Great food and nice service

Very tasty food, and awesome service. We were in a hurry because of a show the same night, and they kept us on pace. The food was delicious and well recommended by the waiter.

Birthday Dinner at Emeril's

By Nickie E |

Emeril's is elegant, their staff and the food exceeded my expectations. I've never had scallops so tender and delicious. I recommend the deviled eggs and the cornbread.

Outstanding service, pricey, average food.

By greattravelswanted |

I have watched Emeril since the 90s on TV and had an opportunity to try one of his restaurants on this trip. I had high expectations i know, but I was really dissapointed. We had shrimp cocktail, gumbo, clam chowder, sea bass, another fish entree, 2 desserts and coffee. The gumbo was delicious, the house rice that came with the sea bass was delicious. Everything else was just OK. Small portions. The lemon cheesecake tasted nothing like lemon. The praline cake was not impressive. What was amazing, was the service. It was hands down the best we received on our whole trip. But the service doesn't make up for the food quality and taste. We tried a variety or things- our bill was just over $200. I don't think Emeril would be impressed with these meals either. Cannot recommend when there are so many other restaurants within walking distance with better food and prices.

Perfection as Always

By Sue C. |

My husband and I always try to stop at Emeril’s at least once whenever we visit Las Vegas. On this trip we decided to have a late lunch so we sat at the bar. The food was excellent the drinks were perfect. We have never had a bad experience at Emeril’s. Ash was the bartender along with George. My husband had some scotch whiskey. I had the Lychee Coco TINI and a blue Hawaiian. For our lunch we had the Bruschetta and the crabcake.

As a fan of Emeril, I was excited to finally try one of his restaurants. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the waiter, and it felt like we were entering a fine dining establishment. However, the experience didn’t quite live up to that impression. It felt more like an imitation of fine dining, and the overall vibe was a bit off. We started with water and ordered an Old Fashioned made with Woodford Reserve, but it didn’t taste like Woodford at all. At $35, this drink was a major disappointment. Additionally, charging $9 for a bottle of Fiji water felt outrageous—the bill simply listed it as "1 bottle of still." The one small crab cake we ordered was good, but at $30, it wasn’t worth it. The octopus was flavorful, though not the most tender. Unfortunately, the Salmon Caesar salad was inedible due to a strong fishy taste, which we ended up sending back. On a positive note, the glacier sea bass was delicious—perfectly cooked and complemented by a lovely sauce. Overall, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Wonderful all around

By CJG76 |

This food was delicious! Most of the menu was gluten free, so I had a lot of options which is so rare to find. The waiters were knowledgeable and attentive as well. The best food choice we made the entire trip!

Great food

I was able to use my MGM pearl card and was able to eat $200 worth of food which was not a lot here but the food was excellent and the service was great

Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at the MGM

By Gabriel C |

First of All, I would like to acknowledge ( Rob and V.J. ) because they were amazing host to begin with. Rob was able to advise the best Glacier Sea Base from an Arctic and for my girlfriend, the Cedar-wood Salmon that was amazing and thanks for the great Chef. This place is amazing and located in the MGM Grand Hotel….I highly recommend the Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at the MGM Las Vegas

Tasty!

By mrk4th |

Though we are not huge seafood fans, everything we tried was delicious, from the jambalaya to the chicken (those potato croquettes!). Service was excellent. This will be a place we return to.

Lovely meal In Emeril’s

By Keith L |

We had a really lovely meal in Emeril’s very tasty fresh food and excellent service and a great atmosphere. I would happily recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous meal!

By Dell O |

Located in the MGM hotel's food court, this dinner was one of the highlights of our trip! Scallop appetizers were delicious! The seafood tower for 2 was over the top! Chilean Sea Bass, Blackened Ahi, Grits - all was fabulous! And then to top it off - the Banana Cream Pie was divine! Highly recommend! Drinks and wine were amazing!

BAM!

By Louie G |

Emeril "BAM" Lagasse is one of my favorite chefs. My friend has never eaten Cajun, Creole (New Orleans) food so I brought him here. The cornbread with the various fixings was very interesting and explosive. I really enjoyed the Shrimp Jambalaya. The banana cake was very interesting and it is made with a lot of bananas. I definitely have to come back and try the other things...

Fancy dinner

By Kswett |

Made reservations after a long windy day of walking. It was well worth the wait. Upon sitting you get the house cornbread which was delicious. The husband ordered the sampler 4 course meal on the menu and I ordered the surf and turf. I’m not exaggerating when I say this but the surf and turf was to die for. Cooked to perfection! The sauce and garlic creamy potatoes...mouthwatering. Our waiter was the absolute best. The only thing I regret was not having time to change before dinner. (No dress code however)

Started as a 5 ended as a 4 🫤

We wanted to go somewhere special on one of the nights we were in Las Begas and were at a business conference during the day. We planned for a Wednesday night at 6:45pm to go to Emeril’s in the MGM Grand. The servers and waiters greeted us and gave us their attentions. We ordered our drinks and appetizers based on their suggestions which were fantastic. For the appetizer we ordered the shrimp. Then they took our dinner orders and we asked for the Hawaiian Ahi and blue crab with hollandaise sauce and asparagus. It was delicious! The service was great until the restaurant started getting really busy and every seat was full. Then, we became invisible!!! No more drinks served, we weren’t checked on, we asked for a desert 4 times and by the time we got it we didn’t even want it anymore. We waited a longer to for the check. The evening started to wonderfully pleasant and we left a bit disappointed. Staff and servers were great but they didn’t follow a system once they became extremely busy.

Great Dining Experience

By martin a |

Excellent food and service. Seated at our table we were greeted by Andrew. He was very polite and friendly. He guided us through our meal, not to rush the experience. His recommendations were excellent. We had the Crab Cake and Shrimp Cocktail for an appetizer. Our main course was the Surf and Turf. And for dessert we had the Banana Cream Pie. All excellent choices. They also have an excellent bourbon selection. A few things were not on the list but just ask and they might have it. We will definitely eat here again. I can whole heartedly recommend this place.

Excellent All Around

By jamesaI3832SQ |

We had reservations at 5. They opened promptly and immediately began service. The wait staff is very professional and helpful. Each dish—even the free bread was exceptional. We got the smoked Old Fashions. They were excellent but pricey—$35. I love Sea Bass and the Sea Bass here was prepared perfectly. The broiled oysters were amazing. I can easily recommend this spot. The decor is beautiful. I even tipped more than usual because the service was great.

Good food with excellent service

By phvi2617 |

I've always wanted to visit one of Emeril's restaurants, and ended up stopping in for lunch on a recent trip to Vegas. I had a bowl of gumbo and a crab cake, along with some fantastic dinner rolls. The gumbo tasted alright, but the consistency was a bit too slimy for my taste (perhaps the okra was a little overcooked). On the other hand, the crab cake was amazing! Service at the bar was exceptional, and the atmosphere was very nice and classy. The gumbo aside, I'd be interested to try other items on the menu. It's certainly not a cheap meal, but it's worth a try if you can splurge.

Outstanding Tasting Meal

By Sue C. |

My husband and I had the 4 course tasting menu while dining at Emeril‘s. We each had the Fuji apple salad to start. The next course was an excellent fish & the 3rd course was a flat iron steak. The final course was homemade cobbler which was outstanding.

Great Anniversary Dinner!!

By Larry M |

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We’ve eaten at several of Emeril’s restaurants over the years and this one didn’t disappoint us at all. The servers work in teams so you’re well taken care of. Meal was excellent as well as the dessert. A real good time. Would definitely eat there again.

Great seafood

By Amanda B |

Cajun good at its best. The spices, the seafood, the ambiance, the service - all top notched. The gumbo was really a hit with my table. A wonderful experience

Excellent!

By stevek1042 |

Excellent food & service! Can’t go wrong with this place. The barbecue shrimp appetizer is great. Also, the Hawaiian Ahi with crab is an amazing main course. Friendly service to top it off!

Girls trip

By LCRHRN |

All I can say is wow - peach sangria, Chilean sea bass, banana cream pie best I’ve ever eaten. Steaks 100% perfect, every little thing was great. Service amazing!

Almost everything was great!!

By traveleagle86 |

I fell in love with Cajun and Creole cuisine after living in Louisiana for 3 years! So I was excited to try Emerils restaurant which seems to be the only restaurant on the strip that features authentic New Orleans cultural cuisine. We ordered half the menu Lol. Gumbo- 3 stars for the consistency, meats and texture. Took off two stars due to lack of seasoning and spice. Mac and cheese- creamy and very cheesy 5 stars Crab cakes- 4 stars took off a star due to being fried instead of broiled Carolina gold crab rice- 5 stars absolutely amazing!! Salmon- 5 stars moist, flaky and so flavorful!! Creole Shrimp Remoulade- 5 stars the dressing was delicious! New Orleans BBQ Shrimp- 5 stars rich and savory sauce was amazing. The biscuit that came with it was the best biscuit I have ever had. We ordered this twice for the biscuit!! Banana Creme pie- 5 stars rich, decadent and sweet with fresh slices Bananas in every bite! Melon Limoncello cocktail- 10 stars!! Just the right amount of liquor, lime and lemon juice. This drink was exquisite and tastefully crafted. I love Emeril the chef and this restsurant did NOT disappoint. The pricing was very reasonable and the ambiance was wonderful!

YUM!!!!! enough said!!!

By Martit624 |

Service was great. The specialty drinks were amazing. The food Exceptional. The special the night we were there was surf and turf which consisted of a ribeye steak and fried lobster. we decided to try it being that we hadn't ever had fried lobster emeril's steak sauce is just enough to bring out the flavor of the steak and not overwhelm it. But the fried lobster was the star it was lightly breaded fried golden brown and had a sweet buttery flavor loved every bite!

Joel rocks!!!

By 229jayk |

Joel at the bar was amazing! Great to talk to. Very accommodating and hospitable. Thanks for adding to my birthday weekend experience!

Delicious

By Sarah C |

The jambalaya was great and the Ahi tuna was the best I've ever had. I can't wait to come back and try another item off the menu.

Typical Emeril excellence

By Durwood N |

We thoroughly enjoyed the meal here. Since we had been there a long time before, they still remembered that it was near my birthday, and that they knew our anniversary. On top of that, their service was superb. Oh yeah...the food was marvelous. Fish, shrimp, scallops, et al. Very well prepared. Definitely recommend.

One of the best meals EVER

By Scott |

The crab cakes cooked to perfection, oysters cold and paired w perfect sauce, BBQ prawns explosive w/ flavor and the best Ahi Oscar I've ever had. Smoked margaritas & Blue Hawaiian cocktails were superb and excellent service. Worth every penny!!

As advertised

Enjoyed my first experience at the famous Emeril’s. It was Ash Wednesday and my guest and I both have seafood chowder and salad. Food was exquisitely prepared and was delicious. Service was attentive, impeccable but a little slow out of the kitchen.

Perfect in every way

By dlevitan |

Truly great food and service. In a town with endless possibilities for dining, Emeril's New Orleans Fish House once again stood head and shoulders above the competition.

Bravo!

By Deric B |

Exceptional Service! Food was superb! A great fine dining experience! We have went twice and both times were fantastic. This is how all experiences should be!

Go Here!!!

By lvcindyh |

A really cool environment and great location. Food is just so good and so is the service. Say hi to Raphael and Sergio. Two awesome bartenders!!!

Loved the waiter and the food

By Truth H |

Loved the waiter and the food. The hosts were also awesome. Only complaints are: 1) The MGM front desk had no clue what Emeril's was and no clue where it was. We spent a long time wandering around MGM trying to find this restaurant. 2) Too smokey in the casino - my throat hurt by the time I came to the restaurant. Can't ever eat here again despite the wonderful food and waiters. 3) Emeril's should cut ties with Open Table as Open Table spammed us no less than 4 times after dining. This is wrong.

Great Seafood

By Michael C |

Great seafood and good service. Friends had the AHI and I had the surf and turf. Everything was spot on.

Delicious seafood

By fast72 |

Ate dinner here and tried the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The shrimp remoulade salad had excellent flavor. The second course was a piri piri- pasta in chili oil with assorted seafood and andouille sausage. That was also very tasty. The third course was a flatiron steak served with bell peppers which was tough and not cooked to my liking. The dessert was a bananas foster and was just the right portion. The staff was very friendly and I liked the lighting. I will try Emeril's again next time I'm in Vegas- I just will stick to seafood only.

Emeril’s was amazing!

By TerrasTravels |

Woooooh! This place was so good I had things I had never heard of or tried! We started with the Emeril’s New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp (sauce was so amazing!) and the Creole Seared Hawaiian Ahi Oscar Style with Jumbo lump Blue crabmeat, tempura asparagus, with an amazing sauce (smoked Bordelaise and Bearnaise) which was so good! Omg I want another one! I’ve had banana cream pie before, but our waiter, Mike and Anthony who were superb by the way, said that Emeril’s was to die for and people buy it by bunches all the time and that it is what they were known for so of course we had to try it. Let me tell you, he did not steer us wrong, that was the best banana anything I’ve ever had and I don’t really eat a lot of bananas! So thank you! It was so good! Ambiance and wine rack very pretty as well:)! Make a reservation:)

Manage the server and you’ll enjoy the food

By 5Good_Travellers |

Having never been I appreciate the highlights of the menu but what we received was an overwhelming amount of pushy service by one server in particular. The upsell was incredible and the amount of time interrupting was more than professional. Unfortunately that is my takeaway rather than a good, solid meal. Going forward I will find the words sooner to any aggressive waitstaff to “give us space”. I hope you can do that as well.

Emeril’s Great Food

By Robert C |

While waiting to see a show we decided to dine at this restaurant. It was truly a wonderful experience with excellent service and food to match. You will spend some money for the experience but it is well worth it.

Exceptional Dining Experience!

Wow! The food...delicious! The service....Ask for Michael and you will be amazed! Great food, beautiful restaurant, excellent service! We'll go back!

A celebration of seafood with a distinct Louisiana flair

By Lise W |

We returned with our family over Christmas week after we thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Emeril’s. The cook on their fresh fish is perfect, which their seasoning and sauces enhance. The double bone-in pork chops, also cooked perfectly, are a favorite with my husband. He likes to add scallops for a unique surf-and-turf. The service is attentive. I am particularly fond of their special holiday menus, and will be looking forward to them in the coming years. Highly recommend.

Perfect couples dinner

By Paul C |

Outstanding service from everyone - hostess, waiter, busboy the whole team worked flawlessly together. The food was everything you would expect of a top class restaurant, with a heavy bias to fish and New Orleans: perfect!

OMG… Fabulous!

By Kind Traveler |

We had fabulous service and amazing food! Best BBQ Shrimp! The Jambalaya was yummy with perfectly cooked shrimp. The Waygu Beef and Lobster Tail was delicious. Michael was a delightful server, engaging and knowledgeable. We would go back in a heartbeat!

A star studded meal

By Ellen N |

A relatively quiet spot, and was not crowded the day we visited. Service is attentive and wonderful. Cocktail of smoke maple margaritas was unique with black sea salt- maple flavor was very light note on the back end. We both started with soup -- full crem based Chilean sea bass melted in my mouth. Hubby had to try the famous jambalaya-- holds up the the reputation. Would definitely recommend!

At the beginning of this current “Celebrity Chef” era there were few names on Emeril Lagasse’s level, and although the Massachusetts native who made his name cooking in Louisiana has slowly faded from television his two Las Vegas Restaurants remain popular destinations with Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House now pushing thirty years old inside the MGM Grand. A survivor amidst shutters and re-brands it was promptly at 6:00pm that three guests sat down inside the elegant space, General Manager Tyler Anderson saying hello on a busy evening thanks to an event at the Grand Garden Arena just down the way. Offering excellent customer service across two hours, Wine and Cocktails including an Espresso Martini arriving quickly, it was following an Amuse from Chef Ken Lum that dinner got rolling, two piping hot skillets of Cornbread conquering the willpower of any within arm’s reach while Fall River Clam Chowder upgraded the New England original with Bacon and Leeks. Less bold than pre-Pandemic, when Frog Legs and Hushpuppies with Caviar were commonplace, fans know that when Emeril is serving Pork Chops the outcome is bound to be good and the same can be said for Chef Lum’s Jumbalaya and creamy Grits. Not forgetting Pasta extruded on-site, nor crispy Potatoes with a mix of spices, any meal at Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House should most certainly include Bread and Butter Pudding plus a slice (or two) of Banana Cream Pie.

Good but slipped a bit

By Durwood N |

Emeril is always known for his quality food with a New Orleans twist. This venue is very good in that endeavor. The gumbo and clam chowder were sublime, the oysters were good if small for the price. The snapper needed salt and the shrimp were very good. This was enjoyable, but not his best effort for the price. Vinny was an excellent server.

A Fantastic Experience

By Scott M |

I started watching Emeril on TV in the 90's and the main reason I started cooking, not professionally but as a hobby. I have never eaten in one of his restaurants however and sorry it took me so long to do so. The food is off the chart, and staff very friendly and helpful. This is going to be a regular place for me and my wife from now on when we are in town. If you are in Las Vegas you will enjoy the experience

Good and Bad

By jehenson81 |

I swung by Emeril’s Fish House for lunch after a tour to Hoover Dam. They had a few patrons in there as it was a little late for lunch. I opted to sit at the bar and was well taken care of by the bartender. I knew what I wanted and ordered the king crab grilled cheese. It was more panini than grilled cheese but was jam packed full of crab and cheese. It was a great sandwich until I bit into a piece of shell/bone. At the end of my meal, the bartender took my plate and bill to see the manager. My meal was comped but I did tip the bartender because it wasn’t his fault. So know that the staff will take care of you at Emerils.

Great food as expected from Emeril!

By rwkchang |

This place was delicious. Loved the decorations and the tile floors with little fish designs in them. I had the jambalaya and the macaroni and cheese side, both of which were to die for. The jambalaya had a lot of huge shrimp in it and the mac and cheese was perfect with the smoked gouda added in. Would definitely eat here again.

Great Apps!

By TravelChill55 |

We had a fun dinner for 4. The entrees seemed a little spendy but the appetizers seemed like a great deal. So we got several appetizers to share for the table and they were all outstanding. The wine list was very reasonable so we had a bottle with dinner and even had a second bottle to-go! That's one of the great things about Vegas--you can take a glass of good wine with you anywhere!

Delicious food but didn't care much for the atmosphere

By ScottRoby |

I've been to a couple of Emeril's in the past and I love the food. The food and service did not disappoint. What I was perhaps disappointed in was the way the restaurant was designed and set up. It did not remind me of atmosphere I had experienced in New Orleans but from the outside reminded me more of a mall restaurant and it is located in an area of the MGM kind of like a mall. That said, the food and service is what matters most and we had a great experience. As others have mentioned, it is not cheap but it is still worth it.

Delicious plank cooked salmon

By Jo D |

Nice atmosphere, great service, but be prepared for the bill. Everything is al la carte and the cocktails are very expensive. All the food was quite good, gumbo was delicious and flavorable as well as the deviled eggs. The piece of salmon was relatively small, but the flavors couldn’t be beat. The Mac and cheese was so tasty but rich and could easily have been shared with 3 to 4 people. We really wanted to stay for their popular banana cream pie but we were too full and not in a position to take it home. Would return and try other menu items for sure .

Christmas Dinner

By Mike |

It was tough to pick a restaurant for Christmas, but we've always had good luck at Emeril restaurants. We ordered two appetizers, 5 different main courses, and two desserts and every dish was excellent. The menu was risky with three children; the kids got to experience some new dishes which, while complex, were all crowd pleasers. Everyone was happy and it was a rare experience where we could have all switched meals and been pleased. Strangely, the desserts took a very long time to come out and we were rushed because of the upcoming Ka show. Without our making a complaint the manager comped the desserts which was not necessary but we appreciated the gesture. I can't say how many times I go out for dinner and could have stayed home for a better meal but this was not the case and I appreciate that. BTW, the Sea Bass was superb. If I had a criticism it would be the size of the entrees, which were a bit small as we were quite famished. With the apps and desserts we all left satiated but we would have left hungry if we had just ordered entrees. Also, I was happy to be seated in the back for a more intimate experience--the front tables are a bit like eating at a mall due to the exposure. Thank you to Emeril's staff for being there for us on Christmas. We appreciate you being there for our family and your sacrifice of your own family time for our behalf.

Oridnary food; abhorant service.

By PaHaB70 |

Food was generally bland and unimaginative. One dish came with a "be careful, the dish is very hot" warning; yet, the waiter was holding the plate with his bare hands and showed no sign of discomforted. When tasted, the food was barely room temperature. When the primary waiter arrived just before we finished our meals, he did his best to make sure that we knew that it was all our fault. We ordered meals with different prep times so of course one would come hot and one not. "Creole style" doesn't mean that it will have a Creole taste; if we wanted the meal to have Creole spices, we should have asked for that. If we wanted the shrimp to be tender, then we should have said so and they would have delivered the lobster tail under done -- after all shrimp are smaller than lobster so only one can be done right.

The Chef Had Left the Building!

By Donald B |

With a high profile name comes high expectations and sadly this signature restaurant of Chef Emeril has dropped some of the standards it was founded upon. The service team kept forgetting seat numbers and auctioning food off at the table….bad form for a level of this status. The entrees sat on a tray for 14 minutes before they were brought to the table. The server seems disorganized and forgot to preset new silverware which cause more lag before the food arrived. Once it did arrive…the impact of sitting on a tray with a plate cover were apparent. Sea bass was dry and cold. Fried Chicken was crispy on the outside and dry in the middle. The pork chop was also disappointing. The saving grace was the mac-n-cheese side dish. Dirty plates piled on the table and it was hard to get refills on water. Sad that a once great restaurant has succumbed to mediocrity.

Perfect Coffee and Desserts

By nicolebH9050XQ |

My son said he needed a chocolate fix. We didn’t have much time before having to head for the airport so I quickly looked up best desserts in Las Vegas and found an article that mentioned this restaurant’s banana cream pie. Knowing that it was just downstairs in our resort I decided to go there and hope they had a chocolate dessert option. They did! I ordered the banana cream pie and shared it with my mom. My son ordered the Dark Chocolate Mousse. We polished them off. I would have licked the plate but managed to control myself. Also. I had pretty much given up on good coffee the entire trip until I came to this restaurant. Great coffee!!! GREAT COFFEE. So glad we finished off our trip here. The servers and hostesses were also wonderful.

More than a name!!

By Frisco6 |

More than a typical 'Vegas' name joint. Outstanding food and clearly competent and well-informed wait staff make it an experience worth navigating through a casino to find it!

So good we ate there twice!

By katbee33 |

We were sseing a show at MGM and the restaurant we had chosen was closed for a private event. So, despite the fact that we usually avoid “celebrity” places or chains, we decided to give Emeril’s a try. Wow, we are so pleased we did. In fact, several nights later, we returned with our business associates and they were equally happy. Service was outstanding, menu choices are quite varied and the seafood dishes were superb. Also, their cocktails were amazing. Nice to find a place that knows how to make a proper Sazerac and Vieux Carre! On our second visit, our server was happy to accommodate some dietary restrictions as well.

Amazing meal, well worth the money and walk

By Lotzofun |

We were not starving, but wanted quality light fare. We stopped for dinner before a show and had the gumbo, lobster bisque, a wedge salad and the butter cake with praline sauce for desert. We both chose the berry 75 specialty drink and it was amazing. It is a French 75 with blackberry liquor and a very fresh blackberry on top. It was refreshing, crisp and fulfilling. Both soups were amazing and super tasty, 100% endorse these for everybody. The presentation was stellar, both came out with the bowls prepared for the soup and the soup came in a stainless pot from the kitchen and was poured into the bowl in front of both of us. We planned to split the salad, so the staff prepared the salad on 2 plates. The salad was extremely fresh with creole ranch dressing, apple cured bacon, heirloom carrots, broccolini, watermelon radish and point reyes blue cheese. Again highly recommend the wedge salad, it was one of the best wedge salads I have had in years. For desert we chose the butter cake with praline sauce on top. The cake had crispy edges and crust while soft and moist inside. The taste was amazing, especially with the praline sauce. We both immediately tried to look up the recipe. We enjoyed the wait staff of Rob and Walter, they were attentive while not being intrusive. I cannot recommend these gentlemen more, they made a great meal memorable.

Not worth it if you are looking for a nice or special meal.

By Maddy M |

Stay away if you are looking for something special. First, for being a 'fish house' there were only a few fish dishes on the menu! Second, for being 'New Orleans' there were not many meals served that style. So there's that. The place was pretty empty which should have told us something. We had a small issue and the manager's reaction was idiotic; the general manager came over and made matters even more ridiculous so we cancelled our order and left. If you want the gory details it is just so silly. Two of us ordered rum and coke, my friend specified diet coke. My drink looked and tasted like ice water. The waiter thought the coke machine was malfunctioning. I asked for the coke and shot of rum to be served separately to ensure I was actually getting a shot of rum this time. The waiter asked if I wanted the rum 'with ice' and I said no, thinking I was going to pour it into the coke which had ice. Both came without ice.....So I asked the manager for ice. Another friend had received a large block of ice instead of small cubes so I suggested getting one of those to make things easier. Instead of offering to take the drink off the tab (which I would have said is not necessary) the manager told me the piece of ice would cost me $1.00. LOL! Thinking that was bizarre, I told her I wanted it for free and she argued with me about it. We were all dumbfounded. The GM came over and tried to convince us that diet coke is dark but regular coke is very light and that there had been nothing wrong with my drink. Huh? At that point we were concerned about what we'd be served and since nothing on the menu was especially appealing anyway we cancelled our orders and left. So for what it's worth, our excitement about a great meal before KA was a lousy experience. Oh, the manager informed us that he couldn't stop us from leaving a bad review once we left the restaurant..... LOL.

Disappointed by this location

By Brent H |

This is the third of Emeril’s restaurants I’ve been to, and it was not what I’ve come to expect from his establishments. Management comp’d several items without our asking or complaining because they recognized the issues with service and food, which is the only reason this is three stars vs two. I work in hospitality and know good service is spotty during COVID, but the food was the low spot. Believe Emeril would be embarrassed by what we were served. I looked forward to dining here and was very disappointed by the experience.

Superb service, good food, not cheap!

By Brad R |

Very attentive wait staff. Broiled oysters were very good, but not quite as good as Dragos. Jambalaya was decent but seasoning was mild by Cajun standards. Poke bowl is Cajun? Would go for the service and experience, but know the price is pretty steep and the modified the taste for Las Vegas.

Good solid choice for yummy food

By Disneyfreak67 |

The food was delicious and I left satisfied. I would definitely eat here again but would probably order different things to try. We had the Ahi Tuna special. It was good but not as good as ordering it when in Hawaii. We also shared the crab cake which wasn’t really shareable, it was small for the $30 price tag. But it was excellent. Finally we did a side dish of Grits which was YUMMY. For dessert we had the banana cream pie. For drinks we had the strawberry lemon vodka, It was perfect because not too overly sweet. The service was awesome. Dishes cleared immediately, waiter was friendly and helpful with menu choices. Dinner also came with rolls. Definitely coming back.

Amazing Food & Variety

By Alexandra H |

Stayed in Vegas for a work conference and one evening my colleagues and I decided to come to Emeril's for dinner. None of us had seen the menu prior to coming, but our entire party of 6 were able to find something we would love. I had the Spanish octopus a la plancha as my appetizer. It was amazing. Very fresh and the smoky flavor (a la plancha) was delicious. Because we were celebrating my birthday, they provided us all with a smoked salmon crudité. Such a yummy bite. For my entrée, I ordered the Creole Seared Hawaiian Ahi Oscar Style. I like my tuna medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. To accompany my meal, I ordered the half bottle of Laurent-Perrier, La Cuvée. It paired nicely with the octopus and ahi tuna. At the end of the meal, the staff brought me a dessert of brownie and ice cream, which is one of my favorite desserts. Overall, everyone said they enjoyed their meals. Speaking for myself, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would absolutely return.

Best food, service and value in Vegas

We have eaten here on a couple of occasions and again ate there twice on our last visit in June. The food is alway spectacular. We like sitting at the bar and chatting with the staff. They are always very polite and engaging. Every place in Vegas is extremely overpriced but we really felt that the cost for the food and drinks was worth here. My husband ordered a craft cocktail that was so delicious I asked the bartender for the recipe and he gave it to me! When we walked in two evening later he remembered us and asked my husband if he wanted the same drink. I call that attention to detail.

Emeril's LV

By LoveTravel |

This is a great place in Las Vegs in the MGM. Service is always impeccable and the food is scrumptious! Never had anything but fish here and each one has been so tasty and beautifully presented. Upscale restaurant that is fine dining but not too outrageously priced. Reservations only,.

Done to Perfection

By drewling1 |

The food was delicious. I had grilled Parmesan oysters and a shrimp remoulad salad. Both were done to perfection! I'm looking forward to coming back here the next time I'm in Las Vegas

Excellent service, excellent food

By Kate O |

I cannot praise the service here highly enough. Whilst perhaps expensive, I truly enjoyed our experience here purely due to the staff - the right amount of chat vs professionalism, from waiters to bus boys. The food was great as well (recommend the tasting menu). But again, the shining stars were the staff and I noticed they treated everyone with the same politeness and courtesy. Thank you!

Good good, but not great

By mikeyboy_esq |

My wife and I dined here during a recent LV trip and both thought our food was just okay (not as good as we expected, especially for the price). I had jumbalaya and she had salmon. The gumbo was just so-so. Desserts were good though. The service was excellent.

Very pleasant evening with good food and service

By Jan_from_Atlanta |

We came to Vegas for Bruno Mars show and took our granddaughter here for her 25th birthday. We were promptly seated, the vibe is nice, and the food and service were very good. Recommend.

Didn't feel great and BAM felt better!!!

By Joe K |

Wasn't feeling great and we went to Emeril's. Used to be a big fan. I have to say, I felt a lot better after eating the crab saffron pasta. Good menu choices and everything we had was great. Our service was spectacular!

Amazing Experience!

By JL M |

I highly recommend Emeril's. The hostess was able to seat me immediately without a reservation (at the bar). The wait staff was extremely fast and attentive. The food took awhile but I can look past that since it was such a good time. I ordered the tour ($85.00) with wine pairing ($35) and it was worth the $120.00 price tag. It included three glass of wine and the following: Shrimp Remoulade Salmon Spaghetti Flat Iron Steak Bread Pudding My only compliant was that the salmon skin was not crispy enough and the bread pudding did not have enough custard or a whisky sauce. They put whip cream on top!!! Seriously, no whisky sauce on bread pudding should be subject to revocation of your NOLA heritage card and a butt kicking! Overall, it was an awesome meal/experience.

Good meal at MGM

By Joe B |

Looking a relatively quick meal before a show. Got a salad on the “specials” menu and a bowl of gumbo. The end bill was about $40, which is a little steep but what isn’t in Vegas. I’d recommend - the rest of the dinners looked great too.

Mediocre dinner experience

By Stacy Strickland |

In a city with so many great restaurants, you typically can't go wrong... unfortunately, our visit to this fish house was the wrong decision. Our food lacked flavor - including the spice that Emeril is known for. Service was okay... although we were charged $1 for an ice cube and asked at the end of our meal if the food was okay. Oh, and neither of us was asked if we wanted another drink until dessert. Speaking of dessert, the pecan pie (which was really a tart) was the best dish. Deviled eggs - no seasoning Chilean Sea bass - fish was good, but sauce was basically melted butter Jambalaya - while covered with a great amount of crab ( which cost extra and had no flavor), it was missing the "Bam!" And the andouille sausage

A mixed bag

By Oliver S |

I have never been in any of his seafood places, so I was curious. It’s located in the MGM Grand and the place is large, dark and cavernous. There weren’t many customers, so it came as a surprise that we had to wait for service. Prices were high enough to warrant superior service, which we did not get. Four of us on the table, one person delcared his runa “the best meal I ever had” (after a second try, the first came cold already and needed to be returned). Two people claimed their whole shared branzino mediocre and one person did not like the food at all. Wine list nothing to brag about but plenty of cocktail choices if you are unhappy with the wines. So, there you have it, I don’t think I’ll be going back there. **

Good ... but need to take out a small loan to eat here

By OhioLW |

The food is very good, but expect to drop a minimum of $50 for an Entrée + tip + drink at this place. You are paying for the name on the restaurant. Went with friends and had a good time, but just don't expect to eat cheap here

Amazing meal, Amazing staff

By CO_sugarbear |

We visited Emeril’s for a birthday celebration. The staff made our visit very special. I had the tasting menu special with a ribeye steak. The meal was absolutely amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. Each course outdid the last. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

A place to revisit. We have been here before and it is a must go when we are in Las Vegas. Excellent service , food.

By T D |

Attention to the customer was great. Food was outstanding and presented well, wait staff made this a great experience.

Delicious!

By Global Gal |

I had the tasting menu. It was mind blowing! I enjoyed the scallop pasta. The steak was amazing. I wish there was an Emeril’s in SLC, Cajun food is my favorite. Spicy French food is the best!

Wonderful restaurant, relaxed not stuffy atmosphere

By Pamela S |

Excellent service from Mario and Carl. Food was tasty and perfectly prepared. We enjoyed the Surf and Turf with steak and lobster. Brussel sprouts with bacon were so delicious I would've eaten so much more. Flavors were perfectly balanced. The recommended cabernet to go with dinner was wonderfully smooth. Mario kept are wine glasses filled. We didn't have reservations but they were happy to seat us unlike another Japanese restaurant who wouldn't even assist us since we didn't have reservations. If I am back in town, I would definitely go back.

Awful

By Colleen W |

Over priced and food quality was poor. Management was complacent as was wait staff. I asked for a glass of house chardonnay and was charged 30.00 for a short pour. Nothing like his restaurants in New Orleans, which I was a fan of.

A good choice for nice meal

By Lynn P |

The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. A good selection of New Orleans style food and wine. Never disappointed when we come into town.

Did not disappoint...

By Tammy K |

You often go to the famous chefs restaurant to be disappointed. That will not happen here. Las Vegas is know for it’s Steakhouses. Also there was an abundance of seafood buffets. The only two buffets with seafood are at Caesars and the Wynn. I couldn’t get into BACCHANAL BUFFET at Caesars palace. So I made a reservation at Emeril’s. I had oysters (raw) and Halibut, it was very tasty and perfectly cooked!

Always satisfied!

By vimatravel |

You will eat well. Good menu options with a few specials to choose from. We have never been disappointed at any Emeril’s restaurant . Don’t leave without indulging in the BEST banana cream pie you will ever eat! Nice ambiance with great service.

Great place for lunch staff

Wonderful restaurant! With fresh oysters, very well prepared. Excellent quality food. Very tasty. The price is very affordable! I highly recommend it!

Expensive, small portions, many better options in Vegas

By MLMRocksTravel |

With shows being dark, we decided to eat in a gourmet restaurant every day. We saved Emeril's for the last night, thinking it would be the best based on our prior experiences at his Orlando restaurants. We were mistaken, we all agreed it was our least favorite. The one high spot was our server John. He was outstanding, but the food, quantity and prices were underwhelming. We started with the famous barbeque shrimp. 4 shrimp, one tiny biscuit and a delicious homemade bourbon based bbq sauce was good, but we expected more for $18. Hubby had the jambalaya. 2 shrimp on a tiny skillet of rice...and had a weird taste....not really spicy but not good. I had the lobster mac & cheese. A small dish of soggy noodles with a white cheese sauce and 3 very small pieces of lobster on top. Wow...my favorite competitor in town has the same dish at the same price and it is simply outstanding. Firm pasta with wonderful cheddar cheese sauce and pieces of lobster blended in the dish plus a whole claw on top. The dessert was ok but not better than we can get anyplace, but 4 times the cost. We enjoyed every restaurant but this one. We felt it was a waste of an evening out with one of the higher bills. We understand he is closing some of his restaurants, and with the food here (especially compared to the other options in town), we can see why. Absolutely no décor that separates it from the rest of the pack. We recommend other celebrity chef's in town.

4 Course Wine Pairing Amazing

By aggieobr |

Our friends made dinner reservations for 4 at 5pm for wine pairing in the kitchen. So, we were late (taxi service struggling), and left too quick for show, but the hour and a half we had was amazing! Sparkling Rose in a flute with a chilled citrusy, melon salad. Then, as I remember, a chardonnay, pinot noir, and a chianti! Paired with Scallops, spaghetti and T-bone respectively! Complemented with a tray of desert offerings. An absolutely fabulous dining experience! Will definitely do this one again!

Business Reception Scores

By David |

Excellent service and food during a business reception, especially a shrimp appetizer. The restaurant staff also moved the crowded area well to allow servers to circulate with food and drink.

Not that great

By Dukester1985 |

Had 4 nice dinners last week in Vegas, and this was a easy the 4th. I love seafood, and I love Cajun. Emeril has the name. How could it not be great? I'll start off with the one great. The Tuna Tar Tar was the best I had ever had. My wife and I both loved the appetizer! First of all I hate how most of the Mlife restaurants just seem like an extension of the walk ways. They have no ambiance. People across from us were drunk and causing a scene. Another table left. We endured. My wife said they should of somehow discounted our bill. She was probably right. The one thing we got was Manager coming by to ask if we were ok - which we could tell was due to the drunk table. I tried the Gumbo – Shrimp, Okra & Andouille Sausage appetizer - it was a little below average. The waiter said they are known for their barbecue shrimp appetizer, so we tried it. We did not find it very good. I got the Creole Seafood Boil entree, which is the norm for me for places that offer similar. There was hardly anything in it, and it had little, if any, taste. I'd give it a 2 on a scale of 1-10. My wife got the jambalaya which was a small bowl with 3 shrimp on top of fried rice. She said it was not very good. Our waiter was awesome. Very friendly with timely and offered quality service. Couple Hundred for that? Disappointed.......

Great Food. Great Service!

By Joe W |

Entertained a group of 8. Michael, our server, was terrific. He was very attentive and engaging. Food was very good. Highly recommend it

Great food and atmosphere

By Nick W |

Found this restaurant at MGM Grand - simply fantastic. Great food, fresh, full of taste and flavour and FUN. Staff superb, really aware of their food and very helpful. Great wine list and staff were able to advise best wines to have with our choices. it was so good we went back a few days later and tried different dishes- all were brilliant. Just oozing with vibrancy, flavour and class. Very highly recommended - big shout out to Mike Jones (GM) and his staff for such a great experience.

A little disappointed!

By Jo V |

I was very excited to hear as an Emeril fan however I must say the food and service was meh. Our service was not the best. Our server didn’t explain anything on the menu or even give us a drink menu. After we asked for one I did enjoy the Coco Tini. The BBQ shrimp and deviled eggs I recommend. I had the Hawaiian Ono and felt is was flavorless. It was cooked right but didn’t have much flavor. Overall I give it a 3 stars.

Great Wait Staff

By hrgeek |

Think outside the box while looking at the menu - while my husband ordered the spaghetti with blue crab, which he found tasteless, I ordered off the sides menu and had a wonderful salad and the BEST mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was large enough for both of us and turned the meal around for the husband. Joe was our waiter and was kind enough to adjust the bill to reflect the disappointing blue crab meal. And we were able to walk up to be seated in the bar with enough time to get to the show KA.

DISAPPOINTING AND MEDIOCRE DINING EXPERIENCE

By Jdgtex |

It was our first night here and we looked forward to a nice meal at Emerils. It was very disappointing. The food was overpriced and not that flavorful, and the wine was also not a good value. The service was adequate, but we left feeling like we had paid to much for a mediocre dining experience.

Shrimp at the airport

By Kristin O |

Great lunch in the airport. There were so many shrimp there was no way I could pick it up like a sandwich It comes with fries but I substituted Cole slaw which was very tasty

Emeril’s will meet high expectations.

By John W |

From being greeted to leaving, staff was unbelievably pleasant and accommodating. We had the pleasure of Rob and VJ as servers. Lots of recommendations who helped to guide us into the the experience we sought. The kitchen was spot on. The pork chop was the best I ever had. Just a win win combination.

Watch your bill

By Lori H |

We were seared at a two top along a banquette. Two other couples (strangers) were seated at the tables next to us. We ordered, received our meal. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. The couples at the other two tables left. We were presented for a bill for all 3 tables. Rather than take their meals off, we had to pay for all of it. $512. What the heck? It seems like it would have been easy to just run another ticket with our order on it. These people know they have a tourist crowd, and don’t want or expect return customers. We won’t return. But, no one should eat there.

Lovely restaurant with great service

By Holzfrog |

We had a nice dinner here with Michael as our waiter who was really lovely! We started with the cornbread and then had the salmon and tuna & crab mains. The mains were beautifully presented but lacked flavour and required additional seasoning. Otherwise we had a perfect meal.

Amazing!!!

By capricorn7697 |

Came to this restaurant for my birthday. It was amazing!!! The staff are all absolutely fantastic and the food was outstanding. I had oysters to start and they were fabulous. I had a ribeye as my main course and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and the seasoning was outstanding. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Quick dinner stop

By Gossamer007 |

I was able to walk up and get an immediate seat at the bar, needing a quick meal before going to the hockey game. Bar tender was friendly and provided quick service. The Chilean Sea Bass and Mac and cheese were excellent (Mac and cheese is definitely a two-person side item). Not the fanciest restaurant in MGM but was a good meal and I would definitely consider going here again.

Shocked!!

By Diane H |

Very nice restaurant and waiter was ok,,not outstanding ( he kept water glasses filled) At the menu prices, our party of 6 had super high expectations ( we ALMOST left after we got a menu and saw those killer prices) Our orders were taken in about 10 minutes,,then drinks came after 20 minutes- now this was a Monday night, 5 pm) After an HOUR our soup arrived, cool and watery. My husband had ordered a pork chop and it was cooked in sausage grease apparently, and was at least 35% fat. The side of 3-4 slices of Granny Smith apple was tasteless, except for the sausage grease.( I do much better at home - yes it’s a seafood place, but for the $45, a chop should taste like a pork chop!! Others ordered the Salmon,,which, again, I could do better at home! What a disappointment!! The banana cream pie was nothing special, but looked pretty on the plate. Bananas baked in old fashioned custard pie that wasn’t even sweet?? We had water to drink,,it was kept refilled!! Sorry Emerile,, the owner needs to be in the shop on a Monday night!

Great experience!

By Rosi M |

The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! The waiters were very attentive and friendly. We were a group of 12 so I got to see several plates and everyone was raving about their delicious meals. I will definitely be back!

Emeril's - Definitely Worth A Visit

By Larry W |

Trying to find a well-served meal during a major conference week such as CES in Las Vegas is a real challenge. And finding Emeril's in the huge MGM complex of shops, slot machines, bars and restaurants is another challenge. Emeril's passed the test, but not with flying colors. Servers were friendly and helpful, but clearly taxed by the overflow crowd. We'd come back, but hopefully curing a somewhat less busy week in Vegas.

An established Vegas favorite

By NoelN |

We have been eating here for over 20 years. One of our favorites in Vegas. Love the food and appreciate the professional service. Awesome bread pudding!

Two visits -- one good, one poor

By Jeff H |

Unfortunately the second, poor visit ruined the first one. My first visit was for lunch. The waiter timely, friendly, and the food was tasty, though expensive (as one would expect for a touristy area). However on the second visit, I waited 10 minutes at my table just to be greeted. The waiter openly admitted he "forgot about me" and then asked for my order, which included a glass of beer. Within minutes, my appetizer arrived and the food was decent. It took awhile, but someone eventually cleared my table followed by 15 minutes of nothing. ...meaning, I still hadn't gotten my beer! I had my appetizer with nothing to drink and my waiter either didn't notice or he forgot again. It was only just before my main when my beer finally arrived. Given I wasn't planning on staying at the restaurant for long, I was now forced to either drink my beer quickly, or not finish it. The po' boy sandwich was amazing (from the second visit), and the appetizer was good too. Sadly, the service was lacking. One might ask "Well why didn't you complain?" Given the waiter himself admitted to his mistake, you would think he would then take the initiative to take extra care with me and/or send a manager over to apologize. I'm big on the staff taking the initiative as opposed to putting the onus on the customer to correct a mistake they did not create in the first place.

Good Dining Experience

By 🫶🏾 |

Our first time was a great one. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The recommended drinks were strong and delicious. We had the gumbo (great), the steak which has an AMAZING sauce, the lobster mac (again great), fries (great for feeding the liquor) and the broiled oysters (disappointing and greasy). The oysters are the only reason I couldn't give it a solid 5. Other than that, everything was great!

just as good as I remember it

By jessica p |

Last time I was here was in late 90's when Emeril was king of food network. The food was good and service reasonable.

Very Good Meal

By Leigh-Traveler2015 |

Kind of a hybrid dining experience. It’s not a very upscale dining space- more casual, with the wait staff in jeans, but the food is very good and on the higher end. So- a good dining experience without the pomp and having to dress up. We started with a crab cake. It was very good- with no filler, good lumps of crabmeat and a thin crunch outside. We both ordered the prime rib. Mine- between rare & medium rare- cooked perfectly, his was ordered as medium plus- also cooked exactly as asked. The steaks had a nice balance of Worcestershire - not too much and not overwhelming. Topped with roasted garlic cloves. The banana cream pie is Devine- with a banana pudding (the real stuff) consistency, topped with lots of whipped cream and chocolate flakes. If you can’t eat another bite, don’t opt out of dessert- take it to go! One piece is plenty for two people to share. We have eaten at so many steak houses & restaurants in Las Vegas- in search of a top notch steak. The only two we’ve found in Las Vegas proper are both the Emiril locations. Ribeye $60. Not a bad price! I recommend this restaurant!

What a recovery!!! Second time is the charm as they knock it out of the park!!!

By George D |

So, just before COVID I went to this restaurant with my wife, and it was just terrible. To the credit of the restaurant, then offered me a gift certificate to return. Fast forward to 3 years later Emeril's knocked it out of the park for my friends and I. Outstanding service from Mike Rosaro and Mike Gomez set the tone for a truly delightful experience. Gumbo was out of this world; Seafood Boil was great and Ahi Tuna special was best I have had. What a job by the entire team at Emeril's!

Excellent Meal Exceptional Host (V J Germano)

By VaChatt |

This restaurant came highly recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived VJ was very attentive and helped guide us in our selections. I had the gumbo and Sea Bass which were outstanding! My friends had clam chowder and other seafood dishes and we were all extremely pleased with our selections. My recommendation for future guests is to ask to be seated in VJ's section. You will be so glad you did!!!

Emeril’s a must!!!

By 365islandtime |

Definitely I would go back!! Food and service excellent!! If in Vegas make this a definite! Emeril beat Bobby Flay!! I had surf and turf wonderful the mashed potatoes best!!! Husband had sea bass loved it!! Bread pudding a definite!!!

Delicious

By stevek1042 |

Located in MGM, Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House has great food & service. Great is looking for fresh fish and nice ambiance!

Great taste, good ambiance but pricey

By Pstrtj |

We had a party of 6 without reservations but we were seated very quickly. The food is definitely pricey. My husband and I both ordered one of the nightly specials “Surf and Turf.” It came with 1/2 Maine rock lobster tail, 4 oz. fillet and a small red snapper fillet. The food tasted phenomenal but the serving sizes were small and I am not a big eater. Needless to say, we had dessert just a short time later. Our server was very friendly and the restaurant was exceptionally clean.

Oysters the size of a quarter, for $4 each!

By Notpickybut62 |

Before we ordered oysters, I asked if they were large, and our waiter assured us they were. When brought to us, I couldn't believe I was looking at the smallest oysters I have ever been served. $24 for 6 oysters so small, that it required two on a saltine cracker, to make a bite still smaller than I've ever had. When removed from the shell, the oyster meat was the size of a quarter. I (we, there was another in our party greatly disappointed by the oysters) should have sent them back, but I was with family and didn't want any unpleasantness to spoil our night. More than $53.00, plus tip, for the oysters, an order of mashed potatoes, and one cocktail. One of the worst values I have ever experienced in a restaurant.

We had a family meal here

By Greg P |

We had a family meal here to celebrate our last night on Spring Break. What a treat! The atmosphere was great. We had three kids (ages 11, 14, and 17). The staff was attentive and helpful. Our daughter has nut and egg allergies. They went out of there way to make sure she was safe and had options. Overall, they did a great job with Covid safety measures and the food was great! I had the Gumbo and Jambalaya. Both were excellent.

Good Food, Small portions

By MsRon3 |

The food was great the portions were a little small for the price. The lobster Mac and cheese was delicious. The drinks were delicious , staff was very courteous and punctual. We had a very nice time celebrating a birthday.

Amazing food and Value

By Dwight A |

One of theists underrated places in Vegas. We have been there probably a dozen times amd have never been dissapointed. Not only is the food amazing the service and atmosphere is also top notch. Do yourself a favor and go here if you haven't been.

Always Enjoyable

By SAEEC |

This is a Las Vegas staple. Food is always very good. Jambalaya is an extremely tasty and definitely has a kick. The JUMBO LUMP BLUE CRAB CAKE “LOUIE”* was awesome with plenty of crab in each bite. The shrimp and se scallops were great, perfectly cooked. And how else would finish a meal at Emerils? With banana cream pie.

just like home

By BRITTANY TINNA W |

discovered this place by accident while staying adjacent to this hotel at MGM grand signature. Wanted to take a cool stroll through the Casino side and saw this elegant classy fish house. Just like Tv I wanted to experience the taste of New Orleans and it was the best ever. the service was a new touch of class and since my visit I've advised several of my friends and co-workers to make a stop here.

Gumbo in Las Vegas

By Marco 1986 |

My family and I came here because I wanted to try a restaurant from a celebrity chef. It felt like they rushed everyone in and out to maximize profit. My gumbo was good but I wanted amazing since Emeril is from Louisiana. Overall it was a bit of a disappointment.

Excellent food

By Pam H |

Excellent food and service. I highly recommend the gumbo, bbq shrimp, and banana cream pie. The mojitos were great.

One of the best in Las Vegas

By MUHAMMEDSANCAR |

I ordered a sauced salmon, green leaves salad with olive oil and dark chocolate mousse. All of them were amazing. I like their served bread. Definitely recommended.

Birthday dinner - a little disappointed

By foodie_bob |

We used to go to the Emeril's in The Palazzo years ago and it was one of our favorite meals. We were hoping the Fish House would come close however it missed on many fronts. For a meal to be over $100/per person, the service should have been better along with portion size. Our waiter and team seemed more interested in the other tables than staying on top of the few they had in our section. We started with the BBQ shrimp and Mac & Cheese. Both were good but $28 for 4 large shrimp? I had a special which sounded really good - Blackened Redfish Oscar style. It was good but $65 for a small portion of fish - disappointing. We also had a seafood boil which was nothing special. The star remains the Banana Cream Pie. It would have been nice if they did something for the B-Day. There are many choices in town to eat. This one may not get my pick next time :-(

Back again!

By Kimbosold1 |

Excellent as always! We come to Emeril’s every trip to Vegas, it’s one of our favorite. This trip was early and just had appetizers, oysters and gumbo, both perfect. Always eat at the bar, same bartenders for many years, impressed they always remember us! Prices on the high side, even for Vegas, but great food!

Drop The Roll

By SteveRearington |

Dedicated and prompt service, but they really pushed the alcohol hard. We were asked at least three times about ordering drinks. However, all the food was excellent -- except they really should drop that yeast roll that could easily have come from the Walmart bakery.

Great food, just a bit over priced for the portions and extras are on the side.

By cdbernal |

The oysters on the 1/2 shell were so small. The sauces were xlnt, though. The seabass was only 6 oz. We share things these days and it was not enough to share at $46. The banana cream pie was to die for and the espresso drink with Kalua was really good.

Birthday dinner

By Imissthesun |

We had eaten here 24 years ago for our 5th wedding anniversary - went back for my birthday. The food was just as outstanding! Lots of choices my husband did the dinner group - salad, entrees and dessert I did the Alaskan halibit which was the special. Service, cocktails and food were all spot on. Highly recommend

Even Better than Expected

By alisone97 |

I was expecting good but got excellent, especially considering it's a fish house in the middle of a desert. Excellent staff. Too much gouda in the Mac n cheese.

Wonderful meal

By sreeves82 |

Excellent meal and service! We ordered drinks, bbq shrimp, ahi, sea bass, and jambalaya. It was ALL amazing. The service was so friendly and fast. Our 9 year old had a great time too.

Not very good…

By Michael R |

Truly a disappointment and Emeril would be sad. We decided to eat here on a Saturday evening for dinner. Now granted I grew up along the gulf coast in Louisiana, so Emeril is well know to us. The restaurant itself is fairly nice in decor and is a good people watching spot. We were quickly seated and our server took our drink orders. We started with the deviled eggs and the broiled oysters. Neither one of these really met expectations. The deviled eggs were extremely plain and had a sliver of smoked salmon on top. The broiled oysters were the smallest oysters I have ever seen. They looked more like little neck clams. The were mostly oil and breadcrumbs. My wife ordered the sea bass and I had the redfish. The redfish was cut very, very thick and by the time it got to the table it was over cooked and very tough. I showed the server and he was quick to bring it to the back, which was nice of him. The second one came out and was a little better, but still tough. My wife got her sea bass and it was ok. Very fishy which was unusual for sea bass. This eventually turned out to be a bad thing as she and I both got very sick that night and we suspect if was the sea bass. The corn bread was the only saving grace of the meal. Overall, for $200+ for dinner this was definitely not worth it. They did offer us a free drink at the end, but that doesn’t make up for the poor food quality.

Needs more 'BAM'.

By livebro |

Watched Emeril on TV but this place lacked the 'BAM' we had hoped for. The food was OK but I do not believe in undercooked seafood as this is not a sushi bar. The salmon was done but the seabass was somewhat undercooked and the 'cajun fries were totally underwhelming. Maybe his other places are better but this was a definite disappointment.

Perfect

By Traveler |

Perfection!!! I come to Vegas often and this bar far is one of new favorite restaurants. It captures the New Orleans feeling. The flavors the atmosphere is top notch and the selection is Amazing

very good but pricy

By bvforester |

took my 3 grown kids there for dinner. It was very tasty, we each had different dishes and sampled each others food. A bit pricey, 230.00 with a tip.

FivePLUS stars!!!

By Barb T |

Anthony and his crew (Michael and Roland) cared incredibly for us as we celebrated our anniversary with an outstanding meal. Excellent service and a fantastic meal!

Nice, quiet, and delicious

By Tina C |

Some friends and I decided to have a nice dinner (away from the casino) at Emeril's. It lived up to the hype with delicious food, great service and drinks. Between the 4 of us we had a vast assortment of dishes: pork chop, salmon, stuffed lobster, oysters, etc. Everything was good. It is a little pricey but well worth it.

Great Bourbon List

By Rick C |

I did not eat there but went for drinks. We were impressed with the bourbon options which were better than the bourbon bar in the hotel

Best meal of the trip

By luv2travelHonolulu |

We loved it here! Service was amazing and food was too. Had the jambalaya and halibut both wonderful. will go again and try pork chops next time

Good food small portions.

Went here for lunch food was good. Small portions and high price. Great service good food in Mgm grand.

Another great meal and experience

By CarterJonErickson |

My wife and I come here every year and have always had a 5 star meal and experience. Last night, was a 5+ star meal and experience. Meal specifics: we love the seafood tower, enjoyed the creole okra, and the bread pudding for dessert. The meal paired well with the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The dessert with one of the Ports. Great job kitchen! The + part of the 5 star review was the service, specifically servers VJ and Doug and a special touch added my manager Denise. 👍👍Being a frustrating time for restaurants, these people have upped their game and outperform. It's ok

By Stl_Ronnie |

Food tastes good. Portion size were extremely small for the price. 1 crab cake and 1 small blackened salmon (no sides) with a margarita was $96.

Not good at all, not even Creole. Who is running the show?

By Ana Z |

My boyfriend and I decided to eat here, knowing the prices. We arrived on time and seated immediately. Our server introduced himself, and said him and 2 others may/may not be serving us. Uhm. OK. 3 people? Strange , but OK. We ordered drinks to start. I had the LYCHEE COCO TINI and he loved it. I ordered the EMERIL’S STRAWBERRY LEMONADE. I had asked our server if it was any good and he stated it was which is why they put the name EMERIL in it. To say the least, the drink was underwhelming. You would think you would get some spruced up drink with like floating strawberries or a little umbrella even... nope. It looked and TASTED like really watered down lemonade and had a wedge of lemon propped on the side. Really disappointed. I was hoping for some strawberry chunks and some fancy looking lemon twist.. spruced up like all Vegas. But no. For appies my boyfriend ordered the LOUISIANA STYLE BROILED OYSTERS. 3 Oysters, overcooked. No real exceptional taste. Disappointing. I ordered the BABY SWEET GEM LETTUCE. You would think one can't go wrong with a salad, but they did. There was no dressing on it. Maybe consider bringing dressing on the side so patrons can put as much or as little as they like. And I was too worried asking for more dressing was outside etiqueccy rules for this kind of establishment. Mains: I just ordered GUMBO. Now, my boyfriend makes a really good Gumbo but he is no chef. So I had high expectations of a chef named restaurant like this. It was so disappointing. The only thing you taste is pepper. And there were three shrimp in my whole bowl - shrimp you buy in a frozen bag at Costco. There was lots of rice and lots of pepper. I didn't even finish it all it was that bad. My boyfriend ordered the CREOLE SEARED HAWAIIAN AHI OSCAR STYLE - and it was recommended medium rare. Well, it came overcooked. There was no layering in the flesh like one expects. And the taste was - meh. There was none. We thought we would try the world famous Banana Cream Pie this chef is known for. Another disappointment. You can pretty much whip up some whip cream, throw in some bananas and it tastes the same. We also had a glass of the house red and a glass of the pinot grigio - and those were both quite good. So there is that. Our bill, with tip was 250$, and if I had known, I would of opted for a 2$ hotdog in some dive instead. The food was supremely disappointing.

Late Evening Date Place

We had been to a show and wanted a cocktail and something to eat without a full dinner. Sat at the bar and had really great cocktails (bourbon Manhattan!). We each ordered soup, cream of mushroom and clam chowder. Both were delicious. We each order a dessert, a rum bread pudding and a trio of sorbets. Bartender was attentive but not intrusive and all-in-all a great experience.

Good food for a celebrity restaurant

By AdamJMarciaW |

This was the only celebrity chef restaurant we visited in Vegas. The food was the normal Emeril quality, and fish was fresh and yummy. Nothing over the top, but good.

BEST Meal in the whole week!

By Jennifer S |

The best meal I ate my entire week in Las Vegas was here. To start the cocotini was perfectly light, refreshing and enjoyable. The star of the show was the gold coast jambalaya. This dinner was the perfect balance of spicy and flavorful. The spicy enhanced the flavor without being overwhelming and has had me craving ever since I left the place. I would recommend this to anyone who really wants perfectly cooked shrimp and plate of delectable food. Absolutely fabulous!

Fantastic Wine list!

By Beauds |

Ordered the Seabass for two. Outstanding! The best wine list that I have seen this year! Must have the Banana Cream pie!

Outstanding!

By LivinInAZ |

Outstanding! We were there for a conference June 6-9 2022. Dined with some coworkers and we all agreed the service was superb and the food was terrific. Great staff experience from host to server to assistants.

Not worth the money

A horrific tourist trap. We found our entrées to be uninspiring and bland. Service was slow and indifferent. They seated us by the kitchen which was profoundly noisy. I’d never return here.

Fantastic food at the Fish House

By Michael S |

Emeril's fish house at the MGM Grand in the District is a fantastic option for a great meal. The atmosphere is good even though it is open to the District walkway. The live music from other venues makes it a great evening place to have dinner. I had the seafood boil. It was fantastic plus a good size portion. The bonus was our waiter suggested a side of crab rice. This addition put my dinner in the 5 star range especially for a boil in a $$$ restaurant in Vegas. My wife had the special flat iron steak and shrimp, she was also very pleased with her food quality and quantity. This is a $100 per person dinner. I finished my meal with a pot of French press coffee. It was a perfect finish.

Just Fantastic!!

Went with my wife and four others. Due to new regulations, we were not allowed to have more than 4 at a table, but that was fine with us. We were delighted that we had two servers attending to us. Quality of food is what will always bring me back, and this restaurant had the best food we had during our stay. First of all, the fried okra for an appetizer was enough for the entire table, and delicious! Each person in our party ordered something different, and each person was very pleased with their meal. I had the jambalaya. It was enough to fill me up. The most raved about meal was the salmon on the cedar plank. We try to travel to Vegas once a year, and each time stay at a different resort, and try different restaurants. We will be sure to return here next time we are in town.

Amazing experience, every time

By Jenny H |

My Husband and I live in Orange County, Ca but try to come about once a month or every other month. We get treated like Royalty every time. Anthony and everyone else here are amazing. The food is delicious! There is no other spot I care to visit in Las Vegas for dinner.

AMAZING

By HollywoodNWO |

Wowsers, this is the most delicious food that I might of ever had. The food tastes and smell amazing. The waiters explain all the menu options and keep refilling your water before you have to ask for more. I am not a big seafood eater but the Shrimp and the Scallops are unbelievable. Also the steak is dynamite! Sometimes they change a few menu options but they always have great food. The soups are very thick and the Banana cream pie actually has real fresh pieces of banana in there. You are probably going to spend close to 100 dollars per person but to me it is worth it. If you want a great meal then this is the place.

Excellent food and service

By habs1609 |

We ate here earlier this month during our short trip to Las Vegas. For starters, we had the Barbecue Shrimp & Emeril's Salad. They split the salad for us. Crisp baby lettuce with the right amount of dressing. The shrimp was outstanding , and the amount of sauce was just right. It complimented the shrimp and did not drown out the shrimp. They give each guest a Parker House roll & refills are offered. For our mains, we had the Jambalaya & Roasted Jidori Chicken Breast. The chicken came with fried Brussel Sprouts & had a bacon jam au jus sauce. We agreed it was just about the best piece of chicken we have had. The Jambalaya had jumbo shrimp cooked perfectly & Andouille sausage. The sausage is of course spicy but tasty. Unlike other Jambalaya we have had , the rice wasn't smothered in sauce or too starchy To finish the evening we shared the Pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. Again, it was perfect. Our group of 3 servers was attentive without being hovering. Watching them with nearby tables, they seemed to read what attenion level worked for each table .

It'sa sooo good.

We were looking for a diner spot during Cowboy Christmas, and chose this spot at the MGM Grand. What a good decision. We got immediate seating. The staff and crew were excellent, we'll trained, friendly, attentive and they knew the menu. We got the chicken, pork chop, and crablegs. Everything was great, hot, tender, juicy, flavorful, really delicious. Menu is a bit pricy, but then again most stuff in Las Vegas is pretty pricy, so for the quality, it was really worth it. We enjoyed the whole experience. Try it out. No regrets.

No surprises! Just yum!

By David T |

Got to do an old fashioned foodie night here while attending a conference. Shrimp, oysters and octopus. Topped off with a slice of espresso opera cake with pomegranate and strawberry. Don’t wake me.

My experience was great!

By scmellor |

My experience was great! Had mussels for the first time! I enjoyed my food. My bf said the Jambalaya was “just ok”. We took the Banana Cream Pie to go. It was great! The service was top notch!

3 course lunch menu!

By SGTL |

I’ve been wanting to eat here and came for lunch. I got the lunch 3 course meal. I got the gumbo for an appetizer and the shrimp and grits for the entree and the bread pudding for dessert. The gumbo for an appetizer was huge! I wish they had salt and pepper on the table it needed more. The shrimp and grits were delicious the Cajun sauce on top was spicy and the shrimp were large for only getting 4 on the plate. They also give a soft yeast roll and butter. It’s a lot of food for the price you will definitely leave full and satisfied. The service was really nice they check on you often. If you want to try it come for lunch for a better price.

Delicious food and a great staff

A fantastic staff with an authentic NOLA menu. The drinks are great and I really liked the decor. My jambalaya was spicier than I expected but delicious with huge shrimp. Good portions. Looking forward to returning.

Emeril's New Orleans Fish House

By EvanGuthrie |

Emeril's New Orleans Fish House has delicious and well prepared seafood and much more. I really like the location and how well everything is prepared here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have the best meal.

Such a Disappointment

By Tina B |

We expected so much more from Emeril. The food was average. Serving sizes were small which was fine because they weren't that great. We were charged for drinks that were served at another table. Such a disappointment.

Very Good, But Not Memorable

By Honest to Josh |

I was originally struggling to write a review because I couldn't remember much of my experience even though it was only a couple of days ago, which told me all I needed to know. It's not that it was bad at all! The service was nice, the atmosphere was nice, beautiful ambiance, and the food was good, it just didn't stand out. I will say, though, the menu is quite overpriced. Overall, this is a good place to try at least once if you're nearby.

Very tasty, VERY expensive

By EditorCJP |

The food was very good but the prices - wow! Dinner for four with three of us having salads was $150+ tip. Yes, the jambalaya was excellent with large, well seasoned shrimp and a rich, spicy rice base. And the salads were great too. But $15 for a single scallop? Oof.

Ok not great, not really Cajun creole cuisine

By 22tea22 |

It’s ok not really Cajun , creole spices if that’s your hope, Appetizers; crab cake (1) $25 mostly crab no fillers ,good BBQ shrimp(4pcs) $25 good BBQ sauce very good Soup;gumbo $14 disappointed Fried whole chicken OK just a fried chicken in pieces a little salty just chicken nothing special Desert where very good $683 + $150 tip I’d say if you thinking is Louisiana Cajun creole you’ll be disappointed, worth the price , I’d say no

Service good....food blah

By John W |

Went for a Family dinner on Feb. 7th. Wasn't going to write this review, but after I sent a personal email to Emeril's and received no response.... Service was good. No complaints. The king crab bisque was fantastic. All the rest was really sub standard. Have been here 3 times before and it was great. But this time the food was dried out, warm at best and generally really bland. I had the Ono special with shrimp (both died out) my son had Red fish and spouse had beet salad. The lobster mac n cheese looked good but my son said it was dry and barely warm. Did not say anything as waitress was quite busy. Guess it was just an off day that cost us well over $200. Would not recommend.
