Nothing wrong with the food, just uninspiring and expensive. I had the trout, which came with rather unsavory sides and without any kind of sauce. The trout was fresh and tasteful, but it was crying out loud for company that enhanced its flavor. The place has a certain "flavor" to it, but it is rather crowded and busy, which makes it a bit inconvenient for quiet conversation.

We all were in the mood for burgers and since they were highly recommended, that's what we all had. Surprisingly good for an Italian (or was it French??) restaurant! Very nice atmosphere, service a little slow but it was very busy. Seemed a little pricey but not too bad....

Nice pasta but the place it is too noisy for a pleasant dinner. Pasta is well cooked but it doesn't have nothing special for comment

This was a perfect spot for our larger group of 7 with a curtained alcove that afforded just the right amount of privacy and ensured we could speak to one another with out raising our voices and disturbing other guests. This old fashioned spot opened in the late 90's with an evocative feel of East Coast Italian restaurants from the forties and fifties. I loved it's casual ambience and its straightforward lack of pretense. We began our meal with shared starters of warm olives, spiced almonds, a double order of crostini topped with prosciutto and ricotta and their delicious caper laden broccolini. Pasta mains change with the seasons and I enjoyed an excellent version of spaghetti carbonara with peas while many at the table opted for the farfalle with summer squash and zucchini. Also recommended by our group was the seared scallops and the roasted chicken. Portions are hearty and very light eaters may even want to share a pasta. For dessert, a yummy olive oil cake, an almond cream tart, chocolate and hazelnut gelato some espressos and sambucas. A delightful casual meal in Pacific Heights. With tax & tip and moderate alcohol consumption figure about $65-75 per person.

Love this area of town and was lucky to stumble in to Florio without knowing a thing about it. Though somewhat full, we were given a table for two. Had pleasant service from the gentleman seating us to the servers. My daughter and I split the chicken for two (which my daughter said she had been ordering roast chicken in different places in her travels, Italy too, and that this is the chicken she had been looking for!) Whew, glad she found it in her hometown! We also had a nice butter lettuce salad with a great dressing. Dinner bread great too. Oh! Really liked the red wine "on tap" (I had never heard of wine that way and was dubious but it was very good). Not a totally inexpensive meal, 2 glasses of wine, the roast chicken, and salad and was $100 with tip. I must say too that the staff hardly blinked an eye when I asked if we could move tables right before our main course. They accomodated us quite graciously. (We had the most annoying 2 women next to us talking loudly and badly about everyone they knew). Geez. Would like to definitely go back.

Florio has been on Fillmore for years, and consistently draws locals and tourists. Our first visit was a couple years ago, and this time also did not disappoint. The host was welcoming, the bar already booming at 6 p.m., and service was not intrusive. We began with drinks - as they were featuring rose wines, I tried a delicious Spanish rose and my husband had a very good martini, accompanied by herb-toasted almonds and green olives. Our entrees of albacore tuna, English peas, and Meyer lemon were perfectly cooked and delicious. We had a leisurely meal with no pressure to leave. A place to return to.

I ate at Florio with my daughter and my sister and her family during a recent stay in San Francisco. We had all just arrived in the city, my sister's family from London UK, so everyone was tired. We arrived at Florio at about 6:00, and they seated us at a window table although there was a reservation for the table at 7 pm. The waiter was accomodating and the service very professional. Food was very good. My sister and I split a salad to start, which they nicely brought on two plates. I had an unusual corn & ricotta ravioli with mascarpone and blackberry drizzle for the main course; the flavor was good but it could have used a bit more sauce. Desserts were delicious. The restaurant also accomodated a shared dinner (also split on two plates) and a picky 9-year old who only wanted spaghetti with butter. Would definitely try again.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. Lively bar scene, and a small dining area. We had requested a quiet table, which did not really exist here. We had as the first course lamb belly which was excellent, and the special salad with spinach, which was really "organic" and resisted biting (which wife did not like, but I like tough greens...). Wife had trout which was excellent, and my seafood stew was quite good. They also know how to make an East Coast gin martini. Service was excellent. Overall, good, except for the noise level, which younger folks do not seem to mind but we do.

We were looking for a reasonably priced dinner locale that was walking distance from our Japantown hotel and ran across Florio. The menu is eclectic Mediterranean, it caters to the neighborhood crowd, and it's clearly popular (do call ahead) - and from our visit it was easy to see why. We had an excellent waiter, who kept us happy and well-attended to even with a kitchen problem going on that night - dinner was slow, but our wine glasses and bread baskets stayed full (at no cost to us!) and when dinner did arrive it was excellent. I'll definitely visit again should I stay in that part of town on my next visit.

"john?" is the best maitre de there. They make and awesome dirty martini and steak frites.

We have eaten here three times now with our two children and absolutely LOVE this little gem! The ambiance is cozy, and very SF, and the food is some of the best we have had! If they have the scallops, order them! They are served with greens and crispy pieces of prosciutto that balance out the flavors perfectly! They are also very good with children and have an excellent selection of wines and mixed drinks! This is one of those places you should really visit and keep coming back to!

First time dining at Florio, I was somewhat disconcerted when my dining partner asked me about the blood dripping from my mouth. Little did I know that the burger which was ordered medium in this dimly lit dive would give me immortal life. Go figure......bad bad bad

Friendly service and quality food in a small French and Italian bistro. I know French and Italian? New chef is trending toward Italian but many French dishes remain., We had the rib eye for two and it was cooked perfectly and the frites were outstanding. What impressed me as well was the reasonably priced wine list. We had the second tier Chateauneuf du Pape from the makers of Vieux Telegraphe for $80; a real bargain.

On Fillmore St. Florio has been a cozy french bistro that contiues to please with good food and excellent atmosphere.

Friendly greeting at this nice sized eatery. Great table in the window. The drinks were fabulous..ice cold martini and the house special cocktail made with prosecco. We had the scallops and chicken. Both meals were great!

I just love Florio. It's such a classy place in a great location. Perfect for happy hour or date night. I took my GF here and my mom here on separate occasions. The service is excellent and I really like how they change the menu up every few months. The prices are typical for a restaurant of this quality in SF. I recommend the atmosphere of the restaurant and bar. After dinner or drinks it's recommended to walk around the area. Recommended as a local's spot.

On the somewhat shabby stretches of Fillmore Street there are many fine restaurants - this is on the edge of Pacific Heights, after all. Flora is small and intimate, feels like a neighborhood spot despite the high prices - quality food worth paying for. An Ahi tuna dish was modestly sized and delicious; the seafood stew is more generous - mussels, crab, cod and more. Fresh beet salad was good too. The wine list is decent. We reserved a private room for six of us and brought some wine of our own. The service was patient, knowledgeable, handled well some repartee with our raucous group.

I met a friend here for appetizers - we shared the toasted almonds with sage and the castelventrano olives and drinks. I had the Fillmore nouveau Cocktail ($11) (wild turkey rye, house made ginger syrup, orange bitters) which was perfect and she had the silvertap sauvignon blanc 2012 “woods vineyard,” estate, dry creek valley which is their house wine and very good value. Not inexpensive but very classy.

Great little French restaurant, a mainstay in Pacific Heights. Steak frites was amazing. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the fries were cooked in rice oil and were delicious. Excellent wine choices, reasonably priced, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Reservations are a must.

Nice for quiet evening cocktails and icecream.

Because this restaurant is in my neighborhood, I'm going to be less generous in my review so I can continue to get a reservation at a decent hour.. What can I say: The place is quaint and has that Parisian Bistro feel, inviting for a warm dinner and a well executed cool cocktail. Not everything is perfect, our server had the personality of Iceberg lettuce, but the food was what Vodka is to caviar...Whatever that means... If you are craving a hamburger, confit de canard or the perfect pomme frites, they can be found here on Fillmore St. Beware though, the menu can drastically change and what you were so yearning for might no longer be. No worries, the perfectly roasted chicken is always there for you.

We throughly enjoyed our dinner at Florio. The drinks, food and wine were very good, as was the service, which was provided with a perfect balance of good humor, information and informality. All in a very pleasant evening spent. We look forward to our next visit!

Florio has expanded their menu since the last time we visited and I appreciated the wider range of choices. I had the starter of burrata and prosciutto with greens which was quite good followed by a pasta special that had black truffles on it. The food is consistently good, and the service very good, but if falls just shy of being very good. We had guests and they enjoyed the ambiance and the dishes they ordered.

A small, local restaurant with a lot of charm. The restaurant kindly held a table though we were late arriving. Service was good at first, but seemed to wane after we failed to order wine and once the restaurant got busy. The almond snacks and meatball/capellini dishes were superb. Scallops with bacon, tomatoes, fennel and corn was not special: the flavors and textures did not complement one anotheR. Lively, but noisy!

Went last night for a birthday celebration. There were some aspects of the experience that were very good and some that were only mediocre. Let me elaborate. The service was good at first (the restaurant was first filling up), but as the meal progressed, getting attention of the wait staff became much more difficult. The atmosphere was okay, but the noise level was a bit too much for me. The food was very good but the portion size for the price was a bit stingy. I had the scallops (6 small for $28). Now really, they could have put a few more on there for that price. The others I was with also thought there food had great taste too. I think the best review we got at our table was the pork chop.

Like visiting friends Florio feels ...well...authentic. It has a bit of a small romantic feel with little nooks and a private room. Food was delicious from an autumn ravioli to an amazing chicken. The waiter recommended a wine that was a winning match with our meals and he also delivered great service (just the right amount of friendly). Highly recommended for an evening on Fillmore.

Enjoyed our evening overall at Florio, somewhere I've wanted visit for a while as looks so authentic and atmospheric from the outside. Inside, the ambience, good lighting and decor didn't disappoint. We booked our table for 8.45pm on a Saturday night, not especially late, but too late to have all the options on the menu (which are limited anyway, especially when you're a vegetarian) as they had run out of a LOT. Main dishes, that I'd initially picked were no longer available, and when we were handed the dessert menu, we then had it taken off us again as they'd also run out dessert! The staff were very friendly and apologetic, not their fault - the management/head chef in control of stock should have ordered enough for the evening's service. We would recommend Florio and would go again however go there early!

its good

The welcoming was horrible! Our server was very nice. The food lack flavor or seasoning. Not a pleasant experience

This place is perfect no matter what the ocassion. Local place with lovely longtime staff and nice bar area It’s half Italian fare and half french but everything is tasty. Great french country chicken, steak frites, and delicious salads. Great selection of wine & cocktails too!

Enjoyed a great dinner with scallops and branzino. Good menu and wine list. Service was swift, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Very good French food, although a bit overpriced (it's the Fillmore, after all)

Everyone in our party had a delicious meal. I ordered roast chicken with pan juices and polenta. A simple dish. It was absolutely amazing. So moist, so melt in your mouth. I am now totally spoiled, expecting other chicken dishes to even remotely taste like this. I don't know how they do it, but it works. A small, cozy Italian restaurant near Japantown and the Hotel Kabuki, where we stayed. I highly recommend it if you are nearby.

I went to the Fillmore neighborhood in San Francisco the other Friday night to try out a new place for me. I was with 3 friends and we arrived for our reservation right on time. We were offered two tables and chose the one in the window. It was a tight fit for the four adults but the placement out of the traffic was perfect for our group. Our server came right over and got us started with wine and sparkling water. We looked over the menu and made our choices. Two people had salads to start with the Cesaer being tasteful but the beets were bland and tough. The Cauliflower soup was delicious and just a bit of spice. Our main dishes were one tasteful bite after the other. The burger was cooked to perfection for my friend and arrived without onions as requested. My Steak and Frites was some of the most delicious steak I have ever eaten and the fries were hot and crispy. My friend had the chicken which was also full of flavor and enjoyed. The Veal chop was enjoyed by my very hungry friend and not shared with the group. The service was prompt and professional with a nice friendly tone. As we were by the door we had friends come in for their dinner and they noted that they eat here often as the menu changes with availability so you can try new dishes should you tire of the burger. We are putting this restaurant on our list of return tos.

Very good Italian restaurant in the trendy Fillmore street area. Very good service. Very good apetizers. Pasta also very good. I highly recommend A real discovery

Had a lovely dinner here. Started with the luscious Broccolini followed by very tasty scallops plated with 2 types of hearty beans. My friend enjoyed her Quinoa and Radicchio salad and the Trout. Split a yummy cheesecake tartlet to finish. Great service and comfortable ambiance brought it all together into a great dining experience.

This was a great find in Fillimore St. It was in a quiet neighbourhood and the staff were really friendly. There were also lots of regulars which added to the atmosphere. The ravioli in nut butter was divine. I would recommend this to anyone visiting San Francisco. Go away from the tourist areas and explore. It is well worthwhile.

Had dinner with a friend who lives in the area while visiting. We stayed for a couple of hours. Great place to hang out and talk. Food and service was very good. Nice variety of appetizers and entrees. I would return if I have the opportunity.

We ate yesterday at Florio. Nice restaurant we found through the Michelinguide. We were a bit dissopointed because teh Michelin said it t be an Italian restaurant which it isn't. Nice atmosphere, very helpfull waiter but the food isn't the same. I had an patee the campagne which was nice but not very nice plated. Then I had braised lamb on polenta. No, not a hit. My wife and kids had the same experience. Just go there for a drink because the atmosphere is really nice.

I cannot speak too highly of Florio on Fillmore in SF. I have gone there every year for over ten years and never been disappointed. John Castellano and his staff are prompt and friendly, even on bustling, busy nights. Dinners are not cheap but always delicious. Portion sizes are small enough that diners can indulge in cocktail, appetizer, entree, and dessert without feeling stuffed. During my June visit, I had the house cocktail, a small plate of pickled vegetables, and halibut with fennel, grapefruit, and olives. For dessert, I had sweet corn gelato with huckleberry sauce. With all the interesting flavors, I was satisfied without feeling I had eaten too much. The restaurant has the feel of a neighborhood bistro, quaint and cozy. If you live in or visit San Francisco, don't miss this place.

A Saturday evening dinner. Busy and happening, but reservations were a good call. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent service and great food. Enjoyed cocktails thru dessert and digestivos. Not rushed, timely services, excellent food. Nice variety of cocktails and wines. Highly recommend.

Decor wise not a bad place with a friendly welcome. We ordered chicken which was undercooked and to be fair were offered a replacement meal but I have an aversion to complaining and then recieving another offering from the chef after a previous experience of food poisoning. The waitress was really good and our meals were removed from the bill. I'm sure that this is not a regular occurence and am loathed to give a poor review but my experience was not good for this restaurant

Wine was the best part of the experience. Food was ok but overpriced. Service was underwhelming. All 5 water glasses were empty half way through the meal, an indication of how infrequently he checked anything. Quaint setting. Not much more I can say.

Visiting SF on business. After a brutal 12 hour work day, I realized I really needed some good food someplace quiet. Picked Florio's based on reviews and location within walking distance. Wandered in not long before closing time and was offered a seat at the bar. Didn't want a huge meal. Had a stuffed meatball (tomato sauce but no pasta), a side dish of roasted brussels sprouts, and two glasses of an excellent Nebbiolo (and it was their cheapest red by the glass). It was exactly what I needed, and probably the best moment of the whole trip. Note: it is not inexpensive. That small meal, two glasses of wine, and a generous tip came to $60. But in that moment it was worth it.

Went in late afternoon for drinks while waiting for a friend. Got a table outside. Lots of activity on Fillmore st. Drinks were fine, wait staff was great.

Had dinner at Florio on a Friday evening around 6.30 pm. Was dining alone, so sat at the bar, which for me worked perfectly. There were plenty of free tables at the back though. The lady at the bar was very nice and helpful. The decor gives the place a warm atmosphere: dark wood, dimm lighting. I had tagliatelle with clams, carlic, parsley, pecorino and lemon zest for main. Simple ingredients but the dish was packed with flavour, and the plating was pretty. Pasta was nice and thin, and perfectly cooked. I had a nice glass of grechetto to go with it. As a dessert I had the vanilla and espresso panna cotta, which was divine. Perfectly wobbly and a creamy, smooth texture. My dinner was around $45 which I think is good value considering the price level of San Francisco. I recommend Florio if you are looking for a bit more classy neighbourhood restaurant with a relaxed and warm atmosphere and tasty, but uncomplicated food.

What a great dinner! We had just walked out of a movie nearby, and lo and behold, miraculously, Florio had an 8:30 reservation in an otherwise totally full restaurant, at a beautiful table right up front. My steak frites were amazing, my fiance's octopus was wonderful, and my friend's rigatoni was crazy, crazy good. Worked out perfectly! Highly recommend.

Love the old school bar. Good cocktails. Only went here for a pre-dinner drink and would come back again to do the same

It was great to dine indoors again and receive excellent service and a delicious dinner. I recommend the trout and the bouillabaisse. Lots of tempting choices on the menu. All desserts wonderful.

Ate dinner with friends and family, and it was very pleasant. Food was very good and well prepared. Looking forward to a return visit.

Another neighborhood dining gem on the Filmore St strip. Attractive interior with nice bar. Small dining area along wall across from bar, and larger space in rear of restaurant. Very busy with energetic buzz, music in background, but no problem with conversation. Service professional, friendly, and efficient. Menu with small but nice range of choices, all properly cooked and attractively presented. Small but good range of wine choices by glass or bottle at fair mid-range price points ($40-$60 bottle). Florio is now on our "go-to" list for a return visit.

My husband always jokes that we can no longer enter any San Francisco eating or drinking establishment without being lost in a sea of 20-something "Google Bussers." Where do people in their 40s and 50s even go, we wonder? We walked into Florio a few days back on a whim, literally just walking by and intrigued by the fact it looked to be inhabited by real, live grownups. What a delightful stop. We sat at the bar and my husband enjoyed a few specialty cocktails, while I nursed a bourbon. The bartender recommended the crostini and the burger, and we didn't regret listening to her advice. Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. The inside of the bun was crisp and buttery, while the outside was soft and luscious. Meat cooked perfectly to order, and even the salad was bursting with flavor. Friendly patrons struck up conversation (this so rarely happens in San Francisco) and we left feeling grateful to have discovered this little gem of a restaurant in our favorite S.F. neighborhood.

Jan. 25, 2007. Warm and cozy neighborhood restaurant, good food and wine. Busy but comfortable.

Want to try a neighborhood restaurant full of local regulars rather than the big tourist spots downtown? It's well worth a taxi ride to Florio. My wife and I come to San Francisco every few years and always try to work in a visit here for fantastic food, friendly people, super service and a great bar.

The food and ambience was wonderful. My friend and I decided to eat here after enjoying some excellent margaritas. Since it was Friday night, we were lucky to get a table. I had delicious seared Black cod with very sweet grilled scallions. My friend had the Porcini fettucini with several varieties of mushrooms. We both enjoyed a yummy butter lettuce salad, which was perfectly dressed and sprinkled with herbs. Clean plates and happy campers all around. Dessert was a shared Huckleberry creme brulee. Food and service was excellent and I look forward to coming back again.

It's my wife's birthday and Florio was suggested as a great restaurant. For the most part it was but we were disappointed on two counts. She ordered the Bronzini and as usual it came as a whole fish. In our experiences a restaurant will offer to debone it after the presentation. Not only was that gesture not made, when I asked them to do it our waiter was resistant. When he returned with the fish, it was a mess. He warned us to watch out for bones had sure enough there were many. As for my meal I started with the crostini that was awesome. Loved every bite. Then came my Scallop dish with 4 medium sized scallops. Luke warm at best. Ate a half of one and my wife tasted the other half. That was when the waiter returned to see how everything was. I told him of the issue with the temp of the scallops and he offered to fix it. When I got the dish back they only gave me 3 scallops apparently because I ate one already. How cheap. And still not hot just warmer. The saving grace to the meal was that the bed of a roasted red pepper ratatouille was amazingly tasty.

I have eaten at Florio five or six times over the last three years and each time it is wonderful. The wait staff is very professional and the food is just great. It seems like the waiter knows just when to appear and the bartender makes the best cocktails. On this last visit we had Aperol Spritzers which were as good as any I have had in Italy. I had a fish stew, which was very similar to Cioppino, (I forget what the name of it was) and it was pretty amazing. Good sized portions. Location on Fillmore Street it great for window shopping at night. Flora tends to be on the expensive side, but I think it is worth it. One never feels rushed here. I will keep going back whenever I am in San Francisco.

Very impressed by this restaurant. Ambiance is great, food is tasty and very good service. The seafood soup and salmon is delicious!

Charming local place...good bar, but a bit noisy. Best dishes seafood stew and duck...but it's no longer on the menu. Had duck as a special. Please put it back on the menu!

We came here several years ago but decided to return while visiting family nearby. The restaurant is in a nice area of Pacific Heights. Ambience is pleasant. We ordered mussels, grilled endive salad and stuffed meatballs. Entrees were sea bass, tortellini and fish stew. All very good. Dessert was carrot cake and 2 flavor of gelato. Topped off with cappuccino and port. Very good dinner - definitely will go back.

This wonderful restaurant is small and cozy. The food is a combination of French and Italian. The chicken dish served with roasted asparagus and onions is a delight to the taste buds. A nice selection wines and wonderful wait staff.

Florio has never disappointed us in our many visits, over many years. The service is professional and friendly. The changing menu offers choices of seafood, meat and vegetables dishes. (The seafood stew is excellent.) Desserts are delicious, too. This is a well run, long lived restaurant that is greatly appreciated by its frequent diners.

We were a party of nine and I am sure we contributed greatly to the noise level. People are tightly packed here and any long conversation is impossible. But the service was good and the staff friendly. Everybody liked their meals.

Excellent service from the bartender, a nice glass of wine, and some delicious food at Florio! The tagliatelle with bolognese was great, and the fried Brussels sprouts were the perfect complement.

Great place, the staff team work together and produce the best in customer service. The food choice certainly makes the grade and good quality ingredients. A certain stop for the discerning diner.

Our friends made reservation for dinner at this place. Warm and good authentic atmosphere, with a bit of old school family restaurant this place offer great food. The salads where excellent, the burger was well made and the steak was beautiful. Service was excellent as well. This place is perfect for romantic dinner or small group gathering. Very nice.

Excellent bistro food. Classic presentations. Not a Michelin class, but very well done. I had the fish stew, which was as good as it can be, full of fresh seafood in a rich broth. My buddy and his wife had the mega-steak for 2, which can really feed 4 or 5 people. You will enjoy the intimacy of this place.

This is one of my very favorite restaurants in San Francisco. If I could, I would have dinner there every night. It has a New York vibe to it; cozy and intimate. I sat at the bar for dinner and made immediate friends. The food....I loved their chicken; a speciality. Great wine list too. I'll be back soon...for sure.

Florio is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant! Nestled in the bustling Filmore district it has a cozy and relaxed feeling. The menu changes with many seasonal options and is always fresh, this is what we love about the area. This was my second visit since moving to San Francisco and I was not disappointed. Previously I had a special, the veal meatballs and it was superb. The steak frites this time was done to perfection. They also have many great starters to choose from. A nice wine selection is available, and specials are offered every day. Always look for the blackboard menu options.. Make reservations in advance, or try for a seat at the bar.

We ordered the signature items on the menu: steak frites, their roasted chicken and the porcini fettucine. All 3 dishes were EXCELLENT. The fries were amazing. A bit pricey but it is also on popular Fillmore Street. We would definitely recommend this!

Weekends can be crazy busy so we love coming here during the week for a burger or their delicious steak frites. Their duck is very tasty too...or scallops. The staff is so friendly and the service is terrific. Wine choices are good, but their cocktails are great! That said, tried the Grouper this week and it was SO disappointing. Grouper is a delicate and delicious fish. Love it served grilled with a simple side like haricot vert and tiny fingerling potatoes. Should have known by description...this fish was cooked perfectly, so more’s the crime... But it was served over a bed of soupy blackened chickory with hard turnips. So Sad. You guys KNOW how to cook fish...PLEASE change the side dishes to something simple and more elegant befitting this delicious fish! And how about some fabulous local Petrole Sole or Monterey Sand Dabs? Man does not live by meat alone!

An under-publicized local watering hole that is also a great french restaurant. Reservations often needed. Classic French food like Steak Frites but also local CA dishes. Meatballs are the best.

Florio is in Pacific Heights, a very nice area. One I don’t get over too with any regularity. I was asking my friends on the last visit where the best fries and most fun local ambiance would be – and both of them hands-down said Florio. True! If you like locals, nice people, super service, white-table cloths, and fantastic food… then this is your place. I learned that my friends eat at Florio at least once a week, and are like most – regulars. Everyone knows everyone and it is wonderfully friendly. The food is amazing… and a MUST TRY is the side of fries with the lemon-mayonnaise. That and the spicy mayonnaise… two flavor sensations I’ve never had before on fries was to die for! EXCELLENT!

Delightful! Special! Delicious. Perfect for a special occasion. My teen had a yummy dish of pasta, friend a steak, I had mozzarella baked meatballs. Man, it was heaven. Cocktails were divine and set the mood. Noise level perfect-we could hear each other and ourselves. Wait person offered our guest a choice of red wine tastings! Slam dunk great time!
My guests were delighted,.
Just last week I had visitors from Chicago, who wanted to go to an Italian restaurant close by. I chose Florio because it was close enough to walk, and mid-range in price. Our reservation was immediately honored and we were delighted with our selections, and with the bill.
