Great little local bar and eatery

By Deranne |

We were staying at a vacation rental a short walk away. Visited on two nights and sat on the bar side of the restaurant. The meal on the first night was great but on our next visit it was not quite as good. I guess some menu choices are just better than others. Nice vibe though and obviously visited by regulars. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.

By azursol |

Food is good but prices are way way over the top . Examples are biscuits and gravy are $11 with out and sides like eggs or hashbrowns Macaroni and cheese $13.50 and yes just ain't old mac and cheese nothing added no sides like salad or vegetables Hamburger starts at $15. A beer will run you about $9 Soda pop $ 4

Unfriendly staff

By b_sue0211 |

This is the second time my fiance and I have been to this restaurant and enjoyed it very much the first time. Breakfast is awesome, flapjacks, best ever. In fact our food was good. My fiance ordered hanger steak which was quite under cooked, but the flavor and type of steak he ate most of it. He let the server know so she could inform the cooks, being a chef himself he knew the steak is not the easiest to prepare properly, but the flavor was good and grilled vegetables were great. Now lets get to why I marked it a 2. We were greated and asked if we wanted bar or dining seating I told her it didn't matter, bar it was and we sat. The server arrives, not much of a greeting, told us about bar specials and drink specials...my fiance forgot his id...and it was like we were minors sneaking into a bar. She immediately was rude and told us we can't sit there. Now I understand alcohol and bar regulations, I am a bartender and laws are laws, but don't be rude. She did say sorry for the inconvenience but was not sincere, it seemed like more of just a hastle. Next server, she was pleasant, not personal at all, felt like we were a transaction, did not try to upsale. Just flat service. When we told the server about his steak, she wasn't sure what to do, not clueless just not sure what to do. She took the steak off the bill which was unnecessary because he ate it, but nice. Problem, she deopped it and that was that. Like she wanted us out of there and that we were a problem and she wanted us gone. Gee, I'm glad I didn't want dessert.... I am not saying do not go to this establishment, I am just saying its best in the morning with lively staff and great food, night food is good but service is not.

Great breakfast, fun atmosphere

By blsmeltzer |

Great breakfast plate, the crispy potatoes are yummy. Quiet on a Saturday morning but looks like a fun evening atmosphere. The theme changes, currently "Georgia" theme with peaches and southern music. Cute.

Nice little neighborhood restaurant

By Kathy J |

There are only 2 restaurants in the Fauntleroy neighborhood near the ferry dock. It's convenient and decent food - some dishes are better than others....but overall a pleasant ambience and helpful wait staff. The interesting thing is the 3 month rotation of themes in both menu selection and decor.

Endolyne Joe's

By nhings |

Named after a conductor of old Trolley No. 2 its name is as unique as is the location for a good meal. Staff is always very attentive to us. Great for brunch or kicking back for a beer & sports on tv. Theme months bring a nostalgic feel in addition to the adequate portions making EJ's meals reasonably priced.

Great neighborhood restaurant!

By zzzster |

A West Seattle neighborhood gem! (part of a small chain that has a few other neighborhood restaurants). Some great staples on the menu plus they rotate every few months to a different theme for some nice changes. Fried chicken dinner on Sunday!

Local spot, great for a Sunday morning breakfast

By Dean S |

A casual Sunday morning breakfast. Service prompt and polite, not rushed or intrusive. Coffee refilled as desired. Pancakes/eggs/bacon and a variety of omelets ordered. All were well prepared and presented. Able to eat slowly and talk without being rushed, although it was quite busy inside. Don't hesitate to recommend it.

Family environment, great breakfast

By Maggie |

I enjoyed my blueberry pancakes very much! I have had such and dinner as well, and there is always something on the menu for me. The deserts have been good, too.

Never miss this place during our Visit to Seattle

By GmaSandra |

Endolyne Joe's is just down the road from my son's home. Whenever we visit Seattle, we find time to dine at Endolyne Joe's. It's a great family place. They have a nice selection for children which includes a drink and dessert. For the adults, don't miss the asparagus appetizer.

Good, hot coffee

By gingerp281 |

I like a HOT cup of coffee, and they had it. Our server was great about keeping the coffee cups topped off. Breakfast was good. I had the $7 West Seattle Slinger- fried red potatoes, sausage, cheese, gravy, topped with over easy eggs. No substitutions on those specials. Service was friendly and fast on a Thursday morning around 9:30am.

Fun neighborhood restaurant with great food and service

By Lori M |

We live close to Endolyne Joe's but hadn't eaten here in years. We stopped in Friday around 5:30pm for dinner. The place was full (indoors and out) but we got a small table in the back of the restaurant. The menu had several options from comfort food, prime rib, and even some breakfast options. A nice wine menu and full bar. The service was truly topnotch. The restaurant had great energy and was full of families, senors, and younger folks. A nice neighborhood place that we'll definitely visit again.

Good meal in friendly neighborhood spot with character

By Gloria L |

Can't give this spot 4 or 5 stars because only one meal of two was a winner. My dinner was quite tasty but my spouse's wasn't what he'd hoped (enchilada stack). It had more refried beans than he can handle and the cheese wasn't as warm as optimum (perhaps the dish was delayed from kitchen to table?). The wait staff are super friendly. My fish dish (salmon) was excellent. Also ordered side salad; tasty but quite small. We visited many years ago and found their selection of salads (then) was more extensive. Overall it was a good meal but we won't be hustling to return.

Good gluten free menu

By waianaegirl |

I lived in West Seattle for years, and never knew of this place. We have since moved but were back in town and were looking for a place that had a gluten free menu. We are always skeptical, since contamination is always a problem, but we ate there, the manager came out and assured us that there was no gluten in my husband's food. And he never got sick, so they did a good job. His food was good and so was ours. Good service!

Really nothing special...

By Shirell M |

I was so excited to eat here after reading the reviews. I found the customer service lacking and food just ok. We went on a Thursday afternoon around 12pm. It was not even half crowded. It took 10 minutes for them to A) notice us and B) seat us. Then it took at least 15 minutes before our waitress greeted us, which was just that, a "HI" and I will be back. Then 10 minutes later we got water, 15-minutes later she returned to take our order. So adding it all up, 45-minutes just to place an order. We found the food to be just fine, nothing terrible and surely nothing great. Our waitress never checked back with us and $65 dollars later for a family of four we found ourselves highly disappointed we made the drive from downtown Seattle.

Delicious 😋 and great vibe

By Christy B |

Came here with a large group. 12 of us on a late Sunday morning. Hangover day 😊 They got us seated promptly even though they were busy. We had a awesome server who handled our crazy table very well. Bloody Mary’s were delicious and the home fried potatoes were possibly the best I have ever had. The ambience was beautiful and fun. Thanks for a enjoyable time and great food. Hope to be back soon.

Pretty good but spendy

By seattlebigmama |

I have eaten here several times headed for the ferry. It is not for the impatient nor the person on a budget. It cost me $23 for two pancakes, two pieces of bacon and two eggs, a cup of coffee and a very small apple juice - the juice was $4.00! Seemed expensive. The food is indeed hot and good, but service is not the speediest and it is more for a leisurely treat.

Want to go back for more

By freberd |

Went there on Sunday for a late breakfast. Lots of yumm y food choices. Carmel apple french toast very good. Family wants to go back for family style chicken dinners on Sunday night. Also they have a great private room for parties no extra charge for room probably seats 25

Inconsistent service, but good food

By Cathryn S |

My husband and I have been to Endolyne many times. The food is almost always good, but we never know what to type of service to expect. Sometimes it’s on point, but more often than not it’s poor to below average service. It seems very transactional and impersonal. We likely would not go back if it weren’t for good food and conveniently located for us... consistently good service would make a world of difference. Today was yet another demonstration of less than average service. However, while sitting at the back counter we realized there were more than 10 ants fighting over crumbs previously left on the counter. We made our waitress aware, and just moved to the other end of the counter that they didn’t seem to be bothering. After finishing our food we were about ready to leave, when a waitress came over to wipe down the counter. When she completely missed the area with the crumbs that were attracting the ants, I attempted to let her know but was cutoff by her response... “This is West Seattle. There are ants.” She then walked away and continued to another table. Our waitress handled the incident fine and did at least apologize, but the other waitress was incredibly rude and unimpressive. Makes us not want to go back.

OK, lots of food

By teameck1 |

Some friends took us here when we were there for a visit. We had to wait about 20 minutes and ordered the chicken dinner. There was so much food we got to take some home because we could not finish it all. The booth was a bit cramped and the beer was OK. I would probably see about gong someplace else next time but it was OK.

Poorly-made Food, Gimmicky

By Zachary D |

The food is not well-made, with very dry and overly-salted pieces of chicken. The “Hawaiian” menu is gimmicky with a terrible loco moco. Would suggest Marination instead as the quality is far better.

Always Changing it's Country Theme

By Tenlee B |

Not only is this place a great place for incredible food, they change up a featured country to showcase, not just in food but in decorations in the restaurant! Such a fun place to eat a great meal.

Great Brunch!

By Tamara D |

Brunch is by far my favorite meal and Endolyne Joe's makes a great one! I had the Benedict and it was amazing. The best part though was the breakfast potatoes. They were to die for! Others at my table ordered sandwiches. It was nice to have the option of breakfast or lunch food. Great service too!

A Favorite Neighborhood Hangout

By Al_Doyle_Seattle |

Always fun! Always good! Often crowded. This is a West Seattle favoriate, attracting both locals and visitors. The menu is extensive and well prices. The food consistently good. The special feature is a monthly "theme" where they feature a cuisine from cities around the US and Canada. The decor is changed to celebrate the destination and the menu features special selections of regional cuisine. Endolyne also features a great bar if all you want is a cocktail or two.

Nasty

By jeff m |

Not good at all...nothings prepared right...it's expensive...nothings consistent...pork chops one week were prepared right and next week like a burnt piece of leather...stay away from this dive.

Rediscovered

By VashonRR |

We live on Vashon Island and were in Seattle for some errands, finishing up around dinner time. Where to go? Decided to try to Endolyne Joe's because it's close to the ferry we take home. Had been there for coffee and breakfast but not dinner and a great feast of fried chicken made us glad we stopped in.

Revolving menu makes fun!

By LeeLeeAnn |

Every few months, the menu changes and we make sure we come for every new theme. Half the menu is standards (bistro type food) and the other half (festival) is dedicated to a theme. It's our neighborhood restaurant, the food is good and the prices are decent.

Breakfast Extraordanaire

By Dan M |

Our friends recommended this place so we came here for breakfast. It was excellent! They always change there theme and the special that day was an apple sausage hash which my wife had and loved. I had the traditional breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast and it was fantastic as well. I would love to have a place like this where I live. Get there early as the place usually has a line to get in.

One of the Best

By Kathleen F |

We've driven right on by this place for years. It looks like a diner with its flashing Eat at Joe's sign and chicken dinner ads. Yesterday, a headache forced a stop. I so wish we'd come in earlier. The interior is charming, fun, comfortable. Our waitress felt like a long-time friend. They do have a lot of chicken, including a Sunday buttermilk chicken dinner that sounds, actually, incredible, and smells it too. They also have seasonal menus, and right now, it's French Canadian. Decor like street signs and a huge ferris wheel help bring the mood in a way little ones would love, and children at heart do, as well. We started with the cheese puffs (French name). Crisp. Perfect. My husband got the pumpkin/butternut soup. It was Michelin star delicious, as was my squash ravioli dish cooked with butter, cheese slivers, chives, pumpkin seeds, and...brussel sprout bits. Movies like The 100 Foot Journey (great one, btw) talk about the right amount of bitter, sweet, and savory needed to get Michelin Stars. Not sure who the cook was, young or old, male or female, but he or she nailed my dish. My mouth was delighted, and I had to make myself stop eating. Great Caesar too. It's rare that I run into a meal so good, and rarer still, that I can get it for under $20. What a treat! What a find! Heading back asap for their poutine and something else delicious.

Enjoyable brunch

By Phi Somchai |

Endolyne is a very relaxing diner located in a peaceful neighborhood in West Seattle. Parking is easily available on the side of the outlet. We came here for brunch and ordered pancakes, sausages, eggs and sandwiches. The food was very delicious and the serving was very generous. The service was very good too. Totally enjoyed it here.

Excellent breakfast and Bloody Mary's.

By SWFloridaBoater |

Excellent breakfast and Bloody Mary's. This was a perfect stop after picking up friends from SeaTac Airport. Great atmosphere and service !

Not much food for a high price

By CocoWashington |

I’ve been coming to Endolyne’s for several years because I live in the neighborhood but last Sunday when we received the fried chicken dinner there was less food and the price has been raised. Maybe new chef, maybe new menu prices. This is their signature dish! Our meal definitely did not look like the picture they use to advertise the chicken dinner. Two weeks ago I met a friend for lunch at Endolyne and the turkey sandwich was delicious. Maybe Sunday evenings are not the time to do Endolyne’s.

Family Style Chicken Dinner

By lawdawg1 |

Have been there twice now for their Sunday Night Family Style Chicken Dinner. Solid meal with nice portions. For $14.50 you get 4 pieces of chicken, mash potatoes and vegetables. Starts at 5PM and you need to get there early to avoid waiting. Food arrives quickly . Not the best chicken I've had, but certanly is very good and worth going back for.

Unfriendly service

By Travel383054 |

Went to Endolyne Joes to have dinner with my kiddo. Waitress seemed less than impressed that I was only ordering a latte for myself and a meal from the kids menu for my child... I would have bought us both dessert and another latte, but she brought us the bill without us asking (was about to ask about dessert menu) so I paid and left. Kids pasta was good, nice portion, my latte was delicious. But the service put me off returning.

Nice Breakfast

By jtjLA |

Good solid place for breakfast. I’ve been 10 or more times. Efficient and friendly servers. All well organized and overall good experience.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

By Christina A |

Stayed in AirBNB in this local area for 3 nights. Owner of premise had guest info compiled and recommended Endolyne Joes, Being our 1st visit to Seattle, and from Australia, we walked everywhere or used public transport. As we didn't cook for the 3 days, Endolyne Joe's was our local haunt. Was convenient as we hopped off the bus and whilst we originally went for Happy Hour, we had breakfast and dinner there for our time spent in Seattle. Bar staff were excellent and friendly, made us feel welcome, some local patrons also very friendly! All in all, great hangout!

Excellent brunch location. Interestingly, they pick a different locale each month, and develop special dishes based on cuisine particular to that locale. I've enjoyed every dish I've tried.

Tasty lunch & Awesome breakfast

By MBP_in_SC |

This restaurant was highly recommended by friends who live nearby, Our family of four had a great lunch and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun in Seattle. Sent some other out-of-town friends over for breakfast and got back a text to say that Endolyn Joes is AWESOME.

Best Sunday brunch in Seattle

By Jack W |

I've never been disappointed at Endolyne Joe's, having eaten breakfast or brunch here many times during the past decade. Most recent visit was no exception. Our group of seven was seated within about 15 minutes of arrival -- a very reasonable wait at this busy, no-reservations restaurant -- the waiter was very professional and within a very few minutes after being seated we were tucked into our meal. The corned beef hash is excellent, the eggs Benedict a work of art. Coffee refills continuously and the price is right. Explore the interesting neighborhood while you're there: old Seattle at the end of the trolley line, hence "Endolyne" Joe's.

Bad Attitude, Can't stand this place, Gone many times, NO MORE!!!!

By SeattleTef |

After an evening at a play, a group of 14 wanted to be seated and they refused to seat us? Didn't even offer a time frame? Every time we go here we like the food, but I go to New York deli's for attitude. Endolynes Joe's is not worth the effort.

Wonderful Neighborhood Restaurant

By Nancy Jean M |

Great causal & friendly atmosphere. Has a parking lot. Have been there many times for breakfast, lunch & dinner & never had a bad meal. Excellent service always even for a group of 15 people. Even if there is a line am always seated within 10 minutes.

Everything you want in a neighborhood restaurant

By Poppyqueen |

Endolyne Joes is very close to the Fauntleroy Ferry terminal. For this reason, my husband and I have opted to have dinner here instead of waiting in an hour+ ferry line to get home to Vashon. We’ve even left our car in line on the dock before if there was a significant delay and just walked up. We’ve always had a good meal here and we appreciate the friendly neighborhood ambience

Dinner, many times. 1st time for lunch.

By Hoosierbud |

Been to Endolen Joe's a few times but never for lunch and was not disappointed. Took friends awaiting a next day flight here for lunch and each of us had a wonderful meal. Sandwiches and salad, everything fresh and tasty, good service and a unique environment. The theme was "Georgia" and there were many items on the menu to reflect that. Can't wait to try breakfast and brunch.

Great lunch and brunch

By Erin P |

My husband and I and a couple friend of ours went there for lunch and we all loved it. The interior is cozy and festive. Each quarter of the year they change the region that they focus on and feature menu items from that region. Yesterday when we ate there it was Toronto. I ordered one of the Toronto specials - a hash with parsnips, leeks, and potatoes topped with poached eggs. It was perfect, flavorful, and filling! My friend ordered their fish and chips and was very pleased. They have other tasty looking menu items too. We also loved our waitress. She was patient, friendly, and accurate with our orders. Overall great place! My husband and I are happy we live close by!

Neighborhood place

By lestroyens |

My wife and I went here twice, once with my daughter for lunch and another time just us for breakfast. The food was good and reasonably priced. I would recommend the breakfast specials served Monday-Friday. I had the scrambled eggs with goat cheese and it was very good; the super-crispy potatoes and biscuit were a nice addition.

Ecclectic and Friendly

By Diane K |

You have to love that they change the theme of the restaurant every 3 months and hand make all the decorations! Don't miss the Sunday Fried Chicken dinners, if Oprah ever ate here it would be her new favorite. and the staff from the cheff to the wait staff are all the friendliest. Right now is a Brazilian theme and the meat platter is incredible!

So close and yet so far

By Kurt B |

We live a couple of blocks away so want it to be good but always seem to come away disappointed. We were even regulars every Thursday for a few months when our daughter was part of the Endolyne choir but they could never seem to get the order right. We even went so far as to order the same thing at the same time after a while for our party of six but even that did not help. Poor service with occasionally good food does not make it work for us.

Nice for brunch or lunch

By Seattle_Hiker |

A friend who lives in West Seattle recommended Endolyne Joe's, and I was not disappointed. I was seated promptly just before noon. The place was half-empty. By 12:10 there wasn't a seat to be had. The server brought me my soft drink promptly, and there was no problem with waiting to order until my co-author arrived. Unusual selection of regionally inspired comfort food + full bar. They are also open for dinner and serve breakfast until 2PM. I ordered the Mulberry Street Beef Sandwich, expecting your typical French Dip, got a nice combo of true pot roast and cheddar with their own distinctive sauce. I plan to return some Sunday to try their fried chicken, as I have yet to find edible fried chicken anywhere on Puget Sound. (People are obsessed with eating healthfully in Ecotopia; I'm a charter member of the Death by Cholesterol Club.) There is limited parking available in the small lot between Joe's and the Pet Groomer next door. If it is full, look to park along the street leading up the hill. This is a gem of a place! Check it out!

Breakfast

By Joanna A |

Really enjoyed over the weekend my parfait breakfast presented well the granola was divine which is made in house, service was prompted and very friendly staff.

Eclectic and Delicious!

By Sacha L |

Endolyne Joe's is a great restaurant. We love their themed menus and artwork. It's a local treasure that is the right mix of family friendly and enjoyable adult dining experience. Most recently we enjoyed brunch and it was delicious. So many wonderful choices. We selected one themed item and one regular menu item and both were entirely enjoyable. Great flavor, generous portions and pretty presentation. Additionally, our service was fantastic. We had a prompt and personable waitress with a great sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Best brunch across 4 Cities!

By Elizabeth T |

My partner and I travelled NY, NJ, Seattle and San Francisco this holiday and ate a lot of brunches. This was definitely THE BEST. We had the "West Seattle Slinger" and shared some sour cream pancakes. INCREDIBLE!! The decor was San Francisco too so we could revise before our next stop.

Good choice for brunch

By John L |

Good menu options for brunch. All of our dishes were tasty with ample portions. Service very good but spotty. Like a lot of places, they were understaffed.

Great food & staff

By Brooke S |

The food here is really good. Me and my sister went here to hang out for a afternoon and I loved it here. It is a really cute resturantat and the wait staff are very friendly!

Great neighborhood dining in West Seattle

By Rod M |

We make it a point to get to Endolyne Joe's every time we visit Seattle. It's not far from the Vachon Ferry landing in West Seattle. The food is very good, and the staff is really helpful. They have a very kid friendly atmosphere, and the theme changes periodically, with the most recent being Cuba. The menu here does NOT get dull.

Excellent Food and Atmosphere

By Hayley B |

Had a delicious brunch here this morning. Been hearing about this place for ages and pleased to finally experience it. Look forward to coming again for dinner. Visited the cute bakery next door as well. Highly recommend!

Old World Feel, Homey Food

By dedelad |

The waitress was fun, imformative and attentive even though the restaurant was busy. She helped recommend house specialties and items unique to Endolyns. Although the interior is dated, the food and service definitely delivered. The Cloud cakes were light and tasty, various meats and sausages were house made, cured and or brined.

Delicious rotating menu

By Empress_Holly |

When we used to live in West Seattle, this was a regular stop for us. Whenever we go back to visit, this is a must-stop eatery for us after playing at Lincoln Park. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great for families. The menu includes classic comfort food like salads, sandwiches, burgers, fish & chips, and breakfast served all day. The Sunday fried chicken dinner is top notch. They also have a rotating theme every month or so with new decor and inventive menu specials. It's always a treat to see what the new theme will be: Cajun, Brazilian, Italian, etc. Check their website to find out what they are cooking up.

Menu themes

By intrepidtrekker1000 |

I was here for the Georgia themed menu. Had the grilled peach salad, delicious! Followed with the fish tacos off the regular menu, did not disappoint. Service was good, will definitely be back.

Disappointed

By Karen V |

I've been to Endolyne Joe's for breakfast before so I was expecting to have a lovely lunch. Went with a friend who was a first time customer, because I wanted to show her this really cute place. We will never go there again. We ordered the Tavern salad, very easy, one with no bacon. Bacon was in both salads, and when my friend asked for hers to be returned with no bacon, it was very obvious that the back staff just brushed the bacon off the salad. My friend found several pieces on bacon on her salad. Some people cannot eat pork for religious reasons and the staff were oblivious to it. The dressing was so bland and the "grilled" chicken on the salad was burnt and dry. The waitress only had one speed and that was blind tortoise. So disappointed.

Great food and atmosphere

By laurie n |

Glad this restaurant is still here! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but is a gem inside. I love the food, and it's always fresh and good.

Great Breakfast!

By orbuck |

We are from out of town and our friends took us here for Breakfast. They apparently have a different theme for types of food. They change this theme periodically. When we went it was Mexican. The whole place was decorated beautifully. I had a Mexican Hash and my wife had a Mexican Scramble. Both were so good that we went back the next day. This is at the old end of the line for the trolly cars. So that's the name "Endolyne" Joe's. It's a nicely restored old building with a full bar if you want a Bloody Mary too.

Reasonably priced and tasty Happy Hour

By adeledupre |

The Mac'n'Cheese was yummy however the hush puppies were ok but the dipping sauce a bit spicy.l will try to go back to try their Sunday fried chicken family dinner,

Any Time of Day, Any Meal or Between You Will be Delighted

By plumtart77 |

Some restaurants just get it right. Endolyne Joe's is one of them. The food, the atmosphere, the creativity with delicious and interesting specials that match a city's, a regions, or a country's culture and food, accompanied by artful and playful paintings and ceiling installations to go with make for a unique restaurant with great art, great food and great energy. The waitstaff are consistently efficient and upbeat, making for an inviting neighborhood feel. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, expect high quality food and excellent service. The menu item regulars are dependable and the featured specials are often beautifully spiced, sauced and presented. The portions are ample and the prices fare. From family friendly, to a great date night to pleasurable solo dining Endolyne has it all.

Excellent pancakes

By nyctraveler230 |

A bit out of the way if staying downtown but an easy trip via the C line to SW Seattle that took about 20 mins. A rustic restaurant with a huge brunch menu. Was difficult to choose but decided on the Kathryn special that was pancakes, 2 eggs and bacon at a reasonable under $12.00 cost. Great value and delicious. I am not sure how crowded it gets on Sunday. My party of 3 arrived at 11:00 a.m. and we were seated immediately.

Good Cuban Food and Tasty Desserts

By springstraveler |

I really liked my Cuban pork dish and my friend was very pleased with the chicken. The fish and chips were burnt and not very tasty. I think certain dishes are better than others but i really liked the atmosphere and the service. Again, I think the Cuban food was the best. We all had different desserts and really liked them.

Happy to support local business, but...

By marnankev2 |

Happy to support local business during the health crisis, by ordering take out. Why is this called Slab Apple Pie??? It had a top and bottom crust, a few slices of apple and dry flake cereal. Nothing more. It is totally dry. No moisture whatsoever and a TOTAL RIP OFF. Why are you selling this? Why are you taking advantage of the customers who are supporting you???

Peruvian Themed Neighborhood Joint...Cool!

By Dan C |

We took my daughter here for her 18th birthday and she loved it...we all did! They treated her special with a birthday sundae and a Peruvian lemonade (not together...that would be gross!). We took a long time to order because we couldn't make up our minds. The Mahi Mahi, fish tacos, enchiladas and Mac n cheese were all fabulous. Their pork dishes also sounded excellent. Fun decor, big screen and bar. Tucked away by the Fauntleroy ferry...if you ever miss the boat...head a few blocks up the hill and enjoy a great meal until the next one arrives.

Best breakfast I had in Seattle!

By CAzpuru |

If you like breakfast/brunch to be big and bold, this is your place! the food is phenomenal, the portions are a good size, and the service is great. Add to that a nice looking bar, and you cannot help but have a great time. There's a line for this place, so bring your patience. But I promise the wait will be worthwhile!

Nice enough for brunch

By ditchnapper |

Pleasant environment for a Sunday brunch. Service was a bit slow, but they were pretty busy. Among our group, eggs benedict and mushroom omelet were good. Biscuits (and gravy) were cakey instead of crumbly. Huevos rancheros so-so: tortillas were crunchy rather than soft.

Solid kid-friendly restaurant

By Steve A |

Great locals restaurant right near the ferry terminal. There aren't a lot of restaurants in this pocket of town, so it has a bit of a monopoly. Regardless, it has a solid breakfast (prepare to wait) and a creative revolving themed menu. Very ambitious menu.

Lunch after Garden Tour

By jrose46 |

Joe's has a nice neighborhood ambiance and interesting decor. We enjoyed the Peruvian menu items: salads and sandwiches and a nice cold beer and wine after an usually warm Seattle day of touring gardens in West Seattle.

Meh, so bland

By gigiparis |

Looking forward to a low key dinner celebration for my Mom's 91st Birthday and Joe's was recommended. Well it was toooo low key. Nothing at all wrong but all the food I ordered was entirely without seasoning it seems. Grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and a forgettable vegetable. It was comfortable, but nothing special. Might go back for drinks and appetizers someday but not in a hurry for dinner.

Reliably good

By Jim B |

I have eaten all three meals there multiple times. It is reliably good and sometimes better. Part of a small local chain with high standards. Variety on the menu is created by running different themes that change every two or three months.

Fun breakfast/brunch place

By YoungLV |

I was staying in West Seattle and walked here for brunch on a Saturday. It was a very popular place, but I was traveling solo and didn't mind sitting at the counter. The service was quick and the food too. My favorite part was the $5 mimosas made with a special berry juice instead of orange juice. It's a nice spot for breakfast with a patio and everything tasted good. It was very casual and the price was just right. I didn't eat lunch or dinner here so I can't comment on that. If I were in W. Seattle again, I'd come back to this restaurant.

Great Lunch Gig!

By mint427 |

Endolyne Joe's changes in menu and atmosphere has made it a "go-to" place again for us. My visiting family and I tried the lunch menu and were pleasantly surprised at the prices, quantity and quality of food. It's a great place for Sunday brunch, but you have to arrive early or get reservations. Worth the effort for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just drinks and snacks.

Disgusting and Disappointed

By Deborah D |

Took long time to be served salad and soup. I requested bacon removed from my order but it was still on my salad upon arrival. Staff took salad back to be replaced but discovered more bacon once I had eaten it. Totally disgusting and disappointed!

Out of the way and worth finding

By lindahagenmiller@gmail.com |

Endolyne Joe's is named after a womanizing trolley conductor who hung out at the "end of the line." I like a good story with my breakfast, the Forager's Omelet, which was great and lasted me till dinner. Friends had equally yummy food. I'd go back if I lived nearby.

good funky kind of find.......

By roadroamers |

We found this place by chance while on vacation, on our way to a Lincoln Park. The others in our party saw it and figured it would suffice. I'm a motorcyclist, and seeing a group parked for lunch I knew it was going to be a good roadstop. It's an older building and they serve up a mix of several things; good bit of Mexican, turkey sandwich, BBQ sandwich; none of which disappointed. We didn't have any beers, but I could envision a pretty good evening/ night/ neighborhood bunch. Drop in, sure you'll like it...........

This is a favorite when we are in West Seattle. Consistently great food with changing specials. Breakfast with crispy potatoes is excellent, the blueberry coffee cake was awesome. Friendly service, warm atmosphere, what more can you want?

Fabulous spot in West Seattle neighborhood

By Mary Ann S |

We were staying in a guest house in West Seattle due to a death in the family. Needed a fun , happy place with great food in a welcoming environment. This was perfect. From the entertaining waiter to the deck with friendly patrons and a peaceful setting. It hit the bill. The ravioli dish was amazing. Ravioli in a broth sounded healthy but thought it might not have big flavor. I was wrong. This was one of the best vegetarian dishes I have ever eaten Kale and squash and mushrooms in a sauce that was velvety but not rich. My husband got the pork and raved about it. We also split a sundae because the child next to us kept saying how good it was. Best sundae in ages. Had caramel and chocolate and pecans What's not to love.

Rotating Themes

By JustOverPar |

I'll get to the food in a sec. What is fun and innovative about EJ, is they rotate their menu (and décor) themes on a regular basis. In essence this becomes many restaurants with menus changing according to the theme. CHICAGO was the theme when we were there, as reflected in the Chicago kitsch hanging above our heads and on the walls. Food. Onion rings, you had to cut with a knife and they were perfect, not squishy and greasy, and the aioli sauce was excellent. Flank steak was medium rare they way I ordered, with some tangy sauce, mashers and fresh steamed broc. Couldn't steal some fettucine from someone's plate because it was gone too fast. Mouth watering macaroni and cheese next to me. No room for desert. Can be crowded. Nighttime parking on the street and across the street.

Not worth it and not impressed

By Mick J |

Poor service, dirty, Bartender untrained. She must have had a bad day but the bar was empty. Why not try to wipe up the food lying around.

Needs a little more Cuba...

By Bradley1965 |

A nice location just down the road from Lincoln. I Would highly recommend this restaurant for a great place to meet after a school event, happy hour ect. More than likely a local spot. Service is personable though fast and frantic on a busy night. It would be a good idea to call ahead for reservations. The staff were extremely helpful with separate checks for our group. Hears the deal; I tasted a few items, calamari salad, fish tacos, pork sandwich, black beans, rice. All were ok. For a restaurant that touts Cuban flair. I wonder if anyone had been to Cuba lately? Everything tasted extremely bland and dry. In fact each item was slightly off temperature as if it was in the window a bit too long. In addition I ordered a Strawberry shake and it was thin, melted and very little strawberry flavor. Overall a nice attempt but fell short in the delivery.

Not clear that you can order off other menu

By Tenlee B |

I have always loved this place, great food! But on Facebook and on their website it shows their full menu so when I brought some people there at 11 we could only order from the breakfast and lunch menu NOT the dinner menu. Which was really upsetting since we love the "Georgia" theme and we had to chose other items we did not want. In the past our other (nicer) server was able to make arrangements to make help us out, our female server on Saturday was so rude about it, we may not go back.

Loud atmosphere but good food (including gluten-free)

By Lovetravel70 |

Went there for brunch w/ a group of 12. The waiter was very orgainzed by allowing us to order by check so we could pay separately. The food was good and there were several gluten-free options (the GF toast was really good). They have the local Marionberry jelly, which I loved. It was pretty noisy, but we had a great time.

Not quite up to par this time

By Todd A |

Having eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner several times at Endolyne Joe's in the past we were looking forward to a nice dinner to celebrate a birthday. On special was a pasta and seafood dish for about $25. The price seemed a little steep but with all the ingredients both my son and I wanted to try it. It was busy but the waitress was attentive and cheerful and brought three of the four dishes we ordered noting that there was a problem with the fourth dish but it would be out soon. We waited a bit and then the three of us with food decided to start eating because everything was getting cold. I had one of the seafood pasta plates (the other being late in arriving) and it was lukewarm; pasta partially uncooked and everything absolutely floating in oil. When my son's version of the dish arrived it didn't look anything like the first one delivered to me and included being covered in cheese, a cardinal sin in Italian seafood dishes. In addition to not appearing to be the same dish, my son's seafood pasta really wasn't much more edible than mine. Long story short: the waitress recognized the problem pretty quickly and offered to by us dessert. We really didn't want dessert so when she brought out the bill she had removed the seafood specials from our tab. Two points: the waitress handled this very well after the fact although one meal came out very late and she certainly could see that the two specials were not in any way similar when she served them. That said, she deserves great credit for doing her best to make something out of a bad dining experience and we will go back thanks to her good work. Second, if you have a "special" on the menu it stands to reason that your cooks know at least how to properly prepare that meal and that it should be consistent (and good) from plate to plate. As mentioned, we will go to Endolyne Joe's again but I was disappointed that a restaurant that always seemed to be pretty steady had let us down this time.

Wonderful atmosphere, Terrific Food

By Hoosierbud |

Gee, I wish I lived down the street from Endolyne Joe's, it would be a staple. We were taken there by a local who responded to my last meal in Seattle request of "good food, warm, inviting atmosphere, no pretension." Joe's lived up to every request. First, the staff could not have been more helpful and cheery. Next, the food was wonderful, each of the four of us had something different along with cold, local craft beers. We splurged and added desserts that were amazing. We were there a few minutes past 5:00PM on a Sunday and by the time we left, there was a waiting list, so be early. There's a small parking lot, another reason to eat early. The old building and the equally old bar are rustic and quaint but there's a neighborhood feel to the place that I just relished. Next hungry day in Indiana, I'll be pining for a visit to Endolyne Joe's in West Seattle.

Nice bar/restaurant close to the park

By John V |

I met friends here for lunch because it was close to Lincoln Park and had good reviews. The whole experience was kinda blah. Not bad just well...pretty average. I ordered the lamb burger and a side salad. The burger was tasty but short on meat. I think I've made better burgers by far at home. Friends had breakfast sandwiches which they seemed to enjoy. The staff was attentive and keep the coffee cups full. Looked like an outstanding place to drink with a wall of booze but we were there for a late breakfast/lunch. I'd certainly go back and give them another chance however my first visit was just lack luster. Maybe this was because it was a bright sunny day outside and we were sitting inside in..well a dark bar.

Ohhhhhh the Potatoes!

By PamMay2013 |

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Endolyne Joes! We went for lunch and breakfasts coming out of the kitchen looked so yummy that I ordered breakfast instead. We had a party of 8 and were seated quickly. The service was great. Our table enjoyed a mix of breakfast and lunch items. The food was excellent and the breakfast potatoes are a must! We will be sure to visit again.

Great neighborhood joint...

Great neighborhood joint & very family friendly. I love their "sour cream cloud cakes."

The Quintessential Neighborhood Restaurant

By Brian W |

I have enjoyed several breakfasts and lunches here but this time I met a large group of friends for dinner. The atmosphere here is just great. Lots of warm wood finishes, funky tables and separated dining areas. You always see lots of kids and families here. The open kitchen is fun to watch and there is a comfortable bar and outside seating when weather permits. I had the Romain and Blue Cheese Salad to start and it was excellent. Some julienned Radicchio added some great bitter notes and the salad was perfectly dressed with a light vinaigrette and topped with tastly blue cheese crumbles. My entree was the Duck and Grits. This was not as successful. The grits were quite bland, could use more cheese. The duck was well prepared but lacked flavor. The duck fat green beans were odd, I don't think duck fat added anything to the beans, just made them seem oily. The fresh peach salsa was great, had nice heat from jalapenos that played well with the fruit. Good wine list here and fairly priced. Men's room was out of paper towels and had a lot of used towel on the floor. I never like to see a restroom in a restaurant that isn't spotless. I can't help but like this place though and would come back.

Authentic, large Latino dishes

By TomM8132 |

The menu is periodically themed to a country or region, with many choices of the local cuisine. We visited when Cuba, and secondarily, Latin American were featured. I chose Cuban pork, which was marinated and/or stewed for a long time, resulting in a very tender and flavorful entree. And a huge one! And, I think, authentic. Also, with tons of tenderized fat in with the meat. Others in our party of ordered more sensibly had better luck with digesting their meal. I would advise sharing entrees if possible. The place was full, but we readily had a table without reservations. Service was prompt and friendly. The modest, all wood atmosphere was highlighted by evocative and often funny decorations toward the theme. Neighborhood feeling. Parking lot is modest, but fits the size of the restaurant -- in a pinch you can park within a block of the restaurant.

Great for families or by yourself

By R Warren L |

We have been to Joe's several times with our two grandchilren (10 and 12) and their parents. The food has been outstanding--good choices for all ages and tastes and the service has been great. We will go again either as a family or as a couple as we like the food, service, and casual and diverse atmosphere.

A "Perfect" Local Restaurant

By nwgray206@gmail.com |

Themed menus/decorations and wonderful staff make this a "must stop" when I am in the area. Best "Early Bird" breakfast specials in Seattle..!

Unique Dining

By Tracy S |

Ate here as our last meal before leaving Seattle. This place changes their menu every quarter to coincide with cuisine from around the US. When we visited, we were treated to food from Georgia. I had the roasted chicken and it hit the spot! Ic an't wait to visit them again when we return to Seattle.

Not a Chain Restaurant

By ESFFlorida |

I so enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant that was in walking distance to the house we were renting in Seattle. Having grown up in the city, and now residing for many years in suburbia it was a delight to just walk down the street to this lovely restaurant. We want back twice for lunch and drinks. The service staff was delightful, funny and accommodating. I'll be certain to return on my next visit. I had the turkey sandwich for lunch, twice. I'm a picky eater and I really enjoyed my three meals at Joe's.

Perfect for families & delicious!

By Amanda H |

Amazing place! The food is so good! My picky young eaters loved it! They highlight a different country each month which is so neat! They're buttermilk chicken is awesome! Priced well, good portions, good drinks! Our server was exceptional too! I would recommend trying out this gem! I would absolutely go back again!

Local Favorite

By pickyplanner |

Consistent and cozy. Friendly, professional and accomodating wait staff. They have a rotating themed menu every few months, with whimsical decor to match. (Current menu features Chilean inspired food and a giant stuffed alpaca hangs from the ceiling and Easter Island heads are lined up above the bar). The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in West Seattle and serves dedicated, local patrons. The space is open and inviting, albeit a with dim lighting in the back. They are know for their Sunday night fried chicken dinners, hardy breakfasts and happy hour. The "early bird" breakfast menu (ends at 11am) is a good deal. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait for happy hour seating in the bar area, and at peak dinning hours on weekends. The food is good, but not spectacular. They do a few things really well, and the rest is average, but not disappointing. They aim to please, and if you're unhappy with something, the generally try to make it right. Great spot to grab a drink, watch the game (on a muted TV, it's not a loud sports bar), and have some tasty bites off the happy hour menu and mingle with the locals. It's comfort food with a little flair and a welcoming, chill atmosphere.

Awesome First Visit

By Angeles |

Hope it goes this well next time. Brazilian Sweet Potato breakfast was awesome. And so cheap on M-F. Service was very good. Coffee refilled numerous times without asking. Nice and quiet for breakfast on a weekday. Looking forward to returning soon.

Best in Fauntleroy- West Seattle

By T40love |

First time there, -fun place with great food and breakfast all day, secret of the locals. Grand kids love the pancakes and old fashion milkshakes.

Super breakfast in a dog friendly neighborhood eatery.

By Stephen P |

We went for breakfast and that was perfect. This is a little dog friendly neighborhood eatery that does really good breakfast. Our hosts were well known regulars. There is a variety of breakfast fare. (I was fasting and so just tasted from my dining partners’ entrees.) There are good vegetarian choices. My breakfast buddies had an omelette with wild mushrooms and goat cheese with very nicely done oven-roasted potatoes. The coffee was excellent and our server even thought to bring a bowl of water for the dog without our asking. Service was prompt, thoughtful and familiar. We will go back, maybe to see what’s for lunch or dinner.

Good food but be prepared to make it a long affair

By PJAQH |

The food here is always great. Love the rotating themes (check ahead to see what they are doing when you plan to go). So you will never be dissappointed with the flavors. Now the service, wait times, and prices may ruin your experience. The service is not fast. They do not attend well to people regardless of the size of your party. I have been here with a group of 4 people, 10 people, and even their back room private dining area with 30 people. In every case it takes forever to get an order in and for the food to come out. And it never comes out all together. So plan ahead. No hungry grumpy kids should come in unless they can last a good 30 minutes to 40 minutes before they eat. The prices are what I would call spendee for West Seattle. Tea $3 per? and $12 eggs. So again be prepared. Every time I go I say I will not come back because of the prices and service but there are very limited options in their neighborhood which is probably the main reason they stay open. That and the yummy food. This time however I think I am done returning to the chaos that is Endolyne Joe's. When we go out we want to enjoy the entire experience not just the food. Not a relaxing place at all:(

Good local place

By somanyplaces |

We had both breakfast and lunch at this restaurant and the Brazilian influenced food was very good both times. It has a casual, friendly atmosphere and service was excellent - servers really knew about the dishes and made some great recommendations. No complaints at all from our group of five.

Great Sunday Fried Chicken Dinner

By 206SeattleNative |

If you are looking for the Sunday Night Family Style Fried Chicken dinner you better plan to show up before 5:30. We've been here twice and both times the restaurant was full by 5:30 and Fried Chicken was 86'ed by 7. Fried chicken is incredible. The carrots are very good. The mashed potatoes and gravy are a little peppery for my taste but everyone else in our party of 6 loved them. One time the biscuits were not very good but the second time they were awesome. Good service good food. We will go back.

Great Neighborhood Restaurant

By Richard D |

This place a favorite of locals and those who follow restaurant reviews. I've been out of the Seattle dining scene for many years I'll have to admit there are some very fine restaurants on the eastside and north end of town would rather visit. But for a neighbor restaurant this isn't bad. The "all-day breakfast" I thought would be a safe bet, but mine was burnt. On the whole, lunch service was mediocre at best, however the atmosphere was great. I'd be willing to try this place again during the evening service and not judge the place on the one trip.

Ate Breakfast

By Mark H |

I'm not a huge breakfast eater but had the burrito and it was good. Nice chorizo and sauce. Wife had French Toast. Everyone was happy with the food. Nice Peruvian vibe.

Well worth it

By daverave532 |

We took the ferry over from Vashon Island because there was only one Mexican joint near where we were staying at the north end of the island. Had happy hour at the bar with the very friendly staff then dinner in the dining room. The theme was the country of Chile while we were there and it was an interesting organizing principle for the decor and menu. Service was very good and the food better than most at a pretty reasonable price point for Seattle. I'd go back again if I was ever in the neighborhood.

Nice

By Scott H |

My wife and I stopped here Sunday for brunch. very nice place we enjoyed it. The food was good, the service was average, a little slow but it was very busy so understandable. I do like the rotating theme, but always good at a fair price. You will enjoy it in West Seattle.

Friendly local place

By Michele H |

I recently moved to this part of Seattle and have now been to Endolyne Joes 3 times - once for lunch and twice for breakfast. All three times the service and food was great. It's close to the Vashon ferry line so weekends can be busy. Last time I went we sat at the bar because there was a wait for tables - we were thoroughly entertained by the bartender during our meal, which was fun. Food is plentiful and the breakfast crispy potatoes are awesome. Would recommend if in the area!!

Fried Chicken - Family Style!

By loopycynic |

We all shared the Fried Chicken with Fries (for a family of 4). Very kid friendly. I would say the breast was on the dry side. Thighs were just OK. I've had better fried chicken. We needed family (well, to be honest, kid friendly) and this place is definitely that.

Great breakfast!

By tatts15 |

Met friends for a late breakfast. Lots of great options in a funky environment. Very friendly staff - thanks to Whitney who took such good care of us. I ordered the corned beef hash. An interesting and awesome twist on a traditional offering - very tender chunks of corned beef in a tasty potato pancake of sorts. Topped with two perfectly cooked poached eggs. Very unique and delish. Would go out of my way to have the hash again!! Highly recommend!!

Hit or Miss?

By AlaskaScubaGirl |

The food was alright but the service was so lousy I'm surprised they rate well. Have eaten here a couple times for lunch. I think it is about 25% overpriced compared to other nearby restaurants. The man who seated us both times was nice but then totally looked right through us the rest of the time. The place was not busy but one meal came out much later than the other two and not very hot. A glass of milk never showed up despite asking twice. Our waitress was hard to find and it was not shift change time . We had to go looking for someone to bring coffee and more water.

Very Tasty

By Charlie D |

Excellent breakfast. Had the 1/2 smoked hash brown, very unique and flavorful. All food tasted excellent. Service was very good and friendly. Great place.

Every bite sip and conversation is fantastic

By Steve S |

Hidden gem where it only takes one visit to get acquainted with the friendly staff! The restaurant has a fun yummy regular menu that is complemented by a themed menu that is based on a geographic region and it's cuisine. The regional themes last about 4 months. Recently the theme changed from Peru to Miami and the Peru-themed ceviche was so excellent that it is now on the regular menu. Mouth watering food. Can't wait to return time and time again!!

A favorite place to eat when we are in Seattle

By Harvey6f |

We (six adults) had the Sunday evening fried chicken dinner. More than enough, of some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten, for maybe 7 or 8 folks. Thank goodness for take-home boxes. As always, the service was friendly and attentive.

Comfort food in a comfortable restaurant

By CaTraveler7777 |

We walked in for dinner on a Friday night and the place was decorated as a Cuban restaurant in Miami with a dozen Cuban items on the menu. But it turns out that it's not a Cuban restaurant, but it's just one version of the restaurant; they change out the decoration and food theme on a regular basis. We were seated in a corner booth and a happy waiter came by to serve us. We ordered and then listened to the people in the open kitchen shouting and repeating the orders. The food came and it was all good. Caesar salad, pork loin, fish tacos, grilled salmon and macaroni and cheese. The pork loin had some particularly good sweet potato hash. Great for kids too; they have crayons and coloring paper for them.

Yummy and big breakfast

By deebk |

We are having a stay/cation and had heard great things so checked it out for breakfast - did not disappoint. Fresh squeezed ok was amazing - bacon was great too. Hubby got a scramble. Of we lived a bit closer we would be back a lot but just may make the trip to try lunch and dinner some time

Cute bustling restaurant with great drinks and food.

By Konda N |

Drinks were great. Had a Bloody Mary that was super. It is a busy place with great combinations of breakfast plates. We had something with a southwestern flair and it was delicious. We go everytime we are in Seattle. The portions are large so we usually split a plate

Wonderful food and service!

By nurselaura2001 |

We had breakfast and dinner here! Wonderful outdoor patio for breakfast. The food is absolutely delicious!

A great brunch!

By QueenTraveler22 |

Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The menu is well-marked for dietary issues, and I had plenty of choice, despite being lactose-intolerant and gluten-sensitive. The pork sausage was great! And my husband's Coral Way Coconut French Toast was epic!

Fun food, fun venue

By 522joycec |

The restaurant rotates their themes - we experienced the Hawaiian Theme - Hawaiian based food and Hawaiian decor. I especially enjoyed the paoched eggs on sweet potato hash with amazing sourdough bread. I can't wait to go back!

One of the coolest neighborhood restaurants in Seattle

By LLFauntleroy |

This restaurant is located at the "end of the line" of the old West Seattle street car, hence "End-o-lyne". This respect for tradition in the name carries forth to the cuisine, which is carefully selected around location-based cuisine themes that last a couple of months, like the foods of "Chicago", "Santa Fe", "New Orleans". The menus then have selections from those areas, and art and sculptures decorating the dining room depicting these visiting locales. This makes it exciting to eat at Joe's. The open-view kitchen bustles with frying pans and flames, a large kitchen crew getting everything out on time and hot. The dark wood, brass and mirrored bar cranks out the pre-dinner drinks, beer and wine promptly, early enough to be sipping while we read the menu. The food is ample, tasty and textured, what's supposed to be crisp is, nothing is ever over-cooked. The servers are speedy and friendly, with distinctive "can do" attitudes. We are in Seattle 5 or 6 times a year and hit Joe's every time, for both breakfast and dinner, the cuisine themes cover all three meals. If you want some eating adventure, and can get over to the hills overlooking the water, then this is a great place to go.

The "Beach" in West Seattle; Great Kale, Spinach, & Goat Cheese Omlette

By Miles Bde |

We eaten here many times and it is always terrific! We love the motif changes from Hollywood, to Texas, and now to the Beach; it is so much fun! We take lots of pictures and bring friends and family. This time the chef really out did himself with a fabulous kale, spinach, and goat cheese omelette special of the day. It was perfection! How they got the each ingredient to the exact temperature and consistency is amazing. The kale was warm, tender, and fresh; the spinach warm and fresh, and the goat cheese was just right. Always good, always fun!

A Favorite

By Mike M |

The menu choices will require several visits. It’s a great menu that is surpassed by the great service and fantastically prepared food. Each time you eat here you will add another menu item to your favorites list. You will hear plenty of “mmmmmmm” sounds all around the restaurant. Try it once, you will return.

Sunday Night Chicken-Mostly Very Good

By Hoosierbud |

Easter Sunday night and 8 family members meet at Endolyne Joe's for the family chicken dinner. First, I love the atmosphere at Joe's, always welcoming, always tidy and a wait staff that's like family. Grading the chicken dinner, served family style, let's begin at the top of the scale, the chicken is an A+. Fried to perfection and extremely tasty. This is the chicken you dream about! Mashed potatoes, A although they weren't served in abundance. Carrots, C+ at best.Biscuits, B- and don't tell grandma I gave this high of a grade to her specialty. Service was excellent, never wavered and always with a smile, a sincere thank you. Cold IPA for those drinking and served quickly. Overall, a B. $17.50 per person, $13.50 for kids, plus tax and tip. A fair price with more potatoes and better veggies. Or more beer! Would I take 8 people who like fried chicken and return to Joe's on a Sunday night. Absolutely.

Hidden Secret!

By Rachel T |

I love this place. They have the best hash browns and bloody maries hands down in West Seattle. I especially love the service and the kindness that truly makes this a magical place!

Kinda' Noisy, But Delicious Breakfast Items

By lim48 |

Six of us visited Joe's on a Saturday around 12:30 p.m. for brunch to celebrate our buddy's 70th birthday. Atmosphere is a bit noisy with lots of families and quite the crowd. No one left unhappy, though I believe one wished he'd ordered something other than the pancakes...maybe something more creative next time. My wife had the Pig In The Orchard Omlette: house made pork sausage, Granny Smith apples, carmelized onions & white cheddar cheese with a side of crushed red potatoes and a homemade biscuit ($13.75). I had the Cajun Country Benedict: a biscuit split and topped with fried shaved Tasso ham, a pair of perfectly cooked poached eggs & very mild and lemony Tabasco Hollandaise sauce with a side of crushed red potatoes ($14.50). We both loved our choices, but I think I could eat an entire plateful of their soft, but crispy crushed red potatoes topped with Hollandaise. They are, IMHO...killer! The decaf I had was on the heavy duty end of the spectrum...strong stuff for unleaded. But I'm not complaining. I'll take that any day over the weak, watery stuff I'm served in many other restaurants. Service by Tianna was efficient and friendly. We were a fairly vocal and sometimes indecisive group of seniors. But she laughed along with us and made sure we all had what we needed without being obtrusive. We're now talking about returning here as a group for brunch every other month!

Sunday night chicken dinner - just like the old days

By Amy P |

Endolyne Joe's does a Sunday night chicken dinner with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, and biscuits for about $18 per person. We had a group of 4 and were served family style with an enormous platter of food. I don't make fried chicken at home and rarely make gravy so this was a treat. The food was plentiful (enough for lunches the next day for all), served warm, and well prepared. Nothing fancy but also not greasy or low quality. Get there early before they start at 5pm or come later - it is popular. The only thing against it is that they don't take reservations (at least not for smaller groups) and even though we were there at 5 we had to take a table in the bar. It worked but wasn't as comfy as the restaurant seating. Service was attentive and prompt.

Enjoyed.

By Jason A |

Stopped in for a late dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu choices and quality of our meals. Would have been fun to sit and drink some beer at the bar, but I was driving. Would go back again, enjoyed the half a chicken plate.

Off the beaten path, but so worth it!

By Richard |

First time here. The place was great! Really good food, really good service with a home town feel. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean including the restroom. There was lots of off street parking, plus a lot next door. This place fills up fast, but is worth the wait to get in.

Local

By Mike S |

Joe's is good local restaurant. The food ranges from good to very good. The staff is friendly but still work off of tips.

Loved our brunch

By Cat Carrier |

We needed a place for our party of 6 to meet and have brunch on a weekday. This place came recommended by friends living nearby. The service was professional and friendly. We were seated outside which was comfortable and shaded. Food was a selection of American brunch standards. Everyone was pleased. I will be back!

A destination worth missing the ferry to Vashon for...

By Mitch_K2012 |

Or make a special trip just for the Blunch! We finally got to give this place a try and will definitely be back to try dinner. Part of the Chow Foods group (The Hi-Life in Ballard, and 5-Spot in the Queen Anne neighborhoods) these folks really know how to do Dinner Comfort food! We enjoyed a creative egg scramble and some tasty carmel Apple French toast. Plenty of room in this boisterous location for friends and family. Portions are large and prices are not cheap, but definitely a good value.

Cool place, decent food

Came here for breakfast while visiting from out of state. Cool restaurant with a laid back feel. We both got a weekday special that was $6.75, good deal for huge portion. My mom got the slinger and it was delicious. I got the sweet potato hash with poached eggs on top. It was just ok, one of the eggs was over cooked. The service here was also a bit slow. Might be a fun night spot with patio and full bar.

Most Improved...

I was a fan of Endolynes when it first opened and we went often, considering we live on Vashon. It was always good, rotating themes kept it interesting...and then they went into a slump and we gradually stopped going..we just returned in May 2012 after 2-3 year period. Theme was Texas and the food and sevice were both top notch.

Family friendly great spot!

We love this place for breakfast and lunch and while dinner is less consistent it's usually quite good. We probably go here twice a month on average and the menu rotates. They have a regular menu that is always available plus a theme menu that rotates quarterly. Example: New Orleans theme they had beignets and muffalettas and jambalaya. It's super family friendly and there are always kids there. If you want a less kid filled spot you can sit in the bar which is well stocked and serves the full food menu. The back room can be reserved for a private party. It's really a great place in our favorite West Seattle neighborhood.

Get there early

I've been here many times at various times and it is always busy. The food is good but there is limited off street parking. Conveniently located near the Fauntleroy ferry terminal.

Average breakfast. A little pricey.fruit served with breakfast was mediocre. Good home fries .Expensive coffee and it wasn't worth it.

Mac and cheese very good. Onion rings out of this world! ♡ side salad ... should have requested dressing on the side. Excellent service. Nice vibe.

Lunch while waiting for the ferry

A good go to place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Todays’s BLT with avocado was ok. Smothered in mayo - too much mayo. Will know how to order next time. Great service, friendly staff, good cold beer. Just too much mayo.

Ok, but a little overrated

Not quite sure why this place is so popular. I live very near by so I have been there 4 or 5 times and the quality of the food has been quite inconsistent. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and one time it was very good and the next it was very dry and tasted like it had been left out for a day or two. Unless you are going to the happy hour or the "not so early bird breakfast" the prices are quite exorbitant for the quality of food. The waitstaff has always been very good, but one of the older male bartenders is quite aloof and quite the goofball, so be prepared for that. I would not go out of my way to eat here, but because it is so close to me, I am sure I will be back.

Blunch

We've been here several times over the years. Always a favourite for blunch (breakfast/lunch) on the weekends. It can get busy and crowded but there is usually a quick turnover. Food is fresh and flavourfull. They have monthly themes to the restaurant and food which changes it up - so not the same ol same ol day in day out.
