Stopped in for some wonderful appetizers to share! Loved all the windows. Good fun evening. Great service too.

Eureka is a great spot for some brews (rotating taps) and small batch whiskey, while the food is legit as well, especially small bites during happy hour.

Due to COVID they do charge a automatic 15% gratuity and you have to order everything through the phone and pay through the phone before which is kinda annoying when you’re trying to order beverages and can’t just keep a tap open. But they did warn us of all they’re new arrangements at the beginning and we decided to make the best out of the situation but the reason for my one star rating is that when we received our appetizer which was a large order of chicken wings everyone from the group went to dig in and to our surprise the wings were not only cold but the inside was clearly not cooked it was very pink and blubbery still and when we brought it to their attention they right away took them back and made us a brand new batch which I will agree they were better than the first ones since they were actually not pink this time but they were still very blubbery due to the fact that they still were not completely cooked plus after the first experience it was kinda hard to enjoy them after experiencing biting into a raw wing. On top of all that we felt like the service was lacking and it could be due to the fact that they have you pay ahead of time including gratuity so it felt like they didn’t really care to make our experience any what better instead they would forget our drinks and when we would ask for something you can just tell we only had half of our waitress attention. The waitress explained to us that they recently just switch to these new chicken wings so the cook isn't used to the cooking time since they’re bigger than the ones he used to cook which I guess makes sense but still don’t think raw chicken is acceptable for any restaurant and you should have your cooking times perfected before serving the food to customers.

Visited Eureka for a dinner with friends, and had an excellent food and service) Had burgers, tacos, fries, and meat!

Since Eureka was highly recommended by locals, we had to give it a try. On the first night, the restaurant was shut down unexpectedly due to “facility issues.” So we returned the following night, and there was an ambulance and fire truck outside, and paramedics were stabilizing a patient inside the restaurant. As the table for our large group of 20 was located where the paramedics were working, we had to wait until the “all-clear” was given. The manager was very gracious and said that he would comp the appetizers and desserts for our large group! We took advantage and tried all of the appetizers, and everyone raved about all of the apps with my favorite being the lollipop corn dogs. I had the American Cheeseburger (juicy and tasty) and had a bite of my daughter’s Cowboy Burger (BBQ sauce and onion strings on a burger) and a friend’s Fried Chicken Sliders. All delicious! The Bourbon Cake and Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse were the perfect ending to a wonderful night with friends and family, even if it started out inauspiciously. Although I do not drink, they had a fine collection of craft beers as well.

Very friendly ladies behind the bar. I had the 28 day aged burgers or something like that, and deviled eggs - just delicious. Located on the popular 6th street. Good bar area too.

We had salads and they were fabulous. The Cobb salad is a must! The specialty drinks were really good too.

I was expecting great things from this restaurant, but the burger was tiny and tasteless, the coleslaw the same (tasted of air) and the fries arrived 10min before the burger. The beer took 10min from ordering to I got it and I was 1 out of 3 people sat at the bar - the waiter forgot about it. The Fries arrived and the waitress had no idea that I had also ordered a burger with my fries - the look on her faces seemed to indicate that that was not how they normally operated i.e. she had a look of disbelief... why would you want a burger with fries?!?!?! When my burger finally arrived, I asked if I could have some hot fries - the waiter was again shocked by this request and had to go and ask his manager, who in fairness made sure I got freshly cooked fries.

Burgers and Beer. This place is great for both. They have some fantastic flavor combinations and the appetizers are quite scrumptious. The beer selection is massive and eclectic. The location is right on sixth so the location is beautiful and packed into a fun area. This place is a great place to grab dinner or a drink, or both.

This is a solid casual, pub-grub choice for groups with diverse tastes. We enjoyed our food and the service was very good.

A tour guide suggested this place when we weren’t sure where to head next. It wasn’t busy, but it’s very welcoming. We headed to the bar and had fun selecting different beers to try. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. We didn’t order food, but I’m sure their menu is top notch as well.

Had overeaten our way through Austin, and wanted light fare before the Booker T show at Antone’s. On the way/walk to the club, having checked it out before hand on TA, we headed there. Good call Trip Advisor! Very cool inside. Super server. Ordered apps and drinks. I certainly appreciated my well mixed Bloody Mary. We appreciated the tasty apps, especially the mac n cheese balls and lollipops (glorified, but glorious corndogs!). Yeah, not dignified but so good. Hey, i see there’s a Eureka in Bakersfield.... who knew?

Met a few friends there and I was starving, but they weren’t. The appetizers & drinks kept them happy & I scarfed down a hemp bowl. It was really tasty and filling, thanks to the waitress for the recommendation. (For not just the food but the ginger/lime soda too, really refreshing!)

Ordered some nachos, chicken wings and mac & cheese balls to start and ordered the Eureka burger with fries for mains which was very good. I found the nachos were a little dry and lacking cheesiness. The mac & cheese balls were a little bland but otherwise fine. Nice looking bar but overpriced for the food. Additionally we found the interior a little dark for a lunch however a lot of restaurants on 6th seem to have the same set up. Not much atmosphere unfortunately and the service was ok

Went with five other friends, and three of us at the fish tacos two had burgers. One had fish and chips. All were very satisfied.. the ginger lime, soda was very good. The service was good..

Eureka is well located on 6th Street across from the Driskill Hotel. The room is fine, the food is just very average. The appetizers were mediocre and the mains were competently done but not awesome. If you’re looking for middle of the road and boring this is your place.

I believe they said everything was made in-house and locally sourced. Their craft beer selections were all from the local breweries from what I could tell. Since this restaurant was close to my hostel and conference hotel, I ate here multiple times. The first time, I had their horse radish deviled eggs, fried chicken slider. The second time, I chose the fish tacos. The portion sizes were good, and what I expected for the price tag. The atmosphere is that of a higher end sports bar.

This was the only place still serving food at 11 pm on a Wed night in Austin's famous 6th St. row of bars and restaurants. The street was jumping with tons of people out and many different kinds of music playing. We were hungry, just got in and wanted someplace quiet.. Eureka! We discovered Eureka! I got a yummy steak salad, and some iced tea..my bro was happy with the many choices in beer..we loved the wood decor. The server was really nice and helpful We liked this place soooo much we went back the next day for lunch with a friend. She loved it too.

The burger was so good at Eureka that I got one a second one to take home with me. The salad was fresh and tasty.

As I was wandering around 6th street i came upon this corner restaurant that enticed me to give it a try. Large and comfortable, the bar in the center is huge and I bet it gets crowded at night. Thankfully i came here for lunch. The liquor selection is amazing and they offer flights of beers and more. It took a while to decide on what to have, but we the staff directed us to the best choices available. We did not have a full meal, opting for some snacks, and they were all good and unique in their own way.

Service and food quality were fine, but in my opinion, $156 (with 15% tip) is too much for burgers and beers for six ($26/each). Burgers and sides were good, but I was floored when the bill arrived. And a couple of us only drank water. Not worth it.

The fresh ingredients, food made to order, and tasty sauces were a welcome experience in the land of deep fried or bbq. The Bloody Mary's are to die for! You cannot go wrong with a stop to this comfortable, fun spot!

A hidden gem! Hamburgers had great flavor ! Staff very friendly, farm to table style restaurant that really delivered!

Came here multiple times on a recent trip to Austin. This is definitely a classier place than other spots on 6th Street. The servers were friendly and helpful, they knew the menu and were able to recommend a beer or food item based on your tastes. Their selection of local craft beer is amazing. They have a rotating beer selection (which is not included in the Happy Hour, FYI) and then their standard beers that they always have. The Bison Burger was great, maybe a little overcooked for Bison, but still a good burger. The Lollipop Corn Dogs were good, but it's a small portion, only four small corn dogs and a the huge portion of spicy porter mustard, left me wanting more corn dogs. The Mac and Cheese Bites pack some heat with Fresno Chilis in the mix. Finally the Truffle Cheese Fries were just excellent! I highly recommend this place!

I had the BEST homemade beet burger with arugula salad. Salad dressing was perfect. I won't eat any pre-made veggie-type burger and am fussy about those made on-site. This was perfect. I bet the other foods are just as good.

We had the mimosa flight and it was super fresh- all juices hand squeezed. Ginger lime was amazing. Food was good but we were so hungry we ate pretty fast. My breakfast dish had lots of avocado and spicy charred tortilla chips. My husband ate every speck of chicken tacos and said they were very good as well. Fun place for people watching as well.

Came to walk the block on a Saturday afternoon. Eureka! Had the most extensive menu we saw. I had the French dip because reading the menu description painted it up so great. I was bar food. Husband had the chicken sandwich and raved over how great it was fried. We would go back to eat again if on 6thy

As I ate it, kept taking a break to think it over, and came to my conclusion about half way through... The bone marrow burger is the best burger I have ever had, honestly. It might be the best food I have ever had. We were in Austin for vacation, and stopped in for lunch, and both had great burgers (though mine was the best). The staff was very nice and welcoming, too, but they could have been mean, and I'd still go back every week if I lived in Austin. I will definitely visit any other Eureka! locations I come across in the future. Do yourself a favor and get the bone marrow burger, soon....

We did Eureka for late breakfast and everyone was more than happy with their meals. The service was super friendly and really quick. The best service we had the entire time in Austin.........the food was really good with everyone enjoying their meal. $5 bloody marys as well!!! Nice rotating beer and whiskey menu as well...... price was about middle of the road........ well worth stopping by

We landed in Austin on the afternoon of Christmas Eve and weren't sure how many places we'd still find open to eat. After a busy...and I mean busy trek to Whole Foods to pick up groceries we found Eureka for a bite to eat before heading home. The blackened fish tacos were tasty as were the burgers. My husband tried the Mac & Cheese Balls and in his words they were quite "tasty." They were quite accommodating for our 15 year old who was just craving a simple chicken strips. Definitely worth a try and some great craft beers and cocktails!

We were a little disappointed when we had to park 2 blocks away. Just out of the norm for us but this place ended up being well worth it! Loved the ambiance, awesome cocktails, great service and food was delicious! We have brussell sprouts (extra crispy) for app and both of us had "naked" burgers with fries. We were both more than satisfied!! Glad we found this place!

My guy and I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. I ordered brussels sprouts which were perfectly cooked and ceviche which was fresh and tasty. My guy got a burger which he really enjoyed. The place was surprisingly empty at around 8pm on a Tuesday evening so perhaps it gets busier later in the evening? For as quite as it was, the wait staff was very aloof and disengaged which I can't quite explain. Don't know that I'd return cause it was kind of a weird experience.....

Came to Austin for a race and stayed in downtown Austin. Read reviews about Eureka and decided to have dinner and a couple beers. Great selection! Food was very good, we ordered appetizers, they were all good. Our dinners were very good, the service was excellent. Thanks Houston for the great service and lots of laughs. We went to the places you suggested and had a great time. Went to the Firehouse Lounge, my friends got lots of laughs watching me try to get in. I said how did you know there was a secret sliding bookcase? They said Houston told us!!! Great place.

We tried the mac ' n cheese balls, chicken nachos, lollipop corn dogs, blackened fish tacos, fresco fig burger, sweet potato fries, brocollini, eureka punch, young & in love & an old fashion. To Die For!!!!! Outstanding Mac 'n cheese balls, eureka punch, blackened fish tacos & the fresco fig burger- the best!!!!!!! Love!!!!

My first night in Austin and I was super jet lagged and ready for a non-plane meal! I took a walk along E 6th Street, had a look at Eureka’s menu and decided the burgers looked like a winner. It was a pretty quiet night (and pre the start of SXSW) so I was seated immediately at the bar. I ordered the Eureka burger and it arrived promptly with a good portion of fries. I can confidently say, after eating several burgers in Austin (!) that the Eureka burger was hands down the best I had. And probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Beautiful brioche bun, juicy well-cooked patty and perfect balance of cheese and sauce. It was so good, I went back for Round #2 a few days later and it did not disappoint!

We stopped in for a snack and cocktails as this place was close to our hotel. We weren't disappointed! Service was good and the place had a cool vibe. The mimosas were good and they had some variations other than the standard OJ. We shared the chicken nachos and they were quite good as well. We enjoyed it!

Stumbled across this place as part of a group of eight colleagues and contacts while at SXsw. Staff seated us immediately on a large table. Service was friendly and swift. My shrimp salad was tasty, the other food looked decent.

My spouse and I greatly enjoyed the food here. Fish tacos, brocollini and skirt steak were all delicious. Nice atmosphere. If you are into drinking, extensive beer list.

Cowboy burger & nachos were delicious. Highly recommend. Great price. Service was excellent. Was there at 7pm on a Friday and it was busy as expected but not overly crowded.

Food was OK - had a burger. It was cooked correctly and the meat was good quality. Egg was overdone. Sweet potato fries were previously frozen. Nothing special about them. The beer was good - not great. Service was very good. Personable staff, seemed happy to be there. For a touristy area it was a good choice, just wouldn't go out of my way to go back. But if I'm stuck down town, would go again.

We all had cheeseburgers and Mac n cheese balls. The cheese balls were delish and the beer was local on tap. The burgers were really good and fresh. The ketchup was homemade.

We kept seeing Eureka! pop up as a place to eat while in Austin, and we finally tried it on our last night. I'm so glad we did! The service was great, and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend their burgers, but everything else we ordered was just as good. Give it a try if you are in Austin, and I think you'll be happy you did!

Went here for lunch before doing the Capital tour. Many many of the restaurants on 6th Street are dirty and grungy but this place was air-conditioned, clean and welcoming. They have a huge listing of American made beers and spirits. I got the Fresno Fig burger which was fantastic. Usually when something says it has goat cheese on it you can barely tell but this had loads of goats cheese and a fig marmalade. The bun was warm and fresh. Arugula was crisp and tasty on the burger, not limp or wilty. The French fries were just ok and for not being busy the service could have been a bit better but the food was great. We would definitely go back next time we are on 6th St. Husband got the Cowboy burger and it was juicy and loaded with crisp shoestring onion rings. Beer BBQ sauce was just ok.

Looked good online in photos and good reviews here, but I was less than impressed. The place was dead when we arrived and we sat at the bar. There were lots of workers buzzing around and doing side work/cleaning even though they didn’t close for another hour and a half. It was a good 10 min before anyone even acknowledged us. We were about to stand up and leave when someone greeted us. We ordered drinks and wings. The wings came pretty fast and were pretty basic bar wings. After, we each ordered a burger and fries. I had the 28 day aged bone marrow and my buddy had the Cowboy burger. Mine came out pretty quick. It sat for a few minutes before my buddy said go ahead and eat. I was COMPLETELY done with mine before his even came. They said they were ‘waiting on fries’ but when his came my buddies fries were cold. These burgers were awful. Especially for the price. I wish we would have gone to P. Terrys or some other fast food option instead. The service (once we got it) was friendly, but the place was dead. No vibe or anything. Just stale. I don’t think we will be returning to Eureka!

Popped in here on our way back to our hotel… 11pm ish… for some late night dinner after a concert at the Moody Centre on Saturday. The food was tasty but the place was dark, limited atmosphere and bar seating only. Bar staff were friendly and helpful and typical austin prices

Great staff and service! Burgers are good & Brussel sprouts side was delicious. Nice selection of local beers on tap.

We were on a girls trip and came here for an early dinner. We had bone marrow burgers. Don’t be frightened by the word LOL absolutely delicious. And the truffle fries were to die for! Fun atmosphere, great service. Loved it and would go back.

First visit, easily accessible at an intersection with paid parking on the street. Greeted at hostess stand by friendly staff, immediately ushered to a table as the restaurant was slowly filling up by the dinner crowd. There is a small stage for live music with a relaxed atmosphere throughout and ample seating. We enjoyed our delicious meals of pulled pork sandwich and fries and juicy medium well burger and fries.

I stopped in for cocktails and baseball. Bartenders were nice and gave me some great places to try while visiting and the drinks were top notch!

I went there for dinner with my wife after having cocktails to the Firehouse lounge, and we ordered burgers. I have to say that the burgers were awesome (bone marrow and fig).

The service here was really good. Our waitress was very nice and helpful with menu selection. I wanted a burger that wasn't the standard in how it's dressed so I order the burger with fig and goat cheese on it. It was okay - maybe strange burgers aren't for me though. The burger itself was good. It had a flame broiled, cooked over charcoal flavor. I had sweet potato fries with mine which came drizzled with honey, and I really enjoyed them. It also wasn't too pricey.

The food is incredible and the staff was so nice. Get the aged bone marrow burger. It Melts in your mouth! The cauliflower is also also so tasty. We are always going to stop here when we come to Austin.

My boyfriend & I came here with some friends on a Friday night. Located right in the middle of downtown. We parked in a pay lot & walked one block down. The atmosphere was fun; they have TVs that show sporting events. The food & drinks were definitely pricey, but everything was delicious. I ordered a Young & in Love drink which was very strong! ($13 I think) We got brussel sprouts, fries, & a cheeseburger. The food was really good, but like I said - pricey. So it just depends on how much you want to spend. We had a great time. The waitress was friendly & service was very good!

This restaurant is on the historic 6th street. The food was wonderful. We got the mac and cheese bombs as a starter and they were delicious. I got a burger which was delicious and it came with a homemade ketchup. The restaurant had a cool ambiance and the staff was great. I would absolutely visit again.

We had a wonderful experience Gabriel Culiat will highly recommend this establishment to friends and family. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Thanks

We stopped in for an afternoon drink & snack with the kids. The menu is great, lots of choice. - the Nachos were so good! Our server told us to download the eureka app and we would be able to get a free sharing appetizer plate (truffle fries - also delicious!) Good selection of beers, plus soft drinks for the kids

Nice looking venue and food was not too bad. Burger was a reasonable size so not typical American. Local beer also decent and reasonably priced overall. Band were far too loud for the restaurant and took too long to sing. Cocktails were nice and service was good.

My wife and I had just arrived in Austin and was looking for a place to hang out, have a few beers and watch a bit of sport and have a bite. After trying a few duds down 6th street we found Eureka which was exactly what we are after. Great food, great beer selection, great service and a very chilled vibe.. Sweet

My wife, son & I were wandering 6th street looking for a good bar/restaurant to eat at. We saw positive reviews about Eureka. Very busy place. The staff was very receptive and helpful. We split the tuna appetizer mac & cheese balls some wings and the cob salad. Everyone was great.

Professional and efficient staff. Food was perfect, wide variety and it was all very tasty! Sports on tvs but not over powering. Good atmosphere. Would recommend it widely as the location on 6th Street is a great place to eat and drink.

The place is conveniently located in the 6th street, delicious food, I personally tried a steak and my friends tried the burgers. All of us were pleased about the food and the service. The waiters and waitresses have funny T-shirt’s

Austin's a great place for food, and Eureka! was no exception. My wife and I split the Seared Shrimp Salad (very good) and the Fresno Fig Burger (awesome). Prices weren't bad (about $13 each), plus they even had some nice "mocktails" for my pregnant wife to enjoy (she had the Turmeric Nectar and really liked it). Servers were also attentive, and turned the TV to Monday Night Football so I could check out the score. If we lived in Austin we would almost assuredly come back here again at some point.

I don't know what ya'll think but I personally love the food in California. This small chain does not dissappoint...Amazing succulent burger choices, Brussel Sprout appetizer...super yum good quality handmade food. Now I'm not much for Whiskey but I hear thats pretty legit too. Casual dining in a well designed atmosphere.

My wife and I took our two young kids here for lunch, and it was fantastic. The wait staff treated them like rockstars. Food was very good.

TA reviews were really good but I am not sure what the high rates are given for. The atmosphere and location on 6th is good so maybe thats why it ranked so high. Definitely not the food. They claim they specialisere in burgers - the two different beef burgers we had were mediocre and the veggie version was a huge disappointment. Dry and boring. Wouldnt recommend the place for dinner

My wife and I stopped into Eureka! for dinner and were very pleased with the whole experience. Our waitress Mary was friendly and efficient and was helpful with selecting menu items. Food was very good and nicely presented. Nice ambiance. Highly recommend.

Yummy !!! Yummy !! Yummy !! I’m in austin getting new headshots after I’m done I decide to get something to eat . What do I do ?? I decide to ask my fellow yelpers for advice . Again you don’t steer me wrong . Very trendy , very chic , very la vibe . The host was very sweet . Our waitress even sweeter . I started off with the salmon dip & boy did it taste good. I got an American burger well done . So so so freaking good . Next time I’m in austin I’ll most definitely stop by

Found within walking distance from Hyatt Place. Hard to look away from the homeless in the streets, but once inside, a friendly venue featuring local craft beers. Once prompted, staff delivered a satisfying Strawberry milkshake IPA, and a Jalapeno-Egg burger medium rare (when was the last time that you actually had a burger delivered medium rare?) that left me wanting more. Staff attentive - pricing OK - worth a visit.

Met some friends there for dinner. Staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is nice. I’m lace was packed. Had some good live music too. Great spot to gather and spend some time. Good food selection too.

The food was wonderful! Had the Mac and Cheese balls, Lollipop corn dogs and Blackened fish tacos. Definitely will come back!!! The specialty cocktails were wonderful!

We have visited Austin for few day break from London, couldn't decide what to have so just got in to next place we have seen. Very busy on Saturday night with life music which was great.Food was delicious and service was friendly and attentive. Will be back and will highly recommend !

Our food was delicious and the service was above average even though we walked in 20 minutes behind the kitchen closed. We had a chicken sandwich, hamburger and a salad. The location is right in the middle of great music.

Great Burgers! Sweet Potato Fries with Cinnamon & Honey are what brought me in. The food is REALLY good. I don’t care for their NO Cash- NO contact but built in tip concept. You order on your phone from your table and pay on your phone too. NO CASH accepted. Not a fan!!!

This restaurant is a nice place for lunch. Good selection of items on the menu. Food arrived fast. Soup was cold and needed to be sent back. Other dishes arrived at an ok temperature. Atmosphere was great. Drinks were filled pretty quick.

Don't go here if you are rushed for time because they make everything to order. However, if you do dine here you won't be sorry. The Bison Burger is the best I have ever had. My son and his girlfriend also had the Bone Marrow Burger and really liked it too. His girlfriend had it "naked" meaning no bun on mixed greens instead. Again, we really enjoyed it.

Came here on my own while waiting for my flight back home to the U.K. Sam was very sweet, he looked after me well, and made me a custom shot. Excellent service! And a big smile! Was feeling pretty sad about going home but Sam cheered me up! He’s a credit to your business!

This was a nice place to get out of the heat of the afternoon. A bit noisy, but fun. The food was delicious: fish tacos, fig burger, corn dog lolly pops, shrimp ceviche, beef sandwich, truffle fries. All were excellent. The margarita was good, as were the beers we chose. All in all a tasty lunch.

In town for a wedding and stopped for lunch. Loved the food and fantastic service. Mahi tacos, breakfast burrito and pulled pork sandwich all great. Don’t miss out on the fries. Some good beer and drink choices too!

Ok I am a burger kind of guy and Eureka hit the nail on the head. I had the Bone Marrow Burger and WOW it was AWESOME. I sat at the bar and Hannah and Nathan took great care of me. To go with an incredible burger Eureka had a great selection of beer on tap. Next time I ma back in Austin this will be a must stop for me.

We ate here for dinner on a Sat night. It wasn't too crowded. Burgers and sweet potato fries were delicious. Lots of beer on tap.

Was a solo diner both times I visited but was treated well -- even the time that the place was crazy busy. Both times, I was very impressed with the service and the food (hamburger and beer one night and fish tacos and beer the other night) and the friendly staff. The location is ideal as well.

Went with a friend for dinner and was not expecting much for bar food. But was happily surprised. We had the falafel bites, really good, cauliflower bites, also very tasty and brussel sprouts, which were crispy but not overly. My friend had a nice drink, I was not super fan of mine, but I am a wine person. The place can get a bit loud, but it is very nice overall.

I've been to a few Eureka's in California and Las Vegas, I did not know they had one in Austin. Always a good spot for good beer & food and this location was no different. Our bartender, Clint, was knowledgeable and helpful. We had some good local beers and the truffle cheese fries.

Get the fried mac & cheese balls! They were the best thing we ate all weekend. We came here with a few friends and actually ordered more of them. The corn dog pops were good also. Burgers were ok, but not the greatest. Service and environment were both good.

Trying to find real food later in the evening (9-ish) was difficult until another loud bar recommended Eureka! Quieter than most places we’d walked by, we were ecstatic to find something for all of us here. Chicken slider (Happy Hour priced), Cowboy Burgers and a delicious super fresh Cobb salad made us SO happy. Great beer selection (like most venues) and memorable service. Close enough to walk to Voodoo Donuts for dessert too!!

The food was excellent; great ambiance. The waitstaff was attentive and very professional. I’ll definitely come back.

Really great burgers, served with a smile. Great find and recommend you go. Just what was needed after a heat day at COTA.

I spent a Sunday Afternoon sampling Eukeka offerings. The Nachos are incredible and the Fresno Burger with goat cheese and fig onions arugula etc. WWOW. Super satisfying and delicious tons of beer selections.

***ZERO STARS*** 1/22/23 walked in sat down at 11:53 (only know bc my niece texted me from home to order her breakfast) - 12:13, we walked out. 2 tables came in after us. 1 was already served beers and other that just came in had their order taken. It’s when we walked out. Never once was acknowledged by the waitress. Maybe it’s because I’m asian? maybe it’s because she was busy? who knows. Hostess was friendly. Don’t waste your time at this establishment! Sella San Jac - walked in - no reservations and got sat. wait staff at STELLA SAN JAC is super friendly! come here instead of EUREKA - Eurkea is by far one of the worst places i’ve been to in the US and in Europe!!! Please either get more staff or train your staff better!! If I had water, an alcoholic beverage, or was even acknowledged- It would have been a little better?!?!? 15 min of being ignored - y’all have a PROBLEM!!!

We had some very good burgers in Eureka, the atmosphere with live music was very fun and the attention of our waitress was cordial. A very good choice for dinner on 6th street. The menu has options for all tastes and a complete drinks list.

As the last day of our trip to Austin, we wanted to end it with a bang. And that means some really yummy local food! It seems Texas and burgers go hang in hand right? Eurika was just the sport for this and gave us that perfect Burger experience. With a large selection to choose from, but I went with the 28 Day Dry-Aged Bone marrow 🤤 it did not disappoint…

This place has a great selection of craft beers on tap. I had a chopped salad with feta, beets, kale, butter lettuce, garbanzo beans and more for $10. My husband had a chicken sandwich with fries which was just okay. That said, all the servers were so nice and our food came so quickly. We had fun! We'll be back.

We headed out for a date night... the 1st one since the pandemic hit and it turned out to be the perfect place to begin Our server Raquel was super attentive knowledgeable and fun We had great appetizers good beer and a Whiskey sampler Left happily buzzed for our walk back

Great food and craft beers. Everything, excluding the tequila, is American made. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff were polite and friendly. This is a fun, funky place with great food.

In a sea of untidy, sleazy dives that is 6th Street this place was outstanding. Seated immediately, menus given straight away by lovely server, drinks arrived promptly, burgers freshly cooked, tasty and reasonable wait. Great desserts too and great choice of drinks. Bill was very reasonable Highly recommended and it was yards from our hotel The Driskill

Nothing special about this place. Several beers on tap selling usual bar type burger etc. one of the better places to visit on 6th street.

Good food at reasonable prices. I really liked the short rib kimchi burger, the bone marrow burger was good but I preferred the kimchi one. The drinks were great too. Lavender and charcoal lemonade, also the turmeric drink was good. Only two items on dessert menu. NO need for more! The bourbon pecan cake was delectable . Friendly and courteous staff. Will definitely go back

In town on business and my co-worker and I were looking for something rather low-key and not too upscale. Eureka was really a great find.. a little on the eclectic side, nothing too fancy but nice. Menu was varied and everything looked delicious.. was a hard to decide but opted for the Bone Marrow Burger which was an excellent choice! It was quite tasty. I had the perfect Dirty Martini there as well! The Brussel Sprouts appetizer was scrumptious. Service was totally spot on and prices were extremely reasonable. Loved everything about it. Would be a great place for a beer and quick meal at their large bar too. Would highly recommend.

Myself and my two granddaughters had dinner here this past week. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It was super quiet so we had time for a good visit. I had the Napa Chicken Sandwich, one granddaughter had the Seared salmon and the other had the fish tacos. The food was cooked perfect, the only complaint was the potatoes that came with the seared salmon were in a white sauce which was very garlic tasting and she didn't care for them.

Great food, extensive beer selection! Had the Cowboy Burger & the American Burger. Great taste and perfect sides. Nice escape from the crazy dive bar atmosphere of 6th Street. Do recommend this place. Eureka! What a find . . .

My husband and I wanted a restaurant with a nice atmosphere, great food & great service where we would feel comfortable on a busy Saturday night. This was perfect. He got the cowboy burger & I the Napa chicken sandwich with pesto aioli & we had 2 drinks & the truffle fries as our appetizer. Everything was great, and our server Nick was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with any questions we had. Great experience & food. Definitely want to go back.

They had a great variety, something for everyone in our party. Fried Mac n cheese balls were a delightful surprise. Terrific wait service from Kelly!

We needed a bite and this place looked good on sixth street to absorb that alcohol. The corn dogs were excellent. We also got the chili wings and they were decent. There is a great selection of beers. The food is more unique than most places on sixth street

The restaurant had great reviews and was close to the hotel. There were at least 5 things on the menu that looked good. Sat at the bar since I was flying solo. Bartender mentioned that they were known for their burgers, so I ordered the Fresno Fig Burger. It was delicious! I normally don’t like raw red onions, but they chop the red onions with the tomato and it was tasty. The bacon was crispy and the fig jam and mustard were just right. Fries were nice and crispy too. Would definitely recommend. It was pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon which was surpassing since the food was good. Lots of big groups were there and that was about it. Great location and quick service.

The first thing that struck us when we walked in was the size and set up of the interior. Everything seemed large including the space, bar, booths and high tables. This place is clearly set up to accommodate large parties and crowds. The décor is contemporary and composed of stone and wood. The menu offers a number of intriguing original items but unfortunately no gluten free buns for the interesting array of burgers and sliders. We had a late lunch on a Friday afternoon and the restaurant was pretty quiet. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We opted for a Turkey Burger Lettuce Wrap with House Fries, and Fried Chicken Sliders with Cole Slaw, Buffalo Sauce and House Fries (photo attached). The portions were reasonable and the Sliders were very good. The House Fries were were a little under-cooked which was surprising since the place was almost empty. On balance, this place is worth a try, particularly if you are with a large party. If you found this review and/or our photo helpful, we hope you will click the “helpful” button. It's not a bad place, but there are definitely better places in Austin for a burger. The food tasted fine, and maybe just a little pricey. I recommend the Bruschetta appetizer, and the chicken tacos were also good. But mixed drinks were expensive and very small for what you paid. And they were not especially great drinks.

While staying at The Driskill Hotel, we chanced to walk across the street to Eureka! and it was a great find! We ate there several times during our weeklong stay in Austin and enjoyed it every time. The beet veggie burger and deviled egg appetizer are delicious. The sweet potato fries are divine: dusted with cinnamon and drizzled with honey. Weekend brunch was also great, especially the avocado toast. We were surprised and delighted to learn that this small chain of restaurants originated in our home state of California and there is a Eureka! very close to where we live. YAY!

Very well-kept and modern location at the beginning of 6th street. Excellent cuisine, especially the fried foods. The variety and selection of local beers is excellent. Friendly staff. Advised!

A nice restaurant that gets busy fast off of 6th street. I got a place at the bar so I could get a seat fast. If you need a table you'll probably be waiting. I got the Eureka punch cocktail and it was great, pricey, but good. The bartenders seemed knowledgeable about their mixes. They mentioned multiple times how love to use local whiskey which made me laugh because as a Utahn I picked out 4 bottles of High west which definitely isnt local. So I'm curious how much is "local." The Bone Marrow Burger I had is probably the main reason I'd ever go back which is a shame because it sounded like it was a temporary burger. It was grilled and spiced right. Not too uppity in fixings and absolutely delicious. I'm not much of a burger person, but I ate the entire thing. The service was a tad slow. But overall it was a good experience.

Love the food and service here! Great staff! Very friendly environment! First time and sure will be back.

We went here for a bite to eat after arriving and checking into our hotel in Austin. A short walk from where we were staying in downtown. Wasn't crowded as it was just around 4 PM. I had chicken tacos and they were good and my friend had a salad that looked really good and she really liked it. Can't remember what kind it was, kind of like a cobb salad as it had hard-boiled egg and bacon on it. Reasonably priced. I think mine was like $25. And I had one drink that I didn't actually care for but that's no strike against the restaurant. I just didn't like the combo of juices in it.

Regular american burger with Odell milkshake Ipa on draught - delicious!!! They have served us 15 minutes before closure which was outstanding! Great environment at 6th street...

Restaurant offers a range of fresh and unique food from burgers to salads to tasty appetizers, such as lollipop dogs. Refreshing drink choices, such as charcoal lemonade and lavender tea. Food was very tasty and moderately priced.

Group 6, fast service. Great apps, nice portions. Food was really tasty. No complaints from anyone in our group. Looking forward to my second visit.

My husband and I walked in at around 5pm. It was not very busy, however, no host was anywhere to be seen and we stood there for 5 minutes until a server came over and said "I'll locate the host". This happened a record 4 times before the gloomy, miserable and visibly annoyed hostess came and sat us. All 4 servers that said "I'll find the host" could've easily sat us but they didn't care AT ALL. We waited at the stand for more than 10 minutes. The people that came in behind us asked "is anyone working here?" Then, we waited for another 10 minutes before a server came over and took our drink order. Long story short, the service stinks. The food is mediocre at best. I had the French dip and it's not worth the $22 price tag. Skip this place.

We eat here a lot when we are in Austin. Have had several special events in their various private dining room. the vault is spectacular, We had a 60 anniversary there w. family. Great service and superb food. Love their signature martini, cucumber & blueberry

Dined at this restaurant for lunch on 10/11/18. Food & Service were Excellent! We began with sharing the yummy Brussels sprouts. Oh so good!! I had the Bison Burger with a fresh side salad & my husband enjoyed the Sesame Teriyaki Salmon. Both were very tasty & prepared to our specifications. Restaurant was very clean & entire staff was friendly! Appreciated the cloth napkins & paper straws! Roisin was our server & she took very good care of us! Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Eureka has a very pleasant inside atmosphere. It was well designed with a huge bar area which is also good for dining. Visitors tend to go for the burgers. I ordered the bone marrow burger and it did not disappoint. So rich. More importantly it was cooked to my specifications and the bun complemented the burger. The French fries were less inspiring but fine. Bartender staff were knowledgeable and friendly. A good welcome to Austin.

Burger was great! Atmosphere good! Service good! We had the macaroni and cheese balls for an appetizer and they were good, just don’t get very many for the price. They make reference to their special fries which I couldn’t wait for but was totally disappointed. They were nothing special (see pic). Place has a lot of potential. I wouldn’t rush back but definitely a good place for a good burger if in that area.

This is a definite must try spot to dine while on 6th Street. It came highly recommended to us and were glad we went. The food is simply out of the world and the service is good. Highly recommend this place.

Worst thank awful, there were only 4 guest tables and the hosts couldn’t even take care of those. I ordered a salad and only 15 minutes after delivering it to my table, they brought the dressing, it wasn’t good at all. Poor service

I visited this place during my last trip to Austin. I discovered it via Open Table app. I had the Eureka Burger and it was delish. I also ordered the mac and cheese balls and were good too. Decor is very nice and service was fantastic. Great location and good menu offerings. Only downside is the parking but this is normal for Austin downtown area.

Husband and I stopped in for dinner, was pleasantly surprised with everything! Our server was so attentive and the food was SO good! Highly recommend the burgers.

We visited Eureka for an early dinner on Labor Day weekend, the service was prompt and good, food was very good, delicious variety to choose from catering g to all palletts, including a 6 & 9 year old. I would recommend a lunch visit.

The food. Amazing! The service. Amazing! I cannot wait to go back. My two adult daughters and I got difference entrees so we could taste more than one dish! Incredible! So worth it!

Stopped in to Eureka for lunch last Saturday. We sat at the bar and were greeted with a smile and "thanks for coming in" by Meghan and Adam. We all had burgers (one Bison, one Turkey and one Egg/Jalapeño/Bacon). The food came out promptly and was cooked as ordered. We all enjoyed the burgers and fries. They have a great selection of local beers on tap. All of the bartenders were well versed in the beers available and did a great job describing them. We liked Eureka so much that we went back later that afternoon to watch sports and have a couple appetizers before heading out for the evening. The deviled eggs and nachos were favorites. I'd recommend Eureka and will definitely stop in again next time I'm in town.

Stopped in on a busy Friday night during SXSW and was still able to get a seat. Pleasantly surprised by the craft beer and scratch-made food choices - the brisket French Dip was DELICIOUS and the Moscow Mule was made with house-brewed ginger beer. The server was very friendly and gave suggestions based on what I liked when I couldn't decide between items.

A nice restaurant/bar right on the corner. We had salads and they were fabulous. The specialty drinks weren't too bad either.

Husband and I came a month back and loved, but this time was very disappointing! Service great until they get busy and personal Service goes out the window....at the bar anyways. Burger was ice cold when came out and Husband’s was under Luke warm. Gave to barback and there was no informing bartender. Just frustrating. Will go back b/c bartender was great but he had no support or other help so he was too busy to give the service he would have.

Overall, we were disappointed with the “6th street experience “ but Eureka was the only bright light on the street. Burgers are delicious and wait staff are friendly and competent.

Rain was fun to walk around in but snacks and a beer were on the timeline! Staff were friendly and accommodating with excellent beer choices and food for picky eaters. The cowboy burger was excellent and exactly as advertised - recommended anytime for a relaxing space with plenty of light

Great food - different and somewhat unique. Nice atmosphere. The folks I went with raved about all the brandy selections this place had.

Great place to stop for lunch and close to the Driskill Hotel. Lots of beer on tap here too. The food was very fresh and tasted very good. The only suggestion I might have is that the service was a little slow and there was no salt and pepper on the table. The food would have been better with a little S&P but the server took a little too long to come back. I would go back!

Great place for a burger and craft beer. Get the cheese dip to dip your fries and burger in. Deviled eyes are good too. This is right on 6th street.

My friends and I stopped in here during ROT rally for dinner. We had just gotten here before happy hour ended so we all ordered a round of drinks. There was wine, beer, and deep Eddy's vodka specials. We also started off with a few specials on appetizers. We ordered the truffle fries, Brussel sprouts and deviled eggs. The Brussel sprouts described as orange chile glaze /chimichurri /almonds. The sauce was sweeter due to the orange chili glaze. I would recommend trying these. The deviled eggs were okay, nothing spectacular in my book. I didn't have any of the fries but everyone who did loved it. For my main meal, I got the fish tacos. I had originally ordered them with corn tortillas but learned after I ordered that they were out of the corn. I instead had to get lettuce wraps for my tacos. I wasn't happy about this but figured fewer carbs for me that night wasn't really a bad thing. The fish tacos were meh and not really flavorful. My husband loved his burger that he ordered. He also upgraded to sweet potatoes fries. The sweet potato fries were delicious and would also recommend. We had good service while dining in. Our server accommodated our friend who showed up a little bit later by pushing a table together. Overall....a decent option downtown Austin. Note: after my review on another site, the manager contacted me and said they don't have corn tortilla only wheat/corn combo. I was sad to learn this as this doesn't help me nor does it allow people with gluten allergies/intolerances to enjoy the tacos which are usually a safer bet.

Was super sideways because we had been dranking all day for the LSU/Tx game. After LSU won we drank some more. Then I decided at 1am I need some good food. So I asked a bike taxi where I could get some good food. I jumped on his pedal wagon and he brought us to Eureka! Ordered a good Ole burger. Did NOT disappoint.

When planning my trip to Austin, one of the most difficult things to find was a great dinner option with a dedicated kids menu. This place fits the bill. It has everything from guilty pleasures, tex-mex, and American. We ordered fish tacos and chicken tacos and were able to substitute the rice and beans for a side salad. I cannot express how happy it makes me when a restaurant provides not only calorie information but allows patrons to sub carb heavy sides for more healthier options. Overall, I was very impressed with both the food and drink options for adults and children and I highly recommend to any families visiting Austin.

The place is very nice and the food great. We had the Bone Marrow hamburger, and the shrimp salad both delicious. To drink we ordered the charcoal lemonade (twice). Our friends had several things that were pretty good also. We only had a slight problem with the waiter when we wanted to pay the check with different credit cards, he wanted to give us separate checks but we just wanted to split it equally in the number of people in our party. Apparently it is a big deal for them when you pay this way and he got a bit angry about it.

We went there on a Sunday night, so not as busy as other nights when we walked by. Great burgers and fries. Had Bloody Marys that were delicious. Great staff.

Awesome lemonade ( black and ginger ) and turmeric drink . Delicious falafel appetizer and also the cheese ball appetizer . Loved the beet burger as well . Exceeded expectations on al counts . Service was great too .

It's an open area with a fun, clean and very urban hip environment. Ok, I want one of the walnut tables myself. Someone was really creative and clean with the design of the decor. The Food. My hubby and I stayed at the hotel (the Driskill) next door the weekend of our 30th Anniversary and enjoying the ROT Rally. We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. Of course had to get a window seat to watch all the bikes. The food. Yumm. We like to try a couple of appetizers and a main dish when trying out a new restaurant. This one was hard to decide. Deviled Eggs with horseradish, bacon, pickled onion sliver. The other was a citrus glazed sprouts with almonds. We wanted to get another of those. My meal with a blackened fish taco with mango salsa and avocados and sweet potato fries and hubby had their version of a french dip sandwich and fries. It came with 2 sauces. He was enjoying how everything seemed to be made from scratch and even loved the ketchup. We will be back!

This was our second visit to this cute spot in Austin. We decided to order from the brunch menu and we were not disappointed! The chilaquiles plate was wonderful. Very flavorful and a very generous serving. They place the eggs on top and you can choose how your eggs are prepared, scrambled, over easy, etc. The brunch menu has mimosas and Bloody Marys. The BM is served with bacon, olives and celery stalk. It’s spicy and delicious!

Enjoyed brunch with my sister-in-law while visiting Austin for the weekend. The truffle french fries and the bread pudding french toast were delicious! I also enjoyed the $5 Mimosas. Would definitely recommend

This is a burger and bourbon bar just around the block from the hotel. The folks that arrived early went here for dinner the first night. It was a great bar with exceptional food and drink. They were able to seat us right away without a reservation and the ambiance was great. It was recommended by the staff at the hotel bar.

Decent location near all the happenings of downtown. Overall the food was underwhelming. I had the Mac and cheese balls, which were poorly seasoned. The wagyu dried aged burger with bone marrow was totally lifeless. However, the truffle fries and the sauce were killers. So is the ranch they use. It could have been an off day for them. They were out of all non-alcholic beverages and one of the two cocktail orders was rtnd due to taste. I would like to try on another trip, if someone else is paying.

Stopped here ended with drinks and appetizer. Very loud and service was not that great. Did not like appetizer- not good flavor. Music was super loud although good skill. Decided not to stay.

Worst experience ever! We dined in at around 10:30 we got the fries, shrimp ceviche and the nachos- embarrassment all around! The ceviche tasted like crap, the fries were cold and the nachos looked like 5 year old made thing. Couldn’t handle the crap and tried to talk to the bartender who grabbed the fries and walked away without letting me finish my sentence! I got up and left this place.

Great Moscow mule too! Nice ambience and on 6th street. Down from Voodoo Donuts as well. Kids loved their burgers too.

For a chain, I must say it was tasty. I had the mac and cheese balls and the waitress was incredibly attentive. Big beer list.

Great menu and choice. Service was brilliant and our server was very friendly and informative about the menu. Service was quick and meals were good.

Needed to eat after kayaking under the Congress Street Bridge to watch the bats come out. Found out Eureka was still open so we went. We shared the brussel sprouts and each had fish tacos...everything was very good...especially for late night.

This is our first time to Austin TX so we had the Uber drop us on 5th for some food and music. We walked a few blocks to check out some of Texas restaurants and decided on the Eureka. The place is pack so must be good food, right? I will say the I had the grilled chicken tacos with chips and salsa. Wife had fish and chips. The presentation was ok and the flavor was ok however, the Rico shells were limp and the chicken cold. I was expecting warm. The chips were stale but the salsa was tasty. Too bad could have been great but cooled off the evening. So much for high expectations. P.S. our server Kevin did a great job.

Went in a large group with prior reservations. Service mediocre. Food okay. I would have had a few more drinks had the waiter been paying attention.

Really good place, food is really good, everything is made from scratch.. service is good too! Our server was really nice and explain the menu to us, and gave us some recommendations. My husband and I had a good time here today!

Happened upon this restaurant by chance, wandered in and was delighted by how good it was! The food menu has lots of interesting clean, tasty American classics. Drinks menu has a generous choice of craft beers and whiskies as well as delicious cocktails. The Holy Smokes cocktail is superb - bourbon (Buffalo Trace I think), maple syrup, cherry liqueur, chocolate bitters and a generous helping of smoke. Like drinking a cosy winter evening by the fire - heavenly! The food we tried was great quality. Mac and cheese balls and chicken wings to start were really tasty, and surprisingly light. The bone marrow burger is very simple but was perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavour. American Burger was also great with flavoursome and perfectly cooked meat. The seared shrimp salad was very tasty but way too sweet. Dessert was fantastic. Chocolate peanut butter mousse and bourbon barrel cake were sublime. The ice-cream that came with the bourbon barrel cake wasn't great but otherwise both desserts were totally delicious. Not too sweet, not heavy just bursting with flavour. Staff are delightful. Our server Stephen was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back here next trip to Austin!

Definitely different than a lot of the "bars" on Sixth Street, Eureka provided a good dining alternative for the area. With just about all of the food items made from scratch, a rotating beer and whiskey list, and a good cocktail list, this is definitely a good Sixth Street dining spot. The chili was good, as were the egg dish. The food was pricey for the amounts received, but it was tasty, and we had a very knowledgeable server. This is a good Sixth Street option.

Went to downtown Austin to have lunch with our daughter. What a great restaurant! Staff is super friendly. I like the simplicity of the menu. Never been to a place like this before. No salt on the table? But then, it wasn’t needed. Craft beers available. A favorite with the local offices.

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Nice atmosphere, good service. Brussel sprouts are a must at Happy Hour.

In my opinion this place should be number one. I had a burger that was one of the best ever and wife always gets a veggie burger and she said same. Service was great and beer was cold. Prices reasonable. Very nice atmosphere and very cool looking inside

We stumbled across this place whilst looking for somewhere to eat at lunchtime. So glad we found it! The food was absolutely fantastic- we both had burgers - cooked exactly how we asked- and the truffle fries were the best we’ve ever had. The service was also fabulous- huge shout out to our server Bella who was so friendly, efficient and engaging. We hope to come back to Austin one day, and if we do, we will definitely return to Eureka!

Second time at this restaurant and it was even better than the first. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and he was on top of things! The food was amazing! I got the fish & chips and I tell you it was the best I had in a while. Bf and our friends got the bone marrow burgers and the other got herself a veg burger which all came out to be very delicious! You gotta try it if you’re even in Austin!

We were not impressed. The food was okay, but nothing special. My Cowboy Burger was over cooked and my wife’s Seared Ahi Salad was mediocre. Service was slow, from a server with no personality, who did not seem to care if we were satisfied or not. She never returned to the table after serving our food and we had to hunt her down for our check.

Stopped for lunch here on Friday and the place was very busy which was promising. The food came quickly and we all enjoyed either burgers or French dip sandwiches. The beer on tap was nice and would happily eat in again!

Food was tastefully prepared and presented. Nice range of menu options. Staff was excellent. A highlight.
Eureka restaurant on 6th served up goodness!
Eureka restaurant on 6th served me perhaps the best burger I ever have eaten. A 'bone marrow' burger & great local beer.iIPbebrew.BRdoubIPAIPAIPA.8%.alcohol? Delicious.
