You have your table for 90 minutes and will be asked to leave

By Tina S |

Full transparency here. I just spoke to Chris the General Manager to provide feedback on how our dinner went last night. A long-awaited reunion with girlfriends perfectly ruined by the hostess Amelia who asked us to give up our table 5 minutes after we declined dessert. Perhaps $200 for a table of 3 just wasn't a big enough sell. Here's how the GM decided to respond, apparently RESY makes it clear that you get your table for 90 minutes during peak season. We must have missed that --make sure you don't!

You must ask for Sydney!

What a wonderful dining experience ! I had an espresso martini to start. Delicious. The calamari was equally delicious. But the bucatini! Oh my!! My friend had the redfish. He doesn’t eat nearly as much as me, so I got to take his excess home. Lucky me! And our server, Sydney(like the city in Australia!) was soooo good. We sat outside because it was crazy loud inside. Gorgeous patio. Will definitely return!!

Nice restaurant experience. Lovely decor, great customer experience, and really good food. Had the lobster roll with shoestring fries. Absolutely delicious.

The Mom's were Happy ....!

Mother's Day lunch could not have been more enjoyable for us, 2 moms, 2 husbands and one granddaughter. Even Coast is spacious with tall ceilings and and plenty of light from the east facing floor to ceiling windows. It is decorated in a upscale casual vibe. Our party ordered a wide variety of dishes and appetizers, some of which were shared and some so good they were consumed by only one diner. They ranged from the Lobster Roll, Prime Rib sandwich, pasta, Salmon to Steak Frittes with some salads, calamari and artichoke hearts added in. Don't forget their drink menu .... wines are very reasonably priced by the glass or their dessert menu which offers an unforgettable Olive Oil cake, huge Affagato and Millionaires tart. There is no reason to describe the attributes of each dish because each one was prepared with high quality ingredients, care and skill. Wait service was ok, considering it was a very busy Mother's Day lunch. The menu has something for everyone without being overbearing. Price points are inclusive to have a dish for the budget minded as well as the big spender. Do make a reservation and give it try ..... you will be glad you did.

Very good local seafood place in area full of good restaurants.

Lovely food and decor in this suburb of Dallas on Restaurant row in Addison/Richardson. We wanted high end good seafood and this fit the bill perfectly. We all loved our food, and had very very fresh oysters. We loved our entrees and our server was super attentive and helpful and on top of her game. Clam chowder was very good. We liked the texas redfish and the salmon and the fish dip. Our cocktails were perfectly made as well. I would highly suggest this place to entertain folks from out of town. My only quibble is the name of it doesn't make a lot of sense and hard to remember for the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. We will be back!

Can’t wait to go back❤️❤️❤️

This is my NEW “go to seafood restaurant” in the neighborhood! I was celebrating my birthday with my husband so we shared appetizers and entree. The food was fantastic-starting with appetizers of cornmeal fried oysters with spinach and a dab of hollandaise sauce on top. Next was the calamari with two special dipping sauces, and then the lump meat crab with avocado and other veggies. Finally, saving the best for last, the Halibut with the most delicious cannellini beans ever! Reservations are a must. The patio is more casual and has heaters to use when needed. The inside a bit more dressy but louder. The decor and atmosphere set the tone for an amazing evening and our waiter, Angel, was attentive, animated, and charming! Can’t wait to go back❤️
