Rude manager, terrible experience

By Elaine M |

I couldn’t even try, after an hour of waiting the system crashed and they put me again at the end of the line for another hour of waiting. We tried to talk to the manager, to solve the problem but he was extremely rude. It was a very frustrating…we will never come back!

We were there April 1st and the food was FANTASTIC!! I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. I had Shrimp & Grits with a Mimosa

The girls Brunch

By Ivonne S |

We had to wait approx 45 minutes to be seated and took an additional 25 minutes to be served. The wait is well worth it ! They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch items.

Great Ambiance, great meals, great staff! Wait time is a bit overwhelming but well worth it! Lots of people dining must say something about this place! A must to do place! GetSome!!

Nice and easy

By Isabelle L |

We went for brunch. Had the French toasts and the waffles. Both were very good, the waffle was quite fluffy, I suspect that they beat their egg whites separately. Service was efficient and pleasant. Decor is vaguely industrial inspired but in a good way. Menu is varied and prices reasonable. We will return.

My happy breakfast place

By Denise H |

Anytime we come to Florida (usually on the West coast) we go to a First Watch for our favorite breakfast. Today our experience was at a new location. Raoul was a wonderful greeter, host, server & conversationalist. He's pleasant & interested in having some conversation and always has a smile on his face. Next time you head to this location....ask for Raoul!!

Consistently Good

I am so thrilled this location opened! I first went to the one in Boca, and then to Pembroke Pines! I was wondering when they were going to come South. If you are looking for a hearty healthy breakfast this is the place! I’ve done reviews on all locations before and would say nothing but the best for this location also. Everything I had was great & of course the best part is that there are so many healthy options. I am also happy to see the place packed meaning that people are really seeking healthy options. The couple next to us drove from Downtown! This is definite yes!!

Disappointed after my first visit at this location, especially after enjoying an experience in Tampa a couple of years ago. I had Eggs Benedict Florentine and I hate to say this, but it was completely forgettable. Maybe this new location is still working out the kinks, but service was slow, the food was unremarkable, and the manager swiping our payment never asked how our meal was, our server did not ask if we wanted refills on drinks, and I caught a server sneaking a hit of whipped cream straight from the can! Not at all what I had hoped to experience after such a a good time at a location in Tampa. There is room for improvement and I am willing to try again in a few months - maybe a soup and sandwich will be a better bet!

Great breakfast place

Don't judge by curb appeal, very nice inside, with interesting specials and friendly staff. really enjoyed the spice they offered on the fresh fruit

ManuelV

wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch. I wished first watch would be open until later for like diner. they only open for breakfast and lunch until 2:30 in Miami. we have been to FW's in Boca open till 3:00. sandwiches are great tomato bisque is a most and all breakfast items are super. close your eyes point to the menu and pick you wont be disappointed. but if you go and are waiting to get served. you MOST have a kale tonic they have a new one now the blue booster is also good and the morning sunrise all good but my all time favorite the kale tonic. when it comes to service is good but the place can and thus get packed and service can be a little slow expected. I will confess something to the readers we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the waitress that took care of us this past sunday the place was packed like usual. but she managed to take care of her tables at a steady pace without any body having to wait very long for their order. and always having enough time to chat and say something nice to every body at all her tables. I will definitely be back and will be willing to wait as long as it takes for to serve our table. her name is Yanny she is by far one of the best waitresses that i have had the fortune to be served by. I hope that her manager knows and appreciates her and the rest of the staff. Yanny you are great.

Perfect breakfast spot

Having read previous reviews I had high hopes for breakfast at First Watch and it did not disappoint. Nice vibes, extensive menu, terrific waitstaff, fresh food served nice and hot. What more could you want?

3 visits in less than 2 weeks!

By Serge C |

Our new favorite place! We’ve eaten here 3 times in less than 2 weeks! Their menu is excellent Staff are so nice & cordial. This place is just what we needed in Miami. Complementary hot coffee right when you walk in is very nice touch. They brought out complementary Blueberry muffins on a busy Sunday morning while we waited for a table, such a pleasant surprise. Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos - great! Elevated Egg Sandwich - a must have SoCal Burrito was delicious. Farmhouse Skillet Hash - loved it! Million dollar bacon - Another must have! Carrot cake pancake was a hit with our entire family Juices Orange Juice - fresh squeezed Kale Tonic wow! So refreshing & only $3.99 Morning Meditation - sweet & sour deliciousness

Lovely place to get breakfast

By SevYeYa |

I had a biscuit with gravey, eggs and potatoes. It was super delicious. Sadness took over, Cause I was already full after one dish and could not finish the banan pancake with nuts.

Yummy Brekkie

By Ery S |

Went here for our anniversary breakfast, I wanted something kitchsy but relaxed and this hit the mark! Food was fabulous, not assembly line like at all;,place is clean and the staff are friendly. We went back 4 days later with fiends and a few days after that before we left town. It’s definitely my go-to for Brekkie going forward. I highly recommend the pancakes (start with 1, as they’re huge)- either the blueberry or the banana nut. Bacon is to die for. My hubby raved over the French toast and my sister loved the egg-selent sandwich. Yumma yumma

Great experience in Miami

By Hesham A |

I had a great experience on my last day in Miami, great food reasonable price comparing to all others, my bill was $50.74 for 3 persons, which was equivalent to other places in the area, excellent test, fast service, free parking. if ever I visit MIAMI this will be on my itinerary for sure.

3rd visit-shame on me!

By emdjrd662016 |

Poor service, wrong food on first two visits. Tried once more because food was ok and place was in the area. Cold coffee, waited over 35 minutes AFTER ordering, was told breakfast order would be ready in "another 5 or 10 minutes. Others seated nearby ordered at same time and were nearly finished eating.

Excellent Food

This was my breakfast for 3 days in a row while visiting Miami. Excellent service and excellent food all 3 days. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious.

Delicious and filling breakfast

By Gina M |

A friend invited my family there for breakfast and it was excellent, filling and delicious! We were staying at a reputable hotel nearby and their breakfast was nothing compared to this, and way more costly. The waitress was very friendly, too.

Breakfast

By VoyagerJeff |

The lovely Diane and I stopped there for a Sunday breakfast.. A quick 15 minute wait and we had a cozy table for two. Coffee came quick and was very good. Juice offers were exotic Florida blends (AAA rated). My skillet was plentiful and tasty. Diane had a rejuvenating oat meal. This was an upscale breakfast to be sure... We were there for an hour enjoying everything... not only would we go back I look forward to my next breakfast there.

Enjoyable visit

Restaurant was full but still we had the best service, as fast as possible. Table service couldn’t be better, excellent waiter Erzhena

Great brunch place

By GemmaCarrillo |

We visited during the first weekend that First Watch opened. It was great! The food was delicious, the service outstanding and the atmosphere was unbelievable. The menu is a mixture of good old home cooking and country favorites. They have breakfast, brunch and lunch choices. Our plates were generous and well presented. Since they have brunch everyday I plan to visit at least two or three times a week. The restaurant is centrally locates, right off the expressway state road 836 ramp off 57th Avenue and it has plenty of parking. I had the Skillet Hash Farmhouse which was delicious. They also have a season menu which gets updated every so often.

VERY POOR SERVICE & DISTURBINGLY NOISY

By rcfoulkes |

HIGHLIGHTS: - The place is VERY noisy, to the point that you cannot have a proper conversation with your colleagues - The noise from the kitchen staff is ridiculously loud. Every time the cooks have ready a meal, they shout out loud so some waiter can come and pick it up. I'm not sure who told them that's the way a Restaurant Kitchen works, but is definitely wrong. This is really disturbing. - Waiters are not attentive, you have to be on the lookout for one if you need to ask for something otherwise you will end up with nothing. - Food is something I have to say is very good, very tasty and well presented. In the end, after dealing with the above, at least the food in good. - I went for lunch with some colleagues, but I know this place is famous for its delicious Breakfasts.

Incredible breakfast near airport

By Clark R |

The Daytime Cafe - Looking for a place to eat before flying back from Miami. We had one of the best meals of our vacation there. I had a summer Carnitas bowl while my daughter had the bacado omelet. We shared million dollar bacon. Bacon was like candy and glad they only gave us 6 pieces because I would have eaten double. Really great meal and good service. Will definitely eat there again,

No more

Cold waffle, watery coffee, inedible poached eggs, uensls ?I can only emphasiz the lack of attention bty the server and the entire staff to customer Irepeat customer satisfaction this in the past was 50% of...business?

Ecellent food, excellent staff

By pjw |

I have been at other First Watch locations that did not have a staff with helpful attitudes. Not the case here!!! Everyone from the hostess to the witress to the cashier was so pleasant. I loved the avocado toast and my husbands eggs were great as well.

We won’t be back

By John A |

Waited 45 minutes for a meal with our 17 month old. Food was ok but service lousy. Check out is jammed next to people coming in. Waitress apologized and said to come on Tuesday when it’s less crowded? Here’s an idea - let’s not visit again.

Not as good as the ones in Orlando!

By Louis F |

Service was good not great as the food was tasty but all arrived cold. It's still better than most other breakfast restaurants here.

Amazing!

By Bri |

We stumbled upon First Watch while looking for a new breakfast spot while on family vacation. The service was phenomenal, and the food was fantastic! The variety on the menu was wonderful to see, and the pricing was very reasonable for the amount of food you are served. I ordered the Avocado Toast and an iced coffee...it was SUPERB! We will definitely be back next year!

trash

By Marlon R |

Regardless of the fact that the food is disgusting, they are so bold and send me a juice that is literally less than half the glass. This was actually my last purchase at this place.

Wait for it!!!

By LetsVisitorNot |

First and foremost - love the food in this place. BUT today was a bad experience. Besides that we waited 40 minutes to sit - we waited 45 minutes for soup and sandwich. This is ridiculous. When we asked to speak to the manager, Andrés - all he could say was “he understands our ticket got lost”. Really?! Throw your server under the bus why don’t you. Oh and 30 minutes into the “wait for food” our server told us that the kitchen had too many tickets. I’m sorry but I work in hospitality and none of this s right - none of it!!!!! So I planned to go for breakfast with my co-workers - I can tell you i won’t be going back to this location. Good luck to you folks!!! Very disappointed ☹️

Good food and excellent service

Me and the girls grabbed breakfast before our trip back to Tampa. Good food. Excellent service from the guy looking after us, we didn’t catch his name but it was his first day. He was very attentive, great customer service.
