What a great spot! Lots of inventive choices and super yummy sauces! Our server was excellent and the whole experience was lovely! We left feeling full but not overly full after a few apps, dinner and sharing dessert. Nice cozy atmosphere!

Had a great time there last night. Food was very good, presentation was very good, nice space with sunlight coming in. Prices are 10-12 for most things which is good these days. Inventive food was like nothing I have had. Also good drinks. Waited a little bit for the food but they came by several times and apologized for it. Service was great. Highly recommend.

Epif offers delicious, unusual and colorful vegan meals, try it, you'll like it. The food is based on South American cuisine and adapted to fit perfectly into a gourmet plant based diet.

Great small vegan restaurant specializing in South American cuisine. Our first visit to Portland and the first dinner we had. The turmeric ice cream was amazing.

Been trying to get by and eat at Epif for about 6 months. So glad I finally was able to be in Portland when they were open. The food is vegetarian with vegan options and is uniquely delicious! The empanadas are a must!

A small group of friends and I went for a birthday get together. It was my first time at Epif and I would love to go back. We had a vegan, a gluten free vegan, a gluten free allergy, a nut free but okay for cashews, and a meat eater-so lots of accompadate and we all left having a great meal and time. The menu is diverse and fun! There are several appetizers, small plates, medinos, and grande, as well as different salsas and desserts. We ordered the chips and salsa, several medinos plates, and the empanadas. I would ask about their special empanadas-the sweet potato version was awesome. The causa was interesting, but not my favorite, maybe it was the texture. The chips and salsa were such a good thing to try, and the ceviche was just amazing. The blueberry seasonal ice cream with sugared mint leaf was so good! The service was wonderful and I would recommend anything and everything, to anyone here! Between all of us, we split the check and it was about $21 for just me-great price for a great meal for me.

Showed up right when they opened at 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Was told that tables with menus on them were "reserved" -- although when we left a hour and a half later, I noticed that most of those very same tables remained totally empty the entire we were there. I think they might rethink their reservation process ... Otherwise, I loved the decor, the drinks were delicious and reasonable during happy hour and the munchies we had were out of this world! Didn't taste "vegan" at all -- whatever that means. Just plain good food! Service warmed up after a while ... after a slightly chilly start. Would I go back? In a flash!

Birthday dinner, well done! - every dish was amazing - the salsas are fabulous. Cocktails must try. The bar is made from old castoff skateboards. This place does flavor pairing very well.

Great vegan restaurant. Food and service were excellent. Had the Chips and Salsa, and Pastel del Choclo. It was really good.

A meat-eater loves this place! Travelled with vegan family members. Epif is a little, not at all fancy restaurant which serves great tasting food and a low price. We had squash empanadas, guiso and a roasted beet bisque.

Get the salsas, all of them. The atmosphere is terrific with reclaimed wood decor. Food us fantastic, the appetizers and mains. Creative cocktails and espresso that is beyond good, served with a special bubble water side. Vegan chocolate cheesecake better than any cheesecake we tried anywhere.

I've been a vegan for a long time, and there's a few types of cuisine types that I've just never had. South American is one of them, and I'm so glad we went here! Loved the crispy empanadas and the ceviche. Wow! Super satisfying, complex, and well integrated flavour combinations. Oh, and I had my first pisco sour -- which was extra sour -- and I loved it! I'd move to Portland just because it's so darn fun to be a vegan there....

Our family enjoyed our favorite dinner in Portland at Epif. Our server was attentive and helpful. The food was outrageously good. We ordered sopaipillas, causes, and empanadas and everything was incredible. The Pisco spurs were delicious too. This a must for any vegans traveling to Portland!

Quaint and cozy southeast restaurant with great vegetarian food. Vegan is available. Full bar featuring Pisco Sours. We were with four people so we ordered one of everything and shared. It was a very fun evening.
Sublime!
This vegan restaurant is truly exquisite. The ambiance, the inventive food, the complex flavors. What a treasure, truly.
