Never let me down

By 519virgild |

Went there for a post workout veggie plate. Left with a veggie plate packed full of explosive flavors, and some of the infamous "Fadis Chicken" that would be lunch the next day. Portions are generous as well as the service. All for nearly $12. I will always be a fan and patron.

Will go back - often!

By sspann |

We ate here for the first time and it is now at the top of my list of fav places to eat (or for takeout). Since it was my first time, I had the veggie Fadi's Sampler Plate. It is cafeteria style and when I told the server it was my first time there, he basically took over my plate and knew just the perfect size to fill the plate perfectly with some of everything. I was so happy about that because everything was wonderful!! There were several varieties of meat that looked very tempting – even to me and I am not a big fan of meat. The food is fresh and somewhat unusual (more of a Middle East style than the usual pasta dishes I expected). It is spicy, or maybe I should say filled with flavor because it was fine for the toddler in our party. The staff was very nice and attentive and reminded me of the days when people actually treated you like a customer. The atmosphere is casual but very nice. It cost $59 for 5 adults and 3 of us had the sampler plates (2 veggie and 1 w/meat). Many meatless options which is great for me!

Good food, large portions

By Mcoreo2 |

Went for the first time time today on a recommendation. Lots to choose from, everything looked fresh. My hubby had the veggie plate that came with multi salads and different types of hummus. I had fadis special? It was hummus, ( I got the plain one) a salad ( I had pasta with tomatoes and feta), veggie ( I had the roasted potatoes) and a meat. Since the kabobs and Schwarma are made to order it takes 10 to 15 minutes extra I decided to upgrade to the lamb shank which was 1.99 extra but ready to eat. The hummus was yummy, the pasta fresh and good, the potatoes .. Eeh they were ok but very sour.. Lemon perhaps? The lamb shank was a good size and came with carrots and beans but was ver very bland. Like it was boiled without any seasoning. Maybe I am used to it roasted and more highly seasoned, it was only ok. There was so much food the only thing I finished was the hummus. All in all it was good, fresh, and a good deal and I will go back.

decent food, a little pricey

By slh2012 |

The food is decent. In comparison, the price is a little too high. Wish it's more reasonably priced given the more fast-food and casual dining setting.

Healthy food and a great selection!

I happened upon this place by accident. I've been craving it ever since but it's far from home. I just found a new location by my work. It seems pricey, but you get so much food. Best of all the food choices are rather healthy and taste great! I can't wait to go back!

Good food. Lots of vegetarian options. The ordering/combination process can be confusing.

Healthy Eating

We ate two evenings running at Fadi's. Filled our plates with salads, vegetables, hommus and fresh baked wheat pita bread. We tried the Curried Chicken and the Lamb Shanks. All was delicious!

Great variety and freshly prepared

By Celeste S |

The variety and quality was great. We ate there two days in a row My only complaint the second time was that the lamb kaboob was overly seasoned for the size of the slices of lamb.

Great fresh food

By oralynnq2 |

We love this place and go often. The food is Mediterranean served cafeteria style. You can pick a vegetarian or meat platter. The offer some single item dishes but we don't bother with those. We like the variety of the platters. They dish up the food, you tell them what you want, and they fill the large plate. I always eat half and take the other half home. The food tastes fresh and made with wholesome ingredients. There is a wide variety of hummus, cold salads (couscous, greek salad, tabouli, etc), hot vegetable dishes (roasted potatoes, fried cauliflower, rice, zucchini, etc) with pita bread. If you get the meat platter then you can also pick out one meat. My husband likes the Lemon Chicken or the Gyro meat. I've had it, its very tasty. I always get the vegetarian platter. It is so much food that I don't need any meat. For a little extra you can get some Baklava. I recommend the pistachio Baklava. It's about $13 for a veggie platter. There's a newer location in Frisco,TX that is a little nicer. Same menu, just newer restaurant.

N'ah

I'm the sort of eater that could help myself to a heaping portion of "Mediterranean" food daily, for a year, and never get tired of it. That is - of course - unless it was prepared by Fadi's. I hold no vendetta against these folks, so it's not as if I'm trying to GRILL them (pun intended)... But I really don't believe that they're actually trying very hard to make me like their food. For starters, the ordering procedure is convoluted and overly complex. I don't want to feel like I need to study for a test before deciding on what to eat. So please simply this process, for future reference. Next, and even more depressingly, everything tastes pretty much the same here. It's never a good thing, when you can't tell the difference between chicken, lamb, and fish. But I'll be darned if I could distinguish between any of the proteins at this restaurant, aside from the texture. Flavor profiles are incredibly pertinent in terms of middle-eastern recipes. Sadly, Fadi's is relying on their customers not being aware of how GREAT Mediterranean flavors are really supposed to be. There needs to be dynamic and varying levels of taste going in all directions, rather than just olive oil and monotoned herbs. I should try to be more compassionate, but the price paid was simply too high for charity. Clean up your act, Fadi's. Dallas deserves better than this.

Shawarma in my Belly

By Ttocserpmada |

So it's not a buffet like the old location on Preston road. That being said they loaded me up with everything I wanted. More than enough food that I took some of it to go. Generous portion of chicken to go with the potatoes, hummus and various salads. Everything was presented and looked very fresh. I didn't see anything that seemed like it had been sitting out all day. I will definitely go back again. For a Saturday night there were a lot of people in the area, but the restaurant was only moderately full with no waiting. Not an expensive meal. I recommend.

Amazing variety of food and fresh, fresh, fresh!!

By bobb687 |

We were visiting Dallas recently and our kids suggested Fadi's. So jealous!!! Wish I had this restaurant in Miami.....we would eat lunch or dinner there everyday!! My wife and I shared a sampler platter for less than $14.00 and we walked away stomachs full and very happy. Many different kinds of salads, hummus, fish, meats and breads are available and everything looked and tasted as if it was just made. Great fresh food at a great price!!

Very average food

By She M |

I come from the Middle East. So my experience here wasn't that great at all. The only food I would probably eat from here would be the appetizers. Rest of everything is just barely authentic Mediterranean food kind. Not going back.

If you're really hungry go to this place. Lamb is good and the plates are huge and clean. Customer service is good and they all are friendly.

YUM!!!

I had never been there before... but it was awesome. My friend used to go there all the time and she turned me on to it. So glad she did. Great food! Huge portions! Nice people.

I like this place

By Pete G |

Like being overseas in the food offerings and atmosphere; excellent food choices, healthy and flavorful. A sort of cafeteria in that you pass in a line to select your choices, but don't let that turn you off. Fresh kabobs can be ordered to supplement what you choose. I would dine here often if I lived closer.

Fresh food

By TamikaNOTG |

Enjoyed the food very fresh. Cafeteria like setup, but food was still good. Had a great variety, and not a long wait on ordered food. Tasted very authentic. Parking was a bit of an issue at this location. Staff was very friendly.

Still A Great Place For Mediterranean Food

By gpbvkb |

Been a while since I took the wife to Fadi's. First choice around the block was closed. Good choice of meats and veggies. Will return!

Very good & fresh !

By Teresa L |

Lamb shank is an up charge, but pay it. Roasted tender lamb shank, yum... Chicken & fish are good as well. Lots of veggies, green beans & roasted cauliflower standout. Wonderful salads as well. Cafeteria walk thru style restaurant, moderate prices but the food is very good. The Fadi sampler plate is a must if you are new to Fadi's. My girlfriend made me get it my first time there & she was right. A taste of everything, beyond a decadent feast. They do have to go boxes, lol

Great Mediterranean food!!

By hindustani31 |

Went to the one on Preston road and the food was great! We went at about 8.30PM, and the service was not top notch .. but manageable! The food was great and has plenty of vegetarian options.. they have 3 types of hummus (the cilantro one was yummy!!) Falafel wrap was great too .. would definitely revisit Fadi's .. great for a quick in and quick out.

Great take-out dishes, especially for vegetable sides.

The vegetables were good. The hummus had a strange aftertaste. The meat selection wasn't so great. I paid extra for lamb that was overcooked and had gristle in it. Restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated. Great selection for vegetarians, but personally I won't be going back.

Fast, fresh, and healthy

By Suzana K |

Looking for something that is fast, fresh, and healthy? Look no further. Fadi's has multiple fresh and healthy meal choices to suit any palate. Vegans to carnivores will find something yummy. The fast casual atmosphere provides a no fuss dining environment and if that's not your preference get it to go.

BEST FOOD IN DALLAS

By LCB104 |

If you are looking for a great place to stop by and have lunch or dinner this is your place! The food is out of this world. They have an enormous variety from which to choose and I pretty much just go in and tell them exactly what I want on a plate lol. The staff is so nice and loving and you can tell they really care about this place. My phone was running out of battery and they offered to charge it up for me while I was eating. The desserts are a huge reason to come. REALLY REALLY GOOD! Just mouth watering. And! their pita bread is still hot right of the oven every time you grab a piece to dip into your food. I would highly recommend this place! No bad experiences exist here Another great thing is its location. Once you are done eating there is a very classy street it is located on called Knox street which is great to stroll up and down and maybe even grab an ice cream. So you can even make a real outing out of it!!! btw this is also a very child friendly environment for those of you with little ones :)

Fast, affordable with friendly staffs.

This is the Mediterranean food in Dallas. Lamp shank is the best here. Many choices of salad. Fresh bake pita breads. For a quick lunch or dinner, you cannot go wrong.

Disappointed Mother's Day lunch--very different from the Preston location

By Att2d |

I choose Fadi's for our Mother's Day lunch. We had previously gone to the Preston location, which now appears to be closed, and ended up at this Knox location just after noon. They changed their menu from the option of unlimited sides with a meat, to having to pay per side. I choose the rice and Greek salad as my sides. Both were fine--nothing special. My husband and son choose the 3 sides option. My husband's sides (rice, salad and baba ganoush) were fine, but my son's humus was strange and his tabouli should be renamed parsley salad. The humus was very light in color and very acidic--like it had too little Tahini and too much lemon juice. The meat choices at noon on Mother's day were underwhelming. Our choices included fish or two other unrecognizable options. For $1.99 more we could opt for a lamb shank. A final option was to wait 20 minutes for a kebab. We all had the fish which came with some veggies. It was fine--nothing special. We were all disappointed as we had fond memories of the Preston location where we never had a bad meal. There are many Mediterranean restaurants to choose from, so unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning to Fadi's.

Great if you love healthy dining.

By Caroline G |

They have so many salads to choose from, and everything I tasted was great, but there cauliflower is to Die FOR!! They should have it on the menu EVERYDAY!!!!!!! There chicken is soo good too, just a little slow coming out, but worth the wait!

The best Mediterranean restaurant in Dallas

By Vivek S |

I have been going to Fadis with my family for over 10 years now and haven't find a place as good anywhere in Dallas and tens of other cities that I have visited. There are plentiful delicious options - all of them very affordable - but nothing to beat their platters. A veggie platter costs about 10 bucks and is large enough to feed two people. Fresh made delicious food at reasonable prices - I can't ask for more!

Very tasty food. The babaganoush was great. I tried all three types of hummus, all were excellent. The salads were delicious. I chose the curry chicken. It was tasty but could have been warmer.

Fadi's in Dallas

By desertlori |

This restaurant is certainly one of my favorites! My friend and I discovered Fadi's on Preston Road in Dallas because she had a coupon. This was almost a year ago and we just keep going back. They have a "salad bar" which offers 3 different flavored kinds of hummus, baba ganoush, Greek salad, tabouli, etc. So much to choose, you'll want a bite of each. Then, for an addition $2 you can add your choice of meat or fish. I don't know what kind of fish it is, but it's delicious! Along with the entree are different hot veggies and they are so good too. Or you can order a gyro which will keep you full for a day! It's cafe style and very casual but the wait staff keeps the place clean and tidy. They need to re-do the background music as it gets scratchy sometimes but don't let that stop you. I think the value for the food is great! I don't think it's pricey at all. Good place for friends, family, kids, solo.

Mediterranean Style Buffet

By 860SusanB860 |

We have been stopping by Fadi's for several years now and still enjoy it. The fresh foods on the buffet style line are always tasty and plentiful. The Salad Sampler for $10 is a great deal - different flavors of hummus, Greek salad, cucumber and tomato salad, and fresh pita bread always hit the spot! The vegetables are also delicious. Our favorites are the green beans and tomatoes, creamed spinach, and roasted cauliflower. There is also a wide variety of meats, with their baked fish and chicken being standouts. The price is right - the food is fresh and healthy. Nice comfy interior. Check it out!

Disappointing... choices limited

By Dina S |

There used to be a Fadi’s on Preston Road which was fabulous and a favourite every time I visited Dallas. This closed down and therefore we decided to visit this branch. Sadly to say that we were disappointed. The buffet is no longer self service, you are served the items which you require from behind the counter and there is no provision for going back again- you are only allowed one serving which in my mind defies the idea of a buffet. The baba ghonoush which Fadi’s used to do very well was a completely out of taste and watered down. There were also no green vegetables in the vegetarian section. Overall a disappointing experience. I don’t think I will be coming back again.

Mediterranean Grill

By Glenn Almack |

After a trip to the gym, I wanted to have something simple to eat. I decided to revisit Fadi's Mediterranean Grill. This is a cafeteria style buffet, which offers a variety of Middle Eastern food options. I chose an order of Dolmades (rice in grape leaves), that were pre-shrink-wrapped, and a Chicken Gyro, which I thought would be a simple and straight forward meal. But despite having eaten Gyro's from London, to various locations in the U.S., Fadi's has either an odd rendition of a Gyro or I was given a substitute item, as the rotisserie was already off for the evening. What I received was grilled chicken in a dried wrap (not grilled pita), with onions, and pickles inside to my surprise. My receipt showed a Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, when I looked closer. This was my second visit, and I won't repeat this purchase, as both experiences were an average dining experience. Providing a generous 3 stars.

Fast Food Feel

By ladychattelain |

The food had a very commercial feel about it. It was tasty but wasn't so much so I wanted to linger or to go back again. The serving line was very compact and dining room crowded. The selections were nice only the plating was sloppy. You felt rushed ordering, being served and eating which isn't what I associate with a great Mediterranean meal. In fairness, I could probably find great satisfaction in the food if I frequented often. I would identify my favorite items then take away opposed to dining in.

The best!

By Rose G |

I stop here at least 3 times a week and food is always fresh and tasty. Expect the best Humous and the amazing Baba Ghanoush ever! With only $12 you can have everything. It gets very busy between 12 and 2pm but you can still find a corner to sit.

Delicious Food

Read reviews on several Lebanese restaurants and decided to try this one. Everything was delicious! I would highly recommend the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Restaurant was clean and staff very friendly.

Mediterranean Delight

By Sahit_the_savvy |

If you want to find out what the whole buzz around Mediterranean food is about, you must pay a visit to Fadi's. Everything is very fresh, very tasty, very healthy. The food layout is like a cafeteria, you move through the salads and cold appetizers (hummus varieties, babaganoush etc) first, and the servers fill your plate with whatever you wanted. Then, the hot sides (veggies) and pitas (meat, cheese, spinach). You must ask if you want to find out what each dish is. Don't be shy, ask away. Otherwise, you could be missing out. Then, hot pita bread right out of the oven. Then, you come to the main dishes. They have the lamb shank to die for (get it with rice). They have a fish dish, a chicken dish, musakka (if it's your lucky day). You can also order from a whole array of kebabs. They will bring it to your table when it's done. By this time, you are nearing the cash register and you are standing in front of the dessert section: Baklava! Or kunafa! I told you, you are in a different world. Their squeezed juices are also delicious. Prices are reasonable, and they have many different combos. The ambiance is nice, it is not like a whole in the wall, but it is not a formal place either. You are there to take care of business. Deliciousness business that is. Although this review was for their Knox, Dallas location, it pretty much holds true for all their Dallas and Houston locations. I hope they did not get harmed from the Harvey in Houston. Must try if you are in Dallas and / or Houston.

Delicious mediterranean cuisine

By Raelie A |

Enjoy this delicious Mediterranean food at Fadis! It was recommended by a friend when I was traveling in Dallas and now it is my turn to do so! The prices are really affordable, for really big portion and delicious dishes! The service was really good, the staff was really nice and competent. The ambiance homely and warm that accompany the delicious meal. Amazing pitas, freshly baked! I am vegetarian and I had plenty of healthy choices!! Great restaurant for families or dinner with friends, or romantic date! I highly recommend it if you are in the Dallas area :)

My favorite restaurant in the world

By kjk |

This is the place If you like beautiful food that tastes amazingly fresh and delicious without pompous waiters and long waits. The hummus and pita is worth the trip alone, the cauliflower- I don’t even like cauliflower- but what they do to it is magic. Then the salad selections, the vegetables selections, the shawarma....I usually can’t get past the hummus selection... oh the baba ganoush to die for. We drive 350 miles to eat here, it’s that good.( We see grandchildren too so I guess I exaggerate.) but if you read my reviews, I don’t gush often. The only negative thing is the location by SMU ( the one we go to) is 350 miles away from my house.... and they could recover their bench seats!

Red Snapper is amazing!

By redbird3 |

The red snapper here is worth coming for alone! The salad with mushrooms and spinach and side of rice completes one of the best lunches at a restaurant I've ever had. Huge portion for only $8. The original hummus is fantastic with their fresh pita, but is not included with the lunch special.

Informal, Delicious and Inexpensive

By Linda V |

Tasty mediterranean food, buffet style. A 'sampler platter' is enough for two....and gives you an excuse for some wonderful flaky and sweet baklava for dessert. Not a fancy place at all, but very good fresh food. You get your food fast, but it's tasty and healthy and the place is clean. Not a quiet romantic place, but great for what it is. Nice vegetarian food as well as a good variety of meat.

Fast, fresh, and delicious

By Linda E |

We have never been disappointed when we visit Fadi's. They offer a great variety of fresh salads, and nicely prepared vegetables and meats.

Veggies at their best!

By TXMARTINS |

The first time I went I was overwhelmed with the amount of choices, but found the sampler was the perfect way to try several things - none of which disappointed. Fresh, amazing hummus (the spicy is my personal favorite), crisp salads, and warm roasted oven cauliflower are hard to beat. Whether a vegetarian or a meat lover there is something for everyone here! Tip: Get a small or medium hummus to go home - better than any grocery variety you will find!

Cold, messy, tasteless, ripoff

By Micky M |

I ordered a veggies platter, a kabab platter with extra kebab, falafel, and a gluten free torte. The kebab platter alone was $40+. There were several sides, sauces and pitas included. They gave me 2 styrofoam boxes with wet rice, wet spinach, wet lettuce all sort of piled on as if someone had taken a ladle and just spooned everything into the same box. The kebabs were the size of a child's chicken nuggets, and not what I'd picked. and rubbery and dry depending on whether it was beef or chicken. I didn't see the lamb i'd ordered. The falafel were cold, dry and clearly had been made hours if not days ago. They didn't have a GF dessert so they substituted in 3 broken dry pieces of baklava. Inedible. Just a horrible, miserable experience and an utter embarrassment to medi restaurants everywhere let alone the famous FADI. Ruined my evening. Of course I won't be back, but unless your standards are a Subway sandwich with soggy tomato and mystery deli meat, be prepared to be disappointed. Your mileage may vary.

Refugee lunch

By Gregory M |

My wife and I are in Dallas for a few days, refugees from Houston courtesy of Hurricane Harvey. We found this familiar restaurant name and tried it. I'm pleased to say the quality of the food matched the experience of the Houston locations. Recommended.

Good selection across the board

By KayK0512 |

The hummus and baba ghanoush are really good. The salads are also good. The other veggies are just okay. For a newcomer, the whole menu and process are a bit confusing, and the servers behind the line aren't very helpful. For instance, I couldn't tell what my meat options were, so I wound up just getting a veggie platter. The pitas -- white and whole wheat -- are hot and fluffy. If I were in the neighborhood, I'd come back, but I wouldn't drive to get here. Afrah's in Richardson is much better.

The greatest selection of Mediterranean food

By bchace |

This always a special place to visit and take friends. The sampler plate will introduce you to a fantastic array of all different foods.

Great food, busy during weekday lunch

By Dallas Traveler |

The food is fresh and excellent if you like Mediterranean fare. The lines are long during lunch time on the weekdays, but otherwise service is quick.

There was a piece of a blade in the food

By Saumya R |

My husband and I love mediterranean food. We have frequented Fadi's since we moved to Dallas. We are vegetarians, so we get the Vegetarian Sampler plate and/or the Falafel plate. The food is OK, there is quite a bit of choice for vegetarians. This is something I appreciate especially after moving to Texas. However, on TWO occasions we have found weird things in our food. Once it was hair in the couscous salad and this last time- a blade!..An honest to god BLADE..my husband was luck he did not cut his tongue on it. The "owner" was apologetic- and even gave us a free baklava- this does not make up for SHODDINESS!!. We will never go back.

Very satisfying Mediterranean meal

By Gregory M |

Visiting from Houston, I was pleased to find this well-known restaurant (to me) name. I like their locations in Houston very much, and this location certainly is up to their standards. My meal of baba ganoush, fresh green beans, fried cauliflower, and beef/chicken combo shawarma was very good. Enthusiastically recommended!

Reasonable price and great selection

By Texmission |

We received some coupons and decided to eat lunch at the Preston Rd. location near Addison and it was a very good value. The salads were fresh, vegetables nice but I missed the cauliflower they usually serve that is really good! My husband and I had the fish and rice pilaf which was really good. Some of the side dishes had too much vinegar or lemon making them all taste similar. I know this is a characteristic of Mediterranean food but it is a little much. Over all the meal was a great value. Try the lamb. It is always excellent if available even though it is more expensive!

Value for money

By Natassia A |

Good salads, nice dips the rest was a little tasteless, meat was ok but overall value for money for a quick lunch.

Fresh Fresh & More Fresh

By tberry88 |

The line up of food is beautiful & fresh! I am addicted to the fattoush & green beans. Spicy hummus is always amazing, we order a large to go although the freshly made chips & pita breads don't hold up so great after a ride home in a bag. The lamb shawarma is our favorite! We like so much of the food my husband & I had to prioritize what our favorite things were & split everything so we can taste it all! haha! Not the friendliest people working here, but thats ok, they have never been rude either..

Great fast Mediterranean Food

By vacationerdallas |

I love walking in and being able to eat immediately! You can serve yourself and the food is great! Hummus, salads, herbed chicken and lots of Greek and Middle Eastern foods.

Great food served cafeteria style

By AVGTXN |

Sunday lunch. Great mediterranean food uniquely served in a cafeteria format. The Sampler is enormous and enough food for two. The salads are fresh and healthy. Hummus choices are great. The standout was the pita. Parking can be an issue since this location fronts on Central Expressway.

Fadi's has always been good; they pulled through the pandemic with flying colors

By NaturalAdventure |

Wow, Fadi's really kicked it up a notch during the last year. The quality of the food has not declined at all, if anything it's significantly improved. Surely 5 stars. They've been a comfort for the area during these hard times, and I've done my best to support them in return.

Good vegetarian option

By Shutterbug_Iyer |

The vegetarian platter was delicious and sumptuous with hummus and baba ghanoush. Wonder why falafel was not included and had to be ordered separately.

BEST MEDITERRANEAN RESTAURANT

By Ftabbara |

I enjoyed every bite. Great customer service. try their fadi's smapler platters with the lamb kabob or the lamb gyro.

Try a sampler

By Nancy W |

After an afternoon of theater, an evening of Mediterranean food hit the spot for our group of seven. The sampler is a great value. You go through the line and the server scoops out as many of the dips, salads and vegetables as you want onto a large plate. Spinach hummus was new to me and delicious, and the cauliflower, tabbouli, and spinach with fruit salad were also outstanding. There's fresh pita, too. The ultimate sampler includes meat like shawarma (mmmm!) or fish. Meat & spinach pies, lamb shanks, and desserts are also available. So much food--but boxes for leftovers are standing by at the ready. Most of our group was totally satisfied. There was one problem, though. One of us is allergic to garlic, and when she asked going through the line which items had it,she was told pretty much everything. But the man at the register (the owner?) said that wasn't so and walked her back through the line. Unfortunately, one of her items did have garlic, and she was NOT happy. So if you have food sensitivities, beware.

Great value for a Chicken Shawarma! Friendly service and quality sandwich. My wife had the salad with chicken and enjoyed it as well.

Catering is unreliable

By JillPyle |

Food delivered an hour late. Driver got lost; wouldn't / could't take directions; didn't seem to know north/south or east/west. When I asked management for a reduction in the $600+ bill, I was told I was wrong. The food was fantastic, but I cannot rely on this restaurant for catering or customer service.

Best Mediterranean food outside of the Mediterranean itself!

By Natalie Tanner B |

We could not get enough of the food at this restaurant and eat there whenever we are in Dallas. There is another Fadi's in Houston, too. My favorite dish is the vegetarian platter which lets you taste every single vegetarian dish. Oh, my goodness delicious! The roasted cauliflower is my favorite but each bite is both delicious and good for you. When was the last time you had both of those words on the same sentence!? :) It is easy to leave stuffed so take the fruit drink in a to go cup. . I like a mix of mango and strawberry myself but the magic mix so delicious, too. The staff is lovely and will explain what is in a dish. I can't wait to go back!

Unbelievable food, prices, and taste. Great service.

By Cassandra C |

Very clean. Food was super hot. When we said we were first-timers and wanted to try a bunch of stuff, they hooked us up. Absolutely delicious. Our plates were packed. We ended up buying a bunch of desserts to take with us to the hotel. We enjoyed it tremendously. I wish they had one in San Diego. We would be regulars.

Good but others are better

By KayK0512 |

It's very confusing trying to figure out how to order. The hummus was excellent, but many of the other side dishes were very bland. My husband got the chef's special, roasted lamb shank, and he loved that. Otherwise, he agreed with me that most of the sides and salads had little flavors. We wanted to try Fadi's again since it had re-opened, but we'll stick with Afra or Alibaba's in the future for their buffets. BTW: the place was packed, so maybe it's just us.

Beware if you have allergies

By s G |

This restaurant did a nice job labeling on paper what was in all the dishes, gluten, nuts, dairy etc. However, the servers were poorly trained in my opinion, since the server reached to use the spoon in the Tabouli to serve me my mixed salad. I had to tell him to stop, that the spoon would have bulgur on it and that he needed to use a clean spoon. He seemed oblivious to the notion.

By hebkram |

I broke my Ramadan daily fast at this location recently. Wonderful in every aspect. Fresh salads. Fall off the bone meats. Amazing flavor. Great value! Our family was well taken care of. I am extremely impressed with the success and quality of the Fadi restaurant branches. I have not been disappointed at any of them. Happy Ramadan !

Best Mediterranean Food Outside of Greece

By Tina W |

This restaurant is amazing. I can't even begin to describe the feeling of the grilled cauliflower melting in your mouth. The vegetable platter is hands down the best meal you can get in Dallas.

Always busy.

By Jessica B |

One of the greatest Mediterranean restaurants in Dallas. Love their friend onions on the Humus and the grilled chicken with the garlic sauce.

I would go back again for the appetizers

By lavin a |

Fadi's in not a buffet style (all you can eat ) restaurant. But if you pay for the sampler (about $ 13$ you can get a plate of little sample of all of their appetizers like hummus, and different kinds of salads which were tasty. A choice of meat comes with your sampler plate which I chose chicken shawarma. The shwarma, however, was not good at all. It was very very dry and bland. The lamb shank looked very good though. Next time I go, I will get the sampler with lamb. The service is very fast and the price is reasonable.

Nice selection

By SusanC |

Ate here for lunch. Large selection of food cafeteria style. Parking area is free but small. Very busy during lunch. Person serving was not very friendly and seemed annoyed that we were not sure what to choose. Restaurant was very crowded and noisy. Food was good except for the cauliflower which was stone cold. Serving sizes were very large and we took had of it home.

Great buffet dinner

By Rather_Nomadic |

Went here with a group before a wine/cheese tasting at Scardello. We ordered a variety off the buffet and ate family style. we enjoyed everything and it tasted fresh. It might not be 100% authentic but it was very tasty and close enough for us. Nice pricing. Good sized seating area even though it looks a little small from the outside in a strip mall. Kids are welcome. Friendly service. We will definitely go back again.

Awesome Halal Food

By MonMon_Beh |

One of the best restaurants in Dallas that serves Halal food .....Reasonable prices and good amount of food ………lamb and salads were amazing

What a find!

By Rose H |

This place is amazing. Generous portions and the best hummus and tabuli salad I ever tasted. The selection is impressive and I will be going back with friends to eat here soon. It's clean and well laid out too and a real good price for the fresh stuff they serve.

Really great Lebanese Food

By chrisconsul |

We heard only good things about this place and the one in Houston is great so we tried it and we were not disappointed! The buffet is awesome, fresh vegetables in many variations, mouthwatering starters with very nice and clean presentation and yummie meat skewers with lamb and beef! At the end we left some food on our plates as we were too full to finish and this was a shame, sorry Fadi.....overall a very recommendable place, not so far from downtown.....we gonna be back...

Excellent!

By Linda h |

It was excellent. We had visited the restaurant before and were so impressed with the atmosphere and food, we returned with guests. They so enjoyed the food and service. Now, they said they will be returning for another dinner, because of the qualify of the food and the atmosphere.

The Best Mediterranean In Dallas!

By jareds220 |

It is difficult not to come here at least once a week. They have a huge selection of dishes and they are always fresh. The meats are always great as well. The portions are enormous as well. Fantastic value!

Yummy food at a good price!

By Kenzie H |

I'm vegetarian and I found this place to be very yummy! My friend who eats meat loved it as well. My only "needs improvement" would be that the food was a bit cold for my tastes. When I go back I'll probably ask them to stick my plate in the microwave so it is hot enough.

Good Middle Eastern Fare

By f1dotcom |

Met up with some old colleagues that I havent seen in years. One of them decided that we should meet up here for lunch. Tried their buffet. Good spread of salads and you get to choose one main entree. Simple, good and tasty food.

Decent Mediterranean Cuisine

By Gabriel M |

This is the best Fadi's in DFW. The one on Preston closed down and the one in Richardson burned down. That only leaves the one in Frisco. The best meats here are the beef kabob, chicken shawarma, and gyro. The lamb shank was bland and tasteless. Really nice variety of good quality humus. Salads are nice and fresh, and the vegetables are delicious. I love the chocolate drizzled baklava.

Delicious & Great Value

By bookofadventures |

Cafeteria style service. You start at the door with a tray and make your way to the register, going through a line of various dishes. We each got the 1 entree & 2 sides combo. Herb chicken, green beans, and the chickpeas were the best. Each meal comes with 2 pitas and all drinks/desserts can be purchased separately. Overall, the food was great. And you get a lot of it for the money. I would highly recommend this place!

Who know cafeteria style would work

By azucarnegra_dfw |

I have to say that i have never been to a Mediterranean restaurant that had cafeteria style dining. My co-workers invited me to lunch and we visited Fadi's for a middle eastern treat. The line form at the door as you enter the restuarant. Grab a tray and a plate, now choose your hummas, salad, rice, bread, and meat. You can order a few other meats: shawarma etc. and then there has sweets and beverages. The food was tasty and i have returned since my first lunch with coworkers. Tip: Parking is limited, come in one car.

Great Persian Option near Downtown Dallas

By Ashar G |

If you have been to Fadi's then this is a typical one with the same great tasting food, giant portions and reasonable prices and if you have not and would like to sample middle eastern food then Fadis' is a great place to start. Nice clean atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious strawberry smoothie...yum.

kinda underwhelming

Very good if you can find a parking space at lunch!!!

By DFW_Happy_Travelers |

I met a friend here for lunch and it took at least 20 minutes to find a parking space. The surface parking was filled with so many cars hunting for a space that they were like vultures. And the underground parking was the same, except darker! But, once I found a spot and walked a couple of blocks to the restaurant, I was pleased. The couscous combined with fruit was delicious, as were the chicken shawarmas with the tzatziki-type of sauce. The spicy hummus was good, but not overly spicy. Overall, a very reasonably priced buffet style service. Just go before or after the lunch hour if you want to easily find parking.

Great casual dining

By medscape |

I had a Sampler platter and everything I tried was delicious. It was so good I went back a second time during my visit to Dallas. It was very busy both times but well worth waiting in line for good quality fresh food.

Great Veggie Buffet

By Joe H |

Mediterranean food.. Served buffet style (you ask for something, servers put on plate so everything stays sanitary). Great spread and great food. Runs about $13 but you get what you pay for.

Awesome

By elonwil |

I love Mediterranean food, the Lamb BAAAA was awesome. Tender really well seasoned Dolmas was really good too.

Fresh, Cheap and Ample portions for Greek/Mediterranean

By Ranga Natarajan |

I used to be a regular to Fadi's when I lived in the Dallas area. I revisited the place again last year and the food was still good and fresh. The fresh Pita and the ample choices that you get from the cafeteria style display is really good and always being replenished with fresh stuff. I love their cauliflower, Cabbage, Humus and the Lamb kebabs or the Shawarma. I usually have left overs as the portions are humongous. It has become a local chain as there are multiple locations now but I always have a soft corner to this location.

Incredible Med Cuisine in Plano, TX

By isdn4u |

My wife and I had recently toured the Mediterranean and enjoyed many great local meals--- Fadi's in Plano brought back memories of fresh, nicely prepared Med dishes. From the homemade hummus and eggplant to grilled chicken--- this place has it all. Bring your appetite because they serve Texas sized portions! I can't wait to go back!

Best spiced Mediterranean food I have ever eaten

By capitollover |

I had the vegetarian sampler plate which was very fresh and delightful. Best hummus I have ever had anywhere. The portions are so huge that 2 adults could easily share. The pita bread was fresh and chewy, too. There are a number of platters w/meat as well individual dishes, baklava and other sweets, and turkish coffee. Patrons walk down a very long serving line, but the seating is comfortable. I have been there both for lunch and dinner and the food was great both times of day.

Looking for lamb

By Erin O |

I have been wanting good lamb for awhile and I remembered there was a Fadi's not far from my work. I had never been inside, my boyfriend picked up food to go once and it was good. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday with the service and food! Parking was frustrating and there wasn't any place to sit at first, but I was politely greeted and walked through the ordering process. The hummus was great! I tried all four, had warm, whole wheat pita bread, couscous salad and the sliced lamb I had been craving! I had leftovers for lunch today and everything tasted just as good, I will definitely go back soon. It is more of a lunch place than dinner.

Great service and food

By ismfaustus |

Service was quick and very professional and helpful. We had fish and lamb with several sides. I also had dessert. The lamb was falling off the bone and very tasty. The fish was not overcooked, fresh, and flavorful. All the sides were delicious and tasted fresh including the salads. The staff was very polite, pleasant and helpful. We spent under $35.

Great Food!!

By TravelBug_mg03 |

Recently I have been introduced to Middle Eastern food and Fadi's is by far one of the best! I tried the chicken kabob meal and was not disappointed! The staff was helpful and friendly, the restaurant inviting and easy to find. I wish they had a location closer to home.

Surprise Gem!

By Chocodoc |

My boyfriend and I were starving on our way home and told him to look up mediterranean food and this little gem popped up. I was kind of weary of going in since it looked kind of cafeteria style, but hunger overcame and we stepped in! and OMG, we ordered the Fadi's Sampler which is basically you can pick each and every one of the appetizers and humus and veggies plus one meat for 13.99. It is a massive plate of food. We ordered spinach hummus and babaganoush, some veggies, cauliflower, an extra spinach pie, rice and had the lamb. I will come back to either order the Fadi's sampler or the veggie sampler depending on the mood. The place was full of families of Middle Eastern decent so I always take that as a sign of good food. if your grandma eats restaurant food and says it's good, go! Will return again and again!

Great place for vegetarians with lots of healthy choices!

By TripsAh0y |

We had dinner here last night and enjoyed the way you order by shuffling down the line picking and choosing what goes on your plate - getting to sample a little of everything. The couscous salad was terrific, as were the potatoes, rice, hummus, and vegetarian options. The best thing we ordered was definitely the cheese bread! Imagine a big round fluffy pita bread smothered in mozzarella cheese (sort of like a white pizza!). Our order got mixed up and it took about 20 minutes to get some of our food, but the staff was very apologetic about it and even brought us free baklava for dessert!

Delicious and Generous

By Tarek A |

There could be parking issues sometime to the location near downtown Dallas, but the food was amazing, the staff were very generous and the price was very reasonable. Definitely recommended for Middle Eastern food lovers looking for lots of variety for a reasonable price.

Never Disappointing

By desotoeaglemom |

Fadi's consistently provides mouth watering presentation, aromas and taste in a pristine yet comfortable environment. The food is fresh and wonderfully seasoned, portions are generous, and staff is very polite and professional. The beef pies and feta pies are heavenly!

Healthy and Delicious

By small4one |

Fadi's has a variety of Mediterranean dishes. The salads, veggies, tabouleh, grilled chicken, baked fish, cooked to order kabobs, sandwiches. Everything I've tried is delicious and healthy.

An international stopping place

By DonJancauskas |

Having lived in Saudi Arabia and traveling all over the middle east for a number of years both my wife and I were missing the variety of genuine middle east flavors. There are many advertised middle east restaurants but very few serve the many varieties and choices to be found from that part of the world. Fadi's has figured out a great way to cater to those many tastes. It is set up as a buffett for all the fruits and vegetable choices along with all the dips and sauces so you can do vegetarian if you prefer ---and/or ---you can add both your swarma middle eastern type sandwiches or numerous varieties of meat and fish dishes. The key ingredient is the spices and you can add those yourself or have them included in the hot meat and fish dishes. All the items we tried were excellent. The best part was the many people who sat all around us from every corner of the earth. Good middle eastern food is hard to find but everyone seems to know that Fadi's is the place to go for great food and meeting people.

Ikea of Mediterranean Food

By VegasBling |

Walking into this place is incredible! So many choices. Servers get a little impatient if you don’t know what you want, so be sure to review the menu board carefully or download the menu from the internet before placing your order in the line. Vegetables are fresh and colorful. The spices used are flavorful, and food is so tasty. The Pita Bread = wow! The meat/fish selection – amazing! The desserts – oh my! I am posting many photos with my review – the photos say it all. Every single thing we ate was great! Even though their menu is full of typos, it certainly has nothing to do with the food. Private parties can be booked in the Sultan Room – check Fadi’s website for prices and catering options. Love Fadi’s. Follow Fadi’s on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube – and be sure to return.

Delicious to the max!!!

By Deborah M |

Cafeteria style café: grab a tray and walk the line. FOOD: Had the Fadi's sampler which is sample size portions of prepared dips, salads, veggies, one choice of meat, pita chips and fresh baked pita bread. Everything was fresh and delicious!!! Asterisk on what we had. There was four choices of *hummus; *three types of salads including greek, tabbouleh, couscous; *asparagus; three meats--*fish in tomato sauce or chicken, and for (1.95 extra) *lamb shank. Unlimited *chips and *bread. Choice of two small meat pies are extra--will try next time. Desserts are extra: *baklava was very good. There is a "chef's corner" to order kebab, falafel, schawarma--will try this next time. ATMOSPHERE: Pleasant and inviting. Simple decor. OVERALL: So glad we discovered Fadi's on AroundMe and Google apps. A happy and delicious accident to find this place and we will definitely return as regulars.

The best Mediterranean food around.

By gtkermit1 |

We don't have a Fadi's in the Austin area so I have to take advantage of dining here whenever I am in Dallas. The Sampler platter is my favorite. They start with a large plate and you choose (from what seems like scores of choices) all the sides you want on the plate, then you choose what meat you want. Actually this is too much food for one person so my wife and I regularly share one platter. Their hummus is delicious, the babaganoush is tops, the baked cauliflower is amazing. If all this is to much then you can simply order a wrap. they also have delicious fruit smoothies made from 100% fruit.

Great pitas!

Great pitas!

Used a Groupon deal, worth it.

By TheTraveller87 |

There's plenty of fresh food to choose from. It's like a buffet with way various choices. Most of them, I believe are healthier compared to other regular buffets. I did eat way more than I normally eat so bring a big appetite and enjoy.
