Great quality for an airport restaurant

By monchercolonel |

This was better than expected for an airport restaurant, in terms of the quality of the food, service, and location. Worth a try if you have 45 minutes or more to spare. The Good A decent menu and good quality food. I had the artichoke polenta, and the tuna panini. Both were fine, but there was a bit too much garlic oil on the polenta. A good range of beers, draught and bottled. Polite and prompt service. A nice location, set aside from the main hustle and bustle of the airport. The Not so Good Just a bit too much garlic on the polenta. A bit pricey, but only just. I'll definitely come back here for lunch or dinner when passing through and with a bit of time on my hands.

Incredible.....

By Timezone Travelers |

Great meal and even better service. We had a new server and she was absolutely amazing. The food we ordered was prepared exactly as ordered and delivered fresh and hot and with a smile. This is NOT your typical airport dining (and that is a good thing!!!!)

Always a good spot when on layover

By KW Conch |

We always hit this spot when we have a layover on Atlanta, food and service is really good without feeling like you’re getting pushed out the door. This last time the exhaust fans weren’t working and it smelled like salmon cooking, we ended up smelling like that the rest of the day.

hidden gem - worth finding

By peripateticjim |

We were pleasantly surprised, having stumbled upon this restaurant on the F concourse where we seldom go, to find that it's very good by any standard, which makes it especially enticing as an airport dining option. They've managed to offer a fine menu without the shortcuts that seem endemic with airport operations - nice, quiet venue with crisp, attentive service, but most of all, very enjoyable food - much more creative and delicious than most. We'll be back...

Pasta with a Smile and Style

By Jeremy B |

We missed a flight and had the great luck to stumble upon Ecco. What a great find! Everything is made from scratch. We started with cheese, a wonderful blue, followed by a grilled romaine salad - yum! Our entree was the pappardelle pasta with braised pork, so good. The portions were perfect, the service (Anna) so engaging. In this warm, even romantic environment, we still were able to watch the game with jazz sifting through the air. Great place, great food and great times!

If it was local to me, I'd go again

By askPamandAllan |

a long 5+ hour layover till a red-eye. Wanted tasty food served well in a leisurely atmosphere. We sure got it in Ecco. Great staff. Shared a couple of appetisers tapas style. Had the chicken and the steak - both excellent and properly seasoned. The fries with the steak were superb. One desert plus coffees. Cocktails were excellent as well. Absolutely met our needs. Highly recommended.

Excellent meal.

Atlanta Airport International Concourse F

By Chuck452 |

Traveling to Europe and had dinner at Ecco while waiting for our connection. We both had the New York strip, and subbed the potatoes for the sautéed greens (kale), and added the roasted cauliflower with harissa sauce. Rita was our waitress, she's funny and very nice. The setting is nice, not an open food court. Prices on the higher side but the food is worth it. I recommend it.

Poorly Run Restaurant

By Dave C |

I should have gone somewhere else. When there is a tacky hand written sign on the hostess stand saying 20 minute wait and you see about half the tables are empty. Hire more staff. My waiter said he was bored. He needed more tables. Poor orchestration between hostess and staff. Look at pic of empty tables while people lined up outside to be seated. Food was average. The food was okay.

Airport Food at its Best!

By GoneAgain02 |

We usually don't have time to sit down and eat in between flights. But if you at ATL and do have time... head to Ecco. They have managed to block out the hustle and bustle and provide you with great tasting food. Service great. They even have a nook for your luggage. Fantastic!

Nice alternative to standard airport food

By Dianne1228 |

We had plenty of time before our flight so trekked to the international terminal to try this restaurant. They have a nice atmosphere in an 'indoor' environment, and also a 'patio' out in the main terminal space. The service was terrible. Although we were assigned a server when seated, she never returned. We quickly learned from other diners that you just have to flag down whoever is around each time you need something. It took forever to get our water and then our drinks. However, the food was served promptly. The pappardelle with shredded pork was very good along with the fried calamari salad. However, asked for the dressing on the side, but it came drenched with dressing. We also tried the fried goat cheese balls with honey drizzle. They were great but I would ask for the honey on the side. The people next to us ordered it and theirs was drenched in honey. Ours had just a little underneath the balls which was perfect for us. They have a nice variety of bourbons, liquors and wines. the pappardelle dish was a bit pricey, as are other entrees on the menu. We would try it again on a long layover.

And especially dismal experience. Don’t bother.

By SEbiztraveler2 |

The locations in Atlanta are much better than this. Our experience was dismal. Soda fountain was out of order, the server did the best she could, but the appetizer was split into two separate deliveries, both of which arrived 30 seconds before the entrée. There seem to be massive disorganization in the kitchen, and I think I overheard two people who quit. And, of course to make it worse, people who were seated after we were were served well before we were. There are so many other options in the “F“ concourse.don’t bother with this one.

Lack of choice in this terminal

By PUMBRIDGE |

While at least you can get a meal at this airside eatery, we opted to just have drinks in what is billed as a Mediterranean food stop. The problem with the north terminal is that there's a lack of choice for places to eat. Because of the pandemic, fewer people are travelling. The plus is that it's rarely crowded.

Best airport food.

By wooski |

Best airport food. We ordered take out to eat near our gate and was fresh and tasty. Wish they were in more airports.

Great place and service

By Luisrene |

Rita is amazing! Great place for lunch while in the airport. Great wine selection and menu. A must whilst in Atlanta!

Our go to in ATL

By GavinBlair2 |

This is my favorite stop for airport food. Brian went above and beyond to find my daughter ranch dressing and did a great job taking care of us. My wife and I always stop here during layovers if we have time.

Not to be missed!

By GCKJA |

If you have time time, Ecco is a must. What a delightful option when waiting for a flight at ATL. Located on the mezzanine of the international terminal, it’s easy to pass by Ecco without noticing. I’ve done it numerous time and now I’m kicking myself over lost experiences. ;) Ecco’s wine list is lovey, the menu is impressive, the prices are less than I would expect, and the food is fantastic! Service is usually good. Forget you’re stuck at ATL! Done at Ecco!

Good selection of wine - salmon not so good this time

By MarkduPaysan |

Generally like this place for a decent dinner and a good glass of wine before a long flight. Tonight the wine was excellent but the salmon was not

Surprising oasis in the airport

By AVLME |

We arrived at the restaurant at about 9:55pm. The staff was courteous, took our order and we realized they were closing at 10pm. I was also afraid the food would be lacking. However it was probably the best mussels I have had. I ordered the grilled romaine and appetizer mussels which were plenty for a meal. Very good with garlic, tomatoes and spicy broth. My husband had pizza which looked amazing and he said it was very good. The interior is nicely decorated and cozy. Definitely does not feel like an airport restaurant. The wines were excellent and a decent pour.

I always eat here

By Partner792 |

I always eat here when travelling through Atlanta airport and it's not bad. They serve reasonable beer and food and have a good wine list. Service is good and friendly. You can't go wrong with the steak frites. They could be a bit faster on service but otherwise all good for an airport.

Mood booster!

By Laura J |

After a frustrating afternoon of travel and getting stuck at the airport due to a delayed flight I needed a mood booster and I found it at Ecco. The food is really good and the staff is lovely.

Beware of underhand additions to the bill, food which was adequate, all added up to feeling a bit ripped off.

By Hannah_S-Y |

Food came quickly, it was a comfortable and pleasant environment to pass some time. The food was adequate. When the bill came I was surprised at the total cost. The wine had been substituted for another 50% more expensive without my being informed (when asked, I was told they didn't have what I had ordered, and "the price has gone up since the menu was printed") and alternative vegetables offered were more pricy than informed. By the time the service charge and taxes were added the total bill was, in relation to the quality of the meal and my expectations, pretty pricey. The experience left me feeling like the restaurant had taken advantage of time pressured clientele passing through, therefore unlikely to be repeat customers.

The best airport restaurant I've been to

By Pearsonw67 |

If you're at Atlanta airport international terminal and looking for somewhere to eat this is the place. Excellent service, great menu, nice atmosphere. Our waiter, Michael, really knows his stuff and provided us with service rarely seen at airports. Excellent.

Good, def not great

By crocuslover |

Had a couple hour layover in Atlanta so decided after seeing the menu, to try Ecco. Couldn't wait to try the wild boar bolognese!! Very nice restaurant with nice servers. We asked if we could share some bolognese over pappardalle and they said that was fine. Glad we shared because it was a large portion and I hate wasting food. The sauce ended up being just blah. Should have had WAY more flavor. Mine at home is better and I'm no cook. I wish this place was better! MAY try it again sometime and order the flatbread - that seems to have good reviews. Classy place though if you just wanted to duck in and have a glass of wine.

Pleasantly surprised

By Amy R |

Who would believe that you can get an excellent meal and drinks in the international terminal of an airport. But that is exactly what Ecco provided during a layover to catch the night flight to Santiago. Of special note are the signature cocktails, fried goat cheese, pappardelle pork, and short ribs. Note that there is an 18% service charge. But the waitstaff are helpful, professional, and worthy of this expense. They seek to accommodate you whether you have a short or long time to spend there. Best meal I've had in an airport.

Amazing airport food

By lucycan |

Tucked away in the upper level of the F concourse at ATL is this gem. They have "outdoor" patio seating which is nice. The service was perhaps the best I've ever encountered in Atlanta. Make sure you ask for Mo. The food was wonderful. What a great way to take a layover.

Great food - Better people

By Crissie C |

I've been to this restaurant a couple times. The food is always great! The pasta, Panini's and cheese balls are all amazing. I live in Canada, I left my phone at the table and boarded my flight. The folks at this restaurant let me know they had my phone and made arrangements to get it back to me, I'm beyond grateful. Southern hospitality is so REAL!!!

Try to get Josh as your server!!

By MadZim |

Great place kind of hidden away; food and service were both awesome. We ordered appetizers for our lunch (sharables), all of which were great, but one stood out! They have a fried goat cheese which is first dipped in a tempura batter; it's served with bread for spreading - was SO GOOD. Server, Josh, was amazing. So attentive, making food and drink recommendations. We will definitely return to Ecco the next time we find ourselves in the Atlanta airport:)

Great visit

By Flowerpowerfromtn |

Seated quickly. Great service. Drinks: Gigi’s were excellent, Taurus in chains will knock you out, Prosecco mixed drink excellent. Apps: goat cheese balls in honey were primo, lamb raviolis were definitely above average Entrees: spinach ravioli was amazing, wild boar was tasty and filling, roasted chicken was yummy Highly recommend this restaurant. But. Pricy.

Good Flatbread Pizza.....with extras

By Peripatetic_Engineer |

There are not many choices for eating in the international terminal at ATL, but Ecco is a bright spot. You can eat in or take away. Flatbread pizzas are very good for a light before flight snack or you can get a full meal. One warning, the bill will include a "service charge" and a charge for dining in, I guess to help pay for the rent. So check you bill before you add a tip.

Great Option Whilst Waiting For Your Flight

By Melanie W |

The food was very good. The service was efficient and the prices are quite reasonable however for those of you not accustomed to the ways of tipping in the USA, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill.

Disappointing

By vette999 |

Based on reviews here don't know what happened on our visit. We decided to order from the take out Ecco right next to the restaurant. Ordered flatbreads. We were told we had to go to the bar inside to pay. Bartender wasn't interested in taking our money. We had to flag down the Mgr to pay. Flatbread dough was not fully cooked. Toppings had no flavor at all, Very disappointing experience and start to our trip.

An airport surprise

By bristolpj |

In short, probably the best airport food we have ever had! Good service, not quick but fine if you some time before your flight. An excellent gin - Long Live the Queen - decent chablis, great artisanal bread. The Pan Roasted Chicken Breast was perfect, as far as being superb, with fingerling potatoes and sausage, the Pappardelle with braised pork equally good. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but well worth it. The only downside is the busy Starbucks right alongside the open plan restaurant.

QUICK AND COURTEOUS

By 2BFIT |

Enjoyed a glass of wine and an appetizer waiting for our BA flight to England! We visited the ATL Club and could not stand how crowded it was so Ecco was a great choice!

Quiet respite from the chaos

By Gluguy |

Had dinner at ECCO in the International Concourse (F gates) at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson while waiting on my flight. Very relaxing cool vibe out of the fray. Had the squid ink linguini with a side salad of charred Romain with walnut vinaigrette. All nicely done. Good food. Good service. Attentive to the fact that I might be short on time. Hard to find a good meal at the airport. This is one I’ll come back for.

Good food.

By Robertson;Mrs.a... R |

We decided to eat here 2 weeks ago before boarding our transatlantic flight. The restaurant is on the first floor of terminal F so away from all the usual noise and activity related to gates at airports. The menu is limited but covers most options from steak to pizza. The wine list was also extensive. The service was good but not quick, we had plenty of time so it didn't bother us. We both had the steak and frites dish which unfortunately had too much onion and balsamic for my taste but the actual steak was very good . Nice restaurant if you don't want 'fast food 'such as Chinese or hamburgers. The bill was typically high for being in an airport.

Expensive Lunch

By ValGary2014 |

We both had panini s for $15 apiece. A gratuity of 18 percent was automatically added. Service was friendly but slow. Will eat elsewhere when at the Atlantic airport.

Lunch before our flight

By Collin M |

A great experience and atmosphere We had the pizzas- both delicious Thin and crispy served on a wooden platter The white wine was cold which was nice to see as many times we have to ask for additional ice The staff were friendly and helpful Will definitely visit again

Better than fast food - interesting menu

By LisafromTonka |

Visited for dinner during a long lay over. I keep hoping for airport restaurants like they have in Minneapolis. Staff was decent - although not overly enthusiastic. Food was fine - but honestly every menu item had at least one bizarre thing about it. Half of the stuff I had never heard of. So - AMAZING bread, the chicken was very good - but it has a super hot kick - like my lips were burning for a half hour - and NO warning. I even looked at the menu on the way out. It was spendy - the chicken was like $23.42. - no salad - no choices. It was fine - just rather expensive with a somewhat comatose acting staff. (Like the hostess made us wait for 10 minutes for NO REASON and the waiter acted very nervous and had a nervous throat clearing thing going on....)

Not the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant

By ToandFro42 |

My husband and I decided to eat here at the Atlanta airport since we had more time before our flight. Our server must have been new. She didn’t know how to describe some of the dishes on the menu but gave me her favorites and other popular ones. The fried goat cheese was phenomenal. My husband ordered a flatbread with arugula and I ordered the pasta with the braised pork. Our food came out fast. My husbands flatbread was ok, was a bit sweet. My pasta had chunks of raw garlic and the peppers were overwhelming. The pork tasted like something from a crockpot. I sent the pasta back and ordered a mozzarella and basil flatbread. It took 30+ minutes for it to come out. My server explained that there were other customers before me. I am aware of the other customers around me and we went to eat close to 8:00. The restaurant was not packed. This experience was such a disappointment after all the positive reviews I had read.

Pre flight snack

By BrucePassmore |

Jennifer was a great server. Food and drink was excellent. The big plus was that I forgot my credit card and Ebi brought it to my departure gate. What a man.

One of the best at ATL airport

By csharplink |

I've eaten here several times when traveling internationally and it never disappoints. They have a well developed wine list and the foods are sophisticated. In particular, the pappardelle is quite good.

Delicious

By pbjprops |

Quality, delicious, healthy food. Enjoyed the steak frites and the lamb appetizer. Te staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Will make this our regular venue when flying out of ATL international. Good quantities, some dishes are large enough to share.

Great place to eat before boarding

By ThomasEMM |

ECCO is one of the restaurants in the international terminal where you get service. The menu is not super large, however the choices that are on there are good. I took a chicken sandwich (panini type) which was served with chips. Although it took a bit longer than expected it was very much worth the wait. For your information, gratuity is being included automatically on your check, it's policy in the international terminal for all the restaurants (I suppose to avoid the hassle with foreign tourists that are not aware of how tipping works in the US)

Good sit down meal in airport

By R. K. V. |

Good. The food was very good (especially in an airport setting). Steak was particularly good. Service good. Expensive

Goat cheese app

By Farrah R |

The food here was just ok with the exception of the goat cheese appetizer which was phenomenal! Like I would come back just for the goat cheese 🥂

Not exciting

By Rodhake |

From the outside, this looks almost like a proper restaurant. Once inside, reality strikes - it is a sports bar without peanut shells on the floor. The hopeful menu turns out to be a cover story for miscellaneous things served on flatbread. A panini is just a round flatbread cut roughly into four and miscellaneous ill-matched items slapped between the pieces. A pizza is a flatbread with some addon-on plopped on top and grilled. Very disappointing. The wine list is OK. The staff are trying, but I assume they are ground down by the fare they serve. They deserve the (compulsory) 18% tip slipped onto the bill for just trying.

Fantastic !!!

By maurizi01957 |

If you are going to have lunch at Atlanta airport it is a must to go to terminal F and have lunch here. It is Fantastic. Food and service as well !!!

Great Bar & Restaurant on Concourse F

By Genevieve Fynnyx |

I came in here looking for a glass of wine and I got a great choice. They were actually not overpriced. I wanted bubbles and I was allowed to sample two, to make up my mind. I had the Gustav Lorentz, Cremant d’Alsace Rose and it was sublime. Just what I needed. Great oasis in a busy day.

Long layover

By Lisa S |

It’s so hard to find good food in an airport, but we got lucky in Atlanta. We had great food and great service with Fiona. Thank you Fiona.

Fabulous treat

By Asamlie |

Decided to treat myself since I had over 3 hours. Had the Salmon Agro Dolce (with cabbage and arugula) - it was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the Hail to the Queen cocktail (gin, lemon, peach, mint, ...) - delicious. Ended with a mix of espresso and vanilla gelato. Really pleasant treat before my journey.

Super Friendly Staff, Nice Italian Lineup

By WineEng |

Tucked away on the second level in the F concourse Ecco offers a sane retreat from the hassle below. Staff is super friendly, the food is well prepared, especially the pasta. Well worth a stop and much better than fast food. Cheers!

Good place to relax.

By Vladi V |

Had two hours between flight. Decided to try a new place. Order fish. Fish was coco to perfection. Presentation was great. Only one thing spoil all experience everything was over salted. Chocolate fudge inside white cake was delicious.

A Food Gem in a Busy Airport

By z8ek2ce |

If you have a long enough (2 hours) layover in Atlanta, take the train to Terminal F and visit ECCO Restaurant. One of the first things you will be asked is how much time you have before your flight departs. This will set the pace of your dining experience. Fortunately, my wife and I had sufficient time to not be rushed and our waiter (Josh) made sure we were looked after but not hovered over. I had the chicken liver pate' as an appetizer and it was excellent. For the main course, my wife had the grilled chicken panini and I had the pork pappardelle. The panini was nothing to get too excited about but the pappardelle was outstanding. Overall this was a very pleasant dining experience and I would highly recommend eating at ECCO if your time frame allows.

Very bad experience

By Jean-Marc M |

Staff is friendly, nothing to say about it. But the papardelle dish with braised pork is HORRIBLE. It tastes a little better than it looks since it really looks like a plate of vomit! Sorry for the comment but first reaction that popped in my mind. The top pasta were overcooked and the ones under where’s sticked together hence hardly cooked! The whole thing floats in an ocean of tomato sauce and garlic… Really not to be recommended and way overpriced for the very poor quality.

Good food in a sit-down restaurant, pricey, inattentive staff

By Carol A S |

Ecco is one of the few sit-down restaurants in Terminal F (International Terminal) of the Atlanta Airport. It offers upscale italian-style food (appetizers, flatbreads, paninis, pastas and entrees) and a bar. The food is of higher quality than most of the other food purveyors in the food court, but it is also more pricey ($19 for spaghetti, tomatoes, olives and capers??), The restaurant is separate from the rest of the concourse, so it is less crowded, calmer and quieter. I stopped in for a gelato ($6); which was good when it finally arrived. Maybe because I was only having a snack, I found the wait staff inattentive (thank goodness I had plenty of time before my flight). I was disappointed that an 18% gratuity was added to every tab (even for a party of one), which seems to negate the idea of tipping to encourage good service.

Great option between flights TF

By PitaRG |

Only “restaurant” within the food court. Great Flatbed pizza and amazing chocolate cake. If you don’t want fast food this is definitely the choice. Very friendly by the way!!

Quick bit at the airport

By Golulumax |

First of all they add an automatic 18% gratuity. The food is good and unique for airport dining but overall not great. Hubs had prosciutto pizza but it had way to much arugula on it. I had the tuna panini with chips. The chips are homemade and a bit over cooked. We probably won't go back. It's in F terminal.

When you don’t want airport food

By katiehp2014 |

Located in one of the food court areas of the ATL airport, this was the only non-fast food place around my gate. It did not disappoint— I ordered the pizza/ flat bread and it was perfect size for me, but I had a big appetite. I ate the entire thing! It was delicious and great paired with a beer. Really excited to not have to eat junk food or fast before getting on an airplane. Be weary though the menu is pricey and they automatically add gratuity (even for my party of 1). One beer and the pizza was around $32 and that was one of the less expensive things on the menu. Good service and good food, though!

Best in the airport is not saying a lot......

By WoodCat1224 |

We ate here before our flight to Paris because we had enough time and wanted to eat a good meal before getting on the plane. The service was good but the food was just average. My salad was not the best, with bits of brown on the lettuce. Relaxing, but just airport food in the end.......

Expensive rip-off.

By Dinger B |

Having had a wonderful 3 week tour of the Southern states, we returned to Atlanta for our return flight home. Having checked in we went searching for liquid refreshment, we didn't need solids!! Went into this place and sat at the bar, over the next couple of hours had 3 pints of beer and 3 glasses of wine, very enjoyable. However, noticed that the bar staff changed but didn't think anything of it. Asked for the bill and was hit with a charge of $75!! I had lost my glasses that day so I couldn't read the receipt so just paid. It wasn't until a couple of days later, when back home I saw that an 18% gratuity had been added TWICE. Surely the gratuity is at my discretion? I felt ripped off.

Fantastic bartenders

By Keep Life Simple Allan |

Ecco has fantastic friendly bartenders. We had a 3 hour lay over and had a few drinks. Outstanding service. I highly recommend having a drink here.

Disappointing Given The Arrogance of the Host

By USexpatbiztraveler |

It was so hard to get into this restaurant (although there were empty tables), I thought it would be amazing. The goat cheese balls were good, the pappardelle was average at best. I am flying to Seoul and there are 5-6 humble places in the Incheon airport that blow this place away. Take the train one stop to One Flew South if you have the time, you will be glad you did!

Top Tapas

By TNtentman |

The small plates all tasty--surprisingly nice service and food. The Salt Roasted Sunchokes and Turkish Lamb Manti would be good anywhere.

Fine dining at an airport?!

By East_Coast_Foodie |

We were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant, ECCO, in the Atlanta International Terminal. Recently, we had a few hours waiting for our flight to Amsterdam and since it also was my husband's birthday we treated ourselves to a meal of Steak Frites and an excellent bottle of red wine. Food was delicious, service was stellar. In the future I plan on always arriving at the airport extra early so we will have time to dine at Ecco.

Another wonderful experience

By RGRCNwFl |

We had a light dinner here before a flight to Europe. My partner had a very nice panini which came, unfortunately, with a large side of fries that were so god we couldn't stop eating them, in spite of wanting to quit. I had the appetizer lamb manti. Soft little ravioli pillows stuffed with finely chopped and delicately spices lamb sat in a little puddle of yogurt. The lamb and pasta were divine. But the yogurt. Oh my, the yogurt--silky and warm, with a tease of tomato and garlic, kissed the taste buds and left a taste of romance.

Lousy service and management attitude - AVOID

By coopuk |

I had a 3 hour stop over in Atlanta whilst changing flights so thought I'd try this place. Put my order in, was told there would be a 45 min wait for food as they were busy - no probs. After 45 mins, no food. Asked the waiter when the food might show and their reply was, "oh, no food, we close in 30 mins" - and then walked chat to their friend, and both of them started laughing at "another dumb tourist" - their exact words. So - can't say anything about the food, as I didn't get any - but I can assure you that the service is non-existent. AVOID THIS PLACE.

10 out of 10

Good food/ poor hospitality

By Becca B |

Food was good. Service was mediocre. automatic 18% gratuity charge. We sat at the bar for 5-10 minutes before the bar tender came out from the back. She was very friendly. Other servers saw us sitting and didn’t try to go get bartender. Two were standing chit chatting for several minutes while we waited. There was a “wait here to be seated” sign but everyone was ignoring the people standing there. Crazy. I guess they don’t care much about customer service since gratuity is automatic which kinda defeats the purpose. We usually leave at least 20% but because of our wait and the auto gratuity we didn’t leave extra.

Nice

By April-Elin |

A rather fine dining experience at Atlanta airport. Very polite service. Very good panini with chicken and chips (homemade). The best place to sit down between flights.

Excellent choice

By Barbuda |

I spent a pleasant hour or so at Ecco whilst waiting from my flight. The server, Alisha, was extremely efficient and friendly. I sat in comfort at the bar - my drinks came without any delay and my meal was excellent especially the fried goat cheese. I will certainly visit Ecco on my next flight out of Atlanta.

last taste of Atlanta before take-off

By DimasV475 |

fantastic meal before embarking on a long flight, try the shrimp entree and they have great pasta and chicken meals

great restaurant while waiting for your flight

By lou_schreurs |

The serve nice food and offer nice wines. We enjoyed it very much. Branzino, fish is highly recommended, probably the best place in the international terminal.

Gluten-free good, great waitress

By Jean H |

Had a lot of time to kill before an international flight. Place was empty but we had to wait a bit for someone to come to the entry. Had a great cocktail and our food was good - I had bucatini and my husband had steak frites which was gluten-free. We had a great waitress, Jennifer.

Wonderful find

By William S |

A very pleasant find in Terminal F and worth a trip down from domestic terminals if you have the time. ECCO offers a nice selection of wines and beers, jerseys, sausages, and a small set of entrees. It was all quite tasty and our waitress was delightful. There was light jazz (not loud) playing though the Stanley Cup playoffs may have been on the tv. There is a bar as well as table service. It's a nice refuge from the ordinary that is everywhere else in this airport.

Relaxed and Pampered.

By Dennis W |

Excellent spot at the airport. Food is amazing. I had the salmon. Denise was the best. Felt relaxed and pampered while waiting for my connecting flight.

Good service and food

By Beccy J |

I chose to eat here as I didn’t like the food court seating and Ecco looked more personal/personable. The staff were very good and friendly. I had an appetiser - bruschetta type with cheese, egg, lardons. It was very good and enough for a small meal. The Chilean Sauvignon blanc was also good. Not the cheapest restaurant in the airport (but then all of them are expensive relative to elsewhere), but a good quiet haven away from the crowds with good service.

Best restaurant at the airport

By Gus S |

If you are travelling internationally then this is definitely the place to head to for your pre-flight meal! If flying domestic and have enough time to get to terminal F then it is worth it - makes all the other places at the airport come in number 2!

Good relaxed bar

By Alan C |

Whilst waiting on my flight I came in here for a drink and some food. Have to say the staff were great and really made you feel welcome. The atmosphere was good and the drinks reasonably priced for an airport. Worth a visit when travelling through Atlanta

Best airport wait ever!

Just had dinner here while waiting on a flight. My waiter, Ryan, was professional and patient, and helped me make some great choices. Haven't had service or food like this in an airport in many years.

Delicious food, AMAZING Service

By Olattimore0229 |

I ate here for the first time and the food was fantastic. I had a pizza which was delicious and extremely fresh! But even better than the great tasting food was our server Josh! His service was exceptional!!! He was professional, knowledgable, timely and made me feel very welcomed. If you ever want to eat here, ask for Josh, he will give you 5 star service. I will definitely be eating here again next time I visit Atlanta.

The only place to eat at the International Terminal

By the_larb |

So refreshing to see a nice restaurant at an airport. The perfect place to eat a nice satisfying meal before that long transatlantic slog. I always eat at airports as I hate meals on planes and this restaurant is one of the best. The food is great and tastes fresh and the service was first class; friendly and helpful guiding me to a lovely and reasonably priced wine. Would definitely return.

Definitely a "Yes"!

By SouthGaTravelGuy |

My wife and I stopped by for a light early supper before our flight to London, knowing the inflight meal would be less than spectacular. Ecco, an ATL-International Terminal sister of the great midtown Atlanta restaurant, didn't disappoint. Working with our friendly server, Jennifer, we had a combination of small dishes - a three choice platter of pate, prosciutto and mild Cana de Cabra with fresh rustic bread a bowl of light and lively fried goat cheese croquettes with black pepper and honey; and spicy roasted cauliflower - all delicious and chef-prepared freshly! So inviting I forgot to take photos. This is airport food? Yes - with an inventive flare. A definite yes for the next flight out.

Scammers

By ejr427 |

I had the appetizer salad with salmon. The lettuce was drenched in dressing and most of the leaves were brown. Salmon was under par. They automatically charge an 18% service charge plus another service fee of an equal amount which the server could not or would not explain. She seemed very shady when questioned about this. I paid in cash and had $17.37 coming back to me of which I never received the 37 cents. I felt like I was being blatantly ripped off by the server. This place is not worth the aggravation. I wish I would have gone to the taco fast food place instead. Stay away from this place.

Drank at the bar.. but the food looked good

By NikJ |

Definitely surprised at the quality that came out of the kitchens as I used the bar for a coupe of drinks. Food was hot and well presented - it was a bit pricey, though there is always a premium for food at the airport. Even at the bar there was a mandatary tip added. Seemed to be the only decent place to eat, other than the lounges.

Costly hideaway from franchise food.

By Robert B |

Nice place to have a leisurely meal in an elegant environment. Get a table on the balcony to view.the hustle of the airport crowd. Hire end pricing but not crazy. Great warm sourdough bread. Professional service. Can just order a nice cheese try nod wine or a full dinner. Nice wine list at high but expected prices.

Overrated and Overpriced

By The L |

I had the chicken sandwich, the bread was dry and not well presented. My wife's salad was a small portion considering the price. I don't mind paying for quality but I must say the food didn't match the upscale decor.

Classy Spot

By suz |

While awaiting an international flight to Argentina, this eatery offered delicious tapas and a large wine selection. Wait staff was elegant and knowledgeable. Great pre boarding spot. Will re visit asap.

So memorable I looked for this place 4 years later

By Michelle Z |

I made an international connecting flight through Atlanta 4 years ago and stumbled on this restaurant. I found out them make their ricotta in house and got the panna cotta for dessert and flatbread. When I saw my connecting flight from another conference this year went through Atlanta, I hoped to find the restaurant again. Because it’s domestic, I didn’t think I’d be in the same terminal to find it, but with weather delays the gate was changed. I stumbled on Ecco again and was pretty excited. The quality is still just as good, although I was hoping to get the panna cotta again but it’s not on the menu anymore. But what I got instead, cranberry apple, was exceptional. Everyone from reception to the waitstaff were highly professional and kind. I listened to them talking to others as well. There is clearly a consistent leadership and culture evident in service.

Runaway.

By Acolakoglu |

Visiting after COVID, understaffed, very slow. They couldn’t find the host to seat us, then mixed our order. After waiting 45 min and begging they brought us some bread. Unfortunately there is no alternative at ATL international terminal.

Nothing to drink

By christopher m |

I ordered a glass of Alberino but they were out. I ordered a glass of Riesling but they were out. They were out of most of the wine list. There server said the wine list was changing soon. Would have been nice to know this when we sat so we wouldn't have wasted time reviewing the wine list. Out of frustration I just ordered a sweet tea....no luck there, they only have unsweetened. Finally decided to just have a Coke. The soda must have been out because it was completely flat. Our order of fried cheese arrived quickly, but it was not that warm, but very tasty. About ten minutes later we got another order of fried cheese, which we did not request. It was hot and fresh from the fryer unlike the previous order. There were dirty tables everywhere and several employees standing around looking clueless. I left a generous tip because our server was sweet, and as I put my copy of the bill in my wallet I noticed 18% gratuity was included. This is probably why most of the staff is indifferent. I have dined at the other location in midtown many times, and it is amazing!!!!!

amazing service and food

By arc a |

I returned from my flight with my scared mom. We were served by Denyse again and she was as great as last time! Made mom comfortable! When we came we had Steak Frittes and they were absolutely amazing! You would never thing that this restaurant was inside of an airport. The manager Q was also great! They hold a special place in my heart for how they made me and my mom feel. Hope anyone who comes here gets to meet them.

Loved it!

By almliu |

Great menu. Nice food. Efficient service. We enjoyed our dinner and would recommend to anyone that has long layover. Worth it!

Best service

BEST RESTAURANT AT MAYNARD H JACKSON

By Alex Lamur |

My wife and I canvassed the airport for some health food and were so lucky to find Ecco the menu of which offered great and healthy food that is priceless. We were welcomed by a very charming host who like most Americans represent a tribute to worldliness and sophistication! We were served the Alisha the epitome of friendliness, authenticity of character with great knowledge of food and wine. She recommended a Merlot the favourite wine of my wife and it is the best Merlot I have ever tasted. The restaurant also has got an array of excellent beers including my favourite Weihenstephaner. I recommend this restaurant to all who love subtlety, pallet provoking food and service beyond excellency. We will be back in Atlanta later this year and will definitely come back AGAIN MY GREATEST COMPLIMENTS

Best Airport food EVER !!!!

By clopezs |

I travel a lot. And sometimes there’s no other option but airport food. I was starving today and was looking for The Palm or similar to have a good steak. I came across Ecco @Atlanta international airport (Terminal F). Ecco is just located by the fast food section. I took my chances. Ordered a Steak-Fritte. Not expecting much. First my server was awesome. He immediately suggested “medium-rate”. I thought: these guys know their business.... What happened next fully exceeded my expectations: I got a HUGE NY strip cooked to PERFECTION. I’m spoiled and noticed I got a “regular knife” and asked the server if they had steak-knives”. He apologized but immediately said: “you won’t need it”... ahhhh ??? He was absolutely RIGHT. The steak was so tender and cooked to perfection !!!!! What an awesome surprise !!!!!! Do not miss this hidden jewel in the middle of no-where !!!!

Surprise at the airport

By ATGre |

What a pleasant surprise to find a decent restaurant inside an airport! We had a long layover and wanted to find somewhere to eat. Ecco was a good choice. The food was quite good and service was excellent.

Excellent alternative when you have the time

By Jeffrey D |

Ecco and One Flew South are arguably the two tastiest restaurants in Hartsfield- Jackson Airport, and when I'm faced with a long layover at lunch or dinner I usually seek one of them out as an alternative to the fast-food alternatives. On our most recent visit my wife and I enjoyed the prosciutto-arugula flatbread pizza and the squid ink linguine. Service was excellent and my linguine was very flavorful. The pizza could have stayed in the oven a bit longer as the crust was not as crunchy as my wife would have preferred. (Next time I'll specifically ask for it so they don't rush.)

Food way too salty and no flavor . 18 pour-cent included ?????????

By Gargantua |

If you arrived around 10:00 pm they rush you to ordered the food . I ve ordered a bucatini with bacon and egg sauce . Way to salty and the only flavor was the bacon . Bad bad bad . Beer on tap expensive of course and they automatically put 18 pour-cent on the check . Go to another place

Beware: Wait Staff Plays Tricks with Gratuity

By SaraandBob |

The wait staff did not point out that the bill included the gratuity. The bill was inside of the leather folio and the credit card receipt was on the outside of the folio. If we did not look at the bill inside, we would have unknowingly tipped close to 90% for airport food. They should not present the customer with a credit card receipt which contains a tip line, if the restaurant has already included a gratuity. Very sneaky!! Many travelers probably will not notice that the gratuity is included as most are in a hurry when in the airport. The food and service were good, but certainly not worth a 90% tip.

Don’t waste your time!

By RecordCollector67 |

If you fancy a sit down meal in the International Terminal, you’re not exactly spoiled for choice. Captive audience & limited choice. It starts at the door, before you go in. That should have been a sign. The Greeter had an attitude from the start. “15 minute wait” threw a list & pen at us, walked off. Added our name, we appeared to be 7th on the list. But only 2 waiting. “They’ve given up & left” said an elderly gent sitting on his suit case. Oh dear. After 30 mins, he too gave up. Apparently they are “short staffed” - during the 45 - YES FORTY FIVE MINUTES - we were waiting to see what’s wrong. There is absolutely no Team Players there. The Greeter Greets. The Servers Serve. The Busboy talks on his phone. They all lean on the back counter. 23 tables to cleared, Nothing. Piles of glasses on the Bar, Nothing Seems there is clear demarcation by the staff. One lady in the queue asked the Greeter, “do you not clear the tables?” - “I ain’t doin that” & walked off. Far more productive to lean on the rear counter chatting to the server. After the aforementioned 45 mins our name is called. We sit down & are handed a drinks menu. “Could we have the food menu pls?” asked my wife. “Kitchen closed 15 mins ago” off she trounced. I’m livid by this time but the wife’s calmer head prevailed. Server returned to take drinks order. We asked for a glass of Pinot & a beer. “Ain’t got none. We have one white, one red & one bottled beer nothing else” Come on - really! Ecco Management - give it up! Shut the door, throw the keys under the shutter & give the lease back. You must be loosing money by the hour. Hopeless. You’re clearly not paying suppliers if your operating on ONE brand of bottled beer. Needle to say, we left. On the way out we tell the queue the kitchen was closed. The Greeter wasn’t going to do it. Truly the most shockingly bad experience I think I’ve ever had. I can’t see it lasting long. It could & should be a goldmine. Captive audience, airport prices. Shocking

Catered to everything for us!

By Kankead8 |

The meat and cheese plate was excellent, and our waiter knew we were headed to a show, so everything was timely! My Bronzino was very tasty, and so was the shaved Brussel sprouts! The pasta dish was excellent too. We really enjoyed the short ribs that we tasted as well. Overall, it's just as I remembered; very very good. Just wish we had of had more time .

Surprisingly good food!

By Gian Leocata |

Terminal F is probably your best bet for food in ATL, but Ecco blows it out of the water. Great food and I mean it. I ordered the Lamb Manti and it was like "Ok, you've got my attention" Geez, it was delicious, seriously. If you have time, get yourself in here and do yourself a favour. By the way, Josh, my server, superb service. Keep it up.

ECCO…. ECCO……..ECCO…………ECCO

By Le-Roi-de-France |

Airport food is notorious. If you find something passible you are delighted. Sandwiches burgers, chips and drinks are about it. Occasionally you find a bar od pub with a decent snack. I have just eaten in the best airport restaurant. I go early to the airport to eat there. And best of all it is Italian. While the menu has a number of good selections, I like the spaghetti with olives and capers. It is incredible. When paired with a good wine the meal is hard to beat anywhere but a startling experience at the airport. Unfortunately, it is past security in the International terminal (Terminal F) at Atlanta Airport. But if you have a connection thru Atlanta plan to spend a little extra time and have dinner. To enhance your experience, ask for Adam as your waiter. He is pleasant with a good knowledge of the food and wines.

Exceptional for Airport

By David A |

I wanted Varsity--even the airport is Atlanta after all and nothing is more Atlanta than Varsity! But my wife refused and insisted we try Ecco. Hate to admit it but she made the right decision. Great drinks and apps--absolutely try the goat cheese balls! Pizza, and Grilled Romaine salad, liver pate and everything was great. Ask for Joshua as your server! We will come when our return flight comes to Atlanta

Family Dinner

By Bbmizrahi |

This is our second time and it does not disappoint. More southern Italian with flatbreads and homemade pastas. We chose to do the fried goat cheese , strawberry salad and trout to start. All really good . Steak and flatbreads to follow and of course the cauliflower and fries were a must . Drinks are their strength with several choices in each category . Really good atmosphere but bar area where we sat was a bit dark . Both indoor and outdoor seating . Great meal !

Why change if it’s not broken?

By Eleo Dx |

Ecco was a mandatory stop for my family… though far from cheap, it was a highlight of long waits at Hartsfield-Jackson. My kids loved the flatbreads… so much so that they would have 2 at a time and would ask me to take some home when they were not traveling…. Why change? Different dough, different sauce, different cheese… totally RUINED! Below average is an understatement… please get the old one back!!!! Until then… we are gone…

Very good food for airport cuisine.

By Susan M |

Located upstairs in international terminal. Delicious flatbread pizza, nice drinks...Josh our waiter asked flight times to make sure we wouldn't miss our connection. For airport food, we felt it was very good.

Avoid! Understaffed and overpriced

By Will C |

Tried to order some pasta for 23$ but was bounced at the door as they didn’t have enough staff to serve me. Eight empty tables clearly visible in a half empty restaurant. Staff couldn’t care less. Avoid!

Pleasant surprise in Terminal F

By Sandy S |

Eating in an airport terminal can be a grim experience -- a matter of finding something reasonably healthy without expecting much in the way of cuisine or service. That's why this white-tablecloth gastropub in international Terminal F came as such a welcome surprise. The decor was sleek without being cold. The service was attentive without bein pushy. and the food was top notch. My charcuterie plate featured delectable smoked beef, creamy pate and toothsome sourdough. Top grades go to the side of green beans -- a more than generous serving of fresh, al dente green beans tossed in balsamic vinegar and sprinkled with pine nuts. Yum!

Amazing food

By JeanetteAwesome |

Hidden little gem among the food court. Decide to go in after I saw a lamb appetizer on the menu. OMG!!! It was delicious!!! As was the grilled romaine. Service was exceptional as well! Will definitely stop in again when flying out of this terminal before an international flight.

Airport Tradition

By TorontoJBo |

I love Ecco at the Atlanta Airport. It has become a tradition whenever I am leaving Atlanta to have a glass of Prosecco and a Chacuterie Board before my flight home. I would have given it 5stars for this review but they ran out of Prosecco on this visit. Although their wine selection is also good, I had my mind set In the Prosecco so that was a little disappointing. The 2 cheeses and pâté I selected from their offered cheeses and meat were delicious and just the right amount before I boarded. Great pit stop and makes you feel like you are eating somewhere other than the airport.

Colossal disappointment

By travchef |

Thought we would have a nice dinner befor boarding our flight - we were sadly mistaken. While the ambiance is quite nice, the service, the food and the prices were ghastly. The soup was delivered at a temperature not even lukewarm. The salad had all dark meat chicken and our server did not come by to check on us. The bread was good. Would not go back - the food on our Delta flight was better.

Deceptive Pricing Practices – Be Careful

By Bradford A |

After arriving in Atlanta from an international flight, we ate at Ecco in the “F” Terminal. Quite a few tables were empty but we were told there would be a 10 minute wait – which actually turned in to 20 minutes. The greeter was moderately polite but appeared to be engaged in controlled entry so the staff could handle the inflow. Once we were seated, the service was pretty good. Our four cocktails had La Vegas Strip prices, but were made fairly well. The food was average. The flatbread was large but lacked toppings. My NY Strip had good flavor, but it probably should have been called “NY Gristle”. The fries were soft and limp. Now, here is where my most significant issue is. The $175 bill arrived and it was just the credit card signature receipt with no breakdown of the charges. I asked for a detailed receipt, which the server did quickly and politely obtain for me. I quickly noticed there was an 18% “service charge” added. When I asked about it, the server said the tip was included but was put on the staffs paychecks – so they had to pay taxes on that amount. I made the decision to add a little more tip on but I must state that I felt the bill was presented in a deceptive manner. Overall, as airport restaurants go, Ecco has good service with expensive drinks and entrees. I would grade the food as “C” level. Keep your eyes wide open when the bill arrives and ask for a detailed breakdown of the charges.

Good

By William Y |

My usual spot to stop at before departing Atlanta...usually quite busy so I sit at the bar. Bartenders have always been attentive and knowledgeable.

Disappointing

By Pam P |

Horrible food. I’ve had Ecco food at their midtown location and it was much better. In the airport location the menu was SUPER limited and I tried the bucatini which was salty and disgusting and truly a waste of the $25 dollars in total I had to pay for with their ridiculous automatic 18% gratuity which servers want you to add even more on top of that.

Great food great experience

By Keith9609 |

My wife and I wanted a nice dinner before traveling to Barcelona. We were pleasantly greeted and our server Jermaine was awesome. I had the roasted chicken and my wife had the calamari salad. Both were excellent we have not gotten any better in higher end restaurants. They had a great choice of wines We chose one from Spain and the other from Tuscany region. Both were reasonably priced. All in all we had a great experience and was happy with the quality of service, food and wine for the price we paid

Great dinner

By Int_Bus_Travel |

This was a good restaurant by airport standards. It is worth hike to F concourse. Waiters we're great, my grilled chicken with fingerling potatoes was delicious, and they had a good selection of mixed coctails, wine by glass, and beers. Make the hike and you won't regret.

Convenient place to have a meal and a drink

By Xeuropn |

We were fortunate to catch our outbound flight in Terminal F. Much quieter and not so crowded. Stopped in here for a quick snack and found the food good. We split a panini and had a couple of beers. Not overly expensive and the wait staff were very attentive.

Best restaurant AND best staff!

By Brenna2006 |

Ecco has always been my favorite place to stop for a nice meal when I have a long enough layover in ATL. The food and service is always great! Last night, I happened to be traveling with friends and we we came with a group of 8. The food was delicious and our server, Genesis, was fantastic. I later realized when I arrived home in Florida that I had left my purse at the restaurant! I was freaking out, but Genesis had found my purse and locked it up for me in the safe until I could make it back the next day. Ebi, the manager, was so nice and helpful. I will always return here as my only spot for a great meal and great service at ATL. Thank you, Ecco!!

Memorable prices for very good food

By Grover |

Very good food for an airport and nice wine list. However, unless your employer is paying for it or you have a large food budget, the prices are way too high for a return visit. We had the famous fried goat cheese balls, a soppressata flat bread order, and 2 glasses of mid-range wine that cost $60 after all fees were added. Food was good, but I remember the price/good food ratio more.

Nice setting - great food!

By Gudrun R |

The relaxed atmosphere is a great bonus, when dining at the airport. We have been here before and really enjoyed it again - well presented food of very good quality, friendly staff - altogether a good choice for Lunch or Dinner. Location is great - you can look around and the seating is spacious - nice place - will be back, when traveling again!!

Good bar, good menu, inattentive staff

By Mark T |

The menu is good, the drink selection is broad but the staff where surprising inattentive for an airport restaurant.

Ecco at Atlanta airport

By jpdtiga |

Hands down the best airport experience meal I have ever had in my life. I have traveled over 750k miles. Perfect no. But if you travel through Atlanta and you have time, stop by and enjoy the food. Service was excellent too. My server -- I sat at the bar-- was attentive and provided perfect recommendations.

Salty place to eat

By Noe R |

Worst place to eat in the airport.. To salty waiting a long time for the servir.. Charge you 18% for service and also the waiters wants even more..

Decent sit down meal a bit pricey

By Jim W |

We had a long layover and were flying out of F concourse and decided to sit down there for a meal. The service was OK for airport quickness, not great. The steak was well cooked, but nothing to run to that concourse for. The cuisine is trying to be more "international" but nothing really great to go out of the way for. The meals are a little pricey, even for airport food. If you are in F concourse it is probably best sit down restauraunt meal you will find.

Thankful Tastebuds

By JenRyan |

This is not airport food, wonderful food with punches of flavor. Ambiance is quiet, intimate and that of fine dining. The red lentil soup is the best I’ve tasted, be prepared for some heat, it’s the good kind. The bread is artisanal and the fried goat cheese is an appetizer but could be a desert.

Nice change

By Luvnlifetogether |

My husband and I were looking for a sit down restaurant, instead of the normal food court food. I ordered a pasta with shredded pork, it was really good. It was nice to be able to relax after an international flight.

Magnificent! 😚

By Jillschillin |

While at the International side of Atlanta airport concourse F we found this wonderful restaurant called ECCO; it was absolutely wonderful! The food would be considered Mediterranean....everything made to order and very fresh! 🤤 Ahhhh, so good! We had the salmon special with grilled cabbage on the side and the spicy green beans (great with bread). The bread comes fresh to the table still very warm and super great with a little butter! Our server Joshua was great and on it!! Thank you all for making our dinning with you special! Great job!! 👏 🤗

Pushy service, terrible prices

By Edimann |

After eating well all over the US, this restaurant was a dreary end to my trip. The prices are outrageous for small portions and simple food. The service was very pushy, even for the US: "Your service comes with chips, Sir, I can swap then for fries if you like" "Oh, thank you very much!" "That's my pleasure Sir.........oh, it will be another $4" "Oh, why didn't you say so" Lots of that throughout the meal. An obligatory 18% service charge stuck on the bill is clear stiff for those on expense accounts. Avoid.

Great way to relax prior to international flight

By GeorgiaBirdGirl |

If you are on the international concourse at the ATL airport, treat yourself to drinks and appetizers prior to flight at this charming location. Great selection of wines! It made an upcoming long flight much more pleasant.

Oasis in the middle of ATL Int'l Airport

By Mary R |

Had a long layover in ATL in terminal F, so went into ECCO. It's a European type restaurant. Server asked how long we had, which was nice. My husband had the lavender infused lemonade which was very good. He had the garlic shrimp, which he thought was very good - spicy but not too much. I had what was essentially a margherita pizza, which was good, but nothing special. My husband got a meat board, with three Italian meats - prosciutto, sopressata and finocchiona - served with grilled onions and a mustard peach side to cut the fat left in the mouth and cleanse the palate. Server, Rita was very nice and helped us with menu. We sat out on the back "patio" area, which was a bit warm. Overall, a nice break from traveling all day!

Very good for an airport

By IanFarnell |

As airport food goes this is very acceptable. At 6.30pm the only place open in the international terminal. Short menu excellent bread and flatbread straight from the oven. Steak frites fine. Really good fresh made cocktails. Good wine by the glass. Competent friendly service. Far better than the business lounge!! Not cheap but you would not expect it to be.

ATL @work and a cold beer

By Stephane Yves D |

I never find anything on large airports, this time I used MapOmega (should give them credit) to navigate, and after security on Domestic Terminal, I went straight to a cold beer at Atlanta Hawks Factory on Gate A34 (did not even know existed at ATL). I saw construction work outside but none inside Concourses. Also, if you have an issue, ATL respond fast on Twitter. Plenty of art exposition along the way and a Sax that gives a little touch of human feelings in this massive airport. Few times here but already feels like home.

Amazing food - airport or not! Top notch service too

By R. Traveler |

This place was amazing - highly recommend the braised pork pasta dish. (The bartender recommended it and she wasn’t wrong) Airport food can be hit or miss but this meal was top notch for any restaurant. Good drink options as well and attentive service. A little slow as it gets busy but as long as you have an hour or maybe a little longer you should be ok. Just let them know if you’re pressed for time. Highly recommend!

Do not eat here if you expect good food and swift service.

By JensAddictions |

Atlanta airport doesn’t have a massive choice when it comes to places to eat before a flight, Ecco on the surface looked like the best of a bad bunch, but it ended up being a truly awful experience. The manager was rude and dismissive from the moment our party of six first arrived. She claimed to have nowhere to seat us despite there being two empty tables by the door. After waiting a few minutes she led us to an area which had several other empty tables. To be fair our waiter was much more pleasant. We ordered drinks and a sharing starter. The drinks came but only half the starter was brought out, with the other half being delivered to the table about 20 minutes later. After ordering our mains we waited about an hour for the food to come out, even after asking a few times why it was taking so long. When it was eventually brought to the table, it still took about ten minutes to bring all six meals out, it was luke warm, overly salty goop that was barely edible and certainly not the pleasant food we were hoping to enjoy before a long flight. The bill was huge and carried an 18% mandatory service charge. We challenged this with the manager reminding them of the terrible service and awful food but she refused to remove it, instead giving us a “discretionary” 15% discount. I wish we’d have just walked away without paying. I’d seriously rather be arrested than eat here again. So, my advice to anyone tempted by the look of this place; avoid like the plague!

Bad Airport food

By Joe W |

We got to our f terminal hungry and saw what appeared to be a nice place to eat .We walked in the bar had 3 people at it .The waitress said yo have to wait in line there was no line 10 min later she said i can seat you now .at the bar .that was pretty empty .It was dark .the beer taps .all 15 or 20 had no handles .We sat for another 10 min no service .The bar smelled so bad we had to leave it smelled like the worst stale beer stench i had ever smelled .This is the worst place to go that i had ever been to .This needs bar rescue. The owners should fix it or close it .The health department should be notified. I travel all the time and i will never go back

Who knew?

By Bernie M |

Who knew you could find something different and delicious at the airport. Had some time on a layover and stopped at Ecco in terminal F. Good selection of small plates and nice wines. My wife had the tuna panini with chips and thought it was perfect. Chips were crisp, golden brown, and nicely seasoned. I had a selection of meats and cheese, and the goat cheese with honey; perfect. Our wines were excellent. Service was truly exceptional. They do add on a 18% gratuity but that did not bother us, we often tip more. We would repeat. Recommended.

Worst panini in Atlanta airport

By NilfromATL |

Just picked up a chicken panini at Ecco from its takeaway stall. Besides the small size the chicken inside barely covered half the sandwich. Was very bland too. Better stick to regular franchise food stores around here.

Wanted a sit down restaurant in ATL

By southerntraveler1989 |

If you have other options….. maybe take one of those. Our waiter was nice. However the hostess wasn’t very friendly nor nice to people. The fried goat cheese was very tasty. Limited menu. Food was good but nothing to justify the prices. Reviews complained about the 18% tipping - but it is on the menu. $80 for an airport meal needed to be much better than this.

Lay over

By Ross K |

What a great surprise to find a restaurant that should be outside an airport in an airport. Staff were great, good suggestions for apps, wine was awesome. Great music and environment. Flat breads, shrimps and braised lamb wontons were terrific Anna the server was top notch. Good job

A cut above

By KyleKman |

A cut above anything you’d expect in the airport. We had fried goat cheese and lamb manti appetizers that were just delicious. Beer menu includes local brewery, and top shelf cider. Nicely done.

Really nice ATL airport pit stop for lunch!

By chrisDTW |

I was stuck in ATL airport for a few hours and was hungry and thirsty after a meeting, and knew nothing onboard would be tasty, so I sat at the bar at ECCO in the F concourse and ordered a German Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier on draft, which was soooo tasty! Super sweet bartender Stephani was alert and attentive to all her customers. Since I'm vegan, she proudly recommended the Savoy Cabbage appetizer...YUMMY! I paired that with a Fillaboa Albarino wine (she let me taste it first) and my neighbor, (also traveling to Seattle) ordered a vegan green bean stir fry (not sure what the name of it was, but she loved it). Yes, the 18% tip was annoyingly added to the check. Annoying, because Stephani deserved my standard 20%, and you couldn't add that, and I had no cash. Meanwhile, THANK YOU, Stephani and Ecco….I hope Stephani is back to work when COVID19 is over

Fabulous Experience

By Robin D |

Prior to a attending a performance at The Fox, several friends and I ate dinner at ECCO. The service was efficient, professional, and friendly. We ordered two of their signature cocktails with which we were quite pleased. The menu, while not extensive, offered entrees for our varying tastes and needs. We each agreed that our entree choices were distinctive in taste and uniqueness. ECCO is now a new favorite!

Wonderful and relaxing dining experience while in between flights in ATL. Service from Alisha our server was superb- friendly and attentive. Will the manager was also incredibly nice and stopped by a couple of times to check on us. Very relaxed dining and suggest you choose a table "outside" on the patio overlooking the International Concourse. Had the Lamb Manti which was terrific; they also had a very nice wine list and prices were reasonable. So if you have some time while changing planes in ATL and want a nicer dining experience I highly recommend checking out ECCO.

Best meal in an airport ever

By bigchet |

Ask for Louie! Superlative server. Stek frite and foies gras are great. Feels more downtown than airport. Traveler more than 2 million miles in 50 years and never ate such a good meal in an airport. Give it a try for a preflight meal and skip the deplorable airline food.

Pleasant surprise

I never expect to find good food in any airport but in F terminal there is this hidden gem. Pork chops were great! Muscles Great! (Toast was burned)! If you have time and want real food check out this place

Avoid this place - unacceptable service and mediocre food

We're from Atlanta and have enjoyed the Ecco locations in Midtown and Buckhead. THIS Ecco, however, is an embarrassment to their brand. I was here with my husband and daughter five years ago, and we not only had a completely meh meal, but the bartender/waiter was the angriest I've ever seen a restaurant worker be to all customers he interacted with. I felt unsafe by the end of our meal, he was so unhinged. Fast forward five years, and we decided to try it again last week. BIG MISTAKE. It took over an hour for our flatbread to arrive. Our server never checked back with us, and there were several times when we couldn't find even one server or hostess. No staff member in sight except for the kitchen crew. Not sure what they were doing since there's no way a flatbread should take over an hour. Our server finally re-appeared and said, "It's the kitchen's fault." This from a woman who until then hadn't shown her face for at least 45 minutes. Not sure what your strategy is here, Ecco managment and owners. If it's to poison your reputation and brand, you're doing an outstanding job.

Exquisite food. Do stop here for a bite before catching your glight

You will not be disappointed. The pate is a superb taste and texture. The shrimps are gorgeous, succulent. Lovely crisp bread and a love wine list. We had a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. The best airport food we have ever had. Anthony our server is very attentive and knowledgeable. A lovely guy.

Great pre-flight stop

Was impressed. A great menu of food (lighter bites or full meal) and drink - had a nice IPA and the mushroom flatbread. Our party sat in the ‘outside’ section, but the indoor part of the restaurant looked equally inviting. Service was attentive but not overbearing and prices are reasonable.

Good Wine; Bland Food

Visited during a layover. The random neighbors at the bar were more interesting than the food. Flat bread had no flavor. Bravo for a good wine list, though.

Best Airport Food Ever

Transit through Airport

Very good food, friendly service, for a airport restaurant, good quality, a little on the expensive side, would definitely eat there again, the Branzino was served whole & cooked to perfection,

Amazing time with Denyse and Michael.

Denyse was amazing. On my return flight she made everything so comfortable. The steak frites was amazing. Michael the manager was also amazing.

Worst service and food at Ecco Restaurant for $27.00

By Bouchra S |

The absolute worst service I have had in a long time. I stood for at least 20 minutes to be seated and I was the only one in line. Got seated and all they were worried about was closing when they still were meant to be open for an hour. I ordered a chicken panini and fries. Fries were so oily and the panini had about three small pieces of chicken. I ate three bites and could not eat any more. The staff were yelling at each other and the person that I think was the manager was fussing with the waitress and she was the only one serving the tables. She walked by my tabling cursing him out and saying she was not a robot and then a few minutes later he brought my food out and said here is your panni and walked away. Terrible service and terrible food

What a happy surprise

By Kate P |

Really had no expectations that this would be other than a watered down version of the real restaurant, with all the rush and crowds of an airport. What a surprise to have food every bit as good as the *real* restaurant- and service to match- in an agreeable and pleasant space. The food ranged from really good, to exceptional- sometimes in the oddest places. Who knew that cauliflower good be *that* good? The grilled shrimp and fried goat's cheese were also exceptional. One of us really loved the artichoke polenta, the other was a little less sold- but it we agreed that it was good! We really enjoyed our meal, and the really professional service by Jerry.

Wonderful dining experience

This hidden gem on the upper level of the international terminal will be our to go to restaurant when we fly through Atlanta. Exceptional service (Thank you-Josh!), quiet & relaxing atmosphere along with very good food reasonably priced makes searching out Ecco a no brainer

Great sit down option at the Airport

By Indah Edlightz |

This Ecco location is at the Atlanta Airport and its a very good sit down option if you want a quiet location and not be part of the food court. Its not a large restaurant , so there is a wait time to get in but its nice and quiet and relaxed. The staff here is very friendly and very good selection of beers and a full bar. The food is a mix. The pastas and apps were good.. the flatbreads were dry, thin and not great. The pasta was very good though. There is an area to store your luggage away from your table and staff is great to get you out when you need to get to the gate.

Excellent Airport experience

After the terrible Outback experience I was in a bad mood but my goodness how did this turn things around. Excellent service very professional and attentive, great recommendations for beautiful papadelle pasta with accompanying glass of red wine, warm fresh crust bread. A real treat cheered me up on my journey.

Slow and indifferent service.

Slow and indifferent service. Waited 20 minutes to get a drink. The only thing they did quickly was bring the check. Paid the 18% service charge because I’m British and can’t do confrontation.

Excellent for an airport

May be the best food we've had in an airport! In the International F Terminal. Generous portions, good selection of drinks and food.

Dirty, bad and expensive, 18% tip mandatory

By maurici0gutierrez |

Last November 10th had a very bad experience at this restaurant. Tables, floor and general places were dirty. They charge 18% with the food for tip. When I asked questions the waiter changed her behaviour. Unpleasant stay. One steak and 2 glasses of wine 102 us dollars. Not worth.

Best restaurant in the Atlanta international terminal.

By captainsteve2016 |

Had a meal here in the International terminal while waiting on my flight. Great food, service and ambiance for an airport restaurant. The food seemed hand made as advertised. We had the goat cheese balls as an appetizer. Excellent. I then had the prosciutto flatbread. It was delicious and not too filling. A bonus is that they have a great liquor, beer and wine menu. They had Weihenstephaner on tap. Wow. My favorite beer. This will be my restaurant of choice in the Atlanta international terminal. They also have jazz playing in the background and a nice second level perspective of the jetway.

Excellent airport restaurant

By David P |

Usually when you go to an airport restaurant you know and feel like you're in an airport and the ambience is lacking or false. We were waiting for our flight to London and weren't attracted to the other options. When we were first shown to our table it was in a mock outside area looking out onto the Starbucks sign.We asked to be moved inside. We just had one dish each plus wine and coffee. My wife had a zucchini panini and I had the pappardelle braised pork. Both were excellent. They asked us when we arrived when our flight was and as it was one time off we wern't rushed. A great restaurant to escape to!
