amazing. Great location with Hing Hay Park right down the road.

The ladies room didn’t have soap. I approached the hostess to notify her since I wanted to wash my hands, and her response was that the Restaurant shares the public restroom with another building and do not maintain the restroom. Then I asked for hand sanitizer, but didn’t have it available. I was concerned of how the employees would wash their hands while cook and serve food patrons. Very concerning!

The soup dumplings are out of this world. Also try the “must have” steamed buns. Great tasting food at a very reasonable price.

Food was nothing special. Price for downtown was reasonable. Top ramen with some extra seasonings (Dan Noodles). Disappointed, but affordable for a quick eat.

Found this place by mistake on our first day in Seattle. It's super good. In my opinion, it's much better than Din Tai Fung in Las Vegas. Loved every dish we ordered. We had dumplings, noodle. The appetizer beef shank was very very delicious! Took a picture of the place and shared with friends.

Exceptional dining experience. The staff were helpful and attentive. The dishes were perfection. We ordered Dan Dan Noodles, scallion pancakes, shrimp dumplings and beers. Everything was terrific. A young vibe with lots of happy diners.

This is a solid place for you if you need a quick dumpling fix. The food is consistently solid. I give them 4 stars instead of 3 in part because of how often I frequent this location. It's in a great spot. However, I've had much better soup dumplings elsewhere, and the noodle soup wasn't that good. That having been said, I definitely recommend trying them. I'm always full after I eat here and the staff is mostly pleasant, so it's worth a try!

I love the easy menu and all the dishes are good. This is a very busy restaurant..there is always a wait. I have not waited more than 15 minutes except for take away. It was also a good option for my Vega friend.

Good food and especially if you like dumplings. I always enjoy going here when I am in Seattle. Never leave hungry.

Had a great post-ballgame meal! Definitely recommend the Pork Xiao Long Bao and zucchini shrimp dumplings. Food and service was great, we’ll definitely be back soon.

Sooo good! Great service, perfectly timed dishes arriving at our table. Best anywhere and everything tasting great. You cannot miss this place if in Seattle. We had dumplings, pan fried and steamed, noodles and marinated cucumbers.

Went with a girlfriend who had been there a few times, and raved about it. Most affordable dumping house in Seattle!! The noodles were SO good, and a bowl was only 5 bucks! Very affordable yummy dinner. The had egg-free noodles too, which accommodated a food allergy. We also shared pot-stickers, dumpings (OMG), and the Spicy Beef 'pancake' rolls. I cannot wait to go back and try more. So much more!!

Looking for great Chinese food at a great price. Cant miss at Dough Zone. Try the dumplings in chili oil...so good. Dan dan noodles out of this world and the prices, cant be beat. Definitely going back

We tried a variety of things and all were excellent. The noodle bowls were delicious and flavorful, as well as the dumplings and pot stickers. Tip: get the fried potstickers; not the steamed ones. The service was excellent. The only downside, if you call it that, was the atmosphere. It's kind of a fast-food type setting. That's fine as long as you're not expecting a more elegant dining experience.

As an east coast (NY and FL) resident, the type of Chinese cuisine I am used to isn’t exactly what Dough Zone offers. With that said, it was fantastic! I so much like dumplings and dim sum etc, and Dough Zone absolutely delivers. There are no gelatinous globs of stuff thrown together and dumped onto a plate. Just perfectly cooked and seasoned food, prepared simply (steamed, boiled, or lightly fried) to perfection. This is a must go-to destination on my next visit to Seattle.

This is kind of a sterile place in a great location and long waits for absolutely ordinary dumplings. Service is functional, but hardly friendly. We felt processed. There are much better dumplings in the dim sum restaurants around the corner.

Dough Zone Dumpling House 5 is the jam. Nestled on 5th street before the Chinatown gate you’ll welcomed to the most modern and clean dumpling house in the ID (international district). A buddy and I split three plates all of which were fabulous. We started with an order of the pork filled wontons in chili oil. They are my favorite dumpling in the world! Next came out an order of pork and crab xiao long bao (Shanghai soup dumpling). They aren’t the best I’ve had but certainly not the worst. Our last plate was an order of pan fried pork dumplings. They were absolutely fantastic. Not bad for an inexpensive lunch with a view! This is a must eat!

Convenient, quick, and tasty. Enjoyed the soup dumplings most. Parking available in lot behind the building or metered on the street.

Really good dumplings and very good prices. Snappy approachable service. Long lines already, but they have a nifty new reservation management system that really helps. My new favorite

Worth the wait (we had to wait 45 min, but there was an efficient website that told you exactly what place in line you were). The little steamed pork dumplings (xiao long bao) were among the best we've ever had, and we've had many outstanding examples from famous restaurants such as Din Tai Fung. These rank up there with the best - hot, flavorful, with an explosion of juice in every bite. Other dishes were equally good. This place always has a line and understandably why.

AMAZING dumplings. Great stop if you have to park in the area for a Seattle Mariners game. Even if you aren't going to a game its worth going to.

This is a very popular and contemporary take on Chinese food, with a near permanent queue. As we were just two, though, we got a place at the counter quite quickly. We had some great steamed dumplings here, as well as tasty green onion pancake and spicy noodles. Modern decor, and
Ummm…YUM!
Okay, this place has great food for an amazing value! Service was completely satisfactory and the place was clean. We ordered the sweet & sour cucumbers, the shrimp potstickers, the pork bao, the boiled chicken dumplings, and Dan Dan noodles. Dan Dan noodles were tasty except they lacked a little pork, but we were pleased anyway. The Sichuan peppercorn was on point in the Dan Dan! Everything was perfection and we are going back tomorrow, we liked it so well! I wish we had a Dough Zone where I live!
