Dined here and was lucky enough to get a late cancellation for a special occasion and was genuinely blown away by the experience. It was like walking into a broadway theatre for a premiere performance and eagerly anticipated the rise of the curtain. The interaction between the chef's and the 9 of us dining was superb and the food was genuinely mind blowing!! The food which a lot of it was familiar the methods, presentations and drama of the dishes added to them like a sixth sense. I have worked in a number of 2 & 3 star kitchen in the UK and believe this would be up there in terms of food, service and atmosphere A bucket list experience!! Will definitely be back to dine again in the future and already counting down! Thank you Chef Andres and all your fantastic staff for a once (it wont be) in a lifetime experience.

This is no normal meal, this is a show. From start to finish we had a great experience. This is about so much more than the food. Perfect service. All of the chefs were brilliant and given the interactive nature of the dining experience, they coped extremely well. Food was $195 plus taxes and tips. Paired wines start at $130 and go to silly amounts. Our only slight drawback was that some of the food was a bit of a let down. In a meal of 20 courses, this is to be expected and the food is very much molecular gastronomy. You have to visit to appreciate the quality.

There are simply very few food experiences like this in LV. Although I gravitate more toward experiences where the chef doesn't have outposts across the country, E! is an exception. The real show here is the kitchen staff plating and explaining the courses directly in front of you. Jose Andres' style of food is translated perfectly albeit by underlings but the intimacy of the experience and the quality of the food leaves nothing to chance. I like the selection at BAZAAR more but this was a one of a kind Vegas experience.

I have pretty high expectations for good food and know what good food is. This experience was probably the best food experience I’ve ever had. And it is more than a meal, it is fun! The chefs were wonderful, friendly and so talented. You get to know them because they’re working right in front of you. And each course (21) was inventive, perfectly executed and delicious. I don’t want to post pictures or describe them because I think the surprises will make it even better. Well worth the price. For real. It’s a splurge, but one you will remember.

Truly amazing! Loved the beautiful presentation of each dish! The steak, fish, and brandy dessert drink were my favorites! The chefs actually prepared a 24 course meal for us (they had extra fish). This is a culinary experience that I feel everyone should try at least once! Reservations must be made 2-3 months in advance:)

We visited this restaurant last Sunday night. It is the best meal I have had in the United States in my lifetime. To give you perspective, we have eaten at French Laundry, Gary Danko and Highlands Bar & Grill to name a few in the US and Cellar De Can Roca in Spain which, until this year was No. 1 in the world. This masterpiece by Chef Andres stands up to those places very well. With the exception of Cellar De Can Roca, what sets this place apart is the imagination in every dish. The experience consists of a 2 hour meal with approximately 20 courses. All are prepared right in front of you. The restaurant has only 8 seats at a bar that overlooks the preparation area. It all takes place in a beautiful room behind Jaleo in the Cosmopolitan hotel. Each dish was more imaginative than the next. In fact, when we first sat down there was a beautiful looking plant sitting in a glass vase in front of us. Turned out that was course number 2. The place is not cheap, but for entertainment value and food, it is worth every penny. I would add that there are 2 seatings. A 5:30 and an 8:30. We took the 5:30. It allowed us a full evening of gambling afterward; however, I think in retrospect maybe the 8:30 would have seemed a little less rushed. Oh, well, I'll have to return to find out.

I won't bore you with a 3 page dissertation but if you are a fine diner and not cheap this is an excellent meal executed by a very talented staff. Foie gras heavy as stated before and we hit it right at the end of truffle season. You don't have to like everything to enjoy this meal, but leave your prejudices at the door and give everything a taste. I'm off the booze at the minute but my partner had the Spanish wine flight and it was wonderful. The sommelier was very good, and his peer(?) who was also working that night, while young, was very well versed in his field. Eat here once in your life.

So, my only knock is the 21 courses seemed a bit rushed. I didn't have the wine pairing and was glad. Those guys were chugging. I had a Knob Creek (or two) on the Rocks. The cooks move like a well oiled machine and were personal. I requested no foie gras and they accommodated me and made me special tapas. It's pricey. You know that going in, so I can't understand people complaining about this. The alcohol also costs money. Again, I thought this was known as a common practice in the universe. Nobody was pressuring me to drink or add a wine flight, so again, not a valid complaint. This was simply the best meal I have ever had. I don't have an overly pretentious palate, so this coming from 'just a guy'. As you can see by the pictures they let us have at some cotton candy. Fun was had by all, save one Bryan Adams' hater.

We went for lunch when it was quiet and one of the group was vegetarian. The food was perfectly presented and tasted delicious. All of the classic dishes are there but served with style and a twist

Part show, part chemistry experiment, part art, part culinary genious. This restaurant is amazing. It's hard to get a reservation, it's super expensive, but it is definitely worth it. It's a hidden room in the back of Jaleo. If you don't know about it you will not find it. There is no name over the door. There is no phone number. You need to book your reservation on line. They send you a

From start to finish A+. When I chose this place to celebrate my 71st B'day I was a bit hesitant since I had had a little problem in their dining room Jaleo .. but the intervention by Dylan (manager) eased my concerns a bit and so we stayed with the original reservation .. well .. that turned out to be a very wise decision (thank you Dylan) .. could not have been better. From the very outset, the crew of chef's under the direction of Eric Suniga entertained us while they provided by far the best variety of ingredients, accoutrements and flavors I have ever found in a restaurant. I thought it was an incredible bargain to have all of that for a mere $250! 22 dishes (maybe more?), we chose the Spanish wine pairing, except for the Sherries, I loved them all (I am not a Sherry person) not to fault the sommeliers choices. I will definitely make a return visit. Hard to name my favorite, the Uni & Lardo was one, another was Wonder Bread ... the 'sandwich of persimmon, truffle & foie gras.... (I joked about a 'doggie bag', and Chef Eric gave us 3 of these TO GO), another was the Wagyu cheek! WOW!, so many flavors, so well combined and presentation, presentation, presentation !!!! Don't miss this epicurean treat, plan ahead, only 9 seats in each session.. We booked in November for our visit in January.

A great way to dine : with such limited seating you have to book early , but the one large table is great to meet new people whilst watching the food being plated . Too many courses to list , but all had a complexity and it is next level when you hear how they were prepared . Great place to have a special night out and the food lived up to what I had read .

This is an experience! I've done it twice now. It's definitely for the foodie who enjoys molecular gastronomy and a show. The staff is fantastic. One suggestion: carefully consider the wine pairing. There are three levels/choices. On our first visit we chose the middle tier. We were very happy with that choice. For my second visit I took a friend who likes wine but is not a wine enthusiast as I am. (Live in CA wine country.) So for her I chose the level 1 tier and for myself the level 3 (for a steep price). Of course we shared the pairings. There were a few selections in her pairings that I did not care for. But there were some I preferred over mine. I did not think the price of my wine pairing was worth it. Just my opinion.

There were some courses that were absolute hits, a few that were misses. But the experience was second to none. The service was exceptional and it was a lot of fun! Definitely do the wine pairing! Don't go if you're concerned about spending money, it ain't cheap! But if you do it, go all out! You won't be disappointed! Bravo Jose Andres and your staff!

We loved it! My husband and I could only get away for a couple of nights for our anniversary so we ended up in Las Vegas. This was an absolutely fabulous experience! We were put with a very fun and interesting group of people and the staff was terrific!! The food was really terrific...so tasty and beautiful! The production of each course was so entertaining and cool to watch and the presentation of the food was lovely! I am sooo glad we went! Definitely a great memory!!! We went at the beginning of June but I wanted to be sure to share my wonderful experience so this review is a little late.

My wife and I had a superb tapas lunch at E on my birthday with our 2 friends who live in Las Vegas. I am a real devotee of tapas and the ones we all enjoyed at E were simply the best. For the table we had 1 order of the Endives, goat cheese, oranges and almonds, 2 orders of shrimp sauteed in garlic, 1 of the grilled Catalan pork sausage, 1 grilled chicken thighs, 1 house made chorizo and 1 grilled hanger steak. Our server was helpful with recommendations and we had the restaurant almost to ourselves. The kitchen was very unique with the center flame section used for preparing large orders of grilled and sauteed meat and paella in huge pans which the server said was their premier dish. Someday, I would like to go to dinner here, the Paella sounded fantastic. This restaurant and its owner chef are both famous, after trying some of the tapas, I can see why.

When you're planning on a Las Vegas trip & you enjoy indulging in the finer palates in life then é by Jose Andres is for you. If you are lucky enough to get reservations here which must be made 3 months in advance you will not be disappointed. (There are only two sessions of 8 over 5 nights) If you succeed in getting reservations to this special section of Jaleo inside the Cosmopolitan you are given a golden ticket. Yes a golden ticket just like from Willy Wonka. Yes most individuals find paying $200/person for dinner a little steep but when you consider it's a 20 course meal by renowned Chef Jose Andres. Each dish is carefully explained & delicately prepared right in front of the horseshoe shaped table. The experience is absolutely amazing as all of your senses are exposed to the creative culinary genius' mind. The menu changes seasonally so if you can afford it 😉. A little word from the wise, try to voice record the descriptions of the courses by the chefs because the menu only gives the names of the dishes but not a detailed description.

Well our months of waiting is over and we experienced é. Yes it was very expensive with even the basic drink pairing, but after being sure I wasn't going to add that expense was glad that we did. It filled out the whole experience. And an experience it was. No, not every dish tasted amazing, but every dish was interesting and added to the ones prior to it. Not a single dish was bad, some were interesting and some were flavors that made you happy you went to the effort and expense to come. I'd like to say we'd do it again, but because if the cost I don't know, but we have it to remember now and it's up there in terms of value of adding to life experiences.

To start you will need to make a reservation about 3 months out to get in. The experience was unreal, private room seated 8 people with 2 chefs who walk you through 20+ course's of some of the most amazing food, created in unique original ways, it was amazing all round. This is a must!

What can i say, we meet Jose Andres via a common freind en Dominican Republic and Jose Andes himself joined us for the Night, after 3 bottles of Wine and 14 Tapas with the man Himself i can only Say it's the Best!!! So many things pass your mind with Jose Andre's magic!

The staff all provided an amazing experience for us as we ate. The food was fun and creative, and was an experience to enjoy. While I did not get the wine pairing, they did a great job pairing mixed drinks with the meal for me.Though there is a lot to be gained from your companions, I was paired with several great couples and we had an amazing night.

Warning! Your wallet will shrink! But Shrinking Wallet Syndrome is common in Vegas and it usually isn't fun or tasty. This experience is not for everyone. You need to be a serious foodie who will face "weird" looking "food" with anticipation, not fear or concern. You need a broad food palate. This is not meat and potatoes. If you have too many food allergies or other culinary can'ts, I suggest that you beg off. But for the rest of us. Wow! What an evening. The menu evolves, so you won't know in advance what you will be served. Reservations are by email only. Your group will share the experience with up to a total of 9 people sitting in a semi-circle to help the assemblers with the 26 (!!!) different plates. Back to SWS (Shrinking Wallet Syndrome) briefly. The bill starts at $195 + tax + tip. In the words of a song from Le Miz, "Jesus, its amazing how it grows!" There is a truffle option. Why not? There are beverage pairings, at the 150, 300 and 500 levels. I admit I went for the 300 level. But to temper these prices consider. 3 cooks, 2 assemblers and 2 servers and a sommelier served just 9 people for 3 hours. The food isn't just wild, it is labor intensive. I left a hefty tip for all the work. I'll leave the food a bit of a mystery. As it was for me. Here are a few items to tease you. 1) start with a Sangria Granita. 2) A gazpacho "sandwich" that turned into a soup in your mouth. 3) An "empanda" made of fresh spun cotton candy and stuffed with cornuts and fois gras. And it was awesome. The beverages included a herb infused vermuth that was a very pleasant surprise. You also get to see "molecular gastronomy" at work. The science + cooking is something your probably have seen done this way before. So for the well healed foodie. Yes, get in line and get your email in. You won't believe what you are eating AND you will enjoy it. Even facing SWS, it was worth it.

We visit the Pizza Expo every year in march last year we stayed at the cosmo, I had 7 people in my group but there was only one spot left at e! I made a selfish move to take the Golden ticket on a 18 course culinary journey in the mind of Jose Andres. Literally in his mind was how the private room inside Jaleo is laid out. With library filing cabinets on the walls as if all his recipes where written in them. There was baby doll in a bird cage which I thought was kinda creepy but it's actually had meaning that he's very protective of his daughters and wanting to keep them safe. There is Chalk board behind chefs bar that had a bunch of things written by Jose when him an a friend got drunk when opening the restaurant. The place was very VIP we must have had 12+ chefs preparing each course right in front of us. I don't there was one course that disappointed. I remember a couple of the foie gras tastings to be very memorable one looked like like pb & j sandwich but with truffles & foie gras WOW! And the made an empanada with cotton candy & corn nuts you got one I could have at a dozen. If your a foodie or love the finer things in life this is a journey to go on for sure

The food gives a true reflection of Spanish cuisine. Maitre and waiters are attentive The track, the octopus leg are very good. Very select red wine menu

So, there is nothing to rant and rave about this place. I went last night and sat with nice folks from all over the world, but the food was not all that impressive especially for the price. I spent $900 for the meal and featured wines which were $500 of the meal. We had 20 courses which included a few tastings of truffle as well. The service was top notch and all of the chefs inclusive of Eric were excellent in explanations and questions that were answered. Oh, had Foie Gras donut - pictures included. I wish it had blown my socks off but it just didn't.

Not everyone gets to experience E on such a short notice as we were able to give the restaurant. Unfortunately due to a family health emergency we did not get to experience a once in a lifetime culinary experience. We want to thank E for giving us the original opportunity and then for their genuine understanding of why we could not make our reservation. We are grateful that another couple was able to have their culinary experience of a lifetime and hope we will get the opportunity once again in the near future.

I can understand why people get excited about this restaurant. the service is impeccable. The dishes are beautiful and some of them very creative. Most of them are very tasty. However, there is no real concept behind the menu. Too many deserts and even some of the dishes that need to be savory are a bit too sweet. The tasting menu is very expensive also due to the expensive ingredients that are used repeatedly; 2 courses with caviar, 3 courses with fois gras, 2 courses with truffles. Another problem is that they rush you with the food. They don't allow enough time to not only enjoy the food, but also discuss it and analyze it. Chris, the sommelier is very professional and one of the highlights of the evening. Like many things in Vegas, the show is more important than the content, which is a shame. After eating in other great restaurants in the world, the experience at e was a bit disappointing.

I'll bet the bartender usually does not get this request but in the past week I have treated myself to two special gin and tonics from the bar at e by Jose Andres. It is a known fact that the Fever Tree, elderberry infused Hendriks gin cocktail is award winning. There is just something special about this drink. The mix of flavors is awesome and addictive. Oh yes, and just to watch the genius chefs making fresh PAELLA is a real treat. They brought me a taste and I will be going back for more very soon...and for another to go GIN AND TONIC !!

We visited at lunch, the menu is a distilled version of the evening menu. The service was attentive and the food very good quality with lots of vegetarian choices. The manchengo cheese and potato dish (patasas bravas) was delicious and very carefully presented. I'd definitely go again and try dinner. My one criticism, from asking for the bill to actually paying took 20 minutes. I just wanted to get on my way...

Very late review, we went July 14, 2018. My husband and I absolutely loved this dining experience. Each course was plated beautifully and was a tasting sensation. I loved each and every course and the wine pairings were perfect. This was a very expensive experience but it was worth every penny. The service was amazing and didn’t I mention the food.....wow! It was so fantastic to watch the chefs work their magic.

We managed to get a reservation for our wedding anniversary. What an absolutely fantastic experience. all the meals were prepared right in front of us. The chef's did a wonder job on preparation, presentation, flavours and the fragrance. With so m any dishes it is very hard to pick the best one, the smoked Oysters or the Mushroom dish. All the deserts very just Devine. If you get the chance to dine here don't hesitate. It only serve 8 people per sitting. The restaurant is in the Cosmopolitan Hotel

Few people have heard of E` by Jose Andre`. It is a very intimate dining experience hidden behind Julleo at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It is exclusive. Reservations are made three months in advance. It only serves 16 per day, in a 5:30 and 8:30 seating of eight people each. Plan on spending more than $500 for dinner for two with a drink and gratuity. It is elegant. The room is decorated to represent the mind of the creator himself, Chef Jose Andre`. The walls are card catalog drawer fronts. Porcelain dolls adorn parts of the room along with other oddities. I think that I counted nine staff preparing the food before your eyes. The more than 20 small plays are prepared with incredible attention to detail. Service is flawless and very personal. It is as much a performance as it is dining. And I would have to call it experimental. From frozen berries and sangria wine as a beginning, to the miniature candies decorated with gold and flavored with Spanish saffron, creativity in smell, taste, sight, and touch are to be experienced. Your mouth becomes a laboratory for your senses. And the breadth of your palate will be expanded with goat cheeses, suckling pig, tuna belly, ray wings, a variety of meringues, and more. For the foodie, this is something to be experienced at least once in your lifetime! You will experience perfection! For foodies

As a Vegas local for 12 Years I have been to Guy Savoy and Joel Robuchon several times. This particular tasting meal was by far my favorite so far in Vegas. It easily superseded both others I mentioned above. The innovation, the quality, the intimate ambience of being right there while the dishes were created made this a memorable dining experience. Would recommend this tasting menu to any and all who are looking for such an experience in Vegas. The Gin and tonics are the best I have ever had. The desserts were simply phenomenal. I have to say I’m disappointed that I didn’t come to “e” sooner.

We had waited several years to reschedule our visit to "e". We all know that getting a reservation, especially if you live in EST, is quite difficult. Do not give up trying as we promise you it is worth the effort! We were met in the outside area and sat together at a bench and table waiting to be brought into the kitchen. We were provided a nice glass of champagne to start the evening off. We were a group of 4 that was joined by one additional couple. Due to COVID, they reduced the capacity down to 6. Once we were brought into the kitchen area, the festivities began. There was a divider between our group of 4 and the other couple for added protection. While we were introduced to the 5 member cooking staff for the evening, most of the interaction occurred with the Sommelier Robert and the Head Chef Alex. All we can say is that the experience was out of this world. While 20 courses (with wine pairing which we would highly recommend) sounds daunting, the portions were largely tapa style small bites. While some dishes might be outside your normal comfort zone, do not skip any. All the while the preparation is going on, the chefs' are engaging in describing not only what you are going to eat, but the intricate process which goes into the creation. Robert expertly describes each wine and cocktail you receive and how/why they were chosen to accentuate the meal. While we could post a copy of the menu we received for the evening, part of the fun is the variety and not knowing what exactly is coming next. While there are truly hundreds of top restaurants in Vegas to choose from, if you do not go to "e" you are missing out on the top of the top!

Yeah it's expensive but if you think of what dinner and a show might cost, it's worth it. Because the dinner IS the show and it's awesome. It's in a little hidden room off of Jaleo (which, on it's own, is great...especially for lunch). It seats 8 couples and serves 24 courses, all deconstructed to look and taste awesome. The chefs are wonderful and explain everything you're having and are exceptionally friendly on top of that. I ordered a bottle of prosecco to go with dinner and it was surprisingly reasonable. There are so many reasons to go this place, not to mention just the experience alone. We had seen it on an Anthony Bourdain show, and it didnt' disappoint. Note, that the bill is about $600, so it ain't cheap. But dinner for 2 in an nice place with show tickets to the better shows, is going to run you about $400+ anyway. It's worth that little bit extra, trust me.

This place is special and perfect for a celebration. You’re taken through an exceptional culinary experience by the chefs who prepare the dishes in front of you. It’s really interactive so you have chance to ask them any question you want. My only criticisms are: 1) that this was the second time I’ve been and the menu was virtually the same as it was back in 2019 and 2) it felt quite a rushed service as plates were being removed from in front of us whilst we were still chewing.

The food was all lovely and presented very well but the evening was tarnished by the poor service we received. We waited for ages for our food to arrive to be told they were waiting for us to finish the salad we had order to go with the rest of the tapas so had to wait another 15 mins for our food to arrive. Then the waiter got our order wrong and forgot one of our dishes so we had to wait almost half an hour for then to cook this. The food was lovely but we were very let down by the service.

My husband and I spent New Year's in Vegas and wanted to try this restaurant as we often fine dine while visiting and wanted to try something different. E' did not disappoint. It was quite a unique experience to watch the chef prepare each dish and the attention to detail that goes into each one. Yes, it is expensive and we thought it should have been a 500.00 meal as opposed to an 800.00 meal. (especially since I didn't opt for the wine pairing and by the way the wait staff really pushes the achohol here on you and make you feel cheap if you decline. For me I don't drink it wasn't about the money! I was never offered an alternative besides water.) We won't be returning but we do understand why people enjoy it. The food is wonderful (the fluke fish with chicken stock gravy and saved truffles was superb!) and consistently surprising. The chefs were entertaining the hostess as others mentioned, not so much. It's worth trying once for sure. Keep in mind your sitting at a bar so ladies in heels it is not comfortable to sit there for over two hours wear flats.

This is a once in a lifetime experience for those fortunate enough to dine there. Every dish was made with mastery and love. The chefs were highly interactive with the diners and were more than happy to answer any and all questions. I love the new structure of having the chefs prepare and serve the food rather than having a separate wait staff. This creates a an intimate connection between staff and diners. Every single dish was exquisite. There was great variety and artistry in the menu. The sommelier welcomed us warmly and remained engaged throughout the experience. Please do your research before you go so that you understand that this is an exclusive fine dining experience and is priced accordingly. If you are opposed to paying top dollar for fine dining, there are plenty of affordable options in Vegas for you to choose from. I appreciated dining with other guests who valued the quality of the food and the artistry of the chefs, it made the experience that much more enjoyable. Thak you Chef Uñiga and staff.

when you make a reservation at this place, you own it. No refunds - like theater tickets. Alinea and others do this. Hint - order the wine pairing when you arrive. And boy does 'e' put on a show. Great cocktails to start. The wine add on was worth it, as the pairings worked. Wine guy was very friendly. If you aren't big drinkers order one for the two of you and share it. The initial courses come out quickly, maybe too quickly. Perhaps too many course with foie gras. Nothing bizarre in the ingredients (like eating tongue or frog or eyeballs). Decor of restaurant is fun and different. Check in at Jaleo host stand. Restaurant is in Cosmopolitan hotel. Need to make reservations well in advance. Dress is casual. Kitchen staff was conversationable and knowledgeable. Was unique evening. Maybe 2.5 hours. If like Jose or gastro food - try it. Don't look at food photos ahead of time, experience it there.

This restaurant was amazing and was definitely worth the effort to make a reservation. From start to finish, everything worked liked a well oiled machine. I was a little nervous about the sheer number of courses, about 20, when I dined; however, the bite size portions made it easy for us to try very different dishes each course. The Spanish wine pairing was excellent and the food presentation was unparalleled. Thank you for a very special meal and for raising the bar on fine dining!!

Great event to go to if you or your partner are expert Foodies. We enjoyed an evening At Jaleo with 6 other people- small group setting with excellent service 2 Chefs What a way to excite the pallet on a variety of dishes made right in front of you. They explain each dish and conversation around the seating with other Foodies was great learned a lot about other restaurants around the country Yes it si pricey especially if you do the wine paring- we did opt for a couple of glasses of wine only with our meal this was a 21 small plate course the presentation was amazing- Truly impressive culinary experience I highly suggest this evening out and I would choose the later seating that way do do not feel rushed the only thing I would change is how they greet you before the entry to the dining room I think with the price of the meal they good give you a little more exclusive seating area to wait I also wish they had mailed the Golden Tickets to us before the meal as i would have like to given that to my partner as present

We were fortunate enough to get a reservation at E, the 8 seat restaurant inside Jaleo and the mind of owner/Chef Jose Andras. Jaleo is wonderful as a Spanish/Tapas restaurant on its own, but E takes it to another whole level. Like its predecessors El Bulli (which we were able to visit in 2010) and Noma (still trying to get a reservation), this 20 course tasting menu reveals the wonderful creativity of Spanish/Global cuisine. We attended the earlier seating (530p) and they have a later seating starting at 8p. On arrival you are seated at bar tables near the front to meet your other dining companions and have some welcome drinks, then you are ushered into the Cave (think a Japanese Bar tables -sem-circular) with lots of fascinating ornaments and odd curiosities. The 5 chefs introduce themselves and the food starts coming out fast and furious. Highlights were the Cotton Candy Empenada, the Spheres of Sangria, and the beef tenderloin (the last of which was presented in regular format). We also had the wine/beer tasting menu which included drinking from a very unique spanish glass that looks like a decanter and sends wine out in a narrow stream which you try to extend your arm away from you to make the stream longer. In any event, a wonderful experience with lots of good fun from the chefs and servers (very approachable and talkative) as well as from your fellow guests. All in the meal is around $250/person and the wine pairing is $130/person. There is a fancier wine pairing for $330/person, but none of our 8 guests partook. Reservations suggested 6 weeks or so in advance and they have a Facebook page if you're open to last minute. A little expensive but you won't be disappointed...Enjoy! Buon Appetito...

I’ve wanted to eat at e by Jose Andres for years and finally planned a trip to Vegas hoping we could get a reservation. I believe reservations open up 3 months early but we managed, a month out, to get two seats at the early eating the first week of February. When you arrive at Jaleo in the Cosmopolitan, you’re greeted and seated at a table at the front of the restaurant where you can enjoy a cocktail and someone goes over all the beverage options with you. There were three levels of pairings. The Spanish wine pairing was $130. There was a mid-range pairing for closer to $250 and a 3rd super high end pairing that was expensive enough that she didn’t even offer a price. If you have to ask…. I shared with her my hesitancy to take a full pairing because I tend to get too tipsy to fully appreciate the later courses in a tasting menu and she assured me she wouldn’t over fill my glasses. I realize this means I got less wine but when you’re eating some place like e, you want to remember every moment. Once everyone had arrived, we were led to a private room in the back of the restaurant where, in the center of the whimsically decorated room was a bar with 9 seats. My understanding is there are normally no more than 8 seats, but we had one diner who was there without a companion so they were able to squeeze him in. Things work like this: There is a brigade of several chefs, some out of the room in the kitchen and some in the dining room, who prepare a 21-course meal for the diners. The food comes out of the kitchen or out of coolers in the dining room already prepared, but since every plate is meticulously plated in front of the diners, there is a lot of action. I won’t go into excruciating detail about all the dishes we ate since these change all the time, but I will say watching the plating process was fascinating. The chefs are happy to answer any questions the diners have and our diners had a lot about the ingredients, cooking methods, plating methods and more. They were very knowledgeable and approachable. It’s clear they love their job. I know some people will balk when told they had a 21-course meal but most courses really are only a bite or two. We left after 2 hours and were full, but not stuffed. It was worth every last penny.

In little over 2&1/2 hours, you are served 20 dishes which are assembled in front of you. Innovative presentation and great taste along with unobtrusive service make this truly unforgettable dining experience. Book early as this restaurant within Jaleo seats only 8.

This place lives up to the hype of catering to a foodie’s dream come true. The venue is separate from the main restaurant by a glass door. It’s like stepping into the inner psyche of the chef Andres. The decor is eclectic yet subtly suggestive of what’s waiting behind the curtains. Very intimate dining experience of 8-9 patrons at a seating (only two seating per night). Needless to say “meticulous” doesn’t even begin to describe the fanatical attention to details in presentation of the edible art arrangement that is each of the 22 courses. Wine pairing is optional, and can quickly over-take the pricing of the the prix fixe tasting menu itself. Three tiers of pairings are available, from the delightful, to the sublime, to the extravagant. The tasting menu itself is preset. They do cater to food aversions if any, as one of the guests in our seating doesn’t eat anything with dairy. Each dish is prepared right in front of us from ingredients cooked in the back kitchen. It gives us a glimpse of what usually is not privy to patrons at a gourmet restaurant , and is a performance to savor in its own right. Highly recommended.

My husband and I hadn't been to Las Vegas since October of 1990 so while we were there we wanted an ultimate dining experience. Something out of the norm... So I did some research and came across E by Jose Andres in the Cosmopolitan. I'm so happy I made the reservations. Despite the price tag and my husbands somewhat reservations to try something different than just meat and potatoes. We enjoyed every morsel and it was quite filing considering the portion sizes. But it was 22 courses so I guess at some point one should become full. I also would like to commend the chefs and staff at E by Jose Andres for accommodating our food allergies. My husband is highly allergic to fish and shellfish. And I have nut allergies. So in the pictures you may see different variations of the dishes that they created to accommodate our allergies. We were real special that day. Dinner setting is very small. Designed for 8 guest. And actually at my sitting there was only 5 of us. Which was cool... didn't bother any of us one bit. Receiving the "Willy Wonka" Golden Tickets in the mail and our own personalized menus added a special touch. A must do experience if you can!! ENJOY!!

My wife and I recently visited E by Jose Andres. Essentially it is a restaurant within Jaleo at the Cosmopolitan. You have to buy tickets online at the ebyjoseandres.com website They open up reservations a few months in advance and I believe there are only 8 seats per seating (530 pm and 830pm). I booked dinner with the platinum wine tasting. We checked in for the 530pm seating and our group had a table near the bar for our first course and drinks. We were then lead to the back dining area. The dining area is a relatively small room with a service area, where the chef puts together our meal and explains it to us. The dining room is a window to Chef Andres' mind, with fun and fanciful decor. There is a total of 20 courses (they are small tapas sized bites). The food was wonderful, and each course was well thought out, prepared wonderfully and adventurous. Our servers were wonderful and friendly. The chefs were great. You are encouraged to ask anything you want about the food and wine and how it was prepared. My wife and I had the platinum wine pairing, which was perfect, but we also were able to have a little bit of the Spanish wine pairing as well. I think you will not go wrong with any pairing. This was a fun culinary adventure for a pair of foodies. Would come back again.

This place provided an amazing experience! This little back room in the back of Jaleo (both are owned by the José Andrés Group) seats 12 (maybe 14, I think?) people per seating. When you arrive, they will have you wait at a table and you have the opportunity to order a cocktail (such as one of their excellent gin and tonics). You can chat with your dinner mates as you wait for everyone to arrive. You are then escorted to the room and sat down at bar-style seating surrounding the area where the chefs will prepare your plates in front of you. We opted to get the Spanish wines pairing to go with the food. All in all, there was maybe a dozen small courses - each more fascinating than the next. We had a little fish, a little meat, and some creations that were unheard of (like the tiny PB&J-tasting snacks that were fluffy and made with some crazy "molecular gastronomy" - we even had frozen sangria that looked like Dippin' Dots!). Each plate was a surprise and the chefs were friendly and great about answering questions about the food and how they came up with these things. The whole evening was delightful and, between the food and the wine, I was absolutely full (those little plates add up). Getting a reservation can be difficult - we requested ours through the AmEx concierge service in advance and they were able to get us one. You will spend $$$, but it will be one of the most fun restaurant experiences of your life.

We and another couple just need a little snack and a drink to hold us over until our dinner, so we were there around 2:00ish and it was not busy. We ordered a cheese plate, the grilled bread with tomato and a sausage dish, all tapas. All were authentic, the sausage dish however I would have been embarrassed to serve for the price, eight one inch round slices that were paper thin. Good sangria and nice service. Quality ingredients, I would expect a dinner to be quite good.

This is the most unbelievable experience in molecular gastronomy. They catered to my allergies. It is so well cultured and organized. It is a must for the foodie and wine lover. The courses vary in richness in flavor to eye catching beauty.

Started slow but Dutsin got the show going. Alex the head chef and his "crew" were off the chart! Now understand that this is a 700 to almost a grand dinner. But the show and the flavors are so unbelievably fabulous. It really is like a food concert. Put it on the bucket list and move on. Chef Andres would be proud.

We've had some amazing tasting menus over the years and this one was excellent as well. A lot of very creative cooking techniques and textural surprises while you sit in an intimate setting and watch the chefs prepare everything. We did the wine pairings and the sommelier was very good in his selections and information about the wines. Usually it's only 8 people per sitting but we had only two other couples...one a very nice couple who had been there before and the other couple...not sure why they even came. The husband was drunk...gobbled down every course in one bite before even listening to the inspiration/ingredients etc. then made a face or negative comment. His wife was so embarrassed she got up and left with him halfway through. My only negative thought is 21 courses is 4-5 too many and there were too many sweet bites at the end of the dinner. A little editing on the sweet courses would be a good touch. Otherwise a really great experience.

E was fun, foodie focused and full of facts about Spanish cuisine. We lost count of the courses as well as the beverage pairings. If you do choose the beverage pairing, it is wine, but also sherry and cocktails, which are inventive and also playful. E seems to reflect Jose Andres's personality, embodied in a room that is intimate yet open.

This is the experience of a lifetime. We had 26 courses, and they were magnificent! If you love creative food, you will love this. Reserve ahead of time, because there are only 2 seatings per night, & it's 8 people per seating. They refer to the dinner as a "show," which is an apt description. Our dinner included 3 small cocktails (not all of which were liquid). Since I rarely drink alcohol, I was fine with only ordering a glass of (the most delicious that I've ever had) sangria. This is something to consider, as the hostess will ask you if you want to add a drink pairing to your dinner (9 drinks, not 1 for each course, but still, I don't think I'd have been able to walk out of there). It depends on your tolerance.

Located inside of Jaleo at the Cosmopolitan, you are escorted into a private room where you are treated to the finest food and service José Andrés has to offer. Our meal was 25 courses plated in front of us by two chefs, that take you through each course. Inspirations, flavors, how to enjoy, and what to expect on each round. Absolutely top notch at every turn. The quiet and private atmosphere adds to the experience. I've dined at multiple 1, 2, & 3 Michelin Star restaurants, but honestly, this food and experience leaves all of them behind. There may be a better experience out there, I've yet to find it.

A lot of people have photos of this spot on their social media and review sites. And I'll be honest. Some of it doesn't look very good. Green, slimy stuff that I imaged would taste like the veggies I used to feed to the dog under the table when I was a kid. But, when you're paying this kind of dough for a meal, you pretty much figure you'll try the slimy stuff and pray you like it. You can't really live on foie gras, so I highly doubt I'd go back anytime soon, but this really is a remarkable culinary experience. We also did the cheaper of the wine pairing which I'd recommend. One misstep on my part was to also order a cocktail before we went in for dinner (skip doing that if you're having the wine pairing), and you get one of their amazing gin and tonics at the end of the meal. This dining experience is nothing short of an art installation live and in person. You are doted on from the second you step in and with only 8 or 9 seats, it's so intimate and feels as special as the price tag would suggest. Cheese that looks like rocks? Yep. Ate that. Slimy green balls? Yes. Ate that too. And would have gone back for more if I could. Want a magical dining experience? This is the spot. Looking to be as full as you'd be at a steakhouse? Then take a pass, but every tiny, handcrafted bite was one I'll remember for a long, long time.

After the novelty wears off at e by Jose Andres, they'll have to come up with a better menu. It was fun watching the "chemistry" but the food will have to improve a bit. We also felt a little rush for that expensive of a meal.

The tasting room has seating for eight. We love tapas and this place did not disappoint! Every course is a work of art and tasty! If you are a serious foodie, you need to visit here.

I've wanted to visit this place for so long, given Jose Andres' reputation. I was not disappointed. Molecular gastronomy combined with the deft skills of a master sommelier, presented by a staff of chefs who are as personable as they are talented. I recommend opting for a wine pairing, as it elevates the whole experience. The fact that they actually send you a "golden ticket" should give you a hint that the evening is going to be one part food and one part fantasy. A truly magical experience.

We are total foodies. If you don't like gastronomy style restaurants or you don't know what that is - skip E. If you do, go! Fabulous food plated in front of you by a killer staff. Better experience than French Laundry for less money - this is one of the places that makes Las Vegas a true food destination.

I’ve been dining here for a little over 10 years now. Not frequently, but any time I am going to be in Vegas I try to make sure and plan ahead to get reservations. Being a major foodie, I’ve eaten at many of the world’s “best of” restaurants and I have to say, I am impressed every single time I eat at E. The consistency in execution over the years, even with the changing staff, is just a testament to the vision and standards of ownership and management. Every single bite last night was exquisite! I will never get over the “wonder bread” course. The sweet potato gnocchi was a new course for me and it was as stellar as everything else. The wine pairings are also always on point! Many thanks to the staff and management for this, one of the worlds best dining experiences!

The creativity in each of the dishes is mind-blowing. Every bite makes you wonder what surprises are hidden in the flavors. The exclusive feeling, the social table-setting, the chefs displaying their work and explaining each dish, the flavors, the service all added up to a memorable night well worth the cost. Unlike other high-end set menu restaurants, you leave full and satisfied. Some of the dishes are "cocktails", so if you're not much of a drinker, you probably don't need to order a drink.

e' is a restaurant inside a restaurant. A small 9 seat enclave hidden inside Jose Andres' Jaleo at the Cosmopolitan. If you didn't know it was there, nobody would ever find it. It's essentially through the kitchen to a totally different dining room, which has a maximum of 9 seats with counter seating around the food prep area. The decorations are bizarre - said to represent the inside of Andres' mind. Our family of five had three shows the following three nights and we used the early seating at e' as a form of a fourth show - Food Theater. The kids loved it - loved the science behind it and two of the three kids tried everything (one ate every single thing). The third tried about 80% of the courses and was a committed diner! They said he (the 8 year old) was the youngest they've ever had there (hard to believe), but the kids are still talking about how cool and fun that was. e' is a real treat and I hope you visit - it's the epicenter of molecular gastronomy.

A true dining experience. Each plate was exquisite edible art. You have to book WAY in advance as they only have two seatings each night for 8 people per seating. But if you know you'll be in Vegas book it! It's not cheap $250/person. But worth it if you can afford it.

This place is an absolute gem. We enjoyed four of the seats at the 8 seat bar counter. The chefs were all very friendly and interactive. It was like enjoying a Broadway Play with this culinary artwork. 21 courses all fun, beautiful and highly flavorful, there was not one subpar dish. The beef cheek was probably my favorite. We also did the Spanish wine pairing with the meal everyone was pretty much toasted by the end of the meal as it started and ended with a gin and tonic as well. My wife was passing me most of her glasses by the second half of the meal. Definitely a must to add to your Las Vegas dining checklist. Be prepared to drop loads of cash, especially if you chose a wine paring, the reservation is prepay on Tock, think it was 275 per person.

This may be the best meal ever! I have eaten at the French Laundry in Yountville and E definitely rivals that experience. 21 courses, each one created to engage your sense of taste, sight, smell, texture and temperature. Jose's unique style and flavors are just the beginning when experiencing his dishes. I have never been so "engulfed" by so many different senses in a single sitting. There were so many excellent plates that it is hard to pick out favorites.... however his "peanut butter and jelly sandwich" was amazing. The "bread" was made of toasted meringue. Inside were sliced strawberries and a creamy pate de foie gras. The flavor was fantastic, but the crunchy meringue with creamy pate along with the fresh "pop" of the strawberries was just over the top. There were many other dishes that amazed our entire party.

Service was great! Friendly, super helpful & accomodating, made great drink recommendations ... They were the stars. For me, some dishes were wonderful! Others were alright but there were also a couple I felt were terrible. I went with work colleagues, so we occupied all 8 seats and that was GREAT!! Not sure I'd personally want to go as a couple & have this kind of experience with 6 strangers. I didn't realize how much duck would be served & wish I would have put that on my exclusion list. The chefs were wonderful about accommodating the request I did make. It was a fun experience but I wouldn't go again. For $300-400 per person, I'd rather other restaurants in Vegas since there are so many good choices.

The service is impeccable, very personal. The setting is incredibly exclusive, two chefs preparing food in front of you, being delivered in from the kitchen to the back of the room, incredible. The food itself is incredible foot art, we loved trying to figure out what was coming from the preparation in front of us. If you love food like this, you will love this place, the execution is perfect. I only gave it 4 stars because there was so much going on throughout the meal in terms of ingredients and flavors it was hard to keep up with what you were eating. Note: You need to book 3 months in advance via email. The actual process is available on their website.

Amazing meal and fantastic service. This was definitely a top 10 dining experience. Wine pairings were perfect and every bite was delicious!

We came by one evening for cocktails. Excellent special drinks. Did not have dinner here. Must watch costs somewhere. If budgeting, have a cocktail or two and an appetizer.

This was one of the most impressive dining experiences I have enjoyed. The question when you are spending this kind of $$$ on a meal is always do you leave feeling it was worth it. For my wife and I, there was no question this was worth every penny. Creative dishes that blow your mind. Unbelievable care and expertise by the chef staff. I was also extremely impressed by the service. It is tough to get michelin star worthy service in Vegas, but the service staff here has it down. This is a meal I will not forget, one of my three favorite dining experiences ever.

This was an interesting experience. What I liked about the dinner was the setting and watching chefs put together and plate a variety of obscure foods that I would never try if left to my own devices. What I did not like was when the waiter asked if anyone in the party would "mind" truffles with their meal. Of course everyone said no they would not mind but come to find out it is an additional $100 charge per person on top of an already incredibly hefty bill. With no wine pairings, my wife and I walked out of there with a $900 bill. Some of the food was good, some was not but nothing was fantastic.

I've hit up every celebrity chef and Jose lands in every city he's got properties. E was icing on the cake of a great trip. Such an interesting and fantastic experience with staff that were so into what they did. Worth every penny, Loved it!!!!!! I will go every year I go back from here on out.

Took family here for a special occasion and it was more than that. The food was beyond visually amazing. Flavors were interesting, and nothing I would really want 2nd of, but with so many courses, why would your stomach really want more! Was worth the 3 month wait. *:30pm seating was more like 9pm and a little late for such a mean. Recommend you book the earlier seating. The chefs and wait staff were outstanding.

E (pronounced "eh") caters to groups of 8 and takes u on a 21 course journey. Six chefs produced small delights through out the sitting that surprised and astounded ... from fairy floss empanadas to a toasted sandwich not made from bread ... I won't spoil it. The beef cheek melted and the jelly bombs burst. Oh and best crab ever. To have the chefs serving as well was a wonderful way to interact. The paired wines were excellent and pls don't spoil the food by pairing it with margaritas!

Was concerned that the evening would seem rushed with 22 courses and a 5.30 seating with a second seating to go. Pacing seemed appropriate and the evening was wonderful. Our fellow guests added to our enjoyment of the evening. Everyone was there to have a great time. By far the most expensive dinner for 2 we have ever had (almost $900 with wines and gratuities), but the show made it worth it. The chefs seamlessly presented the courses without anyone likely realizing that one of us did not eat seafood. Did I love every course? No. Did I love most of them? Absolutely. Chefs were completely approachable and I learned a great deal I hope to include in my own menus. Service was flawless as it should be at a place like this. Drink pairings were unique but perfect. As others have cautioned, keep in mind that 2 of the courses are also sangria and not all of the drink pairings are just wine.

Seating for 9. 5 chefs preparing each of the 21 courses. Each course was better that the prior course. Simply wonderful.

My sister and I went to E for the later show this past Sunday and we LOVED it! What a great experience. Every course was presented thoughtfully and creatively. We would definitely go back.

Went with my wife last week while in Vegas. I highly recommend it. IT's intimate with only 8 people total for each seating. The food is not only a show in it's preparation but it's taste as well. the sommelier as well as the head chef and other chef (woman from New Mexico) were extremely engaging. The only thing I don't recommend is the Platinum Wine pairing. The costs was an extra $500 per person, well over $1300 with included tip and tax, and I just was not impressed. I had done a high level tasting such as this before and found it much more impressive.

It is definitely a cool experience. We had nine people at our table and they were all very friendly. You get to know the other guests in the beginning as you sit outside waiting for everyone to turn up. As a previous reviewer said, go to the bathroom beforehand as the restrooms are outside, and you will miss part of the experience if you leave in the middle. It is an interesting concept; two main chefs are preparing the food in front of you, other chefs are moving around serving, and a sommelier. Pros: The food was super interesting, fun, and tasty. Think of a fois gras empanada, but the pastry is cotton candy! The staff are very friendly. Cons: Way too fast-paced - felt constantly rushed to finish the course (21 courses in 2 hours). If you hadn't finished the course, they just put the next one in front of you. We couldn't always hear what the actual course was as ppl were talking, there was music playing, the chef was quiet spoken. We weren't always sure if the paired wine was for just the one course or should be spread out over two/three courses. Recommendation to restaurant: Slow down the pace, let us enjoy and experience the taste and texture of the food. Stop the music each time your chef is going to explain the dish - this will encourage others to stop talking, and will bring the attention to the chef. Overall, it wasn't worth the cost.

What an incredible experience!! The food was phenomenal but, sharing an intimate space with the chefs preparing the food and talking to them made it even more fabulous. Loved Everything!

I guess the secret is out! This secret restaurant is not so secret anymore. I was lucky to get a dinner reservation here since the restaurant is so small, seats only 9 people. The price is about $200 base + extra for taxes and gratuity + extra for wine pairing. The dinner show was amazing, and the food absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommend!

We first dined at é in October 2012, and thought it was an incredible experience -- one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. Indeed, thought it was better than Minibar (José Andrés' "original" tiny restaurant) when we dined there the following February. But would it still be just as magical upon our second visit? Even more so! What can you say when high expectations are met and then exceeded? Not only does the food -- all 21 courses -- continue to delight and amaze, but the Chef de Partie, Renée Marquez was more warm, personable, and charming than her predecessor. She was as excited for us to be there as we were, and her friendly, charming, open attitude (along with the exceptional quality of the meal) made this visit even more memorable than our first! After our first visit, most of our friends thought we were crazy (well, some of them think that all the time), but now they all want to join us for our third visit! I keep telling them there are only 8 seats . . .

As many have noted, it is a unique dining experience filled with some amazing, creative dishes. Some of the dishes were delicious, but overall, I came away from it a little unsatisfied. When you're given 21 courses over the course of 2+ hours and spending close to 400 pp (after tax and tip), it should be a culinary journey that has a beginning, a climax, and an ending. I felt that the beginning and ending were nice, but the whole journey was a little scattered, and it didn't have a singular "wow" dish that I can say was the epic highlight. The chef told us that Jose Andres can be often found drinking his favorite gin and tonic while making paella when he is visiting. After hearing that, I was waiting for paella to be one of the 21 courses, but before I knew it, we were finishing up. The chefs and the waiters were great, although I found the hostess to be a little unfriendly. Overall, I'm happy I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant, and without a doubt, Jose Andres is an amazing chef. Do I think it was worth the effort to get the reservation and the money to have dinner here? Not sure about that... it is an impressive culinary experience for sure, but I don't think it was as amazing as I had hoped.

If you enjoy eating with all your senses - then you have to dine at e by Jose Andes. 20 plus course dinner that takes you on a dining journey that pairs elegant and simple dishes with touches of molecular gastronomy. All the dishes had a story and it was facinating to learn and interact with the Chefs preparing the dishes. The chocolate doughnut with foie gras is my favourite. I believe it's called Filipino. Receiiving the Golden tickets in the mail, Beautiful Chef's table setting, amazing Culinary, Sommelier and Service Team adds to this fabulous and whimsical experience. Thank you Chef - we will be back!

I believe it seats 9. 6 of us were joined by another couple for an entertaining eclectic avant-grade tasting menu of Spanish dishes you won’t find anywhere else. It is a small private room that used to be the wine room and looks like it was once part of a library. As you walk into Jaleo’s bustling bar and paella grill, you smell the various delicious aromas of the paella. Then dishes are quite delicious and we opted for the wine pairing menu ($150 for the cheapest option) but it is an extravagant tasting event with a similar price tag. It’s definitely a gourmet tasting menu and if you can afford it, it is worth trying. Now that I’ve done it. I probably would say once is enough though. Small dishes are meticulously plated in front of you and one starts to appreciate the artistry of fine dining chefs. They answered our questions, were friendly, very knowledgeable and entertaining. The sommelier was a nice touch and informed us about the wine selections. The food was really delicious and I tried foods that I never would have ordered on my own. The crab, the fish, and the beef cheek and potatoes stood out. The faux gras and black truffle were great dishes I would never have tried otherwise. The menu is fairly consistent, but they will substitute in and out certain dishes. Overall it was very expensive but a great dining experience

This is our second time to e and it is just spectacular. I am a rather particular person when it comes to fine dining and this is at the top of the tree. Do yourself a favour and go there.

Still one of the best dining experiences out there. Quality of food and friendly and attentive staff are second to none. It is so hard to get a ticket when they only seat 9. Coming from the East Coast, we plan well in advance. They were able to accommodate a person with Celiac as well as another food allergy. Wine Som is knowledgeable and engaging. The only criticism is that the menu does not vary much. Two of our party of 4 had dined there approximately three years ago. Out of the 20+/- dishes which were served, only 3 to 4 were different. We were told that Chef only changes a dish when he finds something better to replace it with. While that may be true, a little more variety would make being a repeat diner more interesting. For the two of our party who were first timers at E, they thought it was one of the best dining experience they ever had.

I made reservations for my husband and I. It was his 40th Birthday and I wanted a special dining experience. This is exactly what I received. The E’ staff were fun, open to questions, and unassuming. The food was excitement in many small bite size packages. It did not seem like we ate a large quantity of food, but I was not hungry again for hours afterward. I would absolutely do this again.

Hidden in a small room in the back of Jaleo at the Cosmo in Las Vegas is one of the most exclusive dining rooms in town, limited to a seating of 14 people. Diners sit around the kitchen while Jose Andres' chefs prepare an absolutely unique multi-course meal of molecular gastronomy dishes unlike any you would see anywhere else. Although each meticulously prepared dish consists of only one or two bites, we did not leave hungry at the end of our meal. Many of the dishes are described in detail in other reviews, so I won't repeat them here. But if you love unique dining experiences, it is well worth the effort to get a reservation here. We had our anniversary dinner here and it was one of the best meals that we have ever had. Also be sure to include the wine paring.

How does this tiny restaurant not have 3 Michelin stars? I do not know. I was just blown away. About 90% of the 20 odd dishes were incredible. I did not expect the molecular gastronomy techniques to yield such wonderful tastes. I expected beautiful. I expected mind-boggling food magic. But what really put them over the top was simply how delicious everything was. Of course it did not hurt that they liberally shaved white Alba truffles on several dishes. Or that Wagyu ribeye was on one. Similar to Atera in Tribeca, but more interesting molecular gastronomy. And more luxury ingredients. Loved it!

A beautiful evening made special by the preparation of your food in front of you and the chefs explaining everything and being so open to questions and taking with you. Drink pairing recommended as well. An experience never to forget!

What is there not to say about a restaurant that serves 21 courses over a 2 hour period. Gluttony....hardly. They are measured and complimentary. A burst of flavor, a mouthful of Sangria that melts in the mouth from a molecular sphere, the best Wagyu I've ever had, deserts that are to die for. I first went there 2 years ago and returned for my 50'th special meal. Truly a restaurant of refined flavor enveloped in a velvet glove that e plods like a sledgehammer once in your mouth. Kudos to the chef and his staff on the night Any time we're in Vegas we will go there

You can't go wrong. We went for my birthday dinner and had no idea what to expect. The staff is incredible and the food is even better. I highly suggest you add the pairings. The chef's choice pairings were great. This experience is unlike any other I've had. We will be back!

Wow! I was able to book a seat on August 18, 2017 during a trip to Las Vegas. It was a complete experience; culinary education, entertainment, and mindblowing tastes. The 2.5 hours flew by and I left satisfied and happy! Expensvie, yes. But I can't imagine a better way to spend 2.5 hours.

Instead of going to see a Vegas show in VIP seats, come to this hidden restaurant and participate in a food show that you can eat. It is an investment, but everyone in my party (husband, son (12 year old), mom (70 year old)) agreed it was a once in a lifetime experience. It is 21 courses and they constantly surprise you amazing bites and delightful presentations. You will take more pictures in 2.5 hours than you do at your kid's talent show. It changed how I think about certain types of food (e.g. crab) and left us with great memories. The time flew by and my only regret is that it felt a bit rushed. They give you alot to process - mentally, visually, gustatorially - and I for one needed a bit more time to savor. We had the 5:30 pm seating and it may be better for the 8:30 pm. If you are into wine spring for one of the pairings (there were three levels) for sure.

Top marks for this one. Prepared and served right in front of you as 10 (strangers) sat in a semi-circle round the chefs, highly engaging and fun although 24 courses was a bridge too far but jet lag not the food was to blame. Forget the bigger names in Vegas this is the star dinning event there, but its expensive especially if you get the paring wines. Some very ingenious dishes and exquisite presentation right in front of you

I arrived having read every review on Trip Advisor. Yes, there are 24-26 courses and yes they do change out over 1/3 of the menu ever three months. The rarely mentioned price at the time of this review is $195 per person. Drinks are not included. There are three levels of wine service, a basic, mid range and a global selection. the best for the money is the mid range at $150 per person. These are not short pours, and they are top quality wines that are extremely well paired for the foods being presented. The check in location is Jaleo, which is found on the third floor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino. I'm not going to repeat all the things that others have said, except to say that this is a show, a presentation, put on by three top level chefs, to serve eight or nine people. To tell you what the menu I had was would be like saying how the magician actually did the trick, and that cheapens the experience. The chefs showed off there skills at molecular gastronomy, and plating was beautiful and creative enough, I even broke down and actually took pictures of the food. (Something I rarely ever do.) There is no need to take notes, you will get a complementary copy of the menu before you leave. However be prepared, if you get the wine with dinner, you could easily consume three to four glasses (not short pours!) before the evening is over. Well worth the culinary experience and Jose Andres and his staff did a wonderful job showcasing the different varieties of flavors found in Spain.

My wife and I visited é for our 14-th wedding anniversary (14 is the foie gras year, right?!) and it was an amazing experience. Across the board, the dishes were great: some were excellent, some were good, one was just okay in my opinion. And two were mind-blowing -- without giving too much away, the empanada was totally unique and delicious. I did the "Tastes of Spain" wine pairing which was spot-on. My wife had a couple non-alcoholic drinks, including an amazing (non)gin and tonic using Seedlip distilled N.A. spirit. The sommelier Rob was outstanding and took great care of us. This is an expensive venture, but it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing for us and we loved it.

This dining experience deserves more than 5 stars. The food was beautiful, delicious, surprising and interesting. The wait staff was beyond attentive and the dining space was beautiful.

It was that good! Each course was better than the last. The creativity was off the scale! I finally had to stop trying to remember what the food was but just enjoy the sensual pleasure of the offerings. Highly recommend this experience!

Went for special occasion supper. Did the wine pairing (middle grouping). Food was phenomenal, wine and sommelier off the charts. Have done tasting menus before and nothing has come close. In LV best one ever done. I will admit the cons...the wine was awesome but overpriced (more expensive then supper). The beverage service is very generous. Translation your going to be topped up. The pairings were great. The food itself was awesome. Ate things I never would have imagined. Staff was friendly and would engage. Small seating but honestly didn’t really notice the rest of the table. Wouldn’t be one that I would go back to each week as I understand they only change the menu every 9 months. But I would go back, Maybe no wine pairings next time though. Ps. The gin and tonic was the best I’ve ever had. Too bad this was my first night in LV. As you’ll see Ramsey was the next night. Guess I had the bookends. If you can afford to go. If you can’t. Save so you can.

We are always on the lookout for the special gems and unfortunately this was a bit of a disappointment. The atmosphere was intimate and the service was impeccable but the food was mediocre. Out of 21 dishes I'd say 5 were fantastic.... For the amount of money we paid there are a lot better choices in Vegas.

We booked the special dining experience for 8 of us for my husband birthday, the food was absolutely amazing, staff fantastic, the only downside of the evening was that 2 of our party (one being my husband) became very ill before we went and left us to go as a group of 4, I emailed the restaurant and was fully aware that we would still have to pay for them as the table is for 8 people in a private kitchen.. When we got there we found ourselves sharing the private table with 2 other couples, clearly they had managed to fill the spare seats. Which I thought was great, sadly though we were still charged for my husband and my sister in law. We were offered a free meal if we went back, but coming from England it was obvious that wasn't going to be happening soon. Such a shame as we had a fantastic evening until we realised we had been made fools of.

We were looking for great food for our first trip to Vegas and this was exceptional. The presentation and service was so thoughtful. In our seating, there were multiple dietary restrictions that were dealt with well. My husband doesn't drink and they offered to create some incredible NA beverages during the evening, and they subbed out the alcoholic components in some of the courses themselves. The food was so interesting, flavorful, and fun. We had the 8:30 seating but didn't get into the room until 9 or so (they seat you otuside presumably while the first seating is finishing) and were there for about 3 hours after that. I did the Spanish wine tasting and it was very nice and spaced out to match a few courses per pour (7 total).

E' was one of the best food experiences we have had. Jose has really done an excellent job with this small venue with only 2 seatings per night - 5:30 and 8:30 with a special reservation in advance. Very exciting to sit up close and personal with the 4 chefs preparing each course while telling us about the dish. Each chef was amazing, talented, fun. Great wine pairing with a fabulous sommelier - I forget her name but she was awesome. My husband paid the wine pairing but I chose 1 white and 1 red as we were flying out the next day. I believe we paid $250 ea for dinner, 21 courses, beautifully displayed and all bursting with flavor. (e' is located inside his Paleo Restaurant - which I hear is very good - large Paella pans cooking up great flavors.

I'll start by saying I've visited quite a few Jose Andres' restaurants and all of them have been over the top delicious and great. This however is more about the experience than food. It is a dining experience I can guarantee you have never had, and never will have unless you visit this restaurant. Be aware there are going to be some dishes you don't like ( there are 26 mini courses ), but save room for the ones you do like because I promise you they will come. The chefs, the presentation, the dining room, and the whole experience are over the top and amazing. I couldn't recommend this any more. Go, you won't be disappointed.

A seat at the "bar" with 8 other enjoying every bite of the menu. So lucky that i got a spot as normal one needs to make reservation way in advance. There is a reason why Jose is the finest chef in this world. Every dish magical and a surprise with the play of the flavors. Great wines like the unico , or d'Yquem in the wine pack. If you like food this is not a question it is a must.

From waiting for reservations to be available 90 days out, to receiving your golden tickets, to arriving at reception desk, the experience in the mind of José Andrés is not to be missed. The service is impeccable. Nothing is overdone or missing. The food is sublime. And no, you won’t walk away hungry. We did the basic wine pairing, and photos of each wine are attached. It was perfect. Sometimes I feel like there is too much wine, and you are drinking more than eating, but the wine service here was on pace. I should also mention they were able to easily handle a walnut sensitivity and called after I placed my reservations to confirm the limitations. I won’t give too many spoilers on the food – but photos and a “menu” are attached. I enjoyed every course. Some of course, more than the others, but each was unexpected in it’s own way. Go, enjoy! Money well spent.

Amazing quality food served at E. The waiters/waitresses knew the menu inside out and made perfect recommendations after asking about my food preferences. Everyone should try E at least once.

Amazing and inventive food. So entertaining, great setting. Set in a small back room at Jaleo, it is supposed to be like being in Jose Andres's mind. You get to watch the chefs prepare this unexpected, visually and texturally interesting food. Truly unique. You'll need to make reservation well in advance, but if you missed the initial reservation window, don't give up. There is a wait list and that is how we got in.

We were lucky enough to secure a fairly last minute (two weeks) reservation through a concierge. The experience starts with a quick sit down to review drink options in the Jaleo area. There you start meeting the other diners for the evening. We had a fun crowd that included several foodies like us which I imagine is fairly common. We selected the wine pairing to get the full experience and we were not disappointed. Once we stepped in to the private room the journey began. Each course and plating was finished off right in front of us allowing us to feel like we were in the middle of the action. The food was amazing and I'll let other reviewers expand on it but the most surprising thing was how how full we were after only half way through the 20 courses. Bring an appetite and savor the taste. It really is beyond a meal and worth the experience. What better place than Vegas to do it?

My husband and I are always looking for unique culinary experiences. We have traveled to wonderful cities with amazing choices and this was by far one of the best. We loved not knowing what was coming next, the thrill of adventure, the surprise in a bite, and the camaraderie of our small unexpected group of new friends. Did we absolutely love the taste of every single dish? No, and did not expect to. These dishes are intended to be flavorful, intriguing and unexpected. Every single one met those expectations and were a complete joy, while I craved a second taste across the vast majority. I particularly loved how they led you down one path visually, only to take you down a completely different one with your taste buds (a donut that's foie gras???). And both the wine pairing and the service made the overall experience truly extraordinary. With sincere gratitude I thank the team who shared their talent with us.

What an experience. The food, the service, the ambiance - perfection! Every innovative dish was painstakingly prepared and absolutely scrumptious. The staff members outnumbered the guests and were so personable and passionate about their craft. Don’t miss the wine pairings - such a wonderful addition to the meal and the sommelier was a star. The meal was worth every single penny and it’s one I will never forget.

Having been to some of the better Michelin starred restaurants in the world, my expectations were quite high. However, this restaurant, whilst I would say is good, but for the price and hype, is underwhelming. To start of with, the food was above average, yes, but not quite what one expects from an avant garde restaurant which has received rave reviews and is reputed to be one of the best in Vegas. Some dishes to note: First of, was served the edible sangria which was - texture wise, spongy and was supposed to taste of sangria, but anyone who has been to Spain and drank real sangria will tell you, it does not come close. The idea was there, but in terms of execution, it did not work. 2nd dish - cotton candy 2.0 - basically a cotton candy empanada with foie gras filling. This dish felt a bit unbalanced to me as the cotton candy was extremely sweet and the foie gras too rich. 3rd dish - Daisy - this dish was totally unmemorable 4th dish - Beet-kini - Quite a clever dish, crispy beetroot sandwiching a cheese filling. Once again, quite an unbalanced dish. All I could taste was the cheese. 5th dish - Coca de recapte - essentially a ham and cheese sandwich. I was told it was jamon iberico bits but honestly, as it was overwhelmed by the taste of the cheese, I couldn't tell. 6th dish - "Marienda" - One of the better dishes of the night. Olive, red pepper and eggplant paste on a filo pastry. I liked the balance and the flavours of this dish. 7th dish - Oyster and Oyster - My favourite dish of the night. A smoked Kumamoto oyster and chicken oyster on crispy chicken skin. Just to give an idea of the type of food to expect, three out of 13 dishes had some ham and cheese element to it and 6 out of 13 thirteen dishes (including desserts) were sweet. I was actually quite surprised by some of the dishes presented as it was not balanced. Without trying to sound like Goldilocks, it was either too sweet or too salty. All in all, this was a hit and miss experience for me, with more misses than hits. A plus is that this restaurant has a fantastic sherry list! P.S : It is $200 per person for the degustation menu excluding tips, taxes and drinks.

Sublime gastronomic experience to be enjoyed by genuine foodies. Do go if you genuinely enjoy all textures and flavours. I would go back. Yes it's terribly expensive but worth every cent. It's not for those who are picky eaters though as the food served is very diverse.

On our girls only trip to Vegas this past weekend, we dined at E by Jose Andres. As someone who has food allergies (not your typical ones), the staff at E rearranged my whole 20+ course menu to accommodate me and we were very very impressed. They took it very seriously and everything was spot on. I could not be more grateful for the attention that they gave us and the time they put into preparing this especially for me. Thank You so much. The staff was very pleasant, the food amazing…..really nothing bad to say about our experience. Eating here is like watching a show of food and then getting to enjoy it, as well. It was a dining experience my girlfriends and I will never forget.

Went last year and was very excited by all the hype. Im not new to this style of dining having been to Atera and Blanca in NYC several times and was excited to see the Vegas version. While everything was very tasty i think the pacing of the meal was a bit rushed and nothing they served was really all that modern or inspiring. That said it was a lot of fun and a few of the courses were truly outstanding. Especially a crab broth served in its shell and a foie gras and apple "sandwich" with light meringue for the bread. I like to smoke in between courses so i wasn't a huge fan of thew fast pace of the meal but thats just my preference. All in all this is one of the best options for a really good, fun meal in Vegas, but if you prefer a more traditional fine dining experience your better off with Robuchon or Guy Savoy in a similar price point.

I had high expectations given the price point and chef, but they were only exceeded. It was like an awkward first date in the beginning; you’re not sure what to think of the differentness and atmosphere. Give it a minute... and you realize the passion that went into the menu and presentation. The staff are just at the top of their game and you can’t help but start to speak up and ask questions about the presentation. It’s an experience not to be missed!

Reservations are accepted 1 month in advanced via email, but if you are lucky, like me, you can snag a last minute reservation if someone cancels- call the concierge. Most creative and fun dining expired ever!! Compares to an Omakase. I don't eant to reval too many details; the unexpected parts were the best! I highly recommend the wine pairing. Great selection of wines I have not tried before and you get many generous pours for the price.

This was a true dining experience. Four chefs preparing and plating all sorts of interesting dishes for our small group of three couples. If you are looking for a memorable culinary experience to celebrate a special occasion while in Vegas, this is it. There were over 20 courses and not one I didn't like, though a couple where definitely less memorable than others. Watching the chefs and listening to explanations of the molecular gastronomy techniques they were using and the food origins was quite interesting. Service was also strong and drinks were flowing. If you are a fan of shaved truffle, you will not be disappointed!

While in Las Vegas we dined at e. The process of obtaining reservation requires emailing the restaurant 90 days in advance as they only seat 8 people at two seatings. We enjoy culinary experiences and thought this would be more along the lines of Alinea but it really wasn't. However, it was a wonderful journey of 22 courses through the mind of Jose Andres. The flavors were quite intense and the presentations unique. The bill was $2000 for the five of us, I certainly feel the total experience; food, service, and presentation was well worth it! As a bonus, we were fortunate to share the evening with a delightful family from Missouri! Highly recommended!!

His restaurants always have something to say omg that's amazing well presented, perfect taste, colorful dishes and gourmet. Cant complaint at all.

When planning our trip to Las Vegas we knew we wanted to do a tasting menu. The list was narrowed down to the restaurants bearing the name of Jose Andres or Joel Robuchon. Jose won out and we were not disappointed at e by Jose Andres. We had reservations for the 8:30 seating. We were taken to a table to wait for the rest of the people with reservations. This is where we were given our golden tickets. The staff was very attentive from the moment we arrived. They also did a great job of contacting you by email about a week prior to check for food allergies and to ask if any special occasions were being celebrated. We were given our choice of water (still or sparkling) and a glass of wine while we waited. Once everyone arrived we were ushered to our private dining room, that seats nine. The food was unbelievable. We tried counting the courses but become so engrossed in the food that we lost count. The staff was engaging. They explained what we were eating, how to eat it, and answered any questions. Everything is paid for in advance so there is no bill at the end unless you add the wine pairing or order drinks from the menu. A variety of gin and tonic drinks are offered as Mr. Andres has an affinity for a good gin and tonic. A person seating next to me ordered one and said it was the best gin and tonic ever. My advice to getting a reservation is to sign up for email notifications when reservation dates are released three months in advance. If you plan on dining alone, you may be able to get a last minute reservation This is how one of the persons got a reservation.

Excellent culinary adventure for all the foodies out there! Everything I had was very good. My favorite, the cotton candy foie, the bean soup, and the iberico bun were also very good. Portions are small.

THe artistry, technique, and service are unparalleled in my experience. Simply an amazing foodie event. Every step of our interaction with this restaurant was first class. They handled one of my party's aversion to meat discreetly, and she was not disappointed with her substitutions. While the restaurant seats 9, there is about a 1 - 1 ratio of guests to service personnel, the most customized and smooth service I have received. We chose a wine pairing, and it was creative and a nice accompaniment to the meal, we chose the least expensive, and we never felt substandard. Treat yourself, this is worth every penny.

One of my top 5 dining experiences of all time. 21 courses without over indulgence. The premium wine pairing package definitely worth the investment, as their selections were totally on point. This is an expensive evening, but worth every penny.

É by José Andres was an awesome time. The overall experience was definitely something to behold. Ambiance: the little top off of the main dining room in Jaleo is quaint, has great decor and is pleasantly quiet in an all too noisy Las Vegas. Service: while our initial "host" Brian left something to be desired, the remaining tram members more than made up for his initial lack of attention and care. The Chefs (Roadie, Ivan, Eric and Nicolas) were great about sharing their process and inspirations. Food: the food was great! I'm not a huge foie gras fan (just a tad too rich for me) and the meal was definitely foie gras heavy, but, it was still excellent. Creative does not begin to describe the experience. If you're willing to drop a chunk of change for a great experience... This is definitely the place to go.

My one splurge meal, and I made it by the skin of my teeth - reservations are made by email only to reserve@ebyjoseandres.com, with dates opening three months in advance. Seatings are available Wednesday through Sunday at 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM, for a maximum of 8 guests. An unpublished multi-course meal is served for $195 per person, with adjustments made for allergies. I was not the only diner who lucked out in making a last minute reservation that night. We obediently arrived at Jaleo 15 minutes in advance of our reservation and were each asked regarding our drink choices, and the optional truffle supplement. Once we were led to the private room in the back of Jaleo, the dinner show began, as our meal was put together course by course before our very eyes. Dish after dish was painstakingly prepared, and then all too quickly consumed by the eager diners. I wonder if the chefs were entertained by the conversations of their guests as they worked hard at preparing our dinner. A grand time was had.

Dinner at E was the main part of my Vegas birthday trip extravaganza and it didn't let us down. It offers something genuinely different - an intimate setting with just 9 guests around the table who get a close-up view of the intricate plating of some 22 different dishes. Of course most of these are small bites and so we didn't come out feeling as bloated as we normally do from American restaurants. The dishes tend to be very experimental and inevitably you will like some more than others - but sometimes the ones that sound really out there like the foie gras and strawberry meringue sandwich deliver the most. (NB foie gras does feature quite heavily, but they are very good at offering alternatives if it's not your bag) Some reviews have complained about feeling rushed. The food and wine do come thick and fast and sharing the wine pairings is definitely recommended if you're not a hardened drinker. (There's also fresh coffee with the desserts and a delicious gin and tonic to finish.) However the whirlwind of activity is part of the experience - this is dining reimagined as pure theatre and is a wonderful and unique way to enjoy a meal.

Wow, this was such an amazing experience! i love how its so exclusive and very hidden. The chef and waiters were so professional and explained each step and element of how each dish was made which was quite interesting. The food are quite small portioned but very filling, each dish was very creative and im the biggest foodie. I would love to come back but its very difficult to get a reservation you need at least 3 months advance

Went here with a buddy for the seating of 8. Was a great experience. Neither of us were drinkers, so we didn't sample from their wine list. However the food was top notch. Everything was presented beautifully, and everything tasted great. The chefs involved did a great job explaining each of the 23 small bites that were a part of the experience. While it would be too time consuming to list the various dishes, not to mention it would eliminate some of the mystery. There was nothing that didn't taste good. Each dish was an experience that we savoured. We also arrived a little early, and while waiting for our seating, decided to sample the main restaurants take on Bruschetta, which was out of this world. By far the best Bruschetta I've ever had. The next time my buddy comes into town for a vist, we will try another Jose Andres restaurant for comparison. If it's anything like E was, it will be a great time.

Apart from the restaurant being a happening place, and great service, great wine list, the food was AMAZING !!!!!

this was a dining experience unlike anything else! the visual presentations were as much of the dinner as the food. having the dishes finished in front of us as the chef explained what inspired the dish was a great element to the evening.

One of my favourite restaurant experiences ever. I've done several degustation dinners in highly rated restaurants (e.g. The Fat Duck, Noma) but the unique thing about E is the way that they make the dinner a performance. Some of the food prep and all of the plating is done in front of you - I found this fascinating to watch. They encouraged us to get involved and ask questions along the way, so that we were able to learn more about the processes behind the food. The chefs were really approachable and friendly and obviously great at what they do. The food itself was fantastic and not overly highbrow. The dishes were quite inventive and had some interesting flavour combinations that really worked. I loved that, even though it is a fairly exclusive experience (with max 8 diners in a special room), it didn't feel pretentious or snobbish. They managed to maintain that feeling of specialness and exclusivity, while at the same time having down-to-earth staff and food that didn't feel too fancy for its own good. I loved it when they encouraged us to lift our soup bowls and drink the rest of the soup straight from the bowl! Of course it was an expensive meal, but I thought compared to some other high-end restaurants it was reasonably priced ($195pp for 20-course degustation meal). There were some pretty expensive drinks pairing options, but we opted for sparkling wines by the glass which were quite reasonably priced and were really nice. Reservations open 3 months in advance and are by email only. I emailed about 1 month ahead and got a reservation easily (mid-week, in November, to be fair). The reservation process was quite easy and they responded to emails very promptly. Highly recommended. I would go again.

My wife and I started the 10th year anniversary celebration there at é. Great experience and superbly refined cuisine. Service was great and experience to try. Food was great as well, however it is seating almost like family style to share with the other guests in the private room. Maybe better if you can secure the entire room for your private party. Our guests were really nice and shared the fun experience with us. We were anticipating some 1:1 time though.

Fantastic experience and so many dishes I'm still dreaming of! The candy floss foie gras was delicious. If you have the chance, go!

The service was impeccable, the chefs (and there were more of them than patrons) enthusiastic, and the atmosphere older but chic. If you are into food, and foodie meals, then it's worth it. Obviously on the pricey side, but the experience was fun and entertaining and the staff was excited to be there so that helped. They were excited about making and serving the dishes and you could see and taste the enthusiasm and attention to detail. The food was so unique. The flavors bursting in our mouths, and we could really taste what was described. The presentation was awesome as well. All in all it was well worth it for the experience. Only knock would be (besides the price) was that if I hadn't know what I was a bout to eat it wouldn't be as amazing. The dishes were so unique that its hard to compare to anything I've had before but the dishes that did have "everyday" foods, we great and special but certainly not the best shrimp or steak I ever tasted. Oh, and the wine pairing was exquisite as well. We don't venture to Spanish wines too much, so it was fun and they paired absolutely amazingly well. That certainly enhanced the experience as well. Would definitely go back, maybe once every few years.

What an amazing experience. From start to finish we were treated like royalty and the food was over the top (pricey…but totally worth it). We ate here once before and it was equally amazing. Highly recommend this experience

Met a great group in the private room. Amazing food interpretations and presentation flare to match. The seating takes time and you should enjoy it as an experience on its own.

This place is awesome. All the food is well thought out and truly an experience. I loved everything and despite the small plates, I left full. The chefs prepare the food in front of you. They could do a better job explaining the dishes. The sommelier is awesome and knowledgeable. Does not disappoint- if you have the chance to go here- definitely go

Jose Andres' creativity at its best. A simply unique and wonderful dining experience. You are seated in this small, cozy food theater with 8 other guests maximum. Then a whole culinary team prepare 21 fantastic small courses for you. The food is amazing, but, it is not only about the food. It's a theatric experience as well. The best comparisons and frame of reference are Alinea and Gaggan. Kudos to the entire team who excelled at making this a memorable experience. My only negative (and this is said in relative terms): the wine pairing is extremely expensive. Three options are offered: a Spanish wine pairing at $150/person, a Jose Andres' favorites pairing at $300/person, and an international wine pairing at $500/person. I appreciate that they offer options, but, choose the top wine pairing, and with dinner, tip, and taxes you are looking at spending close to a Grand per person. All in all, one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas, along with Joel Robuchon. Highly recommended.

19 courses of amazement with a golden ticket to boot (you receive a Willy Wonka type of ticket in the mail) – this culinary experience is not to be missed. I’ve been to places like French Laundry and Providence in LA and this experience is right up there. It’s a unique experience with about 6-7 other people, so be prepared to either be social with strangers (as you all sit at the same table), or perhaps try to go with a group. We didn’t do a wine pairing. The food was phenomenal and the presentation was pretty epic. I am not going to go through all 19 courses as I don’t see the point as the menu changes. You leave this place not feeling over full (like you can with French Laundry), but content. The evening consists of a head chef and some helpers. The chef explains what they are serving and the others help them prepare it. Then, they present the food to you all at the same time (note: they don’t actually cook any food in front of you, it gets cooked in their main kitchen, they just put it all together). You’re free to ask questions as they prepare the food and make comments. This is definitely an “intimate” dining experience which would be wonderful to do with a group of close friends. I recommend the later seating because if you go with the first one, then there would be more pressure to be done by 8 for the next group. In total, we were there for about 4 hours. Reservations are required exactly 3 months from the date you wish to go.

One of the most unique dining experiences I have had the opportunity to enjoy. From the mysterious reservation process to the golden tickets for entry, every detail was an adventure. The tasting room itself was bar style, so all the prep was done a surface right in front of the diners. Each course was impeccably planned and prepared. Beautiful colors, textures and presentation. Chef and his assistants as well as our host and sommelier were approachable and accommodating. Over the 20 courses, we were taken on a culinary adventure that involved truly unique preparations. Standouts included the Spanish Pizza, Iberico, Platija, Dungeness Crab and the "empanada" made of cotton candy and corn nuts. The entire experience lasted almost 2.5 hours and was worth the cost of "admission."

great experience from the moment you arrive there enjoy some dishes more than the others but you get 22 different plates so you always leave satisfied make sure you let them know ahead of time about your allergies or dislikes because they can customize the food for you it was an amazing shoe to watch them assemble the food and reve it a must while in vegas

What a fun and tasty experience! After 2 hours and 21 courses, accompanied by very nice wine pairings, this is an evening I will long remember. The small seating of 10 and very engaging chefs made for some very interesting interaction.

We had an early (5:30) seating at E by Jose Andres just before Christmas, along with seven other guests. E is a private room within the larger Jaleo Restaurant; we came early and were seated at a "holding" table at Jaleo, where I had time to peruse the wine menu. I chose the Spanish wine pairing, although one can choose other wine pairings, select from the wine menu (including by the glass), or skip drinks. All the guests arrived by 5:30, we were escorted into the E private dining room, and seated around a crescent table facing the chefs and their prep table. The chefs prepared 21 small dishes, and almost all had the "wow" factor. There was only one (the "Stone") that had us hoping for a bit more. All the other dishes elicited words of "amazing", "even more amazing", "mmmmm", etc. The flavor combinations and explosions of the Asparagus dish, Wonder Bread, Live Scallop, Empanada, Walnuts Four Ways, and all the others were magical. The wine pairing worked quite well with our entire meal. I was told that the menu changes every quarter, so I look forward to another special meal here in the future.

I had wanted to try this experience for a while and was finally able to do so - I guess my excited anticipation outweighed the actual experience. For one thing I thought the chef would actually be there. For the price you think he would be but he was not and were never told this information. Second the sous chefs that were there did not really explain the food, what you were eating or how it was prepared or why. I wanted to take my husband as a surprise for his Christmas gift but could have way better food and service at almost any other nice restaurant in Vegas. If you want to just blow money then please go and enjoy but if you want great food - this is not it. Unfortunately I have received better service, quality of food/with wine included, and experience for $99 on the Chef's table on a cheap Carnival cruise! The only good thing I can say about this meal was the iced tea was delicious and the server was fantastic! She was the only attentive one there!

Best restaurante , our experience was great. Thank you, had a memorable time. Food was incredible. Talented chef!

This was an experience to top all dining experiences I have ever had. The food presentation was out of this world. 37 hours of food prep and 9 servers took us through 21 courses, all impeccably presented with textures and flavours that were out of this world! I highly recommend this dining experience for anyone who appreciates food presentation, top notch service and amazing food flavours.

Outstanding experience, assuming you like this sort of thing. We had the wine flight…highly recommend as the sommelier provides extensive interesting intros to each wine to the group, so if you don’t partake you may feel left out. The wines were an excellent accompaniment to the meal.

great chefs table experience. great service and food. wine pairings are a must. have to reserve well in advance most of the time.

What an experience! The very private 8 person dining (really "entertainment") space was really neat. Having all the various chefs involved in the preparation and plating right in front of you, hearing them describe the prep, the components, the flavors, the rationale, ... it was all so enlightening and exciting. We enjoyed all 21 courses of awesomeness. This experience definitely makes us consider looking into more "chefs / kitchen table" type experiences. This has to be pretty unique to e though, in having part of the kitchen experience and part of a private dining room. When we received the "gold ticket", we thought we were in for a big night. The only downside comments I have is that each course was slightly rushed into the next. Another couple minutes between would obviously make the duration that much longer with 21 courses, but it would give you a bit more time to really understand what you just had. I read a lot and was told by the restaurant to make sure to be 15 to 20 minutes early. Most notes said you would meet at a side table, meet the other guests, have the chance for a pre-drink, ... That all went as expected. Having spent $1000 on dinner and wine pairing though, I didn't expect to get a bill for another $66 for 2 drinks and 2 bottles of water. We would love the chance to do it all again though.

Small, intimate and amazing. Great for a special occasion if you're an adventurous foodie. If you're not, this would be wasted on you and you might not enjoy.

I had dinner here, 5:30pm seating, as part of a work dinner. I had never heard of it nor experienced anything like it. The service was excellent. Attentive staff, great recommendations & accompdated my specific preferences.

Hands down, dollar for dollar, bar none, the VERY WORST dining experience my wife and I have ever had. From the initial preliminary staging held in an incredibly loud public area at the fringe of Jaleo (where the push is to persuade you not only to order wine pairings but also to upsell you to "premium" or "platinum" wine packages, the latter at $500 per person) to the semi-private dinner "show" itself, the entire process was an exercise in incoherent pretension, with precious little in the way of actually good-tasting food, and scarcely more in terms of any real charm among the staff. In many ways it's the epitome of everything repugnant about Las Vegas with no redeeming quality, and the enormous tab merely adds final insult to culinary injury.

It’s a little difficult to define the dining experience at é by José Andrés. We had done many “Chef’s Tastings,” and at the “Chef’s Counter,” or “Chef’s Table,” but nothing quite like dining at é. We’ve done “conceptual dining,” at restaurants, such as Alinea (Chicago), and Binkley’s (Chef Kevin Binkley’s new restaurant in Phoenix), but our dining at é was a unique experience. I’ll try to provide enough details of that experience, but will likely fall short of capturing the evening. Actually, our “evening” began, well before we got to Las Vegas. I was able to secure reservations, for our chosen evening, and the meal was pre-paid. I had to determine which wine pairing we wanted to go with, and the reservations agent was very helpful, and knew the differences well. There were three to choose from, the “Premium,” the “Spanish,” and a “Reserve.” Prices escalated, and the Reserve pairing was quite tempting, even with its “extreme” price. We opted for one Premium, and one Spanish (as José Andrés is, after all, Spanish). Next, I was informed that we would soon receive our “Golden Tickets,” in the mail, and must present them at the door, to be admitted. Those arrived a few days later, in a black envelope, with a gold, hand-written address. Nice touch! Our Golden Tickets were stored, for the upcoming trip. Upon arrival, at Jaleo, in the lobby of the Cosmopolitan, we were seated at a long communal table, off to the side. This was a staging area for those dining at é for that seating. We started off with a Bodega Emilio Lustau Palo Cortado Sherry, while waiting for all to arrive. We introduced ourselves to a family of three, who were already seating in the waiting area, and I sipped my Sherry, while the others began to arrive. Our seating was for 9, though usually 10 is the number. I had tried to add two friends, who had met us in Las Vegas, to dine at Sage, and at Joël Robuchon, the next two nights, but with only 1 seat available, that did not happen. When we were all present, we were led through the dining area at the more “casual,” and traditional Jaleo, to a room in the back. This smallish (though, in no way cramped) room, contained a prep/plating area, surrounded by a U-shaped counter. It became almost “theater in the round.” The é kitchen is through a door, and separate from the large, open kitchen in Jaleo. While we did not actually see this kitchen, most of the “show” was going to take place inside the U of the counter. Seating was well-spaced, and the stools comfortable. Now, remember, we were a group of 9, but I think that even with 10, the spacing would have been more than adequate. There was a lower section of counter, with 2 chairs, which was empty. My friends would have died to have been seated there, but 10 was the limit. Service was from two “fronts,” though one of those was from behind us – the wine service. Almost all of the many dishes came from the prep-area/mini-kitchen. Watching the parade of dishes coming from the separate kitchen, and then the plating, was like watching a ballet. Everything was choreographed beautifully. The servers (I think that there were 10, besides the sommeliers) kept up a friendly, and jovial banter, throughout the 21 courses – actually, I thought I had counted 23, but maybe I confused an amuse bouche for a “course?” Besides giving details about each dish, there was commentary on the history, and Chef Andrés’ philosophy, intent and thinking, when he conceptualized each – then a few running jokes about the actual plating. All great information, as well as a well-timed, humorous delivery. Those guys are good! I would list all of the dishes, and the two (for us) wines paired with each, but those will change. The dishes had names such as: Sangria, Beet Rose, Stone, Spanish Pizza, Miel Y Mato, and so on, so it will be up to the reader to match up the photos, for an idea of what constituted each dish. Each was lovely, and all very tasty, with some just rising above a few others – not a weak dish in the bunch. My wife has a bi-valve allergy (Oysters, Scallops, Mussels, Clams, etc.) and was accommodated very well. As she had the “Premium,” and I the “Spanish” wine pairing, the sommelier even structured her wine pairing for her exact dish. I also noticed two other diners received different dishes, to the rest of the group, but never asked why. I am sure that some allergy, or dislike was being accommodated there? I am not sure who had ordered what, concerning drinks, but it seemed that only 1, or 2 had gone with one of the wine pairings, based on watching the two sommeliers pour. It seemed that some might have gone with a bottle, or two, or maybe even B-T-G, but not from one of the pairings. Our wines were: [Spanish] De Nit Brut Rosé Raventós I Blanc ‘14 Conca La Goya Manzanilla NV Jerez Txomin Etxaniz ‘15 Txolina Vina Gravonia Crianza ‘06 Rioja El Castro De Valtuille ‘12 Bierzo Finca Dofi ‘12 Priorat Jorge Ordonez ‘14 Ron Cremat José’s Gin & Tonic [Premium] Manuel Raventós ‘08 Conca Manzanilla La Cigarrera Pasada NV Jerez Aires De Vendimia ‘14 Bierzo Vina Tondonia Lopez de Heredia ‘96 Rioja El Pecado Ribeira Sacra ‘14 Valbuena Vega Sicilia ‘10 Ribera del Duero Essencia Jorge Ordoñez ‘11 Málaga José’s Gin & Tonic I did not see the “Reserve List” of wines, and it is probably a good thing that I did not. At a price-point, beyond the cost of the meal, it would not have been for the “faint of heart,” and I was afraid that I would covet it so much, that I would mortgage my home, just to try it. As it was, our two pairings were excellent. The stemware was lovely, and varietally appropriate. The pours were perfect, and as several of these wines did cover multiple courses, we did get “topped up” a few times. Actually, some of the later ones, paired with but one course, seemed to be virtually “bottomless,” so I was glad that we were not walking, or driving back to our hotel. The sommeliers were excellent, spending just the right amount of time presenting each wine, and giving a few brief details about the varietal, the producer, the region/country and the philosophy of the pairing. Not too much, but enough to satisfy even me – an avowed “wine geek.” The pacing was perfect, but obviously a practiced art, in a controlled environment. The service was very friendly, and while efficient, the banter kept it light, and fun – a perfect blend of formalized + casual. One aspect of the evening, that kept surfacing was “whimsical,” starting with the artwork in the small dining room. One MUST look all around, and take in each piece. That carried over to the menu, itself, and then to the service. These folk took their role seriously, but themselves, not at all. There are two seatings only, 5:30pm and 8:30pm. We did the early seating, and it finished about 8:20. As we departed, I saw that the later dining group had already been assembled at the communal table in Jaleo. Not an inexpensive evening, but a unique one, which great food, great friendly service and wonderful wines. The “counter” is ideal, and adds just a bit to the concept of “casual.” Casual elegance would be my description of the entire evening. We WILL be back, and maybe I can cash in a few investments, and go for that Reserve wine pairing?

Know what you're getting into - this intimate experience is small bites tapas in unique preperations. One of the most pleasant suprises was that although the meal was higly technical in creation, the chefs made the meal a casual dialogue and it was very comfortable and fun thoughout. Some dishes are truly one of a kind, and others are perfect executions of high-end ingredients.

Watching this type of cooking on TV or hearing about 20 small dining plates where form rules over substance, I was apprehensive paying so much money for so little food BUT... it really was an experience. The 8 diners are seated with drinks before we enter the dining room, that was the only blip - why sit us in what was effectively, the hallway containing the hotel's restaurants? Once drinks were served, the party began with the olive crisp before we were guided to the dining room. It made sense to sit on high chairs to see the chefs in action but (another 'but'), it was a bar stool and something more elegant and comfortable would have been better. We had crab, foie gras, truffle, cava spheres, Iberico ham, beef cheeks etc etc. Apparently, one dish takes 7 hours to prepare and the beef was cooked for over 2 hours! Watching the 8 or so chefs working for us and the sommelier doing so well with the pairings, it was easy to see where the costs were. We were, after all, employing one chef each for over 2 hours! My favourite dish changed time after time, the creamy foie gras in a meringue sandwich was one highlight but the crab was so full of flavor, it had to be the winner; then again the sea urchin was fabulous... I was a little concerned to have a wine for each course but fortunately, this was not the case. Our cava lasted for the first 3 courses and other wines stretched across courses so we had enough without being so drunk to miss some of the evening. I might never get to the Fat Duck or El Bulli however I have managed E and very happy to have done it. Excellent food, great flavours and yes, I saw art in action.

Was really looking forward to this experience, we've done L'ateliar many times, the main Robuchon restaurant, Guy Savoy, etc so some baseline to draw from. Bottom line- worth a visit but not mind-blowingly good. My wife loved it but I thought the food flavors were sometimes bland or not especially memorable. Some dishes were of course very good. It was fun and different to have 3-5 chefs at any time working in front of us. The attending hostesses were GREAT! Very down to earth, informed and professional. Wines in the pairing were very different, very interesting and enjoyable. Nice to have it all pre-paid, including tax and tip. Again different, but I liked that aspect.

This was a fun busy restaurant. The food and service were excellent as was the wine list. The prices are HIGH mind you.

Interesting concept, truly hidden within another restaurant and hard to make reservation, a small restaurant focusing on Spanish cuisine with exciting dishes from the region, the service was impeccable, the food is truly delicious and designed to create a truly memorable experience, this restaurant is for the experienced foodies and not for the novice. Food is well prepared with an emphasis on freshness, execution and to the point. One of my greatest culinary experience on the strip.

We ate at many places while in Vegas but this was far and above the best. The food was amazing and one of a kind dishes. The presentation of each dish, the attention to detail, and the incredible work of every chef made this unique experience unforgettable. Main advice to diners is to get the wine pairing it made a difference in every thing we ate
A Must for Foodies
You come here for the experience and the food equally. The food is extremely high quality, meticulously prepared, well-thought out, and tastes fabulous. It's expensive, but you will have food that you will never forget. We really enjoyed how engaging the chefs were. That really added to the whole evening.
