Whenever we come to Miami, we eat at Flanigans. Bar food made to perfection. Friendly service and excellent bar food. We always order to start the onion strings and the chicken wings, which are amazing. The ribs are amazing. We also love the burgers and prime rib.

We loved this place. We were staying in coconut grove for 5 nights and spent every evening in here. A great bar with tremendous food. The staff work so hard and it never stops. We had the steak meal deal and the food was well cooked, tasted great and came with a side salad rolls and a drink. It has to be the cheapest bar we have been to in Florida and a shout out to all the lovely ladies and gents serving behind the bar and the restaurant.

I simply love it here. This wasn't our first time but every time we know what to expect. I will say it's been tough during COVID and there are often lines, but they seem to be managing it well. You may have to wait for 10 mins or so. Service is always good. Servers are personable and swift. Food is pretty standard - ribs, burgers, wings, etc. I love the seafood here too. I had shrimp and it was great. The chicken sandwich wasn't so good. Good selection of salads as well. Drinks are cold and plentiful. If you are looking for a fun bar and grill that is bustling- this is a great place to go in the Grove.

Flannigans has always been good. This visit was proof of that. Service was fast and friendly, food was good and very plentiful. Price was very fair. Definately a “go to”.

The hotel staff recommended several places within walking distance. There were 4 of us and given individual likes/dislikes, we chose Flanigan's. We were NOT disappointed. From the moment we walked through the door, Daniella and Ivan were extremely attentive to all 4 of us. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks/food. During our time there, it was obvious that this is a place where locals relax after a day's work and converse with each other. Shirt and ties meet up with tee shirt/shorts to talk about their day/ their families etc. The food was very good. Ivan and Daniella made us feel like we were locals - a Coconut Grove Cheers.

Great local place that we have been coming to for a couple of decades. I dream of the fresh dolphin sandwich and each time it is the best. Served with lettuce and tomato on a fresh kaiser roll. The coleslaw is also outstanding. Although, they pride themselves on the baby back ribs, claiming to serve over a million pounds per year at their various locations. I also love the abundant nachos, with all the fixings, at the bar. New England clam chowder is also a hit. This place is family friendly, single friendly, elderly friendly, younger friendly, etc. It is both a restaurant and a great bar with people of all ages and social status hanging out shoulder to shoulder and then there are dining rooms with singles, workers, families, couples, etc. It is all encompassing and inviting.

The setting is convenient to most all of the Grove. The nautical theme is inviting, and the atmosphere is festive. We got the ribs (could not have been better), & washed them down with a few Sam Adams on draft. The service was excellent ... Friendly & efficient. We will go back!

This is one of my favorite hangouts whenever in Miami. It has been totally renovated and what used to be the Liquor Store is now part of the restaurant providing ample inside and outside seating. I´m familiar wit the menu and their daily specials. My favorite day is Wednesday, when you can get free wings with the purchase of a pitcher of beer. Great place to go with friends and enjoy the great food, attentive service and sports in one of their many televisions.

I can't help but rave about Flanigan's. Formerly known as "Big Daddy's" when I lived in South Florida, this Seafood bar and grill, has gotten better through the years. I was looking for a late-night meal near Coconut Grove, so I arrived at about 10:30. Amazingly crowded, I was fortunate to find a seat at the bar. I was attended to promptly, and ordered a draft Yuengling (less than $3.00!). My meal was a half-rack of baby back ribs, and they were the best I have had! Even the cole slaw was good. I made two new friends at the bar, Luis and Marco, who were Miami residents, formerly from Italy. They let me sample their prime rib, and it too, was superb. I mean prime rib at a sports bar? Flanigan's is also known for having great chicken wings. If you don'g mind the crowd and the noise, this place is wonderful! I wish there was a Flanigan's in Tampa.

Excellent restaurant. Great service 100% of the time! The bartenders always remember you, remember your drinks, and remember your story! They are eager to serve you and very attentive throughout your stay! The food is great especially the chicken stickers!! Price is always great😃

This place was amazing. Ivan the bartender treats his guests like royalty. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the coconut grove area. I would travel to the area just to eat there!! I ate surf and turf and took advantage of happy hour. Great place!

Bar seats can go fast! Don't be scared to put your name on the list for the table, they turn the tables over quickly. Service at the bar from Ivan is always top notch. Love all of the Flannigans meal deals, lunch specials and frequent diner cards. You will find them all over South Florida and the liquor store rocks too!

We went for the first time. Our order was wrong many times. The waitress apologized because she was just starting out. We waited 50 minutes. The food was good but we were left hungry for so long because of the waitress' inexperience.

the food is fresh and the service is very fast regarless of how full it is Good burgers Very goos wings and good ribs

their baby back ribs are great not dripping sauce just enough. the hamburgers are always great. good wine by the glass. fresh fish - and after 10 stamps you get 1 free lunch. :)

Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Rude incompetent waitress. I had to go to the bar after fifteen minutes to get a glass of water.

This is one of Mama's favorite places to have lunch. There is usually plenty of parking. Its Miami so you end up with idiots parking in the crosshatched area between the cars in the handicapped spots, but that's not the restaurants doing. There are great freebies with drink pitcher purchases. We love the loaded nachos with the raspberry iced tea.

I was in town on business and a long time client/friend and his wife wanted to go here. It's a bar, but definitely kid/family friendly and safe (the table next to us was 4 Miami Dade police officers). The beer is good and cold. The service is awesome. The food is fantastic. Food cook/delivery time is very fast (even though the restaurant was full). The menu selection is extensive (something for everyone) and unique. And the price is very reasonable. Not the place for a quiet, romantic meal or upity clients, but perfect for a fun, sports bar type environment (they have a lot of TVs). With appetizers, entrees and (a lot of) beer, we were out the door at around $20 a head. If you're looking for a local restaurant-bar, you've found it. Get the dolphin fingers.

Michael & I had lunch on Saturday, while looking @ new cars. We had no luck on the car search. And the lunch special are not good on week end, but the food was very good.

I went there with my family, just for a beer and a snack, but given the time we decided to order food to take home. We place the order for food to take out around 5:15 pm and there my wife ordered a corned beef sandwich. The food was taking an unreasonable time, and the waiter was doing a very good job keeping us updated. Management offered dessert for free when waiting time reached 40 minutes. Do not get me wrong, the snacks and beers were very good, service has no problem, but the point is that if we order something and they ran out of it, please let us know and we will change the order. The Manager came to us at 1 hr waiting and all paid off to let us know that they ran out of corned beef, so we ordered something else, got our food and left. My only point is that we should be told about the issue with corned beef, or tell the waiter and he will let us know, instead of keeping us waiting for an hour

It is the god of BBQ ribs, the best, good service and pleasant atmosphere. Very good nachos and burgers. Good cold tea. Every time I have the opportunity to travel, a visit to FLANIGAN'S is a must.

Reservation was made for 8 pm for 25 people we sat down at 8:20. The hostess named liky or something similar and Erik the manager told us there was no reservation made. They sat us at a table then the manager Erick sat us then told us to get up. We were told to wait 15 or 20 more minutes for the table. unacceptable service last time we were here we spent over a $1000. I look very bad in front of my guests. Imagine you count with a reservation for 25 people and then this happen. Why is it that the first time my team and I came here with a reservation we had no problems, however, this time it was the biggest issue.

We heard about Flanigan's by Googling best seafood restaurant near Miami. This was the first to pop up. Boy, was Google correct about this!!! Having traveled a large portion of the globe and shrimp being one of my favorite foods, trust me when I tell you that Flanigan's shrimp is one of the best things you will ever put in your mouth! My sweetheart and her son raved about the sweet potato fries too. I never noticed before how often they order them, but now all are measured against Flanigan's and none have even come close to being equal. The same holds true for the shrimp. Wait staff were professional and courteous. The manage came by the table to see if we were satisfied. I assured him this was easily the best seafood we have ever eaten. Take this in context: we are from the Georgia coast and now live on the Florida coast - in other words, we know our seafood! To say this is the best is no small thing. The only complaint I have was echoed by my sweetie and her son: the music was too loud and not good (sucked is the word used). Will that keep us from coming back? Probably not. The food is that outrageous. If you are in the Miami area stop by Flanigan's. Not doing so is robbing you of the best seafood you will ever eat.

Very nice spot, good food and great atmosphere. Ribs are lovely, meaty, tasty and good size. Chicken is very tasty and well cooked. Fish also very good. Fresh salads and quite reasonable prices. Service is great and friendly staff. Great buzz about the place. Open very late for night owls !

Took my out of town family for dinner and wow was I embarrassed. Rachel the server was so rude and angry, she dropped my cousins plate on the table because her order was incorrect. The Martin was so unprofessional and unpleasant, just don’t go you won’t miss anything…

Been eating here for almost as long as I can remember. I HATE BBQ sauce and order Flanigan's fries just so I can eat theirs. It is the ONLY BBQ sauce I will eat. I haven't eaten meat in years but I assume they still have the best ribs in the world because of the sauce. The chocolate cake was good too! Too bad it took 40 minutes to get Fries and Cake for takeout at 10PM Saturday night...

You cannot beat the prices and the amount of food you receive for lunch, tastes great too! Buy 10 lunches and get the next one free! Environment is fun for all times of the day, also busy, parking sometimes difficult but it is worth it!

Our party of four people had ribs, chicken, and fried shrimp. Everything was excellent. Service was excellent. We would definitely return here.

Local Coconut Grove hang-out with a great 1/2 off happy hour every day until 7 o'clock. Food OK- standard fried bar fare and sometimes the music is too loud to watch your favorite game, but friendly and local just the same.

This restaurant is at the entrance of the Coconut Grove neighborhood. We live in this area and have patronized this restaurant for many years, with consistent good results. Friendly place. Great ambiance. It is one of the few restaurants that is always busy. Relaxed atmosphere. The parking lot is crowded, so we usually park on the street, and pay the additional $2 to $3 in parking meter.

01/19/20 21:40. Attention, stay away if you are foreign tourists. Disappointed by some people of the staff. After pouring my beer in my kid's cup because I would like to leave, a lady came following by Xander 30 second later (the manager). She told me " give me the cup, give me the cup". It looks like the SWAT arrived and stop me for the cup. Please RELAX, Just talk to me gently, I don't want to make problems. I dislike to feel to be arrested by rude cops. I was surprised when they came fast like this ==> because at the beginning of the night when I sat outside with my son, we waited 10-15 min and nobody came to ask us if we wanted to drink or eat something. I had to walk inside and ask to the blond lady behind a desk a menu. Next time I know what to do: pouring my beer in a cup ;-) even the manager will come. FYI I came often in this bar and I was a good client. Just work on your manners.

This place is a great family restaurant and bar. I have the rocking rib rolls almost every time I go. I also enjoy the Philly chicken sandwich and french fries. My son always gets the Buffalo chicken. With decorations on the wall of fish and fishing photos, it is a great place to enjoy a Saturday or Sunday afternoon of football.

the food at flanigan's is really good and decent service. i go to watch football games with friends and is one of our favorite spot in the coconut grove area.

I have been to this flannigans several times but definitely won’t be back for a while! Monica the bartender couldn’t have been ruder and also overcharged us when we had a $5.99 free lunch coupon and then gave us sass when explaining it to her. I mean $11 cash was missing from our change. So then Monica acted like she didn’t know what happened when it showed a $3.60 discount and called alvero over. Our food came out wrong 35 minutes later only reason she noticed is because we asked her. The manager Alvero didn’t help when telling him we wanted our money back and to leave due to how rude she was he simply said is there something wrong with the beer? When asking on our refund for the beer ummmm no but your bartender is extremely rude so why would we stay here?? She also put the wing order in later we never received our food in the hour of being there.. when explaining to Alvero about the situation he didn’t listen and wasn’t friendly and Monica chimed in when we weren’t even talking to her. Can’t believe how bad the customer service has gotten. All and all we were there an hour and no food and no smiles!

Went for Mexican Monday, what a great deal. Their app specials are wonderful. Prices great and super friendly servers. Nice decor and athmosphere.

Great customer service and the food was delicious. This was a lovely place to bring the family and we came here more than once when we were on holiday.

Lots of food for the money - good food. We bought a pitcher of tea (yes, we are hardcore) and got free nachos. And it was HUGE plate of nachos. The food was incredible. This is a MUST if you are in the Coconut Grove area!

The deals? The service? I don’t know what else you could want. It is always consistent. Rick the manager checked on me throughout my whole experience. Bernie, while dry and humorous, which I appreciate, was fantastic. It’s a true welcoming neighborhood restaurant good for kids, adults and the rest. Thank you Rick and Bernie. Just a fantastic experience. Will be back.

very nice place, good food, young people attending you in good shape, well educated waiters, nice environtment music at level in which you can talk with who you are

We've never been when the service and food wasn't impeccable! Weekends are super busy but have never waited more than 25 minutes which is pretty decent in the Grove.

The place is very good, good food. something loud, very loud music, the staff very good and helpful, more or less clean bathrooms, service it takes a little about 20 minutes even for drinks, but it is generally a good thing busy place.

Went on a Saturday night. Waited for a table for an hour, but boy was it worth it. Started with nachos. Very large portion. Ribs were fantastic. Service was excellent. It definitely a happening place. Young adults will love it. Saw many different groups; young families, older couples, young adults.

Rustic decor, friendly staff and good food characterize this place. If you eat nothing else, try their legendary ribs and the grilled salmon, The salmon was cooked to perfection, something which I rarely encounter. Moist succulent inside without being overcooked. Great place to share a meal and drinks with family or friends. You feel perfectly at home.

The world-famous chain that had to go to Dubai! Being in America, sin would not be visited! Atmosphere fire! 4:00 p.m. is full! Ribs are crazy! It's okay! But... Calculation and bill comes out more than declared! Why not? Turns out the promotional cocktail, which the waiter himself offered not even at the regular price, but even more expensive by $2 . Can you tell me anything? Yes! But the draught remained (((

My husband and I started going to Flanigan's 20 years ago when we first met. Now we are going with our two kids. Service is consistent, Joe's rib meal deal is still delicious and our favorite menu item. We enjoy just sitting at the bar or eating in one of the booths. They play lots of 80's music which we love and the crowd is always having a good time.

If you want a hamburger go no further than Flanigan's. We went on a Friday evening and the place was jumping with energy with a healthy mix of young and not so young! The service was good and the menu was plentiful. I would definitely recommend the Hamburgers and the key lime pie. I have had the ribs in the past, as quality and taste is concerned, not far from their hamburger and the key lime pie. I am not a fish eater, but my family members did like their fish plate choices.

My husband and I visited Flanigan's in the Grove, or "Flany's", a few nights ago. The Hostess instantly greeted us and walked us to our table. Our Server, ATL, was excellent and he took great care of us. We had their famous fried wings, regular not hot, with blue cheese dressing on the side. The wings were literally served within minutes and they were delicious! Then, we shared yet another favorite, the Baby Back Ribs with curly fries and a baked potato. The ribs fell off the bone and were full of outrageous flavor. We had plenty of leftovers. I would recommend this Flanigan's to everyone and would most definitely return. Oh, try the Rib Rolls, they are outstanding.

This was our first time here and it was awesome! The place is really cool and just covered in fishing and Irish decor. The food was awesome and so inexpensive!!!! The staff were friendly and service was fast even though the place was packed! Will definitely be back next time we are in Florida!

We stopped in for a drink and appetizer and hoped to find a server who could give us an idea of other places to try in the area. All of the open tables in the restaurant were dirty when we arrived and we had to wait for them to clean one off for us. (Maybe this is their operating model so you know it's clean? Because all of the tables stayed dirty while we were there.) We ordered drinks (I asked for a tall captain & diet, my son said he'd have the same - I got a tall, his was short...??) and an appetizer (potato skins). The skins arrived before the drinks did. But they were delicious.

Great food, fantastic lunch' special. I said it was great food and a fantastic lunch special at lunchtime

Not a fancy place. However, very comfortable with good service. Good choice of beers. Ribs are very good. Reasonably priced.

We went durning a dolphins game and the service and drinks were very reasonable. But the prices on the chicken wings were very expensive. Therefore I thought the value of food is average

I went with my kids and girl to eat at Flanigans Friday July 25 , which by the way i am a loyal customer since 20 years ago,So when we get there we are waiting for the table so me and my girl decide to go get a beer at the bar while we wait for our table,so i ask Eric the bartender if he can assist me with a heineken and corona for myself and lady and the answer was i dont have time right now i can't assist you I was surprised , Terri one of the waitress was watching that i was surprised by the answer he gave me , she had to go over where i was to ask me what did i need and got me what i wanted , now that is customer service great job terri.later on when the manager went to my table i explained to him what happen and his answer was ill talk to him.I a a fluent customer of flanigans all over south florida from doral to nmb to broward you name it this is bad experience i had at the loggerhead, I will be taking my business else where to another flanigans.

No doubt about it, Flanigans have the best baby back ribs in town, must try, and always the service is A+, be back there next week .

Don't came at this place this place had the worse customer service ever. The beer is not cold and the bartender is unprofessional I don't recommend this place

This place is always full, the food is all american style (ribs, steaks, wings, etc) rock & roll music and sports bar.

This review is based on the Happy Hour experience I had when I went with my friend. We had a great time at this location of Flanigans on Coconut Grove. It turns out that this place has been here for more years than I thought and I understand why... Good food Family friendly Wonderful background music Great prices and Amazing service. Our bartender was a lady and she treated us sooooo nice, she prepared the drink exactly the way we wanted, my cosmo and my friend's margarita. Thank you!

Ribs were excellent as advertised. Fried shrimp was unique and very good. On Saturday, all drinks are half price until 7:P.M. Service was also top notch.

Always happy to eat at Flanigans. I thought it was time I write a review. Highly recommended. Captain Jeff and family

I always enjoy eating here. I have been dozens of times over the last 30 years. The ribs are always good and the clam chowder.

This is a very nice restaurant with generous portions. Value for money although nothing is cheap. Being avid scuba divers, we were horrified to see dolphin steaks on the menu.

Great food beer and atmosphere a nice variety of food. And European beers. Always a good time. Clean and friendly

Food was good, but the bartenders here simply cannot make any mixed drinks. We asked for a Rum Runner and out came something pink that tasted like cotton candy. We sent that back and asked for a Pina Colada figuring they coul handle that. Wrong. It tasted like vanilla ice cream shake. Gave up and just went with beer & wine. Food was good. Very large portion on the salad. Our waitress was very professional in returning the bad drinks.

We were able to walk to this restaurant from our hotel. Great atmosphere and menu is huge. The wings were awesome and the homemade cole slaw was phenomenal. Prices are moderately priced so great for a family. Plus TVs to watch games.

I hadn't visited this particular Flanigans since the renovation and expansion. I have to say that the service has gone downhill considerably. We went to meet up with some friends for a few drinks and food. We all ordered well-known uncomplicated drinks. The waiter didn't know the difference between a Flat Tire Amber Ale and a Guinness. The name gives it away. The Fat Tire has a reddish color while Guinness is black as night. Our friends ordered a Moscow Mule and a whiskey + 7up. Well that proved to be a problem as the drinks brought out were incorrect. Not once but twice. Our friend that ordered the Moscow Mule finally gave up and ordered a beer. You can't possibly mess that up, right? I had to get up several times to find out waiter for silverware, napkins, another drink order and the checks. One of the ladies in our party didn't get her food until 30 after everyone received ours. No explanation. No apology. I never had these kinds of issues before at Flanigans and I was a pretty regular visitor in the past. I certainly haven't been missing anything since the renovation and expansion and I'm sure I won't miss anything as I have no intention of returning.

By far, the best baby racks ive had at any place. The meat would just fall off the bones. easy parking and decent ambience as well. The service was great as well.

This place had some good reviews so decided to try. Was not disappointed it was so busy we had to wait about 15 mins for a table the plates of food was huge so if you have a good appetite this is the place for you. Enjoyed it very much will go back next time in Miami

Flanigans has been my most visited restaurant. Enjoy Monday nights with Fully loaded Nachos with a purchase of a pitcher , from the fish dip, well cooked salmon, to the hot chicken stickers, to the daiquiri and Flantini drinks! Not to mention the tasty desserts! I love this place. Always nicely decorated as the holidays go by. Fun , Rock and Roll atmosphere! ;)

My family and I went to Flanigan's for dinner the day before we were to leave for North Florida. After we finished dinner and paid the bill, we still had drinks to finish so we asked the waiter if we could move from our table to one of the tables facing the side street, which had been open for nearly an hour and he said "of course". A little later, after we had been sitting and talking for a while, a waiter comes over and says that the manager told him that we needed to move. I told the waiter that we were told that we could sit there and we were not willing to move. That if the manager wanted us to move he would have to tell me himself ... (meanwhile, my wife who does not enjoy confrontations, gets up and starts to walk towards our hotel) The manager comes over and tells me that I have to move. I told him that I had just spent over $200 on very bad food and weak drinks. That I owned an ad agency and that he probably did not want to kick me out. He's response was "move now!" I did move while telling him to screw himself (all this is happening within earshot of the "waiting line") so they got to hear how they would be spending their money on weak drinks and stomach churning food! I will never go back, specially when Berries in the Grove is less than a block away!

Flanigan's has the best ribs in town. Seems like anytime we go they are offering the two for one with drinks, even at 11 in the morning. The tumbleweed onions are also very good. Parking is sometimes hard.

Was in Miami for a cruise and looking for able cal place for dinner. Flanagan’s was perfect. Great food, good local atmosphere and really friendly service. I had the 1/2 rack ribs and fried shrimp with sweat potato fries- it was great. Very reasonable and good food.

There are around 40 Flanigans locations in South Florida. This one has the least intelligent, slowest, uninformed waiters and waitresses and over-priced food. Incredibly rude. I do not recommend going here. My friend also got food poisoning. That sums it up here. Go to "Berries in the grove" down the street it's much better!

September 19 2025 5:30 pm A bartender didn't know how to make a very old traditional drink, the famous and delicious Rum Daikiri. I ordered it and got a horrible strawberry frozen thing, I explained her what I wanted and fail to do it right for the second time. She developed an attitude and told me it can be done, I had to leave disappointed.

I have been bringing my foldable mini scooter for years and stow it under my table. Today a "clever" manager asked me to go eat somewhere else, because my scooter battery may blow anytime !! No need to OFFEND clients asking them to leave.... instead of providing a space for all the scooters. What about the 200 batteries in the clients phones? $30 x 50 weeks x 2 days : $3.000 less for Flanigan's in 2025 🥴 If you have your scooter with you, I recommend eating at their neighbor Berrys 😀, over there the batteries are less likely to explode 🤣

Not sure why there are so many of these restaurants in Florida. The good is so so at best. This location was SUPER dark and dingy. The service was amazing (this is why I have it a 3)…however the food was ok, the ambience was not good and I would never choose one of these restaurants again.

We heard that they had great ribs and we love ribs. Upon arrival we were seated right away. Our server Jessica was like Johnny on the spot. We told her this was our first time and she explained the menu and made several suggestions. It was happy hour 50%off all drinks except pitch of beer. I got the ribs and my wife got the seafood gumbo and the kids got the philly cheese steak sandwich. We also got an order of there garlic butter rolls. All the food was AMAZING!!!! The manager Robert came by as well to check on us to make sure all was well!! Jessica was always nearby but wasn't a pest!! Our cups were never empty and when we finish with a plate it was taken away rickytick!!! If your out and about you need to check this place out, you want be disappointed!!!cant wait to go back!!

We were visiting Miami back at the end of Sep, for four days, and Flannys was our first stop after moving out of Miami in over three years. Sarai was our Server; she was very sweet and attentive to our needs. We ordered some adult beverages, including Joe Pale Ale, which were served within six minutes. I had to request the silverware. The appetizer and meals were delivered within under 15 minutes. All of the food tasted fresh and delicious! All in all, I would definitely return and recommend this location!

Come on now, if your reading this review you already know how awesome flanigans is. The staff is amazing, lets just start there. Royce and Eric at the bar are awesome. Royce always remembers my beer and the rest of the staff just seems like they're one big family. I've been here in the middle of the day after a business meeting for lunch, the service was prompt and on point. I've been here with the family and the kids during rush hour for an early dinner, the kids were spoiled with crayons and fries. Been here at 3am with friends curing our hunger pains after a night of you know what, the place was just us enough. I could go on and on, but my point will remain the same. All walks of life are welcome here at most hours...please keep the kids at home after 9pm lol. The food will be right out and the prices still amaze me. They could raise prices on everything by $5 and most would still got here as much they do. Almost forgot...if you're having a chicken Philly sandwich have it blackened, it might change your life.

Both the chicken wings and ribs are good and they have a good selection of draft beer on tap. Portions are large, so you might want to consider sharing. Our service was good even though the restaurant was crowded. Sitting outside is a nice option when the weather is cooler. Parking can be a challenge directly around the restaurant. They have additional parking next to their liquor store but you have to enter from 27th avenue.

I love the Location! It's one of my favorite restaurant/bar it’s always awesome and clean. The food is always bomb! And the drinks are always really good. They are really good to make sure everything goes well. This is a great place to come with anyone: friends, family, business meeting etc. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Great place to watch sports and have some good tasting bar food It can get packed on weekends or on sport nights so be aware on what days you go. Food is good and they were friendly. Over all it was a nice visit. Great service as usual.

A friend bring me to eat and the place was very good & clean. Definitely i recomended. Over all great place!

always good food at fair prices with all the current live sports on TV's throughout the restaurant. The drinks are generous and the beer is cold a great bar that is usually very busy.

Call me late, but Flanigans has a special on Mondays, Free Mountain of Nachos if you order a pitcher 🤪 We got beer for our pitcher! We will definitely be back next week! The bartenders were on point and very accomodating! Great time..

Ribs, wings, fish dip and beers are always a secure bet. This is a neighborhood bar with friendly service and kids friendly.

Been to Flanigans many many times! The best hamburgers, salads, RIB ROLLS and of course ribs. Casual, good service and good food! The only drawback, is limited parking, always have a hell of a time finding a parking place, but that does not deter us from going!

We arrived in Miami late on Christmas Eve. Our hotel directed us there - it turned out to be one of the best dinners of our vacation. Huge portions, delicious food, great prices!

my friends and I went back multiple times durning our stay in Miami. the food was amazing, especially the ribs!

I had high expectations and they met them. Definitely want to come back. Wings are great! Bring on the beer!

Visited for dinner bring it was close by our hotel and what a great choice it was! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was awesome! Most of all the food and drinks were great and priced right! I highly recommend for anyone visiting the coconut grove area of Miami.

Didn't feel like the snotty, high priced Grove food scene during our visit, so we hit this place not one, but both nights of our trip. They have specials that are so good, you literally can't cook at home this cheap. The employees all seemed very nice and helpful even with the busy pace of this bar.

Great food and drinks. Great specials. I love the free food with a pitcher of Soda or Beer after 10 pm. Free wings!. One day we ordered a burger,as dinner another we had Prime rib. Both excellent. A bar, with bar food that we enjoyed. Noisy, but I will come everytime I visit Miami. I will eat thee at least once, maybe more. They are KNOWN fr the Ribs, but we d not eat pork.

recently reopened, very busy, high volume place that the family loves. The ribs, entre salads, fish entrees and kids entrees are all superb. This location serves the same high level of food as other locations. Brownie dessert with ice cream which my grand-daughter talked us into, was absolutelya waist buster, but incredible. Friday night's are very crowded but seating is plentiful and wait wasn't too long even at 7PM. Parking lot is small and auxiliary lot on 27th Ave is large.

I was there in late dinner time. it was full of people but waitresses were very kind and asked us many times if we need something or if everything is ok. Good portion of food is tasty and for a good price. Certainly I will visit the restaurant next time when I will be around.

We stopped here because we were starving and needed a cold beer and something to eat. And it sure was a great spot! The fish dip and chicken wings we ordered were amazing and the beer was in point! Service was fast and most importantly, friendly!

I had a bad experience with the food, which arrived cold and the manager automatically knew how to solve the problem. I left the place, but thanks to his good will, the next day I returned and it was perfect.

Even when the food is just good, service is terrible, dirty glasses and humidity odors all over the place. First time and Never come back again.

You have to love this place....they have magnificent ribs and great wings....Good beer on tap selection

This is a florida chain. It is a good meal and they have a ton of specials and cheap drinks. Dont expect a 5 star meal, I would compare to a TGIFridays or Applebees. Dont try to order fancy, stick with a burgrer or sandwhich.

Restaurant was close to our hotel so we gave it a shot. Should have left as soon as we walked in. Very loud music that made it difficult to talk and understand the waitress. We ordered drinks and left before we finished them. Walked down to Berries restaurant and had a very good experience.

Walking distance from Hampton Inn Coconut Grove--great ribs and the best happy hour. Happy Hour is half off all drinks even on Saturday from noon-7pm in bar. Had fun time!

2nd time here and it was terrible. Food is not even close to worth the price and service was bad. Not worth the time!

great meal. Prime rib and rocket rib rolls. Everything was just great. The food, the service and everyone there goes out of their way to make you fell welcome. I will visit every time I'm in Miami. Oh, the bar is pretty good too.

Visited Flanagan’s on two occasions during our recent visit to Surfside. Good food and good service. Would highly recommend the ribs and wings.

WE have been in this restaurant a few times for the kids in my family like it. It is a sporty atmosphere, but a bit noisy. The food is plentyful and so are the drinks. I recommend it..

the loggerhead is a great place for reasonably priced food and drink. The service is great and it is always busy here. They have a happy hour that starts at 9pm on saturdays. I paid $2.14 for a beer that costs over $7 dollars at the nearby Berries. Berries is a rip off with beer costing more than your food while the loggerhead is well worth the visit.

Steaks are great, [rices are moderate, atmosphere is great! Nice place to hang around on Friday evening or weekend lunch.

great food, great service in a casual fun atmosphere! Easy parking and great for sports with lots of TV's. Always a fun time!

Being from California, this is the best Bar in Miami. You have to sit at the bar though, I have rarely sat at a table. The service at Flanigan's is amazing. The beer is cheap and it always seems to be happy hour. This isn't your typical Miami Beach bar, but man I would rather go here then any other place for a cold one in Miami

First night in Coconut Grove and we could see that this was a popular place as there were queues outside so we gave it a try and were not disappointed the ribs were excellent and service also very good. The restaurant and bar were buzzing with everyone seeming to be enjoying their food.

Had the grilled salmon and broccoli with butter...It was amazing.. Everything was fresh and I will definitely order it again...Flanigans is serious about the quality of the food and their server's attention to detail...

If you're hungry, you certainly won't be once you've been here. Huge portions of great food at a cracking price. What more could you need?

Have been to several Flanigan's restaurants. Food is of good variety and consistent. The music at this particular Flanigan's in the main restaurant & bar area is so loud it prevents conversation. If you want to talk with your dining companions choose the area with the "Tanked" aquarium or outside. Service was generally friendly and attentive, but when some apparent regulars arrived at the next table, service to our table lagged.

Stopped by this restaurant for a late night snack (after 12am) and it was totally worth it The wings were sooo good if your arrive before 12 they have a special if you order a pitcher of any type of drink you will receive free wings. Also ordered little streamers and they were perfect. Didn't remember my servers name (older gentlemen with long white hair) but he was amazing and attentive Definitely will eat here again!!

I've been coming to the Loggerhead for over 30 years with my father. This is a true icon of South Florida and love the nautical feeling of the decor. Food is incredible and the staff always takes pride in their work!

From what I can tell, it's really a 50/50 chance whether they correctly prepare their fish. When they prepare it well, it is great! They use relatively fresh fish and the waiters are AMAZING! (Especially Yolanda) I have seen the female manager (I forgot her name) screaming at a customer because he didn't like his fish (it was raw). It seems she has gotten better but it is hard to tell. I would recommend their Mozzarella sticks, because they use great marinara sauce. Overall, if you are willing to take the risk Flanigan's can have good food at a reasonable price.

Had a great lunch. Very busy place with a lot of daily specials and wide variety of food. Typical Irish Pub with an extensive menu and beer selection. Great soups, wings, fish and burgers. Staff was very busy but attentive. Great place to catch a ball game or family outing.

All is good burgers chicken. Loaded baked potato, ribs. Dessert and service is fantastic! ! Manager on site always comes by to greet you and 2 for 1 drinks!

Never a Dull moment when dining at Flanigan's! Great Seafood & Great Ribs Abound! Always a Friendly place to visit for Good food! GetSome! GetSome!!

Absolutely excellent service by Jon the bartender. Was able to pop in several times recently with my sister and cannot recall better service anywhere in a long time. After just one visit he knew my drink every time I sat down. Great music, portions are huge, food is delicious pub fare, cheap drinks -- honestly all the prices more than fair for the quality and quantity. Plus they have a killer happy hour. Over a few visits we had BBQ chicken, ribs that fall off the bone, caesar salads, gumbo, buffalo chicken stickers, and several sides. Delish! Fun place and open late which is nice, and there is plenty of free parking which is rare in the area. Cannot wait to return next time I'm in town. I hesitate to leave a glowing review because I still want to be able to find a seat at the bar, but Flanigans is my new favorite spot in the grove.

I was at Flanigan's at other location but this one had very good service from the waitress and bar service. The food was fantastic and Restaurant looks super clean neat. If I have to work close to this location again that's for sure, I am coming to have dinner or lunch here. I recommended this restaurant to my friends, co-workers and relatives.

Went for lunch ahead of St Patrick's day. Three of us had lunch. The Rockin Rib Rolls bring us back every time. I had the lunch special soup and crab salad sandwich. Great price $5.99 with a drink. Everyone's food was excellent. Service was good too.

’ve been going to this place for 20 years. I always order the same thing. This time the server tell me you have to toss your own salad in a tiny bowl so you spill it all over the table. This just because I wanted a different dressing. I never had this issue before. The manager told me the same thing. It is too much for them to toss a salad in the kitchen, imagine that. I will post this in every website that takes reviews and I will tell people until I get tire of mentioning it.

Flanigans is my fave for years. Best ribs in South Florida. Great place to watch Dolphins games. Great seafood.

1 true American restaurant concept, traditional and picturesque. Good quality food and drink, prices are reasonable considering the reality of Miami. The service could be a little more attentive and genuine, you can see the primacy of wanting to sell but I already think it's a little cultural. On repeat

This seems to be a very popular place. We tried to just go in for a drink, but there was no room at the bar, and it was very noisy. Not a place for a quiet drink, and this was on a Monday night! Good sign though, they must be doing something right to get a crowd like that.

Ate lunch here one afternoon. Chicken wings were ok. The BBQ rolls were excellent. Nice little pub atmosphere. Service was ok and a little slow. I would eat here again.

Great service, nice food. packed in the finals with the Heat. Nothing fancy decent sized. It will keep you full!!

The baby back ribs are unparalleled. The attention is good. Sunday nights are pretty busy but the restaurant is worth the wait. My little daughter gave Rob a AAA because of his willingness to please every one of her requests

This place serves dolphin. I did not order it, but I thought that was novel. The food was excellent. Baby back ribs, chowder and chicken were on the menu. All well cooked and delicious. The beer is excellent, good clean taps.

My big homie jorome sent me here and the food tasted nasty. I was kinda disappointed I can’t believe a tv series would promote this place for free

The Laughing Loggerhead as the "Grove Locals" call it is hands down the best Sports Bar in South Florida. The food is consistently always great and if there is any issue with it .....its immediately replaced by the Manager. The Staff are like family and like the TV Bar Cheers ....they remember your name and your drink. The Flanigan's Happy Hour is still the best in Miami....and the parking is free. The only complaint I have that keeps this great local Restaurant -Pub from being excellent..... is the Bar is so cold you need to wear a sweater. So come try the best burgers, ribs and prime rib in town...but bring a sweater.

Excellent food, the ribs were wonderful, the firecracker shrimps are a must have. Great choice for a good meal. Great taste

Our server was very energetic and knowledgeable on the menu. The prices were unbeatable and food was exceptional. Highly recommend as a sports bar, restaurant or just place to hang to have a few drinks. Loved it! We had to wait to be seated and it was worth it. Would definitely go again if in the area.

I hadn't been in a Flanigan's since the 1980's when we went there for cheap beer and shots plus maybe some oysters. Due to Aunt Irma forcing us out of the house we went to Flanigan's for dinner as it was the only show in town. The Aioili Tuna steak, 10 ozs. This was as good or better than I have had in much more expensive restaurants. The coleslaw and beans & rice side dishes were also fresh and impressive. Also tried a dolphin sandwich which was good. Finally had the Banzai Brownie for dessert. This could feed a village in Somalia. Brownie plus ice cream, chocolate syrup and whipped cream for $8. Due to the storm the place was packed but the wait staff and kitchen kept up without any noticeable delays. Fantastic value for the money.

Food is excellent Waiter is terrible and make us waited 20 minutes more. Let pass 3 tables before for people that arrived after us. Complained to Manager and instead of apologizing he came with attitude. This restaurant does not need Managers like that. 😤😡

Awesome local stop on the way to the keys. Plum full with soccer fans for the world cup. Food was absolutely delish and prices even better. Still dreaming about the rib egg rolls. Fun to watch a game or basically anything.

Have a great time at Flannigan's! The staff are friendly and so is management! They really go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. It is a great place to relax and enjoy time with friends or family.

Always great food and drink specials. The bartenders have a heavy hand and are always friendly. Most nights are busy here, so service can get a bit slow at times. Food here is pretty good and helpings are generous. I would say that I have had a positive experience here %98 percent of the time.

I have been coming into this particular Flanagan’s for many years. It is always lively and always fun! Often times hard to get a table or seat at the bar. The food, particularly, the ribs are excellent and the prices won’t break the bank. If your looking for a fun time and good food this is your spot!

Food was very good and the drinks were decent. We sat outside and the service was very slow (but we weren't in a hurry or else it would have been miserable!).

Dined here with my wife and we can't complain about anything. Great food and a vast selection of beers and wines.

Love going to Flanigan's any day of the week even when busy not a huge wait, lots of drinks to choose from, great deals throughout the week, and there's always parking outside Flanigan has always been ol reliable for me.

Visited during the MLK holiday; we sat at the bar. The bar was dirty with some visible debris, food crumbs and a dried up lemon slice. Mark was our Bartender; we have had him before and he has always been very attentive, except this time. We had to request our refills and when we finished our meals, we had to wait a while to request containers. I noticed the same type of wait with other customers. The food was delicious as expected; we had the Half Rack and the Ribeye.

I don't think I will ever come back here again. Shortly after we sat down, a lady tripped and spilled two glasses of cold water on us, we did not get a sorry from anybody. They just moved our drenched selves to another table. While we were waiting for the rest of our party, we ordered the rib rolls. While we waited, the server did not realize that he hadn't replaced our waters from the previous incident. Once the rib rolls arrived, my husband unrolled his silverware and found a piece of green food on it. I asked for another roll up and told the server that there was something like spinach on the silverware. His answer? We don't carry spinach. Ok. Let's back up. If a silverware has residue of food, it is because it has not been properly washed. Not only that, the server who rolled it did not care to check or polish said silverware before rolling it, meaning my husband was about to eat with a mixture of food from someone else's mouth AND unwashed disinfectant solution that was not properly rinsed. So, this is your answer to obviously unclean silverware? We got new roll ups and he asked finally asked if we wanted water. Once he brought it, i found two black particles in the water. Unclean fountain. At this point i just lost it and refused to ask this server for anything else. Obviously either he has a lack of attention to details or he just does not care. My bet is on the latter since he never called a manager immediate after the water spilled or silverware. By this point you would think that nothing else can go wrong with this experience. Wrong. The food was way too greasy and drenched in lemon butter sauce. No apology, food was gross, horrible service

Our waitress was new and couldn't really keep the order straight although we asked her to write it down, after making 3 mistakes then forgetting the straws, water, napkins, and plastic ware. The food made up for the service. The clam Chowder was good, but a bit thick. The rib rolls. rack of ribs were delicious. We will come again

This is one of those restaurants that are constantly busy, but always worth the wait . The servers are amazing & if you're a regular they are great at facial recognition. The food is always fresh & tasty & the recommendations from the waiters never let me down. DRINKS! Wow. They have tons of wonderful selections, from wine, liquor and even beer. They are first to offer any specials or discounts available. I'm there at least twice a month.

Went at lunchtime to a very busy Flanagan’s to be greeted by a very jaded welcome and a fairly long wait. Upon being seated the waiter was good the food was good and inexpensive and although feeling a little rushed would return

This place I have been coming for years and it's the same people and atmosphere energy is awesome I like a lot I recommend this place! Great food and drinks! Open till late!

My family and I (6 total) arrived at about 1:45pm Sunday. We weren’t seated until about 2:30. They were busy, but it seemed as though they had forgotten about us. We didn’t get our meals until 4:00. And even still, we did not receive what we ordered. My cole slaw was missing, my aunt and asked for no onions and they were loaded on her hamburger - which was served even later than the rest of our meals since they had dropped it on the floor and had to make another one. I have NEVER experienced a worse lunch (turned into dinner) outing. We regret not walking out. The food was good, though. So if you’re not looking to eat in a reasonable time frame, go for it.

The best ribs in Miami!! Could go back there anytime!! Can also recommend their Caesar salad (as a side or main)! All food is very delicious!!

Nice spot to have a lunch with well served platters. The enviroment is friendly and the waiters are educated. I recomend!

We were in town for a sail trip. This place was walking distance to our hotel. We got there at 5:15pm. We didn't get to our table until 6:30pm. There were open tables but I guess the kitchen couldn't keep up. Honestly, if we knew the area better and had a car we would have left. We had my 80 year old father with us and didn't want to walk else where. The host were extremely unprofessional. Once we did finally got seated the waiter was ok. The food was ok. They have some meal deals. My father got the ribs. My husband got the shrimp pasta. I got the roasted chicken. Nothing special but fine for a quick meal in walking distance to the hotel. The outside portion of the restaurant is way quieter than the part with the bar. If we are back in the area we wouldn't come back. The food was worth a return visit and then the host confirmed we do not need to return.

Took 40 min to get a table. Food is good. Service not over friendly but correct. Very noisy so difficult to have a conversation.

Fun atmosphere with bar and grill setting including TV's, fishing photos cover the walls. A little dark inside during the day compared to bright and sunny outside. Ribs were moist and full of flavor. BBQ sauce was very tasty, not spicy, and you can try it out ahead of time if you're worried as the bottles are on the table. Half chicken also good but would have ordered more ribs if I knew ahead of time how great they would be. Salads are crisp, fresh, large and easy to share. Drink and food specials are a great value (and not just during happy hour). Server was friendly and efficient and very knowledgeable about all the deals but not pushy. Parking looks like it could be limited during busy times. Place was fairly full at lunch with diners as well as take-out. You can tell the locals like it which is a GREAT sign. Would DEFINITELY return when back in the area!

We visited this place in the evening, my wife and me were hungry and ready to eat well. We ordered onions as started, they came without any flavor and super greasy. We also ordered Sword Fish because is advertised as fresh catch. Fish was smelly and tasteless. This is a bar to order chips and nachos if you are planning for a good restaurant is not this place.

The food is consistently good. Not thrilled about mixed drinks in which the bartender uses a jigger to measure the alcohol. Better bars really don’t do that. You AND the bartender know a good drink! Parking is horrendous! With as much money as this venue makes, PAVE THE PARKING LOT!

Our first mistake was to come here already hungry. We were seated right away but our order was not taken for at least 15 minutes. We ordered a cheeseburger and wings. Simple right ? It took FOREVER to get our food. At least 15 minutes. My husband only took a few bites of the burger. Said it was not good. My wings were ok, not great. But I am from Buffalo so am picky. It was also far too noisy for us but I guess that goes with the territory. The free parking was appreciated.

Flanagan's has a great atmosphere and off the charts flavorful food. The drinks were delicious and every entree we ordered was well presented and perfectly prepared. Highly recommended for all ages and tastes.

After my third visit to this very busy pub and the third time i had the ribs, the first time they were awesome, the second better and the third time blew my mind so if you want to sample these ribs be ready for a slight wait for a table or try to sit at the bar. All the food that i saw looked brilliant if you dont want to have the ribs !!. Not particularly expensive but worth every penny. Excellent staff, cant praise them enough. As Arnie said" I WILL BE BACK " lol

My son and I stayed in the coconut grove area and this was close( marlins stadium) by for a quick dinner/ beer. it was typical bar like food. service was good and the food was above average...I had the ribs which where very tender and worth the money.

I'd been trying to get my friends to Flannigan's forever to try their ribs so when a birthday came up I took the opportunity to get us all out to Flannigan's. As luck had it our visit was on a Monday when they offer a free order of nachos with the first pitcher of beer. And I must say it was easily the largest plate of fully loaded nachos any of us had ever seen! We of course ordered the ribs and everyone agreed with me that these were the best ribs in town. Cooked to perfection and nicely coated with bbq sauce the meat easily fell right off the bone, ribs done right! Smoked fish dip was good too! Service was good despite being a very busy night and our birthday girl was surprised with a special dessert and the appropriate fanfare. Definitely would recommend Flannigan's for a casual night out.

I had originally ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs. The bartender asked if I wanted to go with joe's meal deal. For an extra $2 I got a loaded caesar salad, draft beer and 3 delicious garlic rolls. Really can't beat that. It's definitely a sports bar type atmosphere, but that's what I was looking for. Loved it and I will be back.

We were 8 people without reservation and although the restaurant was very full, we only waited about 15 minutes. Spacious tables and very American venue, with a good customer atmosphere. The waitress was super attentive throughout. THE FOOD, very tasty, to the perfect point the ribs and quantity to make you roll. You can easily park nearby.

If you go to eat in Flannigan's on Miami on NW 87 AV YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT FOR AN HOUR and they don't even give yo a table or a solution on how they can attend you. There is no intelligence at all at the service provided, they are just dumb guys that don't provide any solution just send you to f*** yourself. Shout-out to Angel th manager that is the dumbest of all. If the owner of the business read this review please take care of the worst manager you will ever had. I didn't even got any food here it really sucks!!!!
Have been here a couple of
Have been here a couple of times, it’s our local pub/restaurant. Kids love it. Portions are huge. Ribs are amazing. Nachos very good. Blue cheese burger was blue-cheesy. What more can I say? Well, I had a Moscow Mule with no ginger taste, it tasted like a mojito. The wine is overpriced for the quality. Service very fast, dare I say too fast? It felt rushed. But was a busy night with 1 hour wait for a table so understandable.
