Our son got engaged, and we wanted to plan a celebration with their friends on short notice. We checked out the rooftop venue at The Edge, and it's gorgeous! Nice couches, beautiful lights, and a cool vibe. We tried to book on OpenTable, but they were booked up for most of the night. We reached out to the manager Josh, and he made it happen for us. He found a nice space at an earlier time, and welcomed us in when we arrived. TJ and the other staff kept things going and really made it a party for us with drinks and rounds of shots. Service was impeccable. Love this place! Wonderful way to celebrate their engagement!

Great Pool and Bar in middle of City Amanda serving pool guests was GREAT. Very genuinely friendly and efficient. Bartender was also very nice and accommodating-Offering to serve us a quick drink even though he was closed for the evening.

The sunset view is pretty amazing. There were about a dozen people up taking pictures as the sunset between the buildings.

While it is only on the 5th floor, the Edge Bar provides spectacular views of the city and the river. Service is very well done, and they have created a variety of fun drinks. They have enough appetizers to be interesting. Note that you need to walk past the pool to find the Rooftop bar.

Enjoyed going up to the rooftop pool bar after a long day of conferences. Very relaxing and enjoyed watching the sunset. The food was very good too.

This is the pool deck at the Marriott. It's a lovely pool with the bar at one end. There's lot of seating on two different levels. There are several cabanas that can be reserved. Service is great. My only complaint is that the music is far too loud. If I want music pounding away I can go to a bar/disco. The pool should be a quiet place to relax and visit.

The setting for this bar is unique. Bar area is very comfortable and your view of downtown Austin is fabulous. It could be pretty windy at times. Service was great. Drinks were very reasonable and a good value. Great place to meet with friends for a drink before experiencing the many types of dining available.

We loved the atmosphere of the JW Marriott pool and rooftop bar. Juliana was super sweet and attentive. The chips, hot sauce, guacamole, and queso were wonderful. We also ate the turkey pita, Texican salad with chicken, and pork tacos. Definitely would stay at this hotel again and would love to eat and lounge at this pool! They have wonderful cabanas too! We will Reccomended and return!

Loved this bar. Great views despite only being on the 5th floor. Service from Chelsea was excellent. Cocktails where good, food ok but not cheap for small plates.

Although located on the fifth floor, the outdoor pool is heated - apparently about 28C and offers good views to the south. It is also large for an hotel pool. Even when fairly well patronised in teh late afternoon, it does not seem to get too crowded.

Nice sized rooftop bar shared with the pool. Be sure to walk around and to the end to see beautiful view of the Capitol at night

What a delightful spot for drinks! The Edge over looks Congress avenue and we were fortuntate enough to get the perfect table where we could look to Lady Bird Lake as well as the Texas Capital building. We did try the gaucamole and chips appetizer, which was nice. The cocktails were creative and enjoyable. The lounge is at the JW Marriott, which is a 4 star hotel but I feel this was closer to a 5 star hotel lounge because of the location and view. Service was excellent and prices were decent for downtown Austin. Highly recommended.

The view is spectacular! The staff really cares about your experience here. Also there is a spa right by the pool

Made reservations to check out Snow Much Fun on a Friday night. The music was fantastic, drinks were good, and the service was on point. Excellent view of downtown on the roof top. Would go back.

Nice place to go enjoy a drink on a rooftop downtown and that's about it. Let is Snow was disappointing and messy. Basically a very sad version of a Caribbean resort foam pool party on a rooftop. Drinks were MEH. And the food situation was downright disappointing. Don't do it - not even for a snack. If you would like to eat, go to the restaurant downstairs or better yet, one of other great independent restaurants nearby. We dine out a lot and I don't ever quibble about price because having food prepared and served to you is truly a luxury and typically worth it. However, not in this case. Example $30 Charcuterie Board (which is totally reasonable for a basic board at most places) = large bunch grapes, a couple of mandarin oranges, awful jam, 3 pieces each of 2 types of cheese, 3 pieces each of thinly sliced salami and prosciutto and 6 toasts. Honestly would have rather had a P3 snack pack served for each person. I felt so bad that I dragged my group here for my best friend's birthday kick off. Everyone worked very hard to act like it was a fun experience, but one drink and DONE - So awkward.

While my wife & I were swimming during our recent stay I ordered myself a Cosmopolitan cocktail using the pool deck phone. The drink was delivered within 5 minutes, or so, by a friendly server. It was nice to see friendly & prompt service even during the colder months of the year when the pool deck is rarely used.

Teresa was amazing! She took such great care of our group. She was very attentive and prompt. Ambiance, drinks, and food were wonderful. We will definitely be back :)

Nice range of cocktails. We had drinks here before going out to dinner so we were on the early side and it wasn’t crowded. Friendly service. I would go here again when staying at the JW but I can’t say I would make the effort if I wasn’t because there are so many cool bars in Austin. Friendly and helpful service!
Best sunset in Austin.
This is THE spot to spend the evening in Austin. Great views during twilight and just wow after dark. Service is excellent, Leo is as good as they come service wise. Hope to return soon.
