This place is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. My boyfriend even claims it’s the best meal he has ever had. It was THAT good that we came back the next day for dinner. Hannah served us on the first night and recommended the enchilada trio which I shared with my partner… A-M-A-ZING! The levels of flavour were unreal! We came back the next day for more… Stevie served us, and recommended the signature dish “Carne Asada” with a side of Mexican corn. We loved it. Again. 10/10 service, 10/10 flavour. Can’t fault the place. And the icing on the cake is that this restaurant is literally next door to the worlds largest gentleman club AND the restaurant is open 24 hours a day. If that doesn’t sell it to you then I don’t know what will. We love this place! Thank you!

I changed my review from 1 stars to 3 stars after Dolores the manager brought us back in for another try, despite there being additional ‘miscommunication’. Extremely overpriced. For $25 plate you might as well go enjoy a ‘finer’ dining experience on the strip. The service, food and atmosphere do not match the prices, I don’t care if it’s Las Vegas. Despite the place being empty (see photo) we were seated by the door and service was extremely slow... not sure why? But can’t say the staff wasn’t trying. Sope’s were hard, if you want good Sope’s try the place inside Fantastik off Valley View. Fish taco and rice was bland and for $16.50 for two street tacos it’s a little outrageous. Highlights were the NACHOS and the FLAN. Happy hour special $10 shot w/beer. Plenty of parking. It’s literally next door to Sapphires Strip Club which must be the majority of the reviews, clientele and handful of B celebrities who’ve stumbled in. Table of 3 people: Order of Sopes, Nachos, Fish Tacos, Flan and corn = $75 +tip .... take that same $75 to the taco truck and do the math.

We have heard amazing things about El Dorado Cantina since our move to Las Vegas last year and finally got our chance to try it this past weekend. It was so good! Our group of 6 arrived a little after 6pm on a Saturday and was seated within 20 minutes. Between the tableside guacamole service, delicious margaritas, mouth watering carne asada and amazing cedar plank salmon--none of us were disappointed. A couple of us required gluten free options and the well marked menu was full of them. The attentive service was on point as well.

Booked for a 40 th wedding anniversary celebration . We wanted good mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The service was considerate and courteous . The food was wonderful, booked the feast package for 13 of us, and it really was a feast. The mango margaritas were a great hit, and the wines were very drinkable. Our server made fresh guacamole to order at our table and looked after us extremely well . Thank you for helping to make our first visit to LV so memorable.

I have been there twice. Both times the food and service has been excellent. Everything is fresh and organic and healthy. the FAJITAS are to die for..and the Gold Margaritas are some of the best I've ever drank. Dont let the location fool ya. off the strip and next to a strip club..its all CLASSY

After finding this place on trip advisor and seeing all the great reviews we decided to check it out. For our first time visit, Emily was a great hostess. She took the time to explain how they source the food and that they are non GMO and asked about any allergies. They offered table side guacamole and a nice selection of margaritas. Our entree's were plenty and flavorful. Prices were reasonable. We will return.

Although prices were a little higher than I had anticipated the food was solid. If you are a local with a NV ID, they even have specials on certain days. Don't be discouraged as this place is within the same building as Sapphires Club (my favorite) yet separate completely. Executive Chef came out and greeted us thanked us for coming and actually provided us with dessert (in all fairness one of the gentleman were with was a professional pastry chef and I think they overheard us speaking about why he was in town. Nevertheless, a true class act & gentleman for coming out and shaking every one of our hands. Any of the tacos were delicious but the guacamole was exceptional! A must have. I would go back just for the professionalism. Nevertheless the food was very good and I'll be visiting that place again. Oh yeah on Taco Tuesday, they have $5 1942 shots. WHAAAAAAT!!! Thanks El Dorado Cantina Team. See you soon.

I've been to El Dorado Cantina 5 times and each time it's been a great experience w/ excellent food and service. Even on the busy nights, we seem to always get taken care of right away! We've come here for locals night (Monday's where you get 25% off the entire bill - BAR SEATING ONLY) and on a weekday during lunch. Personally, the discount is great, but I prefer to come here for lunch on a Wednesday when it's not so packed and I can enjoy my meal. You'd imagine since it's by a strip club that the place would be raunchy, but it's nothing like that! It's clean, professional and just like a normal restaurant. El Dorado Cantina is located just off the strip on Sammy Davis Jr. Drive. It's right next door to Saphire. There's ample parking, but you may have to walk far if the strip club is busy. When you first walk in there's a nice hostess who'll take you to your seat. They also accept reservations if you call ahead. Besides coming on Locals night, we typically sit at a comfy round booth that can seat up to 6 people. FOOD - We had the following: 1. Tableside Guacamole w/ Chips: This is my favorite. It's so simple yet complicated at the same time. The server makes the guacamole right in front of you. However, you can give the server feedback on what you want in your guac. You get to taste test it and they'll adjust it! Take however long you want. Definitely have fun w/ this and try different mixtures. For your first try, I'd go w/ what the server recommends. Then you can tweak it the next time you go. For me, I always want extra lime! 2. Imperial Shrimp: Wild Pacific shrimp wrapped in bacon & lightly fried, stuffed with seafood. Served with chipotle ranch dressing. The shrimp was cooked perfectly (I hate overcooked shrimp) and the bacon wrapped around the shrimp was crispy. What really completes the dish is the chipotle ranch dressing. It's soooo good! I wish I could take this home w/ me and put it in all my sandwiches. 3. Cactus tacos: Not my favorite. I wouldn't get this again. We wanted to try something new that we'd never had. I don't like the texture of the cactus. The flavor was good, but it was lacking a crunch. If I could get this taco on a hardshell tortilla then I believe I'd enjoy it more. 4. Chile Verde Pork w/ Chicharron: This is one of my favorites. It comes w/ two pork tacos. The pork is so tender and I love the added crunch from the chicharron in this taco. This is big enough for two to share when you get an appetizer or you can enjoy it by itself as a full meal when you add the cilantro rice and beans on the side. 5. Chapulines: I never knew how crunchy grasshoppers are!! Like I said earlier, I love lime so we always get the garlic lime grasshoppers. It's a great dish to munch on while you wait for the rest of your food to arrive and it won't fill you up too much either! 6. Paco's Grandma's Flan: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It's a great way to end the meal! It's a fairly large piece of flan too. It's denser than most and the syrup on the flan isn't too sweet. It's just right! It's also gluten free and vegetarian. SERVICE Excellent service from beginning to end. :-) PRICE Some of the items are a bit overpriced, but I can understand why since they're a non-GMO restaurant. They also have a huge selection of vegetarian and gluten-free items. For the Chile Verde Pork Taco plate, they charge $14 for two tacos, which is pretty steep! Then you have to pay an extra $2.50 for the rice and beans. The place is good, but I sometimes don't feel everything on the menu is worth that much. I don't recommend you come here if you're on a budget. Overall, I give this restaurant 4 stars. The food is good very tasty w/ many unique dishes that you can't get in Las Vegas, but it's overpriced. This restaurant is great for vegetarians and those who desire great tasting gluten-free dishes as well. The service is excellent. The location is off the strip so it's not busy or in a high traffic area. There's also free parking too!

The atmosphere was not that great. It was dark, not very many people. This is not on the strip, and the margaritas were all at least sixteen dollars. I had a carne asada burrito, and it was very salty. You have to pay to get chips and salsa. I really would not recommend this place

This is our second visit to this amazing restaurant. We were here a couple years ago as well. Grace was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the entire menu. We were here on sangria Wednesday. Very yummy and fresh. I ordered the shrimp appetizer as my entree. My Mom ordered the burrito. Both dishes were perfect. We even had the pleasure of their chef Paco, coming out and delivering our dessert. What a treat!

We got there right on time for our reservations but front desk couldn't find us because we'd reserved with Open Table. But apparently they keep two reservation systems. So after we found our reservation for them the hostess proceeded to seat us in a table in the waiting area. When my wife questioned this instead of being apologetic the Hostess got rude and asked if we'd reserved a certain table. Of course we didn't reserve a certain table. Who'd thought if we didn't we be sat in a table in the waiting area. Plus as we sat there we saw multiple groups get taken into the main restaurant to their tables. Chips and guacamole was good but the rest of the food was way too salty. And honestly I'd had better tacos and cadillac margarita early in the day at the Oakland Airport. The waiter however was really good. Too bad we'd already been soured by the rude Hostess.

Our large party enjoyed festive dinner. It was great selection with inventive cactus tacos, fabulous pork carnitas, buerritos, and much, much more. Service was great. Decor is great despite modest exterior.

We were staying on the Las Vegas strip, we asked a local that was a bartender at the casino what restaurant he would recommend and he said El Dorado Cantina. Staff was very friendly. Menu was all fresh ingredients. Large portions. Huge amount of gluten free selection, everything on the menu was marked with gluten free, vegetarian, vegan symbol. Staff has good knowledge of gluten free. Food was fresh and delicious. Veronica our server was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. We will return when we are back in Vegas again.

A friend recommended this restaurant, and it turns out she was right! We sat in a half-circle booth and ordered table-side guacamole. The complimentary basket of chips and salsa was very good, and there were many of them. Two of us ordered fajita and one ordered enchiladas. We all loved our food. The fajitas came out smoking hot. The twist on the rice was a pleasant surprise not the traditional Mexican rice. Looking forward to our next trip.

Wow! Just Wow! Amazing food, delicious margaritas made this visit so worth it! Our server, Shawn, expertly guided us through the menu and his suggestions were spot on. Will definitley make this a must for every trip to Las Vegas.

First of all...Yes, it is adjacent to a Gentleman's Club, but upon looking closer, it is a separate business with a separate entrance...WHEW! The staff was delightful from our waitress to the restaurant manager, to even the chef who stopped by our table to hand deliver the dessert. I had Mahi mahi, my husband had the carnitas. The presentation of the fish was lovely and it was quite tasty. The carnitas platter was VERY generous, was quite moist and scrumptious! Both meals had the delicious cilantro rice. Our dessert was a full orange peel filled with orange ice cream and topped with whipped cream, an orchid, and fresh strawberry. A yummy meal

In Vegas for market... everyone is always looking for great food without long lines and Vegas prices... a customer mentioned El Dorado and told us not to be put off by the fact that they cozy up to a huge strip club. Not to be deterred, our group of 6 celebrated our final night of market with pitchers of great “Cadallic” margaritas and table side guacamole made to order! Great service too from very pleasant wait staff. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful. I had the Mahi Mango tacos. The fish was grilled perfectly and every bite was delicious! Friend had the carne asada and it was more than he could finish. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Ended with awesome tequila shots! This will Be added to my “go to” list for all future visits to Vegas. The place is a bit noisy with large TVs going on different channels... that’s the only draw back I could find!

Outstanding!!! The food here is soooo good that we went here two nights in a row on our last trip to Vegas. I am from AZ, where we have some amazing Mexican food, but this place is my favorite Mexican food ever! The freshly made guacamole at the table is outstanding! I miss it and am looking forward to going back here every time we go to Vegas!

11/8 From the moment we walked in, hospitality has been exceptional. The chips and salsa are made in house & delicious. Our server Ariel was very knowledgeable & descriptive of entree details! AUTHENTIC & delicious flavors even for vegetarians & vegans. Highly recommend the Spinach Enchiladas, with the cucumber jalapeño margarita...fuego!! The guy about 2 comments below me crying that his friend coming late and not being able to get seated...well that’s Covid for you buddy!! I’m more upset your friend didn’t get to enjoy these flavors.

We come to El Dorado Cantina every time we are in Vegas. We have loved everything we have tried on the menu. The table side guacamole is a must get every time. We almost always go with the street tacos also. They also have a great happy hour. You might think you are walking into the strip club when you show up but it’s just to the left.

5 star - location, environment 4 star - food serving 3 star - food I ordered combo fajitas, vegetables from the bottom were so salty that I couldn't eat them. The tortillas were so hot (warmed in microwave), they stick together and was almost impossible to separate them without ripping them off. Very pricey, you pay for interior design not for the food which is mediocre. Never return back.

Bit off the beaten path but great location if you’re going to Battlefield Vegas. Went for lunch before our range session and honestly wasn’t expecting much, just happy to find a good option close by. This place is as great as everyone says. Free chips with two salsas, both fantastic. My partner had the recommended carne assada burrito and it was awesome - no one will complain portions are small. I had the taco with octopus and chorizo and while good, I found it bland. That said, I added the green salsa from the chips and bam, they were good. Very good prices and service, would recommend.

very attractive eatery, nice courtyard dining. The margherita was one of the worst I've had (out of hundreds) and ridiculous for a small one at $14. Lime juice mixer with some tequila Probably no triple sec or similar orange flavored liquor. I make an outstanding one. . The chips and food were good..shrimp enchiladas were very good as was the too small 1 chile reano. They fill up your plate with rice & refried beans. Very good service.and a cool trendy place. I'm not rushing back since there are many better excellent restaurants in Tivoli.

Service was good & the chips (even a refill) were complimentary, but the flavor was totally lacking. I just wanted a plain bean & cheese burrito. Most burritos come with a sauce on top, even in the video playing in the restaurant they showed burritos with sauce. I was told to use the salsa from the complimentary chips or he’d have to charge me. My sister got a vegetarian burrito that arrived with more vegetables than what the menu listed. Which included large chunks of carrots-and she wasn’t happy. Hers arrived dry too (no sauce). My beans had no flavor at all. Although it’s a non smoking restaurant, being next to a gentleman’s club, it smelled like smoke.

El Dorado Cantina is a great place to host meetings, while enjoying great authentic Mexican food! The staff are very skilled at ensuring your best dining experience. Today I opted for pozole soup! Delicious and cooked to perfection!

Everything was great. Couldn’t have asked for better food or service. If you don’t like spicy things make sure you pay attention to the menu and talk to your waiter they have plenty of things but they also offer spicy things. 10/10 would come again!!

Food was delicious and service by Jessica was prompt and friendly! The flan was very creamy. My son loved the red satin flowered wallpaper!

4 conventioneers in search of tapas. The appetizer platter for 4 was not inspiring. The puzzle was average. The place is overrated.

We drove by here for lunch. The location is in a strip mall across from the El Dorado casino. Clientele seem to be local. We ordered the Queso Fundido which tasted fine but was burnt. I had the chicken Taquitos which were excellent. My husband had the pulled chicken burrito but wasn't a fan. We were split over whether we would come back when in the area. Service was very good.

Love El Dorado ! It's our must go every time we are in Vegas ! Absolutely fabulous fresh food you can taste ! Great margaritas ( we love the cucumber) - it's kid friendly with a relaxing atmosphere. Oh and did I mention it's 24 hours !! Just amazing ! The Mexican corn is possibly the most delicious corn you will ever taste ! It's off strip but all the best stuff is ! Enjoy !

Was taken here by a friend. The location is next to a strip club, it is on a street dominated by strip clubs and sex shops. The food was average, the prices were high, the location sucked. I do not understand the great reviews!

I forgot how much I loved this place. I visited again recently with friends and we all had AMAZING drinks and entrees! This chef is a STAR. He takes traditional Mexican dishes and adds an awesome twist or enhancement to them, to just take the flavors off the chart! Their white rice, which should be an inconsequential side note is one of their most amazing offerings. Their black beans are KILLER. And then there’s the entrees - you literally cannot go wrong with anything you order! And I didn’t even mention the cactus or mini churros! Omg, YUM. And the ambiance is beautiful and perfect for the theme of the restaurant. All the stars to El Dorado Cantina and their amazing chef!! 🙌🏼

We sat at the bar, and Stevie was our bartender/server he recommended the enchiladas and tacos that were amazing! Table side guacamole was terrific! We will definitely be back! Food drinks and SERVICE was WONDERFUL! Thanks for making our night outstanding!!!!

We had a delicious table side guacamole made by Jeff and it was an absolute highlight! This was coupled with cold beers that we were able to try to assist our selection - nice touch. Situated off the main restaurant hub but well worth a meal. Thankyou fro your attentive service and great food

Great Mexican restaurant! Awesome food, great service. Don't let the location keep you away. A must visit!

From the staff, Doris, chef Paco and Jessica, our server, to the extraordinarily delicious gourmet Mexican food and spicy margaritas,(our favorite) we could not have had a better experience! We are locals, and we come here from Henderson, Seven Hills area. We had table side guacamole, don’t skip this. Also Carne Asada, a huge platter of juicy steak with delicious grilled cactus and chorizo! Carnitas enchiladas with green sauce, chili relleno, all served with the most amazing cilantro rice! If only they would open an El Dorado in Henderson. But not to worry, Uber is there for your dining and drinking needs!

Don’t let the location and area fool you and don’t judge a book by the cover! This restaurant is unbeatable!! All organic, huge selection of gluten free options, super service! Absolute must!

The interior of this establishment reminds men more of a night club with how dark it is. My daughter joked that she like to be able to see what she was eating. We ordered two Carnita Raja burritos, 2 Pacifico’s, 2 pops and two Mexican corn. Total bill was $70. We don’t eat out much but one thing we truly enjoy is Mexican food. For 4 people this was not worth $70. Especially when they asked if we wanted the “husk” removed from the corn and then charged $2 extra. People the husk is the skin, the COB is what holds the corn. We all felt like we had a stomach ache when we left. Service was slightly slow, but not that big of a deal.

Excellent flavor stemming from the marinated pork and fresh guacamole in the burrito. One of the best I have had ever!

Off the strip, but is about a $15 taxi ride from mid-strip. Hostess will call for a cab after dinner, if needed. Good size portions with vegetarian options. Menu posted online.

Everyone will warn you of the location - right next door to the world's largest gentlemen's club - and a shared parking lot. But do not concern yourself as the restaurant is a friendly, friendly and very professional eating establishment. All the food is sustainably sourced and organic and very fresh from local farms and producers. The guacamole is amazing as are the street tacos and margaritas, Worth a reservation and a quick ride as at end of strip. Recommend for large groups or small. The staff generates confidence and commitment to this place.

Our server Grace was so amazing, very professional and down to earth, prompt, friendly service. The food was all delicious. I loved the guacamole, it had the perfect amount of lemon in it and not to mention the fajitas!!!! I’ll be back!!

Been here so many times with my girlfriend as this was the first place we ever went together! The table side guac is so good, the chips are fresh and warm! I always order the fajitas and the street tacos, never disappoint and can not recommend any higher. Possibly one of the best Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas Will be back very soon

This place is my all time favorite local spot for late night food. The amazing service from Liz and Ivan the bartenders is above and beyond. Truly professional and friendly!

I pulled into the parking lot of a strip club which had rented space to the restaurant. So don’t get shocked by the colorful advertising of the headlining girls performing. Lol. I didn’t mind. Great to eat GMO free food. Can’t get that everywhere. However, the food seemed to lack the robust flavor I expect from Americanized Mexican food. Still good and with tip, two appetizers, 3 beers, soup and burrito the bill came to 74$ then add a 15$ tip. The burrito lacked the meat flavor and was loaded with rice along with rice on the side. Not my favorite. The soup was not even finished by my girlfriend. Her empanadas, at 9$, were 3 little ones were barely filled with cheese but lacked flavor. I shared my queso fundido which was excellent. Not quite enough for 13$ though. Good place for non gmo food but I won’t go again.

This restaurant was recommended by a guest at the hotel we were staying at. What a find! The inside is a little dark, but not bad, you could still see. Lots of booths & a large bar area. The food was absolutely out of this world! My husband had the Pork Carnitas with all rice, flour tortillas, & sides of pico de gallo, guacamole. The carnitas were not dry, not greasy, with a nice texture & great flavor. I had the Cheese Enchiladas with all rice. The sauce was a little spicy but not bad. It was also served with sour cream which toned that down. The chips & salsa were yummy along with our Margaritas.

I went to lunch here with some friends on (11/8) and we had a group of 6, we had another friend come a little later to join us making the total 7, we were told that the capacity per table due to covid is 6. Which I completely understand, our other friend was asked to leave after driving essentially 40 min just to meet up with us. Shortly after another party got seated that had a total of 7 people , so I asked the manager why that was allowed and he said “kids do not count as a person according to the governor” he was nice enough to comp us a round of drinks (which we all know probably costs $10 total to the restaurant) for the inconvenience. I have later found out that kids DO count towards the total of 6 (screenshot attracted below), and the fact that he lied straight to my face is unacceptable!! This is horrible management on top of going against the governors orders! You need to treat all customers the same and not give preferential treatment!

Service is amazing! Food was amazing! Margarita was amazing! Prices are really affordable! Everything about this restaurant is just AMAZING!

As someone who isn’t usually a great fan of Mexican food, I was really impressed here. The food was fresh and tasty, not mushy and murky flavours like I’ve had before. The margarita was the best I’ve ever had. The service was very knowledgeable and helpful and the room was cosy and spacious. I’d certainly recommend a visit.

Let me start off by saying, I never leave reviews but this place is worth writing home about. My husband and I went to El Dorado Cantina last night and it was amazing. After eating mostly seafood for dinner during our trip to Vegas, we decided we wanted to try something different. I love Mexican food and am something of a foodie so we did research, trying to find a good place. We took a cab ride to get here since it’s off the strip. It is right next to a gentleman’s club so that threw us off a little bit but didn’t change the fact that we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we stepped in the door, the service was impeccable. We got there around 7 and there was no wait, although we were able to make a reservation through open table around 5:45. The restaurant is dimly lit and has big round booths. There’s a bar and a few TVs, which were showing Sunday Night Football. We were seated at our booth and immediately served water, chips and salsa. Our waiter, Tyler was phenomenal. He was kind, attentive and genuine. We started off with margaritas (hubby got a mango and I had the prickly pear), table side guacamole, and queso fundido. It was all wonderful. I’m used to Tex-mex so I prefer the “runny” style queso... this was served on a skillet so it’s not something you can really dip/scoop with a chip, you have to use a spoon/fork to cut it and place it on a chip or tortilla but still good. It was topped with chorizo, sautéed mushrooms & onions, which made it so much better. For entrees, my husband had chicken and steak fajitas and I had cheese enchiladas. It was all perfect. Honestly, we were full after the appetizers but still couldn’t stop eating. My husband is not easily impressed and he loved the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant and Tyler!! I took a few pictures but we had already started digging in.

I think anyone who eats at El Dorado would agree on two things: the food is both delicious, and overpriced. The primary draw of this restaurant for me is that I can get a good full meal at 4am. I would never choose this place over other restaurants during normal eating hours.

Close to the strip right next door to the adult club. Do not get confused about the location and dont say where am i on he parking lot. Just enter and enjoy the beautiful restaurant which serves delicious Mexican food. Tuesday is the day where you can get a tequila shot for 6 dollars instead of 40 We ordered shrimps and tacos, fish and beef. The food they serve has enough food to get you full. Place is open for 24 hours so breakfast might be an option for my next trip Chips and salsa is also perfect.

This is a bar/restaurant, a little off the strip, dim lighting, interesting decor. There is a full bar with drink specials and craft beers. The server was friendly. The menu has all the traditional Mexican dishes, ample portions, very good salsa. I had the cheese enchiladas with a great sauce, cilantro rice……yummy. One friend enjoyed the enchilada trio (chicken, filet, shrimp). Another friend thought the grilled mahi tacos were excellent. One friend thought the pulled chicken burrito was delicious.

My first meal here was good. My second meal here will be my last. It felt as though our patronage was a burden on the staff and we left disappointed and uncomfortable.

Been here twice in the last week. We really like this place however during the last two visits something seemed to be off with the food. Don't know if Chef Paco was not there the last two times or not? The service was good the last two times, we walked in were seated right away and offered drinks. On this very last visit when the chips and salsa were brought to the table the chips seemed hard and stale tasting which at first seemed odd as we've never had this before. The rice, normally amazing buttery flavor with cilantro both this time and last week was really dry and not flavorful like it used to be. Last week I had the steak fajitas which were seasoned really well, the rice was bland and not like usual. Last night I got the ribeye deciding to try something new and it was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing, however the rice was again dry and bland, not like it used to be. Also my daughter got the fajitas this time and the guacamole they brought with her dish looked old and dry. My wife's dish which was the soup and a sandwich, also did not taste like it was seasoned the way it used to be. I really like this place but my wife was not happy the last two visits which is really sad. The staff is amazing, on top of everything, it just seems like the kitchen is not the same. I hope we will be back but it's up to the boss, two bad visits for her normally does not go back for a third disappointment.

We enjoyed this place. Much better than the typical Mexican restaurants common in the US. The portions were massive. Not cheap but not bad for Vegas. The dishes aren't mild or bland. Enjoy.

We had two great burritos -- one of them a special vegan option, which included cactus. Our server, Tyler, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. Xaver at the front was also friendly and made us feel welcome. And yes, the restaurant is next to a strip club, and shares a parking lot, which makes for a good Vegas story. (Once in the restaurant, you'd never know you were next door to a strip club.)

Absolutely Loved our dinner here last night. It was wonderful to find a restaurant that sourced Non GMO & organic foods. It had such a lovely ambience, & wonderful food!! I loved the chicken fajitas. Service was fantastic as well and we felt the prices were on point. We would definitely visit again.

I’m not sure why this restaurant is rated so high. The food was average. The service was good. The front receptionist was crabby and she needs to cover her boobs. Won’t be back.

This was the best Mexican food we found in Las Vegas! The guacamole was to die for and the chips & salsa, and monster margaritas made for a great night. We were a little apprehensive when we arrived, it is next door to a strip club. When we got inside we were blown away by the food.

Came here with four good friends because it was close by and we were wanting to have some Mexican food. We were very surprised at the quality of the food. They made the guacamole at our table side and it was extremely good. I remember two things the guacamole and the Margaritas everything else is hazy but I do remember that the fish tacos were excellent to stop by if you are in town.

This food was fantastic! My shrimp quesadilla was superb. My wife had the carne asada burrito, she loved it. Excellent service. Kind of a difficult to find entrance, I almost went into the adjacent gentleman's club by mistake.

We came here for dinner because we saw Chef Paco on Chopped. Don’t be put off by the strange location of this restaurant next to a “Gentleman’s Club.” It’s totally worth a visit! They are committed to non-GMO and organic ingredients. We are vegetarians and there were lots of choices for us including vegetable stuffed enchiladas. I especially enjoyed the Mexican corn on the cob. The tableside guacamole is pricey but worth it. Chef Paco even came out to talk to us and had his picture taken with us. He is super friendly and also sent us out a sample of his new dessert, a delicious orange sorbet in a frozen hollowed out orange. They are open 24 hours a day and the breakfast choices looked interesting.

I was by myself but was told they were booked for the night. I ordered something to go. $21 for 3 shrimp tacos with no sides. I've heard people rave about this place, but I didn't find the tacos were anything special. I live in Oklahoma, so I'm used to good Mexican food at a decent price. This is next to Sapphire Gentleman's club so there is plenty of parking.

This place is a treat. Everything here is good and because they use all organic ingredients it is really cool. I highly recommend this place. If you are visiting Las Vegas take the 5 minute trip off the strip and you will love it.

Mexican is a favorite cuisine . Always has been. I am in favor of the simplicity and taste of the food. I don't need table side guacamole. Though I like guac and a good tortilla soup I'm mostly a fan of a real good taco. A street taco. Non Americanized. We add cheese on everything in America. The real authentic Mexican taco has no cheese. I prefer the spices, flavor and authenticity of the food here. They don't try to be something they are not. What they are is real good, hometown authentic Mexican with their own little specialities. I hope it as consistent when you go. Go. If your a mexican fan you will not be disappointed.

Good service, the tacos were very good. Filet and crispy tacos were both good. A couple of 1942 margaritas, one spicy were enjoyable.

Why overpriced not worth the money. I have the steak enchiladas which were OK nothing to write home abouB. I ordered fried ice cream for dessert 🍨 When it came we were disappointed it was a scoop of ice cream with some caramel and oatmeal sprinkled on top. It was nothing close to fried ice cream. It was a $10 scoop of ice cream with oatmeal sprinkled on top very disappointing. Also ordered coffee to go with it and they were out of coffee. And to top it off it's next to a strip club..

A family and friends outing, about 20 people. The food, drinks and service was great. All the food is freshly made. I surveyed the group and everyone shared my feelings. This is a must go to place.

Everything we tried is GREAT! Pork Carnitas were the best ever and the guacamole made table side was excellent.

Must try Mexican food in Las Vegas. One of the best authentic Mexican food with top quality food ingredients. Found this on yelp for afternoon lunch as I was with family at circus circus casino and hotel. And Decided to walk to the restaurant. It’s very short walk of about 0.6 miles from circus circus. Initially as I approached was reluctant as it’s next to club but restaurant has its own entrance. Our server was Ivan and we told him we were Vegetarian and he recommended 1) cauliflower taco 2) house salad 3) bean enchiladas 4) cheese quasadia and guacamole They serve with complimentary chips and 2 salsa .. they are yummy ... they had wide variety of drinks options. Food came in and it’s was the best taco ... salad was very fresh and salad dressing was killer Thank you for the yummy food next time will keep room for dearest

Took 40 minutes to get our tasteless margaritas, restaurant not even half full and it's a small place, food was great, but a little pricey

Worst mexican in Vegas. No flavor, poor ingredients. Very bad service. The drinks are just ok. Never coming back. Very bad

Our Uber driver mentioned this place to us since we were staying at Resort World and we passed it often. This place was amazing. I wasn’t sure what to think at first being attached to a strip club but they are not affiliated. The salsa they bring is fantastic! Really solid salsa with the right amount of spice. We ordered the table side guacamole. It was expensive but very good. I ordered the trio enchiladas. They were all three very good. Pulled Chicken, Shrimp and Filet. The Filet had a mole sauce which was great. Shrimp had a white wine sauce. It also comes with a stuffed shrimp on top stuffed with mahi. Will for Sure be back.

Located next door to a strip club, it wasn’t very appealing but we were hungry and craved Mexican food. The interior was a bit outdated but looked decent. Scan the QR code for the menu, which had a lot of options. The drinks and meal were ok nothing special just average Mexican food. The chips were sort of stale but edible. It’s open 24 hours so convenient but wouldn’t come back as better options on The Strip.

After reading several reviews, I decided to have my husband's 40th birthday dinner here. We flew in from Montana with a group of 12 and he wanted Mexican food. I called ahead of time and arranged for dessert to be delivered to the restaurant from a local bakery. Upon arrival at the restaurant, the hostess or manager pulled me aside and complained that the desserts were delivered at 8am...apparently that was unacceptable to her because "nobody was here". Oddly enough the restaurant advertises that it's open 24 hours a day. She said it wasn't a big deal as long as I wrote a good review for the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and clean, but the service was SO slow. The food was pretty good. I had carne asada street tacos and they were tasty. Table-side guacamole was probably the best part of the entire meal. Overall everyone had a good time, but I don't think we'll go back. It is not conveniently located (10-15 minute uber ride from the strip) and shares the building with a gentleman's club. Couple that with being shamed for the dessert being delivered too early...it just isn't worth it.

The tableside guacamole was excellent! Made to order right before your eyes, you get to choose what you want in it. We said "everything!" Also, my Luna Azul margarita was outstanding as well! I had the shrimp tacos and was pleased to find that they did not use the tiny shrimp, but instead used small regular shrimp. Hubby got the carne asada burrito and said it was very good as well. A little out of the way, but worth it! Very friendly staff!

Best tacos I’ve ever had! They have so many options that are tough to choose from, and very reasonable prices.

We chose El Dorado after our wedding in the Grand Canyon. Gretchen (director of sales) was great, start to finish! She worked with us on finding the perfect selection of menu items for our group of 35. The restaurant had a private room for us that worked well for noise, moving around and socializing with our guests. They also allowed our cake to be delivered and took great care of us. The food was great and they happily accommodated two vegetarian options even though we understand making changes within a group can be difficult they had no issues. The food quality was great and we loved our menu choices. We had very small issues and honestly nothing you wouldn't expect with a large group. We give them 5 stars!

Based on the many positive reviews we were looking forward to dinner at El Dorado Cantina. But it turned out to be a big letdown! We arrived around 6 but had no reservation so they seated us at a high top table which was fine, unless you planned on getting up out of your chair! The place didn't appear busy at that time but it took our waiter a long time to come and get our orders. We had never been there but the waiter didn't ask if we had any questions and never mentioned any specials. They give you red and green salsa in about 1/4 cup ramekins. With 3 of us, that didn't last long. Additional salsa was $3.50. My brother remarked that had there been only one of us, the salsa portion would have been the same, so that small amount they gave us should have been per person, not per table. My brother and my friend ordered burros. They were large but the beef, although tender, was bland. And the burro was stuffed with white rice. Who serves white rice at a Mexican restaurant? I ordered Chicken Feinstein which is supposedly one of their specialties. It was horrible. The onions were supposed to be crispy...they were burned. The potatoes were tasteless and the chicken was very dry. I did order additional salsa to try and moisten up the dish but that didn't help. It took forever to get our check. We asked for boxes for the leftovers. I had only eaten about 1/3 of mine and figured I might be able to doctor it up later with things we had in our condo. Well, they only brought back the box with the burro, and said they threw mine away! The meal cost $23 so I was upset they had thrown away my money. After speaking with the manager, his offer for "replacement" was to come back the next day for a free margarita! If i wanted a margarita, I would have ordered it with my meal. Needless to say, I never went back. I've lived in Phoenix AZ for 40 years, so believe me, I'm very familiar with Southwestern cuisine and Mexican food from various regions. Unfortunately, El Dorado missed the mark on many levels. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Looked up for a good Mexican restaurant and we where certainly not disappointed!!awsome food, friendly service..Had the veggie bowl... excellent !! Will come back :-)

I had heard about El Dorado Cantina but didn't get there until recently. The entrance is easy to find and the parking lot is rather large. We had no parking issues because we got there on a Sunday afternoon, however, after dark with the gentlemen's club doing a steady business, it could be a different story! If you plan to visit both places, I'd suggest dinner first and then you'd get a parking spot!!!!!! We ordered two Cadillac Margaritas and they were amazing! The complimentary chips and salsa are very good - crisp chips and they're not greasy. We each ordered Carne Asada Street Tacos. The meat was tender and delicious. It was the first time trying street tacos so not sure that I like the soft tacos but that is not the fault of the restaurant. The rice was delicious as has been said on this thread and we had very good black beans with it. There is an extra charge for them so we split one order and it was enough for two small eaters. The prices are high when compared to most Mexican restaurants in town, but it was well worth it to know that they serve sustainably raised products and create some amazing dishes using them. We ended up with the flan thanks to the many kudos it received on trip advisor and it was as mouthwatering as promised. The waitress was so friendly and very helpful. It was the day of the Oscars so the pre-Oscar interviews were on all the t.v. screens and that was fun to watch while enjoying our meal. A visit is definitely a must!

A great find for some excellent Mexican food. No Americanized food here. We we pleasantly surprised to discover this gem in Las Vegas. Loved the real taste of good fresh food. There is a full service bar too. Don't be put off by location - next to the strip club, it is just real estate.

This restaurant shares a building with a gentleman's club, but has a separate entrance, so don't let that stop you! Staff was super, selection of food was amazing, and the servings were huge! We'll be back!

really great salsa and tacos! service could be improved as we had to call the server over a few different times and seemed like she forgot about our order. When we inquired how much longer it would take after waiting about 25 minutes for tacos, she came right out with it.. also note that this place is directly next to a strip club which there is nothing wrong with that but my 16 year old cousin was a little uncomfortable walking in so would t recommend bringing the family here!

Place looks a little sketchy from the outside. In the same building as a strip club, and the club has a much bigger sign! Started off the chicken taqueria. They were huge! Good taste and moist chicken. The initial basket of chips came with both a green and a red sauce. Both excellent and not too hot. Carne asada was huge also and very tender Salmon was also delish. Tues night special was Don Julio 1492 for $7 a shot. Place is not cheap, but it is worth it.

The Mexican food was unbelievable! The tacos were well made and the salsa was just amazing. Definite visit place with friends and family

Always wanted to try this place and so glad I did. Authentic flavors of Mexico without all the grease. Family friendly despite being adjacent to the world’s largest gentlemen’s club. Great service, fair prices just wish the drinks were more affordable.

Not the same.. this place used to be good. Now wait 1 hour for food. Mediocre food. Luke warm, they charge auto gratuity on all tables. We were 4 ppl and paid automatic tip.

Don't be surprised to find a "Gentleman's Club" next door.We enjoyed the fresh ingredients, especially the tacos. We had octopus and chorizo tacos and also shrimp tacos.

they have the best food around would recommend it I am not really fond of this kind of food but I loved there's

Visited El Dorado Cantina with my best friends while visiting Las Vegas from Chicago. This restaurant is adjacent and attached to a “gentlemen’s club” - I’m not a prude, just saying. It is open 24 hours. We were promptly seated in a large round booth - very comfortable. I agree with other reviewers - “interesting atmosphere”. Could also be updated some. Chips and two types of salsa were promptly served - red salsa and salsa verde. Oh that salsa verde was just delicious! I could have taken a bottle home! Both were slightly spicy - nothing screaming hot. Chips were a combination of white and blue tortilla chips, served warm. When consumed, both were replenished with fresh quickly (no addd fee). Waitress promptly greeted us but we were not ready to order - she disappeared for a while it seemed. Drinks are pricy - margaritas only on the rocks. Seemed very weak on the tequila for my liking. And VERY pricy. Food was served quickly and hot. No delay. I had the Enchiladas Mole. The Mole sauce was perfect - tasted homemade, not from a jar. The pulled chicken was delicious, nicely flavored, tender, and finely shredded. Two large enchiladas were served. These were served with a large portion of cilantro rice - yum - and a large portion of refried beans. Plenty of food - all delicious. My friends had the Carne Asada Burrito. It was a large sized burrito, definitely enough to share. Fresh, delicious food enjoyed from the first bite to the last bite. My friends asked for sauce on their burrito - and neglected to note that was $7 extra, as stated on the menu. 🤔 Nevertheless, all plates were emptied. There is a strange 3% service charge added to the receipt. When inquired, the waitress told us it was for upkeep of the restaurant. No mention of this on the menu. 🤔 On Wednesday, locals get 25% off their entire bill - BIG savings! All in all, food was VERY good from beginning to end. Drinks could be much better - drinks are better and cheaper elsewhere. Service was ok - could have been more consistent. Barring the two 🤔 noted above, I would recommend El Dorado Cantina for the food.

Worst Tex Mex entrees we have ever been served. Beef enchiladas covered with what tastes like marina sauce and served luke warm. Burrito is served like a wrap and again tasteless and served lukewarm. Service was good, house margarita was not worthy of reordering. Starters were good...tortilla soup, salad. Will not be going back to this restaurant again.

I have 5 years living in Vegas and I'm always looking a good place to eat Mexican Food, well I think I found it this is the best place you can find a great variety of Mexican dishes in the Menu from all around Mexico they have a special every moth, the margaritas are amazing the guacamole and the grasshoppers take to Mexico in every bite. I ate the panuchos and that dish remind my moms cooking really they take very serious every dish I also recommend the flan and the mole. I would definitely come ask very soon, the staff is so friendly and the manager approach or table to ask about our experience I was very happy

Authentic great food right off the strip . Its next door to a Strip club but dont let that fool ya - Price is right and the portions were big and tasty . I had the chicken burrito and it was fantastic. Good Happy Hour . Friendly staff and great chips and salsa - Gotta go

Myself and my friends took a taxi to dine here from the main strip and it was so worth it. The venues neighbour may be slightly controversial but who cares! The food is divine with exceptional choice and the service amazing too. If you go make sure you order the nachos... Sooooooo good!

My husband and I first visited El Dorado back in March 2015 when it first opened as I needed a restaurant with organic and non-gmo food, which is hard to find in Vegas near the Strip. I just recently ate here again with extended family on a return trip to town. We were a large group of 7, so they put us in the back room, which was fantastic as it was quiet for us to carry on a conversation. :-) They are also willing to work with food allergies, which is fantastic. The food was fresh and flavorful as always!!! As others have shared, El Dorado shares a building with the Sapphire Gentleman's Club. So, if you look for the Sapphire sign you will find the restaurant on the left side of the building.

We received professional, attentive service. Warm/friendly. Anthony did an exceptional job. Margaritas + Modelo Especial. Split steak/shrimp Fajitas. Guac. Good flavors, large quantity, tasty. People everywhere. Younger crowd. Lots of energy...

I happened to come across this restaurant walking the strip. I was very impressed by the food as it is "Mexican" food not American Mexican food, huge difference. I had a nopal taco and an elote. So good! Totally recommend!

Thought we were in the wrong place at first due to the “club” next door. Johnny took great care of us and our food and service were exceptional.

We went to the soft opening at Tivoli Village and was extremely impressed on the quality and overall ambiance of the new location. The staff is very friendly and look forward to going back!

We chose this restaurant because of the unique variety of items on the menu. We started with the Imperial Shrimp which were very good. Then we had a Carnitas Burrito and Carnitas Enchiladas. Obviously we love carnitas, and these were very good. Both were large portions and were lunch the next day. We walked to the restaurant because it was only 2 blocks from our hotel. However, the street that it is on is rather deserted except for the traffic whizzing by. We were a bit uncomfortable with the neighborhood, so taking some form of transportation would be recommended. Otherwise, we loved the food here.

We love this place and go multiple times each time we visit Las Vegas. Amazing food and margaritas. Obviously in a “unique” location but highly recommend for authentic Mexican experience.

This place was recommended by a friend and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is a bit weird, and this is right next to a "Gentleman's Club". It's higher priced than typical, but everything was good. Service was pretty good.

I am not sure why this place has so many positive reviews.. First, it is not located on the Strip. It is at the very end of the whole entertainment, further than the Trump’s. Next to a strip club. Second, the service is really sloppy. It is slow, not attentive, and believe they are just understaffed. Third, value for money. It is expensive, just like other restaurants on the strip, but the food itself is average. Maybe it was a bad day for them, or for me. Wish all the best.

I’m not sure why the ratings are so high for this place. The food is average at best, most dishes I tried were bland and lacking flavour. The dips were delicious and the quesadillas were fine too. The waitress dropped a plate of food all over my jacket. This incident was not handled as well as it should have been. I would have expected something in return for the time I spent trying to clean off all of the sour cream, and the cost of having to now get it cleaned properly. But when the bill came, even after we mentioned about the jacket there was no apology, no discount, not even a piece of tiny chocolate. Quite a surprise really. We wont be returning.

Disappointed beyond measure! Made a reservation for 8:45 for a birthday celebration and they FAILED! Lewis the manager was absolutely no help in getting us seated for our daughters birthday dinner. Needless to say we left after waiting over an hour for our table. Will not return!!!

A bit off the Strip, and next to what is self-declared as the world’s largest strip club, the food in this open 24-hour restaurant is surprisingly good. The table-side made guacamole was very good. My steak tacos were tasty though a bit dry. My wife enjoyed her burrito. Our margaritas were good as well. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Not cheap, but overall worthwhile.

Was taken here by local friends and loved It! Tableside guac was heaven, shrimp from the appetizer sampler could have been a meal! Yum!!! Perfect service and food. Highly recommend this off the strip secret.

If you spend time in Vegas, make sure some of it is eating at El Dorado Cantina. We had amazing food and excellent service from Jose. 2 others from the staff stopped at our table just to ask if there was anything they could do. The bar was in one area of the room and there were several televisions on different stations, but you would never have known it if you didn't look for it. Peace and quiet for those of us who desired that and sports and talking for those who wanted that. All of this in addition to really good food and service. We walked there in 90-100 degree heat and it was worth it!

Fun atmosphere, good food and a great drink menu. Good margaritas and really good spicy tacos. In addition, big flat screen TVs all around with sports 24hrs.

Everything was amazing and happy hour is like 1/2 price ! Got the tostados, steak burrito and chips and salads. Yum. We went to the one next to the strip club.

Right next to a strip club, which almost stopped my wife, but totally separate. Food was outstanding, had the mole enchiladas very flavorful with a little kick. Rice was a buttery white rather than Spanish a pleasant treat. Highly recommend

Don’t be put off by the location (it’s in the same building as Sapphire strip club). This restaurant was very good! We had great service, our waiter was very personable. My husband ordered an old fashioned and ended up getting another because it was so good. I ordered a mango margarita and it was excellent. For lunch we ordered tacos with beans and rice. Everything was delicious!

Not the biggest portion size nor the fastest service but they do get an extra star for being open 24 hours. The burrito was very tasty and was really good. I just wish rice and beans came with it and I really wish the burrito were bigger. Still, well worth trying.

Not a bad thing to say here. Great spot. Sat at the bar with my spouse and had amazing service from Caesar and the whole crew. They are attentive and great to interact with. Fabulous margaritas! GREAT food. Just great. We had several appetizers and shared a dinner. Definitely not your boring run-of-the-mill Mexican/American food. This food is innovative, flavorful and wonderful. GF, vegetarian and vegan options as well. Plentiful portions. I highly recommend this spot and will return again soon!

We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation from a local resident. She said it is in a bit of a questionable area but worth going. So agreed, a bit off the beaten path but not far, and it is neighbors with a gentleman’s club but that didn’t deter us. The decor is nice and cozy dark colors but with a Mexican flair. The staff was very friendly. Service was good we did not have to wait long. The food was the highlight, it was excellent. We were with another couple and we all enjoyed our meals. I got tacos with rice and beans, my husband got a burrito rice or beans and the other couple each got the bowl...can’t remember the name but we all really enjoyed the food. I would recommend and go there again next time I am back in Vegas.

Open for take-out during quarantine. Kids meals available. We purchased food here for Cinco de Mayo. Vegetarian options also available. I got the chicken taquitos. They were amazing.

Go here. Authentic mid priced tasty food good service and happy to serve you. Yummy all around. Carnitas was awesome, chicken too and of course the homemade tortillas were excellent. A beautiful street taco experience.

We had a wonderful Saturday night at El Dorado Cantina. Its open 24 hours We made our reservations on open table and was promptly seated They have a superb list of drinks and we enjoyed maragaritas. They have complementary chips. Portion size is huge and food is super tasty I had their Paco's Mole Sampler. It was tasty and came with three different moles. My husband loved his Cochinita Pibil whch is Gluten Free. Per the menu, the dish is: Achiote marinated slow roasted Hill Meat Company’s pork with rich Mayan spices, wrapped in banana leaves, topped with habanero onion citrus mix. (Yucatan) We were too full for dessert. Service was superb.

I ordered previously after 3pm and the shrimp Burrito was excellent and hot it included a little pot verde salsa. So I wanted it again but ordered at 12 noon. I also added veggies, brown rice and black beans on the side. This shrimp burrito tasted old and dry. For the sides, the rice was half a scoop, terrible for $6.50 as was the asparagus which came in 4 very skinny pieces all cold and stringy for $6.50. The only decent portion were the beans but they were cold for $6.50. Maybe you have different staff for the noon time Cantina because it turned me right off.

Everyone has their preferences, with that being said Mexican food is not in my top cuisine choices. I've been to El Dorado a handful of times now, my friends love Mexican food;) This is my choice of Mexican restaurants in town. El Dorado has a wonderful setting and spicy fare with a great authentic representation of classic dishes. What draws me here is the fact that they select their ingredients free of pesticides, steroids, etc. They have Vegan and gluten free menu items! First time I was here with a friend who is Vegan, they went above and beyond in accommodating my friend. This alone speaks volumes. My favorite here is the Albondigaa soup, it's quite tasty and is a meal in itself. Yes, it is- tortilla chips make a great dipping 'utensil'. A tie for my favorite here are some of the desserts: the Chef's Signature and Tres leches cake. The interior is quite attractive, tables all around with the bar situated in the middle. They also have a back room, which I believe can be used for a private party. Four stars- parking. It's not the most ideal parking situation since it shares it with another establishment;) That being written ha! Do not wait to come here, take an Uber or simply drive here you won't regret having anything you order!

I first visited El Dorado on a road trip in March 2015 as I was searching for organic and non-gmo food. It was delicious then, and just as good on our most recent trip. As others have said, you can taste the difference in their ingredients. If you are expecting chain restaurant type Mexican, this is not it. It is more of the authentic Mexican food that you will find in regions, such as San Jose del Cabo and in Baja, which is fresh and tasty. It is attached to the Sapphire Gentlemen's Club, which makes for a great story for your 76-year-old Mom to share with her friends. :-) The service was prompt and not over-bearing. We did not have a reservation and were able to get in on a Tuesday night around 8pm without issue.

#1 excellent food #2 all vegans/vegetarians welcome #3 drinks are not great #4 make a reservation (it matters in Vegas). I just love this place, when they decided to hire/partner with Chef Paco it was the best decision they ever made. It is healthy, authentic Mexican food, all carefully sourced. Try the cactus or pickled jalapenos! It is adjacent to a strip club, but it is Vegas. The food is provided to the strip club, but health regulations control what can and can not come from the strip club to the restaurant, so don't let the strip club bother you. This place is the best mexican food in town!!

This place is amazing. We are from Texas and are so picky about Mexican food. This is hands down one of the best places we’ve ever eaten. Our server Emily was friendly and made our experience wonderful. Thank you for being the best place we’ve eaten in Vegas! Definitely a must!

The place is in an odd location, sort of connected to a gentleman's club. It is also a little difficult to find and took us a while to get there with our GPS. But it is well worth the effort. Inside the place is a tiny bit dated and dark but still welcoming with terrific over-sized booths, a large bar, and separate dining room. The service is professional, prompt and attentive, although they could use an update to their uniforms. The food is sensational from the salsa to the churros. All of the taco varieties are sizable, flavorful and well-seasoned. The corn is rich, creamy, and both sweet and salty; if not also very filling. I suggest skipping the beans and rice because although they are tasty, the mains are the real star. My only tiny criticism is that the menu is huge and all of the options may be a little overwhelming for some and not really in keeping with the high-end cuisine.

I came to El Dorado Cantina just before 1a, spent 5 minutes waiting at the front door someone to help me, went to the bar, and spent another 5 minutes waiting for someone. I put in my to go order, and while the bartender was helpful initially, after he took my order i barely saw him. 25 minutes after i ordered, he came by to say he was going to check on my order, and then disappeared again. Customers who ordered after me got their food while i was still waiting for two pieces of cake. While the food might be good, it's not worth the hassle to wait all hour for.

I went to LV as a solo traveller so I was looking for a place with a bar and good food low key nothing too wild. I had a bad dining experience the night before so I wanted to make up for it next day and had found this place. The drinks were really good! I ordered 2 margaritas and they hit the spot. The bartenders were really attentive, professional and cool people. I ordered the fajita plate which was tasty, it was definitely a lot of food for 1 person but still good. Next time I go I will try the fish tacos! Also this place is next to a gentlemen's club so make sure you're walking through the right door lol

Delicious and organic. I have a sulfite allergy and it is hard eating out. I had this delivered to our casino via Postmates. Awesome experience all the way around.

Very good tacos. We both had the mahi-mahi tacos, one grilled and the other crispy. They have a large selection of tequilas but a very short list of beers and we couldn’t get a prickly pear margarita so that’s why it only got a 4 out of 5. That and the location is next to a gentleman’s club.

This was well worth the walk from Circus, Circus for the happy hour. $7 margaritas, which were hand made (not out of a plastic bottle as seen in many bars) and up to $7 plates of food really made this place. To top it all, we went on Tequila Tuesday where for $5 you get a shot of prime tequila (usually $30 a shot). We had 3 drinks each, a selection of 6 street tacos ($3.50 each) and empanadas. The latter didn't hit the spot but the tacos were to die for. It was quiet for happy hour, probably because it was so far from the strip but when it comes to good food, drinks and value for money, it is worth finding this place. Barman was very welcoming and described everything to us. It was wonderful to have him serve us as he made it special - it was a pity his shift ended as we ate because I would have loved to chat more to him.

Absolutely loved our Wedding dinner get together with family. It was wonderful to find a restaurant in Las Vegas that was very good. It had such a lovely ambience and very great food. The service was fantastic. We would definitely visit this restaurant again and highly recommend ❤️

This restaurant had excellent food and Emelida provided excellent service. The Made at the Table guacamole was pricey but worth every cent. All three of us enjoyed our entrees. I'd highly recommend this restaurant! The menu had a huge variety but just wished we'd had room for some of their flan.

Took out of town company here. Our first time eating here. Been on our list to try for a while but it’s a far drive for those of us that live in Henderson. Had to wait 10 minutes even tho there were many empty tables. Probably no servers like everyone else. The music was so loud we had a great difficulty talking. When we asked the server to turn the music down she replied it was not possible. The food was average. Expected better for the prices. Chips were a charge even tho she did not tell us that when she asked if we wanted some. Service was not good when a side came out when we were almost finished eating. Our server was good it was a kitchen problem. We will not return just because of the noise level. The food was not a level to make us overlook that.

Paul our bartender was great made perfect drinks! We had great chips and salsa best guacamole I’ve ever had ! Manager was so friendly as well . I had steak skewers just awesome ! I couldn’t have been happier 10/10

We didn’t really know what to expect going here and went based on Trip Advisor reviews. OH MY! It was way better than expected! First of all, it’s organic nonGMO food. We had the table side guacamole and couldn’t stop eating it! And the rice! Ohhhhh the rice was soooooo good! We finished up with the Flan....no other Flan will ever compare to that one! We will be going back on our next trip to Vegas!

Always great food and at a affordable price for organic HMO and GMO free Mexican food. I would say it’s kind of south west mixed with a little texmex. Chief Paco and his team knock it out of the park!

We came here for my birthday dinner. It is attached to a gentleman's club but separate building and you'd never know. So please don't be put off by that. This place was low lit with booths and tables. We got a cosy booth, and was greeted straight away by a really friendly waiter. We got some drinks and some table guacamole and OMG this is the best table gauc we've ever had and we've had quite alot on other restaurants. They make it fresh in front of you and ask what heat you want. We went medium and serious was delishious. Mind blown! We then went Lettuce tacos and chicken feinstein and both were utterly delish! The service was faultless so on point. Utterly recommend and can not fault at all. Thank you for the best Mexican meal we've had. (pictures don't do it justice)

fresh food prepared expertly, all delicious and without any GMO corn. Large variety of organic ingredients and non-feedlot meats - - antibiotic free and much healthier than the usual restaurant fare

I have had cheese enchiladas all over th US and Mexico. Up until now, th best was Boca Chica in St Paul Mn. But El Dorado Cantina knocked th socks off-it has a hot but not too hot ingredient in it. AND the habanjero mango margherita-one of many great ones!

It's funny driving here as the restaurant is flanked by so called Gentlemen’s clubs. In fact, the cantina shares its building with joints with a catchy names like The Sexy Tramp or the like. The place is upscale in its look and feel and the waiters and busboys are very nice and helpful. I absolutely adored the chips and salsa but my cocktail wasn't very good and our food was just not tasty. I left very disappointed. I had wanted an incredible meal but it didn't work out that way for our group. Oh well.

My first impression of the cantina location on Sammy Davis Blvd (Industrial Way) adjacent to a gentleman's club was that thus could be interesting, but I guess clients of strip joints enjoy good food too! It's a friendly place with good service, good food in ample portions, with an extensive, authentic menu. We were there in the late afternoon and it was friendly and peaceful. Later in the evening and very early morning, I can imagine it being a rougher place (it's open 24 hours a day). The food is moderately to high priced-- two lobster tacos were $35, adding a third made it $55, but the huge chili relleno was $18. The side of rice was plain small grained white rice. Chips, salsa and guacamole were not complementary.

The food was average - we had tacos and burritos. Little bit pricey side for lunch Friendly staff and good service

We used Trip Advisor to help us find a Mexican Restaurant for dinner after a long day at a trade show. We couldn't get in to the top rated spot so we thought we would give El Dorado Cantina a try. Please be aware the restaurant is located in the same building as a Strip Club. Super awkward. The staff was very friendly and the interior of the restaurant was very nice. We had a group of 10 and they had an area at the back of the restaurant that was perfect for us. The food was good but not over the top this night. They have tons of awards on the walls. Clean, nice, better than average Mexican food but not somewhere I am probably going to return to due to the location. Vegas is grungy but this part of town is super grungy.

I found the margarita to be good, the food was tasty and best of all the price was not like the rest of Vegas and my wallet was still in tact wwwhen I left.

Jeff was our waiter, attentive, knowledgeable and super at table side guacamole. Which was great and highly recommended. Food was very good. Nice atmosphere. Hostess couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant to talk with. Manager made the rounds checking on all the customers. Overall food was great with an excellent selection and very nice attention to customer experience. Will be back

Let me start with one thing that left a bad impression. I know that a party of twelve in Las Vegas means that gratuity is likely to be included. I also should look and check for that on the detailed receipt. Well, I didn't. I received my family's portion of the tab on a credit card slip with a fat "AMOUNT BEFORE TIP." That amount looked high. Then another member of our party cautioned: the tip was already included, 20%. Ah -- gotcha! That was a close call. Apart from that, the experience was good. The staff was as nice, sweet, and personable as anyone would expect. The food: delicious! So, I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. However, there are "deducts" that take the rating down to "three stars." Here is the list: 1. That "AMOUNT BEFORE TIP" incident mentioned above. 2. No high chairs/booster seats available for the two toddlers in our party. 3. We probably weren't expected to have toddlers in our party, as the restaurant shares a tiny corner of the building housing the largest strip club in the world. 4. The tiny corner that the restaurant occupies doesn't have any windows inside and there is no outdoor seating. (No real deduct here. However, I struggle to recall a ground-level Mexican eatery without those amenities.) 5. The prices definitely don't feel like a bargain.

The food was horrible and the service not much better. What's amazing is this place could be so much worse than its ratings. I know it does a ton of advertising and has billboards around Las Vegas and the reviews are good but I can tell you 50 places in Vegas that put this food to shame. I'm not sure if my Shi Tzu would even eat their grub.

Fantastic food, excellent service, large portions and small price! Authentic and fresh food, highly recommended . Thankyou

This was our first dinner here in Vegas and, aside from being next to a Gentleman's Club, this has to be one of THE BEST Mexican restaurants here in the Vegas area. I chose the Carne Asada and it was the best I have ever had in my Life!!! I would go again just for that BUT they made fantastic Guacomole right at your table and the Orange Sherbet in frozen in the half orange peel was an idea I will use at our own dinner parties! Great Place and Family Friendly... good prices...happy staff...

This restaurant was amazing! I was here on a Saturday night- made a reservation- was greeted warmly at the door and seated at a high top table. Within minutes, I was greeted with water and asked my drink order. My server was very friendly and brought me chips and salsa. They were delicious. I ordered the tableside guacamole which was amazing. It came with blue chips. Loved them. I had pastor tacos, rice and beans. Food and service was great. Highly recommend! Note- I took a taxi here from Las Vegas Hilton resort world and it was hard to get one back. I would recommend taking Uber or Lyft back to your hotel.

El Dorado surprises ome diners becase it is in the same building with Sapphire Gentleman's CLub. Entrances are separate. Food is fine. We ordered off the menu with just rice, chicken and cheese at $14 a plate. Not bad for a Vegas lunch. Took a while to get seated even though there was no line, but the rest was speedy.

I will admit that Mexican food it’s not my first choice for dinner however, I sometimes indulge my husband and his love of Mexican food. We went to El Dorado Cantina, and I loved the food and our experience there. The service was fantastic, gracious and welcoming. The chips and salsa and the fajitas were amazing! The chicken was so moist and so wasthe fillet steak. The veggies were done perfectly. We will definitely be back when we’re in Vegas next time!

The El Dorado Cantina might be in an unusual location in Las Vegas, but it excels at the food and service. Without a doubt a hidden Jem. Everything was super fresh. Best ever

We didn't go in to eat here because when we pulled up it looked like a strip bar. Recommend that the signage be corrected to better clarify the restaurant location.

We did not know that El Dorado is more or less within a strip club and likely shares the kitchen with the establishments other eateries. First off, the good: the salsa is excellent for the chips and salsa that traditionally come with even sitting down at a Mexican joint. However, refills cost extra! I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the nopales tacos, however, they were heinously overpriced despite the flavor. Additionally, I had a spicy jalpapeño margarita that was the bomb! Now for the bad: let's start with the service. Our waitress disappeared more often than not, it took them nearly 30 minutes to serve me my incredibly simple side of steamed vegetables. When 2 late members of the party arrived, 35 minutes passed before they could order, the food was incorrect, and it was another 20 minutes before the order was rectified. TL;DR the potentially tasty food is absolutely not worth the hole it will make in your wallet or the time you will waste trying to get it.

Searching for a breakfast spot near our hotel led us to the El Dorado Cantina. This amazing jewel is open 24/7 and boasts an extensive menu of Southwest/Mexican cuisine. The food is all locally sourced, organic and GMO free. Service was prompt and friendly. Their coffee was amazing. Our breakfast entrees (breakfast burrito & breakfast skillet) were delicious. We will definitely make a point to eat here the next time we are in Vegas.

I found the food to be amazing. Thought the service was fantastic. Here are a few thoughts to keep in mind. 1. This is not a kid or family place, it sits right next to a gentlemen's club. 2. Not a Mexican restaurant that serves things in platter form.. aka you cant get a combination plate example. (Enchiladas, taco, burrito combination with rice and beans. 3. The place is a little on the expensive side. 3 tacos cost 4.50 each. But the tableside Guacamole is amazing and the food is really great. 16.00 4) The food is a little different no Mexican rice here, its cilantro lime infused white rice, still fantastic but different. Enchiladas come with green sauce not red. Overall I was very happy with my visit, if I am around again maybe will come in for lunch.

We just wanted a little road trip from Northern Arizona with some good food. Did the dam tour and drove into vegas for a dinner. SOOOO happy we found this place. Excellent food,-rice was a huge surprise- Really great.

Every trip to Las Vegas includes a dinner at El Dorado. Easy to miss because it is tucked in the corner, next to a huge strip bar. Large portions of excellent Mexican food.

If I could add more stars I would. Let's start with the service it was beyond five star service anything we wanted was immediately taken care of. The margaritas are all freshly done no mix no sweet and sour the way Margaritas are supposed to be. Next came chips and salsa yummy and the guacamole had made at the table exactly how we wanted it. Then we ordered the carnitas OMG the best I've ever had and I've had homemade ones but this was fabulous nothing is made with any preservatives everything is fresh and it is amazing. Then came desert flan was crazy good. If you enjoy great very authentic Mexican food from Mexico City this is the place to go.

We always come here to eat when in Vegas. All organic, gluten-free, non-gmo. Service is outstanding. Always take care of any special needs.

we were invited for lunch area, area not the greatest on arrival. They advertise organic, but also there is a disclaimer that they cannot guarantee that everything is 100 % organic. Carne aside, conchinita - steak and pork dishes came with a strong hint of lime. I did not like the pickled habaneros on the side, some chemical taste. Corn tacos, were good and tasty with sour cream and poblano. Tropical mani-mahi, fish definitely had a smell, did not bother to eat the rest. Churros served with caramel, banana foster and mexican chocolate sauce, not the greatest, I prefer it served with hot chocolate'.

Excellent chicken and shrimp fajitas, good pina colada, awesome chips and salads, and finally great bacon wrapped fired shrimp. We will come back for sure.
Best Mexican food I have ever had!
Wow! This place was off the charts good! If you like American - Mexican where it is slathered in cheese then you won't like it here. This was so fresh, GMO free and super good! Tableside Guac and their margiritas is a must!!! Second plus is it is just off the strip, so it is close but takes you away from the Vegas feel for a bit which can be refreshing.
