Best dumplings I’ve had in years!

By beerandbreakfast |

Great place. The service was a little slow to start because it was lunch hour but once they got our order in the food came out quick, warm and delicious. I highly recommend the spicy pork steamed dumplings and the garlic cucumber. We also had regular pork dumplings and the shrimp. Everything was delicious and the price was very reasonable. Check them out!

Authentic

There is a short Dim Sum menu, authentic taste. It was a good find for a quick lunch. I would recommend if it the area.

Nice Spot ... Great Food ... but Not Filling

By EagleScout1985 |

My son and I traveled to San Francisco for a long weekend of hiking and visiting national parks. Upon arrival, we opted to try this place ... as my son found it online, and it was rated high by past users. We were greeted appropriately and provided a table immediately. However, we were not "told" what to do for ordering, as customers have to order through the app ... not with a server. Our fault for not knowing and not asking ... then again, this is not common in any of our other dining situations across the country. When the food arrived, it was displayed in a beautiful way, and it showcased the cultural tradition expected ... and the food was amazing! Perhaps being of a different mindset, the food was delivered in smaller portions and did not fill me up. My son was fine, then again, I am a 210 lb. male, use to eating larger portions. Oh well, I probably do not need to eat as much as I do ... I simply share this for others that might have the same expectations. Would we go back? Yes ... nice place, tucked away on a side street, easy to get to, delicious food, etc.

Delish and a must try

Very clean, fast service and food was delish. Cucumber salad was so refreshing. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. This is a “must try” place.

Never again.

Very over-rated dumplings. For someone who has had them my entire life, the dough is too thick. The dumplings are relatively tasteless and actually cooked too long?!? The bbq pork bun was ok and so was the fried potstickers. The wonton noodles were so bland it was liked it was looked in water!! I literally forced myself to eat the four wontons which tasted like frozen wontons and threw the rest out. No more than a 3/10 for this place.

Yummy has landed!

What a delightful place. The joint gets busy, there can be a wait, but it’s worth it. Absolutely excellent, delicious dumplings, very one a winner. The veggies are perfect. Service tries hard. Such great food! Enjoy!

Exceptional little restaurant

Great little restaurant. Superb lunch menu and very reasonable. Worth searching out if in Noe / Castro area. Choice of 3 items for lunch is brilliant - all great. Adored the wontons, spring rolls, pork dumplings, BBQ buns.

Neighborhood gem! Coming here is so easy, parking always dicey, unlike the wonderful cuisine on offer here. Simple decor, busy oandand one

Delish dumplings

We waited forever for dinner here but wow was it worth it! We ordered the green beans, hot and sour soup, chicken bao, beef bao, and so much more. Everything was so delicious and the service was great. We ate outside with heaters which we appreciated.

Good dumplings and noodles

This cosy eatery offers a nice selection of classic dumplings and noodles. The chilli wontons and Hong Kong style wonton soup with noodles were perfect comfort food for a cool San Francisco January evening.

Honest Dumplings

Limited menu, no frills restaurants but honest, good dumplings - which puts taste over prices. Try their soup dumplings - a house speciality and the tea show stoppers.
