The meal was so so. I expected more. I ordered a Cajun dish and there was nothing Cajun/creole about it. The plantains were over cooked - mushy. Served large portion for the entree. I had a sushi roll from the happy hour menu - spicy tuna. The tuna was mushy like it had been in a grinder. Tuna had no texture. The rice on the roll had a slight chill.

I just love this place. I have spent time in Japan, and this is as good as anything I have had there. The only drawback is the ongoing road construction in the area.

We ordered a large lunch for delivery and loved everything. The sushi was fresh and tasted amazing. There's a dedicated "gluten free sushi rolls" menu. We tried the GF Spicy Tuna roll, GF Rainbow roll, and the GF Flaming V.I.P. roll, and requested that the third roll was without the mayo. Everything was gluten and dairy free. We will definitely order again!

It would be hard to find a better sushi restaurant anywhere! Absolutely spectacular food and service. Fresh and flavorful. Prompt and courteous. They obviously take a lot of pride in their food, and it shows. The wait staff seemed genuinely interested in making our meal one to remember. They succeeded! We will be back!

Good selection, always clean, not packed on weekdays lunch time. Food tastes great and portions are quite big!

I have been to Eurasia sushi several times with friends and family. Eurasia is consistently good, sometimes it is great! I would like to see the greatness be more consistent. When we go we get a big sushi/sashimi for two type of platter. It is truly delicious, I have had other things there, but this is my favorite. We have had dessert there, i always get the Eurasia creme brulle. The service here is good, sometimes great, but it amkes me sad that there seems to be a high turnover of servers. Overall I really like Eurasia and we will go back for sure.

We've been here several times, now, for lunch and dinner, and it is a welcome addition to southwest Austin restaurants. Excellent service every time. Sushi choices and rolls are great. We haven't tried any of their Indonesian specialties, yet. Nice full bar area. In a large shopping center.

We have been coming to Eurasia for a number of years. The last couple of times we have dined there the food has been fantastic and reasonably priced. Thursday night we booked a table for a party of six. After ordering drinks, it took forever for drinks to be delivered. We ordered sushi for appetizers, which again took an unreasonably amount of time to arrive. I had to flag down the server to take our dinner orders. The food was fantastic, service not so much.

Staff was really friendly. The service wasn’t too tight but it was a busy weekend night. Atmosphere is light and welcoming. For me, the food was acceptable but not exceptional. It’s a bit kitschy. Bar area is large and set apart from dining area which is always a plus. Full bar.

From the CALAMARI E SCALOGNI, to the classic rolls (Philadelphia with smoked salmon and the Spicy Scallop are favorites) to the special, Flaming Tiger Roll (spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and other goodies) encased in a tin foil tent and served on fire, Eurasia comes through with classics and their unique dishes that have us coming back over and over again.

We were visiting Austin and Eurasia is one of our friends favourite sushi places. Services was exceptional and we loved everything we tried. Our friends ordered so I am not sure of the exact names, but we had these amazing cherry blossoms (raw tuna in a crisp cup, a squid salad, yum, and tempura fried peppers (tiny, green, and not overly spicy) We also had 3 different kind of sushi , so delicious. Hoping for a repeat meal when we are back in Austin.

We enjoyed our first visit to Eurasia Sushi Bar & Seafood this week. The restaurant is located in a nondescript strip mall in Oak Hill, which is working on developing beyond its downscale The "soft opening" of this restaurant allows for the waitstaff and kitchen to coordinate a bit better without the crush of a fully-publicized opening, and our experienced showed it is a good idea. Our waiter was very helpful, and informed us of which choices would be good depending on our tastes. We ended up going with a combination of sushi rolls (both warm - crunchy shrimp and Flaming Tiger specialty roll, served on fire in an aluminum foil tent. We also ordered an Indonesian fish dish (whole fish on a plate of banana leaves, topped with Sriracha-like garlic hot pepper sauce). All of it very tasty, though the creamy topping of the Flaming Tiger overwhelmed the innards a bit. The fish was good also, but maybe a tiny bit overcooked. We showed our ignorance of Indonesian cuisine but not expecting a full fish on a plate, but I think we recovered nicely (with the help of the wait staff). To a person, the wait staff is excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They are a highlight of the restaurant and hopefully the level of service provided will remain as high as it is now during the soft opening. The biggest issue might be the toughest to overcome: the perception that prices may be a bit high. Prices here are more in line with a downtown restaurant; this may not work in far SW Austin and might need to be addressed in some way. Lunch prices look more reasonable. In general, I wish for the best, and hope Eurasia stays open as long as the owners want to be here. We need as many good dining options as we can get here in our part of the city. I'll be back, but likely more for lunches than full dinners.

The mix of Asian dishes and a first rate sushi bar is something we have not found on the southwest end of Austin! Super impressed with the Pho and the daily sushi specials as they are fantastic and very different from other restaurant offerings. Prices are reasonable and the happy hour has great deals on a nice little menu before the rush. We go here often and have yet to have anything that is even average.....

I stopped in here with my sister when I was visiting Austin based upon other Yelp reviews and its location on our Drive. It was a very nice decor and lighting. They offer Indonesian food so we decided to try one of those Specialties and ignored the suggestion made by our server (which I think turned out to be a mistake.) We ordered the Pompano. (a fish and I can't remember the name on the dish on the menu) it was prepared and served as a whole fish which is nice because then you can verify that you're actually get getting what you ordered:-) but it also means that comes with bones. Though I found the fish to be quite fresh and delicious it lacked in any real exciting flavor other than the sauces served on the side which were a sweet sauce and a hot sauce. The seaweed salad that we ordered was actually quite delicious! Also, only 3 slices of cucumber came with the fish and I'm a big veggie eater so I was disappointed with that. In hindsight I wished I had ordered something else because they look like they have really good rolls and sushi here. The (cheaper) sake we got was too sweet for our taste. If I lived here I would definitely come back again and try a different dish!

We've been eating here pretty regularly since they first opened. They have some nice Happy Hour Specials. One of our favorites is the Cherry Blossom, a crisp shell with spicy tuna in it. The crawfish hand rolls are unusual and tasty too. We've enjoyed consistent fresh tasting food here every time. They're generally pretty busy. This is one of the better sushi restaurants around.

Average atmosphere, Average Sushi, Nice Bar zone. Serviceable Sushi restaurant, but missing the finer points of a "nice place". Take your kids here, not someone you want to impress, ie. Date, Boss etc. If you are looking for fine sushi in a cool environment, go elsewhere IMO.

The staff was super friendly . They had my order ready to go and I just verified everything was there and it looked beautiful. SW Austin gem is perfect for online order pick up or delivery... they have a beautiful indoor feeding available but right now it is temporarily closed for the coronavirus pandemic. @EurasiaSushiAustin #Sushi #Bar #Austin #ATX #Texas #SupportLocal #restaurants need your help.... #CoronaVirus #Covid19 be dammed... #Foodie #FoodieATX #AustinFoodie #AustinEats #NomNom #Lifestyle #Photography #PicOfTheDay #Photo #Photographer #Photogram #Blog #Blogger #Namaste

We had an hour wait but it was Friday and we had a large group. There was live music and our waiter was funny and made our experience wonderful! The food was amazing . We shared and tried everything. We had a variety of sushi, raw fish , crab cake, Indonesian pot roast etc everything was exquisite!

Best start to finish! Unique drinks. Sushi all different for every taste. Watch them make it on TV! Indonesian. The Obama Favorite is Wow!

I had a rather poor opinion of this dining choice due to my perception of the Location. But I was totally wrong. Blown away by the food. Creative, high quality and generous portions. Very inexpensive given quality. We are going back and bringing friends!

We dined at the sushi bar last weekend and it was fantastic! The sushi rolls and sashimi was fresh and flavorful. My 6 year old daughter gobbled up the raw calamari! The sushi chef was very nice and even made her a carrot butterfly oragami- which she actually ate on our way out! They have happy hour every day. It's not massively discounted but certainly will entice us to get dinner on the early side. Both drinks and food discounted by a few dollars.

Very good sushi items. Also have Indonesian dishes, which are not so easy to find elsewhere. After living in Bali for many, many years, these dishes are comfort food and they do them well. The Kobe beef appetizer on hot rock was very good as were the salads. Easy to find location. Friendly staff, will be going in for another dinner on my next visit, which hopefully is soon!

We have visited before and will return often. The interior is lovely and such a change from the previous restaurant. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is fresh and there are other tasty choices for those who don't want sushi. I had their Creole Grouper and it was very flavorful. The best roll I have had so far is the Hot Mama. It is a light tempura roll that is presented beautifully and tastes even better than it looks. Go and try it, find your favorites and go back and have them again.

My wife and I make it over to EurAsia every chance we get. There’s always delicious sushi, the menu covers a whole host of Asian cuisine, and the service there is always great. Good people and food right in your neighborhood! Keep it coming!

Ok rolls. Must try other items before passing final judgement. Drinks are good and reasonably priced and service is good.

Great late lunch, we over ordered and loved everything and when we realized had to run b/c we were late to get to the airport, the owner came out. Order Flaming Tiger Roll, seaweed salad, poke, ceviche, ell over clear noodles, green tea, miso soup - all lovely, going back again! To be a 5 star, I would have needed to have eaten something otherworldly and that I'd never had before - not this trip but willing to keep trying. <3

This is the third time we have eaten at Eurasia and it has been fantastic each time. The Heaven and Earth roll and Flaming Tiger rolls are simply amazing. Having eaten sushi all across the nation and overseas, Eurasia certainly stands up to some of the best.

They have an excellent selection of Sushi and seafood. The chefs are very talented and the food is super fresh. Beautiful decor and great staff to round it out. Southwest Austin in the Oakhill area. #Austin #ATX #TX #Blogger #Blog #ContentCreator #Foodie #Travel #TripAdvisor #Wanderlust #Namaste

We had heard great things already about Eurasia, we just needed to try it out ourselves. We normally travel down to Stassney and I-35 for sushi but so glad we have this gem in our hood so we can ride share home cheaper if need be. The vibe was cool with good current music playing not too loudly in the background, modern decor, and super helpful staff. Our girl Tyler hooked us up with great recommendations and a free creme brulee for my bday (YUM!) It is one of the several desserts that are actually house-made. We had the Creamy Crawfish Hand Roll (yum!), the Philadelphia Roll (classic), the All-in-One Roll (good but pieces hard to fit in your mouth since the roll is huge :), the Rainbow Roll (OMG the portions of fish were ridiculously huge!), and lastly the Tuna on Fire Roll. Oh, we also had some fresh sushi-the Walu and Yellowtail which were melt-in-your mouth delicious! I would recommend all of the above rolls and sushi but the Tuna on Fire roll is mostly for show because it literally is on fire when they bring it to you. Hubby didn't like the burnt flavor it added to the roll and I did my best to eat it all! Next time we will do like Tyler suggested and order chef's choice; you can get several pieces of sushi with or without rolls added. I'm sure no matter what they pick it would be delicious! I can foresee this becoming one of our new favorite places since I could eat sushi every day but unfortunately I couldn't afford it, ha ha. That being said, the prices are very reasonable and competitive with some of our favorite places. We also want to try the seafood dish entrees, they look amazing. Tyler--if you read this, unfortunately I didn't win the lotto with my bday numbers last night but if I do I won't forget you! :-)

We visited in large groups and the had no problem accommodating us. Sushi was very fresh and it was fun seeing it prepared in the "sushi cam". My sashimi salad was great as well. They had amazing pizzas and Mac and cheese for the kids, which was a bonus! Service was amaxing..

A great dining experience. The food was fresh and flavorful, the owner and staff gracious and helpful, and the casual and fun vibe contagious. We had a good time sitting at the sushi bar watching and interacting with the chefs. Our Japanese friend was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the raw fish. Avoid Central Austin and the over-priced and over-lined "gastro" places and head out 290 West for fine food and plenty of parking.

Had the happy hour Gyoza, Hamachi and Edamame. Then the Hamachi Kama. Really good food and service. Also, loved the interiors. Will definitely go back.

This is a neighborhood gem that’s located in a nice strip plaza at the Oak Hill 290and 71 split. All the sushi and sashimi I’ve tried is very good. They serve all quality types of bluefin as sashimi and its all good. For even more choices there is an Indonesian section on the menu. We have tried a good number of these and enjoyed them all too. Decor is nice and the bar is a separate area.

Came here for dinner after axe throwing a couple of doors down. Staff is awesome and the food was OUTSTANDING!!! Sushi extremely fresh and tasty.

My husband and I had a delicious dinner here! It is hard to find a sushi place in our neck of the woods. Especially that I am the high maintenance one, gluten, dairy and soy free eating. I have to say we walked in the door it was a great atmosphere and the place is brand new the bar is beautiful oh wait there’s two bars a sushi bar and then a regular bar and then plenty of seating. OK so my husband is not perfect either he has one bad ear, he doesn’t like loud music. The music is great and he can actually have a conversation in, hear his wife. So far so good. The appetizer we ordered was Shishito peppers, they were sautéed with cracked red pepper and were amazing. There was garlic two, by the way I love very spicy food. These were very hot! The first order was the veggie roll, spider roll and then the spicy tuna roll. We liked the spider roll and then the spicy tuna roll the best. I wasn’t prepared for the veggie roll being pickled. I can’t forget to tell you that since I can’t eat soy, soy sauce is not available to me to dip my sushi rolls in. So the manager was walking by and I asked him for the same oil the Shishito peppers were cooked in - garlic and cracked red pepper sauce. It was at my table with in minutes. Our sushi chef was Pablo, he custom made the Oak Hill roll so that I could have one that was gluten dairy and soy free, and of course my husband could have the regular one. It was delicious! I can’t forget our waiter, he was very prompt and there when we needed him, Jhony is his name! We are coming back soon and with friends! Ug, they brought a dessert Mochi made from rice and dairy. My husband ate it before we could take a picture. We recommend!!!!!

Great sashimi platter for two and a CA roll - really good quality. Excellent service. Fairly reasonable prices. All around a real winner for us. Wonderful ambiance. We’ll be back!

So impressed with this brand new Sushi Seafood restaurant & bar located in the Southwest Austin area known as The Oak Hill Y. The attention to detail and the talent and creativity of the Sushi Chefs will keep me coming back often.

We visited on a Sunday night and the place was full. We arrived at 6:20, were seated in a two person crowded table, and at 6:45 we were able to order a Miso Shiru (2 @ $3), a Eel Sashimi ($ 14) and a EurAsia Sashimi Dinner ($ 45). At 6:55 we got the Miso which was good but at best warm not hot. Fifteen minutes later we got the Eel Sashimi which was disappointing since it was cut very this. At $ 14 it's a bad value. At 7:30 we received the EurAsia Sashimi Dinner and it was 21 pieces of thinly cut 7 types of fish. It was decent but not as fresh as similar strip mall Japanese places in the area. Both Cho and Tadashi offer better value on a Sashimi meal. We may visit again to try their Indonesian food, but not for Sashimi. The service and Kitchen's promptness left a lot to be desired.

"Bakso Sapi Special that I order was horrific, the meat balls were unidentifiable and rubbery and the broth was old tasting and rancid, also had a pice of something in the broth that to me look like grissel and parte of "menudo". Did not have the quality that is expected of EurAsia. Sorry but on a scale of 1 to 10 to me is a 00."

I decided to try the Eurasia Sushi Bar and Seafood at the recommendation of a friend. My friend and I were the only customers in the restaurant the entire time we were having our meal. That was the first red flag. I ordered combination fried rice, which is traditionally a simple to make meal. The menu said that there would be beef, chicken, and shrimp in the dish. The serving was very large, but there was not one shrimp embedded in the rice. My friend ordered an angus steak, and he had to wait a very long time, as my dish was served first. No one came to check on us while we ate, and if we needed an item, we had to search for someone to ask. Perhaps the restaurant's sushi is better than what we ordered.
Evening dinner
Loved the atmosphere. Comfortable seating and great lighting. The water feature dividing bar from dining room is cool. Our server was delightful, she was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great laugh. The goyza dumpling soup is great! We had 2 specialty rolls. The Geisha roll is my favorite. What a great addition to our area. I hope a great happy hour is part of their program.
