Forgettable

By Matthew C |

Slooow service. Long wait to take our order, and longer to arrive, over 30 minutes. Disorganized staff brought another table's orders to us, and ours to another table. Then after another 15 minutes or so, my wife's dish came out, and mine followed just under 20 minutes later. Pan roasted rock cod was cold and under cooked. Beer battered fish and chips were ok. Two other couples suffered similar annoying experiences. We ended up just looking at each other and shaking our heads at the incompetence. The rush of cold outdoor air every time the door was opened was not appealing, and the room was generally cold. One thing I do not like is bad music played on cheap speakers or a bad sound system, and this place has it. Sounded like they had a lone sub in the next door room, such that all evening all we heard was the drone of unintelligible tunes, and a poor selection to boot. Fix your sound system and get a good playlist, or just turn it off. My assessment is that since this restaurant caters to transient visitors to the hotel next door, there is a steady stream of unwitting customers. Given the choice, those customers would not return. Key to remember is that customers are your livelihood. Take care of them, and they will come back.

Great Breakfast !

By 65HJ |

First time here in SF. Googled and found this place. Clean, plenty of seating, friendly courteous staff. Good Breakfast menu selection. Ordered eggs benedict Florentine AND French toast. both came with LOADS of berries and fresh fruit. Delicious and so fresh ! Good coffee too. Definitely going on my “list”.

Good efficiency hotel

By queenanne54 |

The staff was friendly, and the service was good. Attentive to your needs with water or beverages. Food was yummy. Nice environment

Awesome Fish and Chips!

By Brooke I |

All of the food that we ordered was great! I would recommend the fish and chips. Best I have ever had.

Convenient for Club Quarters guests

By James M |

This restaurant is attached to Club Quarters hotel. Nice bar and decent food menu. Service lacked greatly, but food was good

Happy hour

By peter aspoy |

Great spot dollar oysters! Also love the salmon avocado toast , Great bartenders and a friendly service

Great watering hole

By Jan T |

Stopped in for drinks while staying at Club Quarters. great happy hour as well as bartenders and drink selection.

Couldn't Fault anything at this hotel

By Pat S |

Staying next door at Club Quarters this restaurant is directly net next door. It was a relatively quiet night in January so place wasn't overly busy at all. Food was great, service was very friendly and attentive. Really good spot and I'd recommend it if you are in that area.

Great location--near hotels, businesses

By Richard W |

We stayed adjacent to this bar/restaurant and were pleased with the quality. The bar is well stocked, good service and a busy happy hour. We had breakfast- the menu was good, food prepared well, eggs very fresh, service very good. Quick , convenient and good quality.

Good food

By minervacooper022 |

Ate at this hotel while staying at the club quarters hotel. Server was good and the food came quickly.

A great bar, with good food

By Andy096 |

Staff really friendly and welcoming, food great value for money, locals really friendly too. Opens early for a great choice of breakfasts. Nice and clean, and a great American atmosphere. It was my birthday and was given a real good welcome, could not ask for more

Nice fries but service left a bad taste...

By Anna S |

Stopped in here for a relaxed bite whilst staying at the neighbouring CQ hotel. The food was fine, if over-priced, and the fries excellent. The big issue for us was the pushy service...constantly being approached by the hovering server, who could barely disguise his disappointment when we said no to dessert/more drinks and then couldn't get us out fast enough...despite my husband having half a drink left. I would understand if it were busy at the time but the tables weren't full. A shame as it didn't make for the low key evening we'd planned after a busy day of sightseeing.

I really wanted this place to be great...

By kimberley1968 |

We've been here twice now - once for breakfast and once for appetizers and drinks. We were recently there for appetizers and drinks and the food was not great and the service was okay. The bartender was nice enough but not very attentive. We may come back for a drink if we are at the Club Quarters, but we won't stay long and we won't eat here.

stay away

By glennkoach |

terrible service, just a very poorly run place. no communication between the front desk, manager and 2 different waiters. noisy trivia contest going on when i was there

Disappointing on So Many Levels

By Rich W |

Having looked forward to dining at Fish & Farm for some time, perhaps my expectations were set a bit too high. That said, I found the food, the decor, and the service to be underwhelming. I had a crab bisque (one of the "specials") to start, in which I tasted absolutely no crab. Frankly, it tasted like canned soup. The server completely forgot to bring my business colleague's starter. For the main course, I had the sandwich-of-the-day, a lightly fried fish (I can't remember if it was sole, tilapia, or some other sort of fish), which lacked flavor and crunch, but had more than ample bread and messy condiments. My colleague had a pork chop, but he didn't comment on it, either positively or negatively. I won't be going back to Fish & Farm.

Great food and wonderful ambiance

By Mary Beth M |

We came in about 46 min from closing. Our server was delightful, never rushing us and the food was really good. We liked the relaxed pub feel with the dimmed lights and leather seated booths. We would definitely recommend.

Good breakfasts

By PhilYennerell |

Had breakfast there one morning. Very quiet and the food was a good value. It also has room service for the Club Quarters Hotel.

good breakfast

By TBTDVM |

great food, friendly owner. only took down 1 star because we went early at 645/7ish because we had a tour to meet at 8, but he said they didn't open until 730 - when all the online things say 630. so which is it? IDK - but he bought us a great breakfast! :)

Great Breakfast.

By grandrouge1 |

This restaurant is clean and has great ambiance. Reasonable prices as well. Great service...........waiters were friendly, quick and attentive. Will return.

Absolutely not

By Stacy W |

Absolutely not. The atmosphere, service and food were a complete waste of time and money. Although convenient to the hotel we stayed in (le meridien), I'd much rather prefer to take an Uber, walk or bike to another restaurant. The medium steak came well done. Fried chicken was hard as a rock. Fish and chips wasn't cooked enough and the salmon was subpar. Bartender even mentioned that he's also the chef??? Skip this place and find another location.

went in for a beer

By lightyear80 |

Nothing special, They were out of a lot of the beers on the draft list of the menu. It was a sunday night so was not unexpected. The decore with the wood beam was a nice touch. Gave it an old world charm.

good value and open early and on weekends

By awv3 |

good value restaurant and bar open early and on weekends which is great for family travel. many quality breakfast and dinner options for the whole family.

Don't Waste Your Time!!

By Janet G |

I'm pretty easy to please, and hate writing anything negative, but this one deserves it. From the minute we walked in the door we should have turned and left. The owner/manager was rude and the wait when we were seated was ridiculous. Our waiter was either hung over from the night before or just not all with it. He couldn't even remember to bring water.... Our meal was passable but not great. I think the only reason they stay in business is because they get customers staying at the hotel across the street (like we were). They certainly can't get much repeat business. Don't waste your time if you have another option. Sorry.... :-(

Big attention

By Cubiz |

I visited this restaurant in August for breakfast. Normal place and normal food, but you should do big attention when you pay... The waiter took me a wrong bill (more expansive bill) and used my credit card for this wrong bill. So, I asked to change the bill and cancel the wrong payment. Apparently, the waiter told me that he solved every mistake, but surprise: I found three different charges in my credit card with three different amounts! Nothing was canceled. I wrote to the restaurant, but I never received any answers. I can understand the mistake, all people can do an error. But I can't understand the silence when the customer wrote and ask for answers and help.

Very nice

By Hanora |

Very nice restaurant, we ate at the bar (our choice) Bar staff was very friendly and attentive, food presentation lovely. Varied menu, but everything those around us ordered looked and smelled delicious, as was our food. Not outrageously priced for SF. Put it on you list.

Poor

By Adrian T |

Went for breakfast on a Friday. Slow service from disinterested staff. Ordered one meal with sauce on the side - they got it wrong but was corrected quickly. Food average but not warm enough and served on lukewarm plates. Will not return.

Wonderful food, Great environment

By sja04 |

Wonderful food, Great environment, Welcoming staff, If you are staying at Club Quarters it is attached to hotel.

Pub/restaurant, food OK

By ShropshireBlade |

Attached to the Club Quarters Hotel but you can walk in off the street. Good sized portions of adequate food. I had a burger which was OK but nothing exceptional. Perfectly fine for a quick meal, with reasonable beer too.

Great food!

By Tracey F |

Ate here for Breakfast and dinenr on 2 occasions and each time food was really lovely and well presented. Reasonably proced and nice surroundings - would recommend

lunch

By Glenn W |

This place features all local fare (the food is all locally purchased). I had the fish sandwich special. Sandwich was large and tasty, it also came with fries. Service was friendly and fast.

Poor Service

By twoblue_iis |

Food was good, but the service was inconsistent, they always seemed to get something wrong with our orders. Lots of other places to eat in the area.

Salelsforce conference

By Carol B |

Food very good, ate there 3 times in a week - next to hotel we stayed at. Calamari was excellent, found a new beverage - Magners Irish Cider - soooo good.

Breakfast review

By Jon C |

I have only eaten breakfast here, although they do serve throughout the day. It is good, reasonable prices for SFO (high anywhere else), and convenient to the CQ hotel we stay at.

Breakfast is a must!

By inounvme |

This restaurant was connected to my hotel 'Club Quarters San Francisco' but not associated. Because I was being picked up early for tours outside of the city Fish & Farm was very convenient. I found the breakfast 'two eggs w/bacon, potatoes and toast' delicious and a great value at $12. My food was served timely and hot. I did not eat any other meals here but I highly recommend breakfast.

Bad service and pricey dinners not worth the taste.

By inkyko |

Terrible service. Menu indicates no specials and bread upon request. Our server did not offer to mention above what we ordered straight from the menu. Yet, when a couple arrived later, heard our server offering to tell them of the specials of the day. Also heard another server offer bread to another couple. Noted other bad customer service practices during course of dinner. Most disappointing was that there was nothing outstanding about the taste of the food. Ordered a pork chop with bone-in on bed of dressed greens. It was dry and boring. Husband ordered a mediocre-tasting cioppino dish. He usually generous with tips, but here, begrudgingly gave 10%. Cost of our dinner totaled approx. $90. Will definitely not go there again or give it a good mention others.

Near Le Meridien Hotel

By PorscheBoxster |

Friendly wait person. My wife order an Artichoke salad and it was wonderful. I had the Cod and it had a very good butter with slight citrus flavor. All was very good

Food is fine, beer is fine, nothing remarkable & nothing to complain about 😀

By Moleseyboy |

This place is attached to the Club Quarters hotel and like so many hotel bar/restaurants it lacks a soul. However the food was fine - freshly prepared with decent ingredients - the service was friendly and efficient and the beer perfectly drinkable. Not a place for fine dining or an evening out but it served its purpose.

Stopped for quick Lunch

By Patricia58P |

Food was good but not great. Had the fish and chips. Not sure if I would come back again. Appreciated that it was open and available for us to eat being in the Financial district on a Saturday, lots of places were closed

Food Good. Service Not.

By MBarb10 |

Our group ordered a variety from the menu ... salmon, seafood special, risotto, pork chops. Everyone enjoyed their dinners, except that the pork chop came out about 10 minutes after the rest. Next night I sat at the bar by myself. Apparently I was invisible because didn't get waited on. After 10 minutes I left and went across the street.

Not great

By richmet |

It’s next to CQ which makes it convenient but they need a major attitude and quality overhaul. Because it adjoins the hotel we had 2 breakfasts and evening drinks twice. The first breakfast we were kept waiting for 5-10 minutes for a table, even when there clearly were tables. Service continued to be lackluster. Food was ok. We have them benefit if the doubt and went back the next day. Same thing, even with a different set of staff. With the exception of one waitress who did her best all the others were men who clearly didn’t care. As a foreigner it really makes you resent the 20% tip expectation... food in second visit was worse so we gave up in favour of walking to the Ferry building and having a delicious breakfast in the sun for half the price...

Good breakfast spot

By John A |

Eggs Benedict were excellent. Waiters were attentive, courteous, and friendly. Good coffee. Can't speak for lunch or dinner, but breakfast was great.

Delicious soups

By sallyw547 |

We wanted a light lunch and found Fish and Farms's lentil soup and rolls the perfect solution to our hunger. Good service.

Good service!

By FrankieGal |

The waitstaff was very friendly and allowed me to sit and enjoy my half gallon of ice tea. He replaced my straw after the first one wilted (age of environmental awareness), and added ice to my glass to maintain the drink as ice tea (seems petty to mention, but often I will have to ask for ice at other places).

Go away

By LDE |

Go away I am still waiting for my dish’s My family have finish their dishes and I was still waiting mine. No water We ask for te dish , waiters not available And the manager is hiding behind the costumer answer !!! This is not him !!! He didn’t want to manage the lack of services !!! The food is just ok. When you get it !!! Don’t eat there Go somewhere else!!!

All Day Decent Dining

By Benjamin L |

Excellent reasonably priced restaurant in the financial district of San Francisco immediately adjacent to the Embarcadero Center. My 2 favorite recommendations are the Southern Petaluma Fried Chicken if you're really hungry and the lighter option, the Carraway Crusted Ahi Tuna both very tasty. Michael, the owner is friendly and approachable he usually makes his rounds to ensure that all this patrons are happy. Great food, excellent service, and comfortable atmosphere, I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

Unsatisfying food and matching service

By AndrewSF |

The pizza and soup were passable. I liked the artichoke salad although it didn't have enough artichoke and my wife thought it was too salty. I ordered a salmon special and it came out undercooked. The server said he would handle it which apparently meant put it in the microwave. There was a token amount removed from the bill but it wasn't appropriate. We won't be going back.

Enjoyed my meal

By Candigo |

Had the salmon which was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. I plan to eat here again.

Dinner and Breakfast

By Pparis663 |

Expensive like everywhere else in San Fran Conveniently across from Le Meridien Hotel. We but enjoyed our Dinner and Breakfast. The Filet of Sole and Salmon was delish.

S.L.O.W.

By Witching |

Is this a restaurant or a front for something else? Our guts told us that something else is going on here as the focus is definitely not customer service. A strange feeling from the moment we entered and stood there without acknowledgement and continued as out waiter showed up, hung over? and wanting to share. Run... our guts told us, we didn't listen. All I have to say, you really should listen to your gut. Surreal experience all the way around.

On sight restaurant on the same building as Club Quarters Hotel

By JoAnn P |

We had dinner and breakfast at this restaurant that was convenient to the Club Quarters Hotel. The service was good and the food was very nice. I enjoyed mushroom risotto. My husband had the fish and chips and was disappointed that the fish was not as crispy as is the norm. The breakfast was quite good.

Good food, excellent service

By Flen2014 |

It really is nice to experience great service - it just makes the food taste so much better! Our server knew his wine and helped me choose the appropriate one to go with my order. My husband and I tried a few dishes and I remember enjoying all of them and none really stood out. That evening, it was all about the service and the casually elegant ambiance. A basketball game was playing on the bar TV with the other customers cheering while we were on the restaurant side watching right along with them. It hit all the right notes for us!

Excellent

By brmaloney |

Went here as across street from our hotel and it was excellent. Everyone in the party enjoyed there food. Oysters and Mussels for starters were great. The fish and chips were delightful . Would definitely recommend this place.

Disappointing

By mcbear1 |

The photos online and reviews made this restaurant sound like it had a pub atmosphere and good food, so we made an effort to come here. It was very disappointing. The music playing didn’t go at all with the dark atmosphere, and honestly it was too dark to pull off a realistic pub feeling. I can see why it looked good on photos, but it was just lacking in ambiance. The fish and chips were just Ok, as was the steak. Our kids enjoyed the pizza though.

Tasty Fish and Chips

By NYCWWExplorer |

I had lunch here before attending a show across the street. The daily special was reasonably priced although I ordered fish and chips from the regular menu. It was tasty and flaky. Service was friendly.

Never got to try it -- understaffed restaurant couldn't serve us

By JoGus2SantaCruz |

We tried to get room service at the Club Quarters hotel from this restaurant, who is apparently their room service provider. Breakfast on a Sunday morning?? Father's day in fact? Sorry, no can do. The idiots only had ONE person on staff in the restaurant that morning. What kind of moron doesn't prepare for an onslaught of dads and family for breakfast on Father's Day?? Duh.... apparently quite in line with the other reviews slamming the poor service here.

Consistently slow, mediocre food

By ORTravelMom |

We stayed in the attached Club Quarters Hotel which we loved. So we had breakfast and then an evening meal here. For breakfast, they seemed perhaps understaffed? It took quite a while for anyone to take our order and food was also slow to arrive. We did enjoy the meal when it arrived. No one came to refill coffee, so we stopped at Starbucks next door after breakfast. Late dinner: I ordered crab cakes (a starter) and my companion ordered pizza. Both came 45 minutes later. Again, no coffee refills offered. There were no more than 10 patrons in the restaurant and at least 3 servers that I saw. Not sure what is up. Again, food was decent. Nothing amazing, but not bad. Folks at the bar also complained to each other about the wait for someone to take a drink order and make drinks. We won’t try here again, despite the convenience. Not with many wonderful options surrounding us in downtown San Fran.

So Disappointing

By DianeXit98 |

Just one night in SF, so Love CQ in SF (and Chicago), dealing with a broken toe, in no mood to walk any longer for the day, so Fish and Farm it was for dinner especially since the last restaurant (I'm going back 5 years) was really pretty decent and had a nice "pub" feel to it. I'm OK with a limited food menu but I struggled to find something I wanted. Granted, I don't live in SF but I still don't see F&F being anything but an eatery for those staying at CQ or working near CQ. Staying at CQ, I was looking for simple eats: salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and some fun CA sides/appetizers/finger foods. Skip the shrimp gratinee and don't expect much of the burger. BTW, watch what you are served: Half wine bottles on the menu and ordered are not necessarily poured and you'll 1) not be told of the change but 2) will be charged the same price.

Dinner and drinks

By James H |

The place was extremely crowded on the Thursday night I was there because of an event, however, Katie - my server - was delightful, friendly, and efficient. My food came out more quickly than expected. The seafood in the Ciopino was over cooked but the stock was delicious. Great selection of draft beers to complement a full bar and once it cleared out a little, it was a relaxing place to enjoy dinner.

Good Lunch

By _diprowell |

By the time we got in it was close to lunch so we had time to eat there before heading out to the Piers. the only thing I can say is the food was good with the exception of the chicken I had for my Cesar salad. Did not eat but a couple of pieces. My husbands food was good

Contemporary restaurant in FIDI

By Charles M |

Stopped in for a casual dinner when I was staying at the attached hotel. Solid menu. Try the calamari...best I've ever had.

Delicious Seafood

By 5-2-go91 |

Nice cozy place with good efficient service. Happy hour prices until 6 or 7, cant remember for sure now. Enjoyed a delicious salmon dinner it was so moist and flavorful done very nicely. Also enjoyed my friends seafood stew which was out of this world, a house favorite. Excellent quality.

Good food

By Road Warrior |

The food was better than expected and portions were large. They are open from breakfast thru dinner.

A solid, but slower, breakfast

By StacyMacDonald |

My husband and I stopped into Fish & Farm for breakfast one morning, to take a break from our Starbucks yogurt bowls and sous vide egg bites. It's fortunate that we weren't looking for a quick fix that morning, as the service was relatively slow paced. It took a little longer than normal to be seated, to have orders taken, and to get our food and bill. The food, however, was very good. I had the French toast (asked for no icing sugar and this was compiled with) and I would definitely order it again. I also felt they served a good amount of fruit, which I always appreciate, and the apple juice was really excellent. Also, I didn't take part, but the have bottomless mimosas on the weekend. I watched a mimosa get made at the bar while we ate, and you're definitely getting your value!

More of a pub than a restaurant

By Gearhead85 |

A better place to drink than to have a formal dinner. The food was good but unexceptional and on the heavy side. Our waiter really struggled and he later confided that he is a bartender who was pressed into service on the dining room floor. Young SF financial district crowd.

Breakfast on out last morning

By wynne j |

We stayed at the Club Quarters next door for a week. Their food is locally sourced. The choice for breakfast was more than adequate. Eggs any way you wanted them and then a choice of ham, sausage or bacon with sour dough etc. Set price of $12 each plus $2 for unlimited coffee which again was very palatable.

Great Service

By AlexJ262 |

Came in for dinner last night with not that much choice of restaurants in the Financial District at weekends and was really glad I did. Had the calamari to start which was really well cooked and not rubbery which it often can be. The spicy tomato sauce was amazing. I had the New York Strip for my main which was cooked as ordered and served with a really delicious bordelaise. Better still, they have peroni on draft. The service was exceptional. Very friendly and attentive without feeling rushed.

Best Brussels Sprouts Ever!

By GeorgiaToast |

Fish and Farm was very close to our hotel and we dined there twice, both times at the bar. Friendly atmosphere and a popular place with good pizza, too, plus great cocktails.

Ineptitude at its finest!!!

By Global Travelers Unlimited |

Terrible service and treatment here at this restaurant. The host was extremely rude an dismissive to my wife and treated us like second hand citizens. Food was equally underwhelming and bland. We've had better service than this from food carts and this being a "nice" restaurant falls flat on all fronts. Cannot recommend and would rate this a -5 stars if possible.

Love this place

By tripsforfun |

Awesome place. Great Bloody Marys and food is pretty good. We have been several times and always consistant.

Lovely little bar - excellent barman

By Mark N |

Visited this bar a number of times when staying in Club Quarters which is directly above it. We had a good bit of craic with the barman and the punters. The wife had a snack one day whcih tasted really nice and I saw some of the other food coming out which looked excellent. Really good selection of beers too and loads of sports on the TV's. I'd recommend going if you're nearby.

Short staffed

By juanita_v |

We came in for a late breakfast and none of the tables had been cleared. Seeing the frazzled look of our server, we opted to sit at the bar. The menu was a bit limited, but it had enough of what we liked. The coffee was good. My eggs, sausage, and toast came out hot and delicious. My husband was happy with his eggs benedict. The dishwasher was called on to clear tables.

This was different than we expected but good

By montecoreOregon |

This place looks like a pub when you walk in with a pub style bar set up, but the food was very good and so was the service and prices. We had breakfast here and it was very good value. I'd come back here.

Great place to eat

By dean m |

Sanja Deija Lily, Heather and are a great group of people at the fish and farm. Great food. They will pamper you. So come and enjoy their great drinks and food.

Bleck

By Raggabug76 |

Cold, I’ll prepared eggs Benedict. Dogs traipsing through the restaurant. Service just ok. I love a great breakfast, but this place was horribly disappointing. Definitely will not be going back.

good food, way over price, poor service by the server.

By kouafranz |

wait time at dinner was way too long. at least they were on top of filling my water glass. Food is way overpriced and the server could have been better.

Great food & drink at at reasonable price

By harryatkck |

They have a wide variety of food on the menu at a good price. They also have a large selection of beers. We had fresh oysters on the half shell for less than $1 a piece. This restaurant is next to the Club Quarters Hotel which was where we stayed. The staff was great & the atmosphere was excellent. We would not hesitate to eat here again.

Easy Fast Breakfast

By tedcercossr |

Many restaurants in downtown San Francisco are closed on the weekend. Fish & Farm was a welcome exception. I got a nice hearty breakfast before heading out for a day of walking.

Came for the food and it was delicious but....

By daavz |

I was recommended the restaurant for its eco-friendly menu (sustainable harvest, local and organic produce and meats). The vino/ happy hour was great and I enjoyed sitting at the bar. The service once I sat at a table was slow; we had to ask repeatedly for water, drinks, etc. The waiter was nice after engaging in a conversation with him but he wasn't the most attentive, nor was the restaurant busy. I will return but expect better service!

Yummy goodness

By Tim K |

The fish and chips are fantastic. Loved the seasoning on the fries and the fish was so good. Will return!

Room for Improvement - Service lacking

By bay611 |

While touring around downtown San Francisco we decided to stop in here after reading reviews. We made a quick reservation on Open Table thinking this was necessary. At 1:00 pm on a Monday there was no need for a reservation as we saw when we arrived to a near empty restaurant. They tucked us in a back corner and thus began the SLOWEST lunch and service we have experienced. The atmosphere reminded me of a old-time men's only restaurant club. Our waiter disappeared for about 15 minutes at a time - we didn't even get menus or water until we were sitting there for about 20 minutes. The food was acceptable - burgers, fries, and salad - standard american fare - nothing to write home about. I would say save time and money and visit another venue in the city. This one can be skipped.

Reasonable for breakfast

By Mikesalter |

Came here multiple times for breakfast as staying next door. Service was friendly and had a nice ambiance in the morning. Good orange juice and regular coffee, food I had was good enough though not exceptional. Poached eggs were a bit variable between well cooked and over cooked, sausage tasted good but wasn’t the best standard. Potatoes were best part. Overall fine for breakfast and I wouldn’t discourage you from coming here however I have had better breakfast in Bay Area though more towards mountain view. Value is average at $23 for orange coffee and something cooked.

The price on your menu will not be the price on the bill

By charmcat |

There's an extra 4% tacked on to every bill as an “SF Mandate Fee.” This is a lie. The city of San Francisco does not mandate any such fee, and this money goes straight into the restaurant’s bank account. If the restaurant feels the need to charge higher prices, they should do so and list them on the menu, not surprise customers when the bill comes. It is dishonest to advertise an entree as $20.00 and then charge $20.80 for it.

Good vibes

By David S |

Great spot for a quick drink. Marcus was a gentleman. If you stay a club quarters next door they offer you a free drink. I got the white wine.

Wonderful vegetarian food and service

By Nano B |

I ate three or four meals here when I stayed at Club Quarters hotel. The server, Stefan, was very helpful in me ordering food that met my dietary restrictions and when I was in a rush. I liked all the food I had here (mainly the veggie omelet and the portabella mushroom sandwich).

Incredible Food

By Arrington H |

Alongside a great hotel (Club Quarters), Fish & Farm provides an excellent staff, setting, and food.

Felt very uncomfortable, food was mediocre

By Ewmorningstar |

Since we were staying a Club Quarters thought we would give this restaurant a try. A gentleman came in carrying a binder. He was clearly unhappy about how things were working in the restaurant. At one point had a maintenance person with him looking under the tables with a flash light. Then he would move a table about three inches, then move the coat rack six inches in another direction. It appeared there was only one wait staff for the entire restaurant and he was working as hard as he could. My salad was very salty. Husband's salmon was okay.

Delicious Breakfast

By Kiv |

Short walk from our hotel in Chinatown to Clay St. Large menu selection. The omelets are amazing and large portions!

Great breakfast

By Pat C |

Good food, reasonable prices and a pleasant staff. A pleasant change from the often over-priced hotel restaurants with a great menu.

Good breakfast options

By willemb89 |

Fish & Farm offers a good selection of breakfast items, ranging from American (e.g. pancakes) to Mexican. The service can be a bit slow but the food is good

Average breakfast food in a tavern atmosphere

By Kim W |

This restaurant is located across the street from our hotel, so we thought we'd give it a try. There weren't many people in there, which is always a little disconcerting. The breakfast.selection was small with more egg choices than anything else. My French toast was pretty good. My husband liked his pancakes. The coffee is fair. The atmosphere is really neat though with lots of dark wood and tin tiles on the ceiling. I think this would be a better place to grab a beer than breakfast.

Nice staff but slow meals

By Deborah W |

Good spot - attached to Club Quarters. Staff friendly but it took a very long time to get meals and drinks. We noticed that other tables had same problem. Menu options a bit slim. Food was satisfactory.

Lovely sunday dinner

By Lisa D |

Met a friend here for an early dinner on Sunday. The restaurant was fairly quiet and not crowded at all, which was nice for conversation. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Our waiter steered us to some terrific wines that were reasonably priced. The menu wasn't huge but had a good array of choices. I ordered the Ahi tuna which was prepared perfectly and my friend had the salmon special with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was also very good. I would definitely go back next time I am in San Francisco.

Not a good choice, too

By Ronjohn88 |

Starter did not arrive, drinks had to be ordered twice, entrees were cold (but good), desert was mediocre, check included more (wrong) orders, service was overstrained (partly unfriendly, partly anxious)

Good food, dessert

By GlobalLocalTraveller |

Ate a couple of times while staying at the Club Quarters. The fish and chips waw good, kale salad was excellent. Cheesecake was nice. Overall, I like the quality of the food.

Nice Tin Ceiling

By Ken A |

The restaurant looks interesting, but the menu is pretty limited and safe. I thought fried chicken would be a good bet, and ordered only dark meat, but it was actually really dry. How do you do that? Convenient for hotel next door and open late.

great breakfast

By Fred S |

fast service, quality food, service was excellent; location was convenient, Starbucks nearby; close to embarcadero; easy for uber to pick up

Convenient if you are at the hotel, but pricey

By SWB98 |

This is a little high priced for what it is. It used to be an English pub with bar food, which was good and cheap. Now it's been formalized and has fewer and less affordable choices.

Great Food Great Staff!

By Cintron S |

Amazing service! We sat on the outside to get some sun a great food. I travel around the world, and this is the only location I have found in the domestic US that has Rekorderlig Premium Strawberry-Lime Hard Cider.

Perfect fish and chips

By Torbjörn L |

We ate lunch and dinner here. The fish and chips were really good. The food came fast and the staff was friendly.

To busy for guests even restaurant was empty

By belle bavière 🙂 |

Very weird! Tried to go there for dinner. They told us that they wont serve at the table as they are busy with the room service. Restaurant was almost empty. Very unfriendly!

Incompetent indifferent management

By Lee R |

I live in the area and ate breakfast here. I thought it was surprising that eggs Benedict on the menu was listed with ONLY spinach, while eggs Florentine we listed with ham. After doubtfully re-reading their menu listing three times I ordered the eggs Florentine as I wanted the eggs to come with ham. However in fact the menu listing WAS screwed up and the manager didn't bother to have the menu corrected.

AMAZING RESTAURANT

By MAYASYD |

Although the food is good in California this is one of the top places to eat. They are located in the Financial District close to Chinatown.

Small restaurant adjoining the Club Quarters Hotel, great for a quick breakfast!

By jam1015 |

The food and decor was very nice, service was attentive and if you sit by the window or choose to sit outside you have a nice view of area. My wife and I both had eggs and they were cooked to our liking with crispy bacon and fresh fruit. We did not feel we got robbed either when the check was presented. They also serve lunch and dinner.

I eat here all the time

By 111patricia |

My networking group meets here so I eat here A LOT. The food is great - the specials are always delicious and the mainstays are great too. I am never disappointed. Great staff also.

Good Burger

By Diana F |

Good burger, but the fries were cold, kind of a disappointment. The decor is great, lots of space and places to sit. Very clean. And two out of the three servers/bar guys were fun. Good bar and generous Happy Hour drinks, but it doesn’t offer Happy Hour food.

Solid but confused

By Carl_The_Great |

Visited as part of a big group after a conference. Service was solid and drinks range pretty good (both expected in SF from a established restaurant). The food was good but a little confused - the menu had a range of stuff that seemed to clash. They really pushed oysters as a starter, which were good, but then fried chicken and burgers featured highly in the mains menu. It was all good, but lacked unity. Seemed a bit like a pot-luck.

Disappointing

By Barry M |

Staff and facilities were ok, food was just so-so. None of our meals would entice us to go back (3 different entrees).

Fancy Breakfest

By Edwin R |

Nice Restaurant attached to Hotel. Great Selection of food and Drinks. I recommend the Fish and chips.

Nice n wholesome

By Raju S |

Morning 7 am we entered Fish n Farm for breakfast. Was seated immediately in a cozy sofa seater. Quick service of a nice hearty breakfast with a nice hot Americano got us.powered for the day ahead. Well located quick service with lovely jazz tunes in the morning!

Great Breakfast!!

By set16092 |

We had an excellent breakfast right next to the Club Quarters hotel. Strongly recommend to all visitors.

Really nice!

By Mario H |

I just went to that place for breakfast one day, but was really really nice!. The service was really fast, the food excellent, and waitress (A girl from Israel) was very polite.

Great location and ambiance

By Jules T |

This restaurant may deserve a 5* but unfortunately, we arrived late (10:30pm) and the kitchen was nearly. closed. But they were kind enough to fry up some calamari quickly for us and we enjoyed a late night snack and beer. The lighting and ambiance was just right. Some nice wood and brick walls makes for cozy with lovely long bar. Our appetizer was good, drinks cold and service great. We'll definitely try it again next time we stay at Club Quarters, attached. They offer a great happy hour so that would be a great time to try more food and relax.

Fantastic!

By LouEandJoeK |

This restaurant is attached to our hotel (Club Quarters); we stopped for dinner and had an incredible Funghi Pizza and fish special. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was perfectly cozy. We liked it so much that we decided to come back for breakfast before leaving town!

Great Specials

By Ruth B |

Had lunch special fish wrap there which was excellent. There are happy hour drink specials i.e. $5 glass of wine. Right next door to Club Quarters

Thin crust pizza

By 3wwwishes |

Fish and farms has lots of great seafood selections. And a great list of wines and beers. But sometimes you are in the mood for pizza. Their pizza is on an extremely thin crust, which I love, and the sauce has a very nice authentic Italian flavor. I've had their mussels, in the past. Also very good. And a delicious potato and goat cheese galette. The only thing that would keep me from giving them a perfect score is that the service behind the bar can be painfully slow at times. Other times its a bit better. Overall a good experience, though.

Great Recommendation From Club Quarters

By AlexandriaLeo |

Tom and Rich recommended this restaurant downstairs in the Club Quarters. Tom directed me to Kianna at the front hostess stand and she was very accommodating and made sure we got amazing service. Our server Ryan was very diligent and provided excellent service.

Two Visits Both During Happy Hours

By RichardMcA2014 |

This restaurant was across the street from our hotel, Le Meridien, so we tried it out for some food and drink before we planned to go out for dinner. Food offerings, such as steamed mussels, were so good we never made it to our planned dinner. For that first evening, a Monday, in early April I would have, without hesitation given Fish and Farm five stars. We were so impressed went back a couple days later. Different bar staff and vastly different service. Food service was slow and our beloved steamed mussels, served piping hot two nights earlier were barely warm and missing the bread that came with the dish previously. Service and food experience this second time was a three out of five. Despite the poorer than expected experience on the second visit, we would give Fish and Farm a third try especially if we were staying close by.

SURPRISINGLY GREAT FOOD

By Larry B |

I chose to eat here the first time because it was next door to my hotel. I am always skeptical of places attached to a hotel, expecting high prices and so-so food This was a pleasant surprise I ended up eating three dinners and one breakfast here All were excellent quality and reasonably priced for an urban restaurant. On successive nights I had a grilled pork chop, fish and chips and grilled Ahi The pork chop was huge and cooked to perfection, with a tasty glaze The fish with the fish and chips was the best I've ever tasted, with a light batter and an almost creamy fish. The Ahi was a thick chunk, cooked to my specifications, served on a plate full of grilled asparagus. All the potatoes were tasty as well. My breakfast ham and cheese omelet was excellent as well, served with a mound of seasoned potatoes. Had a local friend not suggested another place, I might have eaten here a fourth night. Service was always attentive and friendly. My only reservation about the place is the noise. It is a small place with a "lively" bar that seemed very popular. The seating for single diners is a row of half booths across the aisle from the bar, facing the bar. The seats are high, leaving your feet to dangle. The regulars at the bar the nights I was there were a noisy bunch, including the bartender, who seemed to be a very friendly guy who likes to laugh. I'm not a fan of screeching/boisterous laughers, who seemed to be in abundance while I was there. For my last diner I asked if there was another place a single could sit and they offered me a little booth in a corner that was exactly what I needed

Crab Cakes!

By MaryR |

The crab cakes were excellent, although smaller than I thought they would be. The price was reasonable. Atmosphere was cozy. Service was good and fairly fast.

When you think Fish & Farm, think Fish, Farm & Fraud, cuz that's what you'll be getting!

By Todd G |

Fish & Farm fraudulently charged my card $55 for a single pint of beer, and refuses to reverse the fraudulent charges. If you risk going here, keep copies or photos of the receipt, as you’ll need them for the chargeback when they sneak false charges onto your card. Remember, when you think Fish & Farm, think Fish, Farm & Fraud, because that's what you’ll be getting! Yay! My total tab for one beer was around $10. The next day I saw $45 charged to my card, plus another $25 in pending charges. I went there in person to resolve it, and was kept waiting for 10 minutes before being told they didn't have time to deal with it, leave your info and we'll contact you later. Several days went by with no word, so I contacted again by email asking for the false charge to be refunded. An employee named Stefan responded and informed me he had added yet another $10 in charges. When I asked him yet again to reverse the original $45 fraudulent charge, and to supply a copy of the original receipt, I received no response. My bank tells me I need the receipt as documentation for the fraud chargeback, which of course I don't have and Fish & Farm refuses to supply, so it looks like they're going to get away with it. Please don't risk going to Fish & Farm, and if you do, pay cash or make sure to keep a copy of the receipt. The pint of beer was OK, I guess. Can't rate the service very highly when it includes actual theft. Ambiance, about average. All in all, gotta say it needs improvement.

Fantastic

By Pauline K |

Breakfast lunch and dinner fantastic ,menu is great not large ,a good variety wine list also great very friendly staff

Went every day for breakfast..

By Barbara S |

Spent a week in SF, and were so impressed by the breakfast here that we went every day. Service equally excellent. It was a lifeline.

Decent Food and good range of beer

By ronfromglasgow |

This is a bar/restaurant. Nonetheless i had great perfectly cooked seared tuna and a good risotto. Staff all friendly, but US is like that. Great American craft beers and more.

Good food and location,

By lona |

The staff was friendly and efficient. They gave us information about where to go and how to get there. The food was good and affordable. The menu was limited but had enough choices for everyone in our party. We ate there several times.

טעים

By נופר |

אכלנו שם ארוחת בוקר טעימה מאוד חבל שלא הזדמן לנו לאכול שם יותר We ate breakfast there and it was very good! I wish we knew about this place sooner, so we could have eaten there more because we are staying right next to it at the hotel.

Excellent breakfast

By Saxon S |

We were staying at the Club Quaters hotel and this restaurant is just adjacent to the lobby entrance. They had great choices on breakfast. We had the Pancake and eggs Benedict. The staff are friendly. Try it the next time you are in the neighborhood.

Service was weak

By rickmotors |

Food very good !!!! Server long hair skinny guy , gave new meaning to slow motion , dropped water at table and got lost for 10 minutes, not busy at all only had 2 tables. No urgency at all ,we wanted desert was afraid it would be another lengthy wait. Saw him stall out a group of people until they left.

Excellent food, excellent staff

By Jim S |

The food choices were plentiful and both breakfasts and dinners were very tasty. Wait staff is EXCELLENT although the kitchen turnaround was a little slow in the evenings. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful food Wonderful restaurant

By MrsKarlsen |

I came to this place twice during my stay with Club Quarters hotel and I have to say I will be returning. I had the fish and chips, Garden salad and the cheese cake. The fish and chips are something you shouldn't miss steaming hot and not super heavy on the batter you taste more fish then then outside. The salad was awesome mixed greens with fruit and the cheesecake was amazing not too sweet not too heavy was the perfect way to end the meal.

A nice lunch with friends on a rainy day.

By corazona2017 |

This restaurant is an American Restaurant. We didn't make any reservation for lunch. My friends and I decided to meet to this place at 12:30 p.m. for lunch. Thinking that it won't be crowded anymore. I got there 5 minutes earlier one of my friends were there already waiting. I don't need to be seated cause my friend seating next to the window and I saw her as I came inside the restaurant. A nice guy came over and asked us if we need something while waiting for one of our friends and handed the menu. The place was different as it used to be with another entity. As I remembered with my old company we celebrated one of our Christmas Party to this place. Quiet, warm, spacious and the server is very attentive to you. Very polite and always with smile. The prices from the menu are very reasonable, one of my friend ordered fish and chips she commented and said the fish is fresh. Their crab cakes are so delicious. We ordered Mac & cheese one of my friends said it was one of the best she ever had. We tried their sweet potato fries they are so good and crunchy. Their Seafood Linguine is also good. One of good place to dine when you are in San Francisco financial district. Next to CQ Hotel and across the street of Le Meridian Hotel.

Nice restaurant on the premises of Club Quarters hotel

By Nattie216 |

Nice restaurant right on the premises of Club Quarters hotel. Really good food, decently priced. Just know that you will be spending money whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Average breakfast for two was $50 after tip. Average lunch for two with tip was $74. And dinner was approximately $100 before the tip. Definitely much less expensive places to eat, but convenient and nice to do at least once during your trip.

Good food, prices, and service, but a bit loud

By Gary H |

I had the seared tuna and was very pleased with it and the asparagus that was included. The server was prompt, knowledgeable, and available when needed. Not an upscale environment, and a bit loud, but well worth a visit. Happy hour from 5:00-8:00 pm, with $5 beers and glasses of wine.

Stumbled on for breakfast

By Bugletts |

Believe it or not but I think it’s easy to get eggs wrong. Not here - perfect!!!! Breakfast was excellent. Great music and friendly staff make this a go to place for the future. What I also liked was the fact that there was no WIFI so it forced me to read a book! Loved it - well done guys

Right across the street from Le Meridian Hotel

By TWHTraveler |

Good comfort food - my wife loved the fried chicken, good drinks, very friendly waitstaff, lots of booths, not too large, intimate

Killer Calamari

By 902joshuaf |

Staying nearby or I would have likely missed this little gem. I was flying solo so I sat at the bar. Service was prompt and courteous. I ordered the "Grilled Calamari Salad". Calamari is one of the things after I order it I always question myself. It's either really good or it is rubbery and taste like plastic. This Calamari was the bomb. Perfect seasoning paired with tomatoes and mixed greens. There was a touch of bitterness in the greens, but it seemed to fot in the dish. Not only will I recommend this place to friends, but I am coming back tomorrow!

Average dinner in a quiet environment

By pick_me_up_a_6_pack |

I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here but it's conveniently located next to the Club Quarters hotel.

Great food, not overly friendly

By lamd98 |

We stopped there for lunch during the Pride Parade and the place wasn’t very busy. Ordered the beer battered chicken tenders and they were wonderful. Service was ok, not overly welcoming/friendly so we decided against having another drink...too bad because so far everybody in SF has been fantastic.

Hit or miss!

By CDR63 |

I have eaten at Fish and Farm numerous times. Every time I go I keep thinking it was just an off day and the next time will be better. Just very inconsistent. The pasta was great, the calamari salad smelled like it had been there for 2 weeks. The burger was ok. They have some good wine and beer, so if you're staying at the hotel next door it's very convenient.

A great find

By Alison J |

We had a drink and a pizza here and it was awesome! The bartender was super friendly and just an all round great guy! Food was fantastic too!

Disgusting!!!!

By calvinldavis2006 |

I was staying across the street at the Le Meridian when I decided to visit Fish and Farm on Sunday evening. I was going to order food until the older male bartender blew his nose directly in front of me. Yes while he was behind the bar. Not to mention, “HE DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS AFTERWARDS” as he began to serve other patrons...there is no way I would revisit this place again.

Unsavory, deplorable service

By francois_dicglobtrot |

Disreputable Very long wait and my wife did not have her dish. Non-existent management: the manager who welcomed us then pretended to be a customer when we complained.

Not a good choice

By Neil A |

Started with a couple of drinks at the bar, all was good. Then we ordered 3 x fish and chips and one grilled calamari at the bar. 45 minutes latter two fish and chips turn up with a extra side of chips. What is going on! About ten minutes later a third fish and chips turned up, but no calamari. What slack service. No need in this day for this type of service.

Lunch - quick and yummy

By Dave B |

Good lunch grab across street from Le Meridien. Lots of beers. Open and airy, but not overly loud. Good seletion from fish and chips to burgers and salads.

Great Saturday lunch

By auntkid |

Needing a lunch spot in the financial district, on a Saturday, can be a challenge. Located across the street from our hotel, we gave it a try and were not disappointed. Fish & chips, buffalo chicken salad & blue cheese burger were our selections. All very, very good. My fish was moist, fried perfectly & fries were tasty (and just right amount). My friends were equally impressed with their choices. Definitely worth a visit.

A nice place for a quick meal

By ejf33950 |

A nice place for a quick meal in the Financial District. The restaurant is accessible through the lobby of Club Quarter but you need your key to reenter the hotel from the restaurant

Late night snack after a long trip

By Trina M |

Needed a quick bite after a long trip into the city. With our new baby asleep soundly in her baby carrier we ran across from our hotel to a small restaurant. The menu is small but has a wide range of offerings. We chose a simple margherita pizza. It was soggy. Greasy. Almost NO mozzarella. Half the pizza had no cheese. A total of 3 pieces of basil. The sauce was very spicy but good. Wouldnt recommend for families. Good liquor selection. Averge but pricey wine list. Bread and butter served was stale and the butter did not taste right. Music wasnt loud but the bass was so high I couldnt hear the lyrics and my head was pounding by the time the check came. Good spot for drinks if your 21-25.. Not a good spot for family or anyone looking for a laid back relaxing spot. On a good note the waiter and waitress were great.

Great and large breakfast

By Rob D |

Came for breakfast from the hotel next door one morning. The food was really nice and a really big plate. The only thing I would say is that all of the options were really large and I probably could've done with something a little smaller.

Food, Atmosphere, Service Just OK

By Dennis F |

Started off poorly when we were informed we missed Happy Hour by 10 minutes. Food was average and slightly overpriced. Service was fine but not very friendly. Probably wouldn't go back. Lots of better places to eat.

Worst service ever

By Thomas M |

Fish and Farm is attached to the CQ Hotels and supposed to serve hotel breakfast. Four, slow and ignorant staff. 3 days in a row! Today, empty place, 10 minutes until I could summon a waiter to accept my order, another 20 minutes later food showed up (Eggs!)

Great food and great service

By shellyfitzloff83 |

Our Bartender Dee was fantastic. Very attentive and always smiling. Excellent customer service. I always order the burger and sweet potato fries. The food here is good. Friendly atmosphere.

My last choice was a good one.

By wood_brothers21 |

I had tried to dine at three other establishments the night I ate here. I should have just gone here in the first place and saved the time and trouble. I stayed at the adjacent Club Quarters hotel. As I frequently walked by, sometimes the restaurant looked packed but on this night there were fewer patrons. When I arrived, as I was alone and asked if I should sit at the bar for dinner but I was lead to a rather tall table for two. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner here. I started off with their soup of the day while I perused the remainder of the menu. Sadly, I don't recall what it was exactly. I do remember that I was satisfied with it. Most of their appetizers ae priced in the teens. The guy sitting next to me had the risotto but it appeared that he was less than happy with it (I could be wrong). I chose the pork chop at thirty dollars. I don't often have pork at home as it disagrees with my wife's digestion. It arrived as advertised on a thick bed of crispy napa cabbage. The mustard sauce was delicate and was perfectly married with this dish. The thick meat was moist and tender. I had cheesecake for dessert which was round and creamy. All in all it was a fine repast.

Good food

By Lily T |

I stayed at the Club Quarters with my friends and we chose this restaurant because of a lazy reason: the restaurant is downstairs at the hotel. We ordered the New York steak, Cioppino and the Southern Fried Petaluma chicken. We all enjoyed the food and have no negative remark on it whatsoever. The staff was also so nice to give my friend's toddler the happy hour meal: fish&chips. Keep in mind we went for dinner, so happy hour was over. Good food and nice staff, great combo to a good eve.

Good food, not good service

By Donna1419 |

Sadly, on a Saturday night, the place was not very packed. And yet we had such horrible service. We were served by no less than 6 different people (not sure why). Even then, we had to ask for waters, our cocktails took a very long time to receive (had to ask for them twice) and the food was just adequate. And again, on a night that the place was not at all crowded, the service should have been far better.

Delicious lunch and quick room service great breakfast

By Cameron C |

I enjoyed two meals this trip at (or delivered to room) Fish and Farm! The salmon was prepared perfectly, and omelet and sausage perfect for breakfast!

Happy Hour

By Seetheworld767 |

It was a very affordable and tasty happy hour! Very nice to watch the Masters on the televisions! Awesome!

Great breakfast

By rstspb |

Great breakfast and service! Ate there twice in two days. Interesting menu options. Very farm to table.

Unimpressed

By carachil |

Had the special seafood risotto that included an astounding 2 shrimp and over cooked tuna. $30 a piece. Crappy atmosphere. Mediocre service and overpriced. Skip it.

Good food!

By Lori M |

They served awesome food. The staff were friendly and provided good service. Ate breakfast, dinner, and had drinks from the bar. Beautiful place.

Oracle World 2017

By Belinda J |

This restaurant is conveniently located in CQ San Francisco. I ate breakfast here twice during my stay. The service is quick and courteous. The food was made to order and portions quite large. My favorite selection was the vegetarian omelette, a side of avocado with salsa made in house. Fish & Farm did not disappoint!

Good solid fayre

By badger491 |

I was happy with the food and service I received. I went for an old favourite of Fish & Chips and it was very good. They had a good selection of beers and I tried a few, nothing bad and a few nice ones. Rather dark in the restaurant though and not the ambience for a romantic meal. If you are with friends though and just looking for some reasonable food and a beer then its a decent place to go.

The dark, bar-focused interior belies the healthful options

By visitall50 |

The clean design of the website doesn't match the dark wood interior of the restaurant, so if you're looking for a contemporary fish restaurant this is not your spot. Great place for a burger and a beer and enough to satisfy the salad-seeker in your group. The artichoke salad was excellent and without dressing reasonably healthful option.

Amazing Bar/Restaurant next to Club Quarters

By Ratchman |

Excellent bar staff! I showed up during Happy Hour (3:00-8:00 PM). The bar staff was quick to suggest an excellent IPA and they give all patrons samples before ordering. My Mussels Basquiere came piping hot with a small loaf of French bread for a price of $10.00. I would have been pleased to pay $20.00. My new favorite place for mussels! Order the Basque treatment of the mussels if you enjoy spicy foods. Otherwise stock with marinara. I'll be back for certain. The beer is fresh and delicious. Watching MLB at the bar while I enjoyed my meal is another plus. I LOVE this place. Great casual dining experience!

Delicious breakfast

By Sun Chaser |

I was staying next door at the Club Quarters Hotel and popped in for breakfast. The omelet was delicious. Coffee was refilled twice without me asking. Service was very fast.

Good Fish

By rlwlawrisk |

The restaurant has moved to 424 Clay Street. The food, service and ambiance was very good. The fish and chips I had were plentiful and prepared just right -- not greasy or over battered. The fries were some of the best ever.

Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else

By Daniel B |

Food was below average, They can't even cook pasta without turning into mush. Vegetables smelled like fish. They also found a way to make bacon look and taste unappetizing, I did not even know that was possible. The long haired hippie waiter was hard to find when you needed him.
