I loved everything about this restaurant. The decor, vibe, food, and the best mojito I’ve ever had in my life. Four adults, one child, full meals and a couple drinks and the bill was barely over $100. I will definitely seek this place out the next time I’m in Philly!

This is the real deal. This ain't Kansas anymore. It's authentic Mexican food cooked by the real people. Its a small place, with friendly faces. The food is bonkers. It's delish. You cannot get better tacos in Philly. A great family business to support. We left happy and stuffed.

We had outstanding Mexican food in Philly during a trip for a business convention. The food was all exceptional. Great queso with Chorizo that was not too spicy for me. The salsa on the green enchiladas was perfectly balanced with a great flavor and just the right amount of lime. And the chicken tinga quesadilla reminded us of trips to Mexico. Overall, highly recommended.

A wide variety of Mexican food. Great portions. I had the chimichanga and it was delicious. The service was incredible and the decoration of the restaurant is amazing. Really recommend to eat in the place.

Had a few amazing pints at Love City Brewing Company (one block away) and the bartender there suggested picking up grub from El Purepecha to bring back to the bar. We weren't disappointed. The el pastor burrito was amazing and my buddies who ordered chicken, steak, and mole burritos couldn't be happier. The only downfall was that it took about 20 minutes to make everything when we ordered, but it was great to see that everything was cooked fresh, right in front of us. Next time we will just call ahead!

I was very excited to come back to Temple because I believe I will have a good time!! I plan on doing some non age appropriate things but I will not mention that here!! I came back today and put my bags in my dorm and then left to go get dim sum garden!! We then had a very deep and moving conversation that lasted 10 seconds and consisted of one of us saying that this place looks good and we should try it!! We then did and I can say with a high degree of honesty that it was very good!! I got a gigantic torta with chicken and it was filled to the brim with good thing!! The chicken was very seasoned and the sandwich was easy to eat!! It was massive but I ate it in less than 10 minutes because it was very good!!

This tiny Mexican restaurant/grill is everything you want from a local small eatery. Pull up a bar stool, All is homemade right in front of you. A great spicy poblano sauce on fully loaded tacos carnitas. Can't wait to go back and try more on the menu.

Was in town for business and this was within walking distance. Glad it was. I had the al pastor burrito. I was pleasantly surprised to find pineapple pieces in it as many places I’ve eaten over the years seem to miss this vital ingredient. Good flavor. Big portions. My traveling companion was vegetarian. He called ahead to make sure the beans didn’t contain lard. He was told they don’t, for others with that concern.
Good food, service, prices
Nice atmosphere inside. Light, bright and fresh with touches of character. Also had nice Mexican music on at a good volume. Seems very very popular for take out of course we are still in a pandemic. There is plenty of seating. Large menu with lots of option. We had enchiladas with rice and refried beans and quesadilla with sides of rice and bean. All was tasty with the rice being a bit of an exception in that it did not have tons of flavor. The beans on the over had were some of the best I have had. Servings were large and prices where very reasonable. The service and prompt and friendly --- excellent. We would go again.
