Great service, steaks served just as ordered. Sat in private room off the main area so it was quiet and easy to talk.

Of all the Flemming's that I have dined at, this was my least favorite location. Service was a little off and so was the food. Must be difficult to always live up to an expectation of excellence? On a positive note, not much was going on at LA live on a Saturday night, so happy hour was offered all night long.

This was our second visit to Flemings (the first time was Newport Beach) and the experience was not any better. We found the service to be very average, the sides were poor in quality, poor presentation and very overpriced. The steak was good. Overall we found Fleming to be over priced a big disappointment and will not be trying it again.

The entire staff, from the hostess that greeted us, to the table escort and server Daniel were great. They obviously communicated well together as all were aware that it was a special event (anniversary) for us. The food was perfect and overall it was a great evening.

Located in the LA Live area. The food and service was excellent. Fleming's has an extensive wine list and the server was helpful in narrowing the selections.

Amazing steakhouse in downtown LA , great ambience and great food . As usual a bit on the expensive side , but it has to be for a steakhouse

Each year I attend the LA Car Show with two friends. We often go to Fleming's for dinner. It never fails us, and this year we had another great meal. First, we love the atmosphere with its wood decor. It’s always busy so there’s an energetic vibe in the place. This year we had a particularly exceptional server, Liz, who gave us some great recommendations, and steered us when we started getting a bit off course. One friend and I split the 16oz dry-aged ribeye, to which we added a porcini rub and lobster tail with a serving of Yukon mashed potatoes. Our other friend had the petite filet with Diablo shrimp. We all shared an order of grilled asparagus. Everything was perfectly prepared and excellent. We finished with desserts, which were good but not as excellent as the other parts of the meal (the carrot cake had too little icing and was a bit dry), and coffees. Odds are we will return, again, next year.

The steak was good, really good but this place is not cheap if you a steak. Still I wanted to go somewhere for a good steak and I certainly got that. Decor good, privacy excellent, try the dry aged steak. Wine list overwhelming with little advice and for the prices charged there really should have been a sommelier available.

Only wanting a light lunch after a stressful morning dealing with bureacracies, so soup and a bloody mary made for a satisfying liquid lunch. The French Onion Soup was as good as my own, laden with melted cheese on garlic croutons floating in a good-sized bowl of excellent beefy onion stock. Cheers!

Everything here is great. Absolutely nothing you could pick could be wrong. The steaks will be cooked exactly as you asked, if not better than you've asked. That's my favorite meal here is steak. Don't forget to ask for a great glass of wine with that, red preferably in my opinion. Service is nice too.

I've always wanted to try Flemings and finally had the opportunity this past week. Have to say it was a pretty disappointing overall experience, albeit one that was not helped by the sky high expectations I had going in. Eaten at a significant number of high-end steakhouses across the country and this didn't fare well vs the competition. It really felt like the service and food were akin to an Outback while the prices and ambience were what one would expect at a Fleming's. Server was akward in delivery of pretty much everything from taking away extra place setting, to reciting specials, to not really knowing the wine list. At the same time she was a bit too informal (maybe trying to be more hip because of the LA location?). I don't know but regardless, we had a great bottle of wine (because we know our wine) and the wedge salad was good. My steak was slightly over-cooked and again, the flavor was just average. The side we got (some type of scalloped potato brick) could have been out of a box for all I could tell, there was nothing memorable about it at all. Because of the price I almost want to rate it a poor experience, but because nothing was truly awful, I don't want to be that harsh, but definitely not worth the money and definitely a big letdown. Not sure if I would try again or not, it would depend on other options.

There was the perfect dinner. Wine temperature, food temperature. Meat cooking point. Everything was perfect. Also the price. For the service quality was cheap!

We ordered ahead for a special day. They delayed the food 1 hour then 2 hours then 3 hours then cancelled. They left us sad and disappointed and bewildered. We even called a few times to ask, and were told the food was coming.

Visited with 20+ teammates and we were given a private room for our comfort. The staff were exceptional. I don't recall ever feeling as though we were waiting for anything. All of the food was served promptly and correct. Menu options are as varied as I've experienced at their location in Birmingham, MI, but the food was good and well seasoned. We had filet, tempura lobster tail, mushrooms, spicy Thai green beans, creamed spinach, and au gratin potatoes. Overall, the food was characteristically good for a steak house. I would highly recommend reviewing the menu online before making reservations.

If you're a meat lover , if the steak quality of important for you , if easy going atmosphere and very good service are you're thing .. Then you find the place in LA Great steaks and salads combined by very good service makes the experience perfect Recommended !

We had a private room for a business meeting. The service and food were as expected - a typical steakhouse experience. The service was good, the food was good and it was on the pricey side. Nothing spectacular, but nothing wrong either.

great bar and restaurant to meet friends for inviting venue with drinks and great food in Beverly Hills.

Arguably the best steak dinner I have had. Flavourful and cooked to perfection. Hats off the great staff. Well worth the $. Don’t miss out on the carrot cake for dessert.

We have a group of three couples that get's together every year for celebrating the start of a new year. This year we choose to have dinner at Fleming since we were all staying at the JW Marriott right next door. The three men had the bone in Rib eye. These were $50+ steaks, all were very tough, not cooked as requested and one had to be returned to the kitchen as it was totally raw in the middle. Two of the wives had the Sea Bass. The portions were so small that when delivered to the table, we thought it was a joke. No joke. The fish was luke warm and was tasteless to the point the wives saying it was the worse fish dinner they have ever experienced. The restaurant did take one steak off the bill and one of the fish dinners. Flemings will not be on our recommend list of restaurants for the LA area in the near future.

We had a great time visiting with friends at Fleming’s, LA Live. We enjoyed local beer and bites. The service was great

Fleming's always has quality food and this location was no exception. I will say, however, that the service team was not on their "A" game the night I visited. Our server was overly casual in her approach. Not that I mind casual, however, a server must be a more astute judge of the kind of service their guests are looking for.

Came here as a group of 19 for a family reunion. Service was excellent - very polite and attentive despite the chaos of our group. People enjoyed the steaks and sea bass. I had french onion soup which was great. Crab cakes less so - a bit too dense. Had lots of desserts - carrot cake was amazing as was the chocolate lava cake. Very nice dinner.

We came here for a business dinner. What i liked about the place was the atmosphere. It's a nice restaurant but you do not need to dress up in ballroom attire. The food was excellent and the service was great!

At Fleming's the other night for a private party business dinner, we experienced another great evening courtesy of Flemings. Piles of fresh shrimp, pizza-like creations and steak on a stick before dinner, any dink one wanted from the bar. Good sized and good liquor. My small sirloin was cooked as requested and cooked perfectly. The accompanying side dishes of potatoes, beans and spinach were plentiful Those drinking wine had their glasses refilled by the attentive staff. Desert for those who ate it, ( I didn't) seemed to go over well as very few plates weren't cleaned of there cheesecake. All in all, a great experience as a result of great service and food.

Whenever I'm near downtown LAX, I always try to go to this restaurant. Always has a "buzz" with lots of people enjoying their meal. Waiters and servers always go above and beyond the call to make your dinner enjoyable. Good wine list and great steak cuts. Dealt with a minor problem incredibly well.

Classic steak house. Packed, so it must be doing something right. But way over-priced ($55 for a chicken breast with no sides). Best to avoid.

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday before the Lakers game. All was well until my steak arrived. I ordered it Medium well but it was very well done and even charred on outside. Sent it back and it came back medium rare. Back again and finally medium well, but was still a bit charred outside. By the time it arrived my husband had finished his dinner 10 minutes prior. The manager came and apologized, offered me another glass of wine or anything else and said she'd take it off our bill and it was. She was clearly embarrassed. Then they gave us free dessert for his birthday. Manager also gave us a coupon for $35 to use within a month. For a $41.50 filet mignon, I had to insist it was right. They took care of us but we still paid over $100 for the meals. Waiter was a little MIA after the first steak return so that was a little disappointing. Good food, but very pricey.

As you would expect a good steak house. Generous American portions and superb steak. There's a private dining room for functions which is super

Granted, the Cirque du Soleil show just let out and the restaurant was crowded, but we easily found seats at the bar and thought we'd order food from there. The seating area was tight, we were almost on top of others there. One couple, after a few minutes, said, "We give up," and left. We took their seats. The food was good, the waitress was nice, but the service paled in comparison to that at Flemings in Manhattan Beach, where everyone made you feel like royalty. It's a steakhouse, and the food was better than average.

We had the pleasure of visiting Fleming's on a Wednesday night before a concert at the Staples Center. We chose an early seating at 5:00 and were surprised to see how busy the restaurant became while we were enjoying our meal. We selected Fleming's due to its proximity to Staples Center but also because our friends were celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary. Our server, Scott, was very attentive and helpful, but not to any degree that was annoying. Just the right amount of attention, in fact! He was very knowledgeable of the menu as well as the daily specials, and had great wine recommendations for our guest. I was very impressed by really everything about the restaurant from the friendly and NOT stuffy service from everyone...our server Scott, the nice young fellow who kept our water glasses filled with a smile and management team who came by our table to check in on our party. The cocktails were DELICIOUS (try the Farmer's Daughter!), the food was all quite good. I ordered the prix fixe menu that was on the inside cover of the menu. It included an 8 oz. filet and 4 perfectly cooked scallops. The first course that came with it was an arugula salad with farmer's cheese could NOT have been tastier! A couple of notes, I had ordered my Filet Mignon cooked medium, and while it was as tender as it could ever be and very flavorful, it was not pink inside, as I prefer. Naturally, I could easily have asked for it to be redone, but our schedule was such that we truly did not have time for that. Surely no fault of anyone's, and I could have remedied the situation, but as I said, it truly was flavorful and tender...just not quite as juicy as I would like. Despite that, we were so pleased with our overall experience and I want to offer the management a huge THANK YOU for making our friend's anniversary such a memorable night with the kind recognition of their special day. It's true, the restaurant IS expensive ($359 for 4 meals including bar tab - one drink each and two for one individual, one dessert to share, a side dish and two people ordered soup/salad) but I'm confident that Fleming's will be a future destination for our special occasions. Thank you, Scott and management team!

My husband & I received a gift card for Flemings so we thought we would check it out. Boy-O-boy am I glad we did. I normally am not a lover of red meat, but my husband LUVS a good steak & potato every now & then. We both decided to indulge & ordered 2 different kinds of steaks & both were FANTASTIC!!! Unbelievably juicy & full of flavor. Probably the BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD. Although Flemings is quite pricey you can get a little price break if you purchase gift cards @ Costco. This will save you $20.00. This is definitely NOT a place for kids or an everyday meal, but for a special occasion you won't be disappointed. The high quality of food & the beautiful presentation is superb & the service was just as awesome. Our server was attentive & very friendly (not stuffy...I hate that!) I would highly recommend Flemings & I am looking forward to going back again over the holidays

Delicious Sunday prime rib and stuffed baked potato... Cream Brûlée was great too. I'd eat this every day here if I could.. Great job

Steak, it was delicious. The atmosphere is good at 45, the service is good at 45, there's a lot of 45, so salads and appitizers are good for sharing.

While attending a conference in LA and staying at the JW Marriott I went to Fleming's for some wine and bar food. The service was good and the food was excellent. Nice interior and bar area for enjoying an evening away from home.

was told it was sold out but bar was first come first serve. Grabbed a table in the corner and now the adventure. waited over 15 minutes just to get menus. And this is cause I got them myself. Finally got water and when we were ready to order, no waiter to be seen. Again, had to get up and look for anyone to take our order. We all made our order and asked three times for a water refill before we got any attention. Then when steaks came, none of us had the right knives and I had to once again get up and ask someone. I also noticed tables being served bread. Had to ask for that too. I also asked for steak sauce. It came near the end of my meal. During the meal, my medium rare steaks was so rare, I thought I ordered it blue. everyone on the table agreed I said medium rare. but with service such a disaster, I didnt even bother to ask. Waiter showed up on his own twice. To bring us water, and then to pick up the check after we asked anyone to bring it. The total bill for 4 of us came out to $350 and I felt a tinge bad when we debated on whether it should be a 5% tip or 10%. we left with ten and felt that was the biggest waste of 35 bucks ever. Mortons is right around the corner. I would recommend mortons.

I had dinner with three business colleagues. We started with fried calamari and crispy pork belly apps; both were very good. Two ordered bone in rib eyes topped with crabmeat and asparagus and two ordered the aged boneless rib eyes. All came with the desired degree of doneness. My aged rib eye was ordered rare. It arrived perfectly done, with a cool red center and seared crust. Had it been more tender, Flemings would have earned an Excellent grade. Shared sides of mushrooms, creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were solid if not spectacular. All in all, a fine meal.

They care, they serve great food and it’s important to the establishment you are satisfied. All foods are fresh..enjoy your meal..and sticker shock is not allowed...

Went with a group for a holiday dinner. Had reservations and was seated on time and in a nice location. Restaurant has a calm and upscale vibe but not stuffy at all. Server and her assistant was right on target with everything. We ordered a couple of app platters to share which were fab and included Ahi, crab cakes, pork belly and calamari, very nice! I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was on a beautiful bed of slightly spicy and bitter greens- perfect taste compliment. The Fleming salad was a great starter and the Cheesecake to die for!

I have been to several Flemings in several locations and none of them have come close to the one in El Segundo in food, service, and ambiance. The patio in El Segundo is a great place for a quick bite or happy hour.

We had a business dinner there with clients while at a conference. As one would and should expect, excellent high end steak house. Little enough to add about this place. Good wine list. Good steak house.

I enjoy the steaks much better at saltgrass. Really this place is very mediocre. Steak was tasteless and the potatoes were undercooked. Giving it three point because of the servers.

Seafood tower was awesome. Great steaks had the filet. Cooked perfect medium rare. Old Fashioned was very good. We were in town for concert at the Staples Center was a short block away stayed at Luxe just across street. Very convenient. 'Merica🇺🇸

Flemings is top notch- the food, the ambiance, the staff, the wine, everything. I've eaten at many Flemings and they are all top of the line. I love the steak!!!

Yes this is a pretty upscale restaurant. There is valet in the front. Came here to celebrate me and my wife's anniversary. The server was really professional in ordering our food. The onion rings here are to - die - for. Very great atmosphere would recommend to come here if you are all about your WINE.

First time to this location. Wanted something before the game and was not impressed with Mastros and Capital Grille is closed. Flemings is a more casual (but not casual) atmosphere. The service was very good (but not great) but the Tomahawk Ribeye was excellent and the lobster was some of the best I've had in a while. Reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere make this a great stop for any occasion.

I have eaten at many different Fleming's all over the country, from Knoxville to Nashville to San Diego to, now, LA. I was disappointed from the outset when the usually good bread was cold and not fully baked. The filet and Diablo shrimp was good, but the Diablo sauce was not quite on point. In general, it wasn't a terrible meal experience, but this Fleming's rates much lower than my hometown Fleming's (Knoxville) and others I have visited

Located very near the staples center, is this classic steakhouse. Did not liked the service because it was very pushy. The steaks were good but no great ( had a fillet mignon) . Will definitely not go back. Spect to pay about $120 per person.

The food and service was lovely. In a large group there are always limited choices and I cannot complain about it. Food was superb. However other things contribute to a lovely evening. The room was so warm that guests were uncomfortable. In addition, a small pet peeve - asparagus was served without any serving utensils. Seriously. A restaurant of this caliber forced guests to use forks they used in eating to serve food off of plate. #whodoes this. You can certainly do better with these prices.

We absolutely loved our service and food plus we even recieved a anniversary card! We took part in Dine LA...It was a great experience!

Highly recommend. Great place to go before any concert or game. Grab a seafood tower and a bottle of sparking and people watch.

Happy hour on Saturday in LA is hard to find so we were pleased to see that Fleming’s had one from 4-6. We got there right at 4 which was good because it fills up quickly - especially if there is a hockey or basketball game. They have a good discounted menu for drinks and food. We got beer and wine as well as appetizers of deep fried olives (served with a spicy sauce - delicious) and candied bacon. I got filet mignon flatbread and my husband got the burger. Both were excellent - one of our best meals since we have been here. There were lots of people waiting for tables - I think we could have sold ours to the highest bidder when we got up to leave! Great choice....like I said, get there at 4.

If you are in LA live, there's only two places you must eat. This is one. I mainly love the lobster mac and cheese when it's available, and burgers for lunch, but every time I go I always get a salad (Caesar usually) and the Fleming's potatoes and neither of those will ever disappoint. Obviously steaks are great, but check the chef's "table" menu first to see what the specials are. The wine selection is unbeatable.

This is a quiet and traditional decor steakhouse in downtown Los Angeles good for business dinners. You have your choice or rib-eyes which I enjoy. Good traditional sides like mashed potatoes with a lobster tail. Service is very good. I normally don't have dessert but they used to have this vanilla ice cream from Texas that was amazing.

This isn't a top notch steakhouse, but certainly near the top. The steaks were good but sides were a little small as well as the apps. Took very long with drink orders, food came out quick but probably because it was past 9:30 and the crowd was dying down.

My family visited Fleming's last night before a show at LA Live. The Kings were at Staples. I made my reservation over two months ago. I had to wait in the reception area for 15 minutes. Our family ordered our meals as soon as the waiter came to check on us. It took another 20, seriously, 20 minutes for our steaks and sides to arrive. While waiting the waiters, waitresses, busboys, and managers were in disarray. You would assume these "restaurant professionals" to have their act together? It was SAD! My wife and children were not thrilled.

Not cheap, but great food !!! Service was great, food selection is very good and atmosphere is nice too.

stop by for a bit to eat before the Adele concert.....the wine list is wide, plenty to chose from and the food was good..I loved my lobster mac n chesse and service was great!!!

Very tasty, well cooked stake in this location at Live LA. Tables are a litle crowded and the table we got felt a little out in a passage way (we came in with no reservation on a thrursday night). The Rib-Eye and the Filet Mignon were both flawless.

great food and excellent customer service very good steak and wine will def go back to this place kind of pricey but well worth it

Amazingly friendly service. Delicious food - but once converted to the Aussie dollar we spent an absolute fortune this evening.

We should have just left when we saw the menu - $60 for a steak and that was not the most expensive!!!! And that did not include vegetables. I am surprised we were not charged for the "free" bread from the chef! The food was okay, not great. The mushrooms and asparagus were over done. The steaks were medium well, not medium rare that we asked for. Tasted okay, but for the price we paid, we should have had perfect. I have had better a much lower rated and priced restaurants. Unless you have more money than sense, an unlimited expense account, or just want to impress, avoid Fleming's.

I had the lunch prix fixe with mushroom brie soup and barbeque salmon fillet. The sourdough bread came with two spreads: the champagne infused brie spread (which was delicious) and the pumpkin spread (which was also very good). The soup and the salmon were both tasty.

On Sundays, they have Prime Rib Dinner for great price!! It is three course meal for a fixed price. Even it is a promotion price but the food quality is still A++. I have the Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. OMG!! The cake is baked for perfection, the chocolate sauce in the middle.... yummy!! Highly recommended~ We have the BEST server (Steve) ever~ He is super attentive! Not once that we need to "look for" him because he is always around. The manager, Emily, even took her time to stop by our table and greet us. It feels very special~ We have the most wonderful time!!

Went to Fleming's November 2019 before a Lakers game. Went with the giant Tomahawk steak, which did not disappoint. Wonderful mix of prime beef with flavorful marbling. Calamari as an appetizer before the steak was very average and would not recommend. That being said, the steak offset any negatives. As a note, we arrived when the dining area opened at 5 p.m. in order to hit a Lakers game. On a game night, it is extremely busy so it is prudent to arrive early.

Ive eaten at Flemings all over the US. This particular location gets very busy as it is close to Staples. The french onion soup here is what i come for. I simply love it.

I went to this restaurant a couple of times for business meetings and liked it. One evening I had a medium rare filet mignon with Brussels sprouts, a mushroom dish and salad with a velvety Stags Leap Californian red. On the other occasion we went for lunch and had a salad and burgers; on both occasions the food was enjoyable. Would recommend

You know you're going to get a great steak at Flemings. We were promptly seated at our reservation time, meal was nicely timed. I had a ribeye, my guest the larger filet. Both were perfection. Pricing is a little less than other similar steak houses. Overall a very nice meal.

Fleming's has a few locations across the US, and the quality is high across all the ones I've visited. But my favorite is the one in Los Angeles on Olympic. I always get the seafood tower for an appetizer, and follow it up with a surf and turf. You really can't go wrong with a nice thick filet and a lobster tail. Wine list is extensive as well!

We ordered from the Prix Fixe menu the lobster and steak. We started with their Caesar salad it had a good amount of garlic which I enjoyed. I must say that my favorite part of the dinner was the lobster mac and cheese, which was the perfect amount of creamy cheese and large pieces of lobster. We had great service during our visit. We made reservations since it was New Year’s Eve and were seated right away. The Manager was super attentive stopping at every table for short conversations checking to make sure everything was going well. The steak was cooked perfectly and the portions were large enough to leave you feeling satisfied.

I must say I came in with high expectations due to friends' recommendations. the starters were perfect, and the wine list impressive. The stake was good and I enjoyed it, but in all honesty, i've had better.

Enjoy an ICE COLD bubbly rose with the Poke! You won't regret it. Their happy hour menu is nice, but the bar service is MONEY! LOVELY LOVELY service. I don't like chains and Flemings has been on my "no zone" since my last visit in DC across from Zaytinias. It was a hot day and the manager let us in 5 minutes early, a thirsty and tired crowd from E3 conference. And the happy hour made us happy!

I’m still recovering the next morning from such an incredible meal. We started with the amazing chilled seafood tower. The shrimp are large and meaty. The lobster tails were large and poke was exquisite. I had the petite filet and it was cooked to perfection. Ended the night with the chocolate lava cake and coffee. Exactly what we were looking for!

Went here for our NYE dinner before we headed out and the food was DELISH and the price was reasonable! No issues and will definetly eat there again. I ordered Crab Cakes, Mashed Potatoes and my fiancee ordered Filet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection! Will def recommend anyone.

This is one busy restaurant but most of the other restaurants are super busy due to the location at LA Live. Once I opened up the menu I was in sticker shock so do not come here if you plan on saving any money. We only ordered sides and starters plus three mixed drinks and the tab was $130, this was with no entree. The service is top notch and all the food was delicious.

The atmosphere at Flemings is nice. High backed rounded booths, wood paneled walls. When we arrived there was no one at the host stand. We waited for about 5 minutes. We were seated in a nice booth and most of the booths around us had patrons as well. Cocktails were just okay. Our waitress was lack-luster and very inattentive. We waited a long time for our food, were never offered a dessert menu, and when it was time to pay the bill had to get up and find our waitress because we waited so long with plates cleared, credit card, out etc. All the signals. ;) We found our waitress sitting up by the bar and she came and gave us a very dry goodbye as she took our card to check us out. Food was okay - but we were not impressed.

This is a wonderful place with a wonderful menu. I dine there often and recommend it to everyone living or visiting LA.

Start with the bacon. In fact start with more than one plate if you have more than yourself eating. Best bacon ever. We then shared the chefs special for the day along with salad and turtle pie for dessert.

One word to sum up my experience was fantastic! Everyone was so nice and helpful from when we were greeted to the bartenders and serving staff. Appetizers were dynamite. I personally also had the salad which was great. The steaks were some of the best we have ever tasted and generous portions. Can't wait to eat there again!

Small plates, good wine, excellent service. I went with my family on friday, June 19th and we enjoy so much. Try the angus meat and california wine.

This was our Anniversary Dinner! Staff gets a 10 (Host, Waitress (Brittany), Asst. Waiters, Food Runner) they were excellent!!! Food: worst we have experienced: Cocktails - 10 Bread and Flavored butter - 10 Wedge Salad -10 Steak - 3 (My wife ordered NY Strip - very dry and heavily overlooked and tough and lacking flavor. I ordered Bone in Filet and it was also bland but cooked properly.) we are accustomed to our steaks from other restaurants being served on hot plates and hot food. - I ended up giving my wife my steak. Lobster Mac and Cheese - 4 (hot but rather watery and lacked the flavor of any other Lobster Mac and Cheese we have ever had.) Brussel Sprouts - 0 ( under cooked and lacking flavor. In every other restaurant the brussel sprouts are cooked to a slight crisp with excellent flavor. Not here) Crème Brule - 10 ( this along with the bread was the best food with the most flavor) Additionally, I brought a $200 bottle of wine from our collection just to have the cork broken... not ideal. We didn't return the food as we had other plans and did not have the time to wait another 60 minutes. My bill was $310 and my bottle of wine $200. We were beyond disappointed, brought back 1/2 of each steak and most of the sides and gave it to a homeless person. Disappointment doesn't begin to describe our evening!!

Good quality food , friendly service. My rack of lamb was one of the best I tried so far. My colleagues liked their steaks. The place is quite expensive. I guess for downtown LA it may be ok.

I have a theory that restaurants the cater primarily to the tourist trade should be avoided. That this theory worked at Fleming's at LA Live was a bit astonishing. Great steak restaurant, right? On Saturday, January 16th, we had dinner at Fleming's. The restaurant was packed, great energy, attentive and helpful staff. What came out of the kitchen was well below standard. Two of the bone-in rib eyes at our table had gristle, to the point that they were difficult to cut with the steak knives. My steak, ordered medium rare, came out rare, and after it was sent back was returned medium well. Big miss. The side dishes were unremarkable. Best part of my dinner was the pork belly appetizer, but again, I've had better. I was also a bit surprised at the paltry selection of single malt whiskies, an even more so when my first choice, The Balvenie 14, was unavailable. For a high-end chop house, a list of the usual suspects (Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, The Macallan) just doesn't cut it. This was the kind of experience that will put me off other Fleming's locations.

Just came back from lunch, 7/27/16, and tried their dine LA menu. I ordered the Fleming's Salad, Porcini-Crusted Filet Mignon, Creamed Spinach, and Beverly Hills Flourless Chocolate Cake all for $20. It's a great way to be introduced to this awesome restaurant. They also provided an appetizer that was a thin crust bread with fig, parmesan cheese and vinaigrette. The appetizer was delicious. I love the play of the saltiness of the cheese and the sweetness of the fig. The fleming's salad was good, it's not anything special. The creamed spinach was oh so tasty and was a perfect combination with my medium porcini-crusted filet. They cooked my steak to my liking and the flavor was top notch. I love the crispy porcini crust on top of the filet and the mushroom sauce was heavenly. The meat was very tender and very flavorful. I love it! The flourless cake was quite rich but I still finished the whole thing. My friend ordered the same thing as I did except she got fleming's potatoes and cheesecake. I tried the potatoes and that had a good flavor too but I thought it was a tad dry. She and another friend were raving about the cheesecake. My other friend ordered a lobster sandwich which she devoured and have mentioned a few times was "really good." Service was on point except for when it was time for dessert. It took awhile and they got my order wrong but it was rectified right away. The manager Shawn Coffee was super nice to stop by our table and ask how our experience was. He got a very positive feedback from us and I told him it was my first time at Fleming's. I will definitely be back and will take my family here next time.

I've given this restaurant an average rating for a few reasons. Firstly it has simple yet beautiful decor, nice lighting and no loud music, something I can't abide by in restaurants (unless your dinner guests are boring!). The bar staff are fast and attentive, we received a great service while we waited for our friends to arrive. But here is the kicker... The waiting staff were spread too thin. We ordered our starter and main which both came in good time however our waiter was too busy to check on the quality of our food. In all fairness the appetizers were fantastic. I enjoyed both the lobster tempura and the crab cakes. But our steak was actually laughable. Not only was it over cooked (I asked for medium rare and got medium well) but it also looked like it had a thick crust, similar to fried chicken but black. On closer inspection the entire steak was covered in crushed black pepper corn, both sides, and most of the pepper corns were burnt black leaving a vile taste in my mouth. Four of the five steaks on our table were the same. I spent the first ten minutes scraping pepper off my steak, which although a little over cooked was rather tasty. I waited for someone to come and enquire about how the table was enjoying their food... Nobody came. After half an hour I had eaten only a few bites as I couldn't stand to eat the bitter pepper coated steak. The waiter came to the table and told us if we wanted a lava cake we needed to order it now. One of my party told him we didn't know what the other pudding options were yet... He looked surprised and then rattled off the options. He then disappeared. I am not particularly disappointed in the service we had from our waiter as it was clear he was very very busy. I'm more disappointed that nobody in the kitchen had noticed bad steaks coming out and then bad steak returning to the kitchen when we hadn't eaten all of our food. Furthermore my poor husband got himself a Jack Daniels and Coke which came with a peanut sized lump of something black and squishy at the bottom of his glass. He only realized after he took a gulp!! When we alerted someone they didn't apologize just took the drink and exchanged it which no explanation as to the foreign body he just shared a drink with. All in all I was very disappointed. I am lucky enough to enjoy maestros once a month and was told Flemings was just as good. After our awful steak I have come to the conclusion that I would rather spend more but get a rock solid service and fab steak from maestros rather than risk cracking one of my teeth on the "seasoned" steak at Flemings!

Came here before a hockey game at the Staples Center for pregame drinks and snacks. Ended up at Fleming's simply because it was the only place downtown without a 90 minute wait on a Saturday night. It's a typical Fleming's except thankfully they allowed everyone wearing sports jerseys inside instead of having a snotty dress code. We found a very tight spot at the bar and since it was happy hour, had a couple of drinks and bar "snacks." I say "snacks" because it was mostly hearty bar food. Hubby got a filet sandwich and I got a prime burger, ($15 and $10). Both were very good and a great deal during the happy hour pricing. We also had a mozzarella tray that was really large. I was impressed with the portion sizes more than the taste of the food. My favorite thing was the free basket of sourdough rolls they brought out when we sat down! It's not cheap, but Happy Hour knocks a few bucks off some menu items. There's a fine selection of specialty cocktails and okay wines, but I really wanted sparkling so I had a glass of prosecco then a glass of champagne off the "regular price" menu. Our server was so friendly and kind, but she was overworked and serving most of the bar area. The bar area is SUPER tight and packed when it's busy, very uncomfortable for sure. We had to wait longer for our drinks than our food, which came out quickly. Since it was so crowded in the bar, it was also really warm. It was 67 degrees that day but felt like the heat was on inside. Everyone was sweating. I liked the food and the service for the most part, but I wasn't in love with Fleming's. Then again, it wasn't my first choice by a mile, it was just the only place with no line.

The New York steak was amazing, the Tomahawk was excellent. The sides were delicious and we accompanied this delicious food with an amazing Argentinian wine. Price wise was reasonable. And I wanted to shout out Michael Ramirez our server, for his outstanding courtesy and hospitality. He made my son’s birthday such an amazing experience!

Had reservations for dinner here for my wife's birthday and pre concert dinner, had reservation for 5:30pm, was seated right away upon arriving, Scott our server was excellent the entire meal, the meal itself was excellent, we enjoyed the prime rib dinner with side and salad and every component of the evening was well received. They treated us like the most important table in the restaurant and it was packed. The total experience here was GREAT and we will definitely be returning diners here at Flemings.

If you want to impress a customer, take them here! The wine list is among the best I've seen and the food is over-the-top amazing! My colleagues had steaks and raved about them. I had the scallops and shrimp entrée and stuffed every morsel into my 5-foot frame! Desserts include an exquisite crème brulee, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, cheesecake and a chocolate lava cake (this takes 20 minutes to prepare, but it's worth the wait!). Everyone in my party ordered dessert, so I was able to sample them all. The price was very reasonable for such a high caliber meal. I will remember this restaurant for a very long time.

It was a great experience Anthony and Anna made sure everything was good. The food was wonderful I had the portobello and cauliflower and crabcakes. Devin served the best dirty martini with blue cheese olives. Definitely will come back for more!

We had dinner here on New Years day and the meal was very good. We started with a a drink and an appetizer. The crab cakes were just ok, nothing special in my opinion. I expected more for the price of them. The steaks were delicious and cooked correctly. The seasoning on my rib eye was great but I thought it was smaller than other steak houses. For sides we got onion rings which were very good and a baked potato which was nothing special. The cheesecake for dessert was very good as well. Overall it was a good meal, pricey ( $270 ) but we knew that going into it and would do it again for a special occasion.

An amazing restaurant, the food was just perfect as was the service. Highly recommend if in the area, it’s faultless!

I dined at the bar on my own, great meal and super service. Recommend to solo diners in downtown LA.

Everything was okay, nothing to go back for. It’s just one of those overated eateries. The food portions were small. When I ordered my steak to go, when I got home and opened the container I thought someone forgot to part of my order in it. It’s a C.

We were there for dinner on Sunday, 9/4/22, with our daughter and her roommates. It was super convenient from USC. We were a party of 8 were sat in a lovely room that made it intimate. The staff was very welcoming from the front door, and our server was on it. We were check-in by a manager, Ana, to see how we were enjoying our night. The food was on point. The Tomahawk steak was a hit with my daughter's friends, and the mac & cheese as well as the cauliflower mash was delicious. Oh, and the desert was to die for. Their chocolate lava cake was to die for. Thank you and we will be back for family weekend in October

Due to the weather we decided to choose a restaurant in the area of the JW Marriott Hotel. The service was very good. The salmon and pork chop were just average. Very good Caesar Salad.

I have worked in hospitality, so saying that the waiter was lazy was a bit painful. I was with 7 colleagues on an early Sunday night-6:00. We were seated right away. Our orders were taken, along with salads, and lots of side dishes. Wine suggestions were made and everything was going well, then the waiter just disappeared. We needed more sides, more wine, plates taken off the table. There was no one to be found and the restaurant was only about 75% full. We had to look for a waiter or a busboy for help. That happened for the last half of our meal and really spoiled what started out as our typically fantastic Flemings outing. We didn't order dessert or coffee, we just wanted to get outta there--but the waiter was no where to be found to give us our check. The manager had to go find him. Too bad.

We chose to eat at Fleming's due to its location being near our hotel, but I had doubts that it would be the steakhouse experience we really wanted. It turned out to be a fabulous experience! We had reservations and were seated immediately at a nice semi-circular booth. Our server could not have been more attentive, and the food was great! Two members of my party split a porterhouse steak and still had leftovers...the quality of the steak was what you would expect with prime and it was cooked perfectly. I ordered the sea bass--also delicious. We also had creamed spinach for the table and carrot cake for dessert. Everything was good. If given the opportunity, we will definitely return.

Me and my husband went here for dinner. We had Steak and Shortrib with salad and veggies - Lavacake for dessert...the food was excellent and the service was fantastic!!!! If you wanna have a great evening and the best food of your life, then you really should go to Fleming's. All the other guests seemed as impressed as we were. How come? We were treated like VIP's there and I am not overdoing it! I would really recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Spectacular food, spectacular menu, service beyond compare… Drinks are fantastic. What I liked the most was there steak truly was like butter. Soft and supple and cooked with the precise amount of spice. Sides are delicious. Yea, totally worth it 👏

Absolutely loved this place! The seafood tower was amazing, the steaks were amazing and the drinks were great as well. I loved that Andrew or whomever passed the message onto him that it was my wife’s birthday. The fact that he mentioned it won me over! On top of that they were able to work us in before our reservation Fleming’s downtown will definitely be on the list for our future LA visits!

When we realized that it was going to be packed anywhere we wanted to go for dinner in Valentine’s Day. Called around to c if there Bar was open seating and there was, so we went there. The happy hour fine and so was the Service. The issue become that the steaks were not done correctly. The ribeye I ordered was medium not medium rare. My wife’s steak had the same problem. We genuinely were very nice letting the wait staff know the issue. They asked if I wanted a new one to replace it, but I said no because I never return anything back to the kitchen. Just thought as a courtesy they would take something off the bill. Nope. Our friend in the group noticed that her bill did not reflect the mistakes that she had with her meal as well. Bottom line is that if you are serving a “quality steak or food” it needs to be up to par. Lastly, the wine list could have been more extensive.

At a very busy time can test restaurant, but the service was excellent, food well cooked and tasty steaks , did very well

The server was not exceptionally friendly, and was slow considering the restaurant was not busy at all that night, only ⅓ to ½ full. We chose to eat outside. The bread comes with two types of cheeses, but we would have preferred butter. We bought two filet mignons from the prix fixe menu which did not include sides, but did include a roasted tomato bruschetta and a dessert. The steaks were cooked properly and i enjoyed my mushroom topping but the blackberry topping on my daughter's steak was too sweet. The walnut chocolate pie was very good. The worst part was having to pay for parking because our server was so slow that we had to park for 2.5 hours. the restaurant does validate parking tickets but only for 2 hours, so we ended up paying $20 for parking. The food runners were friendly at least.

It was my first meal as an empty nester, and I wanted to treat myself not far from my bed and breakfast inn. I chose Fleming's, and I am glad I did. The wine list comes to you on an i-Pad as well as an old fashioned menu. Everything is a la carte, so it definitely is not the place for an every day meal. But it was perfect. The ambiance is wonderful, the location ideal.

Late in March 2015 my team and I visited Fleming's Steakhouse near the Convention Center in LA. We needed a professional, quiet, comfortable place for dinner with a customer, and Fleming's fit the bill nicely. It's very close to the Convention Center, the JW Marriott, and a dozen other hotels. This restaurant is big, and we were able to be seated without a reservation (not likely when a big exhibit is in town but we got lucky) and Scott was our waiter. He seemed to enjoy his job; he was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some excellent recommendations. Almost all of us had a steak of some sort, and they were great. But the best part was the conversation: we were able to have semi-private talks with our VIP customer without worrying about people overhearing our discussions. Now Fleming's is NOT cheap, so be aware of that; while the food and service is great their pricing lowers my rating of them for "Value." Also — everything is a la carte pricing. But the quality of the food is first-rate, the room is subdued and attractive, the staff is large so service is instantaneous, and the environment is great for a comfortable business discussion.

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Unfortunately, we were seated in a booth all the way in the back and the noise from the kitchen was unpleasant. Make sure to request a table away from the kitchen! This lowered our rating to very good because noise was so substantial. The bar area is very nice. Service was prompt and pleasant. The French onion soup was tasty and the wedge salad was good. The sourdough bread was good too. The ribeyes were nicely cooked. The mashed potatoes were also good. Definitely worth visiting during your stay.

Double bonus as we came here for brunch right before the Warriors v Clippers game. Very tasty food but limited options; service was fabulous! We had a little mix up with the dish but Michele (manager) was on it! Will be back for another pre-game experience.

The drinks and the food were awesome. Our main waitress was awesome, but overworked. One of our party had their steak done improperly. Supposed to be rare, came out almost medium. Took almost 5 minutes to flag down our waitress and then another 15 minutes to have the steak re-done properly. Rare steak is just 2 minutes per side. So that 20 minute delay in one of our party being able to enjoy his meal with the rest of us knocks down what would have been a higher review. Food is good, drinks are good, but if you have an issue with your meal it may be a long delay in getting that issue resolved.

A pleasant happy hour surprise in downtown Los Angeles. This place has a value menu that was very enjoyable. But I highly recommend stopping in during happy hour or any other time

I ate there four nights out of the last six all were pretty good except for tonight when after an hour the food never showed up the other couple that was with us got their food but it ended up getting cold they still charge us of course Pretty slow service maybe they were just busy and it was one of those things look to be charged after that fiasco was pretty much unforgivable make sure you stay on your waitstaff if you go to this restaurant

Great place for having dinner with friends to catch up or even dinner before heading to LA Live or the Staples Center. The steaks are great, drinks are awesome and the service is spot on.

We were here for a retirement celebration. I was greeted by a friendly hostess and personally escorted to our private room set up with white table clothed round tables which were great because round tables permit easier socializing. Cocktails were well crafted. The service was efficient and not intrusive. The menu for the event had been limited. There were plates of crab and shrimp as well as flat bread. Both were excellent. I had a steak which was ample and perfectly cooked. It was a prime cut and a bit fatty for my taste. If I have a complaint it was the lack of soundproofing of the room so it felt a bit as if the room next to us were guests at our event.

We had dinner here , great steaks and good sized portions. The service was very attentive and informative - Thanks Scott who served us , great job!

Easy to book on Open Table. When we arrived at the restaurant our table was not ready. The manager was very friendly and accommodating as we waited. The table was ready within 15 minutes of the reservation. The menu had a great selection of entrees! We really enjoyed the family style sides to share. The lobster mac n cheese was amazing!!! Highly recommend Flemings for great food and great service!

Went here before a show at the Microsoft Theater. If not going to an event at LA live, not sure why anyone would go to this location, as the neighborhood sucks. but that is what it is. The service as expected was great, and the food was good, although I do think when compared to other Steak Houses maybe on the higher end. Sadly the food quality does not match the price.

The food was great and so was the service! You can dress up or go a little more casual. The atmosphere is cool and not too stuffy. There is a bar area where you can wait for your party.

The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes and cream spinach were delicious. The best service was from Boone at the bar. He was friendly, omnipresent and spent time making a cocktail he had to look up. Great experience.

Famous for premium steak, Lava cake, grilled rock lobster in medium scale steak house ambience. Lively place where you can feel more relax & comfort while dining. Good for family, friends or couple. Tourist friendly. Credit card is accepted. If you drive, you can easily find plenty of space behind the building for parking.

I am health care worker and was staying at Ritz and not much for food options. Chose Flemings as figured dependable. Was not cheap but figured hey its flemings.....placed order for pick up at 8 pm and got text that food was ready for pick up. Came by immediately and food was cold (ordered steak and asparagus). Very disappointing. I have eaten out at home (palm springs and food has always been hot and delicious) and especially for a higher end place like Flemings. Am trying to support restaurants during this troubling time and even gave generous tip (>20%) but felt ripped off. Wont come back even when COVID 19 madness goes away. Also asked for utensils and was told "yes will take care of that" was walking away when I looked in bag and no utensils. Wont come back and dont recommend during this COVID madness. We are trying to help you stay open by patronizing you..Other thing steak had no garnishings felt like was eating left overs. Terrible experience ((and WAS NOT CHEAP) Never again

good service by a waitress who genuinely seemed to like her job. Ate there both nights, but food quality didn't seem the same. Maybe because we came after 8 pm.

This is a very solid steakhouse with a good atmosphere and a very good location. If you plan to attend an event at L.A. LIVE, you really can't beat this place for dinner and/or drinks before or after your event. I ordered the porterhouse and it was excellent. I'm not a huge fan of black pepper and the steak was pre-seasoned with a fair bit of it, but all in all it was still a very good steak. They have a good selection of appetizers and sides too, and an excellent chocolate lava cake for dessert.

The level of service, professionalism, and food preparations was inconceivable for a special event we held at Flemings in Los Angeles. Our family and friends were bedazzled by the level of service from our assigned three waiters, the food prepared and cooked to perfection (i.e. zero complaints from my guests ordering nearly every dish and drink on the menu) and the token of candlelit chocolate truffles for our special honoree. Simply put, impeccable beyond definition

Late Saturday visit. Did have roster action and seemed you needed it as busy. Got great booth for two of us. Service little slow to start but suspect just that time of seating. Standard steak menu and food options. Good wedge salad, tasty belly pork though light on serving size. Great ribeye, choose the aged as made a difference. Split a baked potato a they don’t have fries on menu but later saw them deliver to a table. Good waiter, efficient throughout.

LA is a city with what feels like an infinite amount of steakhouses. So what differentiates one steakhouse from the other? First off, I really like the scene of this spot. Elegant ambience of rich, welcoming environment of wood, leather, and subdued lighting. It is so important for me for the wait staff to be pleasant so that I can enjoy my food and evening. EVERYONE was actually nice in this place. Definitely wins points from me. So much exciting food... so little space to write about it. The certified Angus beef porterhouse for two was cooked to perfection and absolutely divine. If it ain't obvious to you already, I like meat. I deal with it a lot. It's tasty. I'm good at it. It was an amazing piece of steak but so damaging to the waistline!! Whatever, we only live once, right? Having steaks and don't know what to order for the sides? Asparagus is a no-brainer. The grilled high country asparagus taste as awesome as MacGyver was cool. Fleming's holds up against the top tier steak houses in LA, which says a lot. This is the true truth as I say it as it is...

Classic steakhouse close by the crypto.com arena and the Novo, the latter of which is the reason why we came here on a weeknight for dinner prior to a concert. We split a salad and tuna tartare for apps, and also split a tomahawk between 3 of us. My sister had scallops while my cousin ordered his own filet mignon. We requested medium and it did come out that way. Service was on the slower side but was nice. We ended the meal with a chocolate lava cake, which I didn’t realize was 1,200 calories, but was good to split for a sweet end. Their espresso machine wasn’t working that night so we weren’t able to get any lattes but their coffee is made separately, so that’s an option if you need a pick me up and a latte isn’t an option. There’s validated parking or other parking lots outside of LA Live.

I went to celebrate Christmas Eve dinner with my family... and it was a great success. The truth is that in the USA you can also eat very well... yes, you have to pay for it! We have Caesar salad (very rich), Squid (rich) and Tartar. And second rate RIBEYE (incredibly rich and well cooked)..I am Spanish and the touch of meat was perfect For dessert, a Chocolate Cake. And a fine Australian wine The amazing service...Super recommended. Yes...it does not work your website

The steak I got was OK, it was good but not as great as I expected. The whole meal was just not a 5 star experience. I was a little underwhelmed with this restaurant. I have eaten at Flemings in Charlotte NC and it was really great. This one was not as wonderful as I was expecting.

The steaks here are incredible. It is always busy before showtime so best to visit via a reservation or later in the evening. It is a really great place to eat. I spent many date nights here. Great chocolate puddings!!

Came in for my birthday before attending a Kings game on a Thursday evening. The three of my clients and I arrived late due to the parking lot valet SW was not accessible from Olympic Blvd but the staff here was awesome and set us up at a booth with a great of the view of the wine cellar and entire restaurant dinning area. We started our meal with fresh bread, a bottle of Dreaming Tree merlot which was yummy. We then followed with Fleming salads split and we made it easy and ordered 3 bone in 20 oz rib eyes and one dry rubbed rib eye with no bone in. For sides we went family style and I ordered the mushrooms, signature potatoes and cream spinach. Everything was spot on awesome! Service was solid because we were running late and they knew we were in a bit of a hurry. Even the manager came over to me and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and I mentioned it was my birthday the following day. He returned before I departed and gave me a box of truffles and gift card! I thought that was so thoughtful! Only negative was the ladies didn't finish all their food and the Staples Center has a no food or drink from outside policy and they ended up trashing their leftover steaks and sides. I didn't have any issue because I devoured my entire entrée! Thank you to the entire Fleming's staff for making my birthday and business dinner a memorable dining experience! I'll definitely be returning again!

Excellent food and very friendly service. I enjoyed a first class steak cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and the atmosphere perfect for a business meal.

We had a wonderful meal in this efficient yet nice restaurant. Great food, great service and we were particularly impressed with the waiter who carried about 6 plates on his outstretched arm!

For the American standards this restaurant is fantastic. The meat is simply divine, the service is quick. Fun fact: the waiter who served us, when he heard we were Italian, exchanged some words in Italian with us and told us that he knew the Como Lake (where we live)

Finally went here after years walking by on my way to Kings games. Went here on date night with my wife. Everything was great from the appetizer to the steaks. We had lobster Mac and cheese for our side. Very good. Steaks were amazing and service was great. Definitely will go here again

We were there with a private dining group. Nice room, very elegant. Service was a little slow, but not horribly so. Kind of what you expect with a larger group. There was a lot of food. The poke and other seafood was very fresh. My steak was cooked perfectly All very well prepared and service was great to a point. I think they were under staffed though. But they did hustle. We recommend and would go back again.

We just recently got married & this was our 1st week anniversary & we choose Flemings to celebrate. The service was great from the 2 hosts to Julian our table server. The steak was amazing & the lobster mash just perfect! We were given a lovely glass each if champagne to congratulate us by the hosts then upping leaving a lovely box of truffle chocolates with a little candle. Perfect ending to a lovely meal.

My son and I were on a father/son trip and had dinner here. Bottom line is my steak was brought out by expediter, under cooked and cold. I waited for at least 10 minutes for server to check on us and he never did. I flagged the manager and he promptly took my steak back and re delivered the same cut steak now over cooked and tough. Ultimately, he comped my meal which was a nice gesture, but they have to lose the Golden Corral mentality. I will not be back to Flemings until they do.

Having been to Lawrey's, Morton's, and a few others whose names I can't recall, I can honestly say that Fleming's is the best steakhouse I've been to in the LA area. My steak was cooked perfectly, sides of Mac and Cheese and Brusell Sprouts were both fantastic. Also, the bartender knew how to make my Vodka Collins correctly. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and the staff went out of their to make us feel special. They even decorated our table with rose pedals along with a card. I have to say the service was some of the best I have ever experienced at any restaurant. Everyone from the host, to our servers, they all went out of their way to make this an exceptional experience. Couldn't say more about the incredible and second to none service. We will certainly be going back soon.

The atmosphere is relaxing and the food was delicious. I ordered the prime rib burger. It melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this place to everyone in the area.

Great service! food is averaged priced for this kind of steakhouse. The starter was nothing special we had soup. however the Filet was tremendously good!

We arrived pretty late due to everything around us closing early due to the protest. Our uber driver helped us to find another location quickly to eat verse going downtown LA. The host was amazing, after checking with his manager my friend and I were able to be seated and served. We met the most generous, friendly, polite, smart gentlemen who began to assist us and inform us that the kitchen was closing and he wanted us to look over the menu and place our food order. Sorry Mr. Jackson he was surreal from his drink recommendation and food pairing. We strike up a conversation and we learned so much about him. He left an impressionable aura that allow us to inform his mom that she has done an outstanding job of raising him. Shout out to all the single mothers. We see you because your sons are represented you in real life. He shared his lifetime goals and we felt how much he love his fiance. I believe we got invited to the wedding so we will await our invitation. But it has been quite sometime that customer service was not only delivered but passion to serve the public was present. Listen the aesthetic is beautiful. The food was amazing and if you get Jackson, you are in great hands. Thank you Flemings for an epic experience and hospitality.

as expected , service was very good , wine list was complete except for no red wines from Mexico and no silver oak. price point was as expected

Great location at #LALIVE and it's not just the amazing food and great wine selection, it's the knowledge and the passion of the servers to help find the perfect combination for your meal.

Excellent steak! Excellent food and the best service! Will definitely go there next time I am in LA.

I am in LA for business and visiting my son at UCLA. We had dinner at Flemings and I knew it would not disappoint!. The Main Filet was top shelf, I had the Chilean Sea Bass. We also ha the beef carpaccio, the lobster tempura and the ahi tuna. What a feast ! Was son happy to get my son a decent meal !

We ate here using the Dine LA discount at lunch - a nice fixed price meal of soup, entree, and dessert. Very nice tomato bisque soup, tasty and well prepared small portion filet mignon with generous sides (creamed spinach and scalloped potatoes - both good), and good deserts (cheesecake and flourless chocolate; the cheesecake was a bit better, overall). Service was fairly good, though one of our three soups came out quite a bit later than the other two. Sitting is comfortable in a kind of classic steakhouse style - high-backed leather seat booths; overall darker lighting, quiet despite being on a bright street corner. Overall a solid meal and positive experience. Seems like it would be reliable, if not spectacular, for either lunch or dinner.

Fleming is always a favorite of mine. Visited while I was in LA and they did not disappoint. Always a pleasure good food, good drinks.

While you can spend some money over dinner here, it is worth it. We ate as a large group and we had calamari (which was amazing), steak, fish, lobster, lobster Mac and cheese (most of us agreed that this was the best item we tasted), and the wine list is extensive. Great meal.

My Husband enjoys a good Steak and oh boy does he get one here, cooked just the way you like it, side are great Bake potatoes, and spinach. I had Onion Rings and boy they where great too.

We went to this Fleming’s for Valentine’s Day. We usually go to the one in Utah, this one was just as good! Awesome atmosphere, we sat outside. Our servicer was very good and professional, and treated us like gold, even though it was a busy night. Awesome food, awesome service!

We had reservations for 11/25/18 at 6pm. I ordered a salad and my cousin’s ordered steaks, shrimp, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and other sides. The food and service was great. Due to the recall on romaine lettuce, my Caesar salad was made with Iceberg. It was delicious!!! This place is steps away from LA Live.

Their steaks are incredible!!! I've been there twice and I really enjoyed having my dinner there. Highly recommend this steak house.

Yes, it's a chain, but it's the best chain of its kind—I always leave more than satisfied and more than ready to return. The ambiance is warm and comfortable; the service is excellent; and the food is outstanding. On this visit my friends and I tried several of their small plate selections—filet mignon, shrimp and scallops, and lamb chops—all of them were excellent and quite generous for smaller portions. The available side dishes are always very good, too; just take your pick and enjoy. Great wine and spirits selections enhance the meal—before, during and after. Given its location, this venue is a great place for dinner before or after an event in or near LA Live, including the Staples Center, the Microsoft Theater or the LA Convention Center.

We arrived to enjoy a meal before a Clippers game. Place was crowded but we had a Reservation so we are able to sit down immediately. Our waiter was friendly and the service was fairly prompt at the beginning of the meal, but after our appetizers and first course salads service became very very slow. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. I had the wedge salad, deliciously smaller portion than other wedges I have had. Others in the group had the French onion soup and said it was incredible. The main filet was excellent. Asparagus, potatoes and the onion rings rounded out the sides and they were perfect for a group of 5 to share. Finished off by sharing a slice of cheesecake which was incredible. In and out in 1:45 minutes.

On a game night it is very difficult to get a table at one of the many restaurants located in the LA Live complex if (1) you don't arrive early or (2) didn't make a reservation. We struck out at a number of places before walking into Flemings and getting a table without so much as a two minute wait. We soon found out why. Upscale steakhouse chains aren't known for their cheap prices but this outpost of Flemings would make most others blush. There's not one appetizer on the menu for less than $13.50 and the restaurant has the guts to charge $19.95 for mussels. Entrees are no better - the cheapest item is a double chicken breast for $36.95 and a minuscule 6 oz filet mignon will set you back $41.95 (the cheapest steak available). If the food and service was amazing then perhaps it would be worth the hefty bill. But they're not. Do yourself a favour and skip this place and try one of the many other restaurants. Or simply enter the Staples Center and chow down on some hot dogs and beer knowing you will have saved a ton of cash even at their outrageous prices.

I love Fleming's. I had the opportunity to be in various Fleming's and it's my favorite steakhouse in US. Beautiful ambient, the best meat cuts, very good wine selection. Perfect place.

Went prior to a concert at the Microsoft Theatre. We both ordered the Prime Burger from the Happy Hour Bar Menu. The burger which was average at best came with fries. Service was very good. Prices are a bit high but that's common for restaurants and parking at LA Live.

Their happy hour is for bar seating only, and get there early becuase it fills up FAST! Between 4-6, beer is $3 and most cocktails are $6-8. Wine is also highly reduced, But the bargain is their burger, which is about $8-9. It's HUGE, served with enough lettuce and sliced tomato to make a salad out of, and the fries are exquisite! This is the same burger which is on their menu for about $20 in the main restaurant. Also, the appetizers, also under $8 are dilectible. My favs are their chili calamari and the Carpaccio. Treat yourself before a Laker or Clippers game, or just if you happen to be around LA Live for any reason.

We did not come in for a real dinner but more of a late night snack. To that affect we just ordered a few appetizers - missing out on the main focus of he place which is prime steaks. The appetizers we ordered were: the Potato Leak Soup (outstanding), Caesar Salad (kind of dry, lacking a rich dressing and no anchovies), toasted Brussels Sprouts- tasty but very heavy as they seem to be roasted in bacon fat, Ahi Tuna Poke (Outstanding except the aoli was bland) and Calamari (mediocre - soggy, bland). Seems like for a high-end steak place we would have found excellent food across the board. Service and atmosphere were awesome. Seating next to the kitchen was pretty noisy and chaotic.

The style of the restaurant is great and you can feel a bit overwhelmed when you enter. High ceiling, well dressed waiter, nicely dressed tables, etc. The carte does not offer a large choice. The meat I ordered was too much cooked and there was a big piece of fat that was not eatable. The portion was very small and you could see that the dish stayed too long below a heating lamp as the sauce was kind of dry. I was disappointed especially when it consider the price point.

This place is really good, but a bit over priced. I'm used to Gibson and Mortons in Chicago. This place is very similar. Maybe I'm just used to the other steak houses and I'm too critical. Creme de brule was outstanding!

It’s a consistent steak house with amazing servers. That said, the ambience is terrible; lit up and loud like a department store. It’s very bare-bones. In addition, the filet was overdone and the manager was very patronizing. There are so many amazing restaurants in LA, maybe try another?

Although they took us last minute (it was late in the evening) I was disappointed in both the food and service. Instead of butter, they serve some sort of cheese with their bread but do not inform you beforehand - I don't eat cheese and nearly threw up when I bit into my bread. Even my dining companions who do eat cheese said it tasted awful. We gave our server part of our order in type-written form and he still got it wrong. I asked for my steak well-done and emphasized that I meant well-done but it was still under-cooked. They rectified both of these issues but would prefer there not be issues in the first place - especially as we were starving. They also weren't sure if we could still order dessert since the kitchen was closing and rather than rush, we opted to skip it. For this much money, I'd recommend going to The Palm instead - it's only a few blocks away and both the service & food is much better.

I ate here twice during my business stay. I'm t you ally not a steakhouse guy but the food is always good here. It's not cheap but it's a reasonably good value. The room is very nice. The staff are responsive and knowledgable. The steaks are always cooked perfectly. The sides are always tasty. The only gripe I'd have is going on outside...the homeless problem rivals San Francisco and they are brazen about 'getting in your grill' for money. One after another...it's like a parade or a receiving line as you walk down the sidewalk.

The El Segundo Fleming's Prime Steak House is off the chart for food excellence in quality, presentation and taste. There's something for anyone & everyone to savor in uncommon epicurean delight, from an aperitif, to starters, to entrees, sides & amazing deserts. However, this 5 Star venue drops 1 whole point due to the rdiculous noise level, both in the main dinning room, due to tables too close and poor acoustic noise absorption. The loudness of Fleming's taints & distracts from of their other perfect beautiful offerings to our 4 other senses. Carpeting and fabric on walls would take care of this in high noise level. If one wants to fully appreciate a very lovely and elegant dinning experience, dine either quite early or rather late evening. The staff is very friendly but somewhat compromisef in attentiveness due to too many tables of guests to serve. This also needs to be addressed by management, especially during peak serving hours. If you a special occaision, such H as birthday or aniversary, let the hostess team kow and manage the will swoon all over you and your table, which will also include a gift card and a box of delicious chocolate truffles. Lastly, Costco has Fleming's gift cards: 2 $50.00 cards for $80.00, giving you an immediate 20% discount, Wichita really only pays for the sales tax and a portion of the gratuity for the overworked servers. All in a this restaurant gets 4.5 stars of 5. If they eliminate the very high noise level They have 5 stars in a heartbeat, because the food, ambiance, menue & wine list are all truly amazing. Pricey, fancy, but worth the occasional splurge
My boyfriend and I went here for our last dinner in L.A. It was the perfect choice. We stumbled upon it and I'm glad we decided to come here. This is not a place for cheap eats - but the food is worth every bit. I had a peach moscow mule which was super tasty and I recommend. They also have an incredible wine selection (even by the glass), so I also had a reasonably priced glass of red wine. Magnificent! This is one of those restaurants where the servers treat you like you're the only table theyre serving. My boyfriend got steak (they have an excellent selection of steaks) and cheesey potatoes as a side. I had the beef carpaccio as an appetizer which was perfect. I've had the same dish other places and this one took the prize. For my entree I had shrimp over squash with a white sauce - incredibly filling for a relatively small portion. We didn't even want dessert! I enjoyed my time here. This is the place you take someone on a date if you want to impress them. We got seats at a comfy corner booth that was intimate and plush. Pricey place but you get what you pay for! I don't think you will leave disappointed.
