Great restaurant on the neighborhood, glad they went from foodcart to brick and mortar. Reasonably priced, quick service and very tasty.

I like the food and the flavor. The best Asian food in the area. Not a big fan of the flaked peppers but everything else rocks. Good sized portions.

This is a must for U of P students and visiting family. Service is efficient, and the food is good for the price. Had green curry- nice large eggplant chunks, yummy sauce. Had two versions of drunken noodles- spicy and mild. Good but a little more broccoli would be good and not a largely noticeable difference on spice level. The salad rolls- shrimp version and tofu version- had crispy lettuce and the shrimp were perfect. No alcohol served, but tea and coffee are free.

We order from here frequently. The portions are good, authentic dishes and always delicious. Very popular with the university crowd. Wide diversity of dishes to choose. Never have been disappointed with what we have ordered.

I go here even though there are at least two other Thai restaurants closer to my house. The food here has that extra bit of interest that keeps me coming back. I tried the Evil Prince last time (curry over lots of mixed vegetables) and I'm so looking forward to having it again. Gluten free is easy here, too.

Not much ambiance but decent noodles, rice, curries. Close to University of Portland. Noisy at times. Lots of takeout orders. You order at the counter and they bring it to you.

The place was jammed with people who order and sit at the tables but we were in the pub next door and the food was brought to us so we could eat , while having wine and a beer. Everything was cooked to perfection with great flavors. I was surprised at the price but wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Tiny restaurant (perhaps 8 tables?) but food arrived incredibly quickly, so you likely won't have to wait too long for a table. Patrons are expected to clean up after themselves, but that's not a problem in my book. We ordered the original pad thai, the drunken noodles, green curry, red curry and pineapple fried rice. They were all fantastic!!!

This place is delicious. Seating is pretty limited, but I did see a patio for warmer days. We walked in, but many people call ahead and pick up. We are drunken noodles/chicken, chicken satay, and egg rolls and Something else, but it was excellent! Large portions, friendly people, clean place! Need to have a larger sign out front! Also have gluten and Vegan options 😊

this is such a sweet place, great prices, fast and warm service plus really nice person took our order. The food and ambiance were lovely but both my 15-year-old and I had tummy aches all evening. Maybe it was something else? But I think it was the food. we both had the mouth-numb-ish sensation after we ate, but thought, "oh well, we rarely have MSG, it won't kill us". Later, our stomachs went sour. all fine now.

My Daughter told me about Drunken Noodle and I had my reservation and we had 3 dishes and WOW I really enjoyed everything we ordered. The Drunken Noodle Phat Thai and the Fried Rice then Penang Curry. pPhat Thai and the Fried rice was outstanding and the curry was really good. I can't wait to go back.

I believe this is actually a Laotian restaurant with many traditional Thai dishes with nice twists. I do recommend the "traditional" Pad Thai, which has the perfect level of sweetness for my taste. The curries may not be the best in town, but they are all delicious. The service is friendly & very fast (no tableside waitstaff.) We take out, but they have a nice outside dining area as well as an adjoining bar which are nice spots to eat in.

Grabbed lunch at drunken noodle after reading about it in the Willamette Week cheap food guide 2016. I got the chicken drunken noodles and fresh rolls. My brother got the chicken phó (spicy). Food was awesome, interior was a little odd. :) The menu is EXPANSIVE but not expensive. There were so many yummy options that it was hard to choose. I'll definitely go back when I'm in town again.

Service is friendly. The food tastes authentic, delicious and hot. They follow Covid protocols, if that is important to you. I highly recommend Drunken noodle.

Stick with their specialty as indicated by their name, noodles! They are delicious. Love curry dishes? I haven't had much luck with those here.

My sister and I are in Portland for sister time. Our hotel recommended the Drunken Noodle for dinner. Best recommend for a wonderful dinner!! We shared pineapple fried rice with chicken and pan fried noodles with chicken. Both dishes were piled high on the plates. Plenty for both of us, if we were not in s hotel we would have taken home left overs and had plenty for another 2 meals. Looks like a local small family run restaurant. Very friendly, fast service and delicious food. I need to bring my husband to Portland soon and I know where one dinner will be!! Good job Drunken Noodle, you do a great job with your food!!

Wow, this place has started out with a bang. Just opened and has lines. Lots of to go orders--get yours in early. We ate in, and luckily were the first people there. Tried tom yum soup-some of the best I have tried and it is one of my faves. Also the pad kee mao--yum. Hubby got the pineapple fried rice. Lots of goodies in it. The fresh salad rolls were all that and~well you get the idea. Super good. They are a bit understaffed for the volume. Orders came out sporadically--and took quite some time. Was well worth it. Try it--

We were in Portland for a short vacation. We called in an order for three people and picked up our order, It was ready on time and excellent. The Green Curry was so good as was the Chicken Satay.

We ordered the Druken Noodle, Yellow Curry, House Fried Rice and two orders of the gyoza and everything was ONO (DELICIOUS)! Awsum service and simply perfect ambiance. We are going back before leaving this area!!

We decided to give this a try since one of our favorite places is just down the street and we'd seen this in the past. Portland has a plethora of good Thai/Oriental places, so the bar is pretty high. My needle wasn't moved much. This is a REAL busy place. Good on them! When it was our time to order (at the counter) the young lady was rushed and somewhat short with us. Annoyingly, their iPad pay system automatically gives you a "tip screen" to add what you want right at the time of order. Well, how do you know? And, neither my wife or I saw a way to opt out, so to speed the process along I added something to the tab and we moved on. When I looked at the total, I said, "That doesn't appear to be right to me." The total was actually 1/2 of what it should have been, but she wanted to argue until I rehearsed what it was we actually ordered. Well, she finally saw my point, recalled the total, then said a muffled "Thank You for catching that." We select a table, then......... Wait, and....... Wait, and ....... Wait. It was a full 15 minutes before my wife's plate arrived, and another five minutes after that when mine arrived, and it was........ Cold. And there goes the rating..... The Pad Thai was supposed to be medium spicy and it had no spice in it at all, leaving the flavor flat. I had to drizzle soy sauce and other spices on there to get any flavor. So, to review.... Cold noodles, flat flavor. Leaving me with... It was a healthy portion, so I got good filler material. The facility was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Parking can be an issue,as it is on a main thoroughfare. I will give it another opportunity sometime, but only because that's what I do. First shot was.... Meh?

I'm all for the small local restaurant so we went to Drunken Noodle after my daughters graduation at the Chiles center. The ratings were good and my elderly mother loves Thai but only orders it with me to help her. I know from experience that Thai heat can vary a lot from restaurant to restaurant. I first asked the guy behind the counter what were their popular dishes there as sometimes a restaurant has a signature dish, he looked really offended and didn't answer. I asked again, so what are the most popular dishes people order? Again, insulted, and asked what I felt like having? This was going nowhere so my mother asked what dishes weren't very spicy and he said the curries were not spicy at all. We all ordered and then I realized the seat I was sitting in had greasy marks all over it, the Hoisin sauce container was sticky and it appeared that no one cleaned between guests. When the food came - my mother and I both ordered the Pa Nang Curry it was very spicy. She could hardly eat hers, when he came to deliver the rest of our orders she told him it was very spicy and he had told us it wasn't spicy. I agreed with her and all he did was shrug his shoulders. She asked for limes to cut the heat but I could tell she didn't care much for it. Mine was hot too but not too spicy for me. My husband had the Mussamun curry and didn't care for it because it had a lot of carrots in it and the one we get by our house does not have carrots. My son had the Evil Prince and liked it. The restaurant is in what used to be a house. I would have given this more stars but the false advertising on the curry and the lousy attitude of the guy taking our order was very off putting. If you like Thai but don't want the heat, be sure to clarify how much heat is hot to them! My poor father had colon and stomach issues and had a very hard time with spicy foods so something this misleading would have been impossible for him to eat. They could have offered to remake it without the spice.

Best Thai place in St Johns, and maybe all North Portland, with great food, small comfortable place with a few window seats and outdoor back patio. Better for take out than eating there, but you can eat their food at the bar next store...best of both worlds! 🍜

Great little restaurant, went there and got takeout. Took a long time as it was busy but the food was excellent. Good quantity and we'll made.

This place is such a hit! Can't believe we haven't been here before! The drunken noodles are delicious, as is the curry and fried rice and spring rolls. We really loved the spring rolls! I would say those and the drunken noodles (hence the name) are the best. Nice simple place, bus your own table, easy ordering, friendly and quick staff, definitely try it and will definitely go back!

Fills all my requirements for great Asian dining: cheap prices, super quick service, huge portions, lots of flavor and a goofy name. The owner will make you feel like you’re family. Order at the kitchen window and by the time you find a seat in the bustling tiny dining room your meal will be brought to you. On a recent visit we tried their Vietnamese style pork chop and the red curry, both delicious, and the crab puffs, which were pretty good too.

My friends live in St. Johns, and they took me to this restaurant for my first meal in Portland. I ordered noodles with crab wontons. Everything was delish. I asked for mild seasoning, and it was barely on the cusp of what I could tolerate. However, it was still perfect. The crab wontons were absolutely fantastic. This will definitely be one of the stops I make during my next trip to Portland.

Found this little gem close to University of Portland. Fresh, inexpensive and authentic southeast asian dishes served in a cozy, ramshackle space. We had the drunken pad thai with tofu which meant wider, sizzling noodles than "regular" pad thai, delicious chicken yellow curry and the best chicken satay and peanut we've ever had! Skip the tom yum soup - was so/so compared to everything else. Three of us ate till we were full for $40. Must visit, especially for parents and students at U of P!
Very delicious Thai food
A small neighborhood Thai restaurant that was recommend by a local. My wife and I ate dinner on a weekday evening. Very quick service. We had one of the drunken noodle dishes and a yellow curry potato and chicken dish. Both were excellent and the portions were very generous. If I lived in the area, DN I would be going on a regular basis.
