Elsewhere was great for our family with 4 kids ages 2-8. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and there was plenty of seating (all outdoor) The on street parking was available. The swing seats lookin at the river and bridge were ideal and the kids loved the slide. There were so many cute places to sit and great for a big group like ours. You can order drinks through a QR code at your table (they are pricey) And you order your food at a food truck type window. They text you when it’s ready. We all loved the pretzels and sandwiches. The chicken tenders were actually some of the best I’ve had. Very tender with light crispy batter. We had kids with allergies and they were very helpful at looking at ingredients with me and helping me choose items for the kids. There are clean bathrooms. Lots of spots for millennials who like to take selfies haha! We will be back.

Our family was just walking in the outskirts of the Riverwalk and stumbled onto this place. Not fancy at all, but very welding and enjoyable. Lots of beer choices and some good appetizers…Philly Cheesesteak Fries. They have swings and hammocks to relax on as well as corn hole boards to enjoy. Simply, a fun and inviting place to have a drink and to enjoy some peace and relaxation.

Unique concept! Great location! All outdoor seating. Drinks are primarily canned - beer and hard seltzers. No sit down bar - go to window and order drinks. Relaxed environment with good house music in the background. Did not eat but food looked good. Nice change of pace from the chain bar/restaurant dominated area of the Riverwalk.

Great location and vibe, fully outdoors and overlooks the river walk. Not as crowded as some of the other rivers all facing bars and restaurants. Drinks were decent and the food was above average. I would recommend for a relaxed evening but not a fancy one. Staff was very friendly.

This was a perfect spot for fantastic food with a relaxing patio overlooking the river. My husband had the Derek's Texas Philly and I had the Garden Philly. Both were awesome!

This was a fun place to get a bite to eat and a drink or two. Large outdoor area overlooking the riverwalk, sprinkled with Picnic tables, chairs even porch swings. The food menu was small. I had a hamburger. It was huge and done right but lacked any real flavor. My daughter had the cauliflower wings which she also said was lacking flavor, but the Brussels sprouts we ordered were really good. They have cornhole, giant connect 4 games and trivia as well as some board games. A very pleasant way to spend an evening.

This place has a chill vibe! Adult slide, large board games, river view, swings, and fire blowers. They provide hookah, amazing drinks (be care of the riverwalk drink lol) the Parmesan fries are chefs kiss.

Nice spaced out tables outside (so important during COVID times), good food, great craft beer selection and a place for the kiddos to hang out too. This placed used to be called The Luxury. I drank a beer called the “High Wheeled Betty” apparently it’s a German Kölsch but I just though it was crisp, light and good.

This place is cool. It's all outside with tables, swings, and other forms of seating. We got a two person swing right on the Riverwalk. We could order right from our phone and have the drinks delivered. We didn't order food but the food we saw looked delicious. Check this place out if you are looking for a different type of bar experience.

Elsewhere is one of the go-to places to have a late lunch or early dinner. This sits right on the river and is an amazing place to unwind with friends. While the location and decorations may appeal to the trendy Insta crowd, it is also fun for the older beer snob crowd (me). Enjoy a drink, grab a snack or enjoy the Hooka’s they have available. Fun for the big and little kids.

Whimsical all outdoor place with a variety of fun photo ops & seating options. Like 2 person swings, long tables & sep smaller tables. It’s along the river and near the art museum. All spaced far apart. There’s a food truck/kitchen with a variety of quick bites & canned sodas. The bar is odd- looks like a window into a food truck. When we were there late on a Thurs eve the line was daunting. It looked like here was just 1 (maybe 2?) bartenders. We didn’t see waitresses. The food was good but we gave up on waiting online for a drink.

I really enjoyed the scenery of this place and it had great vibes. I went on my first night in San Antonio, and met some nice people. There was a trapezius? (I think that’s the term) and also fire sticks. I had a good strawberry frozen margarita and then later in the night I ordered a Philly cheesesteak. Would def go back!

San Antonio has dozens of great spots for food and beer and this is up there as one of the best. Really cool atmosphere with plenty of seating and good food and drink selection.

We got off the river shuttle to check out the VFW, but unfortunately it was closed so we walked over to Elsewhere. It was Mother's Day and the place was quite crowded. I ordered a cold can of red wine which was surprisingly nice. They have complimentary water which is nice. A band was getting ready to play when we left to meet the shuttle back to downtown. The place appears to be a younger crowd kind of place, not for retired folks like us.

Fun place with a great beer menu. We went to this place twice during our stay to have a drink and sit outside. It's a short walk from The Pearl and is far less pricey. They allow children until 8 pm so it can be it bit noisy early in the evening.

Was hesitant to try this place because the reviews aren’t great but I’m so glad we did. You walk up to get your beer/drink and then find a place to sit. We were there on a Saturday evening around 7pm and there was a good crowd but we easily found seating. They have a great selection of beers and the atmosphere was so fun, good music. Wish we could have stayed all night.

Very cool place along the river. Nice shade from the sun. Come drink ,eat and drink some more. The employees are attentive. Definitely a cool local hangout away from tourists.

Fun bar with off the wall great drinks. Swing seats that face Rivetwalk a mile from PEARL . Funky garden decor sand floors.Friendly people, seems like a lot of locals. Can't say much for the organ player but it was the middle of the week. I heard they have much better entertainment on weekends

The environment was very welcoming. Some generous strangers allowed my girlfriend and I to eat at their table. I enjoyed my first PB&J burger, which I've never heard of. Definitely would recommend it. The only downside is no dark liquor based drinks. Despite that, they still had a great vodka mixed drink recommended by the cashier. I never assumed combining a dog park w/ a bar next to a beautiful outdoor setting would blend so smoothly, but I was impressed. Maybe I can "walk my dog" more often.

I’ve never been treated so bad in a restaurant, it seems that shouting to the customers “that they open at 16:00” is really normal for the person that was behind the counter when at 15:20 me and my friends were just trying to figure out how’s the menu

Stumbled across this place along river walk and wow it was fabulous. I was a bit dubious when I entered but we stayed all night. Food is basic but really good and quite quick. Definitely recommend if you like a lively party vibe
Fun, friendly atmosphere
The food was amazing. There was a lot of photo opportunities for our family selfies. It is located right along the river, there was flexible seatings, board games, dogs were welcomed. The Margarita was amazing!! They have a very large craft beer selection.
