Absolutely the biggest rip off in Miami. Mediocre food I highly recommend you avoid this place. A a $350 bill for 3 plates , 4 lemonades and a sangria…No atmosphere at all!! The worst experience that I can say in a long time . Our server seemed like a nice person maybe not for high end serving .. the food runner was rude and unfriendly. Worst of all that the restaurant wasn't half busy so there was no excuse not to provide exceptional service and pay attention to details, like no more desserts at the end of the night!! When you charge these prices serving and food should be over and beyond .. plus 20% of gratuity

Very good food!

The restaurant location on the water as well as the “look” was very inviting so we stopped in for a more formal lunch versus grabbing a bite at a fast food joint. We were not disappointed. The hostess gave us the option of sitting outside or inside at a table or the bar. It was a bit breezy so we sat inside though all the windows/doors were open. Menu’s dropped and drink order taken. Food arrived in a timely manner and the service was good through the whole lunch. The spaghetti pomodoro and the chicken cutlet diavola were both excellent. The chicken was a very large portion. We’d return if we’re in this neighbourhood again.

A taste of Europe in a sunny Miami.

Amazing food. Real 5-star experience. Great atmosphere and even better cocktails. The view and the music gives the perfect combination.

Elia Restaurant Miami: Unprofessional Service and Unequal Treatment

By sol s |

I had a very unpleasant experience at Elia that I feel compelled to share. When I arrived, I requested a table for two near the water from the hostess at the entrance, "Jennifer". She immediately told me there were no available tables, even though the restaurant was only about 20% full, and several empty tables were visible in the second row with a river view. However, when two hosts escorted me to one of those tables, Jennifer quickly intervened and told me I couldn’t sit there—despite the fact that there were no reservation signs on any of them. More than an hour passed, and those tables remained empty. When I politely asked Jennifer to explain the criteria for denying me a table near the water, she refused to provide any reason. When I pointed out that her handling of the situation lacked customer service experience, her response was completely unprofessional and inappropriate: “Of course, I’m 33, not like you.” Being 33 years old is more than enough to have a standard knowledge of courtesy and customer service. Instead of providing an actual explanation or solution, her immature remark made me feel disrespected and unwelcome. What’s most concerning is that her refusal to provide a clear reason raises the question of whether discrimination plays a role in how guests are seated. Other guests were freely given riverfront tables without issue—including a party of two at a four-seat table—while the restaurant remained nearly empty. If you plan to visit this restaurant, be aware that you may be subjected to arbitrary seating decisions and poor service, as I have also seen other reviews mentioning similar complaints. How can a restaurant of this level employ someone so incompetent in customer service? This was a terrible first impression, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. A place that should prioritize a top-notch dining experience instead created a negative and disrespectful atmosphere from the start, ruining the entire evening.

Ahhh-Mazing!

The best spot for weekend brunch in Miami! I swear this place is very underrated (which was probably a plus for me since it wasn’t super crowded like most brunch places in Miami). The food is 10/10 and well decorated along the river so you will have an amazing view while you eat! The pancakes are to die for! They were sooo fluffy and tasty! I can’t wait to return to Miami to have brunch here and even try their dinner menu!

not worth the hype

Elia restaurant has a lot of hype, but unfortunately, the food and service didn’t live up to it. I had an 8:30 reservation, but we weren’t seated until 9:20. It was our anniversary, and the staff completely forgot — thankfully, the manager noticed and apologized, offering two complimentary servings of cheap champagne. For starters, I ordered the meatballs, which were overcooked and tough. For our entrées, I had the chicken Milanese, which was just okay, while my wife’s pappardelle filet tips were tasty but overpriced. I also ordered the loaded truffle mash, but they forgot the truffle entirely. The highlight of the night was the tiramisu easily the best thing we had. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. Between the long wait, average food, and missed details, the experience was a major letdown. I won’t be returning.

The Best date spot in Miami

By Hey Kiki |

if you're thinking about a cute water front date spot - like your neighborhood best date restaurant. We came here with our friends whom we haven't seen in a long while and were super happy with our dinner! Service was great - waitress was super patient in explaining how the ordering works (you order up front where you can see the seafood and veggie selections based on the daily menu), and what was on the menu (super impressive that she knew everything from memory). Food wise - seafood in general were all very fresh and grilled to perfection. The flavors were not super salty and are flavorful enough for you to appreciate the freshness and quality of the raw ingredients. I especially liked the grilled calamari - I am usually not a super big fan of fried calamari, so these grilled ones are awesome. The grilled octopus came next and was very flavorful and tender. For our main seafood, we ordered whole fish with bone - one black sea bass and one brazino - personally I liked the branzino more because it has more fat in the meat, so was softer in texture. I forgot to take a picture of my pizza but it was really good too! Goes really well with the bread on the house. I also really liked the Loukoumades (basically fried dough balls with syrup and cinnamon powder) that we had for dessert. Drinkwise - we ordered a pint (half a bottle) of chardonnay, and it went really well with the seafood. Strongly recommend if you don't have any dietary restrictions. The owner of the restaurant was super nice and patient in explaining the drink selections for us. Definitely looking to come back for another meal soon!

Fantastic food, drinks, service & ambience

I had the best experience at Elia this week. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful view of the marina. The bar is magnificent and the happy hour menu is awesome and very generous. Gabriel is an exceptional bartender and offered attentive and quality service. I loved the cheeseburger and fries with their house made mustard on the side. The happy hour Cabernet was also good. I appreciate the attention to detail that the owner, management and staff put into the ambiance, food and service. I live in SoBe and don’t mind the drive. Thank you to the team for making this such a memorable experience. I look forward to returning to Elia soon!

Loved it! Visited Elia for Thursday Ladies Night, when Robbie Elias was performing. Loved the ambiance, the food and the drinks. Top notch!
