Top Notch Delivery

By Kenneth L |

Our family loves this place ... you can do Chicago style or thin crust or what ever you want ... they can do. Chicken pesto is our fav but they can make it your way for sure. Even nicer they can deliver. Give it a try you will love it!

Yum!

This is classic New York Pizza. It is so good that this was all I craved while I was pregnant. My son grew up on ESP!

A Slice of a Restaurant

By Anne W |

I am writing this review based on the feedback I received from a couple who reside in Austin, Texas. My son also lived in Austin for 7 years and recommended this restaurant. I do not live in Austin, but I called and talked with a very nice young man named Brooks and explained that I would like to have food delivered to this couple for dinner in that they just had a baby and did not have any family there as of yet to help them. Brooks could not have been more accommodating! I ordered a 14" pizza, half sausage and half vegetarian, a couple of salads, some desserts and beverages. They were delivered on time and the couple told me that the food was absolutely delicious! If you peruse the menu online, you see that they offer all kinds of pizza, including vegan and gluten free options. It is thin crust and has different types of sauces and crusts as well as make your own pizzas with artisan or regular toppings. Both my son and this couple agree that their food is really good, and most importantly, the customer service is exemplary! If you are in Austin, I would definitely recommend dining here or ordering from here! There are two other locations, so wherever you are staying, I am sure that one of their locations would be near you. I know that if I ever am in Austin, this would be on my list of "go to" restaurants.

Cold Carryout

Great pizza but our pickup pepperoni and meatza pies were about room temperature. The black and white cookie is not worth the carbs. The pizza was absolutely delicious but they need to do a better job of keeping waiting orders warm.

Fair pizza

Good but not great when you're used to Chicago style pizza. Nice selection of pizzas. Two were just enough to feed five of us, maybe could have used more.

Best Slices Anywhere!

By Donna B |

The high quality ingredients used make for delicious slices with lots of fresh veggie choices and unique sauces.

This place is amazing

Been eating at ESP for years - get the Moontowner or the Olivia! Great selection of pizzas and toppings, unique vegetarian options like a green curry pie with red potato slices as well as a decent selection of Maine Root sodas.

Thin Crust Heaven!

By Bobby B |

I ordered 4 pizzas for a meeting, having never tried this place before. Much to my delight the menu had hundreds of choices, with some special combos to make ordering easy. They offered delivery so I took them up on that! The pizza was thin and gigantic! The edges were crispy and sauce was so yummy! I can't wait to go back to Austin to order from here again!

Delicious NY thin crust style pizza, made using fresh veggies and fresh roasted garlic!

By cemclellan |

Went here for a late lunch today, and ordered a Mundi. My wife wanted olives and artichokes on her half. They made a mistake and put the olives and artichokes on the entire pie, so they made a second pie that was a normal Mundi! We got 2 pies for the price of one! Delicious pies, NY thin crust style with tasty sauce. Real roasted garlic. Friendly and pleasant ordering, and fixed their mistake without and told us about it before the pies were done. Definitely high on our favorite pizza list. Lots of vegetarian options.

Yum

Eastside Pies (the one I visited is located on Anderson Lane) is simply one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The pizzas are prepared with fresh, delicious ingredients. And if thin crust is what you desire, their crust is wonderful. However you'll have to use both hands when you're handling a whole slice because the crust is not stiff and crunchy. The staff is super friendly and glad to see you when you arrive. I suggest you give them a shot.

Late lunch

Was great. Will be back tomorrow Kept it simple with a pepperoni pie and it was wonderful. The specialties looked quite good but we like simple. The cashier also offered up other local selections to try on our short visit.

Pricey food, dicey service

By Moved2Texas |

We visited East Side Pies because there was no line so we thought we would get through quickly. The people standing behind the counter did not offer to take our order so we used their automated screen to do so. It worked well enough until we tried to pay and it would not read our card. Watching the people prepare the pies was like watching paint dry. It took quite a while to put them together. Once we got them there was less food for more money. It tasted OK but was very thin and not too reasonable for what we got. I miss some of the old boring places vs. this trendy spot. Bring back Schlotzky's!

Great pizza with allergy options!

Love the pizza here, plus they offer gluten and dairy free options as well! One of my favorite pizza spots in Austin.

Just good pie

By MnM_Junkie |

Very good pizza. Crust is cooked to perfection. Thin, crispy and just the right amount of bite. Ingredients are good. They seem to lack some natural fat from the pepperoni, but still very good. If you want a pizza, it is worth the $$ for the pie. My only recommendation is to get some fat into the meatballs, but still tasty.

best pizza in Austin

This is a great new York style pizza . you can order by the slice or create your own. really good pizza

They know what you want

By Chris B |

I've tried East Side Pies several times, and each time I've tried something different. By different, I mean not your typical pepperoni and cheese pizza you could get anywhere. Instead, I branched out and tried "The Royal Blue" - Italian sausage, bacon, artichoke, roasted onions, and Gorgonzola. Why not? I didn't have a date that night, so make that extra Gorgonzola. What a meal! The next time, I tried "The Girther" - Gorgonzola, avocados, roasted onions, and bacon. Again, I did nothing but throughly enjoy myself. So, if you want to be adventurous and mix things up, this is the place. If you want something more traditional, well then, you're in luck - they have that, too. Either way, you're in for a treat.

Perfect Pizza - Fresh ingredients, thin crust, great sauce

This is one of the best pizzas I've had. Giant cloves of garlic dropped all over the top, fresh mushrooms and vegetables. Farm to table restaurant and you can tell by the taste. My favorite pizza in Austin by far.

Hotel Delivery Order

I googled pizza places nearby my hotel. Checked out there menu online after reading other reviews. I ordered the Duval and Greek salad. The pizza arrived prompt and hot. I loved the thin crispy crust. Lots !!!! of toppings. And the vinaigrette dressing was awesome.

Best Thin Crust Pizza since Italy!

By Denise A |

This was our first visit. The thin crust was as light as a feather. We had the traditional, pepperoni, Italian sausage and mushrooms. All the ingredients were fresh, loved the homemade Italian sausage. Another option they offer is pizza by the slice. Love that! I don't know of another pizza place that does that in Austin. They offer quite a selection of unique twists on their pizzas. Wished we lived closer to this restaurant. Great pizza, we will definitely be back! Try it, you'll love it!

BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA IN AUSTIN

By sheila f |

The service is on point and Eastside Pies has the best gluten free pizza in Austin. The pizza is a bit pricey, but it is always delicious, and EVERYTHING gluten free is pricey these days.

Great thin crust pizza

By Bruce G |

I love thin crust pizza. Eastside Pies does it right. The crust is very thin and the toppings are fresh and of very good quality. I had the Mizza, all meat, pizza. It was great. The meatballs that they put on the pizza are awesome. This is the type of pizza that you need to fold over your slice to eat. The price is more than what you would pay at a national chain but in my book it is well worth it.
