Nice assortment of dishes; a bit overpriced

By theapp |

The assortment of dishes at this establishment ensures most people will find something they like. And as the portion sizes are relatively small, you will want to sample multiple items from the menu, hopefully sharing with others at your table to get the best experience from this type of venue. That being said, the prices of the dishes seemed a bit high as compared to other tapas restaurants I've attended in the past. I am not sure that the quality strictly matches the increase prices, although I do admit the food was tasty. If the prices were a bit lower, or if specials kicked in lower prices, I could see this as a regular place to stop and eat. Overall, the service was top-notch, the food was tasty and the options were abundant. If you are looking for a nice place to sit and sample numerous different small dishes, you can't go wrong coming here. Just be mindful that a small party of people will cost you a bit.

Yum!

By Erin C |

Can't say enough good things about this place! Delicious. Everything we tried has SO much flavor packed in. Wonderful selection! Wonderful waiter too!!

Paradise Lost

By Symilarian |

Firefly just moved recently from their original location on Paradise. The obvious reason was they needed more room due to their popularity. The only thing is that they lost the ambience that made it such a Chic spot. While the food is still very good, it felt like going a Country kitchen family restauraunt and not the intiment layed back place that became one of my favorites. 😄

Average Rating

By Gary S |

This is a popular restaurant and the food is average. The restaurant is very dark and several customers were using their cell phone lights to read the menu. The herbed chicken was not very hot. They add a lot of herbs, spices and peppers to their food. I had the herbed chicken that had a heavy coating of herbs..Their hamburger is small for the price. The chicken skewers we very good. The salad was good but over priced. The server knows English but his accent is difficult to understand in this loud restaurant. Server was very attentive, quick, and helpful.

Off the strip

By Lucy T |

We chose this place because it was off the strip, where everything was overpriced and seats were hard to find. The food here was really good, and with Tapas, you get a chance to sample several items. They had specials on several of the Tapas we shared, and all were delicious, while not killing us in the pocketbook!

A Must if in Vegas !!!

By Guillermo M |

On this trip we went with brother and wife, sister and mom. We had Boquerones, Ceviche of Shrimp, Stuffed Dates, Pulpo Asado, Camarones a la Diabla, Camarones al Ajillo, Steamed Mussels, Steak & Mushroom skewers and a Pitcher of sangria. All the dishes were prepared to perfection. The service was attentive but not overbearing in all it was a great experience. We have visited this restaurant every time we come to Vegas and every time is excellent.

Overpriced and Bland

By Dmlsun |

We had a reservation and waited a short time for our table. The server was impatient and although he came to us right away, he stood there waiting for our drink orders when we were still trying to decide on wine and beer selection. We felt rushed. The atmosphere was appealing, but noise level was too high. We couldn’t hear the staff or each other right across the table. The drinks arrived and our food orders put in. The runners with food dropped off the tapas one at a time. One of us had our food order and one of us had none for quite a time. We both agreed our selections were bland. No one checked in with us or asked whether they could get us something else. We had only one item we enjoyed (steak, shrimp and chorizo skewers). The cod, chicken, and mussels were all missing flavor. We will not be going back!

Good food and quite different.

By Bobby31225 |

My step daughter took me here while I was overnight in Vegas. I've never been to a restaurant like this in my life. You order small plates of this and or that. It was good and quite interesting. Good service and interesting food dishes.

Wonderful patio

By joe-chicago-23 |

There was a wedding party using the entire patio when we arrived, so we had to wait until tables were cleared. It's extremely loud on the inside, so we were happy to finally be seated outside. Not much view, but breezy and socially distanced and very relaxing on the patio. The food was worth the wait. Even the bread and butter was delicious. Our favorite tapas were the apple manchino salad, the tomato basil soup with little grilled brie sandwiches and the chicken tingo empanadas. We enjoyed the chocolate tres leches cake for dessert. For small plates the portions were quite large. We had issues with our phones and the hostess even called a taxi for us. It was a much appreciated touch of extra service.

Good off strip meal.

By BeakerTX |

Great evening meal on their patio. Good service and food. Nothing extraordinary, but some common tapas options with decent execution. Some nice beer options, too. Nice meal away from the strip.

Firefly has a lot of selection and excellent service. The lighting is terrible. You can't read the menu.

By HappyExplorer7752014 |

We were with a few other couples and so had a reservation. The restaurant is nice and our server was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Firefly is a great choice if you like tapas restaurants because it has parking and is a stand-alone restaurant (as opposed to trying to find parking by a hotel or on the Strip). We were there on a was a busy night but the restaurant ran smoothly. There are a lot of selections on the menu and some of the plates had plenty of food. We had spicy french fries with cheese, which were good and bacon-wrapped dates as appetizers (although I guess everything could be considered an appetizer). The dates were very tasty. My favorite item was the empanadas. They were crispy and had a nicely seasoned meat filling. Our table also had paella which others in the group found delicious (I'm personally not a fan of paella). The shrimp tempura was also excellent. Overall, I think that Firefly is an excellent choice if you like the variety of a small-plate dining experience.

Perfect for a light but substantial meal

By Paola G |

Given the heat encountered, we felt the need to have a light dinner, but without giving up some particular flavours. We chose this place attracted by the gazpacho, in addition to that we had a salad with goat cheese, toasted hazelnuts and other mixed vegetables, and peppers stuffed with mozzarella with an exquisite tomato sauce. Before bringing us the dishes they offered us some homemade bread with flavored butter. I really liked the flavors, and the portions are slightly larger than the tapas I've had in other places. I recommend taking a plate and a half each, so you should leave satisfied. To drink we had two lemonades made on the spot, we spent around $45, which is normal for Las Vegas prices.

Great Atmosphere Business Meeting

By Mike G |

Recently ate here with a group of work colleagues. The food was delicious as were the drinks. There was plenty of options for everyone, vegetarian, meat lovers, etc...Would definitely visit again when in Vegas.

We return every year, that says it all

By Richard S |

Started going to Firefly at their old location and we followed them to the present location. Simply a great time every time, good food and drinks and fabulous service.

Good drinks and tapas

By April T |

We actually ended up here twice in three days. Very good sangria and tapas with friendly service. The menu is very extensive. I highly recommend.

Tappas…

By Rusty M |

We have been wanting to try this place for a while. Glad we finally decided to go. I had The New Girl for my drink while my wife opted for Red Sangria. Both were good. We chose the stuffed dates, chicken skewers and fish sticks for our food. All was good. We ended our meal with the chocolate tres leches cake. Also very good. We went during happy hour which was a plus.

Fantastic

By RedFury315 |

Had THE best experience! Loved the vibe and decor. But what was even better was the service and the tapas!!! We sat at the bar and were treated with Rafeal’s service. The menu is large so I rolled the dice and let Rafeal pick my tapas…dealers choice!! and he nailed it!! Delicious!! definitely check it out it is a treat!

Fun place for dinner

By FLtraveler152 |

While visiting Vegas last weekend, we stopped in Firefly for dinner. It is a small plates type restaurant, so each person orders 2-3 menu items, and everyone shares. The whole table gets to try new things, and it is a fun experience. The food was pretty good. Most of what we ordered we would eat again if we went back.

Large Party - Dining with Kids

By mom_of_2_nyc |

given the size of our party, we tried most of the tapas and some other dishes. my favorite was probably the pulpo which was flavorful and tender with a side of roasted potatoes, followed by the tuna tartare (it's got a kick) with taro chips (more chips on the asking)! yum. we had 3 desserts: passion fruit cheesecake; flan; and chocolate tres leches cake. flan didn't have much taste, tres leches was a bit more dense than expected and the 4 passion fruit tartelettes were perfect for sharing. the team were aware of our table's allergy concerns and were careful to indicate which plates had nuts and would help double check with the kitchen if they were not sure. they also separated the almond cookie rolls that came with dessert to ensure that the cookies were not on the same plate or touch the desserts. tapas and paella were good. service was a bit lacking. didn't seem to be short staffed at first, but as the place filled, the more difficult it was to get the attention of the staff and there were 2 of them and bus/beverage staff. one was a trainee. could also be due to the covid worker shortage. we had a very early dinner owing to activities in the early evening - 4pm when they opened and by 5.30 it was pretty much at capacity. good vibe and sound level was getting up there. ordered sangria and a top shelf tequila on the rocks. the bill came with a charge for the tequila at $14 and $3 for 'rocks' which seemed a bit odd. we didn't bother asking, but seemed pretty ridiculous to pay for ice. they generously refilled soft drinks and water on the regular. we were pleasantly surprised about "happy hour" which we weren't aware of at the time of booking. until 6pm, some of the tapas and the sangria were at happy hour prices (savings on average of $2 per happy hour eligible plates, sangria pitcher savings of $13).

Happy hour

By scottsdaletravelchick |

Whenever we visit Las Vegas we make sure to stop off here. ā¤ļø their food, nice little tapas with a ton of choices & great flavor. Great prices for happy hour. You can have a great dinner by just ordering off the happy hour menu. Love their mojitos. Happy hour is 4-6pm, you may want to make a reservation if you go after 6pm gets very busy.

Quality is down!

By Tina E |

This has been my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas, and I continue to come back almost every time, but now might be the time to move on to new and better places. We were told that there was a 25 min wait, we sat at the bar having a drink while we waited. 40 minutes later still no table, although the floor had numerous tables and areas empty. When asked the hostess said it would be another 25 minutes. The restrooms were nasty, it wasn’t even 6pm and toilet paper was out, place stank and there were papers on the floor. With 3 hostesses you would think one could take a peek for some quality. Food was good, as always, service was so so. Ordered cognac and was served a cheap Sherry. I will consider coming back?

5 stars all the way around

By Jedimasterkush |

We came for a birthday celebration and had an incredible evening. Firefly is now in their new location. We dined on so many great things but I think the paella (which you need to order from the beginning since it is made to order) and the baby back ribs.

Great restaurant off strip

By Travelbugsforlife |

Stopped here for lunch on our way into town, killing time before we could check in. We were able to sit out on the patio, which has this big sails to block the sun and make it really comfortable out there. The sangria was amazing and every tapa we ordered were amazing. They pack a lot of flavor into the little portions. Our waitress we very friendly and we had a really nice time.

Still Awesome! Small Plates and Tapas

By ALEX P |

First time at the new location. Much brighter and open and very nice. Same great food. Service was excellent. Fast to receive the small plates and all were delicious. Wonderful options for vegetarians, and folks on a special diet. Loved it - highly recommend.

Great off-the-strip option

By soonerj92 |

They had a lunch special that we tried (you pick 3 off the special menu) then we added the stuffed dates. Everything we ordered was amazing! Our server was very attentive and offered suggestions (like the dates). We were full by the time we were done. Very reasonably priced as well.

TAPAS AND PAELLA

By vicnic28 |

Paella delicious !! Sangria delicious!! Wine flight delicious !! Service fantastic!! Off the strip and worth the drive …

Great for Couples or Business Meetings--or Big Friend/Family Do's

By Kris S |

First of all, this well-known and loved venue is off the Strip, and yet very close to many major hotels/resorts, with free and easy parking. It's large, so there are many different seating options, including a covered outdoor area. Yet, the style isn't sprawly, and many inside tables are actually old school intimate (not that easy to find in Vegas actually). The menu is diverse and well-priced. Spanish influence. This is my go-to place for one-on-one meet-ups with friends visiting for a short time, or for bigger groups 6-8. Very comfortable. There's also a great space for product launches, completely separate from the main dining / bar areas. This is a place locals come back to. A nice option from the casino venues. Good for couples, business, medium sized group of friends.

OK food but be prepared for jacked up prices.

By celnaver |

The food was good for the most part. Portions were very small. We paid $135 (tip included for 4 people) Believe me, the food wasn't that good. The ticky tack add on prices are ridiculous. My son ordered a ginger beer or ginger ale and they brought it to the table in a 12 ounce can which cost $5 each. $5 for a can of soda? Really? Even movie theaters don't charge those kind of prices. People complain about paying $3 to $4 per gallon for gasoline. Imagine my shock at paying $53 per gallon for flavored sugar water in a can.

Fun and Lively Tapas Restaurant

By ALEX P |

We had a really nice evening at Firefly. The selection and variety of Tapas are excellent and the service is attentive. If you arrive before 6PM you can catch happy hour for reduced priced drinks and many tapas. Everything we tried we liked but props to the dates, apple manchego salad and cheese plate!

Fabulous Meal, delicious Sangria

By dmsyoung |

The menu has an incredibly varied selection, and every single thing was delicious. The sangria is house made - get a pitcher, because one glass will not be enough.

We had Paella in Barcelona but Firefly's is better

By Phil T |

Great service delicious food, it doesn't get any better than this. Besides this Firefly is off the strip so their prices are down to earth and very reasonable considering the quality of food you're getting. The only dish I didn't enjoy was their spicy shrimp, it really wasn't spicy at all, any heat was totally overwhelmed by the sweetness. I bet they used Kechap Manise as their main flavoring ingredient but that's Indonesian isn't it?

Little plates, not so little

By Trina A |

Our group was over 20 people, so every type of tapa plate was ordered. Of all the menu items very few misses, lots of hits. Everyone left happy.

Wonderful tapa evening !!

By swissms333 |

This place was a hit! We are foodies and love tapas, and this was definitely an amazing place of great flavors… we ordered the butternut squash soup, firefly Parmesanfries, firefly salad, unbelievable shrimp, with red pepper flakes, and mushroom and steak skewers. It came w fresh bread with honey butter. We had plenty of food, reasonably priced, service was fantastic with Jose and his helpers. Only thing I would do different was probably order the soup and salad first and then put in the order for the food because everything came out so fast. Thank you for a great or a last evening in Vegas, we will be back!

LOVE Firefly!

By CrazyTravelLady |

Firefly Tapas has amazing tapas! I hit this place up every time I am in Vegas... for work, with the husband, with friends... it’s a must for me! It’s always full of people. If you are going Thursday thru sunday, make sure you make a reservation to get seated quickly. I like to catch a taxi or Lyft since heir parking lot is not huge and we have had issues parking in the past. Their tapas range from $6 to upwards of $20, but most fall in the $7-$10 range. Bacon wrapped dates are a must. I love that we can try new things without a commitment to a full meal of it if it’s not our favorite! The tapas come nicely plated. I recommend ordering two or three at a time. The kitchen does a great job at spacing them out perfectly and the waitresses are right on when it comes to making sure you get your next order in so there is always food on the table. I am going to keep my 5 star review for Firefly with the notation that the last time we were here, the service was not phenomenal. First time that happened in 11 years, so I think it’s a one off. Waitress was way more interested in talking to the guys bringing the food out than seeing if we needed more. Probably spent double the amount of time it should have taken us to eat, but we had nowhere to go after, so it was ok. Try Firefly, you won’t regret it!! And order a mojito or one of their superb sangrias! 100% worth it!

Average Food and Service

By shellyc653 |

I specifically booked this restaurant so I could try multiple Tapas and thought it was close to the Hilton Grand Vacation on Paradise. Our Left driver could not find it. We when arrived for lunch it was empty. The Ceviche was average - not near the best I've had and my spouse said it wasn't good. The other dishes were average. There was nothing really good to speak of. The prices were okay and the service was about average. Based on reviews I thought this place would be much better. I was disappointed. I would go back if it was an food emergency.

Overpriced with Unacceptable Service

By Jan G |

The apple/manchego salad was delicious! But the chicken empanadas were dry, overcooked and only tolerable with the accompanying greens. The principal server was non-existent until I asked another waiter for service! Having the opportunity to travel on business to both Latin America as well as Spain, I was expecting better quality!

Excellent Tapas Everytime

By Sue C. |

My husband and I always stop at the firefly every time we are in Las Vegas. They never disappoint. The tapas is excellent we started off with a glass of sangria and a Mojito. The stuffed dates was our first choice which we get every time. Always outstanding. Next was the Serrano and Manchego Cheese tapas. Followed by steamed mussels and the chicken Tinga empanada. The Firefly is located off the strip on Paradise Road. Definitely worth the trip.

Legit Delicious Tapas

By SRHexplores |

This restaurant was packed for dinner service yet dishes were brough out pretty timely. The flavors were so bright and amazing. Dishes we tried and loved: apple manchego salad, albondigas, chorizo clams, and seared scallops. The red sangria carafe had a surprising light rose flavor, which was interesting. Modern yet cozy atmosphere.

Love this place!

By Stacy |

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas! It’s off the Strip. Fantastic atmosphere and great tapas! I haven’t had anything I didn’t like yet! The sangria is amazing (both the red & the white) and the beer selection is good! Highly recommend!

Terrific Spanish Tapas

By Jo H |

Our server, Robert, took great care of us! He was attentive without pushing the pace of our meal - which we greatly appreciated. We had sparkling water, drinks, 6 small plates, and the dessert platter. Our meal, including tax & tip, was about $180 for 2 people. Everything we tried was beautiful and delicious! We had serrano & manchego plate, avocado toasties, Brussels sprouts, lamb chops, camarones al ajillo, tortilla EspaƱola. Looking forward to trying other items in the future!!!

Wow! Excellent tapas: apple/manchego,

By Meg B. |

Wow! Excellent tapas: apple/manchego, croquetas and albondigas. Next to Fairfield Inn on paradise road.

For those looking for "healthy" dishes.

By sandroPG1980 |

For our second night in Vegas we wanted to eat something Mediterranean. And this place seemed like the right one. Wide choice of tapas and other complete dishes. We took 3, all good. Medium portions. Good prices considering the place. The only flaw is the beers: costs above €10. We chose 2 lemonades for a total of €44.

a huge variety of food

By Bradco2022 |

We stayed at the Marriott Spring hill and they recommended this restaurant, just south of the Convention center. Large menu of tapas. Great food. a tad loud but this is Las Vegas

Wonderful Tapas

By Jim A |

Firefly is a wonderful Tapas establishment IF YOU CAN FIND PARKING. My only complaint or this would be a 5-star review. But, its a big complaint! I dropped off my party in front and proceeded to do laps around the building, waiting for a place to open up. The food was wonderful. The Stuffed Dates and the Flavored Mojito's were highlights. Our server, Elena C, was spot on and assisted by others in presenting the plates. I would definately go back, but parking IS a problem.

Last Time at Firefly Tapas

By Ann A |

I've been to Firefly Tapas 4 times, each time hoping to get good Spanish tapas since I miss tapas in Spain where I used to live. Most have been average. The Tortilla Espanola has always been terrible. (If they want me to teach them how to make a Tortilla Espanola, I am willing.) But, I continued to go to remind me of home. This time however, they served us obviously (it was stinky) spoiled mussels. How do you serve spoiled mussels? It worries me then about their other food.

Late night meal

By W travler |

Return visit to this hidden gem just off the strip. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy some tapas, fairly priced delicious food (which I would personally say is nicer than most of the high end restaurant on the strip) staff are great and it’s set in a nice atmosphere.

Great Spanish Tapas and service off the main strip!!

By Sharon M |

Referral from the concierge as we wanted something more local than touristy. Ubered it for 10 mins - great ambience, food, and good prices! Lots of fun...we were a group of 8 and had sharing plates!

What a selection

By Scigris |

I was going through some pictures the other day and realized I hadn’t written a review about firefly. In the evening it was quite crowded. A little noisy with several large groups dining together. A friend and I went there because they have numerous items that are small portions and simple. Everything we got, especially the dates, was excellent. I am not a fan of lamb, however, it was absolutely wonderful and I will get it again. We also had some stuffed bell pepper which was delicious. And I can see why women like this place. Small portions, shareable and delicious.

Great late night food

By Kyle_P1 |

Tapas allows you to have a light meal late. Service was great and there was a lively atmosphere even at midnight. Huevos Renallanas and Calamari were both very good.

Great food, good atmosphere

By Aaron P |

Always have enjoyed coming here, good food and service with a great atmosphere. Very consistent but can be pricey.

Fantastico Tapas

By Italiana916 |

We had a group of eight people and we all ordered two plates each to share which was a ton of food. Every single plate was fantastic, mushroom toast, empanadas veggie and meat, stuffed dates, ribs, and more. The atmosphere was very nice, really good vibes, fast service, and helpful staff. I plan on going again the next time I am in Las Vegas. A real treat and gem.

We went twice already on our Vegas visit and will surely go again! Amazing food and great staff.

By tosee123 |

We loved the food so much we went again the next day. We tried so many dishes and all of them were so tasty. Friendly staff, high recommended

Busy place with excellent prices

By llabrada |

We went on a Saturday evening, easy access and plenty of parking in the back of the building. We had 2 different taps each and a bottle of Double Canyon cabernet, it came to under $100 with tip. The dates wrapped in bacon were delicious, my favorite was the goat cheese in a warm tomato soup. Will definitely go back. For those visiting Vegas is less than a mile from the strip.

Some of the Best Food in Las Vegas

By Nancy D |

We were a very large group in a private room. The service was very good. And, I thought it was some of the best food I’ve eaten in Las Vegas. The small plates menu was endless and they were so delicious. Everyone in the group was really happy. The stuffed dates, vegetarian empanada and garlic shrimp was wonderful. We all loved the butter that was spicy and sweet that came with the complimentary bread. Lots of free parking. Easy access as not inside a casino.

Amazing host

By Tami |

My husband and I have been going here for awhile now and everytime we go we are always greeted by the beautiful young lady Ariana. Her smile truly lightens up the place as soon as you walk in and she is extremely helpful whenever we have a question. We always enjoy seeing her when we go here to eat.

Our regular place to go

By Carlos L |

If you are looking for tapas in Vegas, this could be your place to go. Great sangria and selection of drinks. Tapas are splendid, and I almost like them better than the ones I tried in Barcelona. Not far from the strip, friendly bilingual staff, vast selection. My favorites are the dates and ceviche, yummy! They even use to set up live music on weekends, but I don't know if this is still running.

Mediocre

By Juan P |

Very disappointed. Asked for tortilla espaƱola and didn’t even think it was made with potatoes , looks more like masa harina, then de seafood paella ( that we waited for 45’) rice was over cooked, and all you can taste was tomato sauce ( as if you were eating spaghetti). And to top all off it comes with a really high price as if what you eat is really good. Disgusting... the only thing true to his name is the size of portions which are minuscule , like after all is a good thing , but the best you can do is eat none of this.

Great variety

By 63Kathyd |

This busy little tapas restaurant is fantastic. Loved the variety of food, we tried about 10 different items and none were disappointing. However, the ham and cheese croquettes, fillet skewers and bacon wrapped dates were our favorites. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very loud.

Spanish food

By Stuart D |

It's a Spanish themed restaurant with tapas you can share. I personnally recommend the stuffed dates. Love the atmosphere. We will be back on our next trip to Vegas!

Our favorite meal in Vegas!

By Matthew A |

Two of us arrived after a long day getting to Vegas. This place was relatively close out our hotel and it was just what we were looking for. The food was outstanding and the drinks were delicious. Between the two of us we had about 5 different dishes and they were all fantastic. Our least favorite was the parmesan fries and they were great. This place is top notch delicious. The service was wonderful and the vibe was excellent.

Good tapas off the strip!

By Samuel E |

I was looking for something a little different after the all you can eat buffets and high priced casino food. Though not exactly cheap eats, Firefly was more reasonably priced for Vegas and definitely good. I ordered the stuffed dates to start and they were sweet and succulent, wrapped in bacon, stuffed with an almond and covered in blue cheese. Excellent little combination especially with my Malbec. Next I had scallops served ā€œescargot styleā€ which I actually misread. I thought I was ordering snails, but the scallops were a nice touch and though not the consistency of snail, still very good in the sauce. The baked goat cheese with toast was a ā€œcan’t go wrong ā€œ dish and didn’t disappoint. My last dish was Boquerones which is white anchovy with yellow pepper and avocado. Delicious! Overall, above my expectations for Vegas and this is comparable to places I’ve been to in Spain though pricier. No regrets and I would defined recommend!

Amazing chicken!

By Baberaham |

Liked the look of this place from the outside and called in. Had the roast chicken. Was amazing!!! Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended

Carefully check the bill!

By S. Thind |

I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars, not because of the food or waitress service but for being unethical. We had a group of 12 people for a birthday celebration on Feb 8. I had no complaints about the food or the service. I have a problem with the managers response. Because it was dark (and probably I had a few too many to drink) when I paid the bill, I didn't realize they had already put on a 20% tip on the bill. I inadvertently added another 20% ($90.00) tip on top. Realizing my mistake I phoned and spoke with the Manager (Charles) and explained what happened. Charles advised that it wasn't a problem and that on Monday when the office staff come in he would have them reverse it back onto my CC. He had all my info. Fast forward 20 Days, I checked my Credit Card statement and the charge had not been reversed. For the last 15 days, I have and left messages on 4 occasions and I have not received a callback. I don't expect I will but I thought I would save someone a few bucks! My loss. I'll consider it a donation. Please check your bill before paying!

Love the atmosphere, Sangrias, food, service, everything about Firefly! Not our 1st visit! Return customer!

Just off the strip!

By Robin D |

The food was amazing and everything was served at its perfect temperature. Call ahead for seating, you’ll be glad you did!

Late lunch / Early Munch!

By Alibri67 |

Never disappoints! I preferred the old location as I loved sitting on the patio and the intimate interior ambiance BUT I wil always keep coming back for the food. I love to graze and experience many different flavors in a meal so I never get tired of eating here. The sangria ( white or red) is excellent and works well with all the dishes.

Highly recommend

By smbuckmaster |

We ate here for dinner while in Vegas for a trade show. The waiter said get 2 tapas a piece and share. I’ve eaten at tapas bars before where the portions we’re very small. So I have to say I didn’t believe him. We got three apiece. And it was way too much food. The portions are huge for tapas. And the quality is just amazing! Altogether at the table we got 12 different items plus a dessert. And every single one of them was unique and delicious. I would come here again if I make it back to Vegas. I highly recommend. For two of us with three items each and dessert plus tip our total was around $70.

Great New Experience

By Ladye A |

Trying the Flights is the way to go. We enjoyed the Avocado Toasties and Pan Roasted Brussel Sprouts for appetizers, they were very good. For the meal we all shared the Albondigas, Baked Coat Cheese, Ham & Cheese Croquettes, Steak Y Papas and ended with Chocolate Tres Leches Cake.

Excellent food and service

By Kay H |

We found this place last year close to our hotel and enjoyed it. Although we stayed several miles from it on this trip to LV we made a point of returning. The tapas menu is very diversified. We have enjoyed every item we have ordered. Each plate tastes freshly prepared and remarkably different. Also enjoyed their wine and beer selections. Will definitely return next trip.

Great food!!

By Amy B |

The food was delicious and serve was fantastic! My husband and I had the filet and the ahi tuna. Both were so good. Our waitress took great care of us too. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent Food!

By PokerPsychic |

We went to this place a number of times on this trip. Food was consistently excellent! Service was a bit take order and drop the bill, but, that was not the case with every visit. I did have to chase someone down to get a drink refill. Going back to the food, I had the scallops and the steak & mushrooms; they were excellent. Prices were reasonable. This is a do again.

Paella!

By Wilmington_DEJoanne |

Great service, wonderful atmosphere, terrific tapas, delicious sangria and the absolute best paella this side of Barcelona! Our very favorite Las Vegas restaurant!

Valentine's Dinner

By Frank |

Had dinner here before the Beatles 'Love' show. Excellent tapas place. Lots of choices. Not overly priced.

Firefly first visit

Food was great and service was great. The food came out pretty quick as well. Sampled several plates and they were all great.

You will leave satisfied!

By TravelMom2Too |

Enjoyed a wonderful double date night over pitchers of sangria and a wealth of tapas. We had a little bit of everything to satisfy varied palates. Always a fan of the dates and salmon toast. Everyone loves the macaroni! Ambiance was nice. DJ played techno sound so if that’s not they type of music you like, don’t go on a Friday or Saturday. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great food, good prices and a nice out.

Don't miss this great spot!

By Mandy W |

We really enjoyed the service, food, drinks, and atmosphere at Firefly! I'm not sure what to rave about first, but beyond what I just said, we were pleasantly surprised that they had music and dancing. Such a great vibe!

Happy hour

By jeffd2000s |

The 100 proof sangria is a must. Happy hour menu is inexpensive and totally worth going early for. We ordered most of the tapas, and the only complain I had was that the bacon was a bit too salty, all else being delicious.

Can’t wait to bring my brother!

By Alaskanjim |

Fantastic tapas and Spanish wine... every dish we tried was perfect! We can’t wait to bring Bigredmachine here next week.

Good for the food and ambience

By Brad R |

Great place for a date. Small plates that present well and taste good. Are they the same as in Spain? No. But they are just as good! Wrapped dates were excellent but a little too much blue cheese for me. Artichoke toast was very good. Skewers with sausage, shrimp, and beef were outstanding! Apple salad large and very refreshing. Lemon tarts with berry sauce was perfect - not too sweet and not too tart. Great ambience. Not too bright, but not too dark. Very intimate feel.

Really good

By jtfan08 |

Sangria pitcher was awesome. Great service. Easy uber pick up and drop off. Really good food. Awesome dinner before a show.

Consistency!!!

By Susie |

We’ve Been coming here about 3 years and this place is always a must go to when we’re in Vegas. The food is just so amazing, those mango ribs are to die for, off the bone good, consistency is key and they nail it every single time.

Favorite Tapas Restaurant in Las Vegas

By Utah Rich |

Firefly Tapas Kitchen & Bar on Paradise Road in Las Vegas, NV, is our favorite place to eat in Las Vegas. The tapas are always EXCELLENT and the service is quick and efficient. We found sanitation practices to be very good, all employees wearing face masks and tables, menus, etc., carefully cleaned/sanitized between patrons. Also offered "touchless" menus by scanning sku number with your mobile divice. Highly recommend making reservations, as we were leaving, we saw a number of people waiting outside on a Thursday evening. Choice of dining indoors, or outdoors.

Great Food, Great Fun!

By Zu S |

When we are in LV, Firefly is always included in our dinner highlights. We love the variety, the tapas are fun to share, the food is wonderful and the chocolate martinis are delicious. What more can you ask for.

Awesome Happy Hour

By Betsy F |

While on a work trip I needed a place for a drink, snack and to get a few things done. This place was perfect! Great happy hour menu. Friendly staff. Outdoor shaded seating and a unique menu. And great prices!! I had the stuffed dates, an empanada and the mojito!!

Fantastic ever time

By Guillermo M |

Another great visit, this is our seventh visit and it has been great every time. The food is fantastic and the service is just as good. The value this venue provides is unmatched in Vegas. If you like great food at an affordable price point this is the best in vegas

Great tapas!

By Ken |

Easy walking distance from the Virgin. Seated immediately though they weren't super busy. All the dishes I had were outstanding...artichoke toast, patatas bravas, fish sticks. Tried both the red and white sangrias. Definitely prefer the red. I can't believe my server's name is actually 'South' but that's the name on the receipt so South did an excellent job. Friendly, helpful and attentive.

Drinks and Bites

By Steve P |

Our group met here following a long day of meetings. As most of us had never been here, we started off with some great drinks from the suggestion of out waiter. Our host for the evening ordered many plates of tapas, a great selection of food. The variety was great. One thing you need to order is the bacon wrapped dates, to die for. We all ordered different drinks and the two that stood out were their take on the Moscow Mule and the one I had, The New Girl. It was awesome. The food was really really good.

Great way to try different dishes

By TNT |

We went today and ordered the grilled octopus, tuna tartare, veggie and chicken empanadas, and seafood paella. We had never had octopus before, so had nothing to compare the experience to, but my husband and I agreed it was phenomenal. I would go back and just order 2 of those for a full meal! My husband ordered the pork empanada ($5 happy hour special), but received chicken instead. He’s not one to complain and he likes chicken, so ate it anyways. He said it was ok, but liked my veggie empanada better. The salad served with the empanada really makes the flavors pop, so definitely eat them together. The tuna tartare we agreed was nothing exciting, but perfectly edible. By the time the seafood paella came out we were both pretty full, but ate a few bites before having them pack it up. The mussel I tried (I love mussels) was absolutely disgusting- the kind of gross that makes you weary to eat anymore of the dish. I tried a couple more bites but I was just so grossed out from that mussel that I don’t know that I could enjoy the rest even if it was good. My husband liked it, but said he’d try something else next time. We both drank too much the night before, so it was just water for both of us. Our total was $62 after tax but before tip, which we both agreed was a phenomenal deal for the amount and quality of the food. We will be back.

Ok but only fair.

By traveler46466 |

Ok if you stick to basic preparation such as chicken or beef. My other selections were not good — stuffed dates had to be sent back; tuna tartare too salty and cloying; decaf cappuccino was subpar; flan was mealy and awful.

Great Tapas!

By osuddg |

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Las Vegas. I have made reservations the last three times I visited Las Vegas. There are two locations, but I really prefer the atmosphere at the Paradise Rd. location. Everything I have ordered is always excellent.

mixture of ordinary to unique dishes trendy restaurant

By travelroc12 |

we split 4 tapas ..pulpo $12--exc. flavor, but sl too spicy powder. french fries -$9--good parmesan on top, , but cooled off too fast. ahi tuna--$11--excellent flavor. ham& cheese crokets $9--ordinary-, could not find the ham. service v. good worth a return

Waiter grocer and unprofessional

By Javier Vitos |

On the night of Thursday 01/02/2020 on around 8pm, my partner and I went to dinner at the Firefly restaurant, highly recommended. It turns out that after sitting at the table a man named Alex was the person in charge of serving us on several occasions. As it turns out, Mr. Alex went to the table to serve us water, the waiter in an almost rude action and bulgar threw the water base very rude to my partner and me. At that moment I thought it would be his first time and he could be nervous, but it turns out that Mr. Alex himself brings us a breadstall and puts the basket very rough and rude again ... Attitudes like that fill the good image of the I had from Firefly. I believe that the administration of the place must take measures to prevent people like Mr. Alex from serving clients, making us feel discriminated against. I just hope that this bad action of this waiter does not happen to future clients ...

Awesome experience!

By Tiffany J |

The food was so good. The service was great. We loved that there was such a variety of things to choose.

relax outdoor seating

By vile10 |

service is good, I so wanted to try the paella but there's only two of us and I know we couldn't finish it shrimp ceviche - I like it with the guacamole fried calamari - too greasy for me petit filet - the sauce is too salty, I like all the sides that come with it though chorizo clams - my favorite out of the 4, good flavor and texture

Amazing and affordable!!!!!

By Eddie M |

New and upgraded menu, everything we order was delicious, started with an apple and manchego salad my new favorite salad, stuffed dates with blue cheese wrapped in bacon the signature plate, Spanish style meatballs, shrimp ceviche, meat and shrimp skewers with an awesome green salsa and a grilled octopus Mediterranean style, well worth to step outside the strip a few blocks for an amazing and affordable dinner

Anniversary lunch

By 5flower |

We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Outstanding Spanish cuisines and service. Seldom do I give 5 stars. This is an exception. Recommendations: stuffed dates (must try), tuna tartare, lamb chop.

Excellent selection of tapas

By berniek1949 |

If your interested in small plate foods, your gonna love this place. They have a menu with so many small plate choices you'll have a tough time making choices. Our party of 8 ordered about 12 of them. Fun to share and surprisingly good. Staff was very good and friendly. Good atmosphere with good music. Reasonable prices and away from the Strip.

Thanks Many for a wonderful lunch!

By Senor_Ricardo |

I wrote a review for this restaurant years ago and felt the need to recommend it again... it's that good. The shrimp ceviche was as good as it gets, the Mushroom Montadito was fabulous, the warm spinach salad was fresh and the lamb chops (lollypops) were cooked to a perfect medium rare. If I lived in Vegas, I would eat here at least once a week! Oh, did I mention the greatest conversationist/bartender works here? He's the greatest and efficient as well and his name is Emanuel or Many for short. Stop by and have a sangria or an ice cold beer with him.... tell him the guys at the bar from Louisiana said hello.

large family get together

By Richard M |

We met my aunt, uncle and cousin. Just off the strip with parking. We had twice as much food for less than the overpriced tapas restaurant in the Venetian. I sampled about 10 different items. The peppers and the eggplant were our favorites. Best meal in Vegas by far. I will remember to eat off the strip next time I am in this dilapidated city.

Fun with a large group

By jestercrescent |

We went for work after CES load in. We had a great time. Its off the strip so its not too crowded but had a lively crowd. The ribs are great, the pork empanada's are great, everhting else was good. The Sangria was ok, and ok was the weakest thing.

Wonderful experience!

By SLTraveller2914 |

We all loved this restaurant! It looked a little dark inside so we sat outside under the covered patio with beautiful weather. We were blown away by the tasty dishes and the great service. One of the best things we did in Vegas! I had the Camarones Diablo which were served in a brown slightly sweet/hot sauce. Delicious!! One of our party had the burger which was also excellent. You won’t be disappointed! Also the prices were extremely reasonable

Not a great place for a hungry family

By 2C2_travel |

We were a family of 5 looking for something different. Firefly caught our attention. We ordered a wide variety of small plates (tapas) including a large paella. Food was very tasty and what we were looking forward, but you need to order a lot at great expense if you are hungry.

Great every time!!!

By Guillermo M |

Again with the family and the food was fantastic. Every tapa was seasoned perfectly. The only negative was that we did not go twice during the trip. Firefly is a must when in Vegas.

Great atmosphere to bring a client

By Marco M |

I have been here with my business colleagues three times in the last 2 months, and is definitely worth it each time. The great selections of tapas are fairly priced and delicious The staff are great and it’s set in a nice atmosphere and good enough to bring a clien. My favorites are the following: Fried Calamari, Steamed Mussels, Camarones a la Diabla, Scallops ā€œEscargotsā€

Great find off the Strip

By LacrosseTraveller |

Surprised was able to make reservations the day before at a prime time for dinner. But when we got there it was definitely hopping. Fantastic vibe and service was amazing. And the food was perfect, dishes to share for the 4 of us was perfect. The beef skewers were amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. But the hero of the meal was the goat cheese plate. Fantastic. Again, a little loud and I don’t mind that normally. But this was a little much we had a little problem carrying on a conversation. But all in all a great choice and will definitely be back.

Good meal

By Tom I |

My colleague recommended this place so four of us went for dinner. Food and service was excellent even though it was incredibly busy (CES week). My only criticism was that it was very loud - too many hard surfaces, could do with some soft furnishings to dampen things a bit.

So good we went back a second time!

By David K |

Outstanding. *Perfectly* cooked rare steak. Good portion sizes. Huge range of delicious tapas. Attentive and helpful waiting staff. Excellent value for money. Good atmosphere. This place was incredible! šŸ˜ Would recommend to all and next time I’m back I’ll be sure to stop in.

Nice concept but quality and service need to be revisited

By Katy L |

Environment and ambiance:the restaurant is very clean and cozy, it has this hint of Bohemian and contemporary vibe with earthy and bright colors. It feels sophisticated and relaxing at the same time. Definitely a fresh vibe. It has very good seating and a beautiful conference looking room for large parties with a very beautiful design, blush and yellow. Love the interior. The music selection is good at times, but it does not maintain a consistent vibe, it constantly changes from slow songs to very loud ones, making it difficult to have a conversation on the table. The noise of the crowd and music definitely Can stress you out if you're planning to just relax, specially on brunch time. Service: The hostesses were not welcoming at all, they are just there to sit people and couldn't care less about making the guest feel at home and by looking at the design of this place that’s what the owner intended to do. To make you feel comfortable as if you were in a relaxing house. They walked us to the table and place menus on the table and did not wait for us to seat down Ʊ, they just left. Right after the server assistant offer us water and took drink order very quickly, minutes later server came to welcome us and I believe the server was the guy that safe that first impression experience. He answered all question we had and was very patient even tho the kitchen mess up several times. Our coffee and water were not refilled as often. Food came fast, but some of the stuff taste old and cold. Food: I would say this is one of the reason I gave this place 3 stars. The food was no consistent. We ordered the filet Mignon and eggs (not really filet to us) and they overcook it and the eggs as well, we end up sending it back and replace it with chilaquiles and chicken again a failed, chicken was old and dried and the whole dish lack of flavor (we know how real good chilaquiles taste like). Another thing we order was the huevos rancheros and the eggs Benedict paella styles, this dishes for me were good but not amazing. French toast were amazing, a ten out of ten, and bacon was good. As a coffee drinker I have to say that they need to put more effort in this department as well because the first batch was cold and water down (unacceptable for a place that specializes on breakfast and brunch) overall I feel owner need to revisit the recipes and train better the cooks to get order right and hot before they hit the table. Price: If they improve service and food I feel the prices would be good, but at the level they are cooking or at least what I experienced the prices are too high for the quality of food they are serving. The dishes lack consistency for sure.

Tapas amazing

By Beth M |

We celebrated my husbands birthday at this restaurant and the food was amazing. We loved trying all of the different options. And if you are a picky eater - no fear they have plenty of options for you like Manchengo Macaroni and Cheese and Truffle french fries. We were served safely with proper precautions due to the COVID19 issue. There was even a QR on our table for a touchless menu. We will be back

Terrific Tapas

By ZMT |

One of my favorite restaurants in the valley. Grab a pitcher of sangria and order away! Bacon wrapped dates and mac and cheese are my go-to's. When the weather is colder, I also go for the tomato basil soup, which comes with a small grilled cheese sandwich. Very filling. The decor is dark and a little eclectic. Don't be surprised if this place is packed on a Tuesday night. It stays lively. Service is always good.

So ggod we ate there twice!

By Mike P |

Next door to our motel, great tapas, drinks, and especially the paella. It takes 40 minutes, but well worth the wait. Our server, Skyler, was wonderful (we asked for her on our return visit), the staff in total were very nice.

Excellent Tapa’s!

By wantluxuryforalittle |

This is the place to go for Tapa’s in Vegas! The food was excellent, drinks generous and the service very good! Only about a $10 - $13 Lyft ride from old town.

I love this restaurant immensely, great food every single time, every single item and drink. Tanya is a wonderful manager and always checks in and recognized me, along with their awesome bartender Omar. Thanks for the great service guys

Tons of selection

By When is the next vacay?? |

This place is great! Order quite a few small plates so you can try different things. And feel free to order seconds of the ones you really liked. I recommend the firefly fries, bacon wrapped dates and ham/cheese croquetas

Outstanding!

By PlanetR |

The best tapas ever! The place is enormous and lively, can be loud. The atmosphere is very cool. The menu is large with great variety if excellent food. The service is amazing especially considering the very crowded large restaurant. The staff was terrific. Love dining here for amazing tapas, excellent service and good value.

Great Find! Grown-up Casual Neighborhood Relaxing Hangout Vibe. Delicious Upscale Appetizers, Wine. Great Patio.

By Gr8OK |

Great patio experience. (Misters, fans, shade sails or heaters, as needed. Good ā€œchillā€ music and just a great place to hang around visiting with friends or a date. Menu is sort of a large assortment of upscale appetizers, large enough to share. The server helped me narrow down my wine choices, offered a sample, and the wine was a perfect choice. Except for the tail end of the rush hour traffic, it was a nicely, quieter part of town. Easy parking. Service was very friendly, attentive, but not obtrusive. Our hotel was very near there or I don’t think we would have lucked out to find this jewel.

tasty food, pleasant atmosphere

By TorInd |

Generally very tasty tapas and good atmosphere. Music and ambience totally match the food. Very pleasant place. Why not 5 stars - some tapas like clams in chorizo sauce tasted like pasta sauce, the flavour was not spanish.

Wedding Reception

By Excursion225050 |

if you're coming here in a large group I wouldn't recommend it, I chose this place for my wedding reception Nov.24 and it was a disaster even though I called the day before to confirm my reservation and final head count. When we arrived I wasn't even acknowledged for at least ten minutes, when finally brought to our table they didn't have enough places set(even though I called day before with final number) so they had to move us to the private room which was fine. When the waiter got everyone's order in and food started coming out they completely missed mine and my husband's order so by the time it did finally come out everyone else was all finished, my husband was so upset he told them it was too late for food now and not to bother so we left hungry and very disappointed :( the waiter did offer our meal on the house but we declined as we weren't going to eat while everyone else had already finished and we also never got any type of apology for what had happened

Very good food off the strip

By Trav124fun |

We went to Firefly based on a recommendation by local friends. The variety of food is amazing and the restaurant is fun. The empanadas were really good and the avocado toast was excellent.

Not even close to Spanish cuisine

By sneezenwheez |

Stale table bread, garlic bomb tomato bread, soggy bravas patats!!! Booooo!! Not even close to Spain. Did anyone ever actually go to Spain? Or just look up the recipes online? If you want to drink Sangria (tourist wine) and eat a ridiculous attempt at Spanish cuisine then head here. You can do much better at the pizza shop with fake Italian pizza....for one third the price.

Sangria and tapas

By kenneth p |

Instant ā€œgo-toā€ after initial visit. This local and tourist hangout is a must. The food isn’t always spot on, but it’s reliable and combined with the atmosphere and sangria it’s a great recommendation for most everyone

Great food and service!

By Fearless41274131074 |

I remembered this restaurant from 10 years ago was good, but today's visit was really good! The calamari was crisp, the ceviche well seasoned, the chicken tinga empanadas very tasty and the smoked salmon and mushroom toasts well made. A wise choice off the Strip and very worthy of the price. I also want to give them kudos for the social distancing of the tables -most appreciated!

Fresh new VERY LOUD space

By tom |

First time guest. So, just to be clear, the space, the food, and the service were ALL excellent. But the space is SO loud that it’s virtually impossible to have a conversation with the person seating right next to you. The music is but a mere distraction compared to the stadium volume of all the guests trying to converse. As an architect, this is a major miss by the designers who planned a stunning new space with absolutely no regard to acoustics. I’d go back in a second but NOT until they do something to quiet the space.

Location Great Happy Hour for Adults

By RoadTripper |

Atmosphere is wonderful in the bar area...well spaced tables and music kept enjoyable . Happy Hour selections are great..love the Salads though super healthy . And for special occasions the flour less chocolate cake so good . Great place to go just off strip..good value to what you get in food, service and overall experience

Popular but left me dissappointed

By LHTEPGCEO |

I went here several times in the last two years with a female companion that loved this place. The food or tapas were marginal, not much on interesting and pleasant taste, and seemed to be sloppy in presentation. Not Recommended. They want full price for a tapas:( The service was marginal, and the place was low end as to table quality and chairs.

Different Choice

By SteveSB |

First time at a tapas style restaurant. Food was good. They had one order wrong but quickly fixed it.

Great Tapas at Firefly Tapas

By John F |

Very well prepared small plates- scallops, pulpo, stuffed dates, manchega apple salad- All were flavorful and colorful. White sangria was very good. Servers were attentive and well paced. Great place off strip!!

Food was disappointing but service was great

By Jordan O |

I was really looking forward to going to Firefly given all the good reviews. However, the food was average at best. We tried multiple dishes. The tempura shrimp lacked flavor. The Mac and cheese was just ok. The chicken skewers would have been better if there wasn’t a cream sauce on top of them; it was unpleasant. The patatas bravas was a bit soggy. Additionally, it’s pretty loud so it’s difficult to hear conversation. We did enjoy some of the dishes... The filet was awesome! And the flourless chocolate cake and seasonal veggies were also very good. We were seated easily. Our server was excellent and the food was out quickly. The support staff was also good about running food and picking up old dishes. Prices were reasonable. I wouldn’t return but maybe we just picked some dishes that were subpar.

Popular Spanish Tapas in a Noisy Setting

By kumtux |

The size of the crowd attests to the popularity of this unique restaurant that is located on Paradise Boulevard. Very good food from a huge menu of small plate options, but exceedingly noisy. Spanish food is a rare offering, so this was a real treat. Prices were very reasonable and the food was well prepared and promptly served. The sangria was a delicious accompaniment to the meal. A few orders is sufficient to sample and satisfy a hungry couple.

Excellent food right off the strip, rivaling best restaurants in casinos

By Thomas Anderson |

Forget the strip, best food is around the corner! Amazing tapas, food quality is outstanding, very fast service, and great drinks.

Almost an Excellent

By BritBoyInGA |

Hard to fault; service was very good, food and value were also very good. Portions are not Spanish tapas size, but are larger. They accommodated my wife's allergies PERFECTLY, with the dishes being served with a small tag denoting special preparation. We would definitely return when next in Vegas.

Great Tapas

By Phillip H |

Next time you are in Las Vegas take a trip to Firefly restaurant if you like Spanish Tapas or if you haven't tried them good reason to go. There is something on the menu for everyone's likes or taste. Prices are good especially for Las Vegas and the service was spot on. Huge menu of different types of Tapas separated by type of food.

Delicious food, very friendly service

By Jeanne B |

This is a great place to eat. We did take out due to COVID and food was ready exactly when they said it would be. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was great.

A nice surprise for me!

By BrooklynDodgers13 |

First time visiting for me! A delightful experience! We were looking for a convenient restaurant and a light meal. My friends had been to Firefly before so it seemed like a good option. The choices were terrific! We opted for bacon wrapped figs, Goat cheese, pot stickers among others. We were all quite satisfied at the end of the meal. I look forward to going back.

Disappointing

By dk7173 |

We have been coming here for over 20 years, since they opened in a tent on the strip in front of the fashion show mall. The last couple times I have been here, the service was lacking. Tonight, the food was also subpar. The fries were soggy and inedible and were sent back basically untouched. The peppers had hard "cream cheese" in the ends that wasn't even cooked. We saw our server once the whole dinner. The entire experience was less than mediocre. So disappointing.

VERY POOR QUALITY OF FOOD AND SERVICE

By Nathalie R |

We returned to the Firefly (Flamingo) restaurant, following an excellent first experience. What a disappointment, the most ordinary service and tasteless and overcooked food. We were in the bar section and our server was the bartender, he was overwhelmed, when he came to take our order for drinks we asked for a few more minutes. And finally, we had to go directly to the bar to order our drinks. When he brought us our drinks, he made it clear to us that we were disturbing, he took our order for our first dishes. There was a misunderstanding on 1 of the dishes, but these things can happen, our English is not perfect. However, afterwards it was impossible for us to attract his attention, we had to ask the bossboy to be served. And the food was very ordinary, in no way up to our previous experience. The tartare was flavorless other than spicy, the scallops were overcooked tough and the octopus was not tender at all. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant!

A Las Vegas hide away off strip

By MIROLENA C |

It was a very pleasant experience as lately going out to eat is not a great experience! The food was outstanding, along with the service, we will be back. Red Sangria out of this world! Food very tasty, fantastic atmosphere , bathroom very , very clean! I am making reservations for next week to take other members of my family . We reside in Las Vegas and we will return with a question!

Great Food

By TravelinTexasGal |

Firefly* Tapas Kitchen + Bar is near the Las Vegas Strip in the Hughes Center. We saw Firefly on an old episode of Restaurant Stakeout, so we expected that we might have some mediocre bar food and be able to walk away saying that we ate at a restaurant that was featured on a TV show. Suffice to say, Firefly's food blew our expectations out of the water. Decor The restaurant is much nicer than I expected. The decor is warm and modern without being stuffy. I love it. Service When we first walked in, the hostesses looked at us, then exchanged a look like we didn't belong or shouldn't be there. It was uncomfortable and set a tone that we expected service to be somewhat snotty. However, the waiter, busser, and food runner were all wonderful. The runner delivering the food did it with such a sense of pride. You could tell by the look on his face that he knew he was bringing a plate of awesomeness to you. Other than the awkward hostess interaction, the only ding I would give the service is that drink refills came slower than they should, given the price point and the number of diners. Food & Drinks The Fly* margarita was very generous with the alcohol, which was very appreciated. This is my first experience with a tapas restaurant, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The food comes out in the order it comes out; I'm sure there's a logic in the kitchen (probably as simple as how long each dish takes to prepare). The stuffed dates were tremendous. They had just the right amount of kick. The tuna tartare was vibrant and refreshing. The only knock on it is that there weren't enough taro chips with it. We ordered the Chicken Tinga Empanadas. They were baked, not fried. These were the best baked empanadas I've ever had. The manchego mac 'n' cheese was rich and creamy. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate tres leches. It was one of the better tres leches cakes I've had. Summation Firefly is a great restaurant. It is perfect for groups. Since there were only two of us, it was more difficult to experience as much of the menu as we wanted. We will definitely be back and will bring some friends with us.

Always Excellent.

By Sue C. |

My husband and I always stop at the firefly whenever we visit Las Vegas. We were excited to visit the new location. The new location is bigger and more open and there is plenty of outdoor seating. On this occasion we met our friends and we pretty much tried everything on the menu. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Everything we tried was very fresh. We had a pitcher of the cucumber flavored Mojito’s for drinks. Unfortunately I do not have many pictures of the food of the food but I can assure you everything was excellent. Firefly salad was very large and plenty to go around for the four of us. A must have is always the gazpacho. Another must have is the stuffed dates. You can’t go wrong going to the firefly. This tapas restaurant is so much more reasonable than any on the strip. So if you have a car go to the firefly or take an Uber you will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back the next time we are in town.

Wedding dinner

By camack65 |

On November 24/2019 Had reservations for dinner at 7 to celebrate a family wedding. The total # of guests was to be for 24 to 30 people. When we arrived we were seated at a table that was not going to accommodate our party, the brides father was right on top of it and they moved us to a private room but still did not set the tables correctly and guest had to add an extra table and chairs. As the evening proceeded and orders were taken a few guests were missed waiter did eventually get to them . As the dinners started coming to the tables 2 at a time everyone started to eat or things would get cold. The icing on the cake was that the bride and groom were totally forgotten no apology was given . Therefore I would never recommend this restaurant.

A different cuisine but good

By Art d |

Very good choice of dishes. Calamari and grilled steak on a stick were great. The paella took awhile to cook but was tasty with clams and other seafood. Service was attentive enough.

Best. Scallops. Ever!

By Diane H |

I love scallops and was curious to try these....dipped in a delicious pesto sauce. Oh my! Since it's tapas (small plates), there are six decent size in the order. I could have eaten about five orders it was so good! All the other dishes are wonderful as well. My only OK plate was the crab cakes...have had better. But everything else (we had 13 different dishes in our group!) was superb. Highly recommend you check it out.

Top Notch Tapas

By ddmullis |

Outstanding Food & Service I recently had dinner at this restaurant with friends. They offer a wide variety of dishes on their menu focused on small plates. I highly recommend the empanadas, baked goat cheese, steak skewers and potatoes. The service for the entire meal was top notch five stars plus.

One of our favorite restaurants ever!

By Robin B |

We always come to this restaurant once or twice when in Vegas- and recommend it to anyone who is coming to Vegas! Outstanding cold/hot Tapas, amazing drinks (especially the Sangria and Mojitos). One of our favorite restaurants ever!

Always a much go-to when back in my old stomping grounds of Vegas.

By Candice |

Everything about Firefly Tapas Kitchen + Bar is on point. Their cuisine is creatively unique with amazing flavor profiles. Here are just a select few items I would highly recommend ordering: ceveiche shrimp, spicy beef salad, tierra y mar skewers, stuffed peppers. They are known for their mojitos and sangria - so much that they offer pitchers of each! My personal favorite is their regular mojito. Though, for those who prefer a sweeter cocktail, their fruit flavored mojitos taste like jolly ranchers. Firefly has your choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Both options are sure to be a fun time as the music brings an upbeat and lively. The motif brings out creativity from within any mind as it boasts the perfect balance of neutrals with vibrance while also incorporating their signature style of bold colors, geometric shapes, texture, glamor, and all-out fun vibes. This place is chalked full of many amazing backdrops that will most certainly elevate selfies to a whole other level of art itself. The atmosphere is very welcoming for all and can really draw one in to sit and chill for a while. Do yourself a favor by experiencing all that Firefly Tapas Kitchen + Bar has to offer. The more ya go, the more you'll crave their food, drinks, atmosphere, and all the fond memories that come with it. Just do it!

A Great Choice Off the Strip

By Michelle B |

It can be difficult to find reasonably priced food in Las Vegas. It can also be difficult to find something other than steaks, burgers, and pizza. Firefly is a great option with a diverse menu of small plates. Order around two per person, then decide if you want more. We enjoyed a refreshing apple salad, savory perfectly cooked mini lamb chops, and excellent broccolini. It’s about 15 minutes from the Strip for the location on Paradise.

Couldn’t possibly experience all there is to enjoy in just one visit

By BajaHoncho |

This place has excellent service and an extensive menu that surely has something for every palette. If you don’t make reservations, you may find seating at the bar which has a great home pub type feel. If you order the Pallea if takes a little longer than other dishes. You may want to order that early while settling in for a relaxing tasting journey. Bon Appetite!

Disappointing food

By AbCanada |

We were really looking forward to a dinner of tapas with friends who were visiting us. We had not previously visited this restaurant but the reviews looked good. The restaurant has ample free parking and a nice atmosphere but the food was really disappointing! Our waiter was friendly and helpful but our food was bland and tasteless. We ordered 8 different tapas to share and all the dishes were very flat with no flavor or spice. They tasted like they had been prepared in advance and simply reheated. The only dish that was slightly better was a green apple salad but again, it had very limited flavor and definitely not the freshness or quality we expected! We love Spanish food and tapas but we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Spanish tapas restaurant/bar

By Shanelle |

Spanish tapas restaurant/bar with outdoor patio seating. They’re currently open during covid for dine-in, and you can make a reservation online. We came here for weekend brunch right when they opened at 11am. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and the food came out pretty quickly. Note that it takes ~40min-1hr for the paella to cook, so give it enough lead time. Our waiter recommended 2-3 tapas per person, but I think 6 tapas for a party of four is enough, assuming you get the paella. Here’s a breakdown of what we ate: Plate of Manchego Cheese and Serrano Ham: straightforward; love how Serrano ham just melts in your mouth. Solid choice for a cold tapa. Scallop Escargot: comes in 6 with plenty of garlic and butter like the real deal. You can dip the complimentary bread in the sauce if you have some leftover. Get this if you like seafood. Stuffed Dates: dates with nuts and covered with bacon/sweet sauce. Came with 5 dates. Only get this if you like sweet things. Tortilla a la EspaƱol: I loved eating this dish when I lived in Madrid, but unfortunately this dish was a bit dry, maybe because the egg was over cooked. I’d pass on this. Fried calamari: The serving size was a pleasant surprise as it was more than I expected, and the aioli sauce it came with was good. I liked it. Chicken Tinga Empanada: it was a bit disappointing that there’s just one empanada cut into half, with a side of salad with a citrus dressing, but the filling was good at least. Pass. Chicken and Mushroom Paella: we added chorizo for an additional $4, but i wish they put more chorizo. They were cut very finely, but otherwise I would highly suggest getting a paella. Very moist and tons of veggies. We also got a pitcher of sangria, which was good and not too sweet. Credit cards are accepted and free WiFi is available. There’s a small parking lot on-site. Overall, this was a tasty place to grab a meal when you’re with a group.

Tapas are great and the Pyaya is Incredible

Always a great experience enjoying various tapas while the pyaya is cooked. There is a lot to the pyaya so be sure to share it.

Bad paella!

By Blanca Aguilar |

Pros: divine attention, everyone very helpful Against: the food!!! The fatal paella! Coincidentally, that's why we arrived, because they had told us that it was exceptional and we came across beaten rice that was excessively seasoned with paprika! Which paella has paprika??? Anyway! Very disappointing

Do not go solo. Treated me like gutter trash.

Went alone. Wouldn't seat me even though they had open tables. Hemmed and hawed about a long wait. I said, okay, I'll wait. Wouldn't put me on the wait list. They just just kept pushing me toward the bar and making awkward excuses, which made the whole exchange rather uncomfortable.

I love this place, Paellas

Great Tapas without the Vegas Strip Prices

By airnomad5 |

Came in during happy hour (M-F @ 3-6pm) and ordered one of each of the happy hour tapas. It was filling for 5 people, and the favorites were the croquetas and the apple salad. We also ordered two pitchers (one mojito and one red sangria) and the mojito was my favored drink here. Seating outside is nice, and definitely a return when we're back in the area. Good service, good food, good atmosphere. Background music is pretty good too and not too loud. Parking in the rear is ok size.

Good food, poor service, overpriced

By AndGeo01 |

Can’t fault the food, which was excellent - both the tapas and the house burger. But the service was very disappointing. We waited 20 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. Dishes were brought randomly, with various delays. Drinks service was slow and erratic. And then we were invited to tip on top of a compulsory 20% service charge (for a group of 7). Made it very poor value and a disappointing experience. Would not go back

Hats off to Jaime!

Where to start.... I wish I could give 6 stars!!! Our food was outstanding - it was quick, tasty and the portion sizes were perfect. The octopus was by far our favorite and there’s a reason it is a popular dish! Our server Omar set the mood with superb enthusiasm and gushed with recommendations when we asked for them. As we work in the restaurant industry we asked if we could see the kitchen and we were blown away. With no notice given, head chef Jaime Villanueva happily toured us around his kitchen. It was pristinely clean, the chefs were all smiling, their fruit and veg was fresher than a supermarket. Everything was so organized - my OCD has never been so content (I’m not just saying this, I do suffer from OCD). Chef Jaime was so enthusiastic to show us around his kitchen and answer our questions, and we can’t thank him and the rest of the kitchen staff enough. We will definitely be back and recommending to everyone back in Bermuda!

Firefly Tapas , Paradise Road, Las Vegas

By sunnydii |

My sister and I were highly recommended Firefly Tapas by a friend. This is the newest location. We went at Happy Hour since we had a show to attend at 6 pm. Very friendly and attentive to us throughout our meal and we very helpful with choices from the menu. Everything was balanced and complementary!! From drinks to dessert!! Highly recommend this restaurant. Mostly adults.

Fun place to go with a group!

By PAC Texas |

I usually hate tapas places - or especially restaurants who say they have "small plates" because you normally end up paying a lot for a tiny bit of food. So I was dreading coming here. However, my friend picked it out for a group of girls and I went along. I was very pleasantly surprised when we ordered many, many dishes and a pitcher of sangria and my bill was only $35.20 with tip included. Some of our favorite options were Patatas Bravas (definitely try), Baked Goat Cheese, Albondigas (meatballs), Avocado toast. One pitcher of Sangria was enough for 6 people (it's sweet so we all had one giant glass). Recommend as a fun night out!

Delectable !!!

This is the first time we've tried Firefly in this location. It's been such a long time since we visited them that they were in the building a few doors down . NOT DISAPPOINTED. Over the top in every aspect. Will return even with a small appetite . The plates are perfectly proportioned for sampling with others or enjoying alone. If you really enjoy a certain plate ......have 2 of the same. Don't forget the SANGRIA . Specially made days before you drink it. I will return much sooner next time than it took us to return this time .

A must try in Las Vegas

By VSimm |

Great food for sharing with reasonable prices. The bacon wrapped stuffed dates are addictive. Delicious paella worth the wait besides you can have some fabulous sangria and tapas while waiting.

Very relaxed place for good tapas

By Dneuburger |

First let me say that the sangria here was delicious. We ordered a number of appetizers and everything was delicious. I don’t recall what I ate but I do remember they had gluten-free options. Did I mention they had delicious sangria? I can tell you that the food was excellent and that it is a place that you can go for an enjoyable meal. Enjoy the sangria too!

Great service. Great prices. Great food. This place is close to strip so you will save eating off strip. The apple salad was really good. Had a lamb dish and another dish.
