I've been to Emerald Line several times and it is indeed a "hidden gem" Jacqueline and staff are efficient and friendly, the food is inspired, flavorful and not too heavy. Drinks, coffee, music... all make for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Inside/outside seating. Great place.

We stopped for lunch with our daughter in law. Building is quirky like many Portland places but owners have dressed it up with lots of plants. It is a order at the check out place and they bring you your food. Service was good, people friendly and food good. In NW Portland one of the best things about it was free parking which is an oddity in that town. I’d go there again especially taking advantage of the parking.

Loved absolutely everything about this place: decor, ambiance, food, and exceptionally friendly service. An easy neighborhood favorite.

We’ve walked by this place many times but never went in. Our loss. It’s your ideal Italian bistro. A great array of pasta dishes. A nicely selected wine list. Cheerful and helpful staff. And a warm atmosphere. Don’t miss the meat balks. We will definitely be back.

My friend took us here, it was soooo good we went back again the next day! The drinks were spectacular, food exquisite, service sublime. Home made pasta excellent salads. Can't wait to go back next visit to Portland.

There are certain places in Portland, Oregon that lie under the radar, but which truly deserve your attention and patronage. Emerald Line is one of them. The place a large and open. The owners, Jaq and Jonah are a great couple to host you and who serve up inventive and tasty dishes that are both new and comforting. Jaq's hospitality is infectious. I love the food they prepare and the spirit it is delivered. It has become one of my favorite go-to spots. I recommend that you do yourself a favor and check them out.

We're currently visiting WA & OR. And My Fiancee Found Like Quaint Little Spot Called Emerald Line. I Got the Emerald Bowl which included roasted chicken,chimmichurrie Sauce, corn, black beans, rice & Fresh avocado with a side of salsa. Its Definitely an EXPLOSION OF FLAVOR. Im so happy I decided to try something new. My Fiancee got the grilled cheese with bacon and home-made tomato soup sooo delicious perfect crunch with every bite. The soup is perfectly balanced. The staff here is super accommodating & friendly! Its a must try!
