I went for cocktails here--great crowd and lively atmosphere. Can't wait for the rooftop to open!! Be back in November

I like the venue. It's quite lovely. The main dining spaces as well as the bar area in the back. The food was not as amazing as I would expect for the price but it was solid overall. The bar area is lovely for some HH drinks & snacks with friends.

I've been to Eberly a couple of times for cocktails, but earlier this week we stayed for dinner. They have a great selection of small plates and small, but interesting, selection of large plates. We had oysters, the mushroom pot pie, the pork chop and the small filet. It was all absolutely delicious and there are several things I'm looking forward to trying on my next visit.

nice restaurant - good food - BUT we got totally ripped off for a private event!! They charged us $325 per person ($6186 for 19 people!) and then we were even charged more at the bar although we still had over $1000 in food and beverage credit! They even charged us an extra $750 for the private room (The Study) because we used it from 6pm to 10pm instead of from 6pm to 9pm on a Thursday night! COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!

I've only had the chance to visit this place once and just the Cedar Tavern, but I absolutely fell in love with it. At first, I was a little skeptical of this place as it seemed like just another pretentious hipster hangout (Austin is saturated with those, sadly). But when I read about the Cedar Tavern bar, I decided to give it a shot. It did not disappoint! To add a little background, the Cedar Tavern houses the actual bar from The Cedar Tavern of Greenwich Village! So when you come here for a drink, not only are you having a delicious cocktail; but you are also having a drink at the bar where Dylan, Kerouac, Pollock, Hendrix and many other legends had drinks while creating history. How could you say no to that? :) So we went here on an early afternoon for drinks and snacks. We loved everything we ordered. I would highly recommend the Lady Bond. Also, the duck fries were amazing and big enough to share between two or more people. I will definitely be going back for dinner and more happy hours in the future!

Gorgeous architecture and finishes. The chairs are more appearance than comfort so you might want to opt for a booth. Most female servers had lovely cleavage and were very knowledgeable about the menu. Yep. Sexy and smart go together! I peed with three men. The restroom is gender neutral. Just go on in and enjoy the experience. The music was LOUD. We could not converse so we yelled. Loved everything I tasted, ate, stole off someone's plate. The wine, cocktail and beer list is thoughtful and includes all you need. Loved the Patagonia Malbec. Fav food items: *A brussels sprouts and cauliflower dish with smoked chilis, anchovy, garlic, EVOO, butternut squash and balsamic vinegar. *The unique and tasty Angelina salad with arugula, basil, cilantro, spiced pecans, vegetables and a layer of pimento cheese on the bottom. *A delicious venison and quail dish with bacon, huckleberry preserve and pickled cabbage. *An earthy Gratin of potato and cheese with a crisp and chewy bottom layer.

We planned a little get together to celebrate the startling fact that I've managed another 365 day rotation around the sun and it truly was a pretty fab experience. The complimentary valet is appreciated and the decor inside is a stunner. I've been here so long that South Lamar and Congress were seedy, sketchy parts of town when I was going to St. Ed's and I still find myself startled by the transformation of the area over the past two decades. What they've done to this space is glorious to say the least. It reminds me of my new favorite place in Denver, Avelina, in that it has a swanky, 1920s prohibition era vibe with a modern twist. Great textures and lighting and spacious seating even in the banquette table areas. The outside area and arched gallerie area that houses the study and tavern behind it do not remind one that they are deep in the heart of Texas. The oak bar they dismantled and drove down from New York is worth a visit just for itself. Our server was engaging, relaxed and my single friends got a little giddy whenever he approached the table-so fair to say that despite my hubby being there, we took great appreciation of his aesthetics! Drinks were very well crafted- we had the a who tequila drink with a touch of cacao. One friend didn't like it, so she switched to wine and I drank hers as well. We ordered the tuna tartare and crab and cornbread apps which were both really good. For dinner we ordered the braised short ribs. I know short ribs have been the darling for the past few years of most upscale places, but these were incredibly tender and savory due to an overnight sous bed bath and then a short braise the day of service. I only wish it had more sauce. It tasted delish the next say with a poached egg and leftover broccolini alongside the cauliflower and Brussles dish for brekkie. My friend had the tuna with kale salad and said it was perfectly seared and seasoned. The reason we took one star off was for the chicken dish. My poor hubby has a very limited menu due to health reasons, so he basically can just eat chicken and carbs. He ordered the chicken dish and while we were expecting a braised cow au vin dish, he was served a half chicken with salty, charred skin, no vin jus and the meat was very bland and under seasoned. I suggest they brine the chook to make it juicier and more flavorful and add more jus. The shells and cheese were also a little of a let down as the orecchiette were VERY al dente and chewy and the cheese sauce was just a little too powerful. Sadly hubby left hungry and disappointed, but the rest of the dinner and the lovely gold flecked desert were executed really well, so we will definitely be returning ad. Look forward to the roof top deck that is slated to open during the scorching summer months. Hopefully it will remain open in "winter" next season when it's the only bearable time to enjoy rooftop decks in the brutal, unforgiving Texas heat.

I brought clients to this place and it was lovely. The atmosphere and decor were great. I had an old fashioned and a variety of food items on the bar menu. Everything was good including the service.

I met a friend for an early dinner on Friday evening before the ballet. We started with the oysters, which were delicious on their own, but even better with a dash of the green apple mignonette. I absolutely loved the mixed green salad ~ it was a substantial portion and gorgeously presented. And we split the cauliflower entree ~ quite good, but I expected something a little heartier. A couple glasses of champagne completed our light dinner. Wonderful experience all around.

This restaurant was named after Angelina Eberly, who in 1842 managed to stave off an attempt by Sam Houston to move the capital of Texas from Austin to "Washington on the Brazos" (which, I think, today is called Houston) by firing a cannon at the Texas Rangers who had come to move the Texas Land Office files from Austin to Houston. Anyway, the food is unique and delicious, the service is really good, and prices are not ridiculous. Also not to be missed is the adjacent Cedar Tavern Bar--there's a whole history behind that as well!

We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our waitress and staff were attentive and the meal moved along at a nice pace. We ordered the bread (delicious) and the hushpuppies to start. We had the filet and the pork chop. Both dishes were excellent, but I was a little jealous of the grips that came with my husband's pork chop. The brown butter cake we chose for dessert was unique and very tasty. The bar looked very nice and we appreciated the unisex bathrooms (so much easier).

I visited Austin & took my niece and her friend to dinner at Eberly. We had OK service to begin with that deteriorated after our waiter delivered our main course. The first bottle of wine and very lovely bread turned up with no problem. We ordered a dozen oysters ($48) which were fairly dry/not very briny or substantial at all, rather a disappointment. Our mains arrived at the point at which our bottle of wine had run dry. We all tried to flag down our waiter several times but he was conspicuous-avoidance mode. I ordered the chicken and gnocchi - the latter was wonderful, the chicken was good but slightly under-salted and frustratingly there was no salt on the table and we seemingly didn't have a waiter any longer. Finally we flagged down a *different* waiter than our own who brought us a bottle of wine and some salt, but by that time I'd eaten the chicken. Our original waiter turned up in time to offer us desert - at this point we had not seen him since he'd dropped off our main and dashed away some 40 minutes previously. I was surprised that our bill came to $430 for 3 people and the service was quite so poor. Food was good (oysters merely OK) but the price cannot support this kind of apathetic/mercurial waiter service.

What a surprise. Beautiful bar with large leather sofas to sit back and enjoy great company and cocktails. Overall ambiance of the bar area is very inviting and you simply want to spend the afternoon catching up with your friends! I will be back!!

My youngest daughter suggested this place and I am so glad she did. The venue is lovely although you must valet as there is little to no parking. Once seated we were greeted by a knowledgeable waiter and interesting menu. We were allowed to split plates as we wanted to sample a couple of things which is something I always appreciate. Good selection of wines as well. Definitely planning a return visit!

After reading several reviews, my daughter made a dinner reservation at Eberly in Austin, Texas. She recently moved to Austin and I was visiting her from out of state. What a perfect evening we enjoyed at Eberly. The bar was very special, centered around an amazing carved wooden bar that had been imported. It was simply a beautiful and comfortable location with great drinks. Then we moved to the restaurant area. Eberly is one of the most attractive restaurants I’ve visited in years. The ambience was absolutely delightful. Our waiter provided expert service and very ably helped us with our choices for dinner. Everything we ordered was created with interesting choices of ingredients, seasoning and delicious meats. My favorite item was my main course which combined homemade noodles with excellent pieces of tender juicy short rib meat...truly delicious! There were many other choices, and I understand that they change the menu often. It was a very special evening. I highly recommend Eberly. I will certainly return on my next visit to Austin!

Trendy but tasteful, table side or bar dining ,outdoor seating and unisex bathroom stalls!American cuisine with a focus on fresh fish and seafood, steaks, plus less standard items like antelope and quail.Very good oysters and kale salad followed by excellent Alaskan halibut and very competent strip steak plus fries.Modern twist on carrot cake for desert.Short but adequate wine list, good service, prices on high side but people watching makes visit good value.

Enjoyed dinner with family at Eberly on a Thursday night. Appetizers, drinks and main course dishes were excellent. The interior decor and atmosphere were very appealing. Downside was slow service. Dinner for 3 was $230, while a little pricey, it was about as expected based on reviews. Will probably return.

This place is a knock out when it comes to looks. The inside is stunning. We went to the back bar waiting for another couple. My partner had a martini, $16 and I had a draft beer, $6. I expect to pay for great but neither were, both average. The food prices were so high that we elected to go to another place. Before going we did have an appetizer, it was okay. The folks that owned Stubbs Barbque own this place, I hope they can bring some value here. Good looking place, saw lots of people eating appetizers.

We went the first week they opened and it was amazing. The interior is very nice and the food was amazing. They had one of my favorite Pinot Noir's on their wine list, Twomey, so I had to get it. We had a great time and the atmosphere is extremely nice. i will be visiting again.

we were a group of about 30. the atrium was stunning as were the bar and the rest of the restaurant. it created a fantastic backdrop for a memorable and lively party. the staff were all pleasant and helpful. the presentation was also lovely. the food was good. we parked at the bicycle shop because we had purchased our bikes there and they didn't mind! i would recommend this restaurant to swanky hipsters with fine palates. (i am not one of them!)

The Eberly is a remarkable restaurant in a city full of restaurants of "sameness". Austin has lots of BBQ, taco and trendy restaurants, but the Eberly is a stand out. The menu is sophisticated and the food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the fire grilled cauliflower and was the flavors were incredible! My husband had the short ribs and he loved how tender and delicious is was. Don't miss the pimento cheese starter! If you're lucky, you can go in the back to the Cedar Tavern bar. Incredible history from Greenwich Village. Look it up! Service is impeccable and valet parking. It's not a stuffy, up scale restaurant, but truly top of the line with an Austin casual feel. It's the best restaurant that I've been to in a very long time. Looking forward to many visits to come.

So we've been here 3 days and it's been one great restaurant after another. Hard to pick which is best. This was exceptional. Redfish, short rib, steak, crab cornbread, oysters, and mac and cheese were special. The crab cornbread won even greater praise. Good range of drinks available and service generally very good. Entrees came out before apps were fully done by everyone. Hard to get reservations. Bar is also worth checking out. Beautiful cabinetry.

After telling the host that we had this was our first visit, he took us on a tour of the restaurant, unique bar, and the private dining room. The service was outstanding. The food was wonderful, from the hot fried pork ribs appetizer to the salmon and rainbow trout entrees. We'll definitely return here!

A birthday celebration dinner at Eberly with a group of dear friends was everything we had hoped for. Our table was in the center area of the restaurant - the sun room. Very elegant and our food and wine were delicious. My only complaint was with the service. Our table split 2 of the Kansas City Bone In Steaks, salads, and sides. Our wait staff just didn't get the timing right with this meal. Everything was served at once and, initially, very small plates were brought out. If entrees are meant to be shared, the staff needs a little more training with this type of service. Perhaps, it was an off night.

I am a big fan of Eberly, drinks are good (pricey but aren't they all) love the atmosphere and valet parking is complimentary. However on my last visit on a Saturday early evening - arrived at 6pm- with a friend. we sat at the bar where there were only about 4 seats taken, but there were about 4-5 bartenders working behind the bar. First of all I waited nearly 5 minutes to make a drink order, (it was delicious) that time was doubled as we waited to order food, my friend's large and very empty wine glass sat in front of her for another 4-5 minutes. . .we had a show to attend and we had to literally flag down (waving our arms) to get someone's attention to give us our tab! All the while we watched the bartender(s) chat it up with each other, leaning on the back counter staring into space, or just absent all together. If there hadn't been so many of them working, or the place was packed I would have totally understood but that was NOT the case. I am a generous tipper (based on my service) but it wasn't happening this night. For a restaurant of this quality with prices they charge the service should be of equal if not higher levels. And by the way the valet gents were very prompt, friendly and on it! They got the higher tip that night.

I have never, ever, posted a review for a restaurant before, but my experiences at Eberly absolutely warrant one. I've been to Eberly on multiple occasions including being a guest at a wedding, attending their Rose Soiree, hosting a huge corporate event, celebrating my birthday, and grabbing brunch with friends. I am OBSESSED, to say the least. My most recent time at Eberly was for a very special private event—one which could not have gone the way that it had if it wasn't for Eberly's INCREDIBLE staff who went above and beyond my wildest dreams. Sarah, Sophie, and Tommy were there every step of the way, making me feel like I was their top priority and making my event that much more special. It goes without saying that the ambiance and vibe of the place is phenomenal (the pics don't even do it justice). If I could rate this restaurant and staff 10 stars, I would do it without question. Eberly will forever be my fave spot in Austin and I will be celebrating special moments there for years to come.

I love that they have all day happy hour on Sunday! The menu for HH both drinks and food is delightful. Good variety, good portions. We tried one of the pizzas, the hush puppies and the onion dip. All were good. The cocktails were made well. The dessert was outstanding! The ambiance is lovely. Love the decor! Complimentary valet makes parking easy,

We're locals and can go anywhere...we go here often. Beautiful setting, very well set up, and will appeal to everyones tastes.. Atrium one of the best places to sit. Bar area fabulous. Outdoor patio just right. Can't wait for roof top to open. Excellent service. No really, excellent service. Eclectic menu, but truly something for everyone including food, drinks, beer, and wine selections. Try the Smokin Barrell if you prefer the "brown water"! Can't wait to go back.

Eberly combines a variety of totally different looks to create a surprisingly eclectic but somehow cohesive look tgat works. The "sun" room in the center is to me the most elegant and appealing but the bar is also quite nice. Food is high quality and quite good, but familiar. We experienced no surprises. The sommelier has assembled an interesting wine list and has a good feel for oairing wines with their food. Giod service. Recommended with the caveat that prices are somewhat high.

Large business group had dinner here, with a particularly tough bunch of type a personalities. Servers were exceptional and the food even better. Appies to deserts awesome. Tried antelope for the first time and it was Excellent! Highly recommend this place.

Our party of 7 (4-adults and 3-kids) had an excellent Easter Brunch. Atmosphere is fun, food was wonderful and reasonable. Great cocktails and staff! Will definitely return next time we visit Austin.

I recently attended a retirement party/celebration at Eberly. Although the bar area was warm and everyone was talking loudly, the atmosphere and food was very good. I was amazed at the bar (someone told me it came from upstate New York). In my opinion, it had an Irish look and feel to it. From the moment I walked into Eberly, the host and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restroom was unique as I had to visit it and when I entered, there was a man washing his hands, as I stood dazed. He said this was a unisex bathroom. This was my first experience with this concept, but soon realized it was no big deal. If you have the opportunity to visit Eberly in the evening, you'll be impressed about the atrium.

Austin foodies, this is a new place to put on your checklist! My husband and I went here on a date after a play at ZACH Theatre, and were blown away. We've been telling our friends and can't wait to go back. I love the beautiful design and cerulean & indigo palette on the inside, as well as the thoughtful transitions between restaurant, bar, and event spaces. We did not have a reservation (pro tip: make one), and so sat at the bar and had great service. I ordered the Lady Bond cocktail and braised short ribs, and my husband got the venison and quail and thought it was better than Hudson's on the Bend. Our dishes were unique in the way they were presented and we thoroughly enjoyed! And save room for dessert - I am dreaming about Natalie's Basque Cake! Hoping to go back for my birthday and also to stop by one night to check out the Cedar Tavern in the back.

Vibrant bar area! Great space, overall. Some patio dining for fine weather days. Food was very good. Somewhat limited menu and small portions, but overall it worked if ending up a little pricey. They have a different (more crowded) bar area menu which had items that in general would be more to my liking, and we'll try that end of the house again soon. Service was excellent and attentive. My thanks to - Dean, I think? The only negative I have was the really crappy parking. You are really forced to valet park, but then again that is becoming almost ubiquitous as the City of Austin has screwed up street and lot parking nearly city-wide - yet another Adler fault. Excellent bars. Recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Eberly! The small whitewashed structure opens into a spacious very nicely laid out restaurant with a bar straight ahead, a lovely atrium to the right and more conventional seating to the left and right. So it was a delightful place in which to take our seats. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The menu included a few things you don't often see, such as grilled squash served with fava bean tabbouleh, calabrian chiles, and avocado yogurt purée, or the cornmeal hushpuppies served with andouille, green lentil jambalaya, shaved ricotta salata, We went for the foccacia hot from the oven, the charcuterie board, and the PEI mussels - all were very good but the mussels were really fabulous! We will be back!

Couple weekend with friends in Austin. Eberly came highly recommended. We loved the burrata and oysters. Tuna and halibut for dinner. Almond cake for dessert. Great wine list, environment. Service was good at first but got delayed.

The latest small plate offering in Austin. Great wine list, but few shareable appetizer options. We were seated in the atrium and it was a beautiful night. We shared the charcuterie plate which was more than ample for 4 people. The cheese selection was thoughtful, there was a small crock of pate that was well prepared but a tad sweet. The raw beet garnish was strange and without flavor. We had a late lunch so ordered mostly salads. They were well prepared and quite tasty. The chopped salad was dressed nicely. Strangely, they were served on only half the plate. Small detail, but it looked odd. Assume they were going for artistic but it missed the mark. The crab cornbread was very small for $18.00 and looked plain and bland on the plate. Service was okay, not bad, not stellar and a tad slow. Wine list was a bright spot however. Nice selection of Italian wines but really, get the Prisoner off the list. It has no place there. We would try this place one more time. On a positive note, we did not have a reservation so assumed we would have to sit in the bar. They get huge points for seating us and not flinching at the fact we hadn't reserved, and finding us the perfect table!

A group of 8 of us went here for brunch and we were seated in the Atrium area, which was very nice. We all enjoyed our food and the "Bird of Paradise" cocktail, which arrived in a copper flamingo. Service was average and the price point was very reasonable for brunch. Would go again!

Driving by, you would not expect Eberly to be anything special - but walk through the doors and the place is stunning with so many different areas with different vibes, all of them beautiful. Add to that the fact that the food is really really amazing and you have a winner. Perfect choice for special occasions or for a drink.

We stopped in because I'd heard they have great burgers and they brought the bar from an historic bar in NYC. We received a great tour of the place from the owner, she was so kind and sweet, explaining the history of the bar, their effort to save it and the great pains taken to rebuild it perfectly here in Austin. That particular bar doesn't open for lunch on Saturday, but they accommodated us beautifully in the main dining room with a booth. The service was friendly and fast without being too fast. The food.. we shared the breakfast burger and a Muffaletta pizza. The burger was amazing, every component accented the other without overwhelming anything. The fires were crisp and hot. The pizza was also lovely, but we ordered too much and so took home the majority of the pizza - it traveled well and we enjoyed it the next day. For an anniversary treat - they gave us the chocolate chip cookies with nutella ice cream sandwiches, all I can say is OMG, the cookies were small and chewy perfect for the ice cream in the center! The best way to round out a lovely meal without being too big. Staff were friendly and our drinks were always topped up. I look forward to coming back for dinner, lunch, etc BTW - Valet parking is free or you can park at the bike shop down the way and walk back to the restaurant.

Named for Angelina Eberly, the woman who, in 1842, used a cannon to fight off Texas Rangers who were trying to steal land records so that Sam Houston could move the capitol of Texas to "Washington on the Brasos", this is a wonderfully eclectic mix of great food and good atmosphere. Also annexed to the restaurant is the Cedar Tavern, which houses the relocated Cedar Tavern (NYC) bar--bar food is wonderful and the cocktails are fabulous.

EBERLY is a combination of beautiful ambience, delicious entrees, amazing deserts and outstanding drinks! Oh, I forgot to mention incredible service (by our server, John). We had the most wonderful dining experience here celebrating our friend's big birthday! Everything was absolutely wonderful. Elegant and attractive. Even the restroom was gorgeous! DO NOT MISS this one. We will be back on our next trip to Austin...

My experience was super! Great service and the food was amazing! I order the steak and fries, my fiancée order fish! It was amazing!

Eberly has bought and installed the classic bar from the Cedar Tavern that used to be on University Place in Greenwich Village. They have installed it in its own large room that is nouveau Austin sleek, which helps set off the over 100 year old bar and liquor cabinet, complete with genuine Tiffany leaded glass. This was a treat for a former Greenwich Village habitue from the last century. I had many a late night conversation there, meals with some of my family, and sitting at that mahogany beauty was like a vacation home. BTW, the service and drinks were excellent, the food was very good, and, though pricey, I recommend a visit to anyone!

We came in for a birthday and we were very happy with our selection of this place. Every employee from the host to waiter to bartender was very friendly.the food selections are unique and also not bad in price. The drinks we ordered were tasty and also unique. We recommend the salmon it was amazing thanks to the staff for the incredible experience

Excellently prepared cocktails for reasonable prices in an elegantly laid-back atmosphere. Perfect for a night with friends.

First, Eberly is located in a converted building that's unique, and opens your curiosity to the decor, it's history and the furnishings. The menu is concise and diverse and the chef has something to please anyone. I was with a group of 9 and we started with a variety of starters from steak tartare to cheeses and other items. They were excellent. The wine list is extensive and while I don't drink, we had a person with us who was a wine steward and he selected several bottles that were really good. For dinner, I had the redfish with lump crab meat. the fish was fresh, moist and cook perfectly and the lump crab was a great topper. Several others had the yellowfin and others had the antelope medallions and which they said were very good. Several desserts were shared and I had the Grasshopper which was so many styles and varieties of chocolate and mint, it was the cap to a great meal. See the picture of the dessert. Finally, the staff is very attentive, but not overbearing. I'd highly recommend it!

Haven't eaten at Eberly yet but have visited the Cedar Tavern twice in the same week. Love the bar..it's beautiful. Bartenders are very friendly and the oysters were absolutely divine. It became very crowded around 10pm

Best cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts ! We weren’t rushed, great ambiance and waiter… thoroughly enjoyed our night!

What a cool place full of great food, warm staff and fun guests. Definitely worth a visit and check out the Cedar Tavern Bar in the back!

The Eberly was able to easily accommodate our group of nine . Service was excellent, and the food was very good. This restaurant had a very nice ambiance, and it was not loud so we could actually hear each other.

My husband and I love this place. The cocktails are amazing, the food is very good and we just love it there. The decoration is superb, chic, elegant, Victorian, 50's, industrial, a blend that will captivate and transport you back in time. The service is just impeccable. The bathrooms remind me of a classic golf club... everything is just detailed and perfect. The Eberly team worked meticulously to reassemble and refurbish the historic Cedar Tavern bar, located first at Greenwich Village in New York City, and now at Eberly. Just delightful, our new favorite place in Austin!

New find for us. Awesome environment. Great service. Fabulous food. Scallops were superb. Pork chop was perfectly done. Beef tartare was the best I’ve had in a long time. And desserts are to die for. Try the specialty cocktails before dinner.

This is one of the new swank spots in Austin, and the restaurant is gorgeous. The service is attentive and friendly, and you can imagine the Stones having a drink at the bar (where they used to visit when the bar was in NY - they physically moved the bar itself here!). I hate to give this place 3 stars, but nothing in our meal was standout . . . it was just o.k. I hope that Eberly works on their menu and gets it right (they are still new) eventually. It would be a shame for another gorgeous place to close their doors due to lack of attention to the menu and the food. I would visit again just to sit in the Atrium or have a drink at the bar - hoping things will improve with time!

I was there for a business meeting and it was a little noisy but too bad. The drinks and food were very good. I had an old fashion that was done very well and would have another one when I go back. I also had the peppercorn stake which was very good. Overall everything the group had was good. The service was very good as well. Friendly and on top of it.

Me sure to get reservations. We were not able to get a table, but left our name if there was a cancelation and set off to order off the bar menu. Luckily, were were called back before we even got our drinks. Lucky us. We started with a Charcuterie & Cheese appetizer. It was more than enough for four of us. It the cheeses were good and unique and the pates etc. were also very good. I ordered a salad and three of us ordered the Pot of Goodness for three of us to share, as we had eaten a bigger lunch earlier in the day. It had lots of prawns, fish and scallops. The broth it was in was pretty good as well. There other member in the party ordered the Venison and Quail. I the think that was the real win of the evening. We also ordered a couple of desserts to share. They were "to die for." YUM!!! Overall. The service was great, food is good and the atmosphere was current and energetic. There is valet parking.

I was pleasantly surprised. Very good food and service, the decor is interesting, unique and impressive. Great date place, decent wine prices!

We went to the bar portion of the restaurant, which goes by Cedar Tavern. It took a couple tries to get the beer order right because (as it turns out) they had the tap lines crossed. Following that the service was a little spotty. We had to ask twice to order food and then to close our tab at the end. It was a little busy, but there were quite a few people behind the bar, so the service level was a little surprising. We ordered ceviche and the tavern fries. Both were very tasty, but at $17 the price of the ceviche was a little scandalous, especially considering its diminutive size. You can get ceviche as good or better for less in Austin. At $5, I think the fries were the least expensive thing on the bar menu. Should fries be $5? Probably not, but they were tasty and a nice accompaniment for beer. What's promising? The overall atmosphere and design of the place was nice. There were several different rooms, with an outdoor seating area, an atrium that provided nice light, a main dining area that also had a pretty nice bar. I can see this being a cozy place during the holidays and I expect the service will improve, though it will probably stay pricey. I will go back and give at least one more try, for the bar and a full dining experience. In the write-ups a big deal is made about the bar, which was moved from a "historic" closed bar in NYC. I don't know the original bar, but it is pretty nice and adds a lot of character to what was otherwise a cement room. Oh, and the restrooms are a must-visit. It's tough to explain, but I haven't experienced restrooms like this in Austin. They're kind of British. Definitely a gender-neutral type experience.

I've been to Eberly 3 times already and each time has been excellent. It's an upscale restaurant so be prepared to pay - our meal came out to ~$100 each which included an appetizer, main dish, dessert, and a couple of drinks. So not an every-Thursday type of place but certainly special-occasion-worthy. We shared the grilled octopus and salmon crudo. Then I had the grilled filet steak. Finished up with 3 lovely desserts: key lime pie, chocolate creme brulee, and pineapple upside down cake. Each of us rounded out the meal with fantastic cocktails - Summer Crush for me - and the sparkling rose flight which might be seasonal. Our waitress was excellent - she gave us all great recommendations and took care of our allergies. If you go, try to get a table in The Study - which has a glass-type ceiling with lots of light and hanging greenery. This is on S. Lamar so self-parking is tough but they do have complimentary valet. I'm most definitely looking forward to my next visit 😁 🍽️

I moved from Europe... It was so hard to find a place where you can find something SO good, ....This so f* different and so good!! And so not weird but just fantastic!! Name it and I'll tell you my opinion.... love it! You don't need pics, just stop by (or make reservation at least few days priori)...

Very different menu choices, had an excellent breakfast thaicluded multiple offerings of your favorite breakfast foods that can be modified ti accomodate any dietary limitations. iWowed by the over-the-top sevice/server!

We ate at Eberly on the advice of friends. It did not disappoint!! The main dining area is well appointed and designed so diners can enjoy food and conversation. There is a beautiful conservatory in front of the kitchen alongside the bar. The sommelier was enthusiastic and offered great information. Our server Dean was also very attentive without being intrusive. The food was great as well. We had halibut and the steak with Brussel sprouts/cauliflower as a side dish. The steak was the best.... butter tender and full of flavor. We ended the meal with the Texas Gold Rush, perfect sized lemon custard cake, honey ice cream with honeycomb. A high light of our Austin visit.

My sister and I stopped in for brunch and fell in love with this mid-century designed restaurant. Our server Logan was very friendly, patient and helpful with us. The food was good though not exceptional. But the atmosphere and service more than made up for that. We ate in the main dining room then explored the other seating areas including the bar which are all beautiful and unique. Logan informed us the bar is historical and was transported from a place in New York City.

There are some things to like about Eberly (buildout, bar, atmosphere) but the food/restaurant is not one of them. Some of the food was good (not great) but the majority was simply average. Some of the entrees were cold when they arrived. Service also lacked. Instead of coursing the meal they brought the appetizers with our entrees. Twice we had a good runner try to bring food to our table that wasn't ours. Drinks on average took 20+ minutes arrive... Overall 2.5*

I should have walked around the restaurant and bars, but I didn’t. We started at the bar, waiting for friends for dinner. Moved to a booth for dinner. Waiter was patient, friendly, attentive. Food was good, ( I wasn’t really hungry and got the appetizer ahi tuna poke’ which was tasty. Hubby got the scallops, delicious, but only 3 , maybe 4 on the plate; not an appetizer). Moderately pricey/ expensive. Surprising they charged for a ‘neat’ drink and the special ice cubes. When the weather cools off, the roof top section will be a nice (I think, even though I didn’t go up there this visit).

Make reservations. Take your time to enjoy the house special cocktails, small plates and oysters. Good salad selection.

Cedar Tavern is located at the rear of Eberly. It is the reconstruction of an old bar that was purchased in New York City. The space is minimalist concrete crossed with this turn of the century bar. It all seems to work. There is lots of space at the bar, high top tables plus couches with large tables. A good setting for cocktails, snacks or a full meal. Lighting is low and music level is right. Our server throughout the meal was relaxed and helpful. And very generously when our Fasten driver did not show up he put another ride sharing car on his account for us (which we repaid him in cash). That IS taking care of a customer ! We had three small snacks: Brussels & Cauliflower, Short Rib Slider and a Zucchini Bianco Pizza. The pizza crust was delicious. We immensely enjoyed all three dishes. This along with three beers and three wines came to $82 before tip. Cedar Tavern is the perfect venue for food and drink after a performance at the Long Center. Full marks on all counts.

Started w delicious ABC pinot and other fun cocktails at the table. Had the tar tar , octopus and beets apps.. would say they are a little small for sharing w 4 hungry adults. But great flavors and interesting combos. We felt the menu leaned a bit Spanish w an iberico paella type dish which I enjoyed , Spanish octopus.there was some wagyu , pasta and short rib lettuce wrap meal at the table..all very tasty. Service was impeccable until dessert when we ordered and desserts and coffees never came.. bummer because really was flawless until that time..then it dragged..deserts came and coffee never did.. again I would say desserts on the small side for sharing. We tried creme brûlée and a blueberry crumble shortbread creation not on the menu but delish as someone in the group had read about it online. Cool Baths rooms, back hidden bar and lounge , cool atrium.. almost had a french brasserie feel… valet made life easy.. would love to go back..it’s over by one of our fave S Lamar haunts Uchi -YUM

Went here with family that lives in Austin. First time for all of us. Recommend the charcuterie board for a starter. Salads were good. We had pasta, chicken, and steaks for entrees. Eveyone was pleased with the food and the service.

We had a business dinner meeting here & it went pretty good. Food & service was great! The only thing that bothered me was when the bussers started to take the dirty plates off the table when someone is still eating, it feels like the last person eating was being rushed. I would suggest to wait until everyone is almost done then they start clearing the table. Other than that, it was a great night!

First visit - party of 3. Nice space and good service. Place was packed with UTx students. Usual "craft" cocktails ($10- $12). Had their "prime" burger with side of bacon: burger good and bacon better. Short rib calzone was huge and one of the best dishes. Corpse Revivor was a winner but more of a flat bread. Damages with tip was $100.

Although the menu is limited here, the food is excellent. We had 2 fish dishes, both of which were fresh and toasty. The Redfish, which was served over a squash compote with Cajun flavors, was topped with large lumps of crab. The crab was fresh, sweet and flavorful and the compote slightly spicy and delicious. The tuna was served with kale, pomegranate and doused with a coconut dressing. We each chose a different salad and the server offered to spit each salad so we could try both. This was nice, as both salads were very good. We loved the food here and would definitely come back again/ The noise level was very loud and the dessert just so-so, but the entrees so good, we give them an "excellent" rating.

We are in Austin visiting for a night, and we got recommendations of several different restaurants. Honestly, we should’ve chosen a different place. The restaurant is really well designed and the wait staff was nice. They really need a new chef! We were just there an hour and a half ago and already eating somewhere else due to not liking our food.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The people were friendly and good natured, the food was absolutely great and the bar at the back is spectacular. A must see if you visit.

My daughter and I had a wonderful Easter dinner at Eberly's. The staff was friendly and efficient- we enjoyed the jalapeño corn bread topped with lump crab as an appetizer which was delicious. For dinner my daughter had the redfish, I had the coq o vin, both colorful and mm mm good. It's worth a try

My wife and I had a lovely dining experience. Great specialty cocktails and high end spirits to start. Split the Angelina chop chop salad which was great. I had the Tuna with Kale Salad and Butternut squash hummus and it was perfectly prepared and presented. Wife had Short ribs and they were delicious. Finished with Latte and Basque cake and all were done well. Will go back for sure.

Energetic bar scene with a beautiful historic bar brought in from nyc. Good service great drinks and food at the bar

Wonderful and special experience!! Food, service and atmosphere was all amazing!! Loved the gender fluid restroom!!!

So the place is an attractive space, no doubt. The Entrees were the highlight, if only reviewing that I would give higher marks. The service was poor so it averages out. First, the server asked us to have a complete order for her and played it off that the chef requests that. that translated to me that they want to turn tables as fast as possible. We submitted a wine and app order first. The wine took quite awhile to get to the table, she poured a sample and the Cab was warmer than room temp. She was off toget a bottle out of their cooler, but that they had just switched over, whatever that meant. To ask $185 for a bottle of wine and not serve it at cellar temp is 101 stuff both from the restaurant and the server. A new bottle came, maybe it was about 72 degrees. Drinkable but not proper. Apps were OK. Server took too long for about everything we asked. I would recommend waiting another few months before you go,

My family and I have always loved Eberly! A few days ago we decided to try their brunch since we have previously dined for dinner (and loved it immensely). The warm contemporary ambiance of the restaurant is one of my favorites in downtown Austin and the food is always uniquely delicious! As a big pancake lover, I was naturally attracted to the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and I'm happy to say it exceeded my expectations! The rest of my family thoroughly enjoyed their food as well, especially the Pastry Basket we shared! We will definitely continue to return to Eberly!

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful antique bar with Tiffany glass, delicious gourmet food. Go for a special dinner or just drinks with friends. Valet parking available.

Finally got the chance to visit Eberly. Valet is complimentary so not to worry about parking. FANTASTIC. We made reservations and got seated in the atrium and it was beautiful. I got the chicken and waffles (DELICIOUS and MOIST) and then for the table we got all the pastries. Housemade Poptart, Orange cranberry Muffin, and Brioche filled bun (my favorite). Also sunday during Brunch there was a popup shop to do a bit of shopping.

Rolled in one Monday evening for a meal. Valet parking is crucial. The place was half filled which was nice. Even at half filled, it was on the loud side so I can see what some reviews are saying regarding noise level. Started off with a draft beer. Nice local selection. Then moved on to a monte carlo cocktail. Not a bad choice. Sadly, no large ice cubes here. Appetizer was the tuna tartare. Fresh tuna. Nice chunks. Served with potato chips. I should have ordered my own. Dinner was the halibut special. Fish was nice and done to perfection. Good stuff here. Desert included Parmesan ice cream. Odd concept but surprisingly tasty. Good spot.

Valet was pleasant and efficient (though we entered the wrong way - missed first entrance ... needs to be better marked, Management). Hostess was receptive, polite, pleasant. Didn’t hurt that we’d made a reservation. The booth was perfect for our seating needs and looked out at the interesting dining spaces. Our server Logan was knowledgeable, fun yet efficient and helpful. His back server, who’s name I’m sorry I didn’t get, was as great, sharing fascinating info about Eberly in general! From the old bar in the private room to the one-way mirror separating two areas of the restaurant, this unnamed busser was also the “resident” history buff and shared a couple of fun facts to our delight. If first impressions are the most important, I doubt I would’ve stayed had it not been for Logan and the very pleasant ambience Eberly offers. It was clear my mimosa was made with very low quality champagne, and they don’t offer any kind of gluten-free breads or pastries. The brunch board was delicious, however; and they had almond milk for my coffee; this meal period was looking up. My Eberly breakfast was delicious as were my family’s meals. From great service to the old pre-owned books used as check presenters, this cool spot was worth the time (and stomach space) spent.

Spent my husband's birthday meal here. Made our reservations via OpenTable. Started waiting for our table at the old bar at the back of the restaurant. It is a very lovely piece of furniture. The dining room is very loud but I love the atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. For our birthday meal we did three starters and one entree. We got a dozen oysters, the tuna tartare and watermelon crab. The tuna tartare has a great kick to it. It was probably my favorite. Even though the watermelon crab is a close second. We then ordered the halibut and ordered a side of sprouts & cauliflower. Overall a great meal. They surprised my husband with a grasshopper desert. My husband loved it. A very nice experience. Valet parking making parking easy. We will be back and can't wait for it.

The food was all very good and service was super. It is a little noisy if you are wanting to have a meal and a conversation with others. Having said that, they do have different areas of the restaurant to sit in such as the study, Cedar Tavern, Cannon room and a couple other areas. They do offer complimentary valet parking which is nice. We caught a ride with Austin Ride Share though! :-) We started out with apitizers; focaccia with sea salt butter, cornmeal huspuppies that are made with lump crab, andouille, jambalaya, and shells and cheese. Not your orindary apitizers! I had the Inman ranch pork chop which could be a meal for two people! The pork was cooked perfectly and was very tender. They have a unique cocktail menu which is worth exploring. We will return as a couple and explore the Cedar Tavern portion of the restaurant.

With no reservations we decided to just have a drink at the bar. Cocktails were great so we ordered the charcuterie board to accompany them. The smoked meats and cheeses were exquisite. Next we decided to order wine and small plates and call it dinner. Everyone enjoyed their choices. I would do this again.

Two of us had an early reservation at 6:15 in the main dining room. The Oak Tavern Bar is another option for dinner. It is s livelier bar atmosphere with somewhat more casual dinner options if that is what you are looking for. Valet parking was easy; choose this option because other parking is very limited. Seated quickly and our waitress was helpful and informative. We had oyster appetizer. Ok but not the best oysters but it's Texas so what were we thinking! The yuzu kosho mignonette for the oysters was wonderful though and a nice surprise. We both chose the filet. One of us wanted to sub carrots for the potatoes but chef said no. That feels pretentious and what a surprise on a $48. filet plate. The steak was delicious but a bit of a too smokey flavor that carried over to the asparagus and potatoes so think about that if this is your option. The small yuzu tart for dessert with huckleberry sorbet was a perfect choice after a meal. The refusal to substitute on the veggies on the filet option would prevent us from returning. It is a relatively limited menu and the restaurant was not busy so it's puzzling they would not accommodate a guest.

Had a family brunch...yum! The fried chicken and waffles were excellent and the servers were very prompt and attentive.

My husband and I️ came here for happy hour since he loves oysters and we’d heard theirs was the best in town. My husband was thrilled with both the wood roasted and blue points. We also took a risk and tried the Ceviche after having some of the best in Peru. We both were floored by the perfection of their Ceviche- fresh, crisp, light with all the right flavors making it the best we’ve had in the US. Definitely check out Eberly - you won’t be disappointed!

Came here because it was highly recommended. Our experience may be skewed because we were seated for dinner late at 9PM. Thinking everyone was tired from a long day at work. First impression. LOUD! LOUD! Servers not bad. Food took forever and some of it almost seemed like they were forcing the recipes to be different. Not sure if I would go back. Will say the Tuna app was GREAT!

Mid week at 7pm and it was almost empty but filled fast as this place gets cozier when its dark out and lights come on. Swift service and stiff drinks got us going and the charcuterie platter was fabulous. The bread is addictive. The tuna tartare was not my favorite, too soft in texture and in need of some finesse but the crispy bread is a nice touch. The bar in back inviting to a night cup and cozy seating. The unisex bathrooms are way to dim for us ladies who want to check their make up. Enjoyed the classy establishment for that mid week treat.

Trying out yet another newbie for brunch by South Lamar. While the decor and service did not disappoint, the food however needs a bit of work. Valet parking makes getting into the restaurant a snap. The host greeted us with a big smile and our waiter very knowledgeable and were quite patient. We ordered the eggs Benedict and avocado toast with eggs and bacon. The Benedict was done right but the sauce was a bit bland. The ham and the English muffin were on point. The avocado toast made with pesto were quite tasty and the bacon is done well with good crunch. The dining room is big and airy with great mix of modern and post modern decors. The big sun room would be perfect for a group party and the bar at the back is classy and very inviting. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch crowd and have an overall a good experience here. Can’t wait to try their dinner menu next time!

This place is just amazing !!! My first time here and I’m in love. We came late for drinks and desserts and can’t wait to go back. Beautiful interior and “ greenhouse room”. The bread pudding was prob the best dessert I’ve d we had. I ordered the chocolate cake after because i was so impressed. Service was excellent. Bartenders were helpful and friendly. Def want to come back for food. Highly recommend this place !!

We shared a burrata, served ..warm, which was a surprise, but we are Europeans and have a lot discover and adjust here. The burrata was served with smoked (?) tomatoes and smoked bread. We had a steak-frittes, cooked to perfection and a basic and perfect pizza. As we were celebrating, they offered us a complimentary banana pudding, which we would have never ordered, but was also excellent. Drawbacks: very loud and freezing cold, but again our benchmark is Europe, We also did not understand their filtration process at the entrance: we arrived at 8.45 Friday, the said no table only at the bar, though many table were available when we arrived and even more when we left. I guess this is just a way to keep the hype. Again and again: Tripadvisor criterias are wrong: this place is not what I call fine dining, but is in the $$$ range.

Went here for the first time today for dinner. It was another magic table. Everything that came disappeared...red fish, antelope a CD quail, steak special for two, broccolini, Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts and grasshopper dessert, and the Natalie. We also had a couple of great cocktails to start and really enjoyed the wine. Further service was excellent. And last but not least, the restaurant was very beautiful. I want to come back and try their happy. But you have to eat in the bar.

We stopped in for drinks before dinner at another place. Wow this place is so beautiful. The drinks are amazing. The staff is attentive even when very busy. Menu looked amazing and I wish we had had the bar food and apps. We will be back

Thinks we were the only folks there over 50. Very Loud. Our food was good, desserts not so much. Service was good

We went for brunch on a Sunday. We had a rather early reservation (around 11am so the place was pretty empty). The venue is simply gorgeous with the atrium and the old bar in the back, notably. The food is excellent. We had the eggs benedict, the hash, and the pancakes. Everything was very well presented and the staff were very (baby) friendly and did a great job. We would definitely go back there although the prices are rather high but the quality is worth it.

I really can't say enough about the food or the restaurant. Chef Tripi and his partners have put together a winner for sure. The place is gorgeous, the food is spectacular and it seems to run well. We just dined there tonight and we already have another reservation close to Christmas. This night was just me wife and I and we tried the "brussels & cauliflower" plus "crab & cornbread" as appetizers and we negotiated who got the last pieces. My wife of course won those negotiations. My wife had "tuna" which is tuna tartare with a salad and while this seems simple the flavors were complex and out of this world. I had a meatball special and it was special. I'll have a hard time not ordering it again when we go back, if it is still being offered. As I said, I rarely rate 5 stars, this place earned 5 tonight.

The food was delicious the service impersonal, lack-luster,uninterested, bored and annoyed that we were breathing his air. Oh you get the picture. I would rate the scallops and the steak a 10+, the environment/setting delightful and the service a major negative. Because of that we will not return. Who wants to go out to eat and be served by a sullen staff?

My friend's husband and I treated my friend to dinner at EBERLY for her birthday. It was a fantastic choice. Per usual in Austin, you can wear nice jeans or a dress or slacks or whatever you prefer and fit right in. The decor of the exterior, interior, restroom (gender neutral), and bar are all gorgeous. The lighting alone will take your breath away! As for the service, our server was excellent. I want to say his name was Ryan but I may be incorrect. He knew the menu extremely well and helped me create a cocktail off the menu that turned out light, fresh, and exactly how I wanted. A nice touch was the Happy Birthday printed on the menu which my friend appreciated and was not expecting. The food. Dang y'all, the food was so good. To start, we had poké and beef tartar with bone marrow. The poké was uh-maz-ing. We also ordered a pork chop that was served with greens & grits (so freaking good), filet with broccolini (steak was cooked to perfection), a side of scallops, potatoes, mac & cheese (tasted JUST like my grandma's recipe which is super rare, highly recommend), and carrots. It was a ton of food and my friends and I ate family style where we tried a bit of everything. The meal ended with Eberly's take on strawberry shortcake with a candle for my friend's birthday. It was yummy. Overall, I highly recommend a visit {or two} to Eberly. So. Good.

We arrived fairly early (had a reservation for 5:30) as we had a play to attend nearby. It wasn't crowded in the restaurant part. They didn't want to seat us in the gorgeous atrium but did we they found out we'd be well gone by 7:30 since our play started then. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, the ambience was excellent. I will for sure go back for the Octopus starter. Best I've had outside of Greece. We walked through the bar which as beautiful too.

We've been here twice for brunch. Everything we have eaten has tasted great. OK, not everything. I prefer actual Pop-Tarts to Eberly's version. But everything else has been outstanding ... the breakfast pizza and the pepperoni-and-cheese brioche were tasty. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower had a nice glaze to them. (Don't worry if you're not an anchovy fan. You won't taste anything fishy.) The chicken in the chicken and waffles was really tender and nicely battered. I loved the breakfast calzone with brisket. The pancakes were some of the best I've had--I kid you not. Seriously, just order something that sounds good to you and you will love it. You'll probably also enjoy the restaurant itself. There are three distinct looks, depending on where you are seated, including this cool area where you're eating in a high-end glassed-in garden courtyard. On top of great food and nice atmosphere, our waitstaff have been excellent ... knowledgeable, accommodating, attentive. We definitely will be back!

And the food was incredible too. Our server was Adan and he was so passionate about each dish and the appropriate drink pairing. His knowledge of the menu was incredible and he made every dish sound like it would be the best we had ever eaten. As far as I know, he was right as my choices were outstanding. The pork chop was fantastic, those that had salmon and the agnolotti were equally confident they had made the best choices. The banana pudding and chocolate brûlée were both fantastic as we closed out one of our finest dining experiences ever. Oh, and if you arrive early, there is a fun bar with great service there too to accommodate you while wait. Next time we get to Austin, we will be back. Valet parking makes it easy too to get on and out.

Living in San Antonio with a daughter at UT Austin we visit the city often and enjoy discovering new restaurants. Eberly has just gone to the top of the list of "must eat and return often"'. The seating was beautiful and service impeccable. Our server (Kate) was like a new best friend. She provided us with great recommendations, efficient and perfect attention. Everything we ate was delicious and a joy to the palate. Go, no, run to Eberly and have a meal you'll enjoy a lifetime. .

Where do I begin with this gem? It all started with a girl's dinner last weekend. When you live a busy life and also have to manage getting a three year old to daycare you begin to lose time to spend with friends. Charlotte suggested we have a girl's night out at Eberly and Oh, My, God. The ambiance is difficult to describe. The glass central room feels like something you would find in a nice restaurant in Europe. All in the heart of Austin. The drinks are spectacular and out of this world. The story about where the bar came from just adds to the character of the place. We were lucky enough to get to spend a few minutes in a hidden bar within. This is my new go to place to get away from responsibilities and spend time with friends. I will also bring my husband. It's perfect.

Went for brunch with friends and had an excellent time and a very tasty meal. The server was both friendly and attentive, the setting attractive and atmosphere was welcoming. So, we thought that dinner there would be the same good time. Well boys and girls, this is a lesson in how not to let perfect be the enemy of good. The facility was still excellent, the server still friendly an attentive but the two dinner entrees weren't at all up to the standard of brunch. It's not that the food was bad, it's that it was tasteless. The presentation was quite nice and was brought promptly at appropriate temperature, but lacked any flavor. The redfish entree was pretty but without distinguishing flavor. The ahi entree was simply tasteless. Again, the server and the facility were very good but the entrees were lacking.

From the moment you walk in the door your senses are aroused... The decor and interior design are stunningly beautiful. From the Atrium to the Historic 1866 Pure Mahogany Bar. The food and menu gives everyone in your party something to love. The Mixologist at the bar never fail to impress me. The best Old Fashioned I've ever had.

Eberly has a great a unique and well designed menu! You must try the sticky toffee dessert. I have had a number of fine dining experiences and Eberly is now in the top 5!

I was invited to the soft opening of this beautiful restaurant and it is AMAZING! The decor is absolutely gorgeous, and the separate bar (The Cedar Tavern) has this huge, amazing antique bar that must be seen. The service was great and I can't even describe how awesome the food is. Chef Tripi did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! This will definitely be one of our new favorites!

We went here on a Sunday evening. We did have reservations, but this specific evening, the restaurant was less then half full, so probably not necessary. We asked to sit in the atrium, which was brighter and although inside, allowed you to feel like you were outside due to the glass roof and wall of windows. We started with the crab meat covered cornbread, which was very good. There were 4 of us, and honestly, that portion was probably better for 2..... but we made it work. AS for main courses, my wife ordered the antelope and quail, my daughter ordered the red fish and myself and the other person ordered the scallops. We all loved the dishes. Portions were small, but it was still enough. We did order 3 sides as well, brussels sprouts, the mac and cheese and the potatoes. All were excellent as well. We then moved to the bar area to relax in the couches and ordered desert. Overall, the atmosphere is excellent, the food was excellent.. but be aware, it is definitely expensive.

Attended a dinner / client event with about 20 guests in the atrium(?) room and the service, food and ambiance was all great. The private room made it very easy to speak with everyone, hear the speeches, etc but you were still able to see all of the activity in the restaurant thanks to the glass walls. Would highly recommend.

Eberly is a pretty cool place, with at least 4 separate dining and bar areas — the main dining room, the atrium, the patio, and the bar. Each has something to recommend it. The menu is simple but the food is very good. We went for Sunday brunch, and the place was busy. The only reason this place is getting an ‘average’ rating is the poor service. Our waiter was forgetful, careless, and inattentive. Also beware those of a delicate nature — the bathrooms are unisex. Each is a separate fully-enclosed stall, but they are all together in one spot and the sinks are shared.

This was our 3rd visit to Eberly. The first two were average and this visit has slipped below the line into the poor range, unfortunately. We decided to order a bottle of wine and 5 smaller plates to share. We asked that they be sent out in a spaced, causal manner in no particular order. Apparently the kitchen did not realize that part of the instruction. About 10 minutes after ordering we received 4 at one. The 5th came about 5 minutes later. The standout was the bison tartare with sunchoke cream. My partner loved the unique texture and the freshness of the dish. The shells & cheese were exactly that. Nothing bad certainly, yet nothing memorable. They were not especially crunchy/crispy on top and had very few bread crumbs. As well, the roasted carrots were fine. Nice sized portion; definitely lacking seasoning. Speaking of seasoning, the crispy crushed potatoes had more seasoning than the two previous dished combined. I like salt, so does my partner. We were able to eat one bite each and had to send them back. They must have been salted several times with a heavy hand. Completely inedible. The server kindly offered to replace them, however we chose not to try them again. Then we had the grilled octopus. The exact sentence "this is the worst octopus I have ever had" was uttered. Overly chewy and the seasoning was off - in a way that is hard to describe. Some other reviews like it, so maybe just a bad night? We did not send it back as we were now just done with the entire experience. The service was fine. bar staff cordial and polite. However, we see no reason to return for this very mixed result.
The most beautiful dining space
Eberly has to have one of the most well appointed dining spaces I've eaten in. In addition the food is incredible! I highly recommend the filet. Make sure you speak to the sommelier as he is most knowledgeable and directed us towards an incredible wine from Israel! Make sure you check out the bar in the back that was brought from NYC. It is beautiful!
