Nice and chill

By cja2k1 |

Nice view, strong drinks, friendly service! We stayed in the hotel and it was a nice place to hang out for a nitecap. It can get a bit busy with the conference crowds, but the vibe stayed pretty chill while we were there. There was a woman playing her guitar and singing -- amazing voice -- so that was the icing on the cake!

5 Stars OnThe Hill

5 Stars On The Hill I had a,sumptuous fireside meal of new Zealand lamb chops and roasted carrots. Spiced roasted nuts too. So many wonderful flavors. Martin was excellent with his suggestions. Ill come back while i am here.

Stunning sunsets and so much more…

Stunning sunsets, healthy salads, peaceful live music, fantastic service— all of it was just the perfect escape from theme park overload. Romantic for couples, zen for solos, laid back for groups —— truly something for everyone!

The Best!

Our first time here we stopped in for taco Tuesday. The margarita flights were really good and I was impressed with the wannabe vegan tacos! They are a must try! We also stopped in for Sunday brunch. The chilaquiles were so good if I had room for another plate I totally would have!! Our server for both visits was Michael who was very attentive, talked with us, and gave us the best service! Five on the Hill is a place to check out and if you do, ask for Michael’s section, get the wannabe vegan tacos, the chilaquiles, and don’t forget the margarita flights! I wish I could have 1 more Tuesday for those tacos but we have to head back to Maui…until next time..we will be back!

Bringing with Friends and Family

I celebrated my birthday here on June 1st. We had chicken and waffles and so much more. Everyone ordered something different so that we could taste it. We not disappointed. We had flights of margaritas, champagne and yes, there was even a coffee flight with alcohol. Would I back again, Ye$$$$. Should you go? Why not, you only live once and we all need to experience good living, food and travel.

Music and services great!!!

We stumbled upon this gem yesterday we were unsure of where to go and we started researching and this five on the hill got very good reviews so we went to check it out. The food was very very good. The service was excellent. I believe the gentleman‘s name was Jesus who was so courteous and nice and very helpful And I think what made our night were the two performers, Spanish guitar player and young girl, playing keyboards and singing their choice of songs was perfect from every single decade. When will they be back again and please keep them coming back because we definitely are going to return. Thank you for the great service and all the staff at five on the hill .

Good option for a nice meal for special occasions at studio city Hollywood

Nice staff and the seafood platter was very good. The wine flight was a great way to try different wines on the menu. Pretty flower decor but I was expecting an indoor place but it is like a temporary structure built outside Hilton studio city entrance and on top of garage. The view was not what was advertised.

Golden Happy Hour

Datenights during Golden Hour will definitely elevate your date and shine in a new light. Just imagine an elevated experience overlooking the Hollywood hills, a classy setting without leaving the comfort of regular clothes, delicious food and cocktails, acoustic music and the soft glow of the setting sun. Five on the Hill will definitely set the foreground for an intimate dinner and also make the perfect back drop to unwind with family and friends. Did I mention it's an outdoor dining experience next to Universal Studios!? A true hidden gem that can take you from the parks to relaxation in a short walk from the mahem of a theme park. As a regular I do love to frequent here all days of the week. Taco tuesday specials are an excellent way to unwind with delicious maragrita flights for $15 or knock it out with just one signature margarita for the same price. The flights are an absolute delight for anyone wanting to get that amazing Instagram photo. Usually when I visit on taco tuesday it is with a party of 3 so we tend to share our food. I will be honest even though two tacos is not bad, I feel one more taco would hit the spot just right to be considered filling. My personal favorite is the Wannabe Vegan however our entire table will agree the Barbacoa is the defending champ. Having trouble deciding? Why not opt in for the taco flight which also makes deciding and sharing easier. The real star of any night will definitely be date nights during Golden Hour. The setting sun casting a soft glow, sitting around one of the firepits which are very wheelchair friendly or hightop over looking the hillside. Serenade your senses with a wine flight or premium glass for $10, or delicious bites to tame any appetite. Listening to the sound of acoustic music, the smell of "Drunken Nuts" being prepared table side make for a personal experience. From 5pm-7pm you can do just that. You don't need a date to enjoy this amazing time but it is definitely one of my favorite datenight places to visit. Although I am a flights girl my partner and I are cocktail enthusiasts. The Gold Rush is as beautiful as the setting sun with flakes of gold to garnish your drink and surrounds your taste buds with a sweet bourbon kiss. My personal favorite is their Smokin' Cherry. A drink with its own presentation will definitely catch everyones attention. As someone who cannot always walk on my own I do love how accomodating dining here is. They are welcoming for guest of all abilities and have ample room for my wheelchair. After a day in the parks with family and friends we usually opt to take the complimentary hotel shuttle from city walk over to the resturant. Having a handicap shuttle makes getting here extremely easy and I highly recommend using it for any park goer. If you are just coming to dine, there is parking available at the hotel and Five on the Hill offers validation. I love having options for places to go with my wheelchair and this place provides multiple seating options to remain in my chair or transfer to a regular seat at the table. Overall Five on the Hill will provide an incredible dining experience for all and is a winning hidden gem located within the Hollywood Hills.

A find on top of the hill!

We had a dinner with 25 women and there was not one complaint amongst us! Our server, Leslie was fantastic and helped make the experience memorable. The cocktails were wonderful and the food fantastic. Every one loved their meal and sitting outside watching the sunset and then sitting under the starts made for a perfect California night!
