Welcomed new addition to Midtown

By Jan_from_Atlanta |

We dined outside as it is very loud inside. Ceviche was nicely plated and tasty. The corn pudding is really good. Pork belly carnitas were a bit dry and need more sauce and flavor. Happy hour drinks and food menu from 4:30 - 6:30 M-F.

Can’t wait to visit again 🫠

Cecilia was so attentive and down to earth, wonderful server, will request her next time! Mario was bartending, came out to assist us without us even asking, and was likely the best dressed/ best smelling human in Atlanta this evening. Another staff member came to speak with us, wish I remembered his name (he gets BEST HAIR award 🫠)… he told us about late night music there… we def. coming back to do just that 💃🏻 Feel like I found a gem, thank you all for bringing joy to our day 🫶

Upscale Mexican cuisine in Midtown Atlanta

By GolfUMK |

Not sure if all dishes are authentic Mexican, but they tasted good. Stylish in- and outside seating. Waitresses who know the menu and can give recommendations. Grilled octopus as a starter and the Ribeye was excellent ($65). Long cocktail list. Lounge music. Good choice for an enjoyable evening.

Wow!

This was our first visit to El Valle and we will be back! The cocktail and wine selection is refreshing and the menu has something for everyone. We started with the guacamole appetizer which wasfresh and delicious. My husband and I shared the chicken tacos which were perfect and added a side of the corn pudding which was amazing! Our server was pleasant and attentive too. They were out of the Sauvignon blanc I wanted to order and he offered a sample of the other SB or me to try as an alternative. This is the perfect spot for dinner and especially before a concert or play at the Fox. Try this place. You won’t be disappointed!

Late dinner

By aspiringtraveler2013 |

After checking in at a nearby hotel, I found this restaurant open late on a Thursday evening. The restaurant has a modern and attractive decor. The server was friendly. The margaritas were authentic and used fresh ingredients. I found the options on the food menu too limited and would have liked a few more standard Mexican dishes to complement the inventive ones. The halibut ceviche, while presented artfully, had a marinade that lacked flavor. The chicken tacos were good. The highlight of the dinner was the dessert of deconstructed s'mores. Whether I would return would depend on the current menu.

Missed Entree

Very nice atmosphere and the food is quite good…if you get it. Five of us had dinner Thursday 4/17/2025…well, four of us had dinner and the fifth just kind of watched us. We all received our entrees except my wife, who ordered the Enselada de Naranjas. Several minutes after we were all served my wife had a plate of guacamole set in front of of her. Just the guacamole…nothing else (the table had enjoyed thier guac and chips as an appetizer). My wife looked puzzled and informed the plater of the salad she was expecting. The plater in turn looked confused and said she would check on it as she took the plate of guacamole away. Nobody returned to our table until we were pressed to ask for the check as we were trying to make a concert for. I told the server (whose name I will not say) that my wife never received her entree so I would not expect to see it on our check. He barely apologized. I will say the server was VERY young and probably lacked experience - especially in what do do in this type of situation. That aside (and that is a BIG aside), the food was very good. The bill was correct, although nothing taken off the bill to make up for the fact that one of our party never received her meal.

Perfect before a show!

Great service from all the staff, yummy ceviche as an appetizer, and their deconstructed s’more was really good. There’s a parking lot behind their building that they will validate for you, up to three hours. Definitely recommend before a show at the Fox.

Loved the food. Excellent guacamole. Great fish tacos. Chicken tacos were also great. Brussels sprouts a nice side dish. Nice bar. Great place!

Unexpected and pleasant variations on classics

By Giampaolo O |

This restaurant has a small menu of variations of classic Mexican fares. Very good choice of ingredients and very well executed. Waiters very attentive and with a very good knowledge of what is offered. Definitely high scale but worth the visit.

Mocktails all the way

First, GET THE MOCKTAIL. Worth every penny! Beautiful presentation of food. Friendly service. It was nice that the chef came out to switch our chips (on his own accord) when he felt like it didn't rise to their standard. When we go back, we would probably stick with the breakfast. The mole wasn't great, but the breakfast was to die for. We ordered several plates and shared which I would highly recommend.

Awesome Upscale Mexican Cuisine!

If Trip Advisor allowed .5 rating, I would give a 4.5. The service was excellent, the drinks are well crafted and the food was outstanding! They have several mezcal drinks that were very delicious. The ceviche appetizer was very fresh, and the Pulpo app was both tender and flavorful. I ordered the short rib mole which melted in my mouth. It’s great to have a restaurant on Peachtree of this caliber. We will be back!

Good South American dining experience

By olivier m |

A restaurant with a pleasant terrace in humid Atlanta. The dishes are generous and carefully prepared. Good choice of wines from the Americas.

Great find on Peachtree. Elegant, upscale, creative and delicious!

Very good service, nice patio

By NEhiker64 |

Had an early dinner on the patio before going to the Fox Theatre. Friendly hostess, friendly and knowledgeable waitress who made excellent suggestions. Caesar salads, grilled octopus, mussels, roasted mushrooms were all nicely presented and well flavored though a bit too salty. Extensive wine a cocktail list.

A Buzzing and Eclectic Experience

By Sebastian M |

Absolutely loved the eclectic buzz El Valle offers. An intimate, yet spacious feel introduced by a sleek modern bar that leaves you looking forward to what the menu has to offer. The staff was very helpful in their recommendations and provided stellar service. My friend and I enjoyed the herb guacamole and grilled smoked octopus as an appetizer and the mushroom stuffed chicken with charred broccolini for entree, all of which I highly recommend. The chicken was savory and just the right amount of thick. If you're a dessert afficionado, then I highly suggest trying the horchata panna cota, which comes with fresh berries, and the deconstructed Mexican s'more. Chef's kiss! Can't wait to visit again soon!

Now , top 3 places for food. Ever. It’s that good

This place took food to the next level . Start with their cocktails - I tried the old fashion with a hint of honey ..limited time cocktail…. The fried grit cake / potato puree … this dish will blow your mind. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside …. The fried branzino was a joy - super fresh fish and the perfect texture . Short rib was also delicious.. They do have sticky toffee pudding for dessert - you know if you know…..
