Slightly above average food.

By Jim T |

Okay, so had to try this place because I had several people that told me it was awesome. Great decor and ambience at the location I visited on Peachtree Road. Unfortunately, was sat outside and took 20 minutes for server to get to me, and they weren't busy, Problem. People got sat 10 minutes after me on deck and got service before me, three tables occupied outside, me and two more. Again, problem. Ordered one of their skillet scrambles. Potatoes somewhat overcooked, eggs over medium were perfect, side of bacon was above average. Biscuit was average, house made jam good. Really good cup of coffee. On a 1 to 5 rating, 5 being the best, I'd give food a 4 because of correctly prepared eggs, ambience a 5, Service, unfortunately a 2. But much better than a Waffle House type place.

Awesome Breakfast

By 92carelv |

It is always nice when you find a gem unexpectedly and that is exactly what Egg Harbor Cafe is. We were to early for the Puppet Museum so we decided to go for breakfast nearby and found this place. The food was AWESOME! And the service and ambiance were great too. Will definitely return if we come past this way again.

Good food

By SSBurto |

The food was good overall. The service was nice. The wheat pancakes were really the highlight of the breakfast. They were delicious. I know they said the orange strawberry juice was a fan favorite but I would’ve preferred regular degular OJ.

Good Service, Good Food

By Erin W |

My daughter and I went to Egg Harbor on a Wednesday morning. It was in a small building that held a beauty salon and maybe another couple of businesses. There was validated parking in a small garage, where you had to enter your license plate number in the computer at the restaurant. The restaurant was a breakfast and lunch place, marketed as fresh and local. On a Wednesday morning, we were quickly seated at about 9:45. Our waitress was friendly. We asked for coffee and she brought it quickly- a carafe at the table and two pottery style mugs. The mugs were thick and kept the coffee warm. My daughter ordered the Belgian waffle and cheese grits. The waffle was a typical Belgian waffle, good. She thought the grits were a little salty, but terrific. I ordered the Texas’s French toast combo, with two eggs and bacon. The French toast was beautiful and tasted great. The texture was really good and the cinnamon taste did not overwhelm. I ordered the eggs scrambled with cheese. Very good. They have a signature egg seasoning on the table that added a nice kick to them. There were 4 slices of bacon. I asked for extra crispy and they were perfect. Very crispy without being burnt. The waitress touched base with us, but wasn’t obtrusive. She gave us to go cups for the coffee. We paid at the hostess station. It was pricey- about $30, then add a tip. I can see the place getting slammed on the weekends, and parking being an issue, but it was enjoyable.

Quaint breakfast place for a Sunday morning!

I came here for breakfast with my boyfriend and loved it!! I got the cinnamon roll French toast and had some of my boyfriends Swedish egg thing and both items were awesome! Super adorable decorations and very sweet staff! Can't wait to come back again when we visit Atlanta :-D

Great Breakfast

Great place for those who want an affordable brunch pancakes where the best I've had in a very long time. Great service and reasonable prices.

Excellent Gluten-Free Choices

By SCGTFan |

This is a great place for a relaxing and good breakfast with a wide-choice of options. The gluten-free menu was extensive and excellent for those who have a gluten allergy. Our server was friendly and well-informed on the menu choices. There were 4 of us and we all loved our food -- it was all fresh and tasty. The shashouka was delicious!! We were visiting from out of town, but will definitely eat here again the next time we are in Atlanta.

Great breakfast

By travelman1979_10 |

Ate here with a large group for breakfast. No reservations, but we were seated immediately. Plenty to choose from on the menu. The food was very good and our servers were friendly. Would return.

Wonderful food and Service

By MarkV709 |

Business breakfast and a great combination of private seating in a booth, courteous attentive server and good food an value. San Antonio skillet breakfast was my choice and a great one. Spicier than I expected but I like it that way. Fresh, good portions and value. Funky tea dispenser that added nothing to the experience, but it did add to the conversation. This would be a permanent destination for breakfast if I lived here.

Excellent Breakfast!!

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I so very pleased with the service and the food. The server was so pleasant and the food was awesome. I wish we had one back home because it would definitely be my number 1 breakfast spot if it was! A must try!

French toast & corned beef hash were my favs

I took my family to this establishment and we all really enjoyed our meals. I had french toast, which was the best I've ever had.

Great Breakfast!!

Really delicious menu items. They have your usual fare and some other fun things like crepes and different kinds of pancakes! Be adventurous and try the banana bread french toast! It's delicious!

Definitely try

Wows. From the beginning we impressed. The setting, food , cleanliness, service. Perfect. It is the place you must try when you are in Atlanta. Such a delicious breakfast we had.

Sail on in to Egg Harbor

By Bzoo2013 |

What a clean and spacious cafe to share with family and friends, especially on Easter Sunday. The staff was very friendly and we were seated immediately after arriving for breakfast. We enjoyed Cassie's Crepes, the Quinoa Skillet and the Bacado Omelette. Each entree was delicious and we especially enjoyed their chicken sausage. We appreciated the individual coffee pot placed on our table so we could refresh our cups as needed. We loved the signs of humor throughout the restaurant and almost titled our review as such: "Wicked chickens lay deviled eggs!"

Sadly Disappointing for the first time ever

By Samiya7 |

This is our favorite breakfast go to in Atlanta and it is usually excellent. We were disappointed at our last visit with a not so great meal. The potatoes were cold, stale and hard as if they were from the day before. My eggs were cold. The avocado toast was drowned in balsamic. This place is on the pricey side and we don’t mind paying more but we expect great food. Our server was super friendly. We were offered new potatoes or hash browns but once you start eating you don’t want to stop and wait to eat in shifts. Someone should be checking food quality and temperature before the food leaves the kitchen.

Great Brunch!

By Boilerfjs1 |

Family couldn't decide as some wanted breakfast and some wanted lunch. Found this searching online and ended up being perfect. Signature wheat pancakes were a hit. Cinnamon roll for the table was the perfect appetizer. Great coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. Prepare for a long wait to be seated. We utilized the website to check in. It told us how many groups were in front of us and how long it would most likely take. Spot on prediction. Got a text as we were walking in the door 45 min after checking in.

Many Mouths to Please? Seek Safe Harbor Here

By kortneyyvonne |

Egg Harbor...well, it's a little more than just a name. Somewhere nestled between the comfort food of an old fashioned diner and the next big step up, Egg Harbor offers just enough variety, just enough comfort, just enough Welcome to ensure that you feel like you can bring the whole family--grand parents, kids, and all. This said, let me take a moment to address that this restaurant is about anything but pretense. So, for something fancy, look to my other reviews. Here's what you need to know: --Open until about 2 PM, it's all about breakfast and lunch. But really it's all about breakfast. Trust me. Of the gajillion times I've been, there's never been an issue. --Leading me to my second pronouncement. This is a truly GF friendly place. You don't feel cheated here. No stuck ordering sides only or salad. But like with any restaurant, make sure to take your gluten blockers. My faves: pancakes (sugar free syrup), cinnamon rolls (are life!!!), build-your-own omelette, and chicken sausage. Yep, all GF friendly. They also have gluten ones, too. But ask any waiter and they'll tell you that they prefer the GF ones. Their hot chocolate is good, as well. If you want a sandwich, you can get that WITH bread, not a lettuce wrap. --There's enough variety on their menu to appeal to everyone, GF or not. --They can accommodate larger parties; last month we had 10 people and a 6 weeks old. --The line during peak times is long; but if it's got a line, that should tell you something. While you wait, they do offer you water or coffee. You may have to stand or find a place outside to sit if the long benches are taken. --Valet is available, but not the most reliable. Just park upstairs and take the elevator down. --Lastly, prices are reasonable. I repeat: prices are reasonable. So, if you're lost in a sea of breakfast, brunch, and lunch, I pray you make your way here and find safe harbor.

GF Cinnamon Roll? YEAH!!!

By Mary Polen |

Girls weekend in Atlanta, GA and starving for an amazing breakfast. Unfortunately two of us are gluten free and "amazing" breakfasts must come with something sweetly gooey and carbo-licious! We found it! While some restaurants claim they have gluten free (GF) options, Egg Harbor offers a full and wonderful GF menu that isn't just eggs and veggies. One of my besties had GF pancakes with scrambled eggs, GF turkey sausage, and a GF cinnamon roll slathered in cream cheese icing! My other Bestie (not gluten free :(, but we love you) had Shashuka, a tomato gravy with poached eggs and feta. Then, I had the GF creamy dreamy grits with scrambled eggs, GF cinnamon roll with icing, and GF turkey sausage. The food was flavorful, filling, and presented beautifully. Service was very nice. Our waitress was friendly and patient as we gluten free freaks fondled over the menu and ogled over "choices". Unanimously, we plan to visit Egg Harbor again tomorrow, for round 2!!! GF CINNAMON ROLLS!!!!!!

Great breakfast spot

By AWRich |

Stopped in the am for breakfast - warm welcome from the time we walked in the door. Pumpkin pancakes, Bacado omelet and skillet breakfast were delicious and the service was great. This will be a repeater!

Great Breakfast

By FTichy |

Very easy to park which in some places can be a problem. The restaurant feels cozy and warm The food and staff are great. We went during the week so did not see the wait time mentioned in other reviews. I imagine that during the weekend it would be very busy because it is a very nice breakfast place.

Best skillets ever!

By BlueFloralUmbrella |

Breakfast restaurants can be over-hyped. I mean, come on, eggs, home fries, breakfast meats, pancakes... yawn... But this place combines all the truly flavorful items, and healthy options (like riced cauliflower in place of home fries -- whaaaattt???!?!) to bring the kapow to mundane breakfast. We had awesome foods there. I say foods, because we all tasted each other's breakfasts, wondering if we shouldn't have gotten what the others got. Outstanding tastes, freshest ingredients, flavorful extras (like freshly chopped cilantro, house-made jams, freshly sliced and perfectly ripened avocado), attentive and friendly service, and the best coffee served in the most wondeful chimney mugs (it doesn't get as cold that way)... A great breakfast/brunch experience!

I was there with family for breakfast.

By Vijita87 |

We had to wait for 15-20 minutes but it was worth the wait. They do have some open space outside. It was crowded but service was quick. Nice portions, good food. We ordered omelet with veggies & cinnamon toast. Juice & coffee all were good.

Early Morning Nourishment

Great service, and the gluten free menus was one of the best I have seen for breakfast. The food was excellent I will be back.

Great Place for Breakfast

By JEwing4 |

When members of my wife's family all came to town last week, we decided to have breakfast at Egg Harbor on Peachtree. My wife and I go there a couple of times per month and we love the selection of breakfast items, the great service, and for me most particularly, the Intelligentsia Brand Coffee. The atmosphere is bright and sunny, and there is an outside part where you can bring your dog (though we did not bring our Great Pyr or Aussies!) I have had many items on the menu over time, and I have never been disappointed. This time I had the Aztec Omlet which includes chorizo sausage, fresh jalapeños, avocado and Jack cheese. It was awesome, and I will likely stick with that for a while I enjoyed it so much. They always serve a little dish of preserves with your toast or english muffin, which makes it extra special. It's in a red brick high rise on Peachtree right past 28th if you are going south - to park you turn right on 28th, then left into the parking lot, go to the second floor of the lot toward the front of the building, and then catch the elevator down to the ground floor. Parking is free and there is lots of it. I strongly recommend this for a very tasty, naturally-lighted and cheerful breakfast experience.

What an inviting and cozy place to dine for brunch or breakfast!! Just wonderful service. The food is so so yummy!! Ada, my server, was just so patient! Just the best breakfast spot!

Great breakfast spot

By Olawale O |

Food is great. Service is great. Our server was Katherine. She was amazing. Food came out quickly. It was to our expectations. The strawberry orange juice is a tasty drink. It’s a must try.

Fantastic delicious breakfast

By StevenHScher |

We've been here before several times but always on a busy Sunday morning. It was refreshing having not to wait & a little quieter. I had the eggs Benedict ($10) but instead of hollandaise sauce I had them use sausage gravy. It was so good. My wife built an egg white omelette, so did one of our friends. All our dishes were fantastic. The service was excellent. Free validated covered parking was nice on a rainy day. Yum.

Gluten free ain't easy!!

By Ronman1026 |

We were in Atlanta for breakfast and needed to find something gluten free. Not only did they have an entire GF menu, but they took away the regular menu when I asked her about GF, so the temptation wasn't there LOL Great food, incredible service!!

Great New Year's Day breakfast

By StevenHScher |

We had a short wait for a table. I ordered the traditional breakfast ($9), which included 2 eggs, harbor potatoes, English muffin & choice of meats, I had bacon, 4 slices. It was delicious. My wife had the Texas French Toast combo ($11). It included 2 eggs, 2 slices of French toast, & choice of meat. The French toast was delicious. Our server Chelsey was excellent. We enjoyed our meal. They have underground free parking.

Horrible lousy customer service

By Ann Thomson |

We came so our celiac daughter could get pancakes. The hostess kept lying about the wait time-first it was 20 minutes and then another 20 minutes. We asked if there was a busload of people in front of us. They said no. They said they had only one table Cleaner so it was slow (hint: manager should jump in and clean tables!). After an hour, they told us there was a 27 person party in front of us. And it would be another 20 minutes. I asked about all the empty tables and they said they couldn't seat us. My kids left crying after waiting an hour!! We will never come back!!!

Awesome place for breakfast

By David R |

This restaurant is by far my A+ award for COVID safety protocol. We decided to go here for their crepes & shiitake mushroom omelette. The food was delicious, but the service stood out. When you arrive and check-in, the hostess takes your temperature. When you are seated they have a plastic table stand with QR code for menu. All servers wear their face masks and tables are appropriately distanced. When you order, your server will ask you about condiments and they are brought and staged prior to arrival of food. The plates are nice. They are like of stone color with. Down rims and it makes your food really pop/look more appealing than other plates. I wish I had this for home. Servers help each other and they want to insure your visit is wonderful. I had asked for biscuit versus English muffin. Biscuits are made in house. They brought me a biscuit and my wife took care of the extra English muffins. I look forward to making another trip here in the future While they don’t offer reservations, you can get on wait list. Highly recommend.

Awesome Breakfast

By BeautifulMC |

Went for our last meal on our anniversary quick get a way. Great Breakfast, better atmosphere! Wait was around 30 mins on a Sunday morning but it was well worth it. I got Matt meaty skillet & my husband, the chicken sausage & goat cheese scrambler! Great taste & very filling. The strawberry orange juice is Great & our waiter, David was super nice, informative & attentive. Will definitely be back on another trip to ATL!

Great Breakfast spot

By Jimbo1607 |

I have eaten here quite often. It is close to Piedmont hospital where I spent a significant amount of time this year. The staff are awesome. Friendly and very accommodating. There skillets and scrambles come with potatoes. I am on a low carb diet so I get them to substitute the potatoes for spinach and mushrooms and jalapenos on occasion. The coffee is always fresh and they leave a pot on the table.

Amazing breakfast!

By Sagynahum |

We came here this morning for breakfast and we couldn’t be more happy about it! The staff is so patient and nice, and the service is just great. We got the food pretty quickly and it was so, so good. Everything is fresh and made with love. Highly recommended!!!

Nice place for breakfast - good food and pleasant staff - long waits

By CraftBeers |

I'm not quite sure why this place is so popular with long waits. We visited two different mornings and both time the wait was incredibly long. I enjoyed my time here. The employees were genuinely nice and cared about my experience. The food was okay, but not great. I would come back here without hesitation if there was not a wait. I would not put my name on a list that would take 45 minutes to an hour to get a seat. It's a solid place to have a very good experience. Parking in the garage behind the restaurant is free on the weekend.

Go-to Breakfast spot

By hroseatl |

Egg Harbor Cafe never disappoints! I am not a huge breakfast person, but this has become our weekend go-to spot over the last 2 years. The menu has options for everyone. They have THE BEST blueberry pancakes ever. I cannot eat pancakes anywhere else because nowhere compares. The skillets are very good as well. Can't go wrong with those. They make homemade hash browns that are delicious. They also have breakfast specials that are usually tasty. Usually you don't have to wait to long, but it can get to over 30 minutes on a weekend. They offer free coffee and have plenty of space indoors and outdoors to wait. Only once have we had mediocre service, otherwise, it's always been phenomenal.

Best Breakfast in Atlanta

By Jennifer D |

My husband I go here at least two times a month and EVERYTHING is delicious. I have yet to be disappointed. The flavored coffee is a must and so is the strawberry orange juice!) The menu has so many options it is often hard to choose. I have celiac disease and their gluten free menu is almost as large as their normal menu including the most AMAZING cinnamon roll breakfast GF style! The staff always seems to be aware of the severity of celiac disease and I have never had an issue. This is by far the best breakfast available in Atlanta!

Perfect

By Jill M |

Had a late breakfast here. Good coffee. Good service. Good food. The space is bright and clean. The manager stopped by to chat. A very pleasant start to our day. Recommended.

Really good for take out

By asmwmom |

We ordered from here because it has gluten free options for our daughter, and everything was really good! I can only imagine how great it would be if you ate there and it was fresh from the kitchen!! I will certainly find out on my next visit!

Delicious and Friendly

By laniappe |

I go to Egg Harbor Cafe in Buckhead several times a month. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Even the gluten-free items are wonderful say both of my friends who are very familiar with mediocre gluten-free restaurant fare from other restaurants. The service is great. The front of the restaurant can be noisy, but the two areas in the back are much quieter. I wish the Cafe would take reservations because there is almost always a wait of 20-45 minutes, but take-out can be ready in 10-20 minutes.

Great food and service

By Joyseats |

This is a friendly and warm place with really good food. I had a quinoa skillet (who knew?!) that was fantastic. Our server was attentive and this is a smart restaurant: a pitcher of coffee and a pitcher of water are left in your table so you can do what you came to do. Eat here.

Great Brunch spot

By jonp34 |

went here for brunch on a Sunday morning and loved it. Indoor and outdoor seating and great food and service. What's not to like. Totally agree with a previous reviewer about the cinnamon French toast - awesome.

Yum!

By oliverandcheryl |

Friendly staff, pretty decor and great food! Everything you want in a restaurant. The menu offered some traditional and some trendy foods. The pancakes were delicious. I would recommend this place for a breakfast. It is family friendly, super cute and cozy.

Let's bring these to Massachusetts!

By traveler4erenever |

I liked this place so much I would go back again and again and I'm sorry there are none of these in Massachusetts, or CT, or RI. Coffee in the lobby takes the pain out of the wait. The food is terrific and varied. I am still laughing over the sign they have at the front of the store that states: If you leave your children unattended, we will give them an Expresso and a free puppy.

Big portion sizes

By lfer6f |

Came here for breakfast. There was a good selection and I went for French banana bread toast. I saw bottles of syrup on the tables but I got charged $2 for maple syrup. The portion size was a little excessive and it would have been nice to have more options with fresh fruit.

Lots of food at a decent price

By SimeyTravels |

Really good find on our last full day in Atlanta. We ended up walking there from our hotel, and even though it was almost 10 am on a Saturday, the wait wasn't terrible. We were told it'd be about 20 minutes, but they got us seated faster than that. Of course, we were on the patio, and the sun was beating down on us, even under the umbrella (the fact that we were against the windows, and the reflection of the sun was adding to the heat didn't help), but it didn't get too bad. It was uncomfortable for a bit, and I was sweating just sitting there, but we chose first available seating, so that was our fault. Continuing the thread that we experienced everywhere in Atlanta, the waiter was very friendly and full of advice. He got us set up with coffee, and there was a pitcher of water with lemon already on the table (thank goodness). I went with the Geneva Rösti (a popular dish, according to the waiter), and my husband went with the San Antonio skillet. The restaurant was busy, so we expected a bit of wait, and in that, we were not wrong. I can't pretend to be upset or surprised by that, though - again, they had quite a full restaurant, and there were plenty of people who were seated before us, so we knew to expect to have to wait a bit for our food. It was worth it. The Geneva Rösti was surprisingly large, and quite tasty. It's basically an overly-large potato pancake with bacon, eggs and onion rolled up into it, with melted cheese and a few dollops of sour cream on top. May not sound fancy or inspired, but it was very good. And filling! It came with a small cup of fresh fruit and an English muffin. I couldn't finish my meal. My husband loved his skillet, as well. He wanted something spicy, and he got it with the meal. It had chorizo, jalapenos, bacon and veggies mixed up in it, and also came with an English muffin. He was able to finish his meal (good thing, too, as it turned out to be the only thing we had to eat that day), though he did stop a few times to ease the fire burning on his tongue. I guess the chorizo was spicy, and the addition of the jalapeno spices got to be too much. Lots of good food at a reasonable price, and friendly and efficient people working there. We'd definitely go back if we're ever in the area again.

Great Breakfast Place

By TravelerJohn48 |

My wife and I had a long layover at the Atlanta airport on our way to Europe. So we rented a car and went out for breakfast. We found this restaurant using Trip Advisor and couldn't have been happier. Their menu is very extensive and has just about anything you could possibly want. The food was all excellent and the service was superb. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outdoors although it does tend to get hot in the summertime. Our waiter suggested we drink iced coffee and it was a hit. We would go here frequently if they were located in our hometown.

Great business breakfast

By FloridaNativeSunskr |

Plenty of parking in attached parking garage and not a 'fast' pace for dining. This worked well for our business breakfast as we occupied a table for an hour plus. We never felt hurried ... And the bonus was that the food was good!

AMAZING Breakfast!!

By Barry S |

We were visiting our son in Atlanta and he brought us here for Breakfast. What a great experience. The Menu was varied and had some unusual dishes. The service was excellent and the food was just delicious! Our only regret is that they do not have one where we live!!

Great food

By Erin Hatcher |

Our family loved our meal at Egg Harbor! The shrimp and grits was our favorite, and everyone found something on the menu they loved! Service was great and speedy

Gluten Free Too!

By mturner2016 |

Excellent food, staff, location and best of all...an incredible gluten free menu! With two family members being Celiac, gluten free food when traveling can be difficult to find. Egg Harbor Cafe had delicious choices and knowledge which had us eating breakfast - brunch there three out of three mornings while visiting Atlanta. The cinnamon rolls, pancakes, sausages, "hash brown" potatoes, coffee, and phenomenal skillet dishes were all incredible and no issues from the Celiac crew! Definitely our new "go-to" spot for breakfast and lunch when in Atlanta. They close at 2pm.

Excellent Dining

By Spongie-retired |

Egg Harbor Cafe offers an outstanding menu selection in a quiet atmosphere. The service was outstanding and never rushed us. The waitress was personable and attended to all our needs. The food was superbly prepared and well presented.

Awful over stewed coffee

By D P |

Looked a nice place for breakfast but actually was not impressed at all. The coffee tasted like it had been stewed all night and the breakfast its self was non impressive- a sort of berry soup with chai and some lame toast. Only good bit was the free parking around the back!

Great gluten-free menu!

By David C |

The gluten-free cinnamon roll is absolutely fantastic! The scrambled eggs combo with potatoes and bacon + sausage was also delicious. Definitely want to return!

Consistently Good

By coolblueinteractive |

this place is part of a chain and there is a location 100yds from our office on Peachtree St. ( near Piedmont hospital). Breakfast is their main offering all day but they also have a good selection of sandwiches and some salads. The Tuna melt is one of my goto items. I think it is very busy on weekend mornings but we find it easy to get in and very consistent at being good M-F for lunch and I would assume the same for Breakfast M-F.

Wonderful

By mandyschneb |

Food was delicious. Service was great. Restaurant was clean. Coffee was great. Went twice while we were in Atlanta. Got the French toast and omelette. Both was fabulous.

Excellent service and menu

I was in Atlanta for a wedding and went here on a recommendation . We were a party of 9 and didn't wait long to be seated! The menu was diverse and the service was excellent!

Gluten free pancakes out of this world

By Okie15 |

Hard to find decent gluten-free classics like Pancakes, and egg harbor nailed it. Great tea, eggs and bacon as well. Very friendly staff.

Love this place for Brunch

By seven21 |

The food is excellent. They offer a wide variety of options, including healthy egg white omelettes and gluten free pancakes. We didn't care for the cold quinoa, but the acai bowl was pretty good (kale me crazy offers a better option though). The omelettes are always cooked perfectly and the gluten free pancakes are a nice indulgence. Gluten free toast is also nice to see on the menu. The loose leaf tea in your own personal steeping container that you can dispense right into your cup is a nice touch as well. The line outside on the weekend can be intimidating, but the wait is usually only 20 - 25 minutes. It moves pretty quick. Get their early if you want to beat the weekend brunch crowd.

Business breakfast

First trip to the Egg Harbor Cafe. My wife got a skillet and got the Bacado omelette. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. Prices are affordable for the area. We highly recommend the Egg Harbor Cafe!

Lunch at Egg Harbor Cafe

By James R |

We had breakfast at 12:30 p.m. October 29 at Egg Harbor Café. The service was great with a very thoughtful waiter. The food is excellent. Careful thought is used to make sure food is good for humans like using cage free eggs which are more nutritious than eggs produced in a barn. Mixing scallions with egg dishes and potatoes has to be healthful.

Great breakfast

By dermdawg |

Great breakfast One of my favorites in atlanta. Switch your English muffin to a biscuit with honey butter for no extra charge.

Great Sunday Brunch

By EC098 |

Loved the selection of the menu. The Healthy Scrambler was great! Also enjoyed a carafe of strawberry orange juice- there was just enough for three to share. Cute decor, good atmosphere. We'll be back!

I LOVE This Place

By JessicaLTL |

Every time I'm in Atlanta I have to visit this place. The pancakes are everything!! The Lemon Poppyseed pancake is a must!! They have these egg/potato omelette things that are so good. I forgot what they are called. The staff was friendly. This is also a good place for kids. Their kids menu is fun and full of good choices

Hungry? This is the restaurant for you. From skillets to pancakes, great coffee and fabulous strawberry OJ. Free parking, kid friendly, A-1 staff. You'll come back for more.

French toast in the afternoon

By Philsgreat |

Definitely a popular, must visit spot. Expect a wait (ours was about 25min). Very attentive staff, with quick turn around time between the order and the meal time. Staff is friendly and helpful. They even let us change our order at the last minute without a problem + the is free parking. I recommend getting the cinnamon roll French toast.

Oatmeal, cinnamon roll French toast are yummy

By NikaNumber1 |

They have garage paid parking nearby, if you don't eat here. There is a supposedly a sign at the machine in the garage, we missed it. Note: You have to pay at the main entrance for the restaurant only, not at the elevator. It' costs $8 if you pay at the machine by the elevator in the garage! Music is folky style music, very chilled and laid back. The staff are very focused on customer service and making your experience the best it can be. A short wait for Saturday morning is about 10-15 minutes. Or only took us less than 5 minutes to be seated. We ordered a Caramel Apple flavored coffee, oatmeal, Joe's healthy scrambler, one order of the cinnamon roll French toast, habanero hash build our own with chicken sausage instead of the chorizo and pepper jack cheese. $54.78 The oatmeal is simple, but comforting and good. Oh wow they cinnamon roll French toast is deadly good. You don't even need any syrup, the icing frosting and powdered sugar makes it sweet enough. It's good. I could eat a whole meal of it. The build my habanero hash doesn't seem to have the heat or kick I was expecting at all with the habanero or the pepper jack cheese to me. It's a bit better with some cholula to give it more heat. Wasn't my favorite. It comes with the white or sour dough English muffin. The wheat English muffin has more flavor.

Perfect for egg lovers

By Pete |

I absolutely love everything about this place. The food, the staff and the en environment. The food is sublime, like homemade at grandmas. Perfect for brunch and breakfast.

Simple Great Food

By classonabudget |

This place is in my neighborhood, so I thought I would give it a try for breakfast. WOW, great breakfast food, but don't be afraid of the other items such as sandwiches and soups. The food has a great flavor, regardless of what is ordered. The staff is very friendly and quick. It is usually very busy, I can only suggest going later in the day towards closing to avoid a wait. But you must go! Free parking in the building (The Brookwood).

Refreshing

By Adventurous Filipina |

If you’re looking for something “light” and delicious brunch, this is your place. I ordered salmon Benedict and my husband ordered the Bavarian Benedict and both of them are refreshingly yummy. The staff and waitresses are super friendly and accommodating too. You’ll miss out if you don’t 😊

Lovely Family Breakfast

By Garey R |

One of our favorite breakfast spots. Had a wonderful breakfast with my wife and son. The restaurant is clean and decor is well fitting. Service is always excellent and on par with the food. Food is always hot, fresh and delicious. If you visit here you will want to return.

"Harbor"ing nothing but love for this cafe!

By Sagiventurer |

This is Atlanta's delicious little secret. It doesn't receive the same attention as some other breakfast chains in Atlanta, but it should. It's just that worthy. The service is fast and friendly. When my name was called to seat me, I advised the host that my companion hadn't arrived. Once she arrived, I notified him that I wanted to place my name on the waitlist again. Fortunately he held the original table. The usual rule is if all parties aren't available when your table is ready, you have to reapply to the waitlist and your table is given to the next party on this list. That was very kind of him. That was superior customer service! The dining area was spacious, unlike most of the breakfast restaurants in Atlanta. They pack you in like canned sardines. So close you could shake hands (or elbow bump) with the neighboring diners. This place is spacious enough you don't notice that there are many other diners with you. The food was so good. The dish tasted as if the ingredients used were farm fresh, or in today's jargon "farm to table" fresh. I had the usual for a first visit: pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon on the side. It was cooked to perfection. My companion agreed and even commented that her orange juice was good and her cheese grits were prepared well. She is particular about her cheese grits. The other menu selections looked delicious. Judging by my tasty dish, I'm sure they are. I highly recommend if you are in the Brookhaven area. It's even worth making a trip if you're not in Brookhaven. Hopefully with the increasing traffic into the area, this little jewel's status will rise like the morning sun it meets daily.

Good breakfast spot that's kid friendly

By Monica C |

Decent food with excellent service and friendly staff. We came with our kids (ages 3 and 1) after landing off an early flight to Atlanta and it was great that the restaurant had little touches like an abudance of coloring paper, crayons, and books. The coffee and juices were wonderful but the food was pretty standard/nothing exceptional. Overall though, a good experience, so we would definitely come back on the next trip to Atlanta!

Great Restaurant... Attention to Detail

By Flyeguy |

Have been to this restaurant about 3 times and they are always professional, friendly, with great food. Menu is varied with options for everyone. Coffee and even Decafe are really good. Servers are some of the friendliest in town. Overall, a very good dining experience.

Really great skillets. Great service. We had a larger group and we were sat quickly and had our food fast.

Love it’

Great food and great gluten free menu! The wait staff is so friendly and helpful. They give great suggestions and service.

By brdavis1 |

Had to wait a bit but it was well worth it. Highly recommend. Sure to find another location in our travels. The skillets were awesome.

Great Food at a Great Price

By K A |

On a July 3rd Friday holiday we didn't expect much of a brunch crowd at 11:00 AM, so we almost left when told there would be a 30 minute wait. But no one in our party of five regretted our decision to wait! Great eggs Benedict, cinnamon French toast, nice GF options. All were pleased and at a reasonable price, with an attentive staff. And had we known about the cute doggie menu, we might have been tempted to bring our pup--don't miss it!

Best breakfast

By Danika H |

This was my first time there and it was good experience. The food and service were great. I will definitely be back. I had an egg scrambler plate with strawberry orange juice. There was a nice complimentary pitcher of water with lemon on the table when we arrived. I really enjoyed myself and can't wait to go there again.

Great for Breakfast!

By sweetsugartree |

Great for breakfast - lots of choices. Servings were big and left us full. Big restaurant with lots of seating. Clean restrooms. Great service. Parking garage was convenient.

Great breakfast great service

By Mannonmom |

This may be a chain but they seem to have the success formula. The service is attentive, the food plentiful and tasty. There is substitutions allowed for dishes and you aren’t criticized. Highly recommended, with multiple healthy options and calorie counts included for many dishes.

Thumbs up

By Darren Q |

I'm a neighborhood and this was my first visit. It was easy to find and parking was a breeze which is always a plus. The food was very good and portions were large. Almost more than I could eat. Since it was our first visit we sampled a number of small dishes too. Every thing was good. The crowds show up around 9am. Get there early.

Awesome Breakfast

By Gbolahan S |

I had heard so many good things about this place and always wanted to try it and i was glad i did. I enjoyed breakfast at this place with family, i would recommend it anyone to try it.

Yummy!

By Kimberly R |

Great food. Had the Bacato sandwich and it was yummy. Good serving of potatoes and fruit, as well! Friendly service and good atmosphere. Would recommend for a good breakfast. Yummy coffee options too!

Breakfast- Weekday

By Ansne M |

Delicious! Highly recommend! Had the quinoa scramble with sausage and my friend has the Eggs Benedict... Both were awesome. Service was fast and friendly and the decor felt like you were sitting in a country kitchen- super cute!

Nice laid-back breakfast spot

By Sky G |

Coming into the Brookwood Place parking deck, parking is free on level 1 and 2. They also offer valet parking. Parking got kind of crunchy because of how the valets were parking the cars and caused two customers to hit another car. Onward to the food.....I took my 19yr old niece, 5yr old niece and 7yr old nephew here for lunch Sunday and they loved the food with the exception of the rainbow pancake my nephew had. It was way to sweet. What makes it a rainbow are the m&ms. I ordered on of the skillet potato plates and the food was good. The Banana Bread French toast was not a favorite but it was decent. My eldest niece ordered the biscuit with sausage gravy and it was so good. Even on a Sunday and packed, we did not have to wait more than 15 mins. The outside was massive in size and there were benches and standing tables. This was a nice touch. The inside decor was soothing and played well to the name. Highly recommended and great breakfast spot. Family and kid friendly.

Absolutely recommended

By Abdulrahman Q |

The service is very spectacular, friendly and accommodating! Food was delicious and has a wide selection to choose from. Five stars

Super fast service

By Kevin W |

For the 3 of us we only had a 15 minute wait for indoor seating. Our server was very nice. Once our server took our order, we had our food in 10 minutes. The only disappointment was that the ambient noise made it difficult to have a conversation. The food was really good and I would visit again.

Why didn't I eat here sooner?

By caseyh06 |

The bad thing about Egg Harbor is that it's nearly impossible to decide what to order because everything looks delicious! I can't believe I didn't eat here sooner--in fact, I just found out about it and it's right down the street from me! I settled on the Aztec omelette which was just the right balance of savory and spicy. The food was well-portioned and I got cheese grits as the side which were creamy and delicious. The price was very reasonable as well, especially given the high quality of the food. I will definitely be back to try more of the dishes that caught my eye. Extra points for free parking and the awesome hot tea contraption!

thank you trip advisor

By lynne w |

Great little place food was amazing coffee hot staff very nice the plates are large and there is lot of food

Quaint Breakfast Spot

By Mimi823 |

Pretty good food and well portioned. We visited for a late morning breakfast and were greeted with excellent service and fresh squeezed orange juice, which is quite a treat! The food choices were fresh and there was a lot of autonomy to get exactly what you wanted. Great crowd and beautiful view of Peachtree Street .

Great place with southern charm

By Go717207 |

Short wait. Super courteous staff. Great food. This is definitely a place where you’ll feel the southern charm.

Went on rec from a person at the car rental place

By Holly V |

We arrived with 10 people and we were seated quickly. The strawberry orange juice was delicious. Everyone's meal were great. Shrimp and grits and the scrambles were favorites.

Good food

By ababy05 |

Went Herr with my friend and her daughter for brunch. The food was good and affordable. They do offer a kids menu. The only draw back is the wait. About a 40 min wait to get in and after we ordered it took a while before we actually got our food. Aside from that everything was great.

Great Way to Brunch the Day away in Midtown

By Kelvis D |

This was our first brunch on our short weekend trip to Atlanta. The place was recommended by a friend. When we arrived it was tricky because the restaurant is inside of what looks like a business complex. You park in the back and go through the doors. There are two restaurants and Egg Harbor is on the right as you come in. There were a couple of people waiting in the lobby but the hostess was very friendly and said it wouldn't take long. Before you know it we were sitting down. The place is very cute. It had a farm chic going for it. Our waiter was very nice and he had us on orange juice and coffee while we looked over the menu. I always get lattes, cappuccinos or espressos but they didn't offer that. So I opted for the coffee, which I don't usually do, but it was from INTELLIGENTSIA, which brought memories of my old hood in LA. So I went for it and it was tasty. For our main dishes, I opted for the San Antonio Skillet. I like it spicy and this delivered. I had them sauté the jalapeños because I love that flavor. It was yummy! It had chorizo, jalapeños, and jack cheese! I loved it! My boyfriend got the Pot Roast Skillet. I know it was good because he was hoarding it like it was the last meal on earth and I had to steal a bite. The bite that I did steal was amazing. The pot roast tasted great on top of the sunny side eggs! Everything tasted amazing here. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Atlanta. I wanted to keep eating and try some desserts but I was too stuffed. Next time!

Best blueberrie pancakes

By Chabu H |

The blueberry pancakes here are excellent light and fluffy served with some blueberry compote as the side that you might not even need syrup!

Really good breakfast

By Denise S |

Really good breakfast, love the grits! Sausages are good too. Would recommend this place. Outdoor dining is a plus.

Food and service perfect

By HankaAtlanta |

My big beef at breakfast is food sitting so it arrives cooled. The waiters and cooks manage to take and cook the meal you order. Somehow the food arrives as soon as it comes off the line. There are three waiters who seem to keep an eye on you and your order. All the food is delicious. Cannot emphasize how perfect this place is.

Great breakfast

By Kay M |

Tough to pick. Breakfast place with all of the options, but this was close to our hotel in Buckhead. We lucked out finding a place to park in the garage (free on weekend), and we got there before the crowd, so we didn’t have to wait. I ordered the seasonal pumpkin pancakes with toasted pecans and cinnamon butter, and my husband had the Swedish pancakes. We shared the grits which were the best part of the meal with chopped corn and melted Jack cheese on top. Everything was so wonderful. The service was exceptional. Loved this place.

Excellent service

By HollyDolly99 |

The service was top-notch at this restaurant. The host and waitress were polite and attentive. The food was good but not amazing because the temperature, the food must have been sitting in the window too long of something. Overall I was happy with our restaurant experience.

Best Breakfast in Years!

By Lori M |

Our family of four went to breakfast to celebrate my husbands birthday. He said it was the best breakfast he's had in years! He had the Aztec omelette, just right on the spicy factor & overall delicious flavors. I had Cassie's Crepes, a wonderfully fresh plate with blackberry preserves, my son had the poppyseed pancakes and claimed they were the best pancakes he's ever eaten, my daughter had the yogurt parfait and loved the combination of add-in's especially the walnuts. I can't wait to go back when we are in Atlanta - I'll be there in 2 weeks to pick up my son from college and we've already made it a date!

Great food and gluten-free options!!

By Amanda L |

The gluten free cinnamon rolls were what got me here and I WAS NOT disappointed. They were so good I even got one to-go. The gluten free pancakes were amazing as well. My husband had the Belgian waffle and he said it was really good. Our waiter Andrew was amazing. If we are ever back in ATL we will be back for sure!!

Great food, great service, & gluten free options

By ana maria N |

Plentiful menu options and a gluten free menu. The GF pancakes were fabulous. Very attentive wait staff.

Delicious

By Janelle E |

The food here was really good. I ordered the bacado omelette with egg whites and my husband ordered joes healthy chicken sausage scramble. We both enjoyed. Didn't blow us out the water but the food tasted great and we're full. Plus, the service was great--very friendly people.

Go to breakfast spot in Atlanta

By Karincent |

The salmon eggs benedict was fantastic but I low key wish I got the shrimp & grits bc it’s Georgia, you should be eating shrimp & grits. That being said I have no complaints bc my breakfast was delicious. The maple bourbon bacon was phenomenal as well!

My favorite new place

By catalinaaguila |

I recently moved to Atlanta and one of my new co worker recommended this place. I was a bit concern since it always looked so busy, you see people waiting all the time. I decided to give it a try and I was happily surprised. Parking was easy and we only waited for a about 10 minutes to be seated in the middle of the breakfast rush, we were quickly assisted by our waitress Ana, she was so so pleasant and accommodating that made our experience over the top. The food was tasty and there is plenty of choices to satisfy even the most picky dinners.

Too many good things to choose!

By Katelyn C |

We tried a little of everything for brunch! The cinnamon roll French toast, yeah it’s as good as it sounds! The skillets are great, the white chocolate coffee and the GF egg salad sandwich! We were very happy with our choices :)

Very enjoyable place for Sunday breakfast. Great service, Good food

By traveller2Atlanta_GA |

The people who work there are very nice. Everyone seems to have a great attitude and they offer excellent customer service. The restaurant is clean, pleasant, nicely appointed. Our family gets together there most Sundays and although they are super busy all the time, they are very kind, they remember us and always make our breakfast a pleasure. The food is of very good quality, well prepared and the service is excellent. The prices are quite good and in line with other restaurants that do not offer as good a service or food. We love this place :)

Delicious Breakfast

By Linda S |

We were staying MidTown and used Uber ($3 each way with no time wait). Excellent breakfast, quick, delicious, and gracious staff. I had the Farmer's Market Benedict, gourmet cinnamon roll and fresh squeezed orange juice. My sister had the Berries and Cream Crepes. Both of us shared and enjoyed all our ordered menu items. We ate on the sidewalk "porch" and shared the area with others that had brought their well-mannered pupps. It was a pleasant experience and I'll go back any time I'm in the area.

Great Breakfast and lunch

By bestisin |

Lots of healthy choices plenty of space for the whole family. Coffees are good! Service is nice too. May have to wait on Saturday or Sunday morning but not long and worth the wait. If not too hot outside is nice. Great parking area.

Fabulous

By tnpatti |

We just had a wonderful breakfast here. The menu offered a great deal of variety. I had the Farmer's Market Benedict in which vegetables replaced the ham. It was unique and delicious. My husband had the Cinnamon Bun French Toast and it must have been good - he ate it all and didn't offer me a bite:-). They also serve lunch.

Excellent Breakfast!!!

By Denise C |

We enjoyed everything about this restaurant! We went on a Sunday at noon and had a 30 min wait. It didn't bother us, because the food was amazing! The service was great. There were several healthy options as well as traditional breakfast items. There was also free covered parking!

Good for this area of Atlanta.

By somewhereingeorgia |

Good staple for breakfast or lunch. I had good (not great) eggs Benedict with potatoes Servers were very accommodating for our group when one extra person arrived late. The space is dated and not the cleanest. Parking is free in the adjacent garage, with entry from the garage or from the street. Prices were reasonable. This part of Atlanta is a food desert with very limited choices. Other than fine dining this is about it.

Great food, great service! Heaven for Gluten Free.

By Rene H |

The food is excellent, the portions are quite large and definitely worth the price. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The gluten free options are amazing and tasty. They were a bit busy when I arrived but the wait was only about 5 minutes. Once we tasted the food, we definitely understood why it was so busy. EXCELLENT! I would definitely recommend eating here to anyone.

Best Breakfast in town!

By cptnljm |

My wife and I came here early on a Sunday morning after Church services. All of the staff was so pleasant and they made sure we were well attended to throughout the meal. I had a unique pancake dish and my wife had an omellete with a combination of items she would not normally get and both were fantastic. There was plenty of food and the refills just kept coming. We wish we had a place like this near us which served such a variety of food for such a reasonable price! A must stop for locals or travelers in the area.

A bit disappointing!

By Joyflnoise |

After reading all the reviews we were really expecting a wonderful meal. Egg Harbor is located in the Brookwood Marketplace Building. Their parking is located in the back parking garage. We arrived for brunch around 12:30 on Memorial Day, and they told us it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. They actually had us a table in 15 minutes, and under the circumstances of it being a holiday, that was good. The menu had lots of entrees to choose from and several healthy options. We were seated and greeted by our server quickly. He took our full order since we had already decided prior to being seated. I choose the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and hubby decided to try the Farmer's Market Benedict. It was spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and artichoke on an English muffin. He had them put the basil hollandaise on the side. His Benedict was served with Harbor potatoes. The French toast came out served on a huge empty plate of three rounds of bread. It looked pretty disappointing. It was warm but not hot. Hubby's Benedict was cold, and his potatoes were warm. The basil hollandaise was excellent. Our server was friendly and very attentive. The coffee and iced tea were great! Overall, our experience was a bit of a letdown. We loved the atmosphere and service, and the food had good flavor. We will give them another try because we liked the location, service, and there were several interesting entrees we would like to check out!

Fantastic Breakfast

By StevenHScher |

We met some friends for breakfast on Labor Day weekend. We sat outside on a beautiful day. The menu is very extensive & reasonably priced. I ordered eggs benedict but requested sausage gravy instead of hollandaise sauce. I call it eggs Benedict Arnold. It was delicious. My wife had a half order of the fried green tomato eggs Benedict. It was delicious & perfect size for her. Everything was perfect including the excellent service we got from our waitress, I think her name was Bernadette. I hope I got her name correct. Great meal.

Another Jem

By Kira v |

Has seasonal specials that are as mouthwatering as the main menu. Have you read the menu? You should, because you'll definitely find yourself adding this place to schedule. Casual place. Great atmosphere.

TOO MUCH SALT!!!

By Mrs. H. |

Hi.. Please include an option online for "no salt" or talk to the cook, I ordered the garden potato scrambler with a side of potatoes and I could not eat either due to the amount of salt that was added. This wasn't just a touch this was completely salty, salty, salty where as I had to throw the whole entree away. I ordered via Cavier and I reached out to them but there was no option to let you all know so I'm reaching out through your contact page. Thank you for your time.

Delicious Breakfast!

By Sonyapt |

I love great tasting food. Egg Harbor Cafe has never failed us. The food was delicious! French toast, sausage links, Shrimp and grits, potatoes, eggs, strawberry orange, everything was great. Thank you! We will definitely be back again and again to enjoy a nice breakfast.

Worth the wait!

By Christine M |

We visited here on a recent busy Saturday while spending the weekend in the area. It was a 30 minute wait at least, but so worth it! Since it was our first time here we studied the menu while we waited so we knew exactly what we wanted when we were seated. The menu is varied and interesting and well beyond your run of the mill breakfast or lunch. And the large gluten free menu made me giddy! I had a gluten-free cinnamon roll that was delicious!! We enjoyed everything we had and hope to make another trip here before we head home. There are other locations in the area that I'm sure are just as busy because clearly the locals know how wonderful Egg Harbor Cafe is.

Breakfast with old acquaintances and co-workers

By Robert S |

This is a very good neighborhood eatery in the Buckhead area near downtown Atlanta. I had breakfast with friends. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. The breakfast and lunch menu was creative with a variety of choices. I will return.

My new favorite spot for breakfast/brunch in Atlanta

By Alaa A |

We visited the Egg Harbor Care in Buckhead twice, on a Saturday and a Sunday. On both occasions, we had excellent service and the food was great. There's a slightly long wait on Sunday, but that would be expected. We got the lobster scrambler, french toast, salmon benedict, and cheesy grits. Everything tasted awesome and fresh. The service was also amazing and friendly. Definitely will be planning to come back whenever I'm around Buckhead. The only thing I didn't like was the strawberry orange juice. It wasn't bad, but it tasted 100% orange juice, even after getting another cup from a different batch. Doesn't really affect my rating because otherwise everything was great.

Great breakfast

By Suz |

Large restaurant, didn’t need a reservation mid week. Huge breakfast menu with something for everyone. Attentive staff and great food, pancakes delicious.

Amazing Shakshuka!

By Evie |

The Shakshuka on the breakfast menu is delightfully spicy! We even came back a second time to enjoy it again before leaving Atlanta. The coffee is unusually tasty for a breakfast restaurant, and the friendly staff will give free to-go cups so you can take the tastiness with you.

It's a First!!!

By natosha2017 |

While visiting Atlanta my daughter and her BFF decided to take me to this restaurant I had never eaten from, and said the food was pretty good , surprisingly the wait was only 20 minutes after church service and the customer service was decent, the chicken sausage were great, the cheese grits were very tasty, the pancakes you couldn't cut them they were so tender they fell apart but was very good , the sweet tea was great , we just was not sold on the eggs, the waffle was Belgium very Hefty, and the French toast was great! Don't mind going back again.

Eat Here!

By Steven W |

This place is amazing. We had the Lobster Scramble and the San Antonio Skillet. The food and service was outstanding! We'll be back

Breakfast Brunch or a Bunch of Times

By levis501bfj |

When you have a Bunch of Beautiful people eating Breakfast, and licking their lips afterwards... you know you found one of Atlanta's Bright spots (a long line on a Sunday ???) for Both family and friends. And the food is the "Bomb" too! Take your special someone and enjoy the French Toast!

Worth a try

By Shakeria0416 |

It was pretty good. I had the nachos, boyfriend had banana bread French toast, someone had quinoa skillet, and another person had the meaty skillet. No one complained about their food, but the service could've been better. Our waitress only checked on us once and never inquired about satisfaction, but it could've been because all of the commotion inside the restaurant. There were technical issues with the credit/debit machine. The general manager attempted to write down my credit card information without my consent. Before trying to write down such information, that should've been disclosed to me. Actually, I think that should've been disclosed to customers prior to sitting them. Overall, the food was great but there's a possibility that customer service could use improvement. I think you should give the place a try tho!

Really disapointed.

By DPRAU |

I don't u understand how this place could get good reviews. The food is not good or it might be if it was hot. Had the farmers benedict. The poached egg was over cooked and was served over like warm spinach, mushroom and artichokes. The chess grits are probably instant. They just put some cheese on them and bakes it. The harbor potatoes were the biggest disappointment as they came out cold. We should have known something wasn't right when our food came out in less that 5minutes after we ordered. We asked for the potatoes to be cooked a limited more and poof. More potatoes came out in less than a minute. They just don't take the time to prepare food correctly. Save your money and go elsewhere. Really disappointed.

Great Breakfast Spot

By Keega16 |

Great breakfast and even better service! Our timing was perfect as we hit pre-rush on Saturday am (9am). Our server was amazing. She helped us work our way through the menu with suggestions and combos that allowed everyone to get exactly what they wanted. I had shrimp and grits called Really Gouda Grits (yes that is a theme with me) and they very gouda! Others enjoyed eggs benedict, an Everyday Boost Parfait and french toast. We enjoyed everything. The only thing we didn't love was the coffee. It was fine but not great (but the coffee mugs are cute) We also appreciated that there was a parking deck right in the building which made parking stress free.

On my own!

By Dockerydock |

We left Chattanooga early this morning headed to Atlanta with my wife and daughter whom were displaying those “shopping” eyes. Without breakfast, they headed straight to Lennox Square to shop! I immediately transitioned from passenger, Dad/Husband, to chauffeur/valet. I got over it fast as I usually do and started looking for a good place for Sunday brunch. The Egg Harbor Cafe on Peachtree NW was selected and the place was packed with patrons patiently waiting for tables. I joined right in knowing my family will be shopping for a while and could squeeze in a quick bite. After a while waiting and engaging in conversation with staff, I decided to order my meal to go instead of sitting. I ordered the shrimp and grits topped with two over easy eggs with small blueberry pancakes on the side. I made it back to the mall to collect my happy shopper riders and headed for the hotel. When we got in the room, they immediately swarmed in on the meal and they throughly enjoyed it. 😬Great Job Egg Harbor Cafe!!

EXCELLENT BREAKFAST

By Ivbp68 |

W had a delicious, balanced and healthy breakfast. The service was great. They work as a team. Every server took care of us. The food, excellent. We picked different options, all great. They have vegan, gluten free options. Love it!!! I highly suggest to order their signature drink, Strawberry Orange juice. You will love it. Next time we visit Buckhead, we will stop by.

worst experience in Atlanta

By dollydarling |

Visited this place for lunch meeting while in Atlanta for business. Were we invisible? I see staff chatting & laughing. Not many customers in the restaurant. So dissapointed, wasted time.

Always love this place

By The_Crafty_Beer_Mermaid |

We eat breakfast here often when visiting Hotlanta. They have the beat omelettes, grits, blueberry pancakes and cinnamon rolls. Service here is always awesome and friendly and quick

Terrible service!!!!!!

By sadejo92 |

My family and I came for a nice brunch. We waited 45 plus minutes which the time wasn’t that big of an issue. The service is terrible here. Our server chantel was very slow. We had a party of 4. We all ordered soup but only 3 soups came out and the 4th soup came out 15 minutes later. The fact the the entire table finished their soup before I got mines was ridiculous. I’m not sure if it was on her or the kitchen but a little communication goes a long way. It took a while to receive our entrees and when they came out again my food came out late and in pieces. Our server definitely avoided our table and it was unfortunate bc 3 out of 4 entrees were not satisfactory. We will never return.

Really good breakfast!

By CD |

The food here was quite tasty, I had one of there egg omelets with grits, delish and again everyone was friendly. They have coffee or tea for you to take a long with you to go as well.

Great place for breakfast

By John F |

Our group of 6 waited 30 minutes for a table on Sunday morning. They provided free coffee while you wait, a definite perk! Great breakfast menu, blueberry pancakes were my choice and they were excellent. Staff was friendly, I would definitely stop again

Best Omelette Ever!

By The_Crafty_Beer_Mermaid |

We went here based on reviews and very not disappointed. The only thong that wasn't my favorite was the berry french toast but I am sure other people love it, it just wasn't French toasty enough for me. But the star was bacon avocado omelette.. oh my goodness.. best ever. Grits were creamy.. and the cheese moon fries were perfect. Waffle was made to crispy perfection. We will come back here again when visiting Hotlanta and it was so worth the wait ( and you should expect one). Parking garage is perfect because there is ample parking too, which can be hard to come by down in this area.

A yummy lunch

By michael p |

Coming here reminds you how much fun egg based dishes are for lunch. Why keep all those omlette choices just for breakfast? The helpful wait staf will quickly help you decide what will fill your taste bud needs.

A terrific place for Breakfast.. Any day!

By JuceRock L |

I sometimes make excuses to be able to have a nice slow breakfast meal at this place. Love their skillet meals.

Would recommend!

By Katie P |

I had blueberry pancakes, and my mother had lemon poppyseed pancakes. Both were great! We both added on a side of meat, which was also good. I had strawberry orange juice as well; plain orange juice would’ve been just as good.

Good brunch

By John C |

My wife and I just happened to be on Peachtree today, so we decided to have brunch here. We both had a "create your own" skillet. I would have to say the food was 3 bubbles out of the 5 possible. It was better than that international place that serves pancakes, but not as good as the place who claims their biscuits can defy gravity as a form of locomotion. (Just protecting the copyrights of the restaurants). Specifically, I wanted to compare the cheese grits. Man! I shouldn't have done that. Nonetheless, there were no lines and the service was quick and attentive. Those two elements elevate the overall experience to 4 bubbles. Another thing that elevates this experience is the extensive was of the menu. You can get just about anything you want.

Awesome breakfast

By Manipulators44 |

All y’all have to visit Egg Cafe. The biscuits and gravy are the best I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime!

Hugh Breakfast Menu

By Pete N |

Hugh Breakfast Menu, hard to decide what to choose. The food was very good and the service was excellent even though the place was packed.

Wow best lemon poppy seed pancakes ever!

By Beth M |

My daughters and I did a girls' trip to Atlanta and decided to try Egg Harbor for an early Sunday brunch - best decision! Absolutely everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. We tried the lemon poppy seed pancakes which are unforgettable, the quinoa, fruit and yogurt which was (yes, really!) amazing, and the fried green tomato eggs Benedict also delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Thanks for a great end to our fun atlanta weekend!

Great brunch spot!

By Kasey B |

Delish! Stopped in for a solo breakfast around 1030am on a Friday. Right off Peachtree and free covered parking? Already a win. Got the loose leaf green tea, healthy egg scramble (chicken sausage, spinach, mushrooms, caramelized onions & mozzarella) and a cinnamon roll to balance it out :) Wasn't crowded, the staff were incredibly friendly and speedy and the price point is great ($20 for my meal). I'd definitely recommend it!

Food is Really Good

My daughter introduced us to this restaurant and apparently she goes often. We ordered an omelette, toast with eggs and avocado, grits and potatoes. The food was really good and waitress was friendly. It is a bit pricey for breakfast but servings are generous. We would return.

Fantastic Place!

I had brunch here on 6/14/15. The wait time, not withstanding, the place was fabulous! We waited about 30 minutes, which I guess is not unusual for brunch in Atlanta. Great service and great food

This was convenient to Piedmont Hospital. It was very busy Saturday morning however the wait was only 15 minutes. If you like omelets, skillets and biscuits this is a great place. I was doing a low carb diet. They were very obliging to substitute the potatoes with additional protein. The server was very personable and attentive. I can't wait to take my wife there soon.

Excellent food, coffee and service.

Best breakfast we have had in a long time. The creative menu made it difficult to decide on what to have - we all ordered different things and everything was delicious! We found our new favorite breakfast spot in Atlanta!

Happenin' Place for Brunch in Midtown!

By Cheryl G |

There's a long wait but it is worth it. Large new breakfast place in Midtown Atlanta. Wide ranging menu - everybody can find something to eat. Endless coffee, good grits, creative omelettes and skillets. Casual and bustling but the service is good and they don't rush you out if you want to stay and drink more coffee!

Awesome!

We sat outside (recommended if the weather cooperates). Our servers were attentive and very responsive. Our daughter had gluten free pancakes which were very good. I had an egg white omelette with tomato, jalapeño, spinach etc. It was excellent! Not dry at all. The coffee was also excellent. The eggs Benedict were ordinary. They did not hurry us at all as we enjoyed our breakfast and chatted. Parking is free on weekends!

Absolutely scrumptious!!!!

The service is very friendly and accommodating! Food was absolutely delicious and has a wide selection to choose from. Great place for kids too! We wish there was a location by us in South Florida!!!

Always enjoy a wonderful breakfast with warm and friendly service when visiting Atlanta. The one on Peachtree is a great locale near midtown. I love their grits with everything possible blended to perfection. Others had the shredded pork skillet with eggs. Great way to start the day. Weekends you can expect long lines and wait time. Go during the week if possible to avoid that.

Great breakfast spot!

Trash in hot chocolate

By Anita B |

I was so looking forward to eating here after hearing such good things about the food and service. After the peach orange juice, which was delicious, I ordered a hot chocolate. It looked fabulous, topped with real whipped cream. About halfway through, I noticed something in my cup. It was a used sugar packet. Yuk!! Though grossed out, my BFF and I decided to stay, but I'll never return. This is why... the waitstaff offered to bring another beverage and take this one off the bill (duh!). One of the staff said "these things sometimes happen..." Really?? And you actually say this to customers? Then another waitress launched into how it likely happened. Eww...again, you want to say this to a customer? Do you wash your dishes before reusing? Worst of all, management made to effort at concessions. There was no offer to comp my meal or to provide discount for a future visit. This probably was very rare for this to happen, but if this is how management handles problems and trains staff in customer service, I'm done. #nomas to #eggharborcafe Buckhead Atlanta.

Made every day better

Excellent food, attentive and friendly staff. We visited for breakfast everyday during a week long trip in Atlanta. The atmosphere was warm and the service was a rare delight. We read other reviews and picked a place to stay at a walking distance, so we could visit everyday. Cannot wait to visit again when we go back to Atlanta in a couple of months. Breakfasts at Egg Harbour were a great start each day. To the team: Thank you for making each morning a good morning for us there.

Great food

This is an incredible place with incredible food. Went here with a group of people and I will say the food took an incredibly long time but the food was good.

Great breakfast

This typically isn't my favorite meal of the day but if I keep going to Egg Harbor Cafe it may soon become it. First, I like to drink plenty of water and a place that puts a pitcher of water on every table gets 5 stars from me. Then they back it up with a terrific menu and provide great service. We tried a banana bread french toast, oatmeal and an egg-white scramble which came with 2 blueberry pancakes. This was my favorite breakfast during our trip and I can on going back (weekdays only) when I'm back in town. It's packed on weekends (especially after 9 am).

Delish! What can I say?

First visit...busy Sunday....short but comfortable wait in nice seating area outside of restaurant. Veggie omelette comes with potatoes and English muffin...my friend added sausage to her omelet. My son had the San Antonio Skillet...and husband had a Traditional breakfast with a side of shrimp grits...hearty filling food!

Large group - well feed

Chickens are king at egg harbor as far as the decor. Quickly seats for a party of 10 on a busy day. Prompt service with ample portions. Coffee is good and all reasonably priced.

Egg Harbor Cafe for sure

By Heath B |

We were Atlanta for a weekend visit and opted for Egg Harbor for breakfast. Knowing it was Sunday morning, we knew we were going to have a wait, however, the wait was only 10 minutes. The place is large for a breakfast cafe, the staff is efficient and very welcoming. My wife and I must have had 5-6 different people waiting on us, asking if we needed anything. The food was excellent and plenty. I am a big boy and left some at the table when done. The menu was extensive. It’s too bad I don’t live around there, because I would go back weekly just to try the rest of the menu.
