Margherita pizza and Spinach salad great shared lite lunch.

By Calico4 |

Early Saturday lunch. Spinach salad was fresh with apples, cheese crumbles and avocado. Shared for two for lite lunch 10$. Margarita pizza ($16) shared had 6-8 slices with fresh sweet tomatoes and basil, crispy thin crust and minimal cheese - though a little heavy on dried Italian seasonings was my only critique. Friendly staff at river side patio spot. This restaurant is located on lower level of Hilton Palacio del Rio. Recommend to arrive early for meal hours - expect wait times weekend evenings and lunch rush.

A Gem

Wonderful location and delicious food. A must when visit River Walk, will not disappoint. Our enjoyed the Beet Salad, Funghi Pizza - was so delicious , and the Chai Tiramisu, that we had 1st time and was to die for. Will definitely come back when visiting SA again.

South West Philly Pizza the best !!!

By Rafael C |

Looking for a pizza we found Fiume Pizzería at Riverwalk, San Antonio Texas. South West Philly Pizza was a very good experience. We recommend it. Nice place, people super nice. Everything good.

Sweet Texas Heat

By Cwtoland2013 |

This place has a diverse menu of pizza and pastas. The wine is spectacular and they have a great beer selection. The bartender, Dylan, recommended the Sweet Texas Heat pizza, it was delicious. Dylan is a great bartender!

Great Place on Riverwalk

Nice couples evening out. Food and service was really good. Had the classic Pepperoni and our waitress suggested the shareable Caesar Salad, good recommendation, added to our meal. Good wine selection.

The pizza and beer were very good. We liked the family-friendly atmosphere. The staff was efficient and really seemed to want us to enjoy the meal.

Great pizza, Upscale, Riverwalk Experience

By Adam S |

I do not drink alcohol, but I can review the pizza. It was delicious. I ate downstairs next to the Riverwalk, and the environment was enjoyable. It is quiet, upscale, and peaceful. If I had my kids, I’d have to eat outside where it was louder. Since I was alone, it was great. Made a friend while eating at the bar, and it is not so upscale that I couldn’t dress casual. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for pizza, but in an upscale fashion.

Great brick oven pizza

Delicious pizza and nice atmosphere. We also ordered a Cesar salad. The salad was good, the pizza was fantastic.

Excellent pizza and location

By Fábio M |

We had a Fungi pizza and a Margherita, both were sensational. They are prepared in a wood-fired oven. The best pizzas we've ever tried. The environment is beautiful, bathrooms are clean and the service is excellent. The restaurant is so amazing that it is always full, so plan to arrive early and request a table, or make your reservation online. We will definitely come back next time.

A must!

By Celine E |

We eat a lot of pizza, and I can honestly say that the pizza I had last night was the best I’ve ever had.. my husband agrees…we are both in our 50’s so we’ve been around the block a few times when it comes to pizza. We had Sweet Texas Heat pizza, sweet with a little kick, just delicious! I had a red sangria that also was delicious. Our waitress ( we sat at bar) was very friendly and attentive, wish I remembered her name, but you could tell she enjoys what she does. Made us lemon drop shots that we scrumptious. We’ve been here now 3 days, been eating at some good restaurants, but this was by far our favorite. Side note: EVERYONE we’ve ran into here in San Antonio has been incredibly friendly!! Shopping, bar hopping and restaurants.. we are truly enjoying our vacation here. Definitely coming back:)

Unbelievable

By LiveLaughLoveT_08 |

Hate a great lunch and decided to return for dinner (to-go). I was told to go inside for my to-go order. I placed my order at the bar as instructed then waited at the bar for my order. I had an almost gone cocktail in my hand. The young man who greeted me outside said nothing. The young lady who took my order said nothing. Then another man asks, are you done with your drink? Want me to throw it away? I said no. I placed a to-go order. He said I had to go outside. I could not have my drink inside. So I am outside. How will know when my order is ready? I am sitting outside on the riverwalk in everyone’s path as they walk by, waiting on a to-go order. Mistake….should not have returned. That is absolutely ridiculous for a to-go order!!!! Never again.

5 but for the mediocre service.

Food was spectacular. Some of the most authentic pizza I have had. The patio is well shaded and comfortable. One star lost due to lack of thoroughness and slowness of the service. Attentiveness was very poor.

Interesting take on Pizza

By Ddb2422 |

Definitely not your traditional Pizza joint. A attempt to be an upscaled restaurant and wine tasting establishment. Pizza selections have an artistic appeal and interesting. Tired the Mexican street corn pizza and still not quite sure what to think about it. Not filling after two pieces and left a funny after taste of fish. Cost is what can be expected on the river walk but think the family would have rather had domino’s or Pizza Hut.

Looking for something that wasn't Tex-Mex

By Hernando E |

The restaurant was easy to access right on the Riverwalk. Since we sat outdoors, I can't comment on the interior decor. The server was reasonably friendly, but not as attentive as she could have been (since we aren't demanding, this wasn't a particular problem for us). The service was a bit slow (but we weren't in a hurry). The food was very good; the prices were about what we expected for the area. Overall a fairly good experience.

Best pizza on river walk

By Mobile601152 |

I was expecting your typical pizza shop. Not so with this restaurant. Started with a glass of wine which was very good. Ordered the Pepperoni pizza. It was the best pizza I've had. The flavor was excellent. Crust is thin and so flavorful. You could taste the Oregano. They bring fresh parmesan cheese if you want additional cheese on top. What a great touch. They make it in a very large oven outside. Plenty of staff. Everyone was very friendly. It's on the River Walk at LA Villita, which is Trolley stop 18. Definitely worth the stop

Good pizza and a pleasant patio right on the river walk

By PDV |

The pizza was delicious. One pizza was enough for both of us. We sat on the outdoor patio which was very pleasant. The service was ok.

Great Pizza, Atmosphere and Service

Stopped in while staying at the Hilton and was pleasantly surprised. Pizza and wine were delicious. Atmosphere was cozy and service at the bar was top notch.

A great evening out

By Mark J |

We arrived around 6 pm and it was only the 3rd night open (Hours currently 5 -10 pm) the staff was very friendly and helpful. We sat at the bar and the bar staff were excellent at their job. The selection of Texas sourced drafts was good. We ordered the Italian pizza and it was above average. Natural ingredients and a true pizza oven make the difference I think. We had Tiramisu and it was wonderful. A great experience in all.

Very nice!

Really enjoyed both pizze and cocktail was delicious. It’s also such a nice walk! Wasn’t expecting much and was pleasantly surprised.

Not worth it

By Erick M |

First, the lousy attitude of the host, not a smile gives you away. Second, a totally gray waiter who simply takes your food without motivating you to drink anything else. I particularly mention the miserable avocado particles that spinach salad carries, it is a real rudeness. Finally and to close with a golden clasp, a cold cappuccino, served only half a cup. Already in the second round after complaining they handled it well. The food and seasoning is not bad, but with all of the above, it is not worth it. This is not to mention that tips of more than 18% are intended here in the United States. Let's make culture for unbeatable service.

Pizza by the river

By Ntrekker |

Very nice place along the riverwalk. Since it was 106 degrees out the indoor ac was very welcome. The pizza was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there for a late lunch but I think dinner here would be lovely.

Great pizza and beer

By jimles7 |

I was very happy with this pizzeria. The sweet heat pizza was awesome with the delicious toppings and awesome crust. The San Antonio draft beer was surprisingly great. Staff was top notch. Highly recommend this establishment.

Great spot for a great pizza.

By Honeymoon201107 |

Great spot on the riverwalk for a great pizza. Michael was a great waiter and recommended a fantastic sangiovese. Pizza was hot and delicious. Dough was light and delightful. Definitely would return!

Poor expensive service

By Ben L |

Painfully slow service. When the check arrived, we were charged a "mixed beverage tax", which I had never heard of. I questioned it. We had wine, no mixed beverages. Manager came and told me it is required by San Antonio. No other restaurants we went to charged it. An 18% charge was added for gratuity. I always tip, but not this much for poor service and not 18% on a bottle of wine with a screw top. We just felt cheated.

Can't eat Mexican food every day........

By Suzanne S |

GREAT location on The Riverwalk! We sat outside for a late lunch, enjoyed the river cruise boats go by and good people watching. The outside seating is very nice because people don't walk by right along side your table like many other places on the Riverwalk. Nice service and tasty Pizza Margherita. The yellow tomatoes were a nice switch from the traditional red. Fiume Pizzeria isn't a typical build your own pizza place. If that's what you're seeking this is NOT your place. The pizzas they offer are listed online menu.

Good food, poor service

By Ron T |

We had been walking the River and we were hot and a little hungry so we stopped at the Fiume for a drink and an app. We had the Burrata and ice tea. The burrata was very tasty, too bad Raymundo just took the plate off our table without asking if we were done. We were not but I guess he figured we were. Drink refills were hard to come by as was Raymundo when we wanted to pay the bill. Very poor service with good food

Evening pizza meal

By John C |

Really enjoyed the meal here, service was fantastic we were able to get in and get a table quickly since it was only the 2 of us. Pizza was fantastic overall great taste didn't add a Lotta sauce of the pizza, enjoyed a salad and a drink. Pretty reasonable prices restaurant is attached to the hotel in the lower-level sets right on the Riverwalk. Great dining experience in the evening watching the riverboats go by with all the lights. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy out there with all the people walking by but worth the wait to get a table outside by the Riverwalk. Plenty of food options I enjoyed the pizza myself.

Average At Best! Service was terrible!

By MasCabron23 |

A terrific restaurant set on the river walk. We were sat immediately but that is where the good service ended. We waited for a server for more than 30 minutes. Once the server arrived, his attitude and subpar service dominated our meal. He has a poor demeanor, slow and had zero personality. We ordered drinks, spinach salad and the classico pizza (pepperoni). The spinach salad was ok. I thought there was not enough dressing but my wife disagreed. The pizza was good. Maybe we were hungry but it was good enough for the moment. We probably would not visit this place again. There were better options on the river walk.

perfect evening

Food was excellent! Waitress Rebekah was incredible! She was perfect in every way, inobtrusive, attentive and even asked for ingredients of the fantastic pizza sauce for us. She was fabulous and the meal was perfect 5 stars will return for sure.

Unwelcoming to persons with developmental disabilities

By Erin S |

If I could rate this on a negative scale I would. I travel with a group of adults with developmental disabilities. We arrived at the restaurant to have dinner and were told it was an hour wait. No problem. We can have a drink at the bar and wait. We were told we could not because minors are not allowed at the bar. This is a group of adults, grown men with beards and very clearly grown women. They never asked to see ID's and said we could not sit at the bar. We have never felt so unwelcome as we did today.

Good pizza…. Great crust

By amorace |

We had the sausage bruschetta, and wow was that expensive but so great. Pizza was outstanding as well. Mushroom pizza stood out

Great food and view

By Jessica C |

Super great pizza and service! We each got a pizza, which ended up being more than enough food. A great view too, on a quieter part of the river walk.

Cute, hip and probably a nice date night

By Ke$ha D. |

So, this cute Italian establishment has such a classy ambiance of an entrance, got to sit outdoors by the river! My husband I shared the Italian Meatball Spaghetti dinner and it was good!(Let's say 7/10...the portions could he a little bigger- the flavor wasnt anything to brag home about (but not to rave about, either) especially for the price. I did also did nibble a slice of the Braised Short Rib pizza and that was pretty delicious!
