We were a table for 6, had a reservation and got seated immediately. The service was good, the atmosphere pleasant, tablecloths and nice surroundings (the bathrooms are outside though). The food was hit or miss, the soup was terrible, the fried cheese was great, so was the grilled octopus, the gyro was OK, a little tough and too little sauce, the grilled bread they brought in the beginning was OUTSTANDING, the sea bass my husband ordered was blah. The baklava was the perfect ending to dinner. The only big complaint we all had was the wine list, it had ONLY Greek wines and it was VERY expensive. The cheapest bottle was $38 and most were $50. I stayed with sparkling water, but I tasted a Chardonnay my friends ordered and it was too acid. No way would I pay the price of a very nice Bourbon for 4 glasses of wine. Aside from that, we were pleased.

I love this place. They make home cooked style Greek food. All the ingredients are really fresh and it shows. The food is delicious. Heirloom tomatoes in the greek salad are just one example of the quality of the food. The Gyros and Slovaki are both delicious. If you love great Greek food then you need to check out this gem.

I’ve been to Greece, was married to a greek and eaten in many greek restaurants. Elía by far is one of the best greek food restaurant I ever been to. Even though is a small restaurant their food, taste, presentation and service is impecable. I recommend most of their appetizers, salads and fish. Great restaurant for a date or friends and family. 200% recommend it if you love greek food.

We thought that this restaurant would offer some of the Greek specialties that we are familiar with. None were on the menu. (Moussaka, Pasticcio, etc...) Even the lamb was prepared only one way that was not characteristic of the Greek restaurants that we visit. Service was somewhat slow. They forgot the side of vegetables that I ordered (for $8!) Not sure if we paid for it on the group bill. Personally, I felt the food was uninspired.

Service was impeccable. We? Ordered their spanokopita, delicious but could have been hotter. The cocktails were delicious! Our dinner, the steak, so good!!

Everything is so fresh and incredibly delicious! If you want to tastes the best of Greece, look no further than this beautiful restaurant. Food is fantastic and owners are so warm and welcoming. You will be treated like family! My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Hands Down! Ohh and don’t forget desert! The galaktoboureko and baklava are to die for!!!!! This has to be on your list of places to eat while in Las Vegas!

We stayed next door at the Best Western and saw this place and thought why not. I went in to the restaurant after we checked in to our room to inquire about the menu as my wife has some food allergies. The hostess was incredibly kind and between her and a server broke down many choices. The food was absolutely fantastic! I had a bone in rib-eye and my wife had more traditional Greek fare. The steak was exquisitely done and required no additional seasoning whatsoever; I haven’t had a steak that good in years. The lemon potatoes were good too. A little to strong in the lemon flavor but I am sensitive to the flavor. The service was excellent as well. We felt well attended to and the server engaged us in light conversation. Upon our exit, the hostess was waiting at the door to escort us out with a friendly thank you. I definitely recommend!!

Excellent. First time dining here. Very small restaurant with about 12 or so tables. Reservations accepted. Good service, high quality and a nice variety on the menu. We had the Sea Bass baked in salt. Expensive but very good choice. One 3 lb whole fish for 4 of us. Not a lot to eat but it was so good. Meatballs appetizer very good as well as the new phone $20 salad for 4. Clean with good service. Will return.

Had a fabulous late lunch, it was perfection all around and beyond what I expected. I can't recommend this place enough, the food is so delicious and the service is highly attentive. Will definitely be back !

I just ate at both of these restaurants in past 30 days. It isn't close. Don't waste your time contending with Strip traffic and walking miles through a smoky casino and pay $40 for valet before you sit down at your table at Milos. Elia is staffed by former cooks and staff from Milos and they figured out how to serve food that is of equal or better quality that that overpriced corporate themed location at the Venetian. Perfect example is the Milos horiotiki/village salad. Almost 50% more expensive at Milos and its served with two, yes, only 2 Kalamata olives and two paper thin triangles of feta cheese. No such ingredient cheapness at Elia. The fresh fish? Almost 100% more for the same sized levraki/bass at Milos. The difference? The Elia version was more moist, better seasoned and had a small vegetable side on the plate. Similar comparisons for every dish can be made. The service? Elia by a mile. Their staff is friendly , knowledgeable and enjoy taking care of you. Milos has wait staff that just came form some other Strip restaurant who will be gone serving tourists elsewhere if you ever returned there. Bottom line, if you're staying at the Venetian, enjoy Milos. Everyone else should enjoy authentic high quality Greek kouzina at Elia.

We were a party of four doing our monthly ethnic dining. We reserved a table at 6PM because the reviews say it is always crowded. We arrived at 6PM and were the only ones besides the wait staff. Choice of seating, prompt menu and welcome. As the evening went on the place did get close to full by 7:30PM. We had tapas mainly to get a wide variety of Greek foods. All four of us had done extensive travel in Greece. I must say EVERYTHING was wonderful. The wine list is nice and we got advise from the waiter getting a good Greek wine. YES....we will go back, and YES we will make a reservations. We loved the food, kind service and white table cloth dining in this clean slick looking strip mall restaurant on South Durango in Las Vegas

My friends and I have been going here for years, although only carrying out during the pandemic. Wonderful to see genial host Alex in a beautiful new space, if not as cozy as the smallish former one with outside restroom, that was still very popular. Now you can chill at the bar and have a solo gyros plate, or wait for the rest of your party to arrive. This wonderful authentic Greek food, and as Alex patiently explained, true gyros are pork, not lamb. It was his personal touch that kept me coming back, although this may be the best Greek food in Vegas.

A genuine surprise, real Greek food in Vegas, top cheeses dishes followed by a classic Lamb Shish kebab, very enjoyable, washed down with a nice blush pink wine.

Thought it was a bit overpriced ($20 for a greek salad), but it is Vegas. The wait staff was friendly and the food was a mixed bag. The salmon was good. The seabass was great. if I return, I will possibly go for lunch and maybe get something that is more traditional in my mind.

So....if you live on the west side of Las Vegas this is an absolute must!!! Had a 3 course lunch prefix and so satisfied. The ingredients were fresh and top quality. The food is made with TLC and is authentic. The owners/servers are going to guarantee that you get the best service and your dishes will be perfect. The meatballs!!!! So incredibly good that I could eat here everyday if possible. Very impressive! 2 thumbs up!!!!!

Flawless, congenial service from the warm, personal greetings when I entered, to the even warmer goodbyes at the door when I left. And then, there's the food . . . each plate is a work of art, bringing joy to the eye in anticipation of food that brings even more joy to the palate! I'd already heard about the extraordinary tomatoes--so rare in Las Vegas--and they don't disappoint! Do not miss the Galakoboureko for dessert!

Went with a group of friends. The food is authentic Greek. We all enjoyed it. There were 13 of us and the service was amazing! My new favorite place!

very very accomodating, we were in a bit of rush because we had show tickets, but they seated us and served very fast. The food is excellent. after trying to have greek food at the resort we were at and turned away without a reservation twice, or told we had to eat at the bar, or at 10pm, we decided to head out to Elia's taverna. The wine list is extensive and fairly priced. The food is excellent and authentic !. If you are stuck at a hotel and don't want to pay resort fees for overpriced food. call an uber and head over to Elia's you will be glad you did !

The entrance is very unappealing. However once inside they have a delightful ambience! Warmly lit with pretty fixtures. Classy black and white retro pictures. Greek music playing softly. Salmon burger was a perfect lunch portion served with arugula. Noticed that they close between lunch and dinner so check their website for hours.

This is a very small restaurant, in fact, so small, the restrooms are outside the restaurant. The food is ok, service is ok, atmosphere can be a bit noisy if there is a boar at another table (given how small the place is you will hear it). We were treated to such a boar the night we visited. The wait staff is somewhat attentive; but you never get the feeling you are really welcome there (although not rude). I would have given this 4 stars but feel that since it was fairly expensive (about $80 for 2 without alcohol) the downgrade to 3 stars is valid. The food itself was ok as it was freshly prepared but somewhat lacking in flavor (I had to ask for salt & pepper since none was on the table). I also recommend better signage; hard to see from the street. So, Elia is recommended but there are better choices in the area for half the price. Might try it again but not in a rush but will do so on a slower night.

If you have not been here before, you are missing out on a great experience!!! We learned about this restaurant from a friend and gave it a try!! How lucky for us!! We were greeting by our host Alex at the door and seated promptly. It isn't especially big, but is very light and airy. Our server Mark - was very informative about the menu since the food is listed under its Greek name, but has an explanation underneath. Bread was served and we had some before dinner drinks. Everyone seems to pitch in, so the drinks were delivered promptly. We had the octopus appetizer... We are picky about our octopus and it was delicious. Very tender and just the right amount of seasoning. I will not try to remember the Greek names, but my husband had the lamb skewers which came with pita bread, fries, and sauce. More than enough. I had the spaghetti with shrimp and feta cheese. I don't think of spaghetti with feta - but it was delicious. Dessert -- YUM -- it was the 2nd one down on the menu and had to be the best thing I have ever eaten. This is a place that we will go to over and over again. If you haven't been there -- you are missing out -- GO!!!

The location is uninspiring, the decor is uninspiring. They make up for many of the site deficencies with their enthusiasm ! The menu is fairly large and they offer many great appetizers and enters. No dessert menu unfortunately. I had the Octopus and Spinach stuffed put pastry (sorry I forget the Greek name) for appetizers and the 1/2 chicken for my entrée. The chicken was dry and the potatoes undercooked. My accomplice had the Salmon with beets, a much better choice.

Been going to this local gem for a couple years with friends and family. Similar menu to milos at half the price. Everything is delicious.

Ordered mainly off the appetizer menu. Everything was authentic—gigantes like my Greek aunt made, avgolemono soup, calamari, spanakopeda, greek salad—all great. As good as Kokkari in San Francisco. Some of the best food I’ve had in Vegas

We stopped for lunch on Super Bowl Sunday. We ordered olives with Feta, yum. Gigantic beans, also excellent. Then we each got a skewer I had lamb and my husband had pork souvlaki, the tzatzika was great. The pita bread was fresh and tasted great. I would highly recommend this little gem away from the strip.

The menu was rather limited. Salad at $10, lamb chops at $39 , chicken skewers at $18 were on the pricy side. The chicken skewers did not have that grilled flavor. Our friends had oysters and lamb skewers and were fine. The desert were gooey sweet. Small restaurant, attentive service. Las Vegas has many many greek food options and maybe time to try others too

When I was younger and lived on the East Coast, I worked for 3 Greek families who owned restaurants - their homemade meals were tremendous. This restaurant delivers quality Greek food that has the same wonderful tastes and smells and is absolutely delicious! We decided to try Elia on a Friday night about 5:30PM without a reservation, and were graciously welcomed. (Would recommend you go early or make a reservation, as by 6:30PM they were very crowded.) The hosts/ servers were very accommodating in picking out both our wine and meal selections. We were not familiar with Greek wines, and our host's recommendation for a medium red was just the taste we were looking for. We had Spanakopita as an appetizer - which is large enough for two people to split. The taste and texture were fantastic - the spinach and feta melted in your mouth, and the crust was tasty and did not fall apart into a million pieces. For our entrees we choose the baked Half Chicken with Lemon Roasted Potatoes( a special for the night), and the Tsipoura ( a fish similar to Red Snapper) with dandelion greens, EVO, and lemon. Both were superb - the Chicken was flavorful and the Tsipoura - graciously filleted by our host as my deboning skills are lacking - was moist and delicious and melted in your mouth. Entrees range in price from about $16 to $30. Although we were full at this point, we asked what they recommended for dessert. They recommended Galakoboureko, which we tried and loved. ( I have always ordered Baklava at a Greek restaurant, but never again!!) It was phyllo pastry with semolina custard, and a honey syrup over the top. Out of this world - We will definitely be back here - love the smaller venue and personalized service. You can tell the hosts / servers truly want you to enjoy both your time spent at Elia and the delicious authentic food.

I have spent a lot of vacation in the Greek islands and I felt as there. Great product everything tasting really good. I'll be back there for sure

I wasn't a big fan of Greek food until my step father and mother brought me to Elia. They are Vegas locals so know all the hidden away gems in the area. I was skeptical of the Tzatziki (greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic) as a appetizer, but sold after the first bite. The grilled octopus was out of this world and enjoyed my Lavraki (Mediterranean sea-bass). We finished the meal with the best Baklava. Seating is limited, but they keep the place immaculate. We got there early and by the time we left every table was taken. Highly recommend if in the mood for Greek food.

Great authentic Greek food, very fresh. Delicious menu away from the strip in Summerlin. The service is amazing & fun atmosphere.

Just before Christmas we brought some family visiting from out of town to what is becoming our favorite restaurant. It was our third visit and everyone was very pleased. I can't wait to return.

All I can say is that this is the best Greek food we have ever had anywhere. Everything was delicious and fresh. Loved the saganaki, the salad, meatballs, roast feta. Galaktoboureko was amazing. Service was top notch. Cant wait to return.

The one and only true greek food and an authentic greek gourmet experience in all Nevada. Only for those who really have a good taste...

We have been to the old location on Durango. Early on this was the spot to go for Greek families and now is more for upscale yuppy . Gone are the white table cloths, and there is no attempt at a Greek decore other than having the building next door painted blue and white. Service was friendly and hash house speed....were they looking for fast turnovers. We were a party of two and booked a day ahead. The place was PACKED....mostly friends of Alex who he made a point to greet and kiss (COVID anyone?). We were not on that list, and ignored by all except our servers. Who cares. From sit down to the ten minute mark we had received our hello, our menu, our wine/cocktail/ and the four apps we ordered. We wanted a tapas meal leisurely served. We were told all items like that had to be delivered. I guess I did not see Sisolak pass that law. So, we had a table overflowing with items. They did bring our shared souvlaki later. And, when we ordered our baklava we had a n 18 minute wait. The Spanakopita is $12. you get a massive spinach pie which is very unappealing to look at, and even worse to eat. They did take that off our bill. the Greek meat balls (mystery meat is something you get in bulk at Smiths) was $10. Well, it came out steaming but cooled rapidly as we tried to gup down all of our apps as soon as possible. The Scallops were not as pictured....looked like poached quarter inch slices of the scallop in a green sauce. at $16. it was our favorite, but only by default. We did have the Souvlaki...pork was suggested and it was dry but could go down with a heaping helping of the white sauce. The French Fried potatoes with this were really good.. this dish was $15. We ordered the baklava and waited a long time for a massive four inch square which was made (and my wife makes a great baklava) cheaply and needed way more layers of filo dough. HINT....the patio is really nice and much quieter. Make your reservation for the patio til November, but they may have winter heaters....they were not there yet. In doors looks like an old 1995 restaurant.....no attempt at Greek decore. But is clean and NOISY (that is not the fault of Elia.) . $110.00 for not much.

Don’t let this small minimally decorated restaurant deceive you. Our dinner was one of the best I’ve ever had! (Milo’s quality for half the price!). The calamari was perfect. Not chewy with the flavors of the squid coming thru. Seared sea bream was amazing.

We met some friends at Elia's after it was recommended by a third party. It did not disappoint. It only has a few tables and we were greeted by a tall, handsome, man dressed like he just walked off the boat from Greece. Yes, of course I found out later he is the owner, Alex. His eyes were as blue as the waters that surround Santorini. But looks aside, let's talk about the food. I told this man that I would try the Spanakopita and that would be the true test to see if I would come back. All the food we ordered came prepared well, looked good on the plate and had great flavor. The meat of the Lamb Souvlaki was not overcooked and the dressing on the Horiatiki Salad was a perfect blend. The Shrimp Saganaki was excellent and the shrimp were moist and flavorful. The Gyro meat had great flavor. It was slightly overcooked, but I actually liked it better that way. It was not the traditional meat you would expect sliced off a large stand up rack, or maybe it was it just didn't seem that way. Alex recommended a delicious Greek wine to go with the meal. He was spot on. But I thought the price per glass was a bit pricey. At the end of the meal he came over. I asked him if he was the owner and he said he was, I told him the Spanakopita was delicious and I would be back. If there was water around us and some strung lights hanging from a tree I would have thought I was in Greece. You must go - this is a great find.

This small, table clothed restaurant was packed on Friday night and we witnessed least 2 parties being turned away. Fortunately, I had secured an OpenTable reservation well in advance so we were escorted to our table by the owner. Though there was a large family gathering, the service throughout our meal never skipped a beat. We received a basket of grilled bread along with EVOO. Next came an order of horta, greens with EVOO, that was quite fresh though I could not tell you what greens were used. My wife ordered what turned out to be the best farm raised salmon dish she has ever experienced. My Colorado lamb chops were cooked to medium rare as requested and accompanied by lemon potatoes. The lamb had none of the funky flavor associated with Australian lamb and proved to be tender as could be. Will we be back? You can bet your sweet bippy on it.

My friend’s birthday was wonderful. We had lovely & fun time. The food was delicious & the service was great. The staff took care of all our needs & made it the evening very special.

Authentic delicious Greek Restaurant in Las Vegas. We had grilled Octopus, Greek Salad, Beet Salad, and Fried Zuchini. All were delicious. Impeccable Service. Wine and Beer available. A high end restaurant

Good food and excellent service! First time for an octopus appetizer! Pleasant dining area and furnishing. Very good dining.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. You are greeted not by a host or waiter but by the owners. A great start and it just gets better from then on. Every plate is beautifully presented and each mouthful is full of the fresh flavors that you expect from true Greek food. The ingredients are obviously of the highest quality and very fresh. There is a wonderful Greek Wine and Beer list to compliment the fantastic food. For a quick bite to a long lingering dining experience, this is the place to be. I recommend Elia 100%.

Is it unreasonable to expect a properly chilled white wine to be served before your appetizers arrive ?..Our waiter recommend a Greek wine..after two of the three apps arrived, the wine was opened and offer to taste...it was room temperature..it was taken to the "BACK" to be chilled..the third app was served ..still no wine..called for the owner..he offered no assurances..finally the same bottle was placed in a side wine bucket...a distance away from the table..it was slightly chilled but not enough to pour....the fired zucchini and greek salad was good..the octopus overpriced...the main course was served by the bus boy not the waiter, he did not know which patron ordered which dish ...they try to get MILOS concept...they know the concept...but don't execute the concept except for the pricing....the owner was aloof and not concerned that this waiter was extremely unaware of priorities ..it is a shame..they could have better results

This was our second visit to this popular and fairly upscale Greek restaurant and our experience was not nearly as good as the first. We shared an order of horta that was proved to be at least as good as remembered. For entrees we each choose the lamb souvlaki entree that included tzatziki sauce, pita, fried potatoes, ladolemono, tomato and pickled red onion. Though the lamb was ordered medium rare, it was overcooked and tough while our server proved to be less than attentive. On the plus side, the fried potatoes were perfectly seasoned, crisp and delicious so little, actually none, was left on the plate. A return visit is up for debate.

I knew this place would be good when my Greek friend and Vegas local took me here. Everything we had was great - from the octopus to the spanakopita to the gyro to the dessert and everything else in between. And its off the strip so thats a huge benefit.

Honestly, this is one of the best greek restaurants that we have had the pleasure of dining. Nestled in a strip of shops off Durango in Summerlin, this cozy restaurant was amazing. We were seated in a corner table as requested. The service was attentive and on point. The highlight is the food. The greek salad (horiatiki) is large and packed with fresh tasty tomatoes. The fried zucchini chips were thin and light served with homemade tzatziki. The calamari was lightly battered and tender. The chicken souvlaki was tender and the potatoes were cravable. The wine list was small and appropriate. Can not wait to go back and try many of the other dishes. Amazing.

Absolutely delicious and authentic Greek food. Don't let the simple decor and small space allow you to prejudge. My VERY Greek boyfriend (born and raised near Athens) and I have been to this restaurant twice and we are never disappointed. Calamari, octopus, fried zucchini chips with tzatsiki and fried cheese are staples and some of our favorites. We think the quality of the food is well worth the price.

We love everything Greek and this restaurant is the real deal. They have a great greek wine list including wines from a winery we visited while in Greece. It is a small, very clean place...so make a booking for dinner. The feta cheese dip was delicious as was the fried zucchini. So many things to try...we will be back soon. Oh...and the server/owner was as nice as could be.

It’s our favorite go-to restaurant. Simple foods, simple menu. Always fresh and delicious. Fast and friendly service. Like a Milos, but a casual version. A+ for value.

What a wonderful small intimate Greek experience. I have had Greek food in Chicago but that does not compare to the taste of this establishment . The restaurant is small but can be very intimate for couples. From the greeting when you walk in to the linen table clothes and candles on each table the taste of authentic Greek food will keep you coming back. I went for lunch and ordered a greek salad. It came with warm bread accompanied with olive oil for dipping. My salad was of good portion which I took 1/2 to go. What flavor blends of dressing mixed with fresh veggies and Kalamata olives. And of course can not leave out the 2 large chunks of Feta Cheese. I can't wait to go back for dinner.

Authentic Greek food at it's best. We made reservations for 4 persons and were greeted at the door with a warm welcome. We started with the octopus grilled and roasted organic beets that was laying in a mound of dandelion Greens called Horta. I was transported back to my Greek roots the minute I ate the beets and Horta. Horta being a staple dish in my house growing up....my mother would go into the fields and pick the most delicious greens for us. I had the Tspoura (grilled sea bass) that was cooked to perfection and my other half had the Colorado lamb chops that were fabulous. Our friends had the roasted chicken with potatoes and her husband had a pasta with shrimp dish. I am so looking forward to returning to this fine restaurant. The service was perfect as well as the atmosphere. If I could give it more stars I would. ps. don't skip dessert...it is delicious no matter how full you are.

The fresh fish was amazing along with the meatballs and roasted Feta. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a taste of Greece in the Desert.

Hands down better than any over priced Strip place. We had tomato and beet salads for table to share - ingredients super fresh and the highlight. Nothing drowned in a sauce or dressing. Then a white fish as a main - nice and light. Service was good. Absolutely will return!

Step in the Door or Elia and you are welcomed by ALEX the Owner with a smile, no waiting to start your Greek Dinning Experience. I would let ALEX know your taste, than Just sit back and enjoy the wonderful Wine & Food. My Friends and I had a Table for Six, Appetizers, Salads & Entrees along with very good greek wines red & wine. The LAVRAKI (fish dish) was the best and Alex's wine pairing was the hit of the party. Make reservations on elialv.com. Its a great place, i will be back...

The multiple familiar Greek dishes that we tried were all delicious and fresh though ever so slightly lacked a bit of luster. We tried the tzatsiki, fried Greek cheese, Greek salad, grilled octopus and grilled sea bass. The Greek wines were of decent quality and went well with the food. While simplistic, the dining room was clean and comfortable and the service was efficient. We enjoyed dining at this neighborhood taverna and look forward to returning.

Business lunch in a small setting replete with linen appointed tables and napkins. The zucchini appetizer stole the show followed by lamb chops with Greek lemon potatoes and a Gyro between the two of us.All so savory! Will return for sure.
We were very disappointed.
The food was only so-so and Dimitri, The Greek, said it was not authentic, not even the potatoes. The spanakopita was like mush--not at all flaky. Too bad.
