Burnt food and bad service...

By fpfarric |

I went to this place thinking it was Grace's Kitchen (which used to be there but recently changed to this pizza place). I was greeted promptly at the door, but the was the highlight of our meal. I sat down and as soon as the server came over I told her that my 1 year old was about to walk in the door and I needed something simple for her that I could have to the table right away. I suggested a meatball (she suggested I order a cheese pizza for her...she kept trying to upsell me on things). The server returned a few minutes later with some water and I ordered a starter salad to eat before our meal. My little girl and husband arrived a few minutes later. The server returned to our table to take drink orders (I had been there for 10 minutes....still no meatball for my little one). My husband and I ordered beers and food. We waited another 10 minutes for the meatball to arrive. I want to note, by the way, that the place was not crowded. Not sure why it takes 20 minutes for a premade meatball to hit the table. The meatball was quite spicy...too spicy for a 1 year old. The server never mentioned this. A few minutes after the meatball, our dinner arrived...still hadn't received our starter salad or DRINKS! The manager floated by to see how things were going. He had to get our salad and drinks himself. I ordered a meatball sub and the bread and the meatballs were burnt. I did not ask for a replacement sandwhich because I was pretty much over the place and the server at that point. I will not return and I do not recommend this place. There's a great little Italian place in U Village called Piatti that is always good and has excellent service.

Elemental Pizza

Consistent restaurant. Good salads and pizza. Wait is a little long. Can you believe a Seattle restaurant does NOT serve coffee? My only complaint

Awesome Pizza's and Good for Kids!

By jackiethetripadviser |

The pizza's are wood fire and great. Great for Gluten Free people to. The waiters are usally very nice and the service is good. The pizza the best part about it. They also have very good pasta and salad. It is in a very good location as well.

Wonderful pizza

By Kari M |

We had such a nice time having lunch here. The hostess was very friendly and attentive. She brought an Arnold Palmer with fresh squeezed lemonade and another one with lemonade from the soda dispenser so we could compare the two. We split the Green Goddess pizza and it was fabulous. We anticipated having a slice or two to take home, but ended up eating it all. Will be back for sure-I heard that the Big Chop is outstanding, so that is next on my list!

rushed out in 30 minutes

By Battmother |

Seriously, we had to check our watch. We were made to feel so uncomfortable by our server. We ordered the Big Chop and The Heartbreaker. Big Chop was enough for 2 and was decent. The Heartbreaker was also good but underdone. We are not sure why they were rushing us. It was 5pm with half the restaurant full. With all the great artisan, wood-fired pizza choices now, we probably won't return.

FANTASTIC GLUTEN FREE PIZZA

By GFFoodWineLover |

My HH and I had a delightful dinner. We ordered cocktails in the bar. We were seated before they were made but they just delivered them to our table ~ delicious cocktails. We came since they had gluten free pizza dough. This was the Best Gluten Free Pizza I have ever had!! So many different and fun choices. Our server suggested which one of the two I was considering was better for the gluten free crust which I appreciated. I had the BBQ Pulled Pork which was amazing. My HH had the Carnivorous pizza which he really enjoyed as well. We also liked that you could get just a scoop of delicious Bottega gelato for dessert. The service was wonderful as well.

Another Wood Fired Pizza Place to add to your list

By cuervojose |

Very nice selection of Traditional and what they call "experimental" Pizza. I went for the experimental side and had the Curry chicken, expecting an Indian version, instead was very pleasantly surprised by it's being more of a Thai Curry. Very delicious. The Caesar salad was plenty enough to share with my date. Located in the middle of U Village gives one an opportunity for shopping also.

Awesome Pizza and Gluten Free Options!

By AJW_301003 |

I've been here three times now and I finally decided I had to review it. It's a simple restaurant but I really love their pizza, I think what made the difference to me is their tomato sauce. I don't know what they put in it, but it tastes fresh and delicious! It is a little more pricey than your standard pizza place, which is why this isn't a weekly occurrence, but I think it's still pretty reasonable for the quality you're getting. To give you an idea, there was 5 of us and we got two pizzas, 4 drinks, and an appetizer and it was $60 after tip. The GF pizza had an extra charge, which is standard usually. And I did not mind paying for the GF crust because not only did they have that option but it was also made in house! It's not just some piece of cardboard they bought in the freezer section at QFC. If you're in U Village looking for a quick bite, I would definitely recommend Elemental :)

Good sized personal pizza's

By John G |

You can see them making it. Polite and attentive waitress. The only thing we did not like was how bright it was. Located in University Village which has free parking and a lot of nice shops.

Everyday HH from 3-6

By Joemarie |

Shopping in the rain in UVillage it was nice to find a new HH spot on a Sunday afternoon. I believe HH may only be served at the bar, which is a bit small but it seated 15 or so patrons while we dined there on a Sunday evening. The Seahawks game was on the TVs so we could keep up with the action without the crazy crowds at The Ram. HH prices are very good with full size pizzas for $7-8. Starters of brocollini ($3) and stromboli ($5) were amazing! House wine glasses for $5. A must try while shopping in UVillage. Pizza crust was thin and light, crunchy at the wedges from the wood burning oven but chewy in the middle, like good italian pizza should be! They pride themselves on using local products, so go and support your local vendors.

Wood best pizza

Wood fired oven pizza tasty in elegant modern place I highly recommended it salad is good reasonable price.

Great place for a grey day

By Betsy L |

Spacious dining room-great aromas. Had a delicious, warm, vegetarian sandwich on fresh baked bread. I'm going back for more and will take a friend to try their pizza this weekend.

Open concept pizza restaurant

By MeAgain8 |

I stopped here for lunch on day 2 of UW orientation. Elemental is an upscale pizza restaurant with a small bar and some outdoor seating. I did not order the pizza, however, my Chop Salad was delicious (and large!) Hope to try their pizza some day.

Comfortable location in U Village

By SMan46 |

Got the mushroom, Parmesan and parsley with truffle oil pizza. Paid extra for the gluten free crust. Pizza was oily and crust was chewy.

Very good drinks

By Arthur K |

A buddy & I just stopped here for a drink before an event nearby. I got the bourbon mule and it was a really good drink. I should have asked him how to make it as I would love to make it at home. Be sure to order it when you're here.

Good pizza and sandwich

By pkbrady |

It was a good day to be outside and eat good food. The fire roasted cauliflower, chicken curry pizza, and pulled pork sandwich were excellent.

Perfect spot for a family meal - big portions, tasty pizza and salads.

By Michael W |

Perfect spot for a family meal - big portions, tasty pizza and salads. The salads are giant, the lettuce is really fresh with good dressing. I had a chicken caesar salad sandwich that was excellent, great bread. We had pasta bolognese with nice noodles and juicy meat sauce. The pizza is good. Big, bright room, convenient in U Village, great for a family meal -reasonable prices.

Happy Hour with friends

By Nancy D |

A great spot for an early meal in the bar area, with popular menu choices at Happy Hour prices. The 12" wood oven baked pizzas are tasty and enough for two. You have to be sure and try the coconut gelato ice cream sandwich!

Ilokano and Cavitenā travel

By MARIFE A |

We came just for 2 dine in, after we ordered, my 3 girls came with Aspen my daughter’s dog, As. soon as the server came i asked her if we can transfer outside, As soon as I told her she went talked to her colleagues and no problem at all. Even outside still not ready we were able to get together with my family. I know it’s weekend but I really appreciate their hard work. FYI the Sunday happy only at the bar. And the server also asked my daughter i Aspen wanted to have a water. Again thank you!

Good Pizza, kind of expensive

By patbnnp |

The pizza I ordered was very good, but the salad was better, and I reordered it the next night to accompany the leftover pizza. I tried the ice cream sandwich on the second visit, and really enjoyed it.

yummmmmmm

By Just Vicki |

These pizzas are above and beyond a regular old fast food type pizza! They are grilled and the sauces taste fresh made! The service it top notch too. The only problem is it is small and too loud, I am thinking due to the younger crowd style venue, next to the university. I can't say it is fine dining, but the food is great!

The best

By Boomologist |

Title says it all. Best sauce on wood smoked pizza. Friendly staff. Easy access. Lots of shops close by

Quick lunch

By einstein2 |

We enjoyed the buratta appetizer and split three pizzas: Hawaiian, Proscuitto & Arugula, and Potato. The bean soup wants favorite. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Great place for family dinner

By Marissa N |

We stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner with our 5 year old. We were seated immediately and the host and server were both very kind. We ordered the roasted cauliflower, beet salad, cheese pizza, and pepperoni Stromboli. All were excellent!! This is a great place to stop with kids when you’re shopping at university village.

By DBirch373 |

DELICIOUS gluten-free pizza! We checked with our server and she confirmed that everything is cooked separate if you have celiac/gluten allergy. The pizzas were fresh and a nice size. We left full and had no reaction whatsoever. Highly recommend!

Adequate for a family group

By Leilani N |

Just ate there for a birthday celebration. The adults were able to have a nice, local wine (kudos for that!) and the pizza choices satisfied the teens who were vegetarians as well as the meat eater. Overall, the food was fine, but not outstanding. The service was good and I enjoyed my complimentary birthday gelato. It's fine, but I probably won't go out of my way to go there again soon.

Meatballs, Meatballs, Meatballs!!

By Kristy S |

Try the meatballs! They are HUGE and served with a homemade marinara sauce. That coupled with a caesar salad and you've got a great meal.

Tasty Pizza, Good Options, Casual Atmosphere

By rolsar |

We stopped at Elemental in the U Village for dinner. We had the Green Goddess pizza which was so good. They have plenty of Vegetarian options. Gluten free crust available for an up-charge. We also started with the Burrata which could have been a meal in and of itself. The only thing that could have made it better - 4 slices of bread with the Burrata. There were 2 of us, and they served 3 slices of bread. Otherwise, excellent meal!

Tasty pizza in U-District

By Ronnjonna |

We ate here for a quick lunch on our way to wine tasting. Nice patio and service was polite and prompt. Chop salad was adequate and large enough to share with 4 diners. Shared the personal pizza - the veggie was OK but eggplant and zucchini needed to be pre- grilled to tone down the natural bitterness. Edges of pizza were nicely chared but interior was soggy- too bad because the taste combination with the goat cheese was good. Pepperoni pizza had no complaints from the carnivores among us. Would return.

Will be back!

By Kohn W |

Great service. Really friendly and interested in our wants about seating (table/booth, inside/outside). We ordered the chopped salad [5 stars - as good as any competing chopped salad), the Yukon Gold pizza [3 stars - quite bland, wouldn't order again], and the Pepperoni pizza with spicy honey [4 stars - really good, would order again]. Will definitely go back next time I'm at U Village.

Uneven service, average pizza

By Rhensrude |

We visited on a Tuesday night during happy hour but opted to sit outside with no drinks. You have to sit in the bar for happy hour specials. We sat at a table where the previous patrons must have left before ordering because there were fresh water glasses on the table and place settings. The head waiter (?) didn't know what happened but he removed the glasses and place settings. A second waiter came to take our drink and food order. We both just ordered diet cokes. Mine tasted odd so a third waiter offered to replace it, thinking it may have come from the bar instead of the large soda machine. He also noticed we had no place settings since the first guy took them away. The second waiter also returned with a new diet coke for me. There seemed to be some confusion between the two waiters. The third one brought out the food. My husband ordered a salad and we split a Margherita pizza. I have eaten in this restaurant two other times and did have the pizza at those previous visits. It is ok but doesn't come close to the gold standard of the Palomino restaurant. Neither waiter returned to check on us after our food was delivered. We waited and waited for our check. My husband finally got up to go inside to ask for the check. The waiter was headed out at that point with our tab. My husband gave him the credit card in the bill holder. The second waiter then came to pick it up but not before stopping to chat with a customer/friend about plans for later. After he got that settled, he went inside to process the bill and return it for my husband to sign. We'll try someplace else at U Village next time.

Every Day Happy Hour from 3-6PM

By Joemarie |

Great HH menu. Good wood-fired pizza for happy hour for $7. Draft beers are $3.50. Good quality food, anti paste plate. HH is only in the bar area only and its a pretty small place but great find while shopping.

Nice Location and Decent Pizza

By Tall66 |

First time here stopping in solo for lunch. Ordered a lunch special with a Quattro Formaggi pizza with tomato sauce, fontal, parmesan, pecorino & fresh mozzarella and added a nice Porter to top it off. Really nice crust and the toppings were tasty but the Mozzarella was very chewy and not well melted. Still a good meal and I will be back to try another type of pizza in the future. Friendly and efficient staff as well.

Tasty but noisy

By 69jwjw69 |

We went on a Thursday night and it was busy but the wait was about 20 minutes. Very modern environment with large glass windows, open pizza ovens on display behind an eating bar, a separate bar, and elevated tables as well as regular tables. Small but good selection of beers-we all enjoyed the Manny's, a light ale, I think. Pizzas were Prosciutto & Arugula, and Pulled Pork. Both were very tasty; the crusts were "regular", not thin nor deep. Salads also available, we shared a Caesar and a Caprese. Both tasty but the Caprese mixed the ingredients together in a bowl rather than the traditional Italian presentation. Still very good. Dessert was creative, ice cream sandwiches in which you choose the both the inside, we had Snickerdoodle and Nutella, and the outside cookie. Total before tip for 4 was $92. Would definitely repeat but be aware that the acoustics make conversation almost a shouting match.

Dinner visit

By jentrout |

About 7:00pm on August 4th we sat outside and ordered food. The waitress brought water and disappeared. Three people eventually brought our food. Pizza was good, veggie sandwich was good, but half my vegee plate was empty and my Caesar salad was overdressed. Waitress finally made an appearance and when she filled our three empty water glasses she touched the straw and the rim of the glass. Ew! When we wanted to leave she didn't come to the table for the longest time. Finally we asked for the check and she said "okay" and disappeared again. When we finally did pay, she took the hundred dollar bill and said "thanks". We had to follow our money to the cashier and ask for our change(over $50!) The waitress spoiled the evening. She was clueless!

Great place for a good meal

By Karina T |

We were pretty tired and wanted some comfort food, this was just right, good service, good food and a comfortable place to sit and relax. We shared a great salad and a pizza and both were delicious.

Amazing for kids!

By Rachel I |

We visited Elemental Pizza several times when we lived in Anacortes WA. It is awesome! They give kids pizza dough and flour to play with while you are waiting on your food, which entertains the whole family. Their pizzas are reasonably priced for Seattle, and you can't beat the taste. We love the Yukon potato pizza, and now we even make a similar version at home. Definitely, a great restaurant to stop by while visiting Seattle!

Well crafted pizza in the middle of University Shopping Village

By Mitch_K2012 |

Fun wood fired pizza joint set in the heart of a fun shopping village. Good selection of traditional and experimental toppings. Awesome Yukon gold (potato) pizza, as well as BBQ pork and a 'Carnivorious' with a variety of cured meats. Big salads are tastey and could be shared. It is a bit noisy, but if you expect quiet in a shopping area, that is something you just won't find in Seattle. Three people - two salads, three pizzas, two beers; $70 and the reason this does not rate higher. A bit pricey for a pizza place in a shopping mall.

Fresh Burrata & Tomatoes!

By TXMARTINS |

With fresh focaccia bread, burrata, tomatoes with pesto & balsamic vinegar the fresh burrata appetizer should not be missed. Really fresh salads, crisp pizzas & good service make this a very family friendly restaurant. Tips: Kids dough is available to allow children to play & entertain them while waiting for food!

Tasty food

By Ash0518 |

Great place for pizza , I recommend the margarita and the three cheese pizza ,it taste great plus the burata .and they have great staff

Stopped going, Quality dropped.

By Gary R |

It must be budget cuts. We have been here many times and had great pizza. But, this time the crust was thin and soggy, the cheese thin, the meat barely there, the toppings sparse. Service just Below average. Can no longer recommend this place. Too bad, it used to be good.

Pizza pazazzzzz!

By Jude3147 |

Went to this restaurant in University Village. Wood fired pizza that is fantastic. The crust is perfect and a lot of variety in toppings. They also have a good selection of beers on tap, including Peroni. If you are in the U district, this is a great place to go. Highly recommend.

TWICE IN 1 WEEK

By Contenders |

Stumbled upon their Tacoma restaurant earlier in the week and couldn't stop telling the family how good it was. When I found out there was one in Seattle I had to take them out to experience it themselves. They concurred that it was some of the best pizza ever. We are big Serious Pie fans but this place is better. The pepperoni is fantastic and cooked so it's nice and crispy. The interior is not as nice as Tacoma but it's still nice. You can skip the lines for a table and sit at the "pizza Bar" which was a good spot. Only complaint I have is the staff shouldn't be eating their break meals with the patrons. It's not professional.

Great place

By Asem Y |

I've been there for lunch Food is amazing We tried the wood fire pizza and tasted great Salads are good too The service is great Loved the place

Bad food good marketing

By Prof. SAMIARIAZ |

Awful food, I ask a sandwich and had layers of salami i, my tongue was burning, tou guys can put maybe one layer of a best quality and pit maybe mozzarella to do it better, the meat ball was a ball on an overcooked pasta and something like tomato sauce , awful to see awful to taste, great marketing but the place is the apocalypse of the italian food, Sorry for now is a zero /10

Great Gluten Free Pizza

By Sydney M |

We've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally got the chance to check it out today. The wait was just 5 minutes to get a table and you can get any pizza on the menu with a gluten free crust for an extra $3. I got the pesto pine nut pizza with a GF crust and was pleasantly surprised! The crust was crispy and delicious and the pizza toppings were great! My husband got a pepperoni pizza with a regular crust and loved it too! If you like wood fired pizzas (or just great pizza in general) give this place a try! The prices are decent $14 for a pizza (with 6 slices) and a good selection of salads and appetizers too.

An OK restaurant

By CarloHelmond |

We dropped in for lunch after having done some activities on this day. We were a little disappointed. The chicken in the salad was very dry and a little bit burned. The grapes that came with the mac & cheese, well some of the were past their date and on top of that we received the bill from another table. Won't be coming back here any time soon.

Classy wood fired pizza.

By Richard G |

I went with my father and the service was good. Everything had a wood fired feel to it. I ordered a brocolini starter, which was tasty and well presented. I ordered a standard margherita pizza, and it was good as well. Sweeter sauce then most places, but I enjoyed it. Dessert we ordered the ice cream sandwhich. The gellato was excellent but the cookie was lacking. Overall I would eat there again, and thought highly of the service.

Very tasty

By FrequentWorldTravel1 |

We were drawn to the restaurant by the nice wood burning smell outside. Happened to be Halloween night and we were greeted by a friendly bee waitress. Both our pizzas were very tasty and the service was fast and nice. We will re-visit for sure!

Unique pizza varieties

By Michelle W |

This was a great place to stop and have lunch while shopping in the University Village. Great atmosphere - enjoyed seeing the wood fired pizza ovens and pizza chefs working right behind a glass window. I enjoyed The Green Goddess Pizza - a great mix of basil, spinach and cheeses and my husband's Curry Chicken was excellent as well. Definitely a spot we'd want to hit on a return visit to the area.

Good food but not so great service

By Offthecouch65 |

We have eaten at Elemental Pizza a few times however for this visit it must say the service was no so great. There seemed to be enough wait staff running around but service was really slow. We ordered and asked for just water. The water took forever, the wrong number of waters was initially provided, and we had to ask twice for the right amount. We only got one refill and the waitress spilled the water all over the place while attempting a refill. I have to give the restaurant owner some credit though. He used to be the owner of Blue C Sushi which just closed their doors. He sold the restaurant several years ago. When Blue C Sushi closed their doors the owner of Elemental Pizza offered to accept all Blue C Sushi gift certificates and gift cards (up to a certain amount) for credit at Elemental Pizza. He also offered former employees at Blue C Sushi a free meal at Elemental if they presented their last pay stub. A nice gesture. They do offer a gluten free pizza and non-dairy cheese as an option (at an additional cost).

Came highly recommended and deserved it

By pembridgelane |

Our college-aged goddaughter and her parents recommended this restaurant and they were spot on. Six of us shared four exceptional pizzas and had enough leftovers to send home with the 'starving' UW student. The salads were tasty, creative and plentiful. Our wait staff was attentive, but not intrusive and informative with recommendations. It was easy to carry on conversation which I can't say about a lot of restaurants these days. And the only small child in our group decided to show off her dance moves and earned free desserts for all of us. They were absolutely yummy! When we're back in the area, we will return.

Perfect Lunch Pizza

By TheWaterCloset |

Excellent and comfy pizza restaurant within the University Village area. Friendly staff and good lunch time deals. Plenty of tables, large bar area and sports on large TVs (if thats your thing).

Hit The Spot!

By Joan88 |

Wonderful beet salad, fine pizza, friendly server and not blasting music! What more can one ask for in a nice mall at lunchtime? Oh yes, clean and reasonable too! Outdoor seating as well as indoor!

Quality pizza with a relaxed vibe

By Paul G |

Element fits well between the accessible pizza places for kids and the gourmet options for adults. My kids are able to eat a margarita pizza that suited them yet I got a pulled pork deconstructed pie. The pizzas are all 8" sized; two people can share one. The rocket salad is excellent as well as potato-based. They also have a small range of draught beer selections. Good option for university village.

Sub par service, atmosphere and food

By Leftovers4Lunch |

When we went, it was a warm summer day. The restaurant itself was half full and sweltering. We sat in the bar for Happy Hour and had to ask for our drinks multiple times, the pizzas weren't great - my Margharita pizza had 3 pieces of basil on it and my husbands BBQ pork pizza had hardly any sauce. The crusts were fine, but smoky tasting. Beet salad was good but the amount of bleu cheese on it was laughable.

It's just okay

By flipmixboi |

The pizzas are good but I wasn't too much into the caprese salad or the meat balls. Considering the price I was expecting more flavor from both. Stick with their pizza menu. Good service great atmosphere

Good Pizza with Tasty Sauce

By k_squared2 |

We had lunch here and tried the plain cheese pizza. The sauce is really great, and the crust is pretty good, too. Service was fine. For dessert we had the gelato ice cream sandwich with Nutella gelato. The gelato was creamy, but tasted more like plain chocolate than Nutella. An enjoyable lunch, and we would eat here again.

Wood fire pizza

By Edwin L |

Came here a few times with friends, the place was nice, and the staff could handle with the customers on busy times. The pizza was good, thin and crust. The place good for hanging out with your friends. We would love to come back.

New discovery

By George V |

Nice... Friendly service, and delicious pizza. A good selection of pizzas, sandwiches, salads, etc. our Cesar salad (we ordered the small) was a generous portion and prepared well. So was our pizza. Have to come back to try the meatballs!

Super menu

By vicvolley |

Great Pizza Great salad Great price Great location near u of Washington No coffee only downside Friendly staff Pizza crust good

Not good

By Carly C |

I can't have gluten and was thrilled when I found they carried gluten free crust so I had to try it. Awful! This was the worst pizza I've ever had. It had absolutely no taste and it cost me about $25 for one pizza for me! My friend isn't gluten free and got the regular pizza. He couldn't even eat it! He took 2 bites and was done. The waiter took his pizza off the bill which was really nice; that was the only positive. I don't understand how this place is a PIZZA PLACE. HIghly not recommended.

It's ok.

By Shelly0975 |

Friendly service. Busy place. Raspberry lemonade was the best! Arugula salad was pretty boring, with a dressing that could remove paint! Kale ceaser salad was ok, but the tough kale was in large pieces and the take out didn't have a fork! Pizza was ok as well, but it was really really salty. Over all not incredibly impressed.

Just okay

By Adventure-n-Fun |

The veggie pizza had very few vegetables and was quite disappointing. We rarely eat pizza, and this was to be a treat. Well, it was not. Both of us would not return, and the value is just not there. The outdoor setting is nice, however.

Good pizza & a busy place

By B2843IYbillk |

We were at the Apple store & left a repair that would take an hour, so we decided to have lunch at Elemental. It was on a Tuesday, & they were busy. We sat outside, that was nice. The pizza's were larger that we expected. We ordered 1 Carnivorous & a Truffled mushroom pizza. One would of been fine, so we took a box home. The carnivorous was excellent. The Mushrooms was just OK. It really needed something else, it was just too plain. Service was fine considering they were so busy.

Fun pizza restaurant

By Seattle J |

We went here before a UW Husky basketball game. It was packed with fans! They offer great individual sized pizzas - with vegetarian and meat toppings -with the option for gluten free crust. Service is fast and there is free parking. Busy, fun, family friendly experience.

Good pizza

By dd220786 |

Very good pizzas with fresh produce. Very friendly staff, nice seating. Restaurant located in outside mall.

Lovely Wood Fired Pizza

By deepakgupta5 |

This is a very nice pizza joint located in the University Village. Both the pizzas we ordered were great and so was the salad and the drinks. Only disappointing factor was the craft beer. Overall a great place to go for lunch

Crust Perfection

By M B |

The prosciutto and arugula pizza had incredible flavors and crisp, fresh arugula. The balsamic glaze was amazing. Super friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a return visit.

Hoppin' place on a Friday evening

By Tom R |

We were looking for a fun place to have dinner on what turned out to be a busy Friday evening. The line was out the door, but we were able to grab seats in the bar, which cut the wait time down quite a bit. Then menu definitely has a pizza focus to it, and rightfully so. My pizza was good - nothing outstanding about pepperoni, but the crust was definitely the highlight. Happy hour prices made our dinner a little more reasonable. Otherwise, prices were a little high. Staff was friendly, and the place was packed, so obviously they are doing something right!

Perfect pizza

By Travel_by_air_N |

We were greeted by friendly staff and got seats by the high kitchen table with nice view of the chefs. It was an entertainment of its own to watch them throw the pizzas up in the air. Our pizzas were delicious and you could taste the wooden fire.

Yummy Lunch specials!

By drewsusa |

I love all there salads and there pizzas. Great atmosphere too. Great place to watch people shopping and just strolling! Outdoor seating.

Such terrible service

By Mary M |

Grandma, son and 7 and 5 year old visited for dinner tonight. We ordered pizza for kids and soup and chop salad for adults. Also, two adult beverages. Pizza arrived as well as drinks. Kids were finished with pizza. No soup or salad, yet. Finally, waitress came back and asked if we would like anything else. We told her we still had not received our food. She left, coming back to say she was straightening it out with the kitchen. We ordered two more drinks and again waited. Kids were by now very tired and cranky. Finally soup and salads arrive, but no drinks. About 10 minutes later we see another waitress delivering the same drinks we ordered to another table. My son say to her, "I think those drinks are for us". She was extremely rude, and basically told him she had things handled. When the bill arrived, the print was so light it was barely readable and there was no discount. Then we waited longer. Waitress never came back. We called over gentleman, who was manager. Bunch of excuses, and again said "we will comp some of bill. Bill came back, no comp what so ever. My son paid the $75.00 bill, but we will not be back.

Cold beer , food ok 👌🏻

By Kimmie M |

I enjoy having a beer here and just hanging out . Today the village was busy, sunshine and sales I guess. The beer was cold and the food was so so . A little to much garlic.

Seattle in April 2013

By coloradoclaus |

The best pizza I ever had in North America. What more to say?? The server tried to charge us the whole bottle of wine even my wife had nor more than a glass? Error? Mistake? Intention?

Good pizza

By Simpleguy22 |

Good location near campus. Parking lot was full, had to park far and walk, not an issue. Restaurant was clean. Pizza was good. Good service.

I love wood fired pizza

By dobie397 |

My husband and I were at U Village and decided to try this place and so glad we did. Delicious, almost personal-sized, pizzas. I say almost because they were a little too big to finish in one sitting, which I'll take over not enough any day. We sat in the bar since it was open seating. The only thing was it was a little chilly inside, otherwise I wish I was eating this pizza right now! I will definitely go back.

Great wood fired pizza

By IndianaAllinfan |

we really enjoyed our dinner here; tried a couple of different pizzas and they were both great! Very reminiscent of an Italian pizzeria! Highly recommend!

Green Goddess!!

Greek Goddess - gluten free - very special!! This restaurant offers unique choices and all are excellent!! So many choices in the area - glad we chose this for lunch!!

A Good Crust

By Royce F |

After a basketball game at nearby University of Washington, we wanted a good pizza in a family-friendly atmosphere. This worked. The crust has the bubbles in it like the good old days. Very friendly staff. Will return.

The mushroom pizza was a great recommendation

Went for a late lunch to elemental very personable servers and quick with recommendations. The place was empty at the time- off hours. The mushroom and truffle oil pizza I would have again together with a very nice rocket salad

Liked the pepperoni pizza with the hot honey on top

By NicholeUSA |

3 out of 4 of us really liked the pepperoni pizza with the hot honey sauce. The menu is kind of limited. Service was average. I would recommend going once for the above pizza but not a place we would frequent. I ordered a bacon maple salad with bleu cheese, I didn't care for it.

Good location and fun spot to hang

Happened to come to this place twice in one week since I was in the UVillage area to shop and meet a friend. Both times I was in the bar-I just found it much easier to eat in here vs waiting for a table. The first time I came here with my boyfriend, it was a 30 minute wait around 6 p.m. because there was a UW basketball game. We got lucky with a few seats open at the bar and eventually a few tables opened up in the bar. It was crazy crowded in there but the bartender told us it was because of the game and usually it wasn't that busy. Second time was during a weekday around 1 p.m. no wait. Food is pretty good, not the best in the world but they have lots of option for folks including gluten free, veggy dishes and salads. And of course, pizza! Thin crust and oven roasted hand made fresh, better than average. I had the meatballs on the app menu which was covered in a smoky tomato sauce and sprinkled with cheese. I requested some toasted bread to dip in the sauce. The mozz and chop salad are really well proportioned with the option for a small or dinner size. Service is good in the bar and management is friendly and helpful to the staff. It's a not a destination place but a good place to have lunch/dinner if you are in the area.

Rushed out the door

By Sandy G |

We decided to give Elemental a try for dinner because my husband and I love wood fired pizza. This was just okay, there are definitely better in the Seattle area. The service started out very slow, and they were not busy. Then when we were half way through eating our dinner, the manager came up and asked if we wanted foil or a box for our left overs. At this point we didn't even know if we would have leftovers. Within the next two minutes the waitress drops of the bill and never asks if we would like anything else. Nothing like being made to feel like "here's your hat and coat and get out". And to top it off, they still weren't busy, there were quite a few empty tables. Don't know what their rush was to get us out the door, but we can take the hint and will not be back.

Not Happy with Happy Hour

By EverExplore |

Stopped in for Happy Hour and left unhappy. I didn't think it was possible to make spaghetti taste bad! The meatballs tasted like they were infused with soap. Chef Boyardee from a can has better tasting sauce. The Caesar salad was good but we also ordered a pizza to be served in a to-go box knowing we wouldn't finish. It took so long to be served, we were done our other plates and ended up having to just pay and take it home. On top of that - we were charged full price instead of Happy Hour price simply because the pizza was in a to-go box. The bartender failed to mention this 'rule'. Service was also totally lacking as it seemed to be short-staffed.

Wood-fired Pizza

The wood-fired pizza was great. You can add or take off any toppings to suit your desire. A small salad before the pizza adds to the experience, and is very tasty with their vinegarette dressing.

Food and service were both meh

By Emma M |

It's a cute place, and I love the open kitchen idea. Unfortunately the service was not up to par - we waited 10 mins to even order drinks, and it wasn't busy. I ordered the Yukon Gold pizza, which was incredibly bland. They forgot the balsamic reduction on my friend's prosciutto and arugula pizza. When we paid, she paid on card and I paid cash - when they brought our bills back, they handed me one with someone else's card on it! I had to wave them back down and explain that that wasn't my card, and the server had no idea whose it was. It just felt messy - if it had been a busier time, I would have understood, but the place was less than half full!

Good pizza

Ate there one time for lunch. Had a great beet salad and an elemental pizza. Wood stove pizza. Was great. Service a little slow but overall would go back again.

Great variety, great staff

We ordered for eight and had too much food. Salads were creative and tasty as were the pizzas. Will certainly return. So thankful my Seattle-based friends recommended this restaurant.

Wood Fired Pizza

Nice place for having pizza at U Village , Seattle . Their specialty is freshly prepared , wood fire pizza and we found them to be really good . Service was good and food was served in time . They have many choices of vegetarian pizzas also. Good place.
