Excellent food, unique experience, not elegant or intimate

By Daryl M |

Took my 18 year old son for his birthday... good choice for this type of event. The young man appreciates good meat and can do some damage. Lots of choices on the side bar. Not cozy... Many people constantly walking around. The servers, staff, and customers heading to the market bar for salad and sides. Don't expect to be left alone for quiet conversation. My reservation was for 7:30pm. I was sat at 8:15. I have seen this issue come up on other reviews. You have been warned.

Everything was Excellent!!

By JJ18 |

Everything was Excellent!! The attendants, the meets that comes in a roll, the buffet with salads and other foods that the brought in our table. The parking is free if you park or valet in front of the entrance. They have two prices, $39 and $55 (the difference is the variety of meets that comes in the table (I got the $39 and it was more then enough).

Great steak as usual

By GallopingHelm |

If you've even been to a Fogo de Chao before, you know what to expect. The salad bar was huge with a great variety and everything was super fresh. The meats were good, but they didn't come around as often as we were accustomed to at some of the other locations. That said, when we asked for a certain cut that had not been around yet, they were out with it shortly thereafter. Overall was very good, and of course expensive. With three bottles of wine, it was over $800 for the four of us. Make sure to save room for the cream de papaya dessert!

Best steak I’ve ever had!

By Stephen U |

This is by far my new favorite restaurant! My wife and I went here just before a marriage retreat and had a great time! The staff was awesome and really made the evening special. Plus there was not one thing I tried that wasn’t outstanding!

Disappointed

By r c ! |

Cattle Call. Leading customers to slaughter. One of the parking valets and the water guy were nice. Over-sold, under-delivered experienced. No joy anywhere. Not at the hostess stand, not in the dining room. Not in the service. Not in the food (OK, the bacon at the salad bar was quite special.) Dessert took forever and when asked to replace a scoop of melted ice cream, she said yes and never came back. Buyer beware.

Absolutely exceptional service.

By Daniel D |

I was so impressed. I expected great food and they didn’t disappoint. The lamb here was better than I remember from my visits to other Fogo de Chao’s I have visited. The lamb wasn’t the only exception; the waitstaff was just impressive. They were busy, as expected but the staff here was engaged and attentive and we really felt noticed and cared for. It was quite a good experience for me and my daughters for this special meal. I just had to tell the manager who ended up giving us a gift certificate for our next meal. You can bet I’ll be back. Thank you. Fogo de Chao!

Birthday Celebration

By Norma K |

Hubby and I had made a reservation about a month ago and the date finally arrived. We were not disappointed. We were seated the moment we arrived and a waiter came to our table to explain the procedures. The meat arrived hot and cooked to perfection. The salad bar could have been replenished more frequently and tidied up a bit in order to get 5 stars. But, if you are a carnivore you will love this place. I was surprised at this price point that patrons were dressed mostly too casual.

Great service

By Valerie |

Someone recommended we go here for a nice night out. Unlimited Meat choices, huge variety at food bar, delicious non alcoholic drinks and wonderful table service. We were eating within 2 minutes of sitting down. There's something for everyone! Totally worth every penny.

Birthday Celebration at Fogo de Chao

By TESMom |

It was my first time back since the pandemic but everything was wonderful as usual. They took the necessary precautions and still provided their same top notch service, food and drinks. We had the salad bar and the Brazilian barbecue and they were all good. I also had the caipirinha which was delicious. We tried their mango and passionate caipirinhas which were good but I still prefer the original the best. I will be back again soon.

Very SLLLOOOWW Take Out Service

By Travelpr02010 |

After a long road journey and nearby hotel stat we decide to try the take-out option rather than a drive thru burger place. Hoping for something wholesome, quick and easy to prepare we opted for their salad options. The ordering process at the bar was a joke; I was passed around to 3 different people including one of the managers who all swore to help immediately. Finally one of the waiters arrived and took my simple order of two salads. After a further 20 minute wait and my questioning the status of my order I was advised I could wait in my car for the delivery. Another 10 minutes later our salad meal arrived!! Admittedly it was delicious but I'm still wondering if it was worth the hassle and the wait??? Despite this experience we'd give them another try IF we were ever again in the area!

Tons of great food

By TIMOTHY V |

I choose the Gaucho Buffet for lunch and my wife had sirloin all foods were prepared fresh and delicious. Sodas as in all restaurants in this price range are over price. Servers were great. Unless you need meat you could do well with vegetables on salad bar . When I eat at fast food places it’s usually about 8 or 9 but for $15 you could have a better and healthier dining experience.

Birthday Celebration

By smoss999 |

We ate here for my birthday on Saturday and it was great. There is a great selection of salads, cheeses, meats, fruits, etc on the market table. Just be sure not to fill up on the market table, and save plenty of room for the meat. Most everything we tried was delicious. I'm not a lamb fan so we skipped the 2 lamb dishes and the beef ribs were just ok, but everything else was amazing. The parmesan crusted pork loin and bacon wrapped chicken were probably my favorites, but everything was really good. I also must say that the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had as well. My tip would be to pace yourself during your meal. We would turn our card to green get a few meats, eat them and sit and talk for a bit before getting more. We were there just shy of 2 hours and were so full. The staff was very attentive too and were great about refilling our drinks and checking with us to see if there was a particular meat that we hadn't had yet that we wanted to try. Also, since it was my birthday they gave us a dessert for free. They let you pick anything on the menu and I chose the molten chocolate cake with ice cream. It was so good. I definitely recommend coming and checking it out. Just be sure to come hungry.

First time ever visiting your establishment ( let me say I was very excited to dine with you) Although I was very disappointed and upset...one hour or more into our meal we were told by one of your employees that we must request filet mion...bone in ribeye and beef ribs...another employee said that is not true...finally with cold mashed potatoes finally we had an opportunity to indulge in you filet mion...it took another 45 minutes or more to get another piece that wasn't even medium well... Again I was expecting much more...I often cook prime tenderloin and a tomahawk for my family at home and again very disappointed.

Amazing

By gabi |

It was perfect! The team was awesome! We would like to write a special comment regarding the waiter Adelar which took care of our table and made our experience even better

Lots of meat selections and variety

By 0504Traveller |

My friend really wanted to go to Fogo de Chao and as a vegetarian I wasn't interested but I decided to go and try it out. Their service is good, they offer tons of meat, and each server knows what kind of meat to serve based on the customers preference. The price also includes brazilian bread, plantains, and a salad bar. For the vegetarians, you can just get the salad bar but its the same price so while its a good deal for the meat eaters, its an expensive dinner for the vegetarians (The salad section is vast and divergent so that is a plus)

18th Birthday Celebration

By TiffanyTibb |

Wonderful dining experience! We will definitely be back. The wait staff was excellent, the food was never ending and beyond anything we could have imagined. The Fresh Bar was a meal on it's own. The staff made my daughter feel like a princess on a busy valentine's weekend! We will be back for sure. BRAVO Fogo de Chao!

Best Meat

By H.AlAli |

Usually chain restaurants don't excite me. But this one never fails to meat the expectations of every taste bud. Not Vegetarian or Vegan friendly, although the salad bar is not just fresh its beyond amazing, but with all the meat flowing round on showers it's pure torture. Friendly staff despite the huge guest flow. The Manager is very courteous. The decor is superb as well.

Celebrating

By Reggie H |

On 07/09/2021 Our server Lauren took pretty good care of us. The service started out kinda slow and I’m very particular about that but she definitely turned it around!! I understand that it was Saturday evening and it’s pretty hectic on that day. I thought this time going to be a bust but it wasn’t. Still a happy camper!

Excellent service and great food

By MikeandHeather97 |

Very busy but staff was excellent and food was perfect. Servers went out of their way for a large table.

Date night

By lori b |

Went to Fogo de Chao last month during prom season without reservation. Although it was super busy our wait wasn’t long and they have a sitting area where you can wait. The service was great but the buffet area with salads could have been better. Once you turn your coaster to green OH BOY!!! Here comes the meat!!! The beef was delicious and well seasoned. I personally didn’t care for the lamb because it was too gamey. Overall it was a great experience with fast service. Would go again and would definitely recommend. Prices are decent especially for the types and variety of meat you get.

Great dinner spot with friends

By LLITN |

Excellent meal as always. The wait stuff is a tad slow but the meal was superb. Quality of food has always been consistent! The lamb chop and picanha cut were our fave.

Not at the top of their game

By BermudaGolfer72 |

We choose this restaurant as our Christmas Eve family dinner. We have always looked at this as a special occasion type place due to cost as without alcohol it was over $80 per person. We all choose the multiple meat meal The salad bar has not maintained an extraordinary selection of choices and was just average The wait staff did a great job and my hat is off to their efforts Sadly we will exclude this from our list of special places as Atlanta has so many choices

A Must Eat !!!

By Lou S |

A perfect and surprisingly affordable delicious native Brazilian delight. Everything from the drinks to the the desert, to service and the Band, was an absorption of a Brazilian culinary delight. The waitresses Ivy and Irene were both attentive and swift in their delivery of a visiting family and friends get to together.

Amazing Food

By Adriene D |

This is not just a meal but an experience. The food is amazing and you better come hungry! They will keep bringing food as long as you tell them too.

Great visit this time

By Jamie D |

This was the best visit in years. The salad bar was good. The meats were great. The cuts of meat were top quality and cooked to order. The extras like the warmed Brie with honey and the roasted pineapple were great additions.

Best Fogo meal ever!

By Tugnuts33 |

We have been to this location many times, but this was the best ever! I tried every meat of the lunch experience and they exceeded my expectations! The pork and beef ribs were our favorites.

Terrible

By Trek00827518013 |

Went for my husband’s birthday we had reservation at 7pm and waited for 25 minutes before seated. Server never refilled our water and never came back to check on us. Had to get another server to refill water and give us check. Worse service ever.

Tasty Beef with Service Not As Good

By dudeman8 |

We enjoyed all beef offerings, which are perfect tasting. We ate so much and were satisfied. We all enjoyed potatoes and salads and vegetables galore. What I could not understand was the service by attractive young people, which was void of hospitality warmth. They were sure making themselves look so good, with our service a mere afterthought. My host, a local, brought a $1000 bottle of wine, which was handled without finesse. It was dumped into a decanter with the bottle taken away not empty. Yep.

Yes - ask for Tory as your server

By Dave V |

We had an excellent experience at Fogo de Chão on Piedmont in Atlanta. The food was incredible, especially the filet, which was honestly to die for. We’re visiting from Alaska, and this dinner ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Our server, Tory, was outstanding. He was kind, prompt, and truly attentive the entire meal. He made sure we were well taken care of and went out of his way to ensure we received the best cuts and perfect meat servings all night. If you’re dining here, ask for Tory. He made the experience exceptional. Highly recommend! Great place to celebrate!

"A night on the town"

By Journey54697972237 |

This location is spot on for a great fabulous night for couples as well as celebrating birthdays, like mine. I really enjoyed it I will be back. Great customer service all the way around.

Amazing evening from beginning to end...

By StegaRo |

We reserved the private dining room to celebrate our friends 50th / 51st birthday. It was an awesome experience from the moment of arrival...the private room is absolutely stunning and the overall dining experience was superb because of Winston. His recommendations were spot on especially for our passion fruit cocktail. Thank you for a spectacular evening. The attendees were over the moon as well as the guest of honor. I wish I could give you more than 5 stars. Again...thank you so much Winston for the outstanding customer service that you provided.

Just OK

By Harry |

this place was recommended to us, had the seafood tower to start for the table it was ok but we all didnt think the fish was as fresh as it should of been the Rib eye was good but I can honestly say I've had better considering the prices they charge, the wine list could of used some better choices

Awesome

By Queshon J |

My Aunt and I had a great time! The food was great and are waiter Monse was awesome. She was on point with everything and she made sure we were good and she just went over and beyond. We will be returning.

A hot mess

By Lilbit |

Waitress took beverage order and never came back….we were there 2hrs. 45 min later, after asking three servers for wine, we still didn’t have our order. Food was not quality of previous visits. Asked bartender for assistance and was told they couldn’t help. Repeatedly had to ask for bread, water, tea from busboy with mixed results-most of the time, our party of 6 was just ignored. Having been a server years ago, I will give a lot of leeway but this meal was unacceptable on many levels-food, wine, service and customer service. This place is too expensive to justify tolerating any of it Used to be a fan, but won’t be going back

Had to ASK for the premium meats after 20 minutes of cheap meats

By Jenna |

Went here on business last night. The bar area is way too small. There were like 8 seats. We sat in the enclosed patio, which we enjoyed. There is a salad bar, however, i did not indulge in order to save room for the meat. The meat was just okay. I would prefer my husbands steak he makes on the grill we buy from wal mart. My husband was highly annoyed he had to ASK for the premium meats (filet, ribeye, etc). Did you not think we would notice you’re pushing chicken, sausage and low end steak?? I did have 4 drinks that were all EXCELLENT. So you cant go wrong with their drinks. I would only return to this restaurant if i wasn’t paying for it myself.

Good food, poor service

By Tânia L |

We live in Austria, know Fogo de Chao from Brazil and wanted to use our visit to Atlanta to enjoy a good churrasco. Luckily we got the last free table at the bar and didn't have to wait standing for our reserved table in the restaurant. The quality of the food, as long as the meat was served, was very good. We politely asked the overwhelmed waitress several times to serve us Picanha or Fraldinha. If we waited longer, the last piece was served already over-grilled. We waited another 25 minutes for a Creme de Papaya. We only give it 4 points because the manager personally apologized to us for the inconvenience.

Meat Heaven

By ttbryan1 |

I have wanted to check out this place for the longest time and finally visited after my brother came into town and wanted to go. I made reservations a couple of days before for 5 people on a Friday night. Surprisingly, I was able to get a reservation. When we arrived, we were promptly seated and started with drinks. My brother and husband tried several of the specialty mixed drinks, which they seemed to love. I had some pinot noir to start, which was good. We all started with the salad and meat bar, which was plentiful and extremely tasty. But, you have to be careful and not overload since the meats are the main course. All of the meats were so delicious, especially the prime rib and beef tenderloin. We also had a side of the mashed potatoes, which were good. I ate so much meat, I thought I was going to explode. However, we also had dessert. We had the chocolate cake and cheesecake. Both were excellent. This was such a great experience with amazing food. This is a great place for parties of all ages and sizes.

Disappointing experience

By MARIE-LYNE V |

I went to the Atlanta, Buckhead restaurant for Thanksgiving with another guest. We were sat much later than my secured reservation time (granted, there was some nice warm drink to make the time past faster). 1 fork for 2 guests. I had to go chase the waiter to get the second one and again for a clean plate since one of them was dirty. He brought a large plate on the table instead of the small plate other guests had. The meat server came with blood leaking all over the mash potatoes and white tablecloth. and all he could say when I told him about the blood "How do you like your meat"? He wasn't listening and then dropped two pellets of well-cooked meat even though I had asked for medium rare. The waiter asked me if I wanted water, and I said without ice and brought the $8 bottle without checking if I wanted this type of water. He waiter never checked on us and every time we needed something, we had to chase him throughout the room to get his attention, but he had plenty of time to talk to his co-workers. A very disappointing experience.

A true culinary experience!

By Jackie |

Dining at Fogo is truly an unprecedented culinary experience. The food is so fresh that you can eat for hours and still feel incredible. The staff is not only so accommodating and attentive but you can truly feel how much they love their job and take pride in their work. (They even teach you Portuguese words throughout the experience!) I cannot recommend Fogo de Chao enough and I want to quickly mention that their Director of Sales, Benjamin Maddy, makes it so easy to plan an exceptional event. Fogo is our new go-to for all our dining and private event needs!

Thumbs up

By Perpetual Motion |

Not a great fan of chains but thought we would give it a try on Restaurant Week. Made reservation on line and our table was ready as requested. Nice interior and pleasantly loud. Very good service was supplied by multiple servers plus the “gauchos “. Great upscale salad bar with premier offerings like smoked salmon. Once your medallion is turned the meats start to flow. Quality beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage comes to your table at a steady stream. Nice comprehensive wine list and quality stemware. Overall experience was good and will return.

Excellent food and service

By BethLD |

I've eaten here many times - if you are a meat eater you will be in heaven--but even if not, you can have a wonderful meal from the salad bar, which has amazing variety. In case you don't know the concept, they keep bringing many different cuts of meat as long as your marker is displayed on green; when you need a break from new stuff and to sit and enjoy, just put your marker on the other side (red). Sides such as whipped potatoes come family style, and it's all-you-can-eat salad bar as well as endless meat. As I said in my review a few years ago, carnivores rejoice. But if you are trying to be healthier and limit your meat intake, this would be the place to splurge! Great cuts of meat, great spicing, tastes, etc. Lunch is more affordable than dinner, and you can often find coupons online.

Fabulous Saturday brunch

By Vikki R |

My friend and I had an amazing Saturday brunch. Saber who was assigned to our table really looked after us and our glasses were never empty. Thank you Saber!!! You’re the best!! The food was amazing and ambiance beautiful. Very good drink selection. Would definitely recommend this churrasco experience

Reservations not honored

By businesstraveler056 |

As mentioned in other reviews, they do not honor reservations. Expect to be told to wait at the bar for 30 minutes when you arrive, regardless of whether you made a reservation. This sets the tone for a pretty lousy experience.

Go for the Lamb!

By Nicki |

The prices are high, the loop to the table could be more often our potatoes were cold by the time they came by, but the lamb was the best entree!

You hit a home run

By Lifeisgood3 |

Food was fantastic and the service was just as good. Ray, our waiter at the Va. Beach, Va. location, was not only warm and friendly but professional and knowledgable about the menu. He made our experience pleasant, gave us suggestions, and made sure we would want to come back. Thank you Ray and the chefs. You hit a home run. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic night

By Chris |

Absolutely enjoyed our night here. The service was top class!! Our waiter was excellent. Throughly enjoyed all the food which came around constantly. The lamb, beef ribs and beef was so succulent and tender. The bar with all the cold food and vegetables was excellent too. The Red wine that we had too was excellent. We had such a good time I forgot photos

Always delicious and never disappointing!

By LCK965 |

I've been to this restaurant three times, most recently last night. The quality of the food is great and so delicious. The service is always good as well. The salad bar has a large selection...the ginger carrot soup was very tasty...the house special is my favorite of their meat selections. I recommend reservations as it can get very busy. I can't imagine ever being disappointed with this place!

OMG!!!!!! Awesome Place to eat.

By SissyaRichard |

Clean, Friendly and Delicious!!!! It is worth the money. You will be pleased when you leave this place.

Phenomenal, as always.

By Thats-me-at-3 |

I’ve been to several Fogo locations around the country and this one definitely is no exception to the great experiences I’ve had. The service was flawlessly attentive, the food plentiful and delicious, and the atmosphere relaxing and perfect for our group of five. We didn’t have a reservation, but we’re nonetheless greeted warmly and sat immediately. This location had free valet service which was a very nice touch. I highly recommend this or any fogo location. Just be careful, you’ll get hooked and want to keep going back!

A must when I visit Atlanta

By Steve Cardone |

I come to Atlanta on occasion on business, and this is my favorite restaurant. If you are into Brazilian steakhouses you’ll love this one. My favorite items are the cheese bread, their bottom sirloin, and a meat they call their house special. I was just not filling up to much on their salad bar, which is over the top. Make sure to get slices of cheese from their aged block of Parmesan.

Couples night out

By MrsBrewster |

There were 5 couples in our group and at least 4 couples really enjoyed everything. The meat selections were amazing! I, personally, didn’t really care for the salad bar as it had a lot of items that I don’t eat. But again, that’s just me. I’m not a pork eater, but everything else that was brought out, I had to have a piece or two. The lamb was probably the best, if I had to choose just one. The servers were great. I was definitely full and had eaten my money’s worth, when I finally got up from the table. Oh, I almost forgot about my desert. I had the lava cake with ice cream. It was delicious. My husband and I will be returning.

Best food and customer service ever

By kkushano |

My husband and I are great fans of Fogo de Chão. We have been customers since 2009. Our wedding celebration was at Fogo and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The food is amazing. Customer service is impeccable. The manager, Volmir, treats us like family and we feel very welcomed by the whole team.

Anniversary dinner.

By kkh |

A very kind waitress, Maggie by name, was so helpful in taking the time to make sure we (as first time customers) understood an felt comfortable to ask as many questions as we had. She made our experience exceptional. The food was delicious an my husband an I enjoyed a very special evening!

Best Rodizio en Atlanta

By Fred M |

For years Fogo is the best option, the salad bar is amazing and the grill has Chorizos homemade, don’t forget to try the grill pineapple...

Very good for food lovers

By Sarah Samir |

The place serves a very wide open salad bar with lots of choices ... you can eat what ever u want from all meat & chicken portions which they serve ... prices are fixed for salad bar & chicken & meat or u ca only pay for salad bar .

Birthday celebration

By Rachel G |

Family had the best experience celebrating a birthday. Brian and Lola were amazing with treating us like we were so special. Definitely coming for my birthday!!

A Sppecial Night

By Carrie M |

This is one of the most wonderful places I have ever eaten. The salad bar is out of this world!! You can have all the meat you want. It's pretty pricey and we only go here for special occasions, but it's certainly worth it!

Excellent food, but….

By romadaro |

Hadn’t been in years, but it hasn’t changed as far as the food is concerned. Food is still great, albeit overpriced, but the wait staff leaves something to be desired, particularly the water lady, beverage pourer or whatever you want to call her, who has absolutely no personality or warmth about her. The other thing I find somewhat deceptive is that they give the impression that you must buy water as if they don’t serve just plain tap water. It was only after I spent $7.50 on a bottle of Panini, which was gone in no time, and I refused to buy a second bottle, that the water lady finally brought out a pitcher of ice water and filled my glass. However, when I asked for “just ice water” when I placed my order, the waitress only offered “still or sparkling.” It wasn’t a big deal, but I just like people to be honest and straightforward and say is tap water OK or would you prefer bottled water?

Meat Lovers paradise

By Christian W |

Though a bit crowded due to its popularity, this place has very friendly staff that will help you and are knowledgeable about the food, great tasting food, and VERY good drinks. Be aware though that this is fine dining and will eat into your wallet a bit, but it is well worth it especially if your showing guests around the town.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alesia , I hope I spelt it right was fantastic. She was very patient through out , came in late and she was very nice cheers to whoever hired her

Food, service and experience amazing!

By W2736DFjudiths |

If your looking for a new experience Brazilian steak is the way to go. And go hungry!! Your feast is never ending including an incredible salad bar. It is pricy but well worth it.

Food was ok. Staff very nice.

By erica32paulk |

The food was just ok nothing stood out to me though. The staff was very nice as well. Although we had a reservation we still had to wait a while and there wasn't much of a seating area. Sadly it was our anniversary and I put that in our reservation notes but no one acknowledged it. I was hoping make my partner feel special on out night out.

Lynn and Lena ILY

By Elizabeth N |

We came here for a business dinner and Lynn and Lena made our experience so great. They were so sweet and caring and explained everything so well. I’ve managed for Ford Fry and they are integral parts of your team :)

Amazing lunch!

By JLopez66 |

Great food for the money, especially on Sunday for lunch. Eat as much as you like for under $40. Salad bar included. Never disappointed and great service from the staff. Will definitely come back. Now time for a nap. 😁

Excellent and Fun experience

By Kimy A |

The service is excellent. The food is amazing. You will enjoy their fine cuts of different meats. The salad bar is scrumptious.

Was Disappointed

By fireman331 |

I have been to Fogo many times in the past and in several different cities and they have all been excellent every time except this time. I took the family there for Thanksgiving Dinner. The food we got was great but the service was bad and very slow the Turkey, Dressing and other traditional foods were out the whole time we were there. and we felt very rushed to leave. I will go there again but not on a holiday.

Excellent Service and Food

By Maria A |

We were there Tuesday, Carlos our host was amazing he had our table ready with our special request. The food was delicious and they kept asking if you had a special request of meat so they could bring it to us. Carlos was amazing he had a very nice table waiting for us, and throughout our whole dining experience he was right there going up and beyond. My little nephew visiting from Texas loved it. Thank you Carlos!

Great experience

By Bruna R |

Amazing food and drinks.. Beautiful salad bar... Incredible meat selection. We left with happy bellies! Thanks Fogo! We can't wait to return!

can even fit and serve very large groups

By matwen2016 |

We had dinner here with a huge group and the staff was able serving us all very well. The food is tasty and they bring more frequently at your table for your selection.

Fabulous selection of delicious meats

By naturesownstudio |

The meats cooked to perfection just kept coming & they were all awesome. Turn your card from red to green and the swords of meat arrive. They keep coming until you are full. You start with a Brazilian salad bar. Then vegetables are delivered to your table. Then your choice of multiple meats. Yum!!! My husband ate dessert. He can't move. Funny. Coming back again & looking forward to it.

Birthday Brunch

By GKBrown |

I was here with about 12 people in April of 2019 celebrating 2 birthdays. It was AWESOME!!! This was my first time but will not be my last time.

I wish I could say more

By Juliana N |

We've been going to this Fogo de Chao since 2002. This used to be my kids favorite restaurant and they've been celebrating their birthday here every year. This year things have changed at Fogo. They aren't really focused on keeping their old clients as they are to increase their sales. The salad bar is really good but the frequency of the meat going around has decrease. It took them about 15 minutes for any meat to arrive at our table. The number of tables has doubled (at least) and it felt really cramped. I wish them the best but please don't forget your loyal clients.

Gluten-free Heaven in the ATL!

By promopro2 |

After visiting this place many times over many years, it occurred to me I'd not reviewed on this particular website. Fogo has always been one of the most gluten-free friendly places in the city, as most of the meats and hot sides are gf. Most of the salad bar items are as well. You need to ask for confirmation on the unsafe things since that list is shorter than the safe list. That is the opposite of most any other place in the ATL for gf dining. The meats have always been very good quality during our visits, and on request they have more "done" options for those of us who don't care for rarer temperature beef. The sides are consistently good as well. But let's face it, the bread is the icing on the gluten-free cake at Fogo. Not only is it rare to find edible gf bread when dining in the area, it's nearly impossible to find delicious bread. I'm tempted to throw the little cheesebread rolls in my purse before leaving! Sorry if this skews anyone's view of the deliciousness of the bread. They don't have a gluten version served at the tables...believe it or not...lol! If you must have gluten bread there, enjoy the not too tasty (from what I've heard) option on the salad bar ;)

Terrible visit!

By Christie I |

I used to really like this place. However, it has recently gone downhill. Today was a terrible visit. Service was horrible. The meats that came around were few and far between and when they did bring them over the way they sliced them slung juices everywhere. Hurriedly and uncaring. I go here about once a month and not sure I will go back. Certainly not worth it this time.

Amazing food as always

I was there a few weekends ago with my family, as always we had great good , best environment and good service. great place to eat. totally recommended.

Great Brazilian steak especially the lamb!

By Edward-A A |

Have a dinner with my colleagues in this Brazilian steakhouse. The food especially the lamb is great! There is also a salad bar with lots of options too. It worths coming and have a great big dinner!

Best food !

By Dawn Liveries |

Will give this place a million stars if I could. The service was above and beyond but don’t even get me started on the food ! Absolutely some of the best you will ever have !

Low quality meat. Gristle.

By Timothy P |

Went for lunch today with my wife. Had the full dinner. The garlic steak was mostly fat, also had the filet. It was nothing but gristle. Never had filet so bad before. We had more left on our plate than what we ate. The other problem is the bring the plate of potatoes right away and they are cool by the time you start eating the meat. Been there twice this year and doubt very much if we’ll go back. The quality of meat was not very good.

amazing brunch with Fugo de chao dubai

By Kwon J |

Saber and fawzy at Fugo de Chao made my brunch excellent! the service was always promply done with extra kindness, they were always there for me for any requesf even though the venue was quite busy, definitely wanna come back for them :) Food is amazing too in general

Really a Disappointed meal

By HDFLSTF1 |

The food wasn’t that great for the variety offered. The cold bar was a big let down. Too many other options in area to spend this kind of money for subpar food 6 people . We stopped again a couple of hours later and got a snack. No one thought that It was good.

You will leave stuffed!

By stephimr |

I won't be going back because I no longer eat meat but this is a meat lovers paradise. The meats are brought to your table essentially and its a big ole Buffett in the middle of other tasty treats. Not worth the money spent, but definitely worth trying one time. This is definitely a try once or once a year kind of restaurant. Inside is beautiful. The drinks were tasty, but sweet.

Beware of Valet Service

By GNK |

A fine dining experience turned ugly when it was discovered that my rolling computer bag and computer were stolen by the valet service. Restaurant would not stand behind the theft and only stated their valet service was managed by ExecutiveParkingATL.com Also beware of this valet service throughout the greater Atlanta area when valet parking

A NightClub Not A Restaurant

By 1stLadyWise |

We visited on 01/09/20121 As far as COVID goes, tables were not spaced far apart for social distancing. I made a reservation to ensure we would be guaranteed a table. We were seated right in front of the salad bar where EVERYONE ONE HAD TO PASS TO GET SALAD. (NIGHTMARE). A lady used her hand to get smoked cheese she dropped and licked her fingers, another lady entire shirt was in the artichokes, I told our server, that they should be replaced. people were still eating the same cheese when we left.. Guys were walking around in white tees with tennis shoes and their hats to the back, even while eating. Everyone knows your hat should be removed at the dinner table. I thought we were at a nightclub where there was topless dancers. I saw more half naked women in this restaurant than I've seen in the last year. I preferred not see buttocks while eating but I had no choice because of my seating . I felt I should've had better seating because I reserved in advance, I was wrong. I did'nt enjoy the food because the entire atmosphere ruined my taste. It was my 8 year anniversary and FOGO DE CHAO truly ruined it for me. For the prices Management definitely needs to make some changes regarding dress code. The Hostesses should do better seating guests who made reservations. I'm just distraught about my evening, I could just cry. My husband tried his best to make it special but this place ruined it for us.

Consistently wonderful!

By Mobile12673021101 |

Fogo Buckhead is always stellar! Anitta & Miguel provided friendly, prompt & professional service. We were seated quickly despite arriving before our scheduled reservation. We were greated by the hostess and given warm apple cider & mulled wine as a seasonal homage on a chilly afternoon. Our meal was fantastic from start to finish. Free, courteous valet is the icing on the cake

An exceptional rodizio

By The Pidge |

Rodizios certainly aren't for everyone but with capacities to enjoy a lot of red meat in one sitting, my wife and I usually find them to be of a value comparable to getting a filet at a top-notch steakhouse. Therefore we consider ourselves well-versed in this realm, and we both agreed Fogo de Chão did not disappoint. The staff was exceptional, the meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and we were even given a free dessert for our anniversary (because we asked if we were celebrating something special). We will definitely return, although we are also delighted to know there is now one much closer to where we live.

Great dinner experience

By Ruben J |

We had a great time, lots of wonderful food, from the food bar and the gauchos with the meat. Service by Janine was wonderful. She was so friendly and cheerful!

Very bad Brunch and no polite manager

By Nicola |

Brunch food was good. The problem is about the treatment of the manager. Very bad service to usual customers. The request to have the last order at 3:45. This is not the way to somebody that is paying a brunch of almost 500 aed. He also invited us to leave the place at 4:00PM because we were asking to have drinks until 4:00 Pm the time that We paid. I’m not coming anymore.

Horrible

By Cristy B |

My husband and I were in Atlanta today for the boat show and decided to have dinner at Fogo. At first dinner was fantastic. As we ended our meal, I asked for a small box to take the fat home to my puppy. One of the managers ask a young lady to box it for me. She did and brought the container back to me. I went to the restroom and as I was sitting back down at the table a nother server was talking to my husband, I asked what was going on and he explained to me the server was accusing us of taking food from the bar to add to the container of fat scraps. Which wasn't the case at all. He proceeded to argue with me and said he is just explaining what was brought to his attention. I opened the container and showed him it was fat scraps. Just to be told that we were stealing food from bar, as we just spent $200.00 this is ridiculous. It was scraps of fat. And a waitstaff was the one who boxed it up for me. So to be told that we were stealing food is outrageous!!! And to top it off the valet person broke my key fob to my car. So all in all the experience was NOT worth the money! We have been there to eat for several occasions and this WILL BE THE LAST TIME!!! Just a horrible experience all in all.

Good

By Krystal B |

Im not a big meat eater like my Fiance but it was good we had brunch. We took our daughter with us she was free. (Kids 6 & under). Brunch included market table, waffles & omelets cooked to order. I got the Brazilian lemonade which I did not like. It was with condensed milk and lime juice. The meats were juicy and tender with the expectation of one cut. He enjoyed his self. I may take him back for fathers day. Overall it was good.

Wow! Great Staff and Great Food

By Gwendolyn B |

The staff here is always amazing. We enjoy Sunday brunch or midday lunch. This one of our favorite places. Shout out to Walter, Emma, and Rachel. Oh and Ms. Elba always greets our family with a warm smile.

Birthday party

By Amber L |

Made reservations, which is a great idea, our party was 6 people. Got in quickly and were seated right away. I suggest using the free valet, the parking lot is difficult to navigate. Food was amazing and the servers were on top of it. The market table was amazing and actually my favorite part of the meal.

Fogo-Atlanta

By John D |

Great dinner at Fogo (Atlanta-Buckhead). Arrived without reservations and they worked us in quickly. Salad Bar is incredible with many fruits, vegetables, salads and cheeses. After the salads, there is constant offer of different cuts of meat. Steaks, chicken, pork and sausage. The house special picania (maybe misspelled here) is outstanding but all cuts are good. Service has been outstanding. GREAT EVENING!

Doordash Staple

By Global Trekking |

Fogo has a preset menu with excellent pricing on DoorDash that is ideal for business travel. The preset menu allows you to pick one or two meats with sides. My order exceeded expectations.

THIS IS DEFINATELY NOTTTTTTT THE FOGO THAT I'M USED TOO.

By pwalker715 |

Where do I start. This place is too expensive to treat you like second class . We were a party of 6. After we kept sitting there we realized that we should have told them we were 3 parties of 2 because that's what was catered too; PARTIES OF 2!!! We were told the the wait was an hour and a half which we was ok with. After our time frame was up we inquired about being seated. We were told that we were quoted an hour and a half to two hours. NO WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT!!!! So another 15 to 20 minutes was tacked on. So we checked on being seated once again. We were told we quoted you 2 hours to 2 hours and a half. NO WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT. WE WOULD HAVE NOT WAITED. SO YET AGAIN WE SAT BACK DOWN AND WAS ASKED TO WAIT 15 MINTUES AGAIN. Fifteen minutes came and we headed back to the attendants. This time our table was ready after that longggggggg wait. I didnot see a sign on the door stating we (FOGO) maybe out of some of your favorites items. With that said the waitor after asking who had been to FOGO went right into the spill of the restaurant 16 types of meats/cuts. WE ONLY WERE SERVED 3 MEATS. We asked over and over and over again but to no avail. If they had of said we don't have all the cut you are used to I would have been satisfied somewhat but they promoted 16 cuts soooooo that's what WE EXPECTED. There was only one Gaucho man serving in our area at a time. THIS IS NOT THE FOGO I KNOW. THE CONCEPT MUST HAVE CHANGED AND THEY FORGOT TO INFORM THEIR CUSTOMERS. COMPARED TO FOGO IN THE YEARS PAST THIS AIN'T CUTTIN IT. We bragged on FOGO to the rest of our party who had never been and they stated they want be back.

amazing time !!!!!

By Ashley w |

went in for brunch today with the fam. amazing experience and mimosas 😍 pork ribs and garlic steak were the best cuts.

Long time clients

By Steve K |

We have been customers at this Fogo location for many many years. Carlos has always been so kind. He is so attentive and always welcomes us like family. The staff is also very energetic and quick to bring whatever cuts of meat we request. Highly recommend Fogo to anyone wanting the best meat selection out there.

I keep coming back

By girigamba |

I've been to this restaurant at least 10 times. It is better than the namesake in Sao Paolo. The food is excellent, the servers are excellent. The only reason I give it less than 5 stars is: - super crowded seating- I feel like a sardine being squished in. (probably because I was in a party of 65) but the fact remains that they cram too many people into a limited space and it makes it hard to get from the table to the salad bar. Also makes it hard for the servers to get to you! - your pockets will be drained here

Wonderful Anniversary Celebration

By Vema A. |

I am so glad that Fogo de Chao is in Atlanta, a good distance from my home! My husband, Tommy and I decided to dine at this Buckhead location, taking advantage of a coupon that we had for our anniversary month. Boy oh boy, I thought I knew what food overload meant, but today took it to a whole new level 🐽🐽🐽. As soon as you walk in, the salad and sides bars stare you in the face. It was gorgeous with a vast array of fruits, veggies, cheeses, cold cuts, and more. There were also breads, candied bacon, potatoes au gratin, black beans, rice, and other hot items on the side. The place was flooded with servers, and everyone was as kind as could be. Each time we clean the plate, it was taken away in a fresh one was put in its place. Our glasses of ice water stayed full, and we were constantly asked if there was anything more we wanted or needed. Our personal server was named Sal. He had quite a bubbly personality and seemed to really take pride in his job. We really enjoyed every bit of it. He took the time out to help me pronounce the names of Brazilian drinks that he recommended to Tommy and I. We sounded out each syllable together until I got it just right! After our meal, we were treated with a slice of chocolate layer cake. I didn't think we could stuff it in, but we got it done...LOL! During a stop to the bathroom, before leaving, I noticed the bar area. They advertise a daily happy hour between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. which sparked my interest. I also took notice of the decor. It was gorgeous. Even the bathrooms were beautiful from top to bottom. However, I did not want people to think I was weird, snapping photographs throughout the restroom, so you'll just have to take my word for it.😃 if you have not been here, I'd recommend it for special occasions. It is a bit pricey. Without discount, our bill came to $106, including the price of our drinks. Without drinks, it was $90 [ tip automatically added in].

A truly great meat fest

Wonderful grilled meats if you have room after the large salad bar. The waiters keep serving you as long as you want. Best to pace yourself.

Brazilian cuisine in the city

By World Trotter Here and Beyond |

The concept of this restaurant is an open buffet - unlimited meat and salad. Eat until you drop for 40/pax. Selection of meats is alright - cooked to perfection, plus an added Brazilian traditional appetizers, mostly bananas. I love the free dessert for birthday celebrants - so sweet of them to give that to their guests. Service is excellent, as well as the ambience. This location is smaller compared to similar restaurants we’ve tried in the past. Drinks are everywhere - they have bars if you want to try their wines and mixed drinks. Price is okay for one time occasion with family and friends.

Pricey unpalatable.

By Elaine T |

For the price they charge and quality served I would consider it unmatched. Server should take a smaller loop so by the time I get my cut served it should be still hot. Lately the grilling seemed too salty and its killing my taste buds. The quality of grilling is really dry and not moist hence making it seemed like leftovers servings similar to chinese buffet.

good food

By ola |

good food but service was a bit slow. managers on ground wanting to make sure every guest was ok. it was my bday and the dessert on the house on the good too.

Wonderful experience

By Key T |

Fogo de Chão was amazing from start to finish! The service was friendly and attentive, the meats were perfectly cooked, and the Market Table was fresh and flavorful. Great atmosphere and overall an unforgettable dining experience — can’t wait to go back!

Has really come down in quality over the years. The prices were always high but the value was tremendous. Not so sure anymore. Service ok

Family

By Steve K |

We have been clients of this Fogo for many years. The service is always incredible. They treat us like family and the steak is absolutely delicious. If you would like to enjoy endless steak with a friendly staff I highly recommend this Fogo de Chao.

YUMMY

By Lone Wolf |

The meal I ate here was undoubtedly my best meal while visiting San Juan. Usually I do not care to visit salad bars. You just do not know how old the food might be. Well this was way more than a salad bar. It included Spanish meats and cheeses, roasted as well well as grilled fresh vegetables, olives, hummus plus everything you might hope to find on a salad bar. While you may be tempted to fill up here (YES. You can have just this for dinner), DON'T DO IT! The best part is yet to come. The waiters walk around the dining room ready to carve you pretty much any cut of meat you might want to eat. I tried every one! They were all among some of the most succulent and juiciest meats I've ever eaten. While in San Juan I made it a point to try as many restaurants' tres leches cake as possible. Fogo's was by far the best. I must warn you. This was probably the most expensive restaurant at which I ate. All I can say is you get what you for. Expensive or not, if you can afford to plop down $100 or more per person, EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT! You won't regret it.

Great food tons of meat

By gmilbin |

I can call it a luxury type buffet. Meat cooked to perfection and unlimited serving the salad bar with variety selection

Good food

By David R |

Nothing unique here...standard Brazilian steak house fare. Salad bar is a nice compliment, but do not fill up or you will miss out on some delicious cuts of meat.

Best steak ever!

By Mona K |

Best steak I’ve ever tasted! A lot of good and tasty greens to balance the plate (well 2 actually). Go if you are in town! Good wines as well, but cocktails..nah.

A little pricey

By Tony D |

Not cheap, but great meat. There's a veggie buffet but we didn't spend much time on it. The meat was fabulous and plentiful. We did the all you can eat, and they keep it coming. The wait staff would bring skewers of various meals and cut what you wanted. Had trouble keeping up with it. Great service.

Amazing service, great food.

Amazing service, great food. Recommend! Eder and Rodrigo were really nice to us :) Thanks for everything!

COMPLAINT REGARDING ALLEGED FOOD POISONING!

By Shufrounia C |

COMPLAINT REGARDING ALLEGED FOOD POISONING! February 3, 2026 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express serious concerns regarding my recent dining experience at Fogo's Restaurant, located at 3101 Piedmont Rd, Buckhead, Atlanta, GA. After celebrating my birthday at your establishment, I became violently ill with severe stomach pains, diarrhea, and overwhelming heat sensations throughout my body. In an attempt to alleviate the distress, I resorted to pouring cold water over myself. Additionally, I experienced an intense headache, persistent coughing, weakness, and pronounced soreness in my stomach. I had to take medication to alleviate the pain and discomfort. As of February 4, 2026, I continue to feel significantly unwell and overwhelmed by these symptoms. I strongly suspect that my Rack of Lamb may have contained a substance akin to poison. Initially, I noticed what appeared to be black pepper granules on my second round of lamb chops, but I now have serious doubts about their true nature. Given the alarming nature of this incident, I urge everyone to refrain from dining at your establishment until this matter is thoroughly investigated. Thank you for your immediate attention to this serious issue.

Date night on Sunday afternoon

By Greg G |

I love this chain. I prefer meat over everything else I could eat and this place caters to that exactly. They also have other things to eat so I can still bring my wife, although she loves the lamb. The price includes all you can eat everything. Be sure to come when your appetite is at the peak. This location is highly recommended!

Amazing good and great service.

By gsbg2564 |

Amazing food. Excellent service. Great cocktails. I gained about 15 pounds just eating dinner. No reservations, but it wasn’t a long wait at all. HIGHLY recommend.

Excellent

Outstanding service, food and atmosphere. If you are looking for a great place for a special occasion, this is your place.

Good Food

By Dream110127 |

The food was great, and the wait staff were very professional, but it was very noisy. The food was definitely overpriced. They could come down on their prices a little bit.

Was disappointed!

By ToursinMotion |

The salad bar has the absolute best variety and quality I’ve ever had. However, the meat selection was a good variety but very poor quality.

The best Brazilian steakhouse in US

By Jon S |

By far, this is the best Brazilian steak house you can visit. I have been to more than 60 different Brazilian steakhouses throughout the US and I can say, this is the ONE to visit. We have been visiting this location every week (yes every week) for nearly 13 years and although things have changed over the years, it is still an awesome experience. The food is cooked over charcoal and the flavor is worth the visit. Come dressed in your business casual attire and have a wonderful time. Thank you Fogo de Chao for all the years of great enjoyment. - Jon

Nothing Special

By Susan L |

We went last evening for my husband's birthday (which we mentioned when we booked the reservation and to the first server who appeared at our table). He chose the restaurant and was really looking forward to a fun evening, celebrating with some family who happened to be in town. I gave it two stars because for the most part the food was good. The service, if you could call it that, was abysmal. Our first server handed us one menu for a party of 5 and immediately asked for our drink order. Of course, everyone wanted to see what the drink specials were, so we asked her to give us a minute. She disappeared and never returned. Our next server, Elias, showed up about 10 minutes later and must have been brand new. He seemed very unsure of himself and had to go back to the bar twice to see if they could make a drink that one of us requested. The answer was no, so instead that person ordered a dirty martini, which when it finally arrived had no olives in it (so she went to the bar, got a pick and snagged her own olives from the salad bar). After that, we didn't see a server again until we finally asked a server at the next table over if she could help us. We needed water and we needed some meat because no one was coming to our table, despite having the cards turned to green. She was outstanding, keeping our waters filled and asking the carnivores in our group what meats they wanted. The meats then began showing up, much like our experiences have been with Texas de Brazil. I think her name was Sanita and she deserves all the credit for salvaging the evening...although apparently no one bothered to mention to her that it was my husband's birthday. Needless to say, we'll go back to the steakhouse that appreciates our business and made my husband feel special for his last birthday.

Poor, biased service

By DJK |

We had a party of nine, but we were far less often offered meats to choose than tables in other parts of the room. Servers passed us by even though multiple people had the sign on the green side, asking for service. It was so infrequent that I kept mine green for most of the time and often sat there with an empty plate. I was hungry enough to consider a second trip to the salad bar, just to have something to eat. One of the people at my table asked for salt, as there was no salt shaker on the table. What he was brought was six fast-food packets of salt. In looking over what is listed on the website for what is served, our party was never offered Filet Mignon, ribeye, nor anything wrapped in bacon. In short, the cheaper meats. We also did not match the demographic of most of the clientele, and perhaps the attention and meat selection we received reflected that.

Extremely Dissatisfied and disappointed

By Sheila J |

Food was too salty, water cost $7.50. It’s more like sampling the meat not full portions. Definitely a high priced experience for a little bit of food. My party of 17 will never go again. Very unhappy experience.

5 star service to 0 star service

By Carmine C |

5 star service to 0 star service. I ordered curbside to go 2-15-21 at the Atlanta -Piedmont Road Location, I drove 34 minutes to pickup my food, was told the food would be right out when I called upon arrival, however after smelling the overwhelming stench from the dumpster for 27 minutes ( I drive a large new BMW sedan yet was told to park out of the way in order for a tiny smart car to valet ) I finally received my food and drove 31 minutes back home just to receive a call saying they "forgot" to place my other meal in my bag when I was pulling into my driveway.... The manager "Michael" was nice however the simple "I apologize " and the refund / assurance of another meal just dosen't mitigate the loss of my time nor does it lessen the fact that I did not have any food to eat. Where can someone order food at 10:00 PM at night? I frequently visit the Dunwoody location, I would encourage people to visit that location verses the Atlanta one.

Great place

Gazlind our waitress made this dining experience unforgettable, always checking on us and so helpful.

Not Fogo de Chao Quality and Zero Covid Precaution Measures

By Global Gipsy |

Before we made a reservation for dinner on Xmas eve I called to ask about their COVID related restrictions and regulations in place. They told me tables were spaced out and the restaurant was not operating at partial capacity. We were shocked when we arrived for our dinner reservation. The place was PACKED FULL, we were told by the hostess that it would be at least a 20 minute wait and there was a long line of people inside and outside waiting for a table. In the dining area the tables were squeezed togehter and the restaurant had even added dining tables around the bar where people were eating while others were standing around waiting not wearing any masks. The bar area was packed full of people. We decided to order to go as we didn't want to take any risks of surely getting contaminated. We waiting around 45 minutes for our food to be ready, quickly went inside to pay and pick up our food. We've eaten at various Fogo de Chao restaurants around the country (NY, Miami, Chicago, San Diego, LA) so we are quite familiar with the food. This Fogo de Chao restaurant was a total disappointment. I'm not sure if it was because it was a pick up order but the beef was not cooked through at all and didn't have the juicy savory taste that we love from Fogo de Chao. $90 dinner down the drain! But by far the worst was seeing the total disregard for COVID precaution rules this restaurant displayed.

Family party

By Anna B |

Top of the line service. Very accommodating With large groups and last minute. Very good food, great salad table lots of choices. Top of the line steaks. Definitely a place you can’t miss.

Great experience

By Sami Khalil |

Amazing staff, so clean and tasty. The meat cooked to perfection. The bar has great options, not much for kids but over all enough to enjoy an experience. Kids under 7 eats for free. Price in more than I usually pay for the same level experience, location is not far from the areas hotels with value parking service.

terrible service

By Priscyla F |

I was with my friends on Friday the 22nd of February and we were poorly attended. Meats almost never burst at our table and when they arrived they were cold and burned. With horrible taste. I have been to another nearby Brazilian restaurant and the service was perfect. I really was disappointed because I had heard good things. I was very dissatisfied and intend not to return and not to indicate to anyone.

Omg the Wagyu Ribeye 6 stars if I could

By MFMOSSGLEN |

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! The Waygu Ribeye was the best steak I’ve ever had. It was so buttery and melted in my mouth. The service was amazing and we were able to be sat early for our 7pm reservation. The bar/side area was stocked with so many yummy options and the meats came every 4 minutes or so. There was no issue getting meats. We were able to choose from all the items on the menu and had an amazing meal! I would come here first next time im in Scottsdale again!

You Got To Go

By Al J |

This is one of the BEST restaurants that I have ever dinned at and I've eaten at restaurants all around the world. High-quality meats and a food station that is second to none. I want to go every week but I don't because I don't want it to get old. This is a place for your bucket list!!! Once you go you will add it again, smiles.

Do Not Go Here

By DevinProSea |

I haven't done a review in a while, but this experience was so terrible and disgusting that it pulled me out of "retirement." From the management to the wait staff to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, this establishment is hands-down one of the worst I've ever been to. I've visited several locations of this franchise across the country, and this one ranks at the very bottom. Right away, my family and I noticed something unsettling: despite many open tables, we were sat in a corner, and we noticed this same treatment given repeatedly to other guests who looked like us. Whether it was intentional discrimination or not, the difference in service and hospitality toward other tables compared to ours was impossible to ignore. This visit was supposed to be special--it was my birthday, and it was also my sister's and her child's very first time at one of these restaurants. Our expectations were high, but instead of being celebrated, we felt disregarded. They didn't acknowledge my birthday at all, and the overall service was insulting at best. The food was another disaster. Everything brought to our table was severely overcooked or burnt. Despite repeatedly asking for specific cuts, we were skipped over multiple times, and when they finally brought something, it was never what we asked for--and still overdone. To make matters worse, my sister--who had undergone a surgery that limits how much she can eat--attempted to present her medical card, which has no name or expiration date, as is standard. Instead of handling the situation with understanding and respect, the associate repeatedly hounded her for unnecessary information, even suggesting she call or email someone on the spot. The way they badgered her was degrading, embarrassing, and deeply disrespectful to my family. No one should ever be treated that way in a restaurant. Cleanliness was equally appalling. The restrooms were filthy, with urine all over the place, and the dining area itself felt unkempt and neglected. Finally, when I raised questions about the food, service, or bill, I overheard staff talking about us behind our backs to other employees. That level of unprofessionalism is beyond unacceptable. This was not just disappointing--it was insulting, unsanitary, and flat-out unacceptable. Please, do yourself a favor: do not come here. Don't think about it, don't give it a chance--just go somewhere else entirely. This location is a complete embarrassment to the franchise and not worth your time, money, or energy. Something I forgot to mention is that my sister had surgery that limits how much she can eat, and she presented her medical card to the associate. The card doesn't have a name or date on it, but instead of showing understanding, the associate relentlessly hounded my sister--demanding an email or that she call someone to verify it. She continuously spoke down to her and degraded my family in a way I wouldn't wish on anyone else.

Great food and service

By Traveling Underwirter |

Business dinner with two of my agents. We were seated right away and explained how the system works. Asked about a drinks order (while the server did recommend a house cocktail, no cocktail menu was shared. A little surprised about the $15 price tag per cocktail.) and asked if we would like an appetizer. Did not realize the appetizers were not included in the price (again, no menu to show the appetizers available or price per item). Food is very tasty. You need to come hungry because there is a LOT of FOOD! Liked being able to pay the check right at the table (and have the receipt emailed to me). Service was excellent; everyone is friendly and helpful.

Disappointing experience

By Rima S |

Very disappointed with the service. We were seated over 30 minutes past our reservation time. Server mixed up drink orders. We had to ask for water refills and more sides. Server never asked if we wanted more drinks. Different server brought bill, refilled water, checked on us, Disappointing for how much we spent.

This is our second visit to Fogo De Chão! This experience was even better than the first! The salad was delicious and the service was outstanding! We were always treated like royalty! I want to return soon and delve into the numerous meats!

New Favorite

By Kim L |

Perfectly grilled succulent shrimp! You taste the flavor just smelling the food, even before it’s presented. Salad Buffett was above standard, great variety. The star of this show however, was the meat! All of the meat. Cooked medium and beautifully seasoned. Lamb ,perfect color and flavor. Service was fantastic. Worth 20% tip at least. Price a little more than two other popular places but food and service was a grade and a half above.

Below Our Expectations

By TrueIndian |

We had to wait for more than one hour inspite of taking a reservation for dinner. The area around the bar was full of guests waiting for their table and social distancing was impossible during covid times. Finally we got the table and ordered the drinks. It took another hour for the drinks to arrive and we had almost finished our dinner by that time. We wanted to enjoy our drink with the meals but that was not to be. The place however was packed to capacity. The table starter service was quick. Chicken and chiken wrapped in bacon were very hard and difficult to chew. Pork And lamb chops were the best but service of lamb chops was very slow. I could only manage to get lamb chops twice inspite of requesting the wait staff multiple times. The Buffett menu was ok with a variety of soups, salads, fruits, and other things. Overall experience could have been better. My recommendation is to try weekdays or lunch time for better service and experience.

Great food and experience! Took my parents here for their first Brazilian steakhouse experience. They loved it and we left stuffed. The sides buffet had lots of option and of course plenty of different meats came to the table. A little on the pricey side but the experience is worth it.

amazing.

We were there Saturday May 22 Denise Jimenez the Sales Manager was amazing she had our event ready with our special request. The food was delicious, and they kept asking if you had a special request of meat so they could bring it to us. Denise she was amazing she had a very nice settings of tables waiting for us, and throughout our whole brunch experience she was right there going up and beyond. My guest visiting from California loved it. Thank you, Denise!

Didn’t Measure Up

Been to many Fogo De Chao restaurants because my family and I love the concept: All you can eat of delicious meat, poultry, and pork along with scrumptious salads and charcuterie. We know it’s not cheap, but you have a great experience - You get what you paid for. Not here in Buckhead. Worst experience by far. The Kale Salad, Zucchini, and Egg Plant looked great, didn’t taste so great. There were just a few cheeses, no pepperoni or salami. The candied bacon was very peppery. When it got time for the meat, poultry, and pork we had such anticipation. We wet thinking we’d be overrun by Goucho’s offering the various fare. That would be a no. Would get a few and then would go several minutes and…crickets, no one. Now the servers were very hospitable, they asked me what meats I wanted - several times. Each time I said “filet and ribeye, and …crickets - no one would show. When I got the filet and ribeye, they were exceptional. The pork was dry, the sirloin - stay away from the bottom - it was full of gristle. The Pichanha, on point. In the end, we left disappointed- It wasn’t what we expected. All Fogo’s are not the same. Here endeth the lesson.

Treated like Royality

By Maria H |

The service was phenomenal, the food not so much. The steak was tough. If it wasn't for that I would have given a 5 star review. However, considering the hefty price tag, I expected my entire meal to be spectacular. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, and this was a splurge for us. The staff was attentive and friendly. Management welcomed us at our seats and was very engaging and delightful. My husband enjoyed his spirits and creme brulé. The chocolate cake was delicious. Overall, it was fun and unique experience.

Meat!

Above average taste, but the focus here is more about quantity. Brazilian Steakhouse....bring an empty stomach! It was a fun visit!

Overrated!

By castleman1987 |

We went Sat 8/27/22 first time trying this place. So ill get right to it, Wasn't really talking about nothing. The meat wasn't seasoned good, kind of bland and im not being a Karen. The service was great, the food was ok at best. I believe its probably better restaurants in Atlanta for the price but never know until you try.

Customer Service Excellent

By spongejim |

The service received was exceptional. The cocktails and wine were good. Food on the whole was delicious with plenty of choice. Only 2 concerns for me value for money - it is on the expensive side although service was excellent, we were promised a cut of meat multiple times by multiple servers but alas it did not arrive, and we filled up on other cuts.

Sub par service

By debbie w |

After we were seated a server arrive quickly. No menus, just asked if we were all doing the "full experience" 3 of the 6 of us were not. Drink orders taken, wine menu only can be viewed on QR. We choose a half bottle of chardonnay and one person ordered a glass of some type of red, one person ordered a beer. Beer arrived quickly, but no water offered for table, we had to wait 20 minutes to get water, in the mean time the meat starts arriving while 5 of us had nothing to drink. Server arrived back to say the red wine was not offered by the glass(it stated it was on the menu) so another choice was made, still no sign of the chardonnay, then after 30 minutes server comes back with a bottle of some type of red wine, not a chardonnay, seems they don't offer the bottle we asked for in a half bottle, even though yet again wine menu stated such, so wine menu is apparently not correct! After the very long wait for drinks we got another server who worked hard to make up for the bad start. Overall food was ok, for the high price you still have to ask for everything, and have to serve yourself at the salad bar.

What's the point of a reservation

By Toddo96 |

What's the point of a reservation? Don't waste your time at this Fogo location. An absolute disaster. Been waiting an hour for a 7pm reservation for a table of 3. Multiple parties of 7, 10, 12 have been sat in front of us. If you command high prices, provide a high end experience. This is ridiculous.

Fogo de Chao, Piedmont

By Milan S |

Long time customers, but no longer. This restaurant have so bad service that I can,t take anymore. Quality of service is about 0. You must wait so long that on the end you are not hungry anymore. Food is much more less quality than before.Sad and disappointing. Not recommended.Period.

Salads galore good steaks

By sethi b |

The hostess made us choose from the mocktails and we tasted the caramelised bananas as also maize cubes.steaks were very good but the desserts were the icing of the cake with lemon cheese cake, chocolate cake and strawberry cake made it difficult to choose from . Ended up eating all 3 . dieting went for a six that day ha ha!

Unique Experience

By Damien C |

Had a dinner here with a large corporate gathering and Fogo really knows how to impress. Our party had a huge space just for us as well as a dedicated wine bar and capirina? bar too. The servers who took care of us were on top of everything and the ones making the drinks were really friendly. The meats just kept coming and everything was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend if you have any large or corporate gathering!

Not as used be

By sky |

I've been dining at Fogo De Chao 2-3 times a year for past 20 years. There has been lot of changes since. They got rid of quality They got rid of value They got rid of good service, restaurant was so crowded. I had to ask for meat every time, they no longer has variety of meats as used to be.

Dinner for me

By Rita H |

Went to the one in Bethesda MD. Lovely . The experience was really grand, with meat coming left and right. But then the unexpected, the grilled pineapple and mosserell drizzled in honey, yes delicious and belonged right there with the meat. Buffet ( salad) where mainly cold appetizers at best. Mashed potatoes kept arriving semi cold as well. But can't wait for my return.

Delicious food and great service.

By Rima S |

We enjoyed our dinner. Service was excellent - friendly and attentive servers. Hint- dont fill up on the buffet spread before trying the meats.

Meat lovers dream

Our large group of 20 met for dinner. Food and experience is great. Bar is currently mandating mask to be worn around the bar. This place is great for meat lovers, my favorite is the bacon wrapped chicken.

Best restaurant in Atlanta

By Amanda Ruffier |

Fogo de Chao Atlanta (Buckhead) is always my first option to either a casual lunch or a more formal dinner. The food is always amazing - especially the top-quality meat - and servers (and Brazilian manager Carlos) are very kind and efficient. I am very happy to say it is the best restaurant in Atlanta!

Great Food, Great Service and the Best Brazilian Steak house in Atlanta!

By Yvonne076 |

This restaurant has been a favorite of mine and my husband for many years. Service is always excellent from the hostesses, to the servers, the gauchos, and managers. Of course the food is also to die for. The market table always has a variety of fresh seasonal dishes and the meats are amazing! This location uses a charcoal grill which gives the meats an incredible flavor. Some other Brazilian restaurants I have been to in the past use infrared grills, and the flavor is just not the same. Some of my favorite cuts of meat are the bottom sirloin, the house special picanha, the fillet, the beef ribs and the grilled pork chop. Every bite is bursting with flavor. If I have room for dessert, my favorites are the strawberry cheesecake or the tres leches cake, but I have tried most of the desserts over the years and they are all great. Whether for a special occasion or just a night out, you can't find a better Brazilian steakhouse than this!

Phenomenal!

By sgl64 |

A friend and I went for an early on the whim dinner. The presentation of the restaurant was overwhelming, open layout but very cozy. The bread that was brought out with our water was outstanding (added butter and fig preserves) AND they were gluten free! The self serve buffet was full of lovely decadence. I was very impressed with the cheese selections. Once back at the table sides were presented to us-some of the best mashed potatoes I have had in a very long time. Then come the meat servers with different options of beef, lamb, chicken and sausage. My favorite was the ribeye steak followed by the lamb chops. A delightful experience.

Your not going to believe it

By DavenNiv |

13 of us our the party celebrating a friend's birthday. The food was great and service ok. I have been to Brazilian Steakhouses here in Atlanta and in Brazil. Our issue was with issues that occurred this evening. The #1 issue was there were two young ladies two tables over streaming their experience. They were loud and worse of all the had a VERY bright light they were using. It was blinding when it came our way. There was an older couple sitting next to them that were getting lite up. He was a veteran in a wheel chair and these two losers cared nothing about anyone. We asked the manager to have them shut down and he said "I don't know how to handle the situation" and did nothing. It was a nightmare. $100 per person and we had to deal with these knuckleheads. Icing on the cake was we asked if there were going to charge a gratuity due to size of party and waiter said no. Guess what they did. Final punch in the gut by this weak ass restaurant. They made us pay on one check yep slap in the face. 1400 bucks one check. There are 13 people that will never return. Hopefully you will go to Fogo Perimeter and not this crappy place. Stick a fork in me I am done.

Great Experience and Food

By bksld |

One of my favorite places to take my out of town guests because of the variety of meats and the extraordinary salad bar. I generally prefer to go for lunch because the price is much cheaper for the same basic meats available. I have also gone just to eat the salad bar because it also includes salmon, cold cuts and a host of vegetables to adorn the salad experience. The gaucho's are very friendly and the staff is there to answer any questions and help. The wine selection is also good.

Excellent Experience

By Candace C |

Excellent experience. I am new to that style of service. It was great. They gave you card with green on one side and red on the other. Green means bring me food and red, of course, means I have enough. It was interesting to see the men cook the food too. Highly recommended.

Great Service!

Our waiter was excellent and the food was delicious! The bacon wrapped filet was my favorite and we finished our meal with a slice of cheesecake with raspberry sauce.
