No Selection

As a huge lover of donuts I was super excited that there was a donut shop in Ponce City Market. There were really fun cute signs so I had high hopes. When I saw the donuts, they all looked like the exact same donut with a slight variation of frosting on them. I asked the girl.... she was like, oh they’re all completely different kinds of donuts. We bought 6. Nope. They all tasted identical... just with a touch of lemon or strawberry. The donut itself... exactly the same. And the frosting was dripping everywhere.... very watery. Maybe it was just the day we were there, idk, but I would not go back.

Don’t miss out on these!

By JP |

This is so hard to describe but these pastries are so good, probably my favorite I’ve ever had. They call them “cronuts”. I was skeptical but a friend insisted we go and I’m so glad I did. I even ended up going back to get a box to thank my parents who were keeping my dog. You have to try this! Its location is inside of a food hall fyi.

Cronuts

By Jurel H |

The only thing you will get from Five daughters Bakery, is delicious donuts. Sure you can get donuts anywhere, but you won't get a donut with a croissant texture just anywhere. You have so many donuts you can choose. These donuts seem like they are overly sweet, but looks are deceiving. These donuts are just right in every aspect. Unfortunately, at the time they only offered two gluten free donuts.

Donut walk by without a buy

By DawgExplorer |

These donuts are da bomb. They are large and filling and delicious. Typically I can only eat 2 and that fills me up. I love the Ponce City setting and Food Hall. Give it a try and then go run a few marathons to burn it off.

The BEST cronuts I have ever eaten

By Disney Chicka |

These ladies 100% know what they are doing. The layers and flavors are superb! Might be my new favorite dessert spot!!

Layers of goodnesd

By Conniemama |

The purist was a favorite. Like eating a really delicious croissant/doughnut. The salted chocolate was amazing also! Kids loved the cookies, we loved it and will be back!

Favorite donut in my life

By DawgExplorer |

I had seen about this establishment in Nashville but never made it there. The 100 layer donuts are actually 144 layers of croissant dough that give it a fluffy texture. They are not greasy or heavy. They are very flavorful and are huge. They are approximately twice as thick as a KK. I got a maple bacon which also had a cream filling inside. Wow. I also got the butter cream one which also has cream inside. My wife had the chocolate with chocolate cream inside. We both ate two and wanted more goodness but couldn't hold any more. The place is small so you will eat in the middle of the food hall. The employee was very happy and friendly. They also have bottled drinks available for purchase. Also, if you haven't been to Ponce then it is an experience in of itself. As for me this will be a stop every time I am in the area.

Donuts!!

By Granna2012 |

The donuts at Five Daughters are a cross between a donut and a croissant. They are 100 layers high! The flavors are terrific. The cherry one had bits of cherry between the layers and cream cheese frosting on top. These donuts are some of the best ever. You need to try them!

Oh Yum!!

A must, even if you are full!! the layered creme filled doughnuts are phenomenal. Service is attentive and fast.

Quirky doughnuts @ $4.50 each

By SpaChick2 |

Beautiful looking delicacies albeit a bit pricey! We tried the bacon maple glazed, the boston cream and the flaky croissant muffin with sea salt and butter. The croissant was the best.

Do NOT Miss This Bakery

By ColoradoTravelsWorld |

The Ponce City Market is an awesome place to go on its own...but don't get distracted and miss this cute bakery in the back behind the candy store. Their donuts have 144 LAYERS!!!! They're amazing to eat and each one could easily feed 2 people if you think you can share...but you're probably not going to want to! Delicious!!

More than one location!

By TXMARTINS |

With a great spot in Ponce they also have a walk up location in the Westside Provisions District. So many flavors, ridiculously good & addictive!

Best donuts in atlanta

By Shane Pants |

I am very donut picky and went on a quest this summer to find the best donut…..five daughters has won my heart with the glazed and dough. My favorite is their classic 100 layer donut. Also don’t buy one, get at least free and try them through the day, the best

I'm cronuts about these

By DawgExplorer |

Cronuts are not your average donut. They are like a croissant and a donut combined and are made out of fresh ingredients. They have about 5 everyday selections and then rotate other flavors. I have not had a bad one yet.

Expensive Splurge- Trendy donuts

By Silverfalcon3 |

Don't get me wrong we enjoyed them! I just think 8$ for 2 donuts is expensive. The market was packed and 5 sisters was too. I loved the cinnamon knots. The peanut butter chocolate was ok. I'd still prefer a custard filled Krispy Kreme or some Dunkin Munchkins but while in a trendy market why not give it a try.

Delicious Cups and Doughnuts

By ANDY K |

These cakes , doughnuts and cups are just perfect with a tremendous choice. We ended up sharing a Mini Malted Peanut Butter Cup ($3) and a Mini Raspberry Glaze ($2.75). Please make sure you treat yourself as they are hidden away on the ground floor !

Melt in your Mouth!

By Sam and Mandy |

This little gem, will leave you happy even if you need extra time at the gym to make up for it! We have visited with friends a few times, oddly later in the day, they have tasted even better! I think it’s after they have had time to be room temp! There has to be so much butter in these suckers, but they melt in your mouth. The GA version of the Cronut that originated in NYC. They are flakey soft layers croissant in donut form. The general consensus is that the Maple Glazed is the most yummy! There are vegan options available as well.

Yes please!

By mrshope_ful |

Let me start off by saying.... I have never been a fan of donuts until I had one here. The layers of buttery richness is so delightful. I tried the vanilla and the birthday cake. Yes, they are more expensive than your traditional $.99 donut. But, this is worth it as a treat every so often. An important note... you HAVE to eat them fresh. Eating one right away and then 10 hours later after our ride home the donut was heavy and greasy.

Must try the malted peanut butter cup!!

By luv4phood |

These doughnuts are so enticing in the display case that we skipped lunch and went right for the doughnuts!! And, wow!! We were not disappointed. The doughnut was a cross between the flakiness of a croissant and the doughy, sweetness that one expects in a doughnut. The cream filling was perfection!! We highly recommend skipping lunch and heading right to the doughnut counter!!

Perfect bakery

By ANDY K |

The standard of the produce at this place is amazing. So many imaginative flavours all served with a friendly smile. The prices are reasonable for the quality and we enjoyed the Malted Peanut Butter Cup and the Raspberry Glaze. A must not miss place to try

Paleo donuts

By ashee54 |

I really hate to give places bad reviews ...but while I had great friendly service .. . I tried the paleo Birthday cake donut was probably one of the worse things I have ever eaten. I literally had 1 tiny bite and had to throw it out. I have heard the other donuts are good but can't eat them. I was so excited... to only be extremely disappointed after the bite I had.

Another great surprise find!

By Paul J |

If you are visiting Ponce City Market, pop around the back to this place. These donuts are unique. Yes, a few places have had "Cronuts" before. These have frosting, topping AND filling in some. The Maple bacon has about 150 layers of dough topped a delicious maple frosting, crispy bacon and a buttercream filling. So good! They switch up the varieties and there are plenty to chose from. You must give these a try.

So tasty

By Jodi H |

This bakery doesn’t carry your run of the mill doughnuts. They have maple glaze with bacon, lavender, the Patriot & cronuts. I have wanted to taste a cronut ever since the big craze in NYC. Finally I found one! The Lemon Iced Box is delicious. Topped with lemon buttercream, cut in half & filled with lemon curd. So, so good 😊 If at Ponce City Market try just one.

Things that make you go mmmmm

By DawgExplorer |

Best donuts in ATL and I do not say that lightly. These are in a league of their own. The 100 players of croissant like texture makes for a sizable donut and then the various flavors take up another level. The maple bacon is my personal favorite. This location is located in Ponce City Market which is a great visit all own.

fantastic donuts . Very light

By Bruce M |

fantastic donuts . Very light in texture. My favorite is the glazed with the cream top. You eat one of these and you instantly become a donut snob because now you know what good donuts are.

Tasty

By Jemilla T |

We tried some of the donuts (Strawberry Fields, Maple, Chocolate and Purist). Our favorite was the Purist. It tasted like a cronut with vanilla icing. Very light and not too sweet.

So Good!!!!

By travelingjim53 |

We never missed these in Nashville and now so glad they are in Atlanta. Love the maple especially but all are really good. Not inexpensive but best you will ever have.

Best Doughnuts I’ve Had, Hands Down

By Beth C |

So tasty! Got to eat the Malted Peanut Butter Cup and the Cuban Cold Brew. To. Die. For. Both were so creamy and the donut itself so light and layered. Woke up the next morning craving more! Definitely a staple to my future Atlanta trips.

you need to stop

By ana |

After receiving a few recommendations for this place, I had to stop. It took us a while to find it as it's hidden back off the main strip and we had to ask for help, but SO worth it. The 100 layer donuts are amazing..so good that we came back again the next morning. 10/10 would recommend.

Inside Ponce City Market!

By katork |

In an area of PCM where several sweet places are located and not on the main aisle. The donuts are beautiful, a little expensive, but taste more like a cross between a croissant and a donut called a cronut. The sales person did not call it that. They are huge!

Worth a try

By travelgirl315 |

Expect to wait for these donuts priced at over $4 a piece. They taste similar to the Dunkin Donuts croissant donut, they have flaky layers in the middle. They were good, I just wasn't blown away. The lemon pucker up flavor was just awful. I think plain is the way to go here. The peach Quinn was very flavorful and could be compared to a bun.

Didn’t love it

By prncsp |

I visited the bakery tonight and got the Tiramisu donut. It was dry and hardly any filling. Perhaps because it was later in the evening they weren’t fresh but I would not spend $5 again there. Sorry.

Donut miss this spot!

By Elizabeth V |

One of the best donuts I’ve ever had! Both inside and out are extremely charming! This spot outside of the city is quiet and off the beaten path! There is plenty of outdoor seating and even more delicious choices of donuts and pastries. The vanilla cream 100 layer donut was amazing!
