My wife was in Atlanta for a conference and a colleague took us here. We all loved the mostly vegetarian dishes, which we ate share style with traditional Ethiopian flat bread, using the bread to scoop up morsels of food. Our waitress gave us great advice, and was good-humoured when we had to give in and ask for a fork and spoon! The spiced tea to finish was delicious. All very reasonably priced. No loud music, which we so appreciated.

This modest size restaurant serves excellent and flavorful east african food along with wonderful service. The decor is brilliant and striking. The seating is comfortable and you can have a conversation with straining. After a wonderful dinner that included the vegetarian sampler and the chef's special ,I had a traditional coffee with frankincense. The combination of the coffee and incense was delightful. We plan on returning!

In a strip center, near a busy intersection, who would expect such gem? Take chance on this place, make it a destination. It's worth it! This Ethiopian restaurant has, as the name (Bistro) implies, more worldliness than most in its category. The patio has creature comforts: very comfortable seats, curtains for decor, shade from an overhanging roof, and solid tables. Then come the cloth napkins, a bottle of chilled water and pretty glasses. Good start! The server was motivated to help navigating the menu and offered choices not listed. Then came the food, dressed up to please the eye: plate decorations and colorful, fresh garnishes. Too bad there were only two of us, I would have liked to see and taste more dishes. The hummus was special: chunky with chopped jalapeño, whole lentils and fresh herbs. The pita points for scooping it came right off the grill. An order (2) of Sambusa's ( a triangular light pastry stuffed with a lentil mixture) came with a sweet/spicy flavored red sauce, and a green mayonnaise sauce, for an extra 75 cents, glad I had both, it added to the dish. The Fu'ul was a hearty, almost chili like, looking stew, topped with fresh tomato and green onion, and again pita points to enjoy. So sorry we had no room for dessert. Feedel blends the culinary experience sophisticated Americans expect with the cultural, ethnic flavors they hanker for. We'll be back, the 20 some miles to drive in from the Northside will be no issue!

this restaurant made a spring list of top 35 restaurants so we gave it a try. it was our first time eating Ethiopian and we will be back for more. Very friendly family owned using their moms recipes. Several vegan options made hubby happy too.
Great Ethiopian food- even better service
We had planned to visit Desta across the street but the hour wait for takeout was too much. We wandered over to Feedel ( 4 1/2 Yelp stars ) and ran into the owner. She was charming as was our waiter. We had beef tips and the vegetarian platter and a couple of apps. Everything including the injera was very good. They stick an Ethiopian beer that we all enjoyed and finished off with a mango and a pistachio gelato. We ate outside in the shade but the restaurant interior was well decorated and looked inviting. The best part was the service. They made us feel like guests to their house for dinner. We’ll go back for the food and the hospitality.
