Chinese food with Disco 💃 music

By Trip748404 |

If you get there early when it opens you won’t be waiting like the slow people 😂 and the food you order comes quickly and often! Great flavors on each of the menu items 😊

Good food, little pricey.

The food was delicious. Bottom line, that's why we do it. But, it's also a huge line. I mean, that's also an indication that the food is good. But sometimes you just don't have three hours to spare. Also, pretty spendy for the chicken. But it was good!

Good food, nice servers, bad parking and warm temp inside

The food is good here, our waitress was super nice and very helpful. The atmosphere is ok, a little odd, but no big deal. The temp inside the restaurant was a little warm (June) as it’s a semi-open air place with no AC running. It wasn’t hot, just slightly uncomfortable when you first sit down. Overall though, good tasting food and a good dinner. The parking situation is rough as there’s only limited street parking nearby and tiny pay lot in back of the restaurant. No free parking options.

CUTEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN TOWN

By Andreas Bayu |

We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant and we put our name down! when they had last minute cancellation, they called us and it was very nice of them to call us back on a busy day! They only have IPA and wines so we had that! The food was so tasty, we tried kungpao chicken, shrimp lo mein and cucumber salad! All was good and tasty! 😋 The place is super cute with hanging plants throughout and hangin Chinese lanterns that sets the cozy atmosphere! VERDICT: I WILL COME BACK 🙂

Upscale Panda Express

Open Table reservations is only available Tues and Weds. All else would be walk ins. We got there at 4:30pm on a Saturday (they open at 3pm) and inside table would be an hour wait so we took the outside table. Sitting outside on the patio was not as cold as I thought. Two heaters per table. To me, Fortunately Son is like an upscale Panda Express. Still affordable. We got: -Dan Dan noodles: a bit spicy. Very good. Make sure you mix it up. -Beef fried rice: We chose beef and it was too tough and chewy. But the rice has so much flavor. -Orange chicken: Very crispy, it’s not quite like Panda but so much better than other places. -Honey walnut shrimp: So yummy -Hot chicken wings: least favorite, the tongue numbing is real I really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Food came out super fast and tasty. 80s and 90s hip hop was playing. They only serve beer and wine. Polite provisions is next door for drinks. The decor is very Asian and beautiful. Parking in this area sucks. All street parking.

Excellent Chinese American food and vibes

I wanted to take my friend here for Christmas as a gift. I know he loves Chinese food and fried rice. They are normally walk-in, but reservation-only on Christmas Day. I was lucky and managed to snag one last minute on OpenTable. This is a truly beautiful space that pays homage to Chinese American restaurants in history. The red lighting and disco funk music complete it as a retro Asian spot. The service was excellent and so was everything we ate although it was disappointing that they were out of noodles, egg rolls, chicken wings, and some other items I wanted to try including their sesame dessert. The Orange Chicken was phenomenal and we really loved the fried rice (good!), nothing was greasy but everything was just right in flavoring and seasonings. We also loved the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and the Honey Walnut Shrimp. The tofu was also enjoyable. I wish they had cocktails, but the beer I enjoyed from China was pretty good as well. I definitely will be back here. It’s one of my favorite spots now. Highly recommend!
