Almost Perfect Dinning Experince

By CWS55 |

Echo and Rig is a marvelous steakhouse experience. Just 15 minutes off the strip in Summerlin's Tivoli Square. Valet parking. Enter the first floor to the bar and butcher shop. Look thru the incredible array of steaks, chops and sasuage in the butchershop cooler. Great happy hour bites in the bar. We had a 6:30 reservation and arrived 15 minutes early. The only downside to this restaurant is the snarky hostess who always seems to look down her nose at you and acts like you are bothering her. You will have to wait until closer to your 6:30 reservation she said in a very unfriendly way. No problem. However no place to sit. We wait. At 6:30 she asks if we would like to sit outside on the patio. In 100 degree heat. No thank you. Well then you will have to wait another 10 minutes. Why, I have a 6:30 confirmed reservation? No response. The wait however was worth it. Fantastic appetizers of burnt pork belly. Fire seared octopus and parmesan mushroom fries. We ordered a "big boy" steak. A 48 oz porterhouse cooked to a perfect medium rare. We ordered medium as the always default down. Comes with 6 dipping sauces and homemade chip. Best steak ever. Our spouses had the swordfish and shrimp n artichoke dishes. The both tasted fantastic. Sides of garlic mashed potatoes were excellent but the brochilini was under cooked. Service was excellent as always. They really should either dump the hostess or get her charm lessons as starting out on a sour note rarely ends well. In this case it did and we had a marvelous dinner.

If you want a truly good steak in Las Vegas!

Most people are happy to eat meat, however it comes frozen from their grocery store. However, a few are connoisseur of really fine steaks, wine, and the other pleasures of our troubled world, allowing us unequivocal pleasures in life. A truly good steak is one of those pleasures. It should be 40-days of dry-aged, never frozen quality meat of a prime cut. The cut is debatable, and many have spent hours over a fine glass (or more) of Napa Valley full-body Merlot or Cabinet Sauvignon discussing the finer points of marbled versus the healthier lean cuts. That comes down to personal preference just as whether it is rare or medium rare, and served with Merlot or a full body Cab. The 40-day dry-aged process concentrates the beef flavor, and can provides hints of a nutty taste in addition to making it a much more tender steak because bacteria in the blood breakdown inside the meat before we eat it. It produces a meat more easily digested and with a creamer texture. If you don't eat steak often, the best is that which was grass grazed through September, so that the grains of natural tall prairie foliage (Indiangrass, big bluestem, little bluestem) and other herbs are devoured with the maximum of nutrients consumed before harvesting. Slaughter the bull toward the end of October and served it in late November or early December. This beef has the highest nutrient count and the best of natural flavor. If you freeze beef, ice crystals will form in the moister form water in the meat, damaging the cell membrane and structure. You can feel this texture difference in your mouth of a fine steak that is not overcooked. Burning your meat is a technique if you consume frozen meat to mask this texture damage. Or, get a really good steak that was never frozen with a mild sauce like their Chimichurri. I recommend the asparagus with the basil aioli sauce and a sunny-side up egg, and if you have room, the caramel turtle ice cream with bourbon sauce for a sinfully-decadent finish. If Marcos was not your waiter, I am sorry your service was not supreme. Hint, ask for Marcos.

Birthday Brunch

By April T |

My rave review is primarily based on the service and professionalism of this restaurant. I had reached out about a month early for reservations for a large group. The number kept fluctuating right up to the day of. Corrine and her staff seamlessly made the appropriate accommodations to seat everyone as quickly as possible. I know this was even more difficult to accomplish with all the Covid restrictions as well. As an added bonus, brunch was fabulous. These are moments where you can earn a customer for life. Thanks so much for taking care of my group. I will continue to highly recommend your restaurant.

Delicious Dinner!

Wow. I had heard good things from friends but didn't go until was with a friend. One of the best meals I have had in Vegas. Steak was amazing. Portobello fries were unbelievable. I will definitely come back.

Lovely steak

The choice for steak here is second to none all our meals were cooked to perfection each of our group wanting our steak cooked a different way.

A unique steak house

By Paul W |

They have lots of steak choices and they can be seen at the butcher shop on the first floor. There are also alternate veggie and seafood selections. They also have an outside patio on the second floor which is quite than the restaurant.

Excellent 0ff-strip Steak House

By david92130 |

We have dined at Echo and Rig several times. The food has been consistently good. On our most recent visit service was excellent, but this has not always been the case. Steaks are high quality, properly cooked, and come with a selection of sauces. All of the starters and side dishes are worth trying. Prices are reasonable for what you get. As a bonus, if you bring wine there is no corkage charge. We prefer eating on the patio as the inside can get very noisy. Unless you arrive fairly early, we have found that reservations are not always honored and there can be a substantial wait for your table.

Don't Bother

By Glen K |

I have tried to eat here twice. Both times I had reservations, both times we were there on my wife's birthday, which happens to fall on a holiday weekend, and both times, we could not get seated to save our lives AND WE HAD A RESERVATION!! Both times there appeared to be tables we could have been seated at, the first time we were early and they said they had not started the dinner service yet (the restaurant was empty, couldn't get seated, wife's birthday, reservations, and then they started the dinner service and we still waited an hour, nothing). Both times we waited for over 2 hours and left and then got texted minutes after we left that our table was ready. If you want to wait 2 hours when you already have a reservation, go for it. But read the reviews, what you are waiting for really isn't all that great, this is a more a place to see and be seen and show how cool you are because you know someone that works there (poor them) and can get seated ahead of everyone else. Class society at its best.

Fantastic quality of steak!

By Tim P |

My wife and I had a great experience at Echo and Rig. Started with Portabello Fries, which were amazing, followed by the Ribeye Cap and Filet. Cuts were amazing and the portions we desire (8-10 ounces). We shared the brussel sprouts, which were good. We finished with their phenomenal carmel dessert. Great meal!

Fantastic Place!! Great Steakhouse!

By Jezuzek |

We visited Echo and Rig our second night in Vegas from a recommendation on good dining off the Strip. In a word, it was Fantastic! First, we messed up our reservation time and arrived 30 minutes late. They handled our group of 5’s tardiness with aplomb and still seated us within a few minutes of our arrival. I brought two bottles of wine and they do not charge a corkage fee at all. Their wine list isn’t very high-end, but it’s adequate. However, the food is all locally sourced, farm to table dining. The steaks were fantastic and perfectly prepared with wonderful sauces. The appetizers were also great. The sides were fabulously tasty and there was a great selection as well. They can be shared if desired. I cannot possibly recommend this place enough! Our server, Gatsby, was excellent and an absolute joy. Our evening was perfect.

Best Steak Ever!

By Jordan T |

Went here for my bachelor party, was not disappointed. The steaks were second to none and the sauces complimented the steaks incredibly well. Not to mention the service was very good. All our needs were met and surpassed. Our glasses never ran low, our orders were taken quickly, the menu was well explained and best of all the food came out fast. Would recommend to anyone that can appreciate a good steak and a great atmosphere.

Great dinner

By Vladimir1968 |

4.75*. The restaurant was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. First of all, no corkage charge if you bring your own wine - huge bonus. We came with kids and shared a big tomahawk steak, as well as tartare and kale salad as starters. The salad was great; the tartare I would give a pass in the future - too... "meh". However, the steak with 7 different dipping sauces was excellent. We were also very happy with all the sides. Service was tremendous.

relaxed, casual, but classy atmosphere. Excellent service and attentive staff. Very nice selection of wines, loved the Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc, and spirits. seated promptly. We had a party of seven, and all were pleased and raved about the food choices, I had the colorado lamb chops which were cooked to perfection!

Once Great, Now Mediocre

By Max G |

For many years, Echo & Rig has been my go-to place in Las Vegas. I could always count on great food at a reasonable price. Eighteen months ago, the friend who introduced me to E&R told me that he thought the quality of the food had declined. Last night we found that to be true. Four of us went out to dinner. We ordered pork belly burnt ends, Caesar salad, ribeye caps, bavette steak, chicken, broccoli, and cauliflower. The pork belly burnt ends were served lukewarm and were tough. All three beef dishes were very tough and chewy (we didn't finish them), and the vegetables were not as flavorful as they used to be. It was very disappointing.

So much better that the strip

By Jeff H |

I came into town for my 50th Birthday with a group of 20. Needless to say all the places on the strip were more interested in making money up front and not too concerned about serving our needs. My wife called two week ahead of time and made the reservation without any problems at all. My dinner was top notch.... from the excellent steaks and the equally excellent service. Our server (Shane) nailed all the orders and made sure everyone understood all the choices and made suggestions for those that needed help. Thank you E&R!

No flexibility

By Liana |

Regret choosing this restaurant over Prime at the Bellagio. The 50 taxi ride was not worth the trip. When a 'good' steak house cannot sub out potato chips for a side ceasar, that is disappointing. After denying that simple request they send deep fried mushrooms to the table, did not ask for them. The smell of fried food turned my stomach. When asking that price for a steak, there should be a little flexibility, especially when celebrating a 25th anniversary. Because there was no flexibility I opted out of getting a steak.

If Ponderosa married Ruth - this would be their average kid

By Gizm0guy |

Was here twice in one week as my elderly dad liked the first visit and said he’d like to go back - so presto I made another reservation and we went. The 2 visits in close succession allowed observation and assessment. Basically, Echo & rig is filling the gap between Outback Steakhouse/Ponderosa Steakhouse chains and Capital Grille/Del Frisco/Ruth Chris etc chains. It’s trying to cast itself as a higher end proprietor, but it’s steaks just aren’t consistent or up to snuff. It’s actually quite surprising to see how crowded they are, and it appeared the restaurant was filled mostly with locals likely willing to accept compromises in quality for a lower price point. They have a very nice deck and the inside dining area is above average. Much has been stated in reviews regarding the Rib Eye Cap dish. I had it twice and I was given 2 different cuts of beef - plain and simple. Neither had the marbling expected from a quality ribeye, and one of the 2 was closer to strip steak cut. It was ok, but don’t expect a ribeye, which is among the best cuts of meat when prepared appropriately. Desserts should be avoided. Pseudo culinary “deconstructions” that sound far better than they actually taste. Kitchen is obviously an assembly line. No substitutions allowed. No lead chef at the helm. Steak came with housemade potato chips which were burned. Cmon, why even plate those? One side was done excellently - the cauliflower dish. Lots of hullabaloo has been made re the portobello fries. Meh. Servers and seaters were all nice. Attentive to water glass filling. Drinks ok. So all in all, I get it. Mostly locals want a place that seems like an upscale steakhouse but in reality serves average meats slightly better than Outback and with lower out of pocket cost. If you are staying near strip where there are many steakhouses serving up far better meats, most definitely do not trek out to Echo & Rig. If you are in Summerlin, it’s not a bad place for a meal but there are better places to drop your cash (some right next door in the Tivoli complex).

Phenomenal experience

By ctwhittaker |

Absolutely fantastic food and service! I cannot believe I don’t remember our servers name but extremely knowledgeable and great personality for our party of 12. Manager on duty was visible often and very engaging. We were celebrating a 50th birthday and the whole experience was delightful as we had a really bad experience for brunch at our hotel earlier. Wish they had a location in Florida near me :)

Steak was great, but...

By differentname |

...next time, we will just have, only, a steak and a salad, and ask to sit at the bar. Why, you may ask? Because the steak was excellent, maybe one of the best pieces of meat I have ever been served and it was absolutely, perfectly, cooked, but everything else was just OK. We, also, did not like the dining room upstairs. The proportions of the room were all wrong, from ceiling height, to awkward placement of tables, to bare walls, to odd lighting... On the other hand, you can bring your own bottle of wine, BYOB, and there is no corkage fee. We did add a tip on our bottle of wine, because our service, Ramon, was great.... nice guy. Seems like a local's restaurant, and frankly I'd be here for steak all the time, too. The steak is reasonably priced. It may even be 1/2 the price of the other steak places in town. The quality of the steak is fabulous. Sitting at the bar or outside looks promising. Even though I rated this place average, the steak quality was excellent.

Anniversary Dinner

By ezduzit3 |

Read reviews and wanted to try a romantic dinner for our anniversary. Made reservations (which I highly recommend) for dinner. Was seated upstairs right on time and was given a table on the balcony overlooking Tivoli village. The manager was Dylon and was very friendly and attentive and welcomed us when we arrived. Our server was Luis and was also very friendly and knowledgable with the menu. Our drinks were ordered and promptly delivered. The menu is eclectic but leans towards the steaks (which makes sense as it is a steak house primarily). We ordered appetizers me crab cake my partner a kale salad very tasty on both. For dinner I chose the beef pot pie absolutely delicious my partner the artichoke and shrimp dish which was also great. When finished a dessert was brought out for our anniversary as well as cappuccino on the house( nice touch). I will be most definitely be returning to have a steak next time as they looked absolutely delicious. The evening was a wonderful success, between the service, food and atmosphere. I would recommend Echo & Rig for anyone who enjoys a good night out. Be sure to make a reservation, ask for the balcony and if you can, try to get Luis as your server you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service and ambience at a reasonable price!

By Brad R |

First the location. It is in Tivoli gardens which is romantic and charming. The restaurant itself is open and well lit. Very comfortable. The steaks are good. Very flavorful. We had the bravaret steak and the spencer cut. Spencer was great. Bravaret was tasty but think I should have gone for the ribeye cap. Surprisingly good was the deconstructed Brussel sprouts which were roasted and buttered and the brocochini. I am not a vegetable lover but I would come here for those 2 dishes alone. Price was more than reasonable. Fyi - if you like Mac and cheese, this place has one of the best.

Excellent steakhouse!

By jeanb239 |

Excellent steakhouse! Top notch Service by our waiter, Austin. Couldn’t ask for a better meal, and at reasonable prices! We were celebrating my birthday, and the general manager and the other wait staff all came by to wish me a happy birthday! The little touches took this from a good place to great place! We will definitely be back!

Bar table facing the fountain

By MominOC |

Small bar with attentive service. One bartender made creative versions of an old fashion that were very good. Prices were high but we enjoyed our time.

Solid steak,

By Ruths4 |

Nice atmosphere, especially outside. Vacation casual. A bit of a drive from the strip. Service was excellent the the food was good, no complaints. Was it the best steak I have ever had? No, but it was enough to make us all quite happy and it wasn't $100 or more a person. And there is not corkage free for you first 2 bottle of wine. That is a deal!

Carnivore Heaven

By Blakeley’s Bites |

Perfect site for a business dinner. Service was top notch - attentive and prompt without being overly cloying. Options for everyone but definitely steak is king. The three different sizes of tomahawk rib eyes looked amazing, as did the two sizes of porterhouse. Our table went with the skirt steak, classic rib eye and spencer rib eye, all prepared perfectly and seasoned nicely. The bone marrow carne asada was good, as were the Brussels sprouts and roasted broccolini. The portobello fries were the hit in appetizers. The wine list could be expanded a bit on the higher end. Great value off strip however with prices untouchable compared to a comparable meal on strip.

Fantastic Service!

By sharrongeg |

Some restaurants really know how to get it right! I have had brunch here a few times, and each meal is better than the one before. Staff is well trained and it is a delight. Food is outstanding - and brunch prices are very reasonable (entree and beverage for under $20). Don’t worry if you have special dietary needs - they will take care of you! Highly recommend!

Excellent Steak House

By Jeffrey P |

Food and service were excellent. Fried spinach salad was light and tasty. Caesar Salad was great. Steaks were fabulous. I had a ribeye, my companion had a NY strip. Staff was attentive without being distracting. Not cheap, but still I'd say it was a good value.

Birthday Dinner

By Aldridg4 |

We had a fantastic birthday dinner. Everyone from the hostess to servers assistants were friendly. Our server Luis was very friendly and helpful when deciding what to order as we we think about a couple different dishes. Get the Echo Gimlet, really good drink. The portobello fries and the pork belly apps were delicious, great recommendations. We both had the filet and they were both cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of pink. Tony the manager stopped by a few times throughout the night to check in which was a nice touch. For dessert they brought out what I think was turtle sundae which was a very good. We sat outside on the patio which was a nice atmosphere and comfortable. This place is a nice little gem hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. We will definitely be back, thank you for the great meal.

Just Ok!

By Angelia W |

I had high hopes for this restaurant. It was just okay. Our server did ask about our sauce preference. Our steaks were not cooked medium well. We had to send them back. But, the service and ambiance was great. The prices are cheaper than most steakhouses on the strip which is a plus. They are still expensive compared to our upscale steakhouses in Texas, but cheap by Vegas standards. All in all, I would give it a passing score, but that’s pretty much it.

Butcher shop and restaurant

By mingxiao28 |

It was quite an interesting experience to dine at the upstairs of a butcher shop. We ordered a Tomahawk chop, they brought a tray of them to our table, so we can choose the meat and the cut. The steak was so big. It fed 2 big meat eaters plus a lady. I ordered shrimp. They were good too. They have a rotating menu. I’d come back and try some other food.

Very good meal indeed

By ScottRichardsonBrown |

We went out of our way to go here rather than our usual steak restaurant on the strip and weren’t disappointed. Food was excellent, some of the best I’ve had and the meat was just sublime. Wine was delicious too, think we’ll be going back on future trips.

Incredible as always

By zoeray2 |

Enjoyed another great night at Echo n Rig. Had the Tomahawk steak tonight and it was incredible. Their steaks are aged well and they definitely know how to cook steak perfectly. I also love that you can bring your own wine with NO CORKAGE FEE. They have a great wine selection too. Venue is great for intimate dinner or larger groups. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sit outside year-round. I highly recommend this restaurant and will continue to visit.

Good, not great

By Judge_Smails-BR |

We were staying in downtown Vegas and dined here with friends who lived nearby. The decor downstairs and upstairs is nothing to write home about especially considering how the surrounding exterior buildings/walkways, etc., have been designed. The food was good (rib eye steak scallops) and served its purpose and was certainly reasonable enough compared to restaurant prices on The Strip. Not likely I'd return anytime soon though.

Good Food, Cute Area

By Gin2busy |

We ate outside on the balcony which made the dinner special. Known for steak, there are all kinds of meat for you to look at when you first enter the restaurant.

Amazing

By JAE* |

We had such a good meal we came back the next night with friends! The waiting area is pretty cool. You can watch the butcher cut meat and check out their display case of meats. We started with martinis, which were great and prepared just as we ordered. YUM! For our meal, we ordered a tomahawk steak and shared it. We also ordered the roasted carrots and brussel sprouts for our side along with the house potato chips that came with the steak. The meat was cooked perfectly and sides were delicious. The following night with friends we tried the pork belly appetizer. OMG. So delicious. We ended up ordering the same meal since it was so awesome the night before. It was a lot of food both nights and we did take the left overs home. Our dogs were in heaven with the tomahawk bones and meat. Yes, they are spoiled : ) Our servers were great both nights. Wonderful experience and very nice interior. We will definitely be back!

Anytime, always great

By orange-u-tall |

I have dined at Echo & Rig for dinner, brunch, lunch and even just late-night cocktails, and it is always a perfect experience. They never miss, and the price and value is unmatched in town. Everybody just knows what they are doing. The bar staff is always spot on, and the kitchen never falls short of excellence. They even have a butcher shop for meats adjacent to the hostess stand. But I haven’t bought anything yet, as I know I can’t prepare it to their level.

Excellent food with amazing service — a wonderful evening

By stonellas |

We were staying with some old friends and wanted to take them out as a thank you. They chose this restaurant and it was wonderful. We were a party of 5 which included a 97 year old who used and needed a walker. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The restaurant in located opposite the Obelisk in Tivoli Village and is on 2 floors. On the ground floor is the restaurants own butchers shop, a full bar area, a shellfish bar and a few tables including high tables for casual dining. On the 1st floor which can be reached by an elevator is the main dining area. There is an open kitchen along one side and the rest of the area is filled with tables which are generous spread about so you don’t have anyone sitting too closely to you. We ordered pre dinner drinks which came with the complimentary bread which was lovely. Before we ordered our server brought to the table a selection of the steaks that were available and explained the differences between each one. We decided to share starters and my wife & I chose the melted Brie in a mini sourdough loaf with apple chutney — an ideal starter for 2. It was excellent, melted Brie in a crispy on the outside sourdough with a hint of garlic. Our friends decided to share the Caesar salad which they loved. For our main courses. one of the party chose the butterfish — a fillet of flaky but not too thick fish which she loved. My wife and another guest chose the sea bass — a whole filleted fish stuffed with rocket and served with some salad — both dishes were perfectly cooked and were excellent. 2 of us had the steak — I chose the spencer steak cooked medium which came exactly as ordered and was served with potato chips and a Pinot noir jus which was served separately . I ordered a side dish of mashed potato which was chunky and which I shared with my wife. The last member of the party ordered the rib eye steak served well done which also came with potato chips and a blue cheese sauce. He also ordered a side dish of mac n cheese. The food was excellent throughout and although we were all pretty full by then our elderly guest insisted on some ice cream for dessert and none of us were about to argue with her. The dessert menu consisted of ice cream sundaes so my wife & I shared the cappuccino sundae, our elderly guest vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and our other guests shared the raspberry sorbet with berries. A perfect end to the meal. Our server was amazing throughout, professional, funny, helpful and attentive — a real asset to the restaurant. The overall service was also excellent — the food was served in a timely manner with no long waits between courses and we never felt rushed st any time. A wonderful evening in a first class restaurant.

Great steak and great service - get away from the strip for an authentic experience

By DancarterinSuzhou |

Lovely setting in Trivoli village, bit of a drive from the strip but very much worth it. Great steaks, fantastic sides and a free desert as it was my birthday. Reasonable wine selection. Only criticism is that the steaks were slightly undercooked- medium was very very pink but after all we are British and the steaks at home are cooked differently. ;-)

Obama and Trump should not be on display in your establishment!

By Aaron B |

Thought we would try the new Henderson location, Service was slow to begin with, and it was hot in the restaurant. Made a trip to the restroom and was shocked to see several pictures of Barrack Obama on walls. I made a comment to one of the managers, he said it wasn't the owners intention to be political. How would liberal patrons like to see pictures of Trump on the wall? Please just provide good food!

Special Family Dinner

By Brian L |

My wife and I were visiting my sister, a long-time Las Vegas resident, and her husband. We asked them to pick a special place for a steak dinner during our visit that we could treat them to. Echo and Rig has a nice vibe and is located in a high end, boutique style shopping complex. The ambiance is cool and the service is terrific. My ribeye steak was very very well prepared and tasty, and the various sauces they offer as an accompaniment were also fun. Our server was nice enough to let us sample all three! My only critical feedback relates to the available side dishes. As sort of an "old school" or traditional guy, I love a good baked potato and/or cream spinach with my steak - and neither was available on the menu! That was surprising and just a slight bummer. However, again, our server was exceptional. Would go again but wish the sides offered were different!

Nice steakhouse en good service.

By ashley |

Very very good! Nice place to visit just a 20 minute drive from the Las Vegas strip. Steaks were very tender and yummy. Service was excellent and they were very kind. Great price value! Would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent Place to Dine

By manuelmE4316HW |

Wow! The most excellent customer service and attention to every detail from the hostess, to the waiter, to the server, to the manager that visited our table upon arrival to welcome us. The food was delicious and prepared just as ordered. The prices were very reasonable as compared to other Las Vegas steakhouses and the customer service and constant attention made this restaurant an excellent value for the price! I would highly recommend it to anyone and will definitely visit again if given the opportunity!

Great service, poor food.

By Discover60245096594 |

They came recommended, so we were quite surprised when the meats were not good. We enjoyed Caesar salad and ordered the Hanger and Spencer both medium rare. The hanger was not just charred but burned. Half the cut was wasted. The Spencer was cooked correctly but apparently overcooked with no juice left in the cut. Very disappointing. If the garlic chips are a specialty they need to be MUCH better than retoasted store with added garlic salt. When finished the Host said "that was fantastic right?" My response of " no, just average." She thought I was sarcastic and said " yes, right". You can't cover up poor food with pomp and circumstance. Not returning.

Echo and Rig, plus BETH are favorites

By Seattletraveler829 |

This restaurant is a must every time we visit LasVegas! Meats are fabulous, happy hour is great, and the brunch menu is amazingly extensive!! Service is professional and attentive—-especially BETH!! She made our Sat brunch into the highlight of our day. She is able to explain every food or cocktail, and truly enjoys her customers. We always buy meats from the butcher shop to take home for extended enjoyment.

Best service in town!

By sharrongeg |

About two or three times a year, I dine here with a group of girlfriends. Service and food are both always outstanding! Love their zero corkage fee. Today’s brunch was superb. Hats off to Echo and Rig!

It went from great to currently poor

By vegas rocks |

We have dined here since they opened about 8 years ago and always enjoyed it. No more, the worst potato pancakes, shredded potatoes, raw inside, cold, no seasoning, no onion. We sent it back and the manager brought more of the same. The smoked lox salmon was on top of these 2 blobs. The service by the 2 inexperienced servers was poor. We won’t return. We told the manager that the cooks are not cooks, they are incompetent. It is soooo loud that others at our table can hardly be heard.

STILL OUR FAVORITE LOCAL LAS VEGAS RESTAURANT

By E4468HCjerryb |

We had been traveling and not been able to visit this restaurant again since I wrote an article several months ago that we loved it. We were finally able to visit again, and our opinion hasn’t changed. We loved it!! The avocado toast was unique and so tasty to start, and the fried calamari is always a favorite. The ribeye cap was again done perfectly, and was so tender. Few places do branzino well, but this was done ideally, with crispy skin but tasty and tender flesh. The corn side dish added a special touch to our meal. Our waiter, Ari, was a lot of fun, knowledgeable, and had good suggestions. The manager, Leroy, seemed to be everywhere, and made sure that everything ran smoothly. The place was packed, but the noise level was still subdued. The wine list is good, and reasonably priced. It is almost unheard of in this town, but there is no corkage fee. Valet parking is literally across the street and is also free.

Great Experience

By Robert |

Food and service were both great! The atmosphere was also really good. It was a good place for a business dinner, but would also be great for friends and family or date night.

OUR NEW FAVORITE LOCAL RESTAURANT IN ALL OF LAS VEGAS

By E4468HCjerryb |

We were looking for a new local restaurant, and read that the owner beat Bobby Flay, so gave it a try. So glad we did! The lightly breaded calamari as an appetizer was the absolutely best I have ever had. The rib eye cap was done perfectly, and was the tenderest ever. The leftover the next day was just as good. My branzino was done just the way I like it with crispy skin. The portobello fries and roasted heirloom carrots were both very tasty side dishes. The turtle ice cream was a really nice way to top off the evening. The wine list was mostly from California, and were reasonably priced. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. Our waiter, Beth, was friendly and knowledgeable, and the manager, Patty, made sure we had a wonderful and special dining experience. The ambience is quiet and inviting. There is a large covered patio if you like outside dining. The restaurant is in Tivoli Village, and the valet parking is literally right across the street from the restaurant. They also feature a butcher shop which has every type of meat you can imagine, so after dinner we picked up the osso bucco the butcher had special ordered for us. We will be back soon.

Superb steak with excellent service!

By KasperAlex |

A group of us had a terrific steak dinner at Echo and Rig! Wonderful outdoor dining with deck heaters for a cool night, outstanding service, beautiful setting. Butcher on premises, every possible cut of meat, excellent seafood at a reasonable price.

Fine Dining at Summerlin's Best

By Bob A |

This place has the goods....great service, great food and a great location. Off the strip in Summerlin, this restaurant has an excellent menu and is good for dinner anytime and great for those special occasions. The wait staff are well trained and focused on your satisfaction and the food has always been prepared exactly the way it was ordered.

Wonderful Experience!

By Leigh-Traveler2015 |

I was looking for a very good steak house that we could dress comfortably and a great steak wouldn't be $80. FOUND IT! A large ribeye perfectly cooked was under $40. We shared two appetizers- BBQ bacon and portabella fries- both very tasty. We sat outside- just a wonderful experience. I would love to go back and try more of their menu!

Nice atmosphere pretty good service great steak good sides all in all a good place and would return if back here.

A very good steak!!

By Work2Travel2014 |

We had a group of 5 of us and this is one good steak house!! I had the filet migon with horseradish cream sauce and it was cooked spot on!! The mac and cheese was very decadent as was the crab cake appetizer. The others in my party tried the Spencer steak and enjoyed them as well. The fried calamari was enough to be shared by the table. The dessert course we tried was the apple sundae and it was excellent!! They had a good wine selection as well and I was very pleased with the Malbec I chose.

Great steaks in Summerlin

By nak |

A great steakhouse. They always take good care of us. Fine dining, great food, excellent services. If you want a great steakhouse off the Strip, in Summerlin, this is the place to go.

A good time with good people 😌

By BTheWanderingScholar |

Great experience. It was my first time, but a dear friend and mentor goes on a regular so I had to try. The Havana sidecar we had was amazing. I recommend trying the mac and cheese as well as the burnt ends. So good it's hard to share.

Echo & Rig

By Georgie J |

Our first time dining at Echo & Rig. Our Anniversary. Beautiful restaurant. Comfortable seating. Great service. Awesome, amazing, reasonably priced food, and a delicious surprise Anniversary treat. Looking forward to returning. Easy, free parking.

Unprofessional and Rude

By A B |

Food was subpar, but the main reason for the one star was the rudeness during the service given that one of us is vegetarian. There was absolutely no need for it when my table was super polite and patient. It was not an enjoyable time.

Didn’t love it

By Christy M |

I came to Vegas and our group of about 20 had a set menu. It was very expensive for what we got (didn’t even get steak and the bill was almost $100 per person). The food wasn’t very good either so I wouldn’t go back. On a bright side, the hand scrub in the bathroom was nice!

Dinner

By Pam J |

Last weekend my daughter and I dined at Echo & Rig. This was my first time to dine there. It was such an outstanding meal that I just had to review it. The service was also excellent! I had the Tai Snapper and my daughter had the Organic King Salmon. Then, we shared the Creamed Kale and Roasted Heirloom Carrots. Everything was excellently prepared, but I honestly think that the snapper was some of the best that I have ever had! Also, the cream in the Creamed Kale tasted so fresh and was bursting with flavor. For dessert they offer a delightful selection of sundaes. We shared the Berry Shortcake Sundae and it was yummy!! I am looking forward to a return visit.

Can't cook a steak properly?

By Kaci F |

I wish I didn't have to write this review. Regrettably, the last 2 experiences in a row have been horrendous for me. Not my husband, because his food came out fine. Baffled as to why they can't grill a bavette steak medium-rare. Both times, I ordered bavette MR and came back RARE. Wouldn't be so bad, except when sent back they don't put it on the grill to cook it faster to get it back to the guest. They put it in the oven for 20 minutes!! By then, my husband is finished with his meal and I have to box this up to make at home. Javier, the manager, suggested he would make sure our next experience would be good. So sorry Javier, but there will not be a 3rd visit. Not this year, anyway. Also disappointing that they didn't do much for us considering the terrible experience. Not being able to eat my meal. They only took off a couple shareables. Sweet. Makes me feel like they really care. Good luck. Everyone else seems to have a good meal there. See you next year (maybe)!

Brunch with friends

By Missplummer83 |

My friends and I came here for brunch and it was really good. We all got bottomless mimosas and it was worth it. Everything was really good and so was the service.

great food, ambience, service, value

By SDixon |

we dined at Echo and Rig, Las Vegas, on Tuesday evening, June 14th, 2022—our party of 6 the food, ambiebce, service, and value were all the best our server, Manon, was even better than best a great restaurant in a great location—in Tivoli Village great shopping—and with two excellent hotel/casinos directly across S Rampart Street (Sun Coast and Rampart)

Great Experience

By James B |

Went for a birthday dinner. Party of four, with a reservation. We were greeted warmly at the door, and seated at the requested time. You should not be in a hurry here, as the menu is extensive, and the choices are many. Food was delivered hot and done to perfection. Meats were full of flavor as were the sides. Service was outstanding and very friendly. This was a great experience and we will hopefully return many times in the future. This is a place we will bring out of town family have a great Vegas dinner!

Really special meal and experience

By Kelly B |

While vacationing in Las Vegas, we were looking for a fine meal, not necessarily a "Vegas Strip" experience. We found Echo and Rig thru the Tripadvisor reviews. The meal did not disappoint. The restaurant is off the strip and clearly a local favorite. The food was very special, as was the service. The location was spotless and our seating was socially distance. Not cheap, but in the category with the finer Bellagio restaurants. It was extremely intimate, upscale and it appeared other diners were enjoying a similar experience. We shared a special chef's cut steak, perfectly prepared. Loved the fried Spinach salad.

Great Service and Great Food

By robbyg019 |

We went here for a company dinner and had a great time. The staff was on point and never missed a beat. Seriously some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. Steaks were amazing as well as the sides. If you like bacon, the smoked thick sliced bacon is SO GOOD!!! Must try it! Good atmosphere, and they treated us great. Highly recommend. Hugo was THE MAN!

Classic American food

Classic American food The staff is always friendly. The food is very good. The dining room is extremely noisy. The Brunch selection is VERY GOOD. We enjoy bringing friends as we can always depend on a excellent meal.

Great filet steak, crab cake, caesar salad, Tivoli view & Beth waitress

By Kevin K |

Recommended to us for great food, prices and view of Tivoli shopping night-lites, water fountain and unique architecture. The Tivoli outdoor shopping center is beautifully lighted up at nite with many colored lights, scenic water fountain, and restaurants. Free underground parking. Exho & Rig was an excellent restaurant with many meat items including steaks, fish, lamb, and more that they seek to source locally. Our filet was tender and great. Shared a caesar salad that our waitress had kitchen split earlier for us. Shared a crabcake that was full of lumpcrab. Meal included a loaf of bread and home-made potato chips that were fantastic. Steaks included a sauce: the blue cheese was tasty as was the mushroom in red wine reduction. Beth, our server, was very friendly, thoughtful and helpful with her recommendations. Her assistant waiter, Kosome, was extremely attentive in bringing us water refills, friendly and removing plates. We will be back.

Very Good Choice

By 808choosytraveler |

We came here on a recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. The place is spacious with nice decor. It was a little noisy. Our server was terrific in recommending food and her attentive service. We were disappointed that they had run out of the rib cap steak. We were told that cut is very popular so to try to get an early dinner reservation for our next visit. We settled for the ribeye and lamb porterhouse and were very pleased. The grilled octopus appetizer was very good.

Outstanding and Consistent

By globbiztravel |

Awesome place. Don’t miss dining here. Been here for dinner and brunch. The service levels are consistent and reminiscent of a Michelin star restaurant. The food is outstanding and consistent every time we eat here. We have made Echo & Rig one of our ongoing Sunday rituals.

Excellent Service and Good Food

By Mary P |

We had a party of 16 and the service was great! Our water and drink glasses were always full. This was my second visit to Echo and Rig and I liked my food better the first time. I had a steak the first time and it was delicious and cooked just as I wanted it. I had the sea bass last night and it was very fishy. If you get a seafood dish, you need to order appetizers or side dishes or you will leave hungry. The restaurant is very classy and the location is great! Excellent place for a special occasion.

Steak so good my knife blushed!

By Heather B |

From the moment I walked into Echo and Rig I knew I was in for a treat! The ambience is a tantalizing combination of modern chic and farmhouse charm. We started with bread and a selection of apps our server recommended. Bacon that literally melts in your mouth and a shrimp cocktail that was good but not great. For the main event I ordered a filet…cooked medium and when it arrived to my table time truly stood still. My steak was so perfectly cooked it practically cut itself. Bite after bite I was transported to another universe where only me and this steak existed…if it was a person I would marry it! I would swim in the waters that is the Bernnaise sauce I dipped it in and love every moment of it. The sides were a solid supporting cast, the true star of the ensemble cast being the mac and cheese. I am 99% my best friend’s grandmother was in the back kitchen helping put together this, that’s the only explanation as to why I tasted love in every bite of my mashed potatoes! We skipped out on dessert because had I eaten any more I would have needed a little rascal to scooter me out. I loved this place…will 100% be back and of course recommend you make a reservation!

Blueberry Pancakes

By LeeDiMc |

We are new locals who are thrilled to have discovered Echo and Rig for brunch. The creative cocktails and blueberry pancakes were spectacular. We'll be back for dinner soon!

Very Disappointing Experience

By Jackie L |

Went to brunch , had reservation at 1:30 nasty , rude hostess, finally sat after 25 minutes waiting , waited 15 minutes for cocktails, brought two out of three waited 8 more minutes for mimosa, after addressing server Shane got short rib hash hash, salmon eggs benedict, and burger. Hash and benedict lukewarm, No check back by server at all, asked another server for salt and pepper, was halfway finished before receiving it. Need more staff!!! Heard awesome reviews not impressed !!

The best anniversary ever!

By Tim K |

My wife and I chose this restaurant after a great deal of discussion on where to go for our anniversary dinner. Echo & Rig was more than up to the challange! Our hostess, a younger gal that we didn't catch the name of, was right on top of things when we entered and was polite, and friendly with us. The manager, whom we also did not get the name of, greeted us within 5 minutes of being seated and was also very friendly. Our waiter, Shane, knew his stuff and was professional and exemplary in his attention. We had the onion soup for an appetizer and it was stellar. Our drinks were mixed and made just right! The sea bass and filet minon were cooked to perfection and tasted grand! Our sides of cauliflower and brussel sprouts were also fantastic. Our desert of turtle ice cream put the final nail in our coffin, and completed our night fabulously! We will definitely be back in the future!

Birthday celebration

By Teresa C |

Celebrated my birthday here with hubby and a friend. Great service, got plenty of birthday wishes. Food was good, great sides, not the best steak I ever had but decent. Decor was nice, modern and comfortable. Got a bowl of really good chocolate ice cream as a birthday treat, that was nice. Overall, pretty good experience.

Poor

By QNDW |

Aircon not working and not told by reception. Waiter was pushy and patronizing food average and wine list poor and overpriced

Above average food and service

By jonathb5 |

Had the horseradish encrusted butterfish with root vegetables and the chopped vegetable salad. Both were good. As it was my birthday, management treated me to a bowl of fresh berries for desert which was much appreciated. The service was a cut above.

Great Surprise

By Tazman |

The service was outstanding, the food was excellent with perfect portions. The menu has something for everyone.

Best dining experience ever!

By Ann s |

We dined at the Trivoli Village location and WOW!!! From the hostess to our waiter we were treated like royalty and were amazing at recommending exactly what we wanted. Shout out to Whitney and Ari! The steaks cut like butter and were so amazing I would’ve licked my plate if I had no manners. Will definitely be back again when we travel this way!

Exceptional experience

By Joseph Robba |

Echo & Rig was absolutely top notch. First off, I made the reservation for the wrong night, but they were quick to accommodate us despite my mistake! It was a completely amazing dining experience from top to bottom. In times where it is difficult to find impeccable food and service on a night out, this place absolutely delivered. I had the Ribeye Cap, and we ordered the lobster cigars, mashed potatoes and the portabello fries...man o man, all the food was exceptional. The steak was one of the best I've ever had. Would love to eat here again in the future. They were 100% everything I look for in a fine dining experience. The steaks were absolutely superb, service was excellent, and I genuinely have nothing bad to say about the experience. Absolutely top notch.

Well worth it! Awesome quality and service.

By Joanna G |

Great steakhouse. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. She was so excited to pick out her own steak. It was 32 oz porterhouse. It cost over $90 but it was huge. We all shared it with sauces that were served complementary. And dessert was on the house! I'm glad we didn't go to the steakhouses on the strip. It was much better value and experience.

Took my dad here for his 50th bday!

By K.King, MPH, CHES® |

Took my dad here for his 50th birthday, saw good reviews on Facebook and Google. This restaurant is in a beautiful plaza. Next time I go I’d want to eat on the balcony! The service was immaculate. They allowed me to store my dad’s birthday cake in their fridge until we were ready to sing happy birthday. Everything we ordered was excellent. Absolutely zero errors, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service. Shane was our server. Everytime we come to Vegas it’s a must that we have him working with us! I had: Portobello fries w/ herb aioli Lamb cigars King salmon In other reviews I saw people say that this place is more laid back but I beg to differ. The atmosphere doesn’t give me chain restaurant vibes at all; E&R is definitely has an elevated atmosphere. I loved it and can’t want to visit again.

Best Brunch

By Miranda M |

Our waitress Gatsby did an amazing job handling our large party of 10. She had a fun attitude and was on top of the mimosa refills. The menu was a great selection, and food was delicious. We sat outside where it was a beautiful day and had heaters if needed.

Exceptional food in a wonderful atmosphere

By Scott F |

Very simply, this steakhouse is amazing! I had the “Skirt” - Pure Wagyu with a Paniolo Marinade. The waiter recommended ordering medium (I always get med rare) and he was absolutely right. The flavor, tenderness…really everything was perfect. Others got the ribeye and the ribeye cap; also exceptional pieces of meat. Sides are family-style and are not small! Calamari is one of our favorites & there’s didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was classy but also casual. Finally, prices were very good for the high quality & service; at other Vegas steakhouses, the same meals would be twice the cost. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic

By Ola M |

Great place!! Good athmosphere, good location, great and friendly service that helped a lot with the selection, good selection of beer and wines, reasonable prices and great food!! Very highly recommended!!!

Nice Unpretentious Dining With An In-house Butcher

By Patrick Rile |

We were feeling in the mood for a nice lunch not too far from our house. We made a reservation & showed up hungry. As we entered the place, we were greeted by our hostess, who told us it’d be a few minutes to be seated. We noticed a couple of butchers prepping meat over to the right side of us. I took a closer look, & saw a refrigerated case full of steaks, chops, sausages, & other assorted meat cuts available for sale. It was really interesting to see the process. I chatted with the butchers for a bit. They told us that the meat was all prime grade, & vacuum sealing was included. We then were walked upstairs & were seated in an airy dining room with several nice tables. There was an open kitchen design, which added to the airy feel of the place. It was 2 pm, but the dining room was full. We were immediately approached by our server Nan, who offered us sparkly or flat water. We got 1 of each. She was energetic & organized. After giving us a moment, Nan came around & asked us if we had any questions about the menus, & we said no, thank you. There were 3 different menus for us to peruse. A restaurant week special menu, their lunch menu, & the dinner menu. We ordered a couple of Arnold Palmers, & chose the special lunch that was offered for restaurant week. A nice radicchio & romaine salad started things off. It was served with light vinaigrette dressing. There was a touch of blue cheese, small sweet fig pieces, & a hazelnut. It was light, & tasty. The bread we were served was just ok. It was room temperature, & served with whipped margarine. I wasn’t super impressed, but it certainly wasn’t bad. The main course was a 6oz Spencer steak, (normally 10oz, but the Restaurant Week special steaks were cut smaller). & It was served with a helping of seasoned frites, or fries. Both steaks were done perfectly, & while the seasoning on the frites was a yummy traditional French garlic flavor, the temperature could’ve been a little hotter. I’m kind of picky here; I like my fries straight out of the fryer, & crispy. These were hot enough, but could’ve been better. Back to the star of the lunch, the steak. Did I mention that our steaks were cooked to perfection? YES! There was a nice aged flavor to them, & they were accompanied by a boat of béarnaise sauce. What a nice touch. Then the dessert course, of course. I chose the turtle sundae, & my lovely lady had the berry sundae. Hers was a tart hibiscus & blueberry compote atop a nice 2 scoop serving of vanilla ice cream, while the turtle sundae was the same but with caramel, English toffee, & chocolate. The Manager Rick never stopped working the floor the whole time we were there. It was busy for a mid-afternoon; almost all of the tables were occupied & there were only 2 servers & a food runner covering 15-18 (I’m guessing) tables not counting the patio area. Rick was on his game. Throughout the meal, the staff never seemed stressed, or overworked. The kitchen employees were also busy, but pleasant & cordial to each other. I could tell that the restaurant was well run. Overall it was a wonderful experience. If you're looking for some self proclaimed quasi celebrity in Ozzy Osbourne glasses to throw salt down his forearm, chop up your steak, & then dump in on your plate for exorbitant sums of money, this place is not for you. But if you like a quality steak meal with great service for a reasonable price, this place was worth the price & we left satisfied. A return trip is definitely in order.

Each and Rig

Really great brunch! I had the salmon eggs Benedict was really great! Others had steak hash and something else…. Great for brunch on Saturdays and make a reservation!

A Carnivore's Delight

By Lisa Ann R |

Worth the drive. Staff was attentive. We sat on the balcony, which was such a nice setting to enjoy our meal. I really enjoyed that we were able to view our steak selection before ordering. Our waiter steered us correctly and that was appreciated. Get the 'share' cuts, they're worth it. The bartender made the best Lemon Drop - not so sweet, just lemony, taking the citrus bite off of it. Mashed potatoes were perfect and the fried spinach salad was a new taste sensation...air fried!

My client selected this chop

By Bonnie C |

My client selected this chop house so if you like red meat you will certainly find a great selection. They are practicing social distancing with the tables and masks are required. Great appetizers and entrees. I had the shrimp and artichokes. They were a little “heavy” on the Caesar salad dressing. We shared so I couldn’t get on the side. Nice selection of wine by the glass and also beer. It is located in Tivoli Village with ample self parking around. I would return.

Raider Stadium Echo & Rig cart with prime rib sandwichs

By drdu56 |

I thought these sandwiches would be delicious treat like the restaurant but the meat had no flavor and the fat left on the slices was sickening. A waste of $20 that went right in the trash ! Will let Mr Davis know that a turkey carving station is needed instead of this garbage served at a Raider game.

I’m new to this neighborhood

By Jeffrey St Charles |

I’m new to this neighborhood and this was my first visit to this restaurant. It’s not your typical steakhouse for sure and the prices are better than the typical steakhouse. My ribeye was good, not outstanding, prepared properly. Fresh oysters and a glass of Sparking wine were a perfect start though. Service was very good. I had dinner but will probably make this a stop for late weekday lunches.

Beware what you order!

By Harald von Scotti |

This is my fifth visit to this newly opened restaurant. About one week ago, my wife and I had lunch consisting of salads and “potato pancakes “. The salads were fine excepting that the portions had shrunk by about 30 percent. The real problem were the so-called “potato pancakes “. What we were served consisted of two small hash brown patties, that , incidentally, were also burned. All that for 8 dollars. Calling that pancakes is misleading the customer, not to mention horribly expensive. Talking to the waiter about the problem did not seem to faze him. When we left the restaurant we were still hungry and we felt cheated.

Top notch service and an overall excellent experience make this a 5 star experience

By Gene S |

Located in the Tivoli center, this place is a gem. Plenty of parking in the garage or you can valet, and walk right in. Great bar scene on the first floor with a more traditional dining area upstairs. The service was impeccable. It's as if the entire staff were channeling Radar O'Reilly anticipating our every need throughout the meal. The pacing was great where we never felt rushed or waiting; our glasses were always full and if we needed even the slightest thing; they were right there to take care of it. The food was also amazing. Great quality, good portion size, and excellent presentation. Everyone in our party was happy with their meal. The price is comparable to any multi-location steakhouse across the country, but the overall experience here seemed a notch above. We will definitely be back.

Disappointed

By Beau W |

Waiter talked me into one of the huge steaks off the slab. One of the worst “high end” steaks I’ve ever had. Burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. Hell even the Mac and cheese sucked. How do you screw up Mac and cheese? Burnt pork ends and bacon and BBQ apps were good.

Total disappointment!

By Janet H |

This place was a disappointment! We come from a family that all know how to make a great steak…so, when you choose a restaurant that is a steak house, you expect a great steak. This was not what we got! I remember the look on my husband’s face when the plate was set in front of him…The service was great but not the food! We will not come here again👎

Fun Yoga girls

By Amy Harmon |

It is the restaurant to go to for great steak, seafood & of course fun dinner with friends. The service was spectacular for our big group & they do all they can to make it a memorable evening.

Super disappointing

By Lifeisonetrip |

Long time residents of LV, just to verify we are not visitors to the area. And wanted a very special place for our anniversary dinner, and with the Covid virus, not alot of options. This is a very expensive and ala carte option restaurant and although they took the distancing issue seriously, nothing else was good. The waiter/server was distracted and awful, not pleasant and unhappy. The food was okay, not exceptional, expensive and the old/cold bread was sad. Have talked to friends/family who have said they were also very disappointed with the service, food and experience of this restaurant.

Back Many times since...lovely place!

By redshoes50 |

Hi everyone! Just wanted to follow up after my first reviews of this restaurant. We try to make a visit here now each time we come into town. I have told you before, we travel to Vegas (especially Summerlin)very often. This special place is definitely worth your travel from the strip or where ever you are staying in Las Vegas. Tivoli Village is beautiful as well so it is a awesome break from the hustle that is the strip. Echo and Rig is perfect for date night or special occasions too. The atmosphere is energetic and welcoming. The staff continue to go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the food as you have read already is wonderful. Top quality and reasonable pricing. I think you will love it! Julian was our waiter this visit and has been in the past. He is amazing! Also Janet never let us want for anything . We ordered the New York steak with blue cheese sauce, (let's just bathe in that stuff ok?) and the Center Cut Lamb Chops. Drinks, salad and sides. EVERYTHING was on point! Hot, fresh and served with care. And ending with the sorbet was perfect! Thank you Julian! The new manager Dan is definitely a new and valuable asset to the staff. He was so nice and made us feel special as well. Thank you for another memorable evening! We are looking forward to returning very soon. Go ahead and try this lovely place. You won't be disappointed. I promise! Happy Summer and Enjoy!

Excellent service

By dmm4069 |

This is a great choice for visitors who want an off the strip option. The food was good and the service was truly outstanding. From the moment we entered, every staff member was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our waiter Augustine was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list and provided A+ service. I highly recommend the Echo and Rig

It was my first visit and

By Derrick1230 |

It was my first visit and probably my last. Just a lot of things happened with this evening starting from the time I arrived 15 minutes early. I was told that they would seat our party of three when we were closer to our reservations. So we waited 18 minutes and walked up to the second floor to find over 6 empty tables and they had no one come out during this time frame. Why not seat us early if the entire party is there? This restaurant is extremely loud. Almost to the point that it’s impossible to hear the person right across from you. I found the large dining hall to be rather stark and overly loud. I was there for restaurant week and you would expect to have the featured items to be a great value. Not sure this was the case expect for the add on Ice cream sandwich and add on drink. Lastly my hamburger was raw. I ordered medium well and it was simply raw. The overall experience was at best a 5 out of 10... not going to rush back again soon!

The table wiggled

By Jayfromcali |

I only get this way once a year. Every year we head to Echo and Rig and enjoy a great meal. For a top quality steak house, the price is very competitive. My steak was delicious. My friends had as equally as good experience with their meals. The wait staff works hard and management takes an active role with the staff to make sure the timing is right on the money. The good the bad and the ugly. The good: Everything with the exception of the following. The bad: no gluten free beers were offered. The ugly: the table wiggles. Yes that’s right. Imagine how good your meal and service are if the only real complaint is the table needed a shim.

Birthday dinner

By twinmom8 |

First time to Echo & Rig for birthday dinner. Located in Tivoli Village they offer free valet parking at front or self parking. There is a bar and butcher shop on first floor. Restaurant dining is on 2nd floor. Food was fabulous, they have various cuts of meat, different sides, and salads to choose from. Service was excellent, thank you to our server Ariel. We will be back!

Great, off the Strip steak house

By nak |

Dad dinner with friends here Sunday night. Excellent service, great food. Has become a tradition to go there for Labor Day, Sunday Dinner. Steaks are excellent. Prices are good for a high quality Vegas steak house. Nice atmosphere, off the Strip.

Probably one of my fav restaurants in the country

By J_Travels321 |

It's definitely worth the trip to come off the strip (if you're visiting) to come to Echo and Rig. Amazing food, amazing service... the ambiance to sit outside is really nice. I have been here in the winter time and they have the heaters on outside and it is just great. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is great but the lamb moroccan cigars are just incredible! Thanks so much!

As good as the strip but 1/2 the price

By DrRobertGuido |

The steak just melts in your mouth with perfect seasoning to create a wonderful cascade of flavors. Don’t get me started on the portobello fries. They didn’t last long. The service was good.

great steaks ruined by the rest of it

By HO HUM |

clueless hostesses...tried to get me to take stairs while my date used elevator. Way to loud, too dark, could not read menu and saw most everyone else with same issue... room was very plain and felt like a plain banquet room... service, Nickolas, for example-way too intrusive, bothersome, offered too many canned responses, tried too hard, not particularly helpful-just too much attention. Steaks were fab...other dishes meh---cauliflower way too sweet, then too hot, no finesse whatsoever, just dumped on top of veg. Plain old bread, poor quality chips-fries very good. Malbec was very nice. . Pricey but in line I suppose. wanted to like it but would choose andiron over this .

A must if you are in Vegas!! Fabulous!!

By Jody H |

This could have been one of the best meals ever! Had to go to Vegas for a conference so sought a recommendation from a family member who knows his food. I am so glad I did. The steak was perfect! After 6 days of hiking our national parks, a steak was exactly what I needed. It was cooked to perfection and presented very well! The sides recommended by our server were perfect. Specifically the Cauliflower was unbelievable! I could eat them as my meal! We also had the fried olives - different band very good! We also really enjoyed the Grilled Octopus. The service could not have been better! Our waiter knew his stuff and his recommendations were spot on. The manager/sommelier made sure she came over to introduce herself and help with wine selection. I don’t find that attention very often anymore! We had a good conversation and when she found out it was my birthday, we got a surprise dessert which hit the spot! Even though is is about 20 minutes north of the Vegas strip, this is a must visit place! You can even bring your own bottle of wine if you like! I can only hope Mr. Marvin opens a location in the east!

Steak rules

By Draghignazzo |

It was an amazing meal. The steak was delicious to say the least. My only complain is that I asked for a glass of wine, the waiter suggested one and I went for it... when the bill arrived, I was so surprised that just one glass of wine was as much as expensive as the steak. Felt it was not very honest to inform...

A solid choice

By peckinpaw |

Tried it out based on reviews and wanting to try something off The Strip. It was worth the 30 min rush hour drive. The Pros: 1) Friendly, professional greeting and offered a choice of indoor or outdoor, balcony seating; 2) We were asked if it was our first visit and of there was a special occasion; 3) Our server was a seasoned professional who explained the menu thoroughly and enthusiastically; 4) The manager, Tim, came by initially to welcome us and wish my wife a happy birthday; 5) The food was well prepared and cooked as ordered; 6) The busboy was the star of the staff; he was always present but unobtrusive. He noticed when the ice in the water glasses had melted and replaced them with fresh gasses full of ice and fresh water; and 6) As we were celebrating my wife’s 60th birthday, we were presented with a massive — and delicious serving of in-house-made decadent ice cream and caramel crackle. Learning opportunities: 1) Although we had asked to be seated outside, we were originally lead to an inside table (but happily relocated outside); 2) I noticed later that the website notes a choice of complementary purified still or sparkling water but were were not offered a choice (and would have chosen the sparkling had we been asked); 3) It would have been nice to have been offered cracked pepper for our salad and meals; 4) The manager never returned mid or spot-meal to check-in (and had he, I would have been pleased to provide this feedback i n person).

Great Dinner!

By JCW703 |

Had a wonderful dinner here- great service (well paced) with tasty appetizers (recommend the fried spinach and also the fried portobello mushrooms). The steaks were property cooked and dessert were excellent. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Vegas.

Absolutely fabulous.

By Petron71 |

From the moment we walked through the door, We was well looked after. We arrived a little early, but perched at the bar until our table was ready. Drink prices are very good. The wait staff were on the ball, fast and professional. The food was outstanding. Very flavorful, presentation was lovely. We really enjoyed our meal!

Superb

By flyingcolonel |

I save that superlative for restaurants that exceed my expectation, where the service is outstanding and the food exceptional. E&R was all that. I sat at the bar, had a great steak and cocktail and my bill was about $45. The barman, Ryan, was fantastic and recommendations on point. I was trying it out based on recommendations from a local. I will be back with my group later this week.

Burger gone bad

By michaelinmadison |

Was looking for a good Burger and this was recommended. Unfortunately the expectations didn't meet the quality of the food. The Burger arrived slightly burnt and so was the bun...I let the waiter know but he didn't seem to care. I also ordered med/well and it was way to well!!! The meat quality is good, otherwise the overcooked burger would have been terrible. But for close to $20 Burger I expected more. Seems the restaurant is frequent by the "upper class" and maybe that's part of the reason for bad service, who knows. I won't be back, it's not worth my time or money.

Loud & Hot

By wannago2015 |

Unfortunately we did not get to try the food. Anticipating a nice evening out, we arrived early for a 7:15 reservation on a cool night. After a brief wait we were led to an outside table, not given a choice of inside or outside. Understandably guests enjoy outside seating; however, the overhead heaters were blasting and it was at least 85 degrees. We decided to wait for an inside table and were led through the dining room and back downstairs. The inside DR was so loud it sounded like a cafeteria, not a fine dining venue. We decided to leave, something we have only done twice in our 30 year marriage. I get that this is social & a vibe some may enjoy; however, while dining we do enjoy having a conversation, not being overpowered by surrounding guests & loud club music.

Fabulous!

This was a recommendation from a Las Vegas resident, and we were so happy we took his advice. Away from the hustle & bustle of the Las Vegas strip, this gem of a restaurant is located in Tivoli Village, bordering the community of Summerlin. Pleasant but unpretentious decor, excellent service, and excellent menu selections at a very reasonable price. Will be back the next time I am in Las Vegas.

Outstanding

By Tazman |

First time and what a great surprise, the staff, swrvers, managers were all 5 star. The steaks were outstanding, the Osters which you had 3 choices off were excellant. The fried Spinch salad was a WOW. The restrooms had a salt scrub soap that was amazing. The prices were very very reasonable, will be going back

Nice Happy Hour..great ambiance

By vegaslady10 |

I hadn't been there since they opened..We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. I didn't order from the Happy Hour menu but I ordered Mac and Cheese and it was amazing..My friend had French Onion soup and said it was great... had a wonderful Pinot Grigio.

Delicious meal!

By Carrie0004 |

10 of us celebrated a birthday dinner there on a Tuesday night. The strip steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare with very nice seasoning. We enjoyed the bread, appetizers, sweet potatoes and carrots. Nice wine selection. Reasonably priced. As new Vegas residents we have tried several restaurants and this is one we definitely will return to. Contemporary decor. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Falling short of the Steak

By 3R T |

This was our second time visiting Echo and Rig. Our first visit was so delicious, we were back for round 2 while visiting Vegas. This visit was not as amazing. Let me start at the beginning. Our crispy bacon appetizer was delicious. Crisp, as promised, with a delightful BBQ sauce. My husband ordered a medium-rare ribeye which arrived more on the rare side. He roughed it out because he's not a complainer. I gave the waiter 2 entree choices (horseradish encrusted butterfish or lasagne and he picked the former). It arrived VERY over done. The dried out fish totally overwhelmed the possible "butter" flavor. I got more sauce to help it out but it was very disappointing and I was super hungry so I managed to get it down. We were celebrating our anniversary that evening and they brought some delicious ice cream with chocolate and caramel bits for us to share. As for the ambiance, I know it's not the fault of the restaurant but sadly when people allow their children to run around a restaurant it detracts from my enjoyment. About half way through our meal, about 3 families arrived with children (who ran up the stairs and then over to the table yelling at one another then went for a bathroom break and walked out fairly calmly but returned like gangbusters sprinting to the table and shouting to each other). I don't know that I will rush back when in town again. It was not the sublime experience we had a couple years ago.

Can't say enough good things!!!

By redshoes50 |

Hi Everyone, We had the pleasure of visiting here last month for brunch for the first time while staying in Las Vegas at the JW Marriott in Summerlin. Echo and Rig is just about 5 minutes up the street in the beautiful Tivoli Village. We were so impressed with the wonderful service and the delicious food!! Our server was Louis and he was amazing! He guided us through the menu and made wonderful suggestions that made our meal and experience the most memorable time we've had in a while. So during this month's stay in Las Vegas, we returned for dinner. During these stressful times, this beautiful place is joyful, warm and welcoming. Now who doesn't need that right now? Tonight our server was Shane and he was wonderful as well. Louis was working and welcomed us again as well. He continued to check on us through the evening and we appreciated it so much. Shane also guided us through the menu at our request and made terrific suggestions. The personal attention you receive here is unique and wonderful!!! We took a full tour of the menu starting with the portabella mushroom appetizer, to the kale salad, then spencer steak and rib eye steak (my husbands') with garlic mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts my husband wanted (cooked some amazing way,I don't even like brussel sprouts and they were awesome too!) , ending with the turtle sundae desert and cappucino. We dined and ate slowly because I just did not want it to end!! I know that sounds corny but I can't tell you how much we appreciated the service, atmosphere and the wonderful food!! And as an added bonus, the prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. Also the staff go out of their way to keep everything clean and safe. Echo and Rig is a great touch of normal in these crazy times. Most definitely a soft place to land for anyone looking for a great night out. Give this place a try. You will be able to tell the minute you enter that you are in for something special! Enjoy!

We had an excellent dinner at Echo & Rig

By Anthony S |

We had an excellent dinner at Echo & Rig. The menu was extensive, the food delicious and the prices were reasonable. The drinks were also excellent. The décor is attractive, particularly the outdoor area. It is a high energy restaurant which gets a very attractive clientele. The wait staff were charming and professional. The location is in Tivoli Village. We highly recommend Echo & Rig

Nice but not enough room

By Scigris |

Well, I had to stop in because it was recommended to me about the egg and piece of fillet for $1.99. I ordered two and I had one beer because their selection was quite limited. I was in the bar section downstairs the restaurant, which is pricey is upstairs. They do cut their own meat and they have excellent choices of meat as well. I’ve eaten upstairs and that was excellent. It seems that everyone is in the ales whereas I have an allergy to the yeast in ale so I only drink lagers. So the price of the beer was only three dollars. That’s a good deal. The people sitting next to me were really friendly but I have to ask… Where are the women? Certainly not in this place.

A special meal to celebrate our wedding.

By David G |

Me and my partner had a wedding booked and I wanted somewhere special for the evening. I do not know Las Vegas at all and was lucky enough to find Echo and rig. Wow - we were treated to amazing food and superb service. The steaks are genuinely top class and cooked to perfection. This has left a fantastic memory for myself and wife. Many many thanks to all at Echo and Rig. I will certainly tell all my friends about this gem of a restaurant.

very poor service

By Voyager40157 |

the food is good, somewhat overpriced , but portions are decent. the problem is with the service. we were a party of four , we ordered appetizers and various main courses, one of our parties ordered octopus and a salad , the octopus came in a salad, so before the main courses arrived, she asked to cancel the large salad and get something different. the waiter basically said no. we werent served our main courses until 15 minutes had passed, more than enough time for a change. the salad was uneaten, but no questions were asked by the servers. very poor and uncaring service. we will not return

Great Meal

By Vladimir1968 |

I think the highlight of the meal was my wife's Spencer steak - she says it was the best tasting steak she has ever had, and that is some high praise, given that we come from cattle country and have eaten steaks at some top notch establishments. My hanger steak (with horseradish sauce) was superb. I would also single out the fried spinach salad (brilliant!) and the brussel sprouts. The endive salad was not great, but a minor complaint in regards to a superb meal. The other thing to note is that prices are very reasonable, given it is a steak house and it is in LV...

By Okitoclan |

This dinner was part of a birthday celebration. I recommend this steakhouse 💯 %. Good costumer service, good food choices and taste. Excellent environment, a little expensive but worth it. We had a wonderful time. The patio area is very nice. The tomahawk steaks are the best. Have a great time.

Nice dinner on patio

By Kevin M |

Good service. Nice atmosphere. Chips just ok. Steak flavorful but undercooked. Prices far better than on the Strip.

No service

By Patty M |

A spontaneous visit for dinner. We knew we may have to wait since it was a Friday night and we were informed by the hostess that we could sit in the bar area to eat if we wanted to. We found a table to sit at but it was dirty. We sat for over 20 mins at the dirty table while the cocktail servers walked by us several times - refusing to make eye contact with us as we sat, least they may have had to assist us. We finally asked the bartender if anyone was working in the area. After an additional ten mins of waiting we left. We informed the hostess on the way out about what had happened and she was flippant and merely responded - ok. No apology - nothing!

A Restaurant with its own Butcher Shop!

By JAY S |

This is one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. My sister who lives in LV recommended it. We booked a reservation for two couples to celebrate my wife's birthday. We arrived a bit early, which allowed us time to shop the meat cases and gourmet product displays. We were seated at a table near the door to the outside patio dining area; it was a cool evening, and the spot was a little drafty in spite of a glass partition, but was not particularly objectionable to us. The waitstaff and even the manager were attentive from the start, using our family name to address us. Their knowledge of the menu is extensive, and no question went unanswered to our complete satisfaction. There was bread on the table; even though we passed on appetizers, we were delivered a complimentary Watermelon Pickle bowl. Our entree choices ran the gamut: rib cap steak, lamb chops, scallops, beef fillet. I thought I knew something about the doneness of grilled fare, but learned more here. All items were prepared to our exact request, and were fabulously toothsome. Many entrees feature a gourmet sauce, and all are very tasty, but it is about the prime meats at this place. Our vegetable plate choices, served individually for easy sharing, were delicious as well. The garlic mashers and Brussels sprouts were especially good; the asparagus topped with a fried egg, while kind of different, was great. Beverage choices were also plentiful, and the wine list is impressive. For the birthday girl, a nice large bowl of pound cake and ice cream with fruit was delivered gratis, with four spoons to share, a perfect solution for our party. The service was impeccable: There when you needed them, someplace else when you don't, no helicopter waiter. All staff we encountered were courteous and on top of their game. While a somewhat pricey menu is to be expected in a fine dining environment, I think that we all felt the dinner was an excellent value, compared to similar fare elsewhere.

Fency and very good restaurant

By Felixlegio |

Located in a kind of village built with italian buinding style (you feel to be in Rome or Florence) the restaurant is anyway 100% american. Their speciality is the beef steak. Big junk of steaks coming from the most important cattles farm in USA. We took the "tomawack" ... a bone steak of more than 1 Kg enough for three people. Very tasty and well cooked. Good California wine. Price ... a little expensive $100 each

Best steak I’ve had and I am 72 years old.

By Norb J |

Very nice restaurant. Any nicer and I would have felt uncomfortable. Open kitchen. Excellent service. Superb steak. Staff was very well dressed and groomed and very charming. Well worth the drive from the strip. Prices seemed reasonable. Found nothing at all wrong with second floor dinning.

First time visit. Not the last

By Andrew H |

This was a chance first time visit. What a great find. Place is hopping but the service was great. Food was great. We each had a steak. Very well served. Definitely going to be a return visit

Best steaks in town!

By C2428SBbenjaminl |

Best steaks in town! Excellent atmosphere, service, menu, price and food! All the food cooked to perfection especially the steaks. Visited Echo and Rig with a group for dinner. Ordered the pork belly burnt ends and bone marrow carne asada for appetizers. The bone marrow carne asada was “to die for.” For dinner, we ordered the ribeyes and ribeye cap. All perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection including my ribeye in black and blue, seared on the outside and cool rare on the inside. All accompanied with fresh made potato chips. So good!!! Sides big enough to share cauliflower, mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. Delish! Made another visit before leaving Las Vegas. Definitely on my must dinner spots to visit every time we go to Las Vegas.

Great Menu

By allenw78 |

First time eating here. The menu is awesome. You can get anything from sandwiches to meat, and fish. It seems that most of the items are very creative. The Mushroom fries are the best. We had the ribs eye cap steak and it was really special. All steaks had a choice of about 5 different sauces. The chips are home made and really good. Nice ambiance, free valet parking and is in Tivoli Village.Best of all is the quality of the food. Top shelf, good quality, reasonable portion size and good service. Definitely a place that we will return to.

Good atmosphere

By Travel_Guy |

Tip that helped me. They get busy. We did a 4:30 dinner big group. It got busy fast. Food and service very good. Best waiter I've ever had was here. Manager was attentive. Hostess was nice. Drinks were Premium Quality Craft Drink. I would go back here and recommend them to anyone. Located in a very nice area. Prices reasonable. Cater staff - flexible. Just tell them your price range and they can arrange a menu to fit.

Always Delicious

By Nancy W |

This restaurant is a must when visiting the Las Vegas area. We've dined here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Whenever company comes to town we especially enjoy going to the weekend brunch. The portabella fries are always a must. Our guest really enjoyed the smoked salmon benedict and being vegetarian I love the Farmer's Market breakfast. My partner chose the short rib hash and our friend had an egg plate and both were delicious. Joy and his team definitely made our morning memorable with personal service always anticipating our needs. We'll definitely ask for Joy to serve us when we return!

Seriously, no chocolate dessert???

By Kodos4 |

3rd time there and it was definitely an off night. Previous visits were just ok. But seriously, no chocolate on the dessert menu!? No mousse, chocolate cake, fudge…nothing. That’s criminal. Appetizers were good but the main steak courses were over cooked. My friend’s bavette was so gristly, it was barely edible. My fillet was over cooked as was another friend’s steak. Now, it seems Echo likes to add sauces to their steaks. However trying to crowd 9 different sauces in serving dishes was not well thought out. The waitress wasn’t good either. We celebrated two birthdays and the server brought each of them a selection of ice cream. Never asked them what they liked or wanted. Never asked the table of 6 if we wanted dessert. Never asked if we wanted after dinner coffee or cocktail. And, we weren’t there at closing, so no excuse. They have reasonable prices but I’d call ahead to see if they have chocolate on the dessert menu. If not, I’d pass on Echo and Rig.

Great

By Peter T |

The food and service here is second to none. This should be the only place you visit in Vegas. You will be very happy you went

Brunch

By JB |

Sunday Brunch. Thank you, Daniel (manager) and Rea (server), for contributing to a nice experience - we enjoyed the conversations. Our reservation table of three enjoyed the huevos ranchers, crab benedict, and short rib hash. Looking forward to going back for happy hour.

Good experience

By David A |

Great service and good food. I was very impressed by the attentive staff and the excellent advice they offered on the steaks and wine. Reasonable prices for the quality of the food. I liked the small dish menu - almost Tapas style. Nice to try a number of dishes with the main course. Good desert too. Overall it deserves its high ratings!

A nice restaurant in a good location

By yaflincoln |

A beautiful restaurant in a lovely location. The staff were warm and friendly and did their best to accommodate a large group. The sandwiches were delicious. The salads were good, although it was 90% lettuce with a couple of cherry tomatoes and a half slice of onion. The steak on the salad was quite rare and we were told it could only be medium rare or well done. it was so rare we couldn’t eat it.

Not the Usual Steakhouse

By AndoverDan |

Both of our steaks were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked to each of our specifications. They have a selection of more than the normal cuts, and the sides were unusual and delicious, especially the spicy cauliflower. Service is a well oiled machine. Our best steakhouse experience ever. Will certainly return if again in Las Vegas.

Awful Experience

By Charles Petersen |

I went here with three of my best friends for a Saturday brunch. The restaurant was only about 60% full and there was a ton of staff. The waiter was kind and took our order, and the manager even came to say hello, awesome. Then we waited… 57 minutes later our food arrived. To add insult to injury, our plates were piping hot, but the food was cold. They had obviously been sitting out. My friend’s steak salad had about a playing card size worth of cold meat, and my quiche felt like it had sat outside for a half hour. We brought this up to the manager, and he apologized, but had the audacity to say, “well you know, quiche should be served lukewarm, you know, because of the eggs..” What? He then offered to remake the food, but we didn’t want to wait any longer so we just ate it. The waiter then brought us two bowls of ice cream (for four of us), which we didn’t really want and definitely didn’t ask for. On the final bill, they comped the ice cream and a mimosa, which is not what we had an issue with. Overall just a weird and frustrating experience. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Phenomenal!!!

By Raphael W |

I had the most delightful experience dining at this outstanding restaurant this past week. I was visiting Las Vegas for the weekend, and wanted to go to a steakhouse for dinner. I chose Echo & Rig based on the stellar reviews I read from others who have dined here, and I'm so glad I did! First, this restaurant is clearly very popular. I highly recommend getting a reservation. I went by myself without a reservation on a late Sunday afternoon--thinking I would probably be able to get a table, but I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. It was well worth the wait though! I must say that I had the absolute best ribeye steak I've ever had in my life--no exaggeration! It was so full of flavor and cooked exactly as I had ordered it. The menu as a whole provided what I could only describe as a culinary adventure, with lots of interesting appetizers and side dishes. I noted that a baked potato wasn't offered, so I chose the mashed potatoes which included roasted garlic and white cheddar. So DELICIOUS! For an appetizer, I chose the fried olives (Castelvetrano) which came with a delicious dip. Portions were quite generous! The manager of the restaurant made continual rounds to welcome customers and to check on how everyone was enjoying their meals. She was so welcoming and friendly--truly delightful to talk to. As someone dining by myself, I must say that her stops to my table were such a nice touch which I greatly appreciated. The restaurant is in a very pleasant location and it was under a 20 minute drive from the hotel where I was staying on the northwest side of the city. It would also not be far from the Strip. I loved the classy yet relaxed vibe of the restaurant, and everyone from the manager to the wait staff and bar staff were very friendly and pleasant. I will for sure be back on future visits to Las Vegas! Please make the same choice that I did as I assure you: you will not be disappointed!

Highly recommend!!

By CieraTravels |

This restaurant is amazing!! The staff is very attentive, and payed very close attention to a friends gluten sensitivities... food is excellent also. Out door seating is beautiful!! Highly recommend!! Mimosas are a must for the brunch option!

Nice Ambience

By Islandboy0324 |

Steaks did not live up to their hype. My Rib Eye had a lot of fat and was mushy. My wife say she tasted better when it came to her Spencer Steak. Waiter was excellent.

Wow a new find in Las Vegas!

By Nailcutter |

Came here for dinner while in town. Restaurant is upstairs and hostess in downstairs. Once we got our table we were greeted by the manager. Service was great all night. Nice menu of selections. We got a ceaser salad, pork chop and their special steak which comes with homemade garlic chips. Bread served. Salad was very good. Pork chop was excellent. Came with veggies and mashed sweet potatoes. Steak was excellent and well seasoned. Too full for dessert. Overall the food, service and menu prices exceeded expectations.

Average brunch with great location

By MooreVegasFood |

Echo & Rig disappoints me each time I go. The one dish I loved there were the blueberry pancakes and not only are they not as big anymore, they only use a few blueberries! 🤣 it’s not that big of a deal but there’s better brunches elsewhere. Nice upstairs outdoor patio and great location.

Tomahawk steak.

By jeffd2000s |

Shout out to our waiter Shane who explain and show the different cuts of steak and how to choose inaccordance to our taste. The beef are from sustainable farms therefore I can enjoy them on a moral high ground :) This place is a bit far from the actions of vegas totally worth it. 10/10 would always come back when in town.

Pricey, read reviews. Order carefully

By Paula S |

My husband and I made reservations for date night. Seated after about a 10 minute wait. Service was excellent. We had a calamari appetizer that was exceptional and came out fast. My husband ordered the Spencer Steak. It was cooked perfectly and delicious. The homemade chips were overcooked. I ordered a Filet. 8 oz is the only size available. I ordered it rare, came out medium. (I hate sending food back because my husband and I like to eat together!) the wine sauce was good and I was glad I ordered it because the steak was tasteless. The atmosphere is drab. Zero decor. Another restaurant that so loud you can’t hear each other across the table and that with limited seating still in effect in Vegas. Do walk around Tivoli tho because it’s charming with a few nice shops.

Rude and unprofessional manager and server

By Sweet&Salty |

For my milestone birthday trip to Vegas, I decided to dine here after the raving reviews I found from trusted Yelp friends. This was definitely one of the most disappointing dining experience I've had in a while. When booking a table via Open Table, you're able to say you're celebrating a special occasion and I did exactly that. Considering this was also a very early dinner at 4:15PM as we had after-dinner plans, I was surprised we were directed to a table that wasn't ideal - dark and in a very crowded corner when many tables were available by the window. I requested for our party of four to be moved there and after checking, the hostess came back and said there was no server assigned to that area yet and were offered a different table close to the kitchen in the meantime, then we will be moved once the server starts his/her shift. Meanwhile, the manager stops by our table to ask how we are, where we're from, and if we're celebrating a special occasion. I said it's my birthday and requested kindly if we can move to the window table as soon as ready. We were told those tables are reserved for their regular guests and how he delivered it was just so insincere - like a salesman that was so full of it. He even acted surprised and said didn't you get this table because you requested for it specifically? SMH. Clearly we were off to an awful start. To add insult to injury... 1. Our extra energetic server that was almost always yelling in our ears was also giving off this cold aloof vibe. 2. Our cocktail order arrived so late and when it did, it was the same server I saw walking around with a tray containing exactly our order 15 minutes earlier looking lost. Sure enough, my drink was not chilled enough and tasted so pedestrian. 3. The entire meal felt so rushed. It seemed like there was a race to clear our table as fast as possible even when we were clearly still working on our appetizers and the table was so tight, they started changing our plates and pushing aside our app plates which still contained food. It was so awkward. 4. When it was time for dessert, I was told I can pick only 2 things on the menu for my birthday on the house. I do love a good panna cotta and unfortunately it wasn't one of the 2 options. I asked the server nicely if it was something they can make an exception for my birthday and she answered me while again almost yelling and with an attitude - I quote "Trust me, I've worked here for 5 years, we are not allowed to give this dessert for birthdays". Mind you, all desserts were priced at $8. None of it made sense. Was this a prank to make me feel like crap on my birthday? 5. After choosing a dessert no one liked, I saw the manager walk past our table. I said "Excuse Me!" 4x! Yet he kept walking past us down the staircase, then...without even looking my way, he decided to walk back up in the direction towards our table with a look of annoyance on his face. We all knew he heard me the first time. I then persisted and asked about the dessert if this was something they could do granted they couldn't accommodate our earlier request for a nice table. He caved in but again, everyone in our party sensed his annoyance. 6. When our server brought the dessert, she practically slammed the plate of panna cotta in front of me with no candle or any writing that said Happy Birthday nor did she wish me well and just walked away. A server retaliating like a child? Wow. After having dinner the previous night at Picasso, a restaurant at Bellagio, the whole experience was night and day. Sure, this is no Michelin restaurant and rightly so but I'm utterly shocked by the culture and by how unprofessional and uncultured the staff I've encountered here were. Sure, their steak is great and very reasonably priced in an ambiance that's worthy for special occasions but paired with this crappy service and with how they treated us, there is no way I would recommend this place even to those I dislike. Just awful and for all this to happen on a special occasion? Shame on you guys for being in this industry.

Best steaks in Las Vegas

By Mark R |

We have been there for dinner twice so far and the food and service have been excellent both times. It can be a bit loud on a busy weekend evening, but the outdoor patio has heaters and is significantly quieter. The side portions are huge and the steaks are cooked perfectly and are some of the best we have eaten. ( We are from Chicago, so beef is well represented) it is currently our favorite place to eat.

Much better than the hotel restaurants on the strip!

By Steveobud |

We visited Echo & Rig last Wednesday night. The food was fantastic. All four of us in our group ordered the ribeye cap steak. It was fantastic. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly, and the service was outstanding. I was impressed that the menu had a great deal of variety, and cost of the options were reasonable, particularly given the quality. It was well worth the drive from the Strip, actually I preferred the dinning experience over the high end hotel restaurants. Last but not least, a special nod to Kayla (sp?). Her wit, charm and patience with our mispronunciation of some of the entree choices helped to make this a fun and enjoyable outing.

Worth a visit

By Terry T |

We were there during Restaurant Week. Food was very very good. Service was good. Not too pricey considering the quality of the food.

Engagement celebrations.

By twiztrussler |

Chosen by our eldest daughter for her Engagement Celebration meal. We were not disappointed, a lovely establishment a classy but not over priced place to eat. Yes located out towards Queensridge and The Canyons, but worth the short taxi drive there. Primarily an American Steakhouse, but one of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas.Superb....... I save that superlative for restaurants that exceed my expectation, where the service is outstanding and the food exceptional. Just have a steak and do not bother with the starters as the steak are large delicious and tasty .We ate upstairs, lovely views and setting. Downstairs you can see the meats in the butchers shop so you can see what you are going to eat. Even the washrooms are Great. Can't wait to eat there again, Great Place.

Great meal...

By LMK27 |

This was our second visit to Echo and Rig and we were not disappointed! The hostess and serving staff were very helpful and nice. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly. My husband totally enjoyed the pork chop. We will definitely come back when we visit Las Vegas again.

Beef!!!!

By flipnEG |

Celebrated my birthday with family - party of 8 adults and 2 children. Reservations were quick and easy (2 days in advance). Upon checking in...hostess quickly greeted me with Happy Birthday. Throughout then evening servers also greeted me. Menu is mostly a variety of beef cuts and selections of side dishes that can be ordered for sharing! The orders were cooked to perfection (medium rare to medium well). Only a minor hiccup - 2?steaks were over cooked, but not served. The manager oversees the grilling and as meals were being served, apologized and explained that the steaks were overcooked. He asked what additional sides we wanted as well as glasses of wine - gratis! Ohhhhh, the freshly baked bread was sooooo yummy! After dinner plates were cleared, our server brings out this dish of ice cream with lit candle. It was large enough for everyone to have a spoonful! Children’s meals are also available. The 5 cheese Mac & Cheese was excellent as was the chicken nuggets, and the fried cooked to perfection (none over fried). One of the best meals (filet mignon) ever! Will be going back!!!

A different Steak House experience off the strip

By JTip60 |

Decided to get off the Vegas strip for a dinner and the previous reviews sounded intriguing, so we made a last minute reservation for this establishment. We were seated on time and greeted at the table by our server and the manager - needless to say service was impeccable all evening. Dining inside the noise level was high, I would recommend outdoor seating if a quiet conversation is a goal. The appetizer and side dishes were very good, the wine list as expected for a higher end dining experience. The steak themselves were prepared as ordered but we both found the flavor to be good - not great. Overall a very enjoyable experience with outstanding service and a safe choice to entertain others, if only the conversation could be held with normal talking voices.

Significant Letdown

None of the staff, including the manager whom visited our table, mentioned it was our anniversary even though it was listed in the reservation & mentioned to the hostess when we got there. We weren't shown a market price separate menu listing which we’ve heard about from people who recommended Echo & Rig to us. Not sure if that still exists or not. It was hot & loud upstairs where we were seated. I was sweating the entire meal, Mrs was hot as well, & they had a floor fan going in a part of the space due to the heat. Not appropriate for a high-end establishment. Our table was wobbly. Waiter never asked how our food was or if we needed anything with it after we were served. Ahi tuna entree was on point, everything else, from bread, sides, steak, & dessert was no more than *meh* level & in fact, VERY bland. Neither one of us could taste any garlic or cheese in our 'garlic mashed potatoes'. Steak was tender, but under-seasoned & way too charred… all we could taste was the char. By the time we were walking back to our car I was starting to feel bad & by the time we got home I was sick, in the bathroom & then in bed for a couple of hours. Not sure if it was from anything at the restaurant for sure, but I did get sick after our meal. We had very high hopes for Echo & Rig based on feedback from coworkers, but the only thing that was worthy of fine-dining with our experience was the Ahi dish & thus I can't rate them higher than what I'm rating them.
