We love Spanish food and El Raval hits the spot! Authentic, quality ingredients, local ingredients, good portions, and absolutely delicious! Love the mussels, oysters, Secreto, Patatas Bravas, Torta, Mushrooms and cocktails. The Gazpacho Cocktail was fantastic. Not thick like a Bloody Mary but rather a salty, Vodka cocktail with just the right amount of cucumber and tomato water. The Crema Catalana is big enough for two people (but, we each had our own and ate every bite!). Great wine list too.

We loved the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the location. We had tapas, paella de pato, some desserts, house cocktail. Our experience was above expectations. Great place to eat in Austin that's not Tex Mex or barbeque

Food was to die for, and the service was top notch. Never go wrong with gambas al ajillo to start the finish with a superb grilled octopus, highly recommended

We had a fantastic evening with friends at El Raval. The food was outstanding. Everything that was recommended to us was superb. The Chicken Al Brasa was the best I have ever had! The Lebanese twist on it was fire! Our server Sarah, and her assistant Sam were both very warm and engaging. I loved them so much I felt I needed to invite them over to my monthly dinner party! Glad to be back in Austin. I found my summer spot!

Having spent some time in Barcelona and surrounding small towns i can testify that "El Raval" is the REAL DEAL!! I had a fabulous server who collaborated with the Chef and surprised me with an abundance of Deliciousness! I never touched the menu and my tastbuds experienced pure joy with every BITE! YES, I will be back and I am so EXCITED to have this fabulous dining experience just around the corner. VENGA!!

Was a good choice for a pit stop for lunch with the family. Tasty food, nice service and good environment. Good variety of food, nice drinks!

Spanish cuisine, tapas style. Menu items to suit every taste. Fun to share. The paellas are excellent. Fun atmosphere, friendly wait staff.

What an incredible addition to the Austin restaurant scene! We went in Saturday evening and had a really delicious time! the ceviche and ham as were too die for! The wine selection was sparse, but it was the opening weekend. The cocktail list was absolutely innovative and fresh! The Tangier Fizz was shockingly delightful. Although the y seemed short staffed, the service team seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves which is a great sign. I will be back very soon to explore more of this culinary hot spot!

Best gambas al ajillo I ever had along with an order of fried calamari. Everything was cooked to perfection and most importantly the service was amazing. Thank you.

A great meal of expertly crafted cocktails and tapas of a wide variety. Super ceviche, mussels, calamari, and vegetarian options. Very nice bottle of wine and professional service. Highly recommended!

If you have any food allergies, intolerances, or restrictions you should definitely avoid this restaurant. There are numerous serious errors on the menu. A number of items marked as vegetarian are made with shellfish or other seafood (such as fish sauce). The chef/ owner doesn’t seem to understand the difference between pescatarian, vegetarian, or vegan. After discovering that, I was very hesitant to trust any other menu labels. I was told the potatoes were gluten free, but they weren’t marked as such on the menu, so I didn’t risk it. I ordered an item I was assured was vegetarian and gluten free, but based on the digestive problems that started less than 30 minutes later, I’d bet money there was gluten in the sauce. If they aren’t going to get the labels right, don’t add them to the menu, and no, I don’t want to go into all my medical issues and the various things I have to avoid with the waiter, just tell customers what’s in the food. As for the other people I was with (who have no food restrictions), they said the cocktails were very disappointing, and the food was just so-so.
