Excellent atmosphere. Had the steak and eggs for breakfast and it was memorable. my wife had the salsa verde hash and totally enjoyed her meal. Excellent service. Overall a very pleasant surprise.

Came in with some friends on Sunday afternoon, the place has a cool ambiance and the staff is very friendly. We ordered: the scallop tostada as an app -delicious, the market salad with grilled shrimp, and the shrimp roll -both were just okay honestly could be better. And the burger -which was absolutely delicious and what I would order if I go back. • Vine con algunos amigos el domingo por la tarde, el lugar tiene buen ambiente y el personal es muy amable. Pedimos la tostada de vieira como app, deliciosa, la ensalada con camarones a la parrilla y el rollo de camarones, ambos estaban bien pero podrían mejorar, y la hamburguesa que estuvo increíble y lo que pediré si regreso.

This place has something amazing, we had an amazing experience here with my family, unfortunately but fortunately we didn’t found a table and we had to sit on the bar , KJ the bartender was absolutely nice with us, we had so much fun , the food was amazing and the drinks stunning. I recommend the pasta Del Mar and the IPA beer and the nachos and the espresso martini

We came with family for lunch after a nice visit to Venice. We were very well received and served by the two young ladies. The kitchen is excellent, the terrace very nice and the service done with a smile.

My husband and I had breakfast here on Sunday morning. He had the omelet/chorizo. I had the granola and yogurt. Both were delicious, the lattes with whole milk were perfect.

We were walking by a week prior and saw Breakfast Happy Hour from 8 to 9 - and decided to have breakfast this morning The location and setting was spectacular on Venice beach The young lady who waited on us was very friendly and efficient, as was the entire staff. The coffee, latte, omelet and lox plate were All very nice! Happy Hour from 8 to 9 is genius- this place is a keeper

Ate there on Saturday night 19th August and had no problem with food and drink but we were disgusted when the waiter added a 25% tip without us realising.

Amazing Food. Mean, judgmental staff. Basically a mean white girl joint. Too bad cuz they have amazing eggs and fresh produce.

Saw this spot while on morning walk on the Venice boardwalk. Just got coffee, avocado toast and incredible banana bread but it was so good. Perfect spot right on the boardwalk. Good atmosphere with nice indoor and outdoor seating. I saw someone eating a huge breakfast burrito that looked great as well.

Breakfast was tasty. We got there before 8am but had to wait a long time for food due to shortage of staff that day. Beautiful location right on the beach.

The Fig Tree is an iconic Venice/Santa Monica spot that somehow retains a quaint and off the beaten path affect. Over the three decades I've been a Fig Tree loyalist, I have never been short of delighted with my experience. Expect virtual-vegetarian fare (some chicken options though, etc.) made with quality ingredients and served promptly with laid-back yet attentive service. Watch the world go by (you are front row on the world-famous boardwalk), and take a sweet break at the Fig Tree.

The menu is not very extensive, but everything we tried was delicious. Medium-high prices. Friendly staff. Exquisite carrot cake and coffee.

If you're staying above at Su Casa, this is right downstairs and is perfect for a quick bite. Aside from the Tulum vibes the staff is the best part, very friendly and fun to mess around with. Cheers vibes for sure.

Easy and quick service , great view and nice food, oysters are tasty but small. Recommend to order tasty salmon and avocado

Great alternative food. Had the plantain pancakes. They were really good. Great vegetarian/vegan and glutenfree options, nice scenery, nice outdoor patio. Reservation required (online only, calling impossible).

Nice ambiance on the Venice promenade. Food was very good and service great. Grilled chicken sandwich was excellent and plenty for sharing. Warm Choc chip cookie for dessert was a bit pricey but good. Nice beach view and good for watching the many colorful characters passing by

Want as I saw it and it looked inviting. The food was lovely. I had the avocado chicken melt with fries. It was so good! The portion size was very good too, I don’t manage to finish my meal as there was so much, After paying I asked where th rest room was…the member of staff seemed put out by my question.

what to say.....45 min before giving our order, many employees but serious problem of management priorities. We froze on the terrace, we asked to change places but we said no. The 2 people next to noua arrive with a dog and the waitress hastens to give them blankets. The food was good. The invoice was late so we had to ask for it twice. More than 2 hours in this restaurant for dinner, way too long!

The food was lovely and would definitely recommend the burgers. Cocktails great too. Best thing though was the service - fantastic and friendly waiters. The view of the sunset was special too

Top location on the Venice Croisette beach, delicious food, great team and top location I recommend at any time of the day Happy hour between 4pm and 6pm

We stopped here for lunch and it turned out to be a gem. My husband had a Shrimp Roll and I had Avocado Chicken Melt, they were delicious.

We were looking for a relaxed, chilled early evening meal before wandering back to our hotel, and we definatley got it at 'Fig'. A very relaxed vibe from the staff, but yet attentive and friendly. Right on Venice beach front with lots going on... Great cocktails and simple yet interesting food. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced considering it was righton the neach front. Would recommend and revisit if in the area. Thank you for a memorable visit.

While visiting Los Angeles, my wife and I stopped at the Figtree Cafe for lunch. We were immediately seated but waited a while to be served. Once the waiter arrived we placed our order. I had a Turkey Bacon Burger and side salad. The food was very good here but we did have a wait to even pay our bill.

Me and my husband came here for breakfast. We was on vacation. I got given the bill which I payed for in cash I didn’t leave a tip as I didn’t have enough cash on me. Also didn’t think it was worth a tip. My husband went toilet and the waiter came up to me while I was sat on my own (I am a young girl) he said to me ‘did you mean to not tip?’ Which is extremely rude. I therefore said ‘yes sorry I don’t have enough’ he replied ‘that’s absolutely ridiculous’ and stormed of. He ruined my whole day I was so upset by the way he spoke to me while I was sat on my own. We spent a lot on the meal anyway, I am therefore glad I didn’t tip I will never be returning. Disgusting and rude behaviour from a waiter.

Nice staff, average food, nice location. For a quick coffee on Venice Beach nice, but breakfast is better.

Stumbled upon it by chance, during our walk from Santa Monica. Very nicely decorated both inside and on the terrace. The food is very tasty, fresh and original. The operation is smooth. Everything is neat and there is a great chilly vibe.

We stayed here for a top breakfast with direct access to the front way . Best quality and great nice Service. We will be back

We went there by chance and came back The dishes are excellent but not cheap Efficient and friendly service On the beach but without the noise because the restaurant is rather quiet

I had breakfast as this restaurant this morning with family and friends. The menu has a good variety of healthy food. I had a Chorizo Omelet with Avocado, and it was just okay. The Omelet would have been better with the sausage on the side. I was told that the Blood Orange porridge was okay, and the pancakes were delicious. The view is lovely and it's a nice place to go on a beautiful warm sunny day. The waitress and clean-up staff were excellent. The only drawback was the receptionist Adrian. She was very unpleasant and definitely should not be the person greeting and seating customers. We asked about her and it was shared that we are not the only parties that have complained about her. I think the owners should consider moving her away from this role!!

Popped in Here for a drink and a little bite. This is a lovely oasis right in the heart of Venice Beach. I had the seasonal soup of butternut squash and potatoes with pepitas and chimichurri. It came with delicious wheat sourdough toast. It was so yummy and tasty. My husband had the breakfast burrito. He said it was the best one he’s had in his life. I also had a mighty tasty spicy margarita. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was definitely a wonderful surprise along the boardwalk!

Small casual new outdoor cafe on Venice Beachwalk. Mini seafood tacos were a hit as well as churros for dessert for our party of six. Friendly service was helpful and attentive.

Just hits the right spots, recommend it for breakfast! Located on the beach front they give an amazing fast and timed service.

Lunch along Venice Beach and we walked past this little restaurant. Great view of the Ocean and the passing locals . Had chicken salad with sourdough bread and my wife had a mixed breakfast plate with eggs and fajitas. Both were excellent! Staff very friendly and good service. Highly recommended

Okay just to be clear. READ THE MENU and in which conditions you are stepping in to. We didn’t knew that the 18% tip were already added to our bill.. The waitress should inform about it, even though it was in the menu written in tiny tiny letters... Overall, the quality of the food was good and the service kind. It's nice to have a place in Venice with healthy food like Fig Tree.

Beachy cafe by the Boardwalk with brunch. Came here on a Saturday around noon with a couple of friends, and we had made an online reservation in advance (there’s a cancellation fee if you charge with less than 24 hours notice). Indoor and outdoor seating is available. It’s a dog-friendly patio. Single occupant gender neutral restrooms are available inside. Prices are on the higher side given the portions but it’s Venice. I got the salmon toast which came with cream cheese and veggies (no sides). The Amazon smoothie is pretty good. My friend got the burrito but asked to make it vegetarian, so they charged $2 more to include mushrooms instead of meat. They do have gluten-free options.

Location, price and atmosphere were good, the breakfast burrito was average - too much potato and not enough of anything else, service was grim.

The food was overpriced. We walked out of the restaurant wanting more food as the portions were pathetically small. We ordered two tostadas as appetizers which were $8 each. They were tiny tostadas. yes, it was tasty but probably two bites. I got a shrimp roll $20 that was a small roll with probably two tablespoons of shrimp salad. My husband got pasta for $26. It was tasty but once again a small portion. We did not get good seating either and the wait was so long for the food. We got our main meal first and had to ask several times for the appetizer as we were still hungry. There was an automatic 18% tip included. We will not go there again. Shame!

We went there at a time when breakfast service was rolling into lunch service. So we were able to sample both menus. The food tasted great and the portions were balanced. The service was very good. The ambience is typical Venice beach, lively and colorful. I would visit again.

we stayed at the above hotel, which was gorgeous by the way, and popped in for a bite the next morning in the fig tree grill. i loved the shitake olive scramble and my mom had fruit because they were out of waffles for the day. the girls working the bar were so kind to my elderly mother and made a real stiff bloody mary! bravo ladies!
