I went here for a business dinner and we sat in the back semi-private area. I returned the next day for lunch. I was staying at a nearby hotel, so this was the best option that wasn't a chain restaurant. It is American cuisine with good sharing plates. The service was consistent. I would recommend this restaurant for a mid-level lunch or business meal as I had the opportunity to experience both. It was not a "wow" but it a pleasing. No complaints.

The venue is amazing but that's where the superlatives stop. Food was just okay and wine list, while extensive, was short on Tuscan wines which was surprising.

We were shopping at Nordstroms and Ecco was recommended by an employee. We walked over and were very happy we did. The restaurant is beautiful. We decided to dine out on the patio which was quite nice with its greenery. Our server Stephanie did a great job. We decided to share some small plates and took several of her suggestions. She had excellent knowledge of the menu. It was hard to choose. So many choices. The fried goat cheese with honey and yellowtail tartare(very fresh)were favorites. We loved the huge Bangs Island mussels in a delicious broth. The wood grilled cauliflower, broccoli with Parmesan was another highlight. For dessert, the Viennese chocolate torte with morello cherry, white chocolate mousse and fior di latte gelato was incredible and large enough to split. They had nice cocktail, beer and wine selections. There were some fish entrees I'd love to try next time. We will go back.

After 4 attempts to reserve a table at Ecco Buckhead, finally we were able to get a 7:45 table for me and my husband. We loved Ecco in midtown, and were very happy when this one opened in Buckhead. The place is so beautiful! even so it was full last night, it felt lifeless....and the food was such a disappointment!!! We don't have a problem with Cheap ingredients as long that its fresh an well prepared and tasty... one dish was very good - tuna tartar - but was hardly enough for one person...

Ecco Buckhead is phenomenal. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the ease of getting in and out for lunch with the $3 valet parking. I had the lemon bucatini. It was so good. I fought over it with my mother who was very cautious when I ordered lemon pasta. My steak frites or wood-grilled skirt steak was delicious!!! My mother’s grilled half chicken served boneless was juicy. Yum!

The whole family was staying at the Marriott AC hotel because my daughter had flown in from Hawaii with her daughter who was one of the invitees to the scholarship weekend at the Oglethorpe University. With all the excitement, we had waited too long to make our commitment at another restaurant and none of us were excited about getting back into Atlanta traffic. This made walking over to the Ecco a no -brainer. This is a very modern and upscale restaurant with a very good vibe. It bustled. Surprisingly without a reservation and with a party of six, we were seated without hesitation. As you go around the table, there were two orders of pork tenderloin, my daughter with her not surprising order of flatbread, my son who ordered the pork chop special and last but not least, my granddaughter had Cannelloni. Everyone seemed to be more than happy with their entrees with the exception of yours truly. Pork tenderloin is one of my favorite dishes. I have eaten it all over the world. Somehow, unless these people were getting their tenderloin from a fetal pig, I have never seen a pork tenderloin presented in a casing, like a hot dog or a sausage and about the width and length of a polish. I don’t know what this was but I guarantee you it was not the”traditional “ pork tenderloin in appearance or taste. My curiosity has been really peaked. A survey of the remaining five diners proved completely satisfactory. Despite my criticism, The place is worth a stop.

The restaurant decor was warm and cozy. The service and staff were very courteous and attentive. The food was great the fried goat cheese balls and dessert were absolutely amazing. The Bee Sting Cake w/crunchy sugar was worth every calorie. We were celebrating two birthday’s and ECCO was the perfect place. I will be eating there again

The food was amazing and Jade went out of her way to make my dining experience the best. The Cacio e Pepe was very good and complemented with a greens salad that was simple yet very tasty!

First visit to Ecco Buckhead. Reservation fine seated promptly. That is were things started to unravel. Ordered a bottle of wine, they were out. Limited menu. Ordered a salad server returned they are out. We had to ask for utensils. Ordered a steak and sea bass server returned out of steak and fish. Ordered another entree with no mushrooms, it came with mushrooms. Ordered dessert which was supposed to be on the house, plate dropped on table broke dishes and water glasses. One dessert put on our check. What a horrible dining experience. Went to get car at valet parking, seat soaked from valet attending. Food really average, not sure I will ever return.

In Atlanta for business. Told solo dining in bar only. Ok only I don’t drink and find bars noisy. Felt ignored and uncomfortable. Waiter asked other groups sitting by me if they wanted refills or another drink. Not once asked if I wanted anything else or even refill of pop/water. Food ok. Will not return or recommend for solo diners.

This was the second time our family was there for a special occasion and this time was for the brunch on Easter Sunday. The price point ($65) was too high for the selection of items, quality and service. We had a 11:30 reservation and many items on the cold buffet table were already limited and not appetizing due to the poor presentation caused by guests with no follow up from the staff. The hot item selection was limited to ham, lamb, a salmon dish and rosemary potatoes. The shrimp cocktail was comprised of two shrimp not much larger than popcorn shrimp in a small plastic container which was very unappetizing. The service was lacking in terms of clearing the plates in a timely manner. All in all, it was not a good experience.

Ecco has an excellent location outside the mall and by the AC hotel. Parking is available. The after effects of COVID were still evident in that we were only able to seat at the bar. This is a very nice restaurant and the bar area is quite nice. We started with the grilled octopus and the side of frites. As my wife is Vegan, the chef made as an entree the grilled asparagus without the prosciutto, and fava beans. I had the bucatini for my entree. Everything was very good! The fava beans and bucatini was top shelf. Adding in a few glasses of wine and we had a very good meal. Definitely a place where we will return.

Came upon this when walking around and decided to come back for a light dinner. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a flatbread that my husband proclaimed was the best ever. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. Great experience.

It was Saturday night, we'd had a long day and didn't feel much like traveling especially when we knew that Ecco was literally 20 yards from the front door of our hotel. So, a no-brainer! I think the restaurant is pretty new, it has a very nice vibe, it's upscale without really trying. The food was excellent and the service was all that you hope for. The only small problem was that we had a booth near the bar and there were a bunch of guys who were not rude more over exuberant so as I was eating I was kinda anticipating my drink being swept off the table at any moment!

overpriced wines Bad menu.....some items unedible ...too salty Slow amateur service. Don't know where people who gave this restaurant ate, but not here. Don 't know what they are trying to do or what cuisine, but they don't do anything well.

Had the smoked pork tenderloin entree for over $35. Came with a serving of kale with corn and onion I think. No bread service offered, no table cloth. The pork consisted of 3 one-inch slices. Not much food overall, I almost had to stop on the way home and get a snack.

We have a lovely date night dinner at Ecco last weekend. We mixed up our reservation and arrived a little late, yet the hostess seated us right away at a lovely little corner table near the bar. We ordered the fried goat cheese, crab pasta/Casarecce and Papadelle. I thought the Papadelle was a little soupy, but the crab pasta and fried goat cheese was fabulous. We were brought complimentary bread (some reviews said bread is a charge) and our server (also the bartender) was outstanding - attentive, prompt, and all-around wonderful. Hubby said his cocktail was the best gin and tonic he's ever had. The restaurant layout and ambience is nice. This was our first time at Ecco and we will definitely come back.

⸻ On a recent business trip from Florida, after hours of traveling, we booked our stay at the AC Marriott in Buckhead—an ultra-modern, beautiful hotel perfectly located across from Phipps Plaza. To our delight, just steps from the hotel, we discovered Ecco. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine Southern hospitality, a perfect ambiance, and truly impeccable service. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Ebun—thank you for your thoughtful and spot-on menu recommendations. Every choice was a winner. And Lavette, the chef—you are incredible. Everything we tasted was amazing, especially the wagyu burger and the pasta, both absolutely exceptional. You both have given us a wonderful reason to return. Happy New Year

Lovely restaurant, very friendly service. A great space at Phipps Plaza. Food a little disappointing. The focaccia bread is amazing though. The plates to share are very skimpy, three shrimps for two people! Would I go again, well maybe.

We eat out about six days a week so we visit a lot of spots. Ecco Buckhead is our top pick at the moment. This was Sunday brunch. Started with fries with sherry mayo as a shareable app. Piquillo peppers. The tuna salad is one of the tastiest, well balanced salads I’ve eaten. Coconut parfait was delicious. They treated us to the sea salt dark chocolate chip gelato to end. Just a wonderful meal, sad that it was over, kind of wonderful. Until next time...

I am sure a number of people end up in Nordstroms car park as they visit this restaurant, and indeed you can walk from one to another, but they have valet parking at the restaurant if you want to pull up right outside. The decor is modern with tall ceilings and good lighting. The main part of the restaurant can get noisy so request something by the window if that bothers you. There is also a nicely appointed bar. The menu has a good variety to choose from and my Dorade was fabulous as was the goat cheese balls covered in honey. The flatbread was also very delicate and tasty. There is a decent wine list and the service was attentive but not fussy. We took our time on a Saturday evening and the place was packed. I would definitely go back for a return visit.

I have tried Ecco at the airport and enjoyed it so I thought it was an easy choice to try Ecco in Buckhead. Charming setting. Food was delicious but service was slow and then the pasta was served quite cold, as if it had sat on the pass line too long waiting to be picked up. The server disappeared after quickly dropping the dish on the table, not to be found again. I waited a bit, then gave up, it was tasty, but a shame it was not hot.

My husband and I had lunch here a few weeks ago. We love the ambiance and the service has been excellent. The food is very good, and it is nice that they change their menu from time to time because my husband has a hard time finding too much to eat there for lunch. Our server was Ines this time and she was really nice.

I arrived to my hotel early evening on Sunday, this place was next door and open, so I went for a quick bite as hotel restaurant was closed. Got personal size lamb pizza at the bar + sparkling rose. The pour of rose was very generous, bartender was friendly, willing to provide an advice when asked. Overall service was good, so was my pizza. Also (as two other guys joined me later) got a half piece of Pawlova (well I would not call it that way as it was far from original. But name semantics aside - it tasted good). Good value for money spend.

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a co-worker and was not disappointed. The menu is very different but the food tasted great. I highly recommend the fried goat cheese balls. My waitress was also very knowledgeable and was able to recommend good food choices to me since I was not familiar with the cuisine. Be prepared as the flavors in the food are very strong - particularly the garlic and olives.

Food and service was good but a very unusual menu. I wanted the seafood sandwich done as a salad and they were able to do that quite well and a large serving. My husband's chicken salad was just fair. Have been there 3 times for lunch and the duck ragu was outstanding. Service was stellar all 3 times

We traveled to Atlanta from Seattle during COVID. The three of us arrived at our hotel a bit late...and hungry. Hotel amenities were shut down but luckily Ecco was open. We all order various, different things and everything was great. Don't think you can go wrong on any menu item. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. I ordered scotch double and I think it was a quad...thank goodness I wasn't driving back to the hotel. I would go out of my way to eat here again. Sister restaurant to Mid-Town South City Kitchen (which we also highly recommend).

Enjoyed a perfect Sunday lunch at Ecco Buckhead recently. Our server Brittany was excellent as she guided us through the menu with wonderful suggestions and spot on descriptions. I highly recommend the Napoleon Complex to start with the La despensa. The short rib was decadent with a side of the patatas bravas (spicy which I highly enjoy) as the main and a yummy cappuccino for the finish. This open airy restaurant just steps from Phipps Plaza ideally located in Buckhead is a must for any occasion. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and the managers Brandon and Stephen are wonderful. Bon Appetit

My husband and I are new to Atlanta and are fortunate to live close to Ecco. It was recommended to us by a friend and we are so glad that they did. Our first visit was for lunch and we were fortunate enough to have Brittney as our server. She is not only kind and great to talk to, but she knows the menu really well and offers great insight on the food. We went back for New Years Eve and once again Brittney was our server, we had a great time chatting with her. On both occasions, the food was amazing! Save room for dessert, it is wonderful too. At this point, Ecco is our favorite restaurant so far and Brittney is definitely our favorite server.

I recently dined at Ecco Buckhead on a busy Friday night, and I really enjoyed my experience. The food was simply superb. The whole restaurant had an electric vibe. There were several wine options "by the glass" poured from magnum bottles. It was a foodie approved meal in a beautifully decorated restaurant. I will be back.

Service was terrible, I can only imagine our server was a novice. When asked for suggestions "everything is excellent". Time between drink order and drinks was long, drinks arrived but there was no move to expand on the menu. Our reservation was for 7, we arrived 10 minutes early and it wasn't busy so we were sat immediately. As the long slow evening progressed the place filled up which was nice, that showed all courses down considerably. We sat for quite awhile with nothing in front of us every course. The server did not take any dishes or glasses away as she stopped by the table to check in or bring something which seems inefficient. The food was good, beet salad was great, osso buco was good, scallops, Kansas City steak were enjoyed at our table. They ran out of the gin one of us was drinking and brought Bombay as a substitute. For a restaurant which features specialty gin and gin cocktails, this is inadequate. Pass on Ecco next time we're in Atlanta, which is several times a year for business.

The concierge at my hotel recommended this place and it was fabulous. I started with the peach & prosciutto salad with arugula. The dressing was delicious. For main I had the pulled pork pappardelle, which was done to perfection. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Definitely will return when in Atlanta again

Nice cozy place for a pleasant dinner with great wine and unique but not too unusual dishes. The food is expertly prepared and they will accommodate special requests. Great for adults and couples.

Chicken salad was awful with hunks of warm dark meat rotisserie chicken on lettuce with croutons- the focaccia bread appetizer was processed white bread with potato salad or yogurt to spread on it?? I will never return, what a shame as I like the location. Eat in the Nordstrom cafe across the parking lot instead!

A group of 11 visited for dinner on 16th April. We had been very disappointed by quality and service on our first visit in December 2018 , similarly after a board meeting. We thought we should give them another chance. We should not have bothered. The system in the restaurant for delivering food and drink is somehow broken. Serious management time required to sort what is a lovely looking place. Real pity.

Had a wonderful waitress named Brittany who was very helpful with navigating the menu and so pleasant. My husband doesn’t like spicy food and she guided him toward an egg, vegetable and mushroom dish that was superb with an exceptional blend of flavors. He would return just to have it again.

We had a surprise birthday party here for my best friend. I spoke with Jamie, via email, to reserve a private room to host the birthday party. We brought in all sorts of decor and set up the room beautifully! They were able to accommodate all 24 of us. The set menu was perfect for our group. Would highly recommend for an affordable, posh group dining experience!

Our first try at Ecco was an overall good meal. The highlights were the Suid Ink Conchiglie pasta and the mussel appetizer. The 'famous' fried goat cheese was just OK for our group. The Olive Oil gelato was an enjoyable dessert. Service was just OK on a slow night. $3 valet parking.

We enjoyed a night out at Ecco in Buckhead, right next to Phipps Plaza. Great food and service, and I noticed a few families with well-behaved kids so we will be back with ours! It’s definitely NOT a wild, romper room situation. If you bring your own wine, the corkage fee is $20. Parking was easy or you can valet.

I have recently dined at the Buckhead location twice and the midtown location once - all 3 visits were very enjoyable - both have a vibrant bar scene, great ambiance, and service. I particularly enjoyed my last visit to Ecco Buckhead - fried olives, Brussels sprouts flatbread, and lamb ravioli. Buckhead is a place to be seen; however, the service and food do not disappoint- fun for two and fun for a large table, as well.

A three star is rare for me, but the food was just absolutely not acceptable for the price points and what one would want to receive a restaurant. None of the items that we received were a high-quality one of the items was not even properly cooked. Additionally, Service was off with long lapses in between drink orders and food orders. They’re gonna need to change things or the Restaurant won’t survive.

Ecco scored well on each dimension of the dining experience. From parking, venue, menu, greeting, service and food all were outstanding. I recommend them to all.
Good food, but noisy
The food and selection of wines was quite good. The restaurant is, however, rather crowded, resulting is a high noise level.
