Nice place right in the heart of Venice beach. Reasonable prices and the portions are big! The food was very tasty. You seat yourself but the server get your order on the table.

I arrived in Venice after an 11hr flight and being awake for over 24hrs. Too say I was hungry was an understatement. My host recommended the Firehouse and I was glad she did! Despite being a Friday there was no waiting, I turned up, sat down, ordered and ate. A Gorgeous cheese burger & too many fries later I left happy. Will definitely return over my 7 day stay, and take some pics next time. Was too tired and hungry on this initial meal! Definitely worth a pop in đ

We had an amazing "Post workout dinner". Great lean and healthy food without hidden fats and sugar. Because of that the food doesn't taste super tasty but for me it was exactly what I expected!

I have enjoyed many breakfasts, but found lunches very ordinary. The sandwiches seemed like something made at home, yet more expensive.

Conveniently located 3 min walk from Golds Gym, Venice Beach and just a few blocks back from the beach this is the second time i have been here with family whilst on vacation. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. It serves healthy food alongside more traditional diner food. Following a strenuous workout at the iconic Golds Gym we headed here - I had the rice bowl with chicken, broccoli, onions and red pepper. It really was nice to have something wholesome rather that the more mainstream junk food you get whilst on vacation and across the US. This restaurant is well known in the bodybuilding community and has been frequented by many famous body builders and movie stars in the past. It will always feature on my list of eateries when I am in town.

Great staff - friendly and helpful. Not far off the boardwalk and near hotels and b and b's. Good choice of beer and food.

Had a really enjoyable meal. Food tasted good, was reasonably priced and the service was friendly and efficient. Had a good selection of draught beers too. Also had free wifi

First off the food is mediocre at best for breakfast, I still cant figure out how pancakes are as tough as a frisbee. Eggs undercooked no fresh juices, and unfortunately poor service to boot. It's a great location, but needs someone to come in and make it a winner.

This is a great place for brunch/breakfast. There is a nice little courtyard with a shady spot under the tree. The brunch menu is huge with lots of veggie and healthy options. I had the Firehouse breakfast with veggie sausages, which was very nice. Huge and very filling! My sister had the omelette - equally huge! We will be going back for the pancakes which looked nice and fluffy and thick.

A little bit on the high side but the food is delicious and I always come out very very full! perfect spot

we went for dining 2 days ago, and we got good food, good service and nice enviroment. The bodybuilder menu is attractive and not expensive. The prices are affordable and we will be back for sure!

not really impressed.. food not particularly special. kindof place where i'd like to drink lots of beer with dinner

The fist time I went to this it was in the 80âs I just went last month again and still the same I love to have breakfast or brunch with friends Firehouse is the right place.

The service was great from the first waiter, he even allowed us to taste the different beers before we decided. But the âmain waiterâ was everything but servceminded. The food was great. Could come back if Im in the area

I've eaten here a handful of times & each time, the meals have been unspectacular, but reliably tasty. I enjoy the casual atmosphere, too. Like my favorite neighborhood pub.

I always visit here when I am in Los Angeles ! I have been for some 15yrs! It just gets better and better. The stack of pancakes with maple syrup is just amazing and the staff canât do enough for you. The prices are reasonable considering itâs such a Mecca for bodybuilders etc. But I love it here! Thanks for another terrific meal

If you' looking for horrible service and terribly overpriced food, than you need to come to the Firehouse on Rosé Ave in Venice, Ca. Two salads and a burger... $42. And, BTW, don't expect any substitutions. I was wanting the Tandori chicken... $16... But they would replace the rice with anything. Seriously, find another place to eat.

great, healthy food

Quaint restaurant, always full! Spent a lot of time here eating the chicken breast and sautéed spinach in preparation for my show in vegas. Close to Golds Gym, a bodybuilders paradise. Marcel enjoyed the bodybuilders Breakfast! Decor that of an old fire station! Great character.... Really cool! I love it!!!!

I visited the Firehouse once after the beach and i found the food to be average at best, the ambience mediocre, and the service substandard. i would never go again

The firehouse on Main St. in Venice is the perfect spot for a Sunday morning, heartwarming, hang-over curing, breakfast! Large, but not too large portions, cool patio out back, bright and cheery, and the food is great! Love this place.

We choose this restaurant for a brunch upon arrival at Venice Beach. My eggs Benedict were perfect. The hollandaise sauce was delicious, but a little bit on the spicy side. My husband had one of the breakfast burritos and he really liked it. It was huge! The kids also ate everything they ordered: chicken fingers, scrambled eggs and pancakes. Service was fast and friendly. Great experience overall.

The menu offers an interesting variety including a selection for bodybuilders. (It's very near Gold's Gym). It's open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Happy Hour. Prices are competitive. The food is fresh and well prepared. Had the Chef's Salad with the low cal ranch dressing for lunch. I couldn't eat it fast enough. Just the right amount of everything. There is colorful patio which is perfect to get away from the busyness of the street. The background music made me think I was somewhere in Mexico. Service is excellent. And yes, it is really housed in a former firehouse. Very much worth checking out.

Close to our accommodation we enjoyed Happy hours and great food -staff were obliging and friendly . Don't miss this clean friendly cafe

Fire house is a very Nice place; we went there for lunch once and for dinner. It has typical American food. Very Nice Staff, good Quality and very Nice Staff. Relaxing atmosphere!

So, this place is interesting because part of it is typical cafe, then part of it is a sushi bar. We went in the evening, for drinks. They had a great beer and drink selection, but the menu was real odd mix of things. The problem was the fish smell. It was like sitting in a fish market. So, we had our drinks and left. Also, while the atmosphere is very casual, the prices were high....most draft beers were over $6, and mixed drinks were over $7.

The prices are double than what the trip advisor menu shows. The nachos were a pathetic plate of chips with beans and cold cheese for $14! Overpriced food must be a California thing.

Sat @the bar and had calf rolls which were prepared right in fro r of us . These were the freshest and most delicious I ever had . Happy hour till 7 pm that is the way to go . Multiple tv's

Near Golds Gym, loaded with body builders delights. High in protein, low in fat, and offers whatever else you may need. Sat on open patio and enjoyed the activity that went by. Reasonably priced based on the LA norms. Just be careful to check where you park - they took out meters and put in those pay stations that can be a bit hidden.

I usually come for breakfast on the weekends. Good food, a bit expensive for breakfast though. My favorite is the Body Builder combo that comes with scrambled egg whites, and a choice of protein (I like the Italian Turkey Sausage Patty), and choice of carbs (I love getting the multi-grain pancakes with blueberries). Parking in this area can be an issue, but The Firehouse has a couple private lots of their own, including one small lot on the side of the building, and another across the street next to the dry cleaner.

The Firehouse serves amazing breakfast and the menu is so varied that there's something for everyone. My fiancé and I live in the US and travel around the country a lot, and the breakfast we had at the Firehouse was the best American breakfast we've had. I chose the Firehouse breakfast and my fiancé had the bodybuilder breakfast, both with Angus steak. The multi-grain blueberry pancakes that came with the bodybuilder breakfast were especially good. We're originally from Northern Europe, and to our taste American breakfast often has too much carbs and not enough protein. At the Firehouse it was easy to have a protein rich meal. There were also vegetarian protein options. The restaurant is close to the famous Gold's Gym at Venice and the menu has been constructed with nutrition conscious customers in mind.

Great diner and good service and yummy food - all good! Would definately recommend! They even have a menu for bodybuilders!

We liked the food and the place, but when we payed happend things we did not like. First the waiter gave us bill with 18% service charge in it. When I asked about it, he replied that it comes automatically this close to the sea. This is a lie. Our first night in LA, so we gave him our CC. He took it and came back with a receipt, witch said he had taken the money from the bank account not from credit. Never asked what we wanted. We canât recommend the place :(.

We went there to watch sports. Wasn't that I surprised to find Excellent sushi and sashimi. The beer was excellent and bartenders were excellent. I highly recommend you to go to this wonderful spot.

Parking is a bear, but you will find something. If you are on the street mind the signs. The Firehouse is so darn good. Each breakfast and lunch item is outstanding. You will love it all. The portions are fair to large. Their menu is great. There are a lot of options. You can even have sushi and it is very tasty. The service is very nice and the locals are super friendly and can tell you what to check out next. I love the place and you will as well and you won't leave broke. Enjoy.

Really enjoyed our visit; the menu was huge! This meant that all 3 of our children found their favourite food and were happy. The service was excellent, as soon as our drinks were empty, they were refilled. We would definitely dive here again, there was so much to try. The meatball sandwich was particularly good.

Step back a couple of blocks from the tourist boardwalk and eat at the local bar and restaurant the Firehouse. The Chilli is as good as it gets and wash it down with beer and a bourbon and escape Kaleđ

We ate dinner and breakfast here. Both times the service was brilliant, the food was scrumptious and served quickly! I would definately come back here and may well before we leave. Thanks guys. Great menu too!

We had diner in this old fire house. When you get in you don't know if you are in a bar or a restaurant. The food was good and we especially enjoyed the pasta.

First this place has a cool vibe and very unique as it was an old firehouse. Food was exceptional, I got the salmon and my friends got the half chicken and said it was great. Server was friendly and did a great job. Prices were a good value.

good bar. simple food, great service. almost a diner with a bar, vibrant and cheerful atmosphere, friendly staff

loved the fact that they hawe their own menues for bodybybuilders/fitness people.there is also a bar in the ewening..the mexican woman that always served breakfast deserves a big plus sign for here exxelent service..!!

We discovered the Firehouse after leaving a yoga class across the street. Enjoyed enormous omelette and burrito and saw wonderful salads pass by. A bodybuilders' menu features a wide range of steak and eggs combinations at very reasonable prices. Never saw so many options for breakfast meats: bacon, turkey sausage, italian turkey, buffalo. Will return after next yoga class!

We brought the dogs into the back where there is a small outside patio. This is both good and bad. Very nice to be outside and it is shaded by a big tree, bad because this big tree keep dropping tree stuff into your food and drinks. Service was awesome, food was plentiful, food was not as tasteful as other places. Prices are higher than standard. This is often visited by BIG bodybuilders from Golds gym. Ok place but I would rather go to other places.. There are so many choices out there.

I had Benedict eggs for breakfast but no one told me that it was with bacon! I am a vegetarian! I was really disappointed. But I was back for lunch and it was really tasty and healthy! I had plant based meat, spinach and pasta. Quite expensive but thatâs Venice!

The atmosphere is on the bar side, but, nevertheless, the food was super yummy. I had the "Bob Bowl" : brown rice with 2 6oz steaks cut up, sauteed onions and red bell peppers and I added some broccolli. I know, sounds like a lot, but it was perfect. I did not eat all of the rice, but it was super duper delicious. There are burgers and such, but the body builder menu is the way to go: clean protein and veggies available in loads of combos.

Went there for breakfast. The service was fast and courteous and the food was traditional breakfast servings. The nice twist about the place is of course that it's an old firestation which the kids loved. For culinary experience there are many other places in the neighborhood that I would choose over this but all in all this is a decent place that does the job.

Cute restaurant with good food. Recommend the breakfast plates.

This restaurant used to have an excellent and professional "real" sushi chef and sushi bar, which was cool as it's not really a Japanese restaurant. Then he quit and perhaps the dishwasher moved up to be the new cook. The sushi was disgusting..even the rice was all wrong, overly mushy and sweet. And he did not understand my salad order or perhaps it was the server who just didn't get it. The service is very slow, unprofessional and disorganized, the drinks are expensive and the mediocre food is over priced.Don't go.

We were trying to go to Piccolo or Superba as both had been recommended. Unfortunately, neither was open for lunch so we stumble into the Firehouse. It was interesting reading the high protein section of the menu and seeing the huge body builders from Golds coming in and eating enough for a family of four, but the food itself was pretty average: the ingredients were low quality, high volume. The service and the atmosphere was all very average too. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it. It's a shame because the venue has so much character and the whole place has much more potential than is being realised today.

The breakfast menu is familiar to all Americans, certainly nothing that stands out either negatively or positively. Definitely a local character, fun with antique toys on the shelves. The chairs are miserable and does not invite any long sitting.Today when coffee connoisseurs reigns, it becomes difficult for the Firehouse to attract new customers

amazing service from the guys here .... great happy hour, excellent chilli fries and nice atmosphere ... we went several times on the way back from venice beach, and was always happy. they let kids in too, which not all on venice beach agreed to ... so thumbs up guys !

Had breakfast with my partner. Good food, friendly service & reasonable prices. The courtyard is a good spot for relaxing in the shade

This place is a Venice institution ! Great tasting real food, nice staff friendly clean, a real taste of Venice Beach

Staying on Pacific Drive about a ten minute walk from here. Went for breakfast twice, both times speedy, attentive and smiley service. Coffee arriving immediately. Had omelettes with various bits and pieces. Very tasty. Would I go back, yes definitely, we did!

The location of this restaurant was awesome - right off of Main St in Venice area, across from the "Clownerina." And right down the street from the big binoculars building. The staff was very very friendly, and took care of us in a quick manner - and we were there at 6PM on a Saturday night, so expected long wait. We had loaded nachos as an appetizer, and it was really good. I had a Gold's Gym rice bowl, and unfortunately, it did not have much flavor - chicken didn't have much seasoning. I thought maybe it was the healthy nature of my dish - but my wife ordered a cheeseburger, and it too did not have much flavor. So all in all, really cool place, great location - food was very reasonably priced (for Venice / Santa Monica) - but the quality of the food could have been much better.

Came here for dinner on Monday and for breakfast on Wednesday. Dinner was good. Usual fare. Breakfast omelettes were a good option as I had one and one of my companions had the banana pancakes which she enjoyed

The food wasn't overly delicious, but comforting (burgers, sandwiches, salads) and nice for a nice and easy sit down meal before or after going to the beach with your family.

Not impressed with food or service. I felt like I wasn't cared for. Great location. I can ride my bike there but I don't anymore due to lack of desire.

I had a training session with Rob Riches at the Mecca: Gold's Gym in Venice Beach It was highly recommended by Rob so I went to check it out. Great ambiance it was an old fire station. They still have memorabilia son the walls and a hanging firefighters ladder on the ceiling. The best thing about this place is their menu! They have a bodybuilder's menu yeehah! No more cheat meals for those who are counting their calories. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I ordered the bodybuilder's lunch The food was excellent and big servings I didn't finish my pasta.

This meal was amazing! So fresh and tasty. We got there about an hour before the serving of food stopped. We werenât made to feel any trouble and the service was fantastic. Love the decor and the atmosphere with the building being an old fire station. Lots of old fire fighter memorabilia displayed, love the design and layout. Menu is amazing with lots to choose from and customisation. My chicken burger was incredibly fresh, massive portion and felt very light and healthy which was refreshing. Highly recommend this place. Bar looked great, with a sports bar vibe and a wide range of drinks available.

Sat outside with friends and had dinner. Surprised there was a sushi chef who prepared both great sashimi and sushi. Excellent draft beer selection and service to make for a nice evening. Should try The Firebouse.

It is a short walk to get to this great restaurant from the beach, and it is worth it. The service and the atmosphere is great and friendly. I looked up this place on the internet and I was drawn to its huge menu options. We started of with Chips and Salsa. Later, my husband had the Tuna Salad Platter, I had the Fish Tacos with pico de gallo which were awesome. Both of my teenagers had Fish and Chips, they loved them. The food portions were huge and everything was delicious. I want to go back again!!!

We had breakfast on a Sunday. Walked in at 9 and had no trouble getting a table for 6. Can eat in or out. In our party we had pancakes, omelettes, and scrambles. The pancakes were the best. All were good but not fabulous. Would return if convenient.

We went for a dinner with the kids and was really good and tasty, I took the seared salmon and my husband the half chicken with steamed veggies and rice! Service was good and warm! Sushi are good too, made at place. Really good place!

We have just returned from a trip to Venice Beach and visited the Firehouse at least 4 times for breakfast/brunch. The menu is vast, you can eat as health consciously or not so healthily as you chose! The food is delicious and really good value for money. The coffee is amazing and coming from a non UK coffee drinker that says something! Unlike England your coffee cup gets topped up several times for just the one price! We had the blueberry pancakes, various other pancakes the french toast and the breakfast sandwich with hash browns. All were really tasty and the portions really generous. We just wish we had been staying on longer so we could have gone for lunch time meals too. The staff are really friendly and it's a great atmosphere in there. Cant recommend it enough. We look forward to a return visit on our next trip to LA.

Family of 3 enjoyed our meals here. Good selection on the menu and healthy options for the muscle beach goers!! Our daughter had half a chicken with rice and what a massive portion it was!! Rest of us had teriyaki salmon and teriyaki chicken with rice and very much enjoyed also. Rice was cooked lovely, friendly staff, reasonable prices and we loved the ambience and history of the place having been a former fire station. Was quite quiet when we called in the afternoon which is a shame as it's just a short walk from the beach and probably has much nicer food!! I hope it's much busier at other times of day as deserves to be!!

Love this place for breakfast. Lots of good food bodybuilder's hangout. I'm a fan of their combo breakfasts such as pancakes bacon and eggs. Be sure to bring your appetite.

We popped in here for a quick bite before we headed home. The menu is extensive and they were very open to substitutions. The portions are huge though, so you may want to consider sharing. I ordered the turkey scramble and could only eat half. The sauce is incredible - I wish I had remembered to purchase some on the way out.

We had a late breakfast/lunch and everyone in the family had something they like. Good service, tasty food. Second time we have been there and loved it both times.

Cool bar and grill on Main st. Booths or bar stools and some great regional brews and tasty burgers, fries and slaw.

Our first trip overseas, we found the Firehouse and ate here 4 out of 5 nights while in Venice. We found the restaurant to have a great atmosphere and the staff were all so friendly! This is now a place we have to go to everytime we visit California! The food was great and not a long wait for meals. Drinks were served and refilled in the best time frame!

Great place for breakfast. Nice atmosphere. Service is always good. Eggs Benedict and coffee and I'm good to go. Free WiFi is a plus, since I always have my laptop. Keep your eyes peeled for the creepy ballerina clown on the CVS building across the street!

We had a very enjoyable late breakfast/brunch when we had a family visit to Santa Monica in October. The food and service was very good and the old photos and momentos around the place were very interesting.

We got the angus burger and it was very good. Our waiter was very polite and we got our food very fast. This place was originally a firehouse. You can still see ladder hanging from the ceiling and hats displayed on the wall. The original doors are also used to let guests in. Would definitely come back to this location during our vacation here in California.

Body builder's options add interesting but appropriate touch at the muscle beach. There were some muscle builder type patrons for sure.

Visited here with a friend on a mid week evening with no reservation. We were politely asked to wait at the excellent bar for about 15mins and were then seated in a cool booth. The menu is upscale but not pretensious and I ordered the Fillet Mignon, which was done exactly to my liking with fresh veg etc. This place is seriously good, the food is excellent and the service could not have been better...the surroundings are pretty cool aswell, a converted firehouse. Who would have thought??

This was a nice little place we tried for Breakfast on Saturday morning. The huevos rancheros were really good. Very friendly staff and we loved the tree in the courtyard dining area.

We came in early one morning for breakfast. Great service, great food. A little pricier than we expected but love to come back

We are here as our first breakfast in LA after 5 weeks in South/Central America. The food was nice and it was great getting crispy bacon after rice and beans. Service was good and the coffee was great (espresso).

Had a nice time sitting outside watching the Venice crowd go by. Excellent beer list, and surprising good sushi. Great service but limited parking on the street. Nice to browse the inside with their historical pictures of the firehouse. You cannot miss this place, on the corner of Rose and Main.

the food was terrific, portions were large, they offer the bodybuilder's menu. good clean menu choices, wonderful staff

I didn't liked it, we ate there once on a Sunday around 4pm ish, the place was empty, the service was not so good, the food was bad even the french fries were weird cut and tasted frozen. Not recommended. Maybe others have different experience.

We had dinner here and the food was really good. Loved that we could get something without french fries. Good friendly service but was a little on the expensive side, and kid friendly.

Firehouse on Rose is on a busy intersection and visible by many. We decided to give it a whirl because of their burger offerings which included Buffalo. We sat outside where the bums can come up to the fence and beg for food - which did happen twice while we were there. (I know; it's Venice and the bums come with the territory; however this didn't happen to us at any other time we were there.) The service was lousy and slow and we felt like we were keeping them from going home; it was a little after 8PM when we sat down. I ordered a Buffalo burger, medium rare and it was terrible. It was more like an over well done and I should have sent it back, however the staff's outward attitude made me think twice about that. My husbands burger was just "okay" and my daughter didn't even eat 1/2 of hers. Add a few beers to our meal and our tab was $95. I don't mind spending it if the food, atmosphere and service are worth it but in the case, absolutely not! Perhaps their breakfast fares better, I see some good reviews here, however; we'll never go back and our breakfast choice will be Flake, not this place.

Portions are large and food is good. We opted for salads which were huge. Service is fast, maybe a little too fast as bill is presented without asking if we wanted anything else! We had to reorder coffee as the server wrongly presumed we had finished. Service charge is added automatically at 18% so watch out.

This is a quite a nice restaurant in a brilliant location. It has a basic children's menu and no dessert menu although a sophisticated regular menu compensates for that. It has a warm atmosphere with a well stocked bar at the centre

Wonderful old firehouse with great vibes. Good selection of beers and outdoor seating as well. Excellent comfort food, and they recently got their Vegeburger back. MMMM. Great service and atmosphere. Eat a great breakfast here often and for years!

Lot's of Bodybuilders, Fitness & yoga fans and celebrities go there after working out at Gold's Venice nearby........ tons of pretty good low fat dishes in the breakfast and lunch menu! Also: After 5pm the Firehouse offers some fantastic sushi for a very good price!

Great lunch menu, burgers, baguettes, fish and chips - something for everyone. Generous servings. 2 blocks from Venice Beach.

This was a nice stop for breakfast. The service was fast and the staff friendly. I liked the sausage. Worth a try!

food and service were both good. with shuttle to and from JW Marriotte. driver was hospitable and friendly, Gave us a tour of downtown on the way back to the hotel . I ordered meatloaf and it was excellent. Nice ambiance.

We had been looking forward to eating at the Rose Cafe, but it was closed when we got there. We were bummed because it was closed for renovations (I hope). A friend of mine had told me about the Firehouse so we went there instead for brunch. It is a great place to eat if you are a body builder- lots of egg whites. They were kind and made the tofu scramble for me without the eggs and they were good and they were delivered quickly. Definitely a good alternative to the Rose Cafe, nice, clean food, cute atmosphere, lots of locals.

Went to the Firehouse with my daughter and her husband and my two grandkids this past weekend. Cute place not far from the beach, but expensive for breakfast. One oatmeal, one breakfast sandwich, three omelettes, hot chocolates and coffee for $77.00. I will say that Jose, our server, was very pleasant, but I would have to think hard and fast before going back.

My friends and I biked here from Marina Del Rey, and we're really pleased that we did. The restaurant itself is smaller/quaint but very charming. The staff there were nice and the outdoor patio/eating area was comfortable and offered great views of the busy nearby streets. The food was superb: I ordered an omelette with hash browns and it was fresh and tasty. The mimosas are delicious but by friend was not impressed by the Bloody Mary. The men in our group shared a pitcher of beer (I cannot remember which kind) and said it was delicious, too. Overall it was a great dining experience and probably one of the best meals we had during our quick weekend trip. Firehouse is a hot choice in my book.

love the onion rings

We had dinner at the Firehouse. There is a very interesting menu, many options from healthy to not so much :) it has a local feel, food is tasty and the people are nice.

We came here on a Tuesday evening by accident because Rose across the street was full. The food was not spectacular, but it fit our needs. The buratta with the caprese was super fresh, which was very nice! The service was quick and the place looks pretty cool and does justice to being a former firehouse.

I enjoy happy hours here after work. The drinks are generous and well priced. The bar food, whether at the bar or tables, is great. I have yet to try the restaurant but for a quick drink and a snack that ranges from traditional American finger foods to sushi - you won't be disappointed.

Came here for breakfast before a day on Venice Beach. Service was quick, but then there weren't many people in there. Breakfast was nice, I had the firehouse breakfast, 2 eggs, english muffin, with sausage and very crispy hash browns. Prices not particularly cheap. Location okay, just off the beach.

Great firemans Chilli đ¶ and beautiful fresh warm tortillas. This is the bar locals go for a brew as it's a few blocks back from the tourist strip and they have that great tex mex and fresh Socal produce and a very generous serve.

We desperately needed a beer and something to nibble after a long walk up and down the beach. The places on the front were double busy so we were about to head in a few streets and catch an Uber back to our rented house when we saw the Firehouse. We were not disappointed - great selection of IPAs and small and large plates. We each had a pint of 805 and San Diego and had the hot and spicy boneless chicken pieces - absolutely gorgeous! In fact, we had a second plate. Would like to try other food and beers. Very friendly and swift service.

The food was so good and good service. The firehouse is so cool and makes you feel so welcome. Nice fireman ladder over the bar

While walking on Saturday morning in Venice Beach, found The Firehouse Restaurant & Bar. It located at the intersection of Rose Ave and Main Street. It is a former firehouse converted into a restaurant. It is about a 6 minute walk from Venice Beach/Candle CafĂ© & Grill. The Restaurant has a load of old Firehall memorabilia located within the eating area. Overall, had a great meal. Portions are a good size. Service was great. Will try again the next time Iâm in Venice Beach.

Found this place by accident, Happy Hour menu looked good (& cheap) so we ate here. Overall good food, the $5 burger (+ $1 for cheese), sausage/peppers in a bun, and satay's were good (cheese quesadilla not so much).

Breakfast was very good, bad side you have to find a parking spot and pay for parking and worry about getting a ticket, orange juice was costly and small but good, they have organic coffee, eggs are very fresh, I love this place

The super casual diner setting, but beautiful wooden clad red exterior is eye catching. A short stroll from muscle beach! The menu was a vast array of protein / breakfast / lunch options and truly catered for the A: hungry and B: choosy bodybuilder I didn't have time to think too hard because if been killed in a 2.5hr chest workout. I opted for a signature dish of massive buttermilk pancakes, sausages and poached eggs. Maple syrup with the pancakes obv! Outdoor seating was nice! Service was somewhat NO FRILLS but it was a great price and you won't find that stuff in London that's for sure Wouldn't return!

We were hoping for a first-rate breakfast and received an average, very so-so breakfast. Both the food and service were average.

Great place to go with your friends if you want to get loud and rowdy. Good food. Fun atmosphere.

very expensive for average food spend almost $100 3 of us for breakfast! the place look nice but the food is really not impressive
Firehouse in Venice, Los Angeles, Ca
Our layover in LAX airport was very long, so we met with some friends who took us to this place for an early dinner. This is a restaurant on a corner in Venice Beach, not on the main road, but traffic seemed quite intense at moments. True also that we sat outside almost in front of the traffic light and it was Saturday evening. Food was very good and I would come back here if I lived here.
