I just Love to have a Good BBQ at the Backyard, so ist isnt easy to please me with a Good BBQ at a Restaurant, but i loved Famous Dave's! We had a feast for two with ribs, brisket, chicken, corn, fries, beans, and coleslaw and it was outstanding! Will come back again!!

Famous for a reason

By John B |

Is is nice to know that i can go to any famous daves and expect the same quality fare i get at any and all of the restaurants in the chain. I have only been disappointed once at famous daves, and thats when they got rid of the catfish for a short time. Famous daves listened to the people, and got them back, so life is good.

Fixing the

By Gregg M |

I've been to several Famous Dave's and the Las Vegas location near Lake Mead Blvd seems to be better run than most. Friendly service with a smile, the food was prepared better than usual and the server made sure we were well taken care of without being intrusive. Ribs were moist and not overcooked like many places (if it is falling off the bone, it's overdone). Half slab of ribs was a generous portion the evening I ate there.

Never Disappoints Me - Always Great

By fun traveler Ohio |

I live in the Midwest and we don't have this chain, but I have been to Famous Dave's in Denver. I was really happy to see this restaurant in Las Vegas. Of course we had to stop and I am never disappointed with their pulled pork. Loved it!

Yummy BBQ and Good Service

By Jim R |

I was staying next door in a hotel and decided to give Dave's a try. I was greeted by Diane who was so nice and friendly. I ordered the sample platter and was surprised at how good the items were. I filled up on brisket, ribs, tenderloin, onion rings, pickles and their banana desserts was out of this world good. Yum yum yum. Over all clean, priced reasonably, TV's for sports and a full bar. This place is fun and enjoyable. Thank you Diane for your hospitality and great service.

Good BBQ

By qhunnyb |

The thing I love the most at this restaurant is their corn bread muffin! It is sooo good. The Burnt Ends appetizer is delish...so tender and full of flavor. The All-American BBQ feast was large. My favorite is the sausage which we substituted for the brisket/pork. The sweet corn is not sweet, in fact it is very bland, the beans was good, the ribs and chicken were ok. Service was really good.

Good as usual

By DaveTout |

This BBQ chain never fails to satisfy. Although they stopped giving the chips away (we like dipping them in the various sauces) the food quality is still great. I like the range of flavors with the sauces they provide on the table. Try ordering the ribs without sauce and then sample a few (or all) of the sauces.

Famous Dave's BBQ

If you are looking for that great BBQ taste you got to eat here this place has a great menu with excellent selection of cold drinks the decor fits the restaurant great service with excellent food. Tables are too small for all the great food!

By jillbackeast |

I come to Vegas once a year and have made Dave's part of that tradition. I really like the atmosphere/decor. They keep the place very clean and dust free. The service was great (wish I could remember her name). Portions are huge. Price is fair. As far as the actual BBQ goes, it's good, but could be better. Not quite the real deal, but love all the sauce options. I will be back next year.

Famous Dave Must be From Texas

By Chava2014 |

On our way back from the Valley of Fire State Park (which is fabulous, by the way), we stopped at Famous Dave for BBQ. The filet time we had it was in Hawaii, but this one outside of Las Vegas was really good. The service was impeccable as well. I had three meats and I’m not sure which one I liked best. Typically you have to be in Texas for BBQ to taste that good. It’s easy to see how he got “Famous” for a first name.

Good For Vegas

By RokLov |

The food is good, but not as good as Texas, Memphis, or Kansas City BBQ. The ribs were good, and the brisket was excellent. The hot link, a little longer & thicker than the usual, was OK, but was lacking on the heat spices. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The wait time between ordering and food arrival was very reasonable. Impressive. A family friendly environment.

Above Average BBQ in Sin City Suburb

By Stargateman |

Food was pretty good - every BBQ place has a different taste and sauce, Dave's has sauce from mild to hot; both vinegar and tomato based. I had the two meat combo of brisket and pork and it was very good...all served on top of two pieces of Texas toast style bread. Brisket had caramelized crust that complimented the brisket taste and the pork was super tender. Also had two sides of Wilbur beans (baked beans) and steak fries. No complaints; very attentive waitress and reasonably quick service. If in the area again, I would make a stop at Dave's!

The bomb

By TNDRKISSES |

This place has the best cornbread muffins and the rib tips are nice and tender and flavorful.. They have great lunch specials too..

Great Barbecue

By Judi15825 |

Delicious food. My husband and I shared the feast for two and had enough left over for breakfast the next morning. Friendly service.

MMMMM is all we said after eating here

By UkMacyslover |

We went twice to eat at this place 1st time was with a groupon i had bought in the UK, we had the $37 dollar feast for 2-3 people & there was more than enough for 3 people but we didn't leave any it was gorgeous. With the Groupon i paid 14 pounds in the UK for 20 dollars worth of food, so our bill was next to nothing. Each time we went it was very busy & seemed like lots of locals used this place, which usually means it good & not a tourist trap

Good BBQ

By LV_Lee |

Went again to Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que and enjoyed good food and service. We enjoyed our lunch and will be back.

Bad Experience

By Emerald1125 |

We tried to use the Famous Dave's website to order an item in our favorites list, but the website gave us an error. We tried to use the Famous Dave's website to order again an item from our previous orders, but got a message that "Georgia Chopped Pork" is not available. We started a new order from scratch and the chopped pork was available. We tried to order online but there were no options for gravy on the mashed potatoes. We tried to order extra muffins as a side, but the price of muffins increased from $1.50 to $2.50. A 66% price increase in six months borders on criminal. Even at $1.50 they were borderline too expensive. They are not even full-size muffins; they are mini-muffins. We ordered extra muffins as a side, but they did not put the extra muffins into a separate container. They crammed the extra muffins into the entree container, which means they were wet and dirty and could not be saved. Famous Dave's did not include extra sauce as requested. Famous Dave's no longer puts names on the dinners; customers can no longer tell which is which in an order that contains multiple meals. From now on it is Texas Roadhouse for us.

Usually Good

By Michael T |

Apparently it was fathers day so the service was a little slow. Normally the food and service are pretty good. Today was not their best day. While another green valley bbq place has better bread, I really think it's personal preference and what you order.

Fantastic Food and Waiter!

By Brady K |

This Famous Dave's was a fantastic establishment! The restaurant was very clean, our waiter and the staff overall was very friendly and polite/enjoyable the entire time, and the food was absolutely fantastic! Everything about the meal was great and overall, this was just one of those very enjoyable times eating out from the food, to the friends, and to the restaurant experience as a whole! A bit pricey but other than that, very good! Will return when I am in town again!

Great Bbq Joint!!

By luco85 |

When arriving at the restaurant, you can see the smoke coming out from the meat smoker, and the smell is just irresistible! The ambiance inside is typical of a BBQ joint, with rolls of paper towels hanging by the table. Great selection of beer. Any meat you'll have, you'll love. I particularly enjoyed the pulled pork and the brisket. Cornbread was moist and tender too! Made me feel like i was where I belonged! :)

GREAT RIBS!! - Famous Daves

By W R |

We called ahead and had dinner at home. The ribs just fall off the bone, they are so messy, but messy is GOOD!!!!! Delicious!.and TENDER!! The Wilbur beans I love, there's just not enough of them in the take-out portion. Came with potatoes and a corn-bread muffin. Loved it all. We go every chance we can and will go again in the near future. A repeat customer. Sorry, should have brought my camera. I will next time.

The food is as GREAT as always but the 'atmosphere' is now sorely lacking

By Dan S |

Taking ourselves and even better - Friends to any of the Las Vegas Famous Dave's has always been at the top of our 'treat' list of things to do. We would either go to the store on North Rainbow if coming into town from the Mount Charleston area or the West Flamingo location if our day was spent at Spring Mountain Ranch or Red Rock Canyon. Sadly, the West Flamingo store was closed "due to a lease dispute." so now it is the North Rainbow store with any north or west valley activity. Sadly again this store was devoid of the hundreds of fun (kitschy) outdoorsy (hunting, fishing, you name it) wall decorations that certainly got our attention and always kept any of the kids going with questions and stories about various items while waiting for our AWESOME racks of ribs or burgers. Now just blank walls. That also made the place a LOT louder as the walls are corrugated sheet metal. Ignore the new 'ambience' and enjoy or do as we did and get their fantastic grub to go!!!

Chain Food

By Kathy C |

Two people - no alcohol - for lunch. The bill was $44. They didn't seem to have a lunch menu. The corn muffins were really good. The rest of the food was just ok. The waitress was attentive. We probably will not go back. I would not recommend it.

Good for a quick meal!

By Break0ut |

Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que is a great stop for good BBQ. The location is convenient and easy to find. There is a large and extensive assortment of BBQ entrees & side dishes. The burnt ends are one of my favorite choices. Healthy side choices are available on the menu.

Very good, would go back in a heartbeat

By 911ladydi |

Went to Dave's BBQ with some friends. Decor is what you would expect for a BBQ joint. Western theme and fun. Several tables of families. I understand why. Most having the platter (see photos already posted). We had the platter for 2. Way more food than we could eat. Ribs were perfect and sausage very tasty. Beans and coleslaw also very good. Cornbread also just perfect hint of sweetness. Hardly touched the fries as everything was so good wanted to eat that first as I can get fries anywhere. Only complaint might be that the corn on the cob was over cooked but didn't have room after all the other food to worry about it Will definitely go back!!!!!

good BBQ

By hearthis09 |

good BBQ, had the 1/3 slab ribs, coleslaw, BBQ beans, coffess and cesar salad. kinda off the strip, but I had a car. no waiting. ate at the bar which had multiple LCD tv's.

Love this place

By chris |

The service at this location is wonderful! I have sat both in the bar area and the dining room and both areas have servers that are attentive and work as a team. The food is delicious and I have never had the kitchen mess up on my order. Jessica, a bartender and server, gets to know her customers and serves them consistently with respect, accuracy, and efficiency. If you have any doubts, try the Sweet and Zesty sauce. It is the best, in my opinion. It's sweeter than the original and just enough spice to let you know it is there.

GREAT FOOD

By Shanna L |

The food at Famous Dave's barbeque cannot be beat and the service is awesome. I highly recommend when you visit ask for Amy she was the best waitress ever she went above and beyond to meet our needs and our expectations.

Great bar-b-que

By KCM T |

Excellent food and service. Would eat here again. Pulled pork sandwich and ribs were outstanding! Devil's Spit sauce is hot but very tasty!

Good BBQ and service

By RpII |

Great place for solo, friends, and kid friendly family dining. Good number of TV’s (a little small) for game watching. Service is excellent. I sat at the bar and Nick was great. I sampled the wings and pork tips with cole slaw and everything was delicious. Ideal place and portions for sharing.

Superb Service and Great Food

By Jason B |

The title says it all for this review. Our server is probably the best in Vegas - Jessica. She was top notch, attentive, and friendly. We would visit this venue again and again. Don't bother with any of the other restaurants in the same vicinity. You would be sorely disappointed. Just go to Famous Daves and have a good meal where the employees do care about their patrons.

awesome place

By Dvoyager1 |

VEry good food and really good service ask for Bob his waiter is incredible nice guy

Another great eating experience

By Ed T |

The food is fantastic. It will fill you up enough that you'll need a to go box. The staff are very friendly, and helpful.

Nice food

By Backrowslea |

Enjoyed my food here, big portions, not expensive, hardly anybody in when I went and was a bit concerned, however the food and service were very good.

Meaty & Tender

By GERALD G |

We checked out of one hotel called and ordered 3 slabs for 5 people and took them to the next Hotel. The Ribs were so Meaty & Tender even my Mom the teeth issues loved them so much she wanted to go back.

Relaxed, comfortable restaurant

By shasa_ist |

The portion sizes were good. Our server was very helpful during ordering. The food tasted good. The restaurant was mostly empty during lunch hours.

AWESOME ribs and sauce and great service and value!!!!

By I L |

We felt like eating ribs and no regrets. We took the sampler for 1 and shared it with extra cornmeal muffin (excellent btw). I Loved the roasted chicken and the ribs. The service was excellent also. We indicated it was our first visit and they gave us a free bottle of BBQ sauce to try at home. Made me want to go back again and again. Also as a side note I'm not a big fan of ribs in restaurants or of BBQ sauce( my boyfriend is) but I loved these one's!! REALLY worth the try.

Nice People Marginal Food

By ThomasTB49 |

I went there for a late lunch about 2PM. The place was empty but no one was watching the front desk so I waited a few minutes. Sat down and ordered. I had a 3 meat combo. Bar-b-que 1/4 chicken was good. I had one good piece of brisket the rest should have been burnt ends, it was burnt brisket. I had rib tips they were nothing but fat. I think other than the chicken the food was timed to be served earlier and was over done by 2PM. If so they should admit it not serve it. People were pretty nice but I didn't want to wait again for them to somehow fix the food so I didn't say anything. If they didn't care serving it the first time it would not have changed.

Great service, atmosphere, staff and BBQ food!

By Dean C |

From the moment I went into this restaurant to when I left I was impressed. The greeter was a real upbeat young man that turned us over to a great waitress. One of my friends doesn't like BBQ so the waitress gave him some guidance. The other two people and myself shared a BBQ platter which was more than enough for us. The prices won't break you and what can I say about the awesome ambience. Highly recommend!

Off the beaten track

By LCGL |

BBQ lovers heaven. A bit of the Outdoors indoors. The emphasis here is in smokey BBQ flavoured food with a huge variety of sauces to suit all palettes. Would certainly recommend the grilled pineapple as it goes well with most of the meats. Corn muffin can be a little dry but a nice replacement if u don't want a desert. Friendly service too.

First Visit

By Shellyah01 |

Great Food and lots of it. "homemade" lemonade was from the fountain. Asked server to box up food.. was promptly thrown away.

Good Food, Small Portions

By Mikai P |

We have ate here a couple times. Its pretty good. The pulled pork is good, and so is the cornbread. The one thing i think they could improve on is, larger portions. If you get a Sandwich and the one side, its not very filling. They are a little skimpy with the meat portions.

Slow as Molasses

By MimiLasVegasLasVEgas |

We went to Famous Dave's with several friends and we were the only group seated in the back room. We had two waitresses, who were pleasant but the kitchen was too slow. We sat down at 11:45am and did not get our food till 1pm. 1 hr and 15 mins before we were served, that is ridiculous. Again the food was good, I don't falter the waitresses but the kitchen staff took forever to make our food.

SLOWWWWWW

By LVXtlman |

Tuesday night, less than half-full and it takes 15 mins. to get our first drink, and still no order taken....if not a family outing would have left and gone to another local restaurant.....better places to waste time than here...

Great ribs

By convertibill321 |

Famous Daves has the friendliest wait staff I have seen in a long time. The ribs are outstanding and the sides included with the meal can't be beat.

Big portions

By Isaac A |

No matter what I get there is always a lot of food and it is very good. There menu is huge and there is so many different things you can get. There cornbread are very addicting and the BBQ sauces they have makes so that you can try many different things and never get tired of it.

Best BBQ Ribs in Town

By junenron |

Famous Dave's has unquestionably the best, tastiest BBQ ribs in town. The service is great, the prices are reasonable and all their food is sensational..

The business

By Phil U |

We visited in 2010 and again today. Nothing has changed. Excellent high standard food and service and well priced. This place looks like it used to. Still clean and attractive and offers lots of screens for the sport of your choice. Great little restaurant away from the strip so its not jam packed. Relaxed atmosphere and no pressure. Well done.

Terrible service, Left Hungry

By kathy c |

First I have to say that the food tasted great. Unfortunately there was not enough-we left hungry. My husband and I had the Que for 2. The server told us that it was plenty of food for two people. It was not. We ate everything too. The server was also very slow. After she brought our food, she came back one time to check on us, but by that time our drinks were empty! We had to ASK for refills. It took her a long time to bring our check. It's too bad that the portions and service brought down this review, because, as I said before--the food was great.

Great food

By DubStub |

Was shopping nearby and wanted a sit down place to eat. This was a good choice. The service was pleasant and menu had many choices. I had bbq nachos and they were delish. Seems like a great family restaurant.

Best Meal in Las Vegas

By annmarie_smith6 |

brilliant place , staff were great , full of fun , fast service, meat was divine , try the forest fruit cocktail if you dare, loved it , thank-you had a great night , will come and visit again

Terrific Bar-b-que!

By Kathy M |

We had a group of five for dinner for our last night in Vegas. Did not disappoint! Great ribs and cornbread. Good selection of sauces.

Great Ribs Turkey Burger not

By tazman1953 |

We went in on their specials night, I ordered a full Rack of Baby Backs and my wife had the Turkey Burger. Mine was great and their hot sauces are always a treat. My Wifes Turkey Burger was very dry and it had zero flavor, Sent it back twice, Islands has about the best Turkey Burger around

Love the ribs

By bronx616 |

This is not an over done or over price venue, friendly surroundings and service. I ordered the lunch combo (under $10) of St. Louis ribs and beef brisket, the beef was butter tender and very tasty, the ribs were just right with a nice screed that added crisp texture on top. Good value and great service by the local staff and floor manager.

Best BBQ ever!!!

By AnnGFlowers |

We have returned to this restaurant for several times now... We loved it!! The service and the food are great!!! The bbq is awesome. And they serve family platters So if you go with a lot of people that's your choice!!! Delicious!!! It's really worth trying!!!

Best BBQ in Las Vegas

By Chowell1234 |

Had lunch on my own. Tried Famous Dave's base on TA reviews. They were spot on. The burnt tips are amazing. Had the St Louis ribs and burnt tip combo. The St Louis ribs are some of the best I have had. Service excellent. Nice atmosphere. Does not feel like a chain. Highly recommend. For excellent BBQ. You won't find better, and I have been coming to Las Vegas for 40 years.

Not very good

By roma2srs |

I am not a big fan of barbeque but my husband wanted to go so we did. When we walked in the hostess said there would be about a 20 minute wait although there were plenty of empty tables. When we asked we were told that they did not think they would be so busy and therefore did not have enough staff. The food was less than OK and I thought it was expensive. We had been there years ago and now I know why we hadn't gone back. Probably won't go back again.

F minus, no longer edible food, never again.

By Craig K |

We have been going to Famous Dave's for many many years. On Sunday Nov 25, 2018 the food was disgusting - $50+ wasted. For years I have gotten the delicious "burnt ends" but this time they were just little square cubes of tough meat not even edible. My wife's "rib tips" order was nothing but gristle and bone and very little meat. What went wrong Dave? Now you are famous for garbage. We will never go there again. $50+ for garbage.

Excellent BBQ in Las Vegas

By Clemsonpilot |

Being from South Carolina, I have had some good BBQ...this was excellent! We shared the Feast for Two and it was plenty of food. They have a great selection of BBQ sauces including a mustard based one. We will definitely be going back.

Delicious and some left over

By Mike G |

This was my first visit to any of the Dave's Bar-B-Que restaurants and I don't mind admitting that it was a pleasure. My brother recommended it to me and our sister, so the three of us went together. We ordered the combination platter that is said to feed 3+. We were satisfied with the portions and that some of the vittles were left over for my brother to take home with us. Our visit was a late lunch, so there were few customers. The service was good, but the food was better.

Great food

By mail4jenk |

I stopped going to Famous Dave's a couple of years ago because the quality of food was no longer good. I was pleasantly surprised when I went here this week. Food was good, portions were huge. They remodeled and the place looks amazing.

Many taste buds touched with all mouth watering ribs!

By lori w |

Great laid back atmosphere. Almost feels like you're on a picnic. They have great ribs and many selections of different sauces to choose from. I highly recommend to try Famous Dave's.

Service Great but the Food was So-So

By mrliterature |

We stopped here for dinner, hoping for some wonderful barbeque. The service was terrific, but the food was spotty. I ordered the St. Louis ribs and meat (pork) and the ribs were far more fat than they were meat. The fries were not tasty, at all, and I ended up leaving them. On the other hand, the corn bread muffin was top notch, as was the drink I ordered. I might go back, but I'd definitely order something different, or maybe I won't go back at all.

More food on plate would be nice

By Dmknlv J |

Okay the service was great, but the food you received for the prices asked on the menu was disappointing, and the side orders are served in very small cups. 2 years ago the food was more. Especially a barbeque joint where the food should be more. Decorations were great. Save your mouth and do not order boneless chicken barbeque

Not the place to go for good drinks but the food is great

By BeachLuvR713 |

Walking distance from the Courtyard Summerlin. Food was great, lots of selection, but drinks were overpriced and terribly watered down.

SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

By LasVegasKaren |

Five of us from work decided to go to Famous Dave's for lunch. It was obvious we were all from the same company, due to our uniforms, and since it was lunchtime, we probably were expected back from lunch within a very reasonable amount of time. We were seated promptly, and that's the last "good" comment I can give. Our server took quite a while to take our drink orders (we all wanted just water), and took a long time to bring us the five glasses of water! We all placed our orders, three were just as shown on the menu; I ordered a simple baked potato with just barbecued chicken on it; the other order was a salad, but he asked for certain items to not be put on the salad due to dietary restrictions, and also asked if they had pickles, as he wanted some on the salad. And then we waited, and waited, and waited. AND WAITED! Our server didn't come back to explain the delay or ask if we needed our drinks refilled. Finally, the three "on the menu" items came out, but nothing was said about why the salad or baked potato had not come out. We told the three to go ahead and eat while their food was hot (but I was later told the catfish came out cold, no surprise considering how long it took for the server to bring those three items out!). Eventually my potato arrived (and I made a comment about "FINALLY!" to her, but got not even an acknowledgement of my comment) and my co-worker's salad arrived. We were long past our allotted lunch time, so we started eating quickly (thankfully one of the five was our boss, so we didn't get in trouble for being gone such a long time...) Again, our server didn't make any apologies about how long it took for our meals to be served, and didn't ask about refilling our waters, or if there was anything else we needed. A manager came out and was walking around greeting the tables, and when he arrived at ours, we told him exactly how bad an experience we had been having, how the food was cold, how it took forever for the salad and potato to arrive. He actually told my co-worker that it took longer for the salad because he had requested pickles on the salad and they had to find something to open the pickle can with! I couldn't believe that excuse - and told him they could have brought out the salad in a timely fashion and THEN brought out the pickles once the can was opened! If the restaurant had been packed, I could have overlooked the time it took for our food to arrive, but there were not a lot of guests dining while we were there. There was simply no good excuse for what we experienced! The manager took 50% off our bill, but considering all that we told him was wrong, the entire bill should have been comped. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!! The server, the slow service, the food being not up to par, and the explanation of having to look for something to open the pickle can... well, I can guarantee they will not see the five of us dining there again.

Great BBQ food

By A199 |

Visited here last year when i was on holiday, what great tasting food served here, great portion sizes and plenty to take home, cant wait to return

Great bar-b-que

By sstryker |

We really enjoyed the food here. The service was also good but the wait was long. Ribs were the best thing on the menu for me. The beef brisket had too much fat for my tastes but my husband enjoyed it. The "Wilber beans" were great as well as the garlic mashed potatoes.

caught lying

By Paul P |

I was served with a meal that was stale, cold, and dry. The waitress tried to make excuses, but my guest and I were served the same meal, so they couldn't deny the observation. The manager offered to replace the plate, but why would I take another meal from the same kitchen that thought the first plate was ok to serve. They clearly served a meal that had been sitting for a long period of time, and denied they were doing it. I withed I could talk to the owner, because I know they don't know this took place. For every one complaint that is sighted, there are at least a dozen that are disappointed, but walk out without saying anything, but never go back.

Ribs and brisket.

By jeep146 |

I ordered half a slab of ribs and brisket. The ribs were tender and almost fell off the bone. The brisket was good and had a generous portion on my plate. My sides were coleslaw and potatoe salad with a corn bread muffin. It was really good. No problems, had a great lunch.

Was good food, but the place was dirty!

By Char D |

Tasty food, but the overall place was dirty and could use a good cleaning, don't think they ever clean their menus, yuck.

Great Food

By Theresa D |

Went to Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que for the first time with some friends who frequent this restaurant frequently. The ribs were very meaty, the corn on the cob cooked just right. The cornbread was the best I ever tested and the nachos were super especially with the brisket mixed in. The entire experience was wonderful and I would recommend this establishment to anyone who craves great ribs, friendly service and a clean environment.

Excellent Bar-B-Que

By Edward M |

Famous Dave's on Craig Rd. and Losee in N L V has the best wait staff. The Server loves her job. The food quality is top of the line, prepared well and plated well. The quantity is abundant. The specials are right up there with the industry.

A fantastic bbq Restaurant

By Alan L |

Great food for big or small appetites. Consider sharing. Lots of sauce or none at all. Non at all. Great bbq, Great sides. More than ample portions. Bring the kids or come alone . Nice dining room and semi secluded bar. A must for weary Vegas travelers,

Dan those ribs are good

By Paul H |

Well I had half a rack of ribs, very delicious. And then I had the bread pudding for desert mmmm so good.

Finger Lickin', Come Back Everyday Good BBQ

By jkm |

Famous Dave's was a favorite of my boyfriend, and I was quite excited to see what the excitement was about. The restaurant is spacious with booths and family dining tables tastefully decorated in a hunting motif. The wooden tables and walls gives for a nice ambiance for good eatin'! Like most bbq restaurants you have more options than you can choose from, for me it's always the 2 meat with 2 sides. It's necessary for me to always have one of the meat choices be ribs. I love ribs. Pork and beef alike, I don't discriminate when it comes to red meat. I am a believer. The first thing to come to the table was their famous bread pudding.. As my boyfriend MUST always eat dessert first, I have the opportunity to know if I need to leave room for my own after dinner. The bread pudding is so good that he won't order any other option. The bowl it's served in could hold a King size portion of linguini pasta. The dessert itself is beautiful, the way it glistens it what looks like candied pecans and fun juice. Slipping down the side was a nice size scoop of old fashion vanilla ice cream; which you need. This dessert isn't for someone who can not appreciate sugar. It was pretty dang good, I could only handle a bite, but my photo will show you that was not the case for my boyfriend. I ordered ribs and a hot link with a side of green beans (small bacon pieces thru out), spicy macaroni and cheese, then of course I paid the extra for the loaded baked potato. Because what's BBQ without a baked potato? It came with a delightfully sweet corn bread muffin and a thick slice of white bread. Famous Dave's have a few sauce options on the table and they definitely have more variety then most. I tend to like the more spicy of the sauces. The ribs though... Wow.. I was very impressed by the cut of meat. It started a conversation, and a failed Google search attempt, to find out where they purchase their meat. That good. The rib was seasoned slightly leaving a ton of room for me to taste the beautiful taste of meat. It was thick and meaty.. It was purrfect. I highly recommend Famous Dave's for a couple, group of friends, or family. You can't go wrong. It's good enough to keep the table quiet, while everyone licks and devours what fun deliciousness is in front of them. By the way, their was a separate bar area that looked fully stocked with top shelf liquor and happy partons.

Excellent Food

By kareni1946 |

Menu is moderately prices. Husband's favorite are the burnt ends, I enjoyed the fish dinner as I'm not big on bbq sauces. Adequate disability parking and service was good.

Waited Forever for our Food

By YanksAbroad |

The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Worst part was waiting 45 minutes before getting the appetizer! They'll never get my business again.

Sick

By R2vegas |

Had bbq chicken dinner on a Sunday evening, by Monday mid-morning severe cramps, nausea and fever which continued for several days. Reported to the chain who referred me to an insurance company which as predicted deny responsibility. A quick check of health department website shows their last inspection reveals problems. Think twice before you set foot in this place.

Just Average

By Suefranss |

My husband enjoys this restaurant more than I do. I find the ribs to be too fatty, and the sauces to be very average. The service is less-than-average, with the young waitstaff paying more attention to each other than their customers.

Atmosphere...???

By Webmandan |

We have loved Dave's for YEARS... However, we were SO BUMMED to see the decor change.. Why...??? The restaurant NO LONGER has any atmosphere... Once again, still great food, but no longer a place I want to visit...

Best Barbecue

By Bridgetpianos |

I love their Barbecue ribs and Chicken. They have happy hour everyday and the Margaritas are huge. Service is fast and the server was so attentive.

great dessert

By krystalw629 |

we always have our food to go but the to go staff is awesome. they were very attentive when it came to us placing a order and picking up.

Go to give them props!

By Danny_OI812 |

Flat out great BBQ ribs. Service was prompt and courteous. Location was easy to find with lots of parking. There's a lot to choose from on the menu, but I came for the ribs. It's a very nice and interesting looking place on the inside, lots of "old time" stuff decorating the walls. Ribs were meaty, not fatty, and were tasty. Corn on the cobb was not mushy and the beans were ok. I'll be back!

Bare Basics BBQ

By Miranda C |

We were hungry and just needed to stop and eat and BBQ sounded good. We have been at the one in Chandler years ago and were not impressed then. Today I went in as a gluten free allergen. They were not able to accommodate me. I asked for salad and the mixed meat plate without the sauce and explained I was gf. The salad came with croutons, which I promptly sent back. The BBQ platter came served on slices of bread and topped with sauce. Again I sent it back. There was no apology from the manager and no comps for the errors. This is definitely not the place to go to if you have food allergies.

What an amazing place

By Cindy A |

We went to this restaurant with friends. I had the Texas Beef Brisket. It was absolutely wonderful. I can't say much about the fries but the apples were very tasty. Service was great even though we only had one server for 15 people.

Been Coming For Years , But Not Anymore !

By TipsFromABellman |

I have been coming to Famous Dave's for years and especially this location . Unfortunately the quality has gone down and down . Ever since they changed the decor from the log cabin theme to the more modern look , the food and everything has gone downhill . Last night was the final straw . My son , his new wife , and myself came here for dinner and I just can't believe all the problems we had . She had never been and was excited to go and of course left very displeased as we were . The restaurant was just over half full , but we were seated immediately . We got there about 4 o'clock to beat the dinner rush and we didn't eat breakfast or lunch so we were hungry . My son ordered the breaded chicken sandwich and when he got it , it was a grilled chicken sandwich . He was so hungry he decided to eat it instead of waiting another 20 minutes to get another sandwich and we already had our food . His wife and I both got a 2 meat plate . I got pulled pork and jalapeno hot link with wilbur beans , mashed potatoes , and a cornbread muffin . She got the pulled pork also , brisket , wilbur beans , mac & cheese , and they forgot here cornbread muffin . I noticed it after the waitress left and told her the next time I saw her , so she did bring right away . Now our food . My jalapeno hot link and her brisket were both kind of hard and burnt at one end , like they were cooked before and they threw on a grill to reheat . Neither tasted fresh , for all I know it could have been left over from dinner from yesterday ! Both of us got the pulled pork and they gave us a small amount like I would say was maybe a lunch special amount , but we were here for dinner . Lunch stops at 3 pm and we got here at 4 pm . It was also not as good as usual . I asked for the Georgia Mustard Bbq sauce since they brought us the tray with 3 sauces and keptcup , but it wasn't in the tray . It had the Devil Spit , Sweet and Zesty , and Rich & Sassy . She told me they don't carry it anymore . My favorite sauce for the pulled pork was the Pineapple Rage and they didn't put it on the table , you would have to ask for it . They had it in packets for takeout for a while . They got rid of that sauce a few years ago . My son and I used to come here for lunch sometimes for the burgers . They had a Angus Patty with Brisket in the patty that you paid like an extra dollar or two for and it was the best ! They got rid of that a few years ago and only have the regular Angus Patty . So , we don't get the burgers anymore . I used to get the pork ribs years ago , but after having bad luck with them tasting like they had been boiled or sitting in water to keep them warm or something , I quit ordering the ribs . Our meal was over $60 and not even worth half of that ! The only thing I can say is out of all of Vegas , the Wilbur Beans are still my favorite beans of any Bbq restaurant in Vegas and I have been to sooo many over the years . I sometimes order a double order . Everytime we came here , we always had to ask for a to go box , not this time . The portions were so small . I guess they are trying to make up for loss of revenue due to Covid . Our waitress and the staff also didn't seem to be as friendly as before , like we were accustomed to here . Usually a manager would come around asking how everything was , but not this time . I waitress wasn't rude or anything , just not very personable . I have pictures of years ago when two of the waitresses took pictures with my son for his birthday and he was blushing . I know with Covid restrictions you wouldn't do that now , but they have always been so friendly and interactive with the customers . We have decided we won't be coming back . It's just not worth it when we can get better Q for the same price . Of course not one Bbq place is the best for everything , but you learn what to get at each place . The only reason I would stop here now is to get the Wilbur Beans to take home . It is not just this location either . We have eaten at the 215 and West Flamingo location too which I see is now closed .

Dinner close to the hotel.

Wow, this is by far one of the best places for smoked and bar-b-qued meat. It was really worth going to dinner at.

Best ribs in Vegas!

By SinCity4me |

Famous Dave's is my favorite place to eat. I've eaten here countless times and have never been dissapointed. They have won several national awards for their fantastic ribs plus winning Best of Las Vegas. The atmosphere is great, service always friendly and quick. Besides the ribs the Georgia chopped pork is a favorite of many. When my brother visits from Florida he always insist we go to Famous Daves.

The best brisket I have ever had in a restaurant!

By lvpatty |

I have never had brisket that melts in your mouth the way it does at Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que! They don't have much on the gluten free side, however, as long as I never tire of their brisket, who cares! Also love their coleslaw. Has the tangy taste of horseradish and I love it!

Excellent BBQ

By S D |

Lovely family restaurant with wholesome servings centred around the BBQ Ribs. Was suggested to partake of the BBQ platter which included ribs, chicken, biscuits, sweet corn and was scrumptious. Service was well meaning but a bit chaotic.

Great BBQ, loved it

By toto_iteso |

First visit here. When visiting Las Vegas, we always eat either in the casinos or at restaurants along the strip. This time we wanted to visit a place were locals dine. Place was clean, well decorated (lice a lodge cabin), nice and attentive servers. We ordered a feast combo for 2 adults and 2 kids, which included ribs, brisket, chicken, corn, beans, coleslaw, corn bread, plenty of food. Ribs were very soft and delicious. Our kids loved it. Definitely will return.

Great BBQ off the strip

By Carl S |

Fantastic place, great food and excellent service. Only $20 taxi ride from the strip and well worth the ride out!

Double dose of Daves

By Hendersoned |

My son loves BBQ so we went here for his birthday. The service was cheerful and pretty quick. The BBQ pork is great, BBQ chicken was pretty good, the Mac and cheese is fair, corn muffins are wonderful. The next night I had daves catering at work, again the pork is yummy, Mac and cheese was cold (cools quickly). Over all pretty go for a chain, very consistent between locations.

New Years Eve Take Out

By Brianna H |

Placed an order at 1pm for a “Family Feast” and ordered another half dozen muffins with another large order of spicey Mac and Cheese. When I called to place the order I told them that I would be picking it up at 5pm they said it would take about 45 mins . When I get there at 4:57 they tell me that my order is not ready and there were at least 6 people still waiting for their food as well . Others that would get there who had ordered their food “1” hour ago with a much bigger order then mine had their food waiting for them as soon as they walked in . I waited at least one hour for my meal very disappointed in not only the fact that I ordered hours ago and my food is still not ready , but the manager did absolutely nothing did not even offer a discount nothing he just gave me a card to call .. I still paid for my meal after waiting and very upset I will not be coming back to Famous Daves or atleast this location ever again .

Great for team dinners!

By AimeeLally |

My son's soccer team had lunch there today and I can't believe how well they handled our large party. The service was fantastic! The food was even better! Best BBQ I've had in a while!

great wait staff

By james c |

Food at Dave's is the same wherever you go. Wait staff makes the difference. Very good here. Would eat here again.

Yummy Yummy

By Les M |

Highly recommended if you are in Summerlin which is north of the Strip. Very tasty food...ribs and smoked meats....if you are a vegetarian eat somewhere else

BBQ Platter.

Never again in Vegas!

By Sherry R |

I have eaten at famous Dave’s in Wisconsin but this was awful! It was like going to a cafeteria with the food sitting out “warming “for hours. My parents were served meat with so much fat unlike any time we have been to famous Dave’s before. Such disappointment. I suggest find some place else!

BBQ in Vegas Famous Dave's a must

By LoriWilk |

There's a reason why Famous Daves has won so many awards for BBQ. The food is always consistenty great and the servers are all attentive. We've also had some of the best Margaritas at their bar. Famous Daves is not on the Vegas strip but fortunately he's added more locations around the city including one restaurant in Henderson near the Galleria Mall on Sunset Drive, another not far from I-15 or from the I-215 Expressway and Blue Diamond and another location west on the I-215 not from from Summerlin. Famous Daves is always busy and that's a good sign.We love Famous Daves combination dinner platters which allow us to try a variety of items on the menu not just one thing. On the side we are fans of Drunkin apples and most of all their other sides. We look forward to our meals at Famous Daves. It's not cheap, but it's not expensive

Good BBQ, and large portions

By Ian89129 |

The wife & I go here at least monthly. We usually order the Feast for One, and share it (we can't finish it). It comes with ribs (ask for center cut), chicken, brisket, cole slaw, beans, and a corn muffin. My wife also likes the catfish fingers. The rib tips are worth getting (especially at happy hour for cheap).

Good food, horrible seats

By swissami19 |

Went to Famous Dave‘s for dinner and liked the food, the sauces, and the service. The seats at the booths, however, were horrible. Years ago the springs in the seats might have worked, but now they are a pain, and you feel very small, having a hard time looking over the table...

Just Love my BBQ!

By bmxmom38 |

The food is delicious, and very big portions, Many choices - bbq pork, brisket, ribs, and chicken. They have the best homemade cornbread too. I would definitely go here on a date or with the family.

Great BBQ in Vegas

By rick c c |

Great BBQ with a great atmosphere. The rub on the ribs was perfect! Very tasty and not too spicy, I didn't even need to add the BBQ sauce.

Great atmosphere

By Dave F |

The place was a rockin when we arrived it was packed the service was awesome the food even better. The staff was super friendly and made sure we enjoyed our food.

Great BBQ spot! Worth the trip

By Jmiller1232022 |

I'm a vegas local and even though this is a chain restaraunt. It's soo good. The ribs are the best. The chicken is good. And even the sides hit the spot. The prices are not super cheap but reasonable. I'd say about $15 to $20 dollars a plate for a good helping of food the smoking of the meat makes the difference . If your visiting vegas and your hungry and don't want to break the bank on the strip, try this place it will hit the spot

Good food and good service

By Emerald1125 |

This location is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. The food is good and there are several varieties of BBQ sauce available in squeeze bottles on each table. The service was good and a manager stopped by our table to check on us; in particular the server Mary did an outstanding job.

Love the ribs

By icarranza1951 |

Famous Dave’s is walking distance from hotel. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. Really enjoyed my weekend.

Tasty but had a few issues

By Charlene351 |

Came here to meet family and enjoy some good BBQ. We ordered the family style meal in the trash can lid of All-American BBQ for $60. The ribs were great, the brisket very tough, chicken good, beans, rice, corn great. Our waitress was slow to getting back to us with a request and we waited and waited to get the bill. The ambience is fun but not overly excited about the place when there are so many other options. The were good, but not great as I had hoped. BBQ is hard to screw up.

AWESOME SERVER JESSICA

By Debbie F |

Great food, Jessica my server remembered my order and a month has passed since my last visit. Awesome customer service.

BEST EVER!

By Ed and Margie C |

OMG!!! If you love BBQ then this is where you want to go. We tried the sampler plate that had a little bit of everything on it and it was fantastic. The brisket is by far the best we have ever eaten. It is so tender and moist. Our grandson who is 14 and a big eater suggested that the 3 of us get the sampler plate. He said we would not be able to eat it all. He was right. Guess who got to take the leftovers home???? If you like banana's try their banana pudding with vanilla wafers.

Good eats!

By J M |

Our first visit to this location; we were not disappointed. Great food and a fair price. If you love BBQ beef or pork, this is a "must try".

What?

By BRIAN C |

This bqq is the worst in Vegas all of the meat they serve is dry covered in sauce the service is fine but just like pizza you need to go east to get real bqq like Dave said it himself he is a business man with an apron on selling you something other then real bqq.

Terrible experience

By Emerald1125 |

I ordered the one meat platter online, and picked up in person. I requested mashed potatoes, but I got baked beans. The second side was supposed to be coleslaw, but the second side was missing completely. Do employees not know that these meals should have two sides? I requested and paid for extra corn muffins, but they were missing completely. Do employees not double check to-go orders? The receipt stapled to the bag was formatted in such a way that my phone number was cut off. If an employee or delivery driver wanted to call me about the order, they would not have been able to do so. The receipt also was very difficult to read. A company as large as Famous Dave's should be able to buy a machine that produces legible receipts.

Indiana traveler

By kellysR617AA |

Really enjoy going to Famous Dave's for evening meal. Great food and value. Brisket, Ribs, and cornbread are awesome. Atmosphere is relaxing and not overly loud. I feel like I'm on a picnic lunch.

Nothing Special.

By runner24 |

We stopped in for lunch when in the area recently. Interesting and clean place but we thought the food was average. Warm but the ribs seemed to be over cooked. My wife had a salad and enjoyed. To us, it didn't live up to the hype.

Great food

By SoCalGuy01 |

Food was good and plentiful. Service was good and the people were friendly. Must try the ribs, they were awesome!

Good lunch food

By AJC_travlers |

Ate lunch here. The sandwich was reasonably priced and very tasty and the service was very good. The bathroom didn't smell very clean.

The Beef Brisket is Outstanding along with Great Friendly Service!!!

By Mohats |

Had a Groupon for this Restaurant. They give you large portions. We had the Beef Brisket with Sides and Corn Bread Muffin. The Beef Brisket is so Tender. We will definitely go back for more. They have Happy Hour Specials with a few Appetizers to try. Enjoyed their Mac & Cheese and Sweet Corn on the side. The Service is Amazing. We ate in the Bar Area. Their Burgers are great too.

Great BBQ

By ELI C |

If you want some great BBQ for cheap and a plate full of food this is the place to go. They have it all and the ribs are great!

best burger

By rckhrs23 |

I am not a big burger fan unless is is Famous Dave special burger with jalpano bacon, pork BBQ and cheese. It is huge and the burger is quality ground beef. I have been to a couple locations and each is decorated differently in a 1950/1960 nostalgia theme. Fun to look at. A little louid as it is a family place.

Fatty Meat, small portions

By Yvonne A |

Used to be such a good place! Now tiny portions, meat super fatty, cups of broccoli and mashed potatoes not like before when you got stocks of broccoli and heaps of tators. So dissapointing! Also the waitress seemed uninterested at best. Won't be back unless free and even then may not bother. So 😢!

Great Taste, Ok Service, Small Portions

By MevrouwA |

I popped in here with my 3 year old son and 6 month old daughter. There was no "host or hostess" per se but there was just the waitstaff. My son is extremely fidgety and so I always put him in a highchair still so he does not run around bothering everyone. I was greeted by a blonde older woman and there was another mother with a double stroller coming out and she said I should take her table as it was most convenient. The blonde waitress simply told me, after placing the high chair at another table, "If you want it you will have to wait" and walked away leaving the highchair where it was. I then just started moving chairs and manoeuvring the stroller around to get to a table between the one I wanted, which was left dirty for about 20 minutes, and the one I got. Our waiter was nice enough and came over flustered and quickly took our order. He had recommended to me the lunch special of "two choices and a side" and recommended the ribs and the brisket, which I was going to choose. My son ate the "chicken tenders". I must say my son's meal was larger than mine. I got TWO ribs and about 4 slices of brisket. I am not a huge eater but this was so not filling I was really shocked. As most people know ribs notoriously have little meat on them for a lot of taste and a lot of work to eat but to get two was like getting nothing and a few pieces of brisket is not filling. I also got my coleslaw which was not the largest portion. The food was good but I would go back when I really was not hungry or order something like a rack of ribs if I were to go back again.

Okay

By sunni014 |

Was reccomended by hotel attendant. Was okay, the waitress was not very attentive. No drink refills. The food was okay. Was not impressed by the service or the food. I would probably give them a second chance if I am in the area again. For a Saturday night they were not busy at all.

Beyond my expectations!

By mmvsfp |

My husband and I was taken here for dinner and it was not what we expected. It was better than we expected! First of all, we arrived 10 minutes to closing and the server still told us to come in, sit down and order...and not to rush either. I had the salmon...omg...it tasted so good. My husband had a mix platter of ribs, chicken, wings, etc. It was so big that he could not finish. He took the remainder to our resort for later. This is a must try!

Great food!

By Marcia695 |

If you like barbecue, Famous Dave's is your place. I had the sausage and it was delicious. The portions are large. The server was very friendly.

Wedding feast

By Helomech1969 |

First time at this restaurant. I like good BBQ. I had the beef brisket and it was good. Not bad but not excellent. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Great Food and service

By alanlubin |

They opened the door to greet us and seated us quickly. Piper was our server and was completely accurate , allowing us to adapt the menu to meet our wants and needs. Her suggestions were excellent. The food was top notch. Not drowned in sauce ( there were six different sauce choices on the table as well). Best ribs and brisket I have eaten. Inexpensive too.

Melt In Your Mouth Ribs

By dougd540 |

Wow, great ribs. My wife had BBQ Pork sandwich that was excellent as well. Service was ok but not that attentive. Menus, food and drink, and the bill. No checking to see how things are (maybe already knows how good the food is).

First visit, look forward to going back.

By Refthimjrttu |

This was my first visit to Famous Dave's BBQ in Henderson, NV (just outside Vegas) and was a pleasant surprise. The staff was wonderful and very attentive and the food was quite yummy! I had the two meat combo with Ribs and brisket. It was not the best ribs and brisket I've ever had, but it was still good. What I love about this place was the BBQ sauce, the beans, and the Corn bread muffin. I point these out as I wasn't expecting much from these but was greatly surprised by the flavor of each. They had 5 different BBQ sauces and I found mixing the Devil's Spit with the Sweet and Zesty perfect! It added a tad of a bite to the sweetness...yummmmm. On the beans, I didn't think I would like them as I tend to like the more thicker BBQ style baked beans but these were very tasty! And the corn bread muffin, I loved the sweetness! I don't tend to eat a lot of corn bread, but I ate all of it at Famous Dave's! My only real complaint about this place is quit being stingy with the sides! Those tiny bowls just don't do any justice.

Great BBQ

By masfatninja |

I've had great BBQ from many places in many states but as far as main stream BBQ goes this place takes the cake. I personally suggest using the Georgia mustard hot sauce on whatever you get and you can't go wrong at this place so pick anything and you'll enjoy it.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO FAMOUS DAVES?

By richard c |

arrived a 5:00 pm, had one waitress in our room with 6 tables working, waited near 10 min for service, , wish the food was as good as the waitress, order large plater for one, brisket was dry, frys were hard and cool, ribs great and corn muffin ok, dirty menus, sticky table and seats, needs a good cleaning, would need a good reason to go back

Great food

By opal_1001 |

We found Famous Dave's in Las Vegas and were very excited. Our local Famous Dave;s had closed a few years ago and we miss that restaurant. This location did not dissapoint. Great food, great atmosphere all at reasonable prices.

Large portions, great service

By Kate S |

We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowded. We were taken to a booth straight away (given the choice of booth or table). Our waitress was very friendly and very fast to take our drinks order and then gave us the appropriate amount of time to choose our food order. When the food arrived (quickly) the portions were huge. I couldn't finish all mine so I asked for a take out box, which was provided. There were 2 of us and we had starters and mains for only $50. Excellent value and I would definitely go again.

Excellent meal

By Wolfman1953 |

Excellent meal for a decent price. Famous Dave's served a good portion of very good food. Service was very good.

FANtastic!!!

By Bahkate |

Friends and I visited the Famous Dave's in Las Vegas and what a super experience. The inside decor is antique/western interesting. But My Oh My, the food. We shared the All American BBQ feast for 3 or 4 and everything on this enormous tray was delish!. Chicken, Ribs, Brisket, 'Wilbur' fries, corn on the cob, beans, slaw and corn bread muffins. There wasn't even anything left for a 'doggie bag'. Eight bottles of BBQ sauce on the table to try on the homemade fries brought to your table for starters. Then pick the sauces you like for your food. And the prices were very reasonable. Can't wait to go again.

Uniformly good barbecue throughout the chain!

By literaturelover888 |

I was in Las Vegas for a week-end and took friends out for lunch. I asked them for a suggestion and was pleasantly surprised to learn that Dave's has franchises in Nevada (I eat at the Peoria, AZ location at least once a week). The lunch menu (you have to ask for it) is a bargain -- you get two meats, a side (I really like the cole slaw) and a muffin for less than $10! I highly recommend the rib ends and the roasted (not BBQ) chicken. If you're a dessert eater, all three are first-rate. While the Kahlua brownie sounds like the easy choice, I recently discovered that the bread pudding is even better. This is not a gourmet restaurant, but you will have a hard time getting more value from your dining dollar. Just as is the case at home the employees here seem to really enjoy their jobs and the service is very good.

Ultimate burger

By TW66 |

They call it the Ultimate burger and that is no exaggeration, this is the ultimate burger. Pork in 3 ways, bacon, burger and as brisket.

Good Bar-b-Que

By B. Gail W |

In November 2013, I gave my party in Las Vegas. One of the places I found group friend was this business. I made reservations to bring 40 of my invited guest! The table was ready when the bus arrived! The server had an excellent attitude and made my guest feel appreciated! The food was plentiful and good! They offered a variety of sauces for your meats. The side dishes were good. I have returned June 2014 with my spouse and the food is was still good..

Great food!

By Gareth N |

When I go back to Vegas this will be the first place I eat at ! Food was massive and hot, every thing done right. On a side note I left my phone on the table and the staff kept it for me! Phew lol.

Good BBQ

By JackieR3672 |

Famous Dave's is consistently good for food quality and value. The ribs are great every time. The plain mac n cheese was a little soupy this time, but the flavor is good. The country roasted chicken was tasty and a healthy food choice. We'll visit Famous Dave's again in LV or other cities where it is located.

Not so good this time....

By lvpatty |

On a return trip to Famous Dave's, it was really not very good at all. I ordered brisket and it was pretty dry. Can't say if it was overcooked or reheated (it was burned around the edges). On our previous visit the brisket was outstanding, don't know what happened! The coleslaw did not even have a hint of horseradish, which is why I used to love their coleslaw in the first place! Total disappointment this time!

bar-b-que

By Yasser T |

The restaurant has a good atmosphere and our server was very competent and friendly. Had very good starters and BBQ steak, and chicken no place for desert left :-) Would clearly go again next time when we are in Vegas

Simply the best!

By JK S |

Don't even think about it.... go for the feast. For 2 or 4 depending on your group size. You get a big assortment of food you'll die for. We pick the ribs, chicken, brisket, and sides. If you want to change it around, simply ask your server. They pretty much will give you any combo you want without extra charge.

Famous!

By PetersCalgary |

we always swing by when we are in Vegas, the brisket is always a hit, this time we also got the nacho's they were also a big hit. We were there right at lunch, fast efficient, clean, cool and always tasty

Great place for barbecue - especially the ribs

By Fields J |

Great prices excellent ribs - they have a sample platter for one that is a whole lot to eat with plenty of choices - recommend the desserts as well

Disappointed at Dave's

By Stephen M |

It seems that over the past few months, the quality of the meats has deteriorated! Today was my final visit to the Famous Dave's on Rainbow Blvd, and probably also my final visit to ANY AND ALL Famous Dave's! We went for a late lunch, and I had the Brisket, my wife had the Barbecued Chicken. The Brisket was absolutely, positively, from yesterday! It was dry, grainy, and definitely not cooked fresh today! No matter how much barbecue sauce I put on it, the dry taste could not be covered up. My wife's Barbecue Chicken was also very dry, tasteless and positively, positively, was from yesterday as well. I questioned our server and made my observation known, and she just stood there mute. I guess the moral to the story at Dave's is to NOT go before the dinner hour, because the early diners have to finish yesterday's meats before they bust out the fresh stuff!

Don’t eat here

By Curiosity18368513990 |

Wow lousy food and service. These people must want bankruptcy protection and are screwing people to get there. DO NOT EAT HERE! They must be paying for people to give good reviews. This food is Berkeley edible!

Yum

By jbleany |

the food was delicious and the service was prompt and curious. We have eaten at this chain in other areas. Wish the portions and options were the same. The sides were very small at this restraunt and the bbq chips were free at another facility but had to be purchased at this one.

Very tasty barbecue

By Clara F |

Barbecue was wonderful (chicken, brisket, ribs) and so were the potatos and corn bread. We got the barbecue platter for one, which was more than enough food for 2 people. We even took some back to our condo. Service is also very fast.

Yummy

Great place in Vegas for BBQ. Wife and I stopped here for lunch. It was great, we will eat here again when we return to Vegas!

Off the beaten path in Vegas, Great BBQ, Friendly staff, portions were huge! My son had never had Burnt Ends before, and now understands :) My wife and I had the two for $25 special, what an outrageous bargain...by the time our bread pudding got there we were absolutely stuffed! Will be seeking Famous Dave's out from now on when we travel down this direction.

great food at a good price.

just like to thank the staff at daves for staying open past closing time for 16 of us. It was some tasty ribs and beef brisket everyone in our party was really happy with the food. Definitely going back when I'm next in Vegas.

Wonderful BBQ!

Food and service are always very good---atmosphere is fun and comfortable for families. Ribs are amazing. Bread pudding is the best ever. The lunch menu is very affordable. This is one of our favorite places. Try it!

Granddaughter's request

After a day spent sorting and packing, preparing to move to our new home, my granddaughter asked to eat at Famous Dave's, which rather surprised me, as she rarely eats meat. Our party of five received prompt service and tasty food.

BAR B QUE to die for

Excellent food and some items that you do not often see. We had totally different items and both were very satisfied.

Excellent. Authentic BBQ food without the 'chain' feel.

I love BBQ food, especially American style, slow-cooked ribs and pork. Having scanned trip advisor prior to travelling, it seemed that despite Las Vegas' vastness, you either had to live it up on the strip (with associated prices & queues) or ear from a stall on the street. Fine by me, not so great with a family in tow. Dave's is a few mile off the strip, but no more than 15 minutes drive even in traffic. No waiting when we arrived, straight to our table. It has a really nice feel inside, like I say - not like a chain restaurant at all. We were served promptly and very enthusiastically by our server who enquired where we were from and seemed genuinely interested in us. Drinks were the typical fare for the US, but I had possibly the best raspberry iced tea I've ever had. The food - all around it was excellent. My son had the children's ribs (obviously not the ribs of children, just a smaller portion of pork ribs) - they were wonderfully tender, well smoked and very meaty. Fantastic value at $6 if I remember correctly. My daughter and wife both had slow cooked pulled pork sandwiches. They were *packed* with meat and nice and hot when served. I went for a combo of pork & brisket (all the meals are served with fries etc.), again super tender and with a really nice smoke. Hard to fault any of the meat we had, which surely is what these places are all about! Prices are very reasonable, but factor in a taxi if you have no car to get from the strip, then it may not seem such good value. If I had to make any criticism at all (and not really the fault of Dave's) - is that I got the 'air-con seat'.... Again. It seems a tradition in our family that whenever we eat out I sit in the seat that has the direct air-con blowing down my neck. Great for the first 5 minutes, uncomfortable after 45 minutes.

Very Good Grub

Lunch at Famous Dave's was pretty darn good. The Burnt Ends sandwich and the baked beans were very good. The bun was fresh and fries were also very good. I like spicy stuff like jalapeno pepper sauce, Anaheim chili pepper sauce and even a sauce made with Scotch Bonnets (Habanero) on occasion. The choices of sauces at Famous Dave’s range from sweet and tangy to insanely hot. When they say “insanely hot” they were not kidding. It brought tears to my eyes and sweat to my brow. Luckily, I only put a little bit on a corner and I had to wipe most of that off. I have to try the ribs. They looks quite good too.

Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que on 2630 E Craig Road Las Vegas Nevada

We had dinner at Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que on 2630 E Craig Road Las Vegas Nevada. Our server was Benito. The ordering was easy, the food was delicious and it arrived quickly and was correct. One of us had the beef brisket with grilled pineapple steaks and cole slaw and one of us had the potato bacon soup. The entree came with a corn meal muffin. The soup eater got some of the brisket and one of the two grilled pineapple steaks and half of the corn meal muffin. The food was great. We will go back there soon.

My family and i eat here about once a month or so but this time last time was jusst awful. Our server was super slow and unattentive. The food was barely average - Noramlly i really like the burnt ends but this night they were fatty and yucky. We ordered some of the chips (the ones that used to be for free) and you get a super small bowl for $3 what a rip off. It will be awhile before we try again,,,,,,

Awesome BBQ!

Was treated to lunch at this restaurant. Their BBQ ribs are superb and cooked to perfection! Our waiter told us their secret to why their baked beans are so tasty! The atmosphere, staff and food were excellent. Will definitely dine there again! They have a few restaurants around Vegas so if you find yourself in the area and have a hankering for ribs, check them out! You won't be sorry. Oh, and try their sauces they have at your table. If you like hot, the Devil's Spit will satisfy!
