Far better places to go, food is average, freezing cold atmosphere and Luke warm wines. With such a good view you would have thought they would make it far bettter.

The service, meal and view was simply majestic. We had an early reservation, 6:00pm, which made the dinner experience even better because the Foundation was not busy which allowed our waiter to spoil us even more. After placing our order, he encouraged us to venture out on the balcony and take in the views which was amazing. The food was outstanding, service was outstanding and the atmosphere was outstanding.

So we are 50+ years old and got "invited" to check this place out after our Michael Jackson One show. Free admittance and one glass of champagne. We wanted to see the view, so we went. Well, at that time of night (around midnight?), it's not for us. Music pounding, people everywhere, the terrace with the view full of smokers. Definitely not our scene. I didn't see anything really unique there. They had bottle service, VIP areas and even a club within a club. Whatever - I hope you young folks enjoy!

It’s pretty complicated to get in here, but it’s worth it.. The views are beautiful and the place is tight.it gets crowded so get there early.

This reservation was confirmed by the restaurant on the day. Therefore it was a surprise that we were left for 30 mins after checking in, at which point we complained. We received 3 different excuses about the delay. There was no attempt during that period to deal with the issue. Having made a big fuss, we were eventually seated. This is not how to run a so called top class restaurant - very poor management skills. We did have some very nice food and wine and our server was great, but the evening was already spoilt. An eventual attempt at service recovery was made but way too late. We are very laid back people and rarely complain. Some better communication and the offer of a drink in the bar would have helped enormously. There is a vast choice in this city and I would recommend looking elsewhere, as life is too short to put up with this sort of behaviour. It is not that great a place that they can get away with this.

Lovely area very posh and great balcony views but poor service. In 30 mins no server or anyone offering us a menu or drinks so we just left. Horrible service for an upscale place

My friend and I received a complimentary drink ticket to come visit the Foundation Room after our Michael Jackson One Cirque du Soleil show. This place capped our evening off perfectly. Amazing show followed by the BEST view of the Las Vegas Strip! We didn’t eat here but read pretty good reviews

I love this club lounge atmosphere, good drinks, and great views of the strip while standing in a decent size patio area.

At the top of the Mandalay with great views out to the strip. Large bar area for drinks. Restaurant was good. Food nice and hot and service good

Access to The Foundation Room, is via private elevators near the main entrance of the Mandalay Bay. They are clearly identified, and have a small check in desk and roped area in front of them. The Room wasn't fully booked, but the doormen were checking everybody for bookings, so I'd recommend doing so. The Room has a lovely dark ambience, unique style and furnishings, and you really don't feel like you're in Vegas until you look out the window, or step out onto the large patio (refer to the attached photos). I ordered the small steak (US$50) and it was absolutely delicious. One of my mates ordered the larger steak (I think it was US$65) and he couldn't stop raving about it. Perfect steaks + perfect view = a great night out. Awesome for tourists, locals or anybody that wants to impress or celebrate a special occasion.

Five Stars for the service, excellent steaks, great martinis and the view is absolutley beautiful at night.

I went here for a work gathering and it was a perfect venue. The view is top notch, the service was unbeatable, and the atmosphere is eclectic. Great place to stop in while in Vegas.

Made a reservation for 2 a month ago for dinner next week. We heard great things and were really looking forward to dinner followed by a concert downstairs at HOB. Received a call last night (less than 1 week before the reservation) saying that our reservation was cancelled because they were having a private member event. They asked if we could do a different night but we can’t this trip. No further effort made. NOT COOL

Incredible food, excellent service , attention to detail especially in the quieter time between Christmas and New Year…we’ll go back for all of that but my goodness to music is awful, the covers they play are truly some of the worst examples of ‘music’ I’ve ever heard! Everything else 10/10…the staff are not pretentious, attentive without being fussy…top drawer staff, that match the food

A very nice evening before the Michael Jackson One show. The waitress staff could have been better, but we did have a group of 12. Good eats and drinks!

Maybe our expectations were too high. A group of us went for dinner. The atmosphere & view were exceptional which led us to believe the meal & service would be too. Couldn’t be more wrong. Meal took 2 hours because server rarely came to the table. Empty cocktail & water glasses through most of meal. Food was mostly average but for the cost it would be poor. Soggy brown lettuce in caesar salad. One Medium rare steak was more like rare. Other medium rare steak was overcooked. Rest of the food was just ok. One cocktail that brought us was completely wrong. When our bill came they quadruple charged us for an item. We were all just disappointed and wanted our server to come back so we could leave as soon as possible. We has no desire to go to the lounge after that and will not go back. Cancelled our Emeril’s reservation for this, what a mistake.

We frequent Michael's at the Southpoint and there is no comparison. The foundation room does not offer solid, mature waiters, tableside cooking, large portions, or good and tasty food. The menus, the empty drink glasses were NEVER cleared from the table, the caesar salad dressing tasted like fish dressing. My cauliflower and my husband's fois gras was excellent. My scallops were very good. My husband's lamb was non existent, so little, so burned. The WORST part was, because my husband has trouble walking and uses a cane I asked about the easiest way to get to the restaurant. I have it in writing that we should valet park at the elevator is right there. NO there is no valet at Mandalay Bay so we parked and walked the entire length of the resort. We would have ubered if we knew that.

Pre-booked as a mixed group, but women went slightly earlier, bodyguards were friendly and polite, and handed us a free drinks voucher which we could use after 10.However, it was a different case with the men, initially saying they couldn’t go in. Eventually allowed to join us after showing ID. The service from the waitress was atrocious, serving others before members of our party and then had the audacity to ask why we weren’t giving her tips as it was expected in America!! Yes, we know this but anywhere in the world manners and politeness come before anything! So you can keep your €18 vodka. Your not having anymore of our money!

great view of the strip. Tiny club, it's better when they open up the other room. Staff is friendly, older crowd. I'm a repeat customer, it's a nice place if you don't want to leave the hotel.

Have not been to this place in many years and you can tell the place has gone downhill. It was not crowded, and it was the slowest service I think I have ever had. Way overpriced. $55 for a 6-ounce filet mignon. The fish special was not that good either. The only thing that was pleasant was the view. Will not return. Rumor has it that this place is shutting down. I can see why.

This is a great place to dine. Very old world decor which gives it a beautiful cozy atmosphere. I had a garden salad and the pistachio crusted lamb loin and husband had chopped salad and short ribs. All were excellently prepared , presented, and delicious. We took our celebratory champagne to-the outside deck to look at the strip and the lights which was very nice. The deck has nice sofas and chairs on it if you want to have your cocktail outside. Very pleasant. Our total including tip was 300.00$. We also had some wine with dinner. Will return for sure.

Are you looking for a smaller more intimate lounge, with a DJ. This Ultra Lounge is located on the top floor of the Mandalay Bay with amazing views. It has only 8 bottle service tables and the best price point on The Strip. From $500 a bottle this is one of the cheapest venues to entertain and impress business contacts, family and friends. While bottle service may seem expensive it’s entertaining and can be split among 4-12 people. From the host and the servers, you are made to feel like you are special. The assigned security team are very nice and friendly, while focused. Open to the early hours, it’s a great place to end your night and begin the next day, before grabbing breakfast and falling into bed at 5am🤪

Walk out on the terrace and see the Las Vegas Strip from 63 stories up - looking north for a different view than you normally see. I live in Las Vegas and am used to Strip properties charging some pretty high prices for amenities - the Foundation room food is very good and it is relatively reasonable given the competition. All in all if your looking for a very special location for a special meal this seems to be a great choice. Pretty much a traditional steak house offering but excellent service (thanks again Sean!) and be sure to try the Cauliflower Tempura - you won’t think it’s cauliflower at all. I’m not a real wine connoisseur but two other guests who are felt the house selections were very good. A nice place to spend an evening

The Foundation Room located at the Mandalay Bay is one of my favorite places to enjoy the strip view from above. The view is absolutely beautiful at night with all the bright lights from almost every hotel on the strip.

Me and my partner went to the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay whilst on a pub crawl night and we was amazed at how amazing the views were from the bars outside patio. The views were unreal, you could see the whole strip lite up and you also overlook the airport so you see airplanes taking off. We had only spirits from the bar and they were quite pricey but we didn't mind cause the views were priceless. Would definitely recommend to visit the bar for a few drinks.

One of the cooler views you can have while enjoying dinner. Food prices were fairly high for the quality of the food. Nothing special about the food, but would come back for the views.

Went for pre-dinner drinks here. It was a bit chilly so we stayed inside but we went out for a few minutes to take in the view. The decor was really nice too.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at The Foundation Room. It was part of the Up Close and Personal VIP package for the Carlos Santana concert at House of Blues. We enjoyed a prix fixe menu that included the Crab Cake, the Filet and the Calvados Apple Bread Pudding. All components were wonderful, and the bread pudding was the best I think I've ever had. Will definitely revisit.

On arrival the had a great vibe with a bar to wait in which had the most spectacular views on the strip. The whole place was very beautifully done and were looking forward to great food. After reviewing the menu for 10 minutes deciding on our dishes we were told they were out of two of the main steak dishes due to over demand! The food arrived without the sides and one steak was under cooked and returned with the sides then arriving. Food was great when it was all there but services was a little less than perfect and it wasn’t even busy! Recommend the bar and views though. !!!

Beautiful views, lovely cocktails- I don’t even mind the price! But we won’t come back until House of Blues gets rid of its cashless policy! Please don’t tell me the manner in which I can spend my money, especially when I am giving it to you! It only benefits a greedy business, not the customers and definitely not the servers….

Not a fan of Restaurant Week, the opinion that a donation can be made to one’s favorite charity anonymously without suffering a plug and chug menu for the masses apparently uncommon in modern society, it was largely a result of longtime curiosity that led to dinner at The House of Blues Foundation Room on Saturday night. Famously known as the lone occupant of Mandalay Bay’s 63rd Floor, a Restaurant-slash-Nightclub that remains one of Sin City’s lone proponents of a dress-code demanding Business Casual or better, it is within the hotel lobby that guests will find elevators behind a velvet rope, the ascent fairly quick to a space designed to impress and staff clearly hired as much for their looks as abilities to seat and serve. One of eight such venues across America, the recent hiring of Chef Corey Miller from Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak at MGM promising upcoming menu changes per a middle-aged male waiter, it is after passing by statues of Buddha and other Deities that guests are seated in a room of polished wood with a balcony offering a panoramic view of Las Vegas Boulevard, a “guest-list” and/or cover charge apparently the only way to assure admission after dark on busier nights. Priced significantly higher than House of Blues Restaurant or recently introduced B-Side, Happy Hour in the spacious Bar offering some good deals Sunday through Thursday while the current Restaurant Week three-course offers over 25% off a collection of longtime signatures, it was with Strip-priced Cocktails deferred that a Bread Basket appeared featuring five options alongside three Dips or Spreads, the fact that some were still warm a nice touch though only the Ciabatta lightly speckled with Olives and Crisps spread with Red Pepper Hummus proved worth more than a single taste. Playing mid-tempo Pop overhead, the lack of Blues or even Rock telling as much about Foundation Room’s target audience as a menu loosely rooted in the South but otherwise nondescript American ‘Steakhouse,’ it was with “Salmon and a Salad with Dressing on the side” tourists seated on both sides that Foundation Room’s “Jumbo” Lump Crabcakes were presented, the adjective in reference not to portion but the chunks of sweet Crustacean that showed well without much binder beneath a fairly basic Apple and Fennel Salad. Decidedly curious about $40 Shrimp and Grits, “My Cousin Vinny” quotes about *Magic* Grits seemingly the only explanation for such a price, it was perhaps predictable that neither portion nor presentation outperformed what one gets at Yardbird for $28 or down South for $15, the fact that Shrimp were well cooked but largely overwhelmed by spices and salinity also worth noting. Excellent in terms of service, both the Waiter and Runners present without being obtrusive and always quick to clear plates or refill Water, it was after Chef Miller toured the room checking in on guests that Dessert was presented, a small ramekin with bubbling Berries at the base and Custard-soaked Cubes of Bread beneath melting Peanut Butter Ice Cream definitely the night’s highlight while “fresh baked” Cookies that arrived no more than five minutes after ordering were probably better described as “warmed-to-order,” the flavors just fine but texture medium-crisp from edge to center and none as noteworthy as the Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream that is sweet yet subtle and one of the better scoops in Sin City. TWO AND A HALF STARS: Undeniably a concept more about the scene than its cuisine The House of Blues Foundation Room offers an experience well-suited to tourists and something ‘fancy’ but accessible, though with so many great Restaurants at Mandalay Bay and Rivea offering a similar view at a similar pricepoint there seems little reason to book a table rather than just stopping in for Ice Cream or a Drink at the Bar.

Had a business breakfast and the view is very nice. The rooms are really cool. I do recommend this spot at the evening, surely the lights will be spectacular.

Nice atmosphere, very relaxing and classy. Took the elevators up to the top with Buddha greeting you as you walk into the room. Felt like VIP as memberships and had some great views of Vegas. I have also been to Ghostbar years ago (now the Apex Social Club) for the other side of Vegas views and i’d have to say, check out both if you can to get the best views from all angles of Vegas. It’s a very different feel being top of Palms and top of Mandalay Bay. Both have different type of decor which makes the vibe different for both places. This one appears to be more sophisticated for mature professionals. Both give the complete views of Vegas. Would highly recommend for breathtaking views.

Went here for a business dinner. Really great atmosphere. You need reservations well in advance. The private rooms are so great. The service was good and overall so was the food.

The room that we were in was too dark and the waitress was just a tad bit too ditsy. The drinks were excellent. The food was fresh and well prepared.

There is hardly dance floor. Hate that people don't dance just stand around and it makes it harder to dance even more in such a small dance floor. The olderly crowd seems to stay inside and 30 and younger outside in the patio area with a nice view to the Vegas Strip. The bartenders service is fast and friendly. Music is so, so

Great bar on the top of Mandalay Bay. The outside deck has stunning views over the strip. Service is very professional and friendly.

Amazing view of the strip and great ambiance! I loved this place it was a good experience. Drinks are pretty costly but it's Vegas... and it's worth the price. Take amazing pictures from the corner.

Originally came here just for drinks but ended up ordering food as well. The food was so good! As I said in the title add in the great view and service, easily one of my favorite spots on the strip!

We booked a VIP package to see Santana at the House of Blues. It included dinner at the Foundation Room. A table for four, at the venue, a complimentary bottle of bubbly or wine, and concert swag. It was too good to be true. The Foundation Room is on the 11th floor. There's an outdoor terrace with breathtaking views of the Vegas Strip. The restaurant was polished, the decor very nice and the ambiance was balanced. We ordered cocktails and took pictures on the terrace. The menu was well rounded, we ordered a Crab cake appetizer and Pan Roasted Chicken served with fingerling potatoes, Brussel sprouts. I never write negative reviews, but the Chicken entree fell short, simply because it was under seasoned, and the Brussel sprouts were not fully cooked. Very unfortunate and disappointing. Nonetheless, we didn't complain. Our desserts were very satisfying. We shared a Dark Chocolate cake with Chocolate buttercream and a raspberry sauce and a Calvados Apple Bread Pudding which was served with a Bourbon Vanilla gelato and a Pecan Caramel Sauce. Decadent, and well received. All up, it wasn't a total loss, we still had a good experience, and didn't deny our server a decent gratuity, which a lot of individuals do. Going forward, we would love to go back to The Foundation Room. Thanks Tripsters Chef Edwin Padilla Good Food...Good Vibes

This was our first time to this restaurant and we were VERY excited by the Foundation Room's website. The website shows killer views of the Strip and made the place look very upbeat and lively. Upon arrival you are greeted by (in my opinion) a VERY out-dated interior decor that is not in sync with the prices one will be paying for the food on the menu. Our waiter was average and one larger disappointment was that the amazing views shown on the website are actually really hard to see when you are seated down. You really don't see them at all..that was a shame...since that was one of the big reasons we chose to dine there in the first place. They have such a unique location being atop the Mondalay Bay. I hope they can find the time and money to do a fresh re-do of the interior so that it has a look, feel, and ambience on par with their website appearance and other restaurants in their price range.

Was looking for a special place fir a birthday dinner. The sea bass was very fishy. Chicken dried. Overpriced. I can get a better meal much cheaper. View is great.

We absolutely love starting our night out here. The music is wonderful and the bartenders are attentive. There is also a balcony overlooking the Vegas Strip - a view you cannot beat! It is very high up, so don't look down :)

Best meal and best view for our birthday dinner! Steaks were cooked very well, waiter kept apologizing for the wait, but we were so happy to sit and enjoy the view with our drinks. Patio and restaurant were just busy enough to not feel crowded. We would love to return!

VIP feel for sure. Take an elevator ride up and see an amazing view. Excellent food and great nightclub. If you have an opportunity check it out!!

Had dinner here our last night. Sat outside and watched the skyline light up and the air planes come in for landing. Food was excellent. Had wedge salad, steaks, cooked perfectly. And mushrooms and mac n cheese. Was soooo delicious. Service was impeccable. Definetly recommend!

We ended up in this roof top bar by accident and found it fantastic, it was happy hour and was real value for money, we sat outside on the balcony watching the sun go down, we ate from the happy hour menu which again was value for money and very tasty... Highly recommended!!! Happy started at 5pm!

We had a dinner for 50 on one of the rooms and it was fabulous. The food was spectacular ! The service amazing! Great bread pudding for dessert. The salads are great. Very good drinks. The decoration of this restaurant is gorgeous! The view from the terrace was just amazing!

If you want a first rate dining experience or want to impress someone and have a little extra money this is the place. Perfect service and splendid food and presentation. Located on the 63 floor the views are spectacular!

The views from the Foundation room are stunning. You have a great view of the strip as well as a great view of the mountains before it gets dark. Make sure you go outside on the outdoor seating area and either have a drink out there or hangout. Take the scenery and enjoy it. As for the dinner it was excellent. Had a wedge Salad which was really good. The Filet was cooked to perfection. Its on the pricey side but worth it IMO for the views and atmosphere.

I was very excited for this dinner and had my hopes up given all the excellent reviews, however this might have been the worst dinner we’ve ever had in Vegas. We should have realized our dinner was probably going to be sub-par when we got inside and the place was empty, but it slowly filled up the longer we were there. The kitchen did make accommodations for vegetarians which I always appreciate However, the food came out cold, the meat was burnt and over cooked, and the Mac-n-cheese I ordered for my 5 year old son had onions in it. The service was decent but could have been 20X better given how slow it was. We all left hungry and unsatisfied after paying a tab over $200. I will say the views are amazing and it was fun being up so high looking out over Vegas that way. The decor is dated, it needs to be updated and there is obviously no ‘celebrity’ chef cooking there which is a bummer given the cool location.

There is a fantastic balcony that looks out over the strip from this club - it's worth it purely for that. BUT the music was great, and the vibe was fun. So it is 100% worth going too! The bar staff were quick, we got drinks quickly. It wasn't too busy either so we could sit down ect, and dance in our own space. It isn't too big in there - so I'd imagine on busier nights it might be a little busy. But I would return.

When the elevator opens, you may think you went down to the basement of big city high rise. The decor is amazing and makes you feel like you time traveled to an upscale speak easy in the 60's. Fancy, Vegas priced drinks and great lounge area. The seats at the bar are lacking at the shelves cover the amazing view behind. But, step out on the veranda and enjoy the amazing view of the strip and the Vegas valley.

My stance is usually if you don’t have anything positive to say, say nothing but our experience at the Foundation Room on Saturday night has to be shared. We booked dinner for my husbands birthday and our anniversary. When we arrived we were told they were running ‘a bit behind’ so we had a drink on the terrace overlooking the strip (which was the only positive thing I have to say about the place). 50 minutes later, with no updates on what was happening, I went to find out about our table and was told the manager was making it a priority and it would be 5 minutes. 25 minutes later and still no table, no apology or communication from the staff so we told them we were leaving and still got no apology. On our way out the concierge asked if our visit had been good, so we explained what had happened and he took us back up to see a ‘manager’. Possibly the worst display of customer service I’ve ever seen in dealing with an unhappy customer, culminating in her accusing me of ‘yelling’ at her (which I wasn’t, although I was obviously unhappy). This experience completely spoilt our planned celebrations and has tainted what has otherwise been a fabulous trip with excellent service everywhere else we’ve been.

Delicious food. Lovely room. Friendly servers. Stellar views. What more could you ask? We will definitely be back on our next vacation to Las Vegas!

A lovely evening with friends who live here. A special birthday evening. Beautiful view from the patio. We had quiet seating in a private room- had to ask for music to be turned down tho. Food was amazing- I had the salmon- served hot and cooked perfectly. My Caesar salad was just ok. The chocolate cake was dry - no one wanted it. Disappointing. Great service.

Take the private elevator to this special restaurant on top of Mandalay Bay. Ideal for dates, special occasions or just a good meal overall. The views are spectacular here - especially if you take your drinks outside for stunning views of the marquee and Vegas Strip. Food was outstanding. I had the salmon which was fresh, flavorful and prepared well. The wedge salad was also outstanding and the bread basket was complimentary fresh and plentiful. Service was attentive and outstanding and the prices were fair. Great beverage selection as well.

This was our second visit and was on a Friday... what a let down!!! “You can’t stand there...” “you can’t stand there...” “you can’t block the door,” “you can’t stand in the corridor...” no cocktails, no seats, no room and no fun! Disappointing :(

We went to the Foundation Room celebrating a birthday. We ordered bottle service, had nice view right in middle of the main room. Hostess could have been a little more attentive, we had to pour a few drinks ourselves but other than that it was great. Refilled our mixing juices without asking. Security kept people from walking in front of us. Ushered us to the restrooms, really made you feel like a VIP.

“Enjoy your day but make sure you are at my place at 6pm; SURPRISE DATE NIGHT.” was the text I received last Friday. Super excited and not knowing what to expect our first of three stops was Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay. Let me just say how stunning this place is. After 2 years of living here & 7 years for my other half, we both enjoyed the delights of this stunning view & space. There was a wine event going on with live music, & the most spectacular view of the strip. What a hidden gem. Drink prices were good especially for the strip, there is a beautiful restaurant that is on the side of the same floor that also has the same spectacular views. This was the first stop so after 2 drinks off we went to the next stop.

Bad service, homophobic security. Kicked out someone in our group because he was twerking and than wouldn’t let us leave.

Yum! We came up to celebrate a friend's wedding anniversary and knew this is a great venue for special evenings. We started with drinks on the patio (what a view!) before moving into the dining room for a wonderful meal. My wife shared her NY strip with me while I enjoyed the salmon. We didn't leave a bite wasted. Server was attentive and friendly.

I received free admission for one night so I checked it out. It reminds me of a vintage speakeasy from the decor. Very friendly bar staff, good cocktails and excellent food. The somewhat small outdoor patio offers a great view from the 63rd floor.

My wife and I were there last week, for her birthday. We were searched like everyone else, paid our money and got some drinks and went to the patio to smoke a cigarette. Some people were passing around a vape pen. my wife and I both partook. A man walked up shined a flashlight in my face and said "I need to see in her purse" no please. asked "why" he said "you have a vape pen" I was sure we did not, because we did not come with one....but he was right my wife had the one passing around in her purse ( we will disregard my wife's apparent kleptomania for now. I handed it over to him. He then saw something else in my wife's purse and said "i am gonna need that too" I said "no" you are not the police, you have no warrant and my wife's purse is not a buffet for you to select items you want to take from her. The man shines the flashlight in my face again, right in the eyes, and said "you just made this infinitely harder on your self." I said, "listen we are happy to just leave" then man said "no, I need your ID's now". I asked if he was holding us in the bar, he said no, but demanded the ID's which he photographed. he showed us to the elevator and then said "dont let the elevator hit your ass on the way down" wow. Someone from the house of blues came up to us afterwards and did try to get us to go back. No way. even if you paid me, I am never going back.

Yes!!! Absolutely delicious!!!! Don’t be intimidated by the attire standards or the velvet rope at the door. This place is worth it and much less intimidating once you’re past the express elevator. The server David was one of the best! He was attentive and made the experience even better. What a culinary delight! The filet was seasoned to perfection and so mouth-watering. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mac n Cheese. If only my stomach could fit it all in. Loved the view, ambiance, and more! Do it, you won’t regret it at all.

Glad we walked out on the patio, amazing views looking back on the strip. The place was at capacity so probably unfair to compare to other nights. Very classy.

We walked here after watching Carrot Top at the Luxor. It has a great little outdoor patio with a view. We definitely came before it got super crowded (around 10:30pm). Drinks and service were pricy, but fantastic. When we were leaving a bit after midnight, there was a line to get in wrapped around the hotel.

Great ambiance, delicious food, knowledgeable waitstaff. Incredible view! The selection of food and desserts was perfect. Would definitely recommend this test stay to others. Will definitely go back!

My wife and I were staying at Delano and made a request to be added to the guest list for drinks before going out to dinner to celebrate of anniversary. We arrived at Foundation Room, on a Thursday night at 7:30. When we arrived, the bar area was not very busy. There was no one at the host station. There was a group of wait staff congragating in the corner socializing with a bartender. Are taking a brief look around we sat down on a couch and began to look at re drink menu. I would estimate that there was less then 30 people in the bar. We waited for about 10 minutes and not a single person cane over to offer to take our drink order. I then went to the bar and waited another 5 minutes to still be ignored by the bartender, who was more interested in socializing with the waitstaff then taking order. At this point, my wife and I just decided to step out on the patio to enjoy the sights. After that we came back in and sat down for another ten minutes or so to kill time before our dinner reservation. In all, we waited over 30 minutes and were never approached to ask if we wanted to order a drink. Beautiful views, but the management and service of this place is terrible.

My husband and I had dinner at the Foundation Room last week for our 10th anniversary and we wanted to do something special, and boy did we pick the right restaurant. From the beautiful views to the 5 star service everything was perfect. A huge shout-out to Leah, our server, she took such exceptional care of us that evening. Another huge thank you to Charo, the General Manager. The care you took to ensure we had a good evening will not be forgotten. The food was impeccable, the service was on point and the views were amazing. We will absolutely be back!! Also, take the time to enjoy a drink in the bar as well, excellent drinks and a very fun atmosphere.

Loved the Chilean Sea Bass..... it was incredible and well prepared. Large portion so we split that, but each should order a salad if you want a salad. We also ordered an appetizer for a wonderful meal. Very nice service that was prompt. You can sit out on the deck before and after your meal to enjoy the night lights.

A very enjoyable fine dining wedding anniversary meal. Our lovely welcoming and attentive waitress Morgan was superb. The steaks we chose were perfectly cooked and complemented our stunning Indian Wells merlot. Excellent wine list Decided to skip the starter so we had room for a dessert! Completed the evening in the bar next door with the wonderful view of the strip at night in its splendour.

The drinks were ok but very expensive. I know you pay for what you get so let go to what I got. THE VIEW. Holy moly Batman. Best view of the city bar none. I damn well recommend it.

We joined our friends on their 20th anniversary celebration in Las Vegas. They set up a "special" dinner at the top of Mandalay Bay hotel before hand. We knew it was a nice restaurant and we brought nice clothes for the dinner (but in the e-mails setting up the reservations there was no mention of a "strict dress code".) We arrived at the elevator entrance early and the hostess regretted to inform us that "men could not wear shorts" in the restaurant. My friend and I had on very nice clothes (Tommy Bahama silk shirts, shorts with creases in them), but they would not let us up to the restaurant. It's summer in Vegas; I didn't even bring a pair of long pants. So, I had to buy a pair of pants: $75 at a clothing store in the hotel (my friend had some jeans upstairs). It was their special night; I wasn't going to spoil the evening. With our shorts replaced by proper trousers, we were invited up to the restaurant (but not before noting that some folks got to go up wearing jeans and T-shirts). Upstairs the smell of patchouli incense barely hid the sour tangy smell of "old restaurant". When we got into the dining room it was almost empty. So we were going to be turned away for wearing nice shorts to an almost empty restaurant where no one would have been offended by two well-dress men wearing classy shorts. The restaurant stayed almost completely empty throughout our entire meal. There might have been a dozen people besides our foursome in the whole dining room. Interesting business model... As one would expect, the prices were as high as the 63rd floor view. I don't mind paying for a fine dining experience: but it better be an incredible experience! We picked a nice Zinfandel and bottle of champagne from the wine list and ordered our selections. We were told that if we ordered a steak from the "ala carte" menu we could share side dishes without incurring a "sharing charge". (Note to waiters and waitresses: the only way that the management knows that anyone "shares" anything at the table is if YOU tell them. I take any "sharing charges" directly out of the tip -- not just as a percentage I reduce the tip by the full amount: $7 sharing charge, $7 out of the tip!). We ordered appetizers (to share): Yellow fin tuna on crostini and a shrimp cocktail. The tuna was good but not spectacular. The shrimp cocktail was nothing special just like you might get anywhere (Appleby's?). But here's where they ruined it. The put the cocktail sauce on top of the ice so that by the time you got some on the first three of six shrimp, the rest had "melted" down into the cup. What competent chef would think that was a good idea: cocktail sauce watered down by ice? The last three shrimp didn't get much sauce, the last one got none. I guess like much in Las Vegas it's all about how things look and not how they actually taste. When my steak came it was a complete disappointment. It was very small and very dry. There was a tiny roasted pepper next to it (about the size of a small strawberry) and a small "cooked to death" head of garlic. I realize I ordered the 6 oz steak (I'm getting older and trying to reduce my calorie intake. But also because there is no place to store "leftovers" in our room. There is a fridge in the room with a sign on it that says there will be a $50.00 charge if guest store anything in the fridge. What the...? I'm getting really turned off by Mandalay Bay and Las Vegas by now!), but the steak should be thick and juicy. This steak was no thicker than 1.25 inches. Did I mention how dry it was?? I wanted to taste their "mac and cheese" (My wife and I hold an annual mac-n-cheese party. So, I always order mac and cheese if it's on the menu). I also got a side order of asparagus. The asparagus was over cooked and for some reason the kitchen didn't snap off the hard fibrous ends. The mac and cheese was terrible: the shell noodles were over cooked and the "cheese" sauce was flavorless (and it was warm, not hot). I opted for the $5 upcharge for bacon for which I got about 1/4 piece of bacon crumbled on top. It would be understandable if the restaurant was packed and the kitchen was overwhelmed and dishes came out this poorly prepared but in a nearly empty restaurant these "Cooking 101 failures" was completely unacceptable. The one bright spot was the small piece of cake that they brought to the table to celebrate our friend's anniversary. It was good but not great: I could taste raw flour in the cake. They allowed us to "share" without charging us (but they did charge us for the dessert: it would have been a nice touch to get a small gesture like this "on the house" -- especially after the B.S. at the entrance because we were wearing shorts). For this experience we were charged $650.00. Add the $100 tip and the $75 for pants and you get what is becoming a typical Las Vegas experience: high on prices, low on value, a general let down. I don't mind paying a lot for spectacular meal on a special occasion. But this restaurant is not the place to receive that experience. We would have had a better time at the local Olive Garden and saved $700.

Booked this well in advance from the UK for our wedding meal as a couple (although double checked while we were staying at W Hotel in case of any issues). Chose it as we were able to book for 10:30 pm after our sunset wedding 😃 We were a little unsure initially as there was quite strict security at the bottom of the elevator however this was due to the transition to nighttime in the lounge area (which we popped out onto at the end for a photo). The restaurant itself was fabulous. we were the only diners at that time however weren’t rushed or made to feel a nuisance. Quite the opposite, the lead waiter was fantastic as were his assistants. The hostess arranged 2 complimentary glasses of champagne as we had just got married and we were offered a complimentary dessert (prior to ordering a dessert rather than other restaurants where they wait for you to order another one first!) The food was fantastic and better than the Eiffel Tower restaurant which we dined in at the beginning of our trip. The restaurant also isn’t extortionately priced. We just signed it to our room and left a cash tip. We would definitely recommend and would return if in Vegas again.

This is not your typical Vegas nightclub, the Foundation Room sits on the 63rd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel. the space is laid out with lots of small rooms, with lots of Indian and South Asian art adorning the walls. Most of the space is taken up by Bottle Service areas, but that's to be expected in this era of monetizing all that they can, but there's still enough room to dance. There are two rooms with 2 different DJs, and you are able to access the VERY small viewing deck from both. The deck has breathtaking views of the strip. Getting a drink is easy and quick if you can fight your way through the crowd to the bar, but I didn't see any wait staff except those services the Bottle Service group. If you can make your way onto the guest list, give this place a try.

We went to the Foundation Room twice on our recent trip to LV. The first time was on a Thursday; it was really good, not too busy and seating was available. Music was good too, R&B. View was amazing!!! Unfortunately they stopped serving cocktails at 9:30.

We had the shrimp and grits which were excellent and the salmon which was bland and very over cooked so that is why it only gets a 3. Views are amazing and the service was just OK nothing special very little personality. We stayed later for the night club and it also was nothing special. We were looking at getting a membership but i we are going will pass. Too bad we were really looking forward to the visit, when you pay this much you should have a excellent experience

I came up here for drinks on a Sunday night as it was included with my stay at Delano. The bartenders were bogged down with the bar packed but I was able to get the attention of one quickly. The music inside was LOUD, obnoxiously so, so I took my drink outside and the view was just great.

Enjoyed great food and great view. Service was excellent. Scallops was very good and Truffle Mac and Cheese was the best.

We came on a Sunday night with a tour bus group. The views at the top are incredible and they have heaters outside in the cool weather. Drink prices are fair compared to other clubs. Overall the vibe is much more relaxed but the ambiance is great and I'd highly recommend a visit.

Great atmosphere, great food...bad service. We went for dinner for my 50th birthday. There were 8 in our party and had a reservation. We arrived on time but had to wait 30-40min for them to arrange a larger table. That wasn't too bad since it gave us time to enjoy the amazing view from the outdoor patio. Once seated it took our waitress 15min to take our drink orders, at that time we ask if she could adjust the temperature since it was freezing cold in the room and we all would like to take our jackets off, she said she couldn't adjust and that's just how it is that room. Another15min pass and she finally took our orders. 40min later our food started to arrive, in stages. Half our group got their entrees but no sides ,the other half got nothing. The 10min later they got their entrée and we got our sides but no sides for the other half. Since the room was freezing our steaks were cold as we waited for the sides. We all decided to start eating and not wait for the other sides to arrive. Since the waitress never ask how our steaks were cook we realized 3 of the 8 were cooked incorrectly once we started cutting into them. Half the group just decided to continue eating their cold steaks while the others wait on re-fired steaks. Also one side was still missing and it didnt arrive until after we completed our entrees. During The whole meal our waitress never ask if we wanted more drinks. Now the food was amazing. If you like spice I highly recommend the Tabasco rubbed Wagu skirt and the Hasselbeck potatoes are amazing. They did remove the late side and the cream Brule from the bill. Our reservations were at 9pm and we didn't leave the restaurant until 1145pm. We may try the foundation room again because the atmosphere and food was amazing. We are hoping the bad service was just fluke or newer wait staff since the service at a restaurant like this should be top notch.

My experience was short lived at this place due to a security guard that didn't make me feel welcome. I was smiling at a dancer 12 to 15 feet away and he was upset . He has never warned me about anything and I know I didn't break any policies . I feel he was jealous and wanted me out of there. I am never going back there again.

The dining experience was amazing. We had the grass fed steak and the chicken 🤤 everything came out perfectly and the taste was divine. The bread pudding for desert was fire 🔥 and the pecan sauce on top 👌🏻 the view was nice of the strip on the balcony. We were able to go to the club without paying the cover if we wanted since the lounge area turned into a club at a certain time

The view really is the best thing about this place. We had dinner here and it was probably the most mediocre meal of our entire trip while also being the most expensive! Skip the food and just come for a drink and the view.

We went there for cocktails, which also has a nice variety of appetizers. The view was excellent. The ambiance inside was great. The prices were high, but not outrageous for Vegas. The staff was prompt and friendly.

I am still talking about how much fun we had at The Foundation Room! Our concierge at our hotel got us in contact with the Senior Host at the Foundation Room (Luis). He was extremely helpful as se had a group of 8 people and were celebrating a milestone birthday. We originally planned on coming Saturday night for a drink or two but Luis had reached out and we decided to make Foundation Room our Friday night out. Our initial thought was to check it out to see if we liked the atmosphere and I'm so glad we did. Luis greeted us and we were all whisked away up the elevator. He personally walked us through as we were curious about getting bottle service. He took us to a VIP table outside and we were sold! We ordered two bottles (and a third later) and the night began. The bottles came complete with belly dancers, confetti, sparklers and VIP treatment. It was so perfect for our friend's birthday. None of us (including the guys) sat down the entire night because the music was a perfect mix of new, old, pop, hip hop, etc. Our server was amazing and always came back to check on us and see if we needed anything. Totally worth getting bottle service to have your own section with seating especially with a group! Thank you for making our night out amazing!!! I will always come back to the Foundation Room when I am in Vegas!!!

Great view of the strip from the outside balcony. Quick and friendly service even on an incredibly busy night. Great tunes!

Made Reservations earlier in the day---then went to The Foundation Room (At the top of Mandalay Bay) with a large group of, Eight people to have dinner. It's a pretty fancy Steak / Seafood place inside the Penthouse Top Floor Restaurant; mood lighting, Linen Table cloth and napkins, wine glasses, "King Arthur" chairs, etc. Had no idea that there were window views and even a large, open air, balcony view of The Vegas Strip. AMAZING at night ! Food and Wait-Staff Service were absolutely Top-Notch. So was the Menu $$$$$! It's worth it though. Wonderful experience and a great place to take a date.

Our favorite way to end a night out on the strip. The view is amazing, especially with a drink in hand!

Nice and funky ambiance ! A little smelly the inside lounge but it is great if you are at the balcony lounge with an amazing view and good cocktails !

The staff was wonderful and the view, fabulous. I enjoyed crab cakes with a wonderful pinot noir. "Birthday cake" was fun and yummy. Keep up the good work. I enjoyed the décor and low key luxury. No one was in a hurry, a plus for fine dining.

We made a last minute decision to go to the Foundation Room before we went to see a show in Mandalay Bay. It was a week night and it was very quite when we went up so finding a seat, moving around and getting a drink was very easy. The vibe was good and so was the music, but the best bit about this place is the view outside. It's AMAZING! You can see the whole strip all lit up and it's definitely a wow moment. Although it does get pretty busy out here as the night goes on. The drinks menu was good, we ordered a cocktail which was I guess reasonably priced for the venue, although very small. I'm pretty sure 3/4 of the cocktail was missing, maybe it evaporated in the Las Vegas warmth? Who knows. But it would have been nice to have a fuller glass for the price we paid. This aside, we had a good time here. I was a little worried about attire for this place as had read a few different reviews about people and their clothing. I went for jeans and a 'nice' top and this was fine, there were people in super casual clothes so I think on a weeknight if you plan to go earlier you can wear whatever. I would feel out of place the later it got though so would dress a little more formally.

Went as part pf a bar crawl and the place is amazing. Outdoor balcony with views right down the strip. DJ was spinning good tunes as well. $5 house vodkas on Sunday night was a pretty good bonus also!

My second time at this place and I absolutely love it! The food is amazing, the view is Unbelievable!!! The atmosphere is chic and classy. Be aware that they do have a dress code to keep it classy and the outdoor patio will get packed on busy nights since it is such an amazing view.

Went to Foundation room to celebrate my birthday. Just me and my wife. Food is good- a bit pricey, but really good. Large portions. Trick is that you sit inside, no window seat. You can go outside to veranda and see beautiful night city, but then you come back inside. Its not the same as having a direct view. It is a good place, don't get me wrong, but don't think it is in the "great" category.

My wife and I came here after dinner at the Four Seasons. We called to get on the guest list and came in without any delay. Beautiful bar area and of course a fabulous view from the terrace looking North up the strip. Without a doubt the best view bar there is. I’m sure it turns clubby at weekends but we went midweek.

Located on the top floor of Mandalay Bay Hotel - Las Vegas Strip. There is a special elevator to take you to the top level and you need to have a reservation to get to the guarded elevator. We went here for a special invite dinner of 10 people from the "Gaming Expo" that, turned out to be a disaster! Everyone at the table was 55+ years old. There were two top executives from one of the top gaming manufacturers in Las Vegas that hosted the dinner. Reservation: 6:00 pm on October 16, 2019. We were the first ones seated in the room and it took about 30 min to get a bread basket with butter delivered. It took an additional 20 min to get additional butter delivered to the table. Wine and drinks were ordered and it took another 15 min to have the drinks and bottles of wine delivered. We were never asked if we wanted more wine. 7:30 pm - After ordering our meals and salads, it took another 20 min. before the salads were delivered. The portions were very small and the price paid was nothing fair. Two leaves of Romaine Lettuce on the Cesar Salad ($15). I ordered the "aged" 18oz Rib-eye bone in steak (Med-Rare) for $67. It did not look like 18oz when delivered (maybe 10oz). The steak must have come from the super.market. Not a tender steak at all send it had a large amount of fat. My girlfriend ordered the Lamb Loin (medium-pink). It came rare on the inside and I told them to do it totally over again when we sent it back. They just reheated what we sent back and did not brink a new Lamb Loin. The taste was still bad. They told us the Sides were enough for 2 or more people - NOT! They were individual serving sizes. The baked potato I ordered for a side was not served as a Baked Potato with topping. The potato was small and sliced across several times in half inch slices, then topped with the cheese and bacon dressing and served in a small skillet. Again, it took almost 30 min to get served or entree and one person didn't get his steak until we were all done eating our meals. 8:00 pm - They gave the table of 10 - 4 complementary deserts to share. Two of them were small cakes that were single serve size passed around the table. To top things off (after we had to ask for Coffee), they served us coffee cups of Dark Tea - NOT COFFEE! My girlfriend ordered Decaf Coffee and it was never delivered. No Manager or Assistant Manager came to the table to apologize. Only the waiter and Bus Boy came to the table. At this point we were fed up (8:30pm). We all got up and left. All agreed it was a disaster dinner, full of surprises. Note: If you Valet Park at the Four Seasons entrance, they charge $22 for parking. There is no free parking anymore at the Four Seasons or Mandalay Bay Hotel. Rates A Return: No Way! There are many good places to eat in Las Vegas. This is not one of them. Poor Service and Extremely high menu prices. Ala-cart Menu.

Foundation Room Restruant - 5 stars. However 4 stars because of lounge experience. It was my anniversary and we were staying at the Delano. It was a Tuesday evening at 8:30pm. There weren’t very many ppl in the restaurant, maybe 5 tables. I thought the decor was pretty and added to the atmosphere and view. Wait staff were nice. The night before we had been at a steakhouse and their staff experience was different. I found the staff at the Foundation Room was more standing to the side, giving you time, you didn’t feel rushed and didn’t feel overly checked on, for us, it worked. The Cesar salad was unique and fresh. We ordered the dry-aged rib eye and a side of scallops, we found both excellent. While we were waiting for our entree we took our drinks to the patio to look at the view. The food came out so fast! The price point was reasonable. While our primary waiter was not very knowledgeable when I asked questions, she was nice and accommodating! There were two other waiters there who also assisted our table and had good personalities! We would go again! Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! We had no issues with staff! We wanted to keep the momentum going and went to the Foundation Room Lounge - Now that was not as good of an experience - I wish I could give it a separate rating, I would give it a 2 Star. Disappointing bartender, dissatisfied old fashion and too expensive for a bad drink. The bartender, who I didn’t get the name of…I don’t know if we aren’t the cliental they want at the lounge. We are “older” in 40s, and didn’t dress as if we are looking to hookup, or appear wealthy, so not sure if there was some sort of preconceived idea about us? We had hoped to continue to amazing restaurant experience by going to lounge. The DJ was making some good music! There were a lot of bouncers/security attendants. There was not that many ppl at 10pm. We were told the couches were for bottle service only, there were tons of couches available with no one sitting at them. The only spot to sit was at the bar, no seats, so we walked to the patio, to see no seats there either, just more couches for bottle service only. A bouncer came and told us two seats opened at the bar, which I thought was nice. We sat down and was greeted with a smile and asked what we like. I asked for a cocktail menu and was told after 9pm they don’t offer one. I didn’t know what I wanted, as I don’t drink for a buzz, I drink for a good recipe and want to enjoy the bartenders creativity, especially when you are paying premium prices!! This is not that place, at least not with the bartender that served us. I asked what she recommended, or if she could suggest something, but she said “you wouldn’t want what I suggested”. I asked why? She said her personal preferences don’t usually match others….(What the heck does that mean - I thought) I was disappointed that she never once budged to offer me a suggestion trying not to let this initial experience be a disappointment, I try to laugh off my irritation and wanting to leave immediately, so I go to the restroom. I come back, while she was willing to take my ordered my husband finally told me to take an old fashion. Now I’ve had lots of experiences and I was hoping that while this interaction was not going to represent the drinks. Well, I was wrong! The old fashion, made with buffalo trace, was the worse I’ve had. I don’t personally make a good old fashion either, but how was it possible for it to be worse, it was as good as a dive bar $5 old fashion. I took a sip and almost got sick from it, how? We didn’t want to keep our tab open after her interaction. We took our drink to the patio and I honestly didn’t want to drink it, but the old fashion and a Japanese whisky (neat) cost $40+tip (I still tipped) so I wasn’t going to waste it. We finished drink and left. We weren’t the only ppl walking in at the same time got one drink and left at the same time.

Would not let me go upstairs as I was wearing shorts. I politely mentioned you should have displayed the dress code policy upon entrance, or on the website. The door man and hostess (Paige) made fun of this statement and explicitly said their dress code policy was on their website of which it was not. This resulted in me feeling it had be selective/ discrimination that made them deny me entry. The net is, I work in events and Marketing and will not consider hosting an event at their premises. I have received exceptional customer service at the RX Boiler room of which I have a 200 person event scheduled this week.

This is about the FR bar - Always find a way to have cocktails at the FR bar on tip of Mandalay Bay Tower. Great northern strip and southeast valley views. Sunset is sublime and borderline spiritual depending on your company. Great, if a little small balcony attached to the bar area. Can get crowded especially on weekends. It's covered and has spritzers so very comfortable regardless of the temperature. What caps it off is a set of great pro bartenders who are badass, friendly and make really good drinks with homemade syrups and mixers. HHour is a bargain and even at full.price thus is a destination location that is worth it. We find ourselves heading up on most trips due to all the positives. Have not done the restaurant though had plenty of apps in the bar area.

Pre arranged guest list through website which was both quick and easy. Arrived on a Friday evening. The lift itself is relatively hidden had to ask for directions. Got there and the view is pretty amazing. Inside however all seating areas were fenced off for VIP so didn’t stay for long.

I went here for dinner. The experience is pretty cool. Private elevator to the top. Great views. The decor is awesome. The waiter was not the best ever. Just ok. And the food was not too notch, also just ok. But the experience was great.

Absolutely perfect. Intimate setting, outstanding service (David), decadent dinner and beautiful balcony on top of Mandalay Bay! Must try!!!

We went up around sunset, the views were amazing and the drinks 2 for 1 so that was a bonus. The food menu looked great, but we only stayed for drinks.

This place was wonderful. The DJ was great the view was amazing..nice free drink entry with a promoter. They allow a re-entry and the staff were all professional. The burlesque theme was awesome with costume and decor. Returned twice in one night it was so awesome.

Great dinner at the Foundation Room! Our table for 6 was up on a bit of a platform with a stunning view. Service was good - could have been a bit faster but all in all no major issues. Food was delish!!! Drinks excellent & everyone loved their meals - 4 steaks & 2 scallops - all terrific.

The Foundation Room has an amazing view of the strip and beyond. It's a cool thing to see while enjoying a drink. It's a great place to take pictures at!

Meal was perfect in every aspect from start to finish. Location is basically the top of Mandalay Bay Resort. Valet parking is available. Check in with the host and then go out on the patio 60+ floors up and enjoy the gorgeous view. Second time eating here and this time was as incredible as the first.

We attended the Foundation Room's New Year's Eve celebration. It was amazing and the highlight of our trip!

How one person can ruin your night! Firstly Wow. Bar, restaurant, waiters, food, drinks & view amazing We arrived 10 minutes early for our table booking and waiting at the checking desk. When the female came she told us to wait in bar and she would come and get us once ready. She was clearly having a bad day and she certainly didn’t hide it! Being the first time visiting I ask where to go and she snapped behind you! My husband was ready to leave at this point. The bar staff were lovely with fantastic service and showed us where to go to check out the stunning views of the strip 💕 We sat at the bar for a second cocktail and watch the female take people through to restaurant. After half an hour after booking I had a message stating my reservation had been cancelled!! I went back to checking in desk & female just looked at me. I asked how long were we to wait and she said you never came back so thought you had gone. I explained she said she would come and get us for her to cut me off dismissing me saying table is ready now! Why I still stayed I have no idea as this service is not acceptable especially in a high end restaurant. My husband said for us to leave as she was rude seating us but I said we would wait for the waiters as bar staff had been amazing. So glad we did as the waiters were just as amazing as the bar staff and the food was delicious with the fantastic views as the background. It is such a shame the first person you meet, as the ‘face’ of your restaurant/ business was so rude & miserable, it really was two extremes. I am very torn to recommend but if you can get past front desk you will not be disappointed. Good luck re training or finding a more suitable desk clerk!

Had a closing night event here. Great views. The patio was really nice to enjoy the evening. Catering was great.

We were only there for a drink and to look over the strip from the outside patio. It was an amazing view and a fun hot atmosphere inside the foundation room. We didn’t have much time so we didn’t stay long but I give it a 5 star review for the view. I have heard that the restaurant is good but have not eaten there myself.

Visited with friends and had been really looking foreword to it after reading the reviews, we were very disappointed the rudest bar maid I have ever encountered served cocktail in a plastic glass, rude to us about the cocktail menu and generally made us feel very unwelcome! I will never ever return Shame we had this experience as the views and venue were fab

Very welcoming staff and a friendly atmosphere with a great view from the balcony of the strip. The happy hour was great value on from 5-8pm.

The amazing view from Mandalay Bay's Foundation Room is coupled with a cozy, warm, eccentric lounge décor and excellent food and drinks. We ordered the steak skewers (loved the chimichurri) and the grilled cheese, both delicious, with a bourbon cocktail and wine. Although we sat on a comfy sofa near the bar, we also spent some time outside to take photos and enjoy the strip view. We didn't pay a cover, but it was early evening on a Monday. We would definitely recommend Foundation Room and would visit again.

The place is divided into two sections: dining/restaurant and bar/lounge, but all of them have everything to please and impress you. Dining area is full of Folk Art Collections, every decoration having its own history. Bar is not long, but very pleasant, the quality of drinks being top. During our third visit we used lounge area - a great area for drinks and delicious appetizers. After certain hour the bar/lounge area becomes pretty crowded and fun, with pretty decent music. Both areas offer thrilling view to city. For such a beautiful interior, quality of service (which is very high) and unique view, prices are pretty competitive: we spent even less compared to restaurants from the downstairs of Mandalay.

The Foundation Room is situated on top of the Mandalay Bay Casino and as such, offers epic views of the airport and the strip, that alone is worth going. We recently decided to splurge in a nice dinner and certainly were not disappointed. As members, we received a special greeting and complimentary Champagne was waiting for us when the elevator reached the top floor. The restaurant offers fine-dinning with a slightly old-school Vegas vibe which I loved. While the waiter could have been a bit more attentive, the service he provided was top notch. I opted for the Roasted Chicken and was told it would be a 20 minute wait which was fine. We snacked on the fresh bread in the meantime which also included Oil/Vinegar, Butter and Hummus. Not sure what they did with the Chicken in those 20 minutes but when I received the plate, my two Chicken legs were perfectly cooked, at the perfect temperature and the flavor was amazing. Quite possibly the best meal I have had in Vegas so far. As I mentioned, this is a fine-dining establishment and the prices reflect that but overall, I found this to be a good value. The quality of the food, the portions, the service and the atmosphere do justify the cost, it's easily a five star experience. When I need to take someone out to impress, I won't consider anywhere else. This is one place you MUST try!

We had an excellent dinner at the Foundation Room. The menu is varied. It is expensive. We all had steak which was very good. The drinks are very good but also expensive. The décor is magnificent and exciting. It gets a very attractive clientele. The wait staff were charming and efficient. It has a great bar both inside and outside. It is located in the Mandalay Bay Casino on the Las Vegas strip. We highly recommend the Foundation Room.

When we arrived at the elevator for the Mandalay Bay's Foundation room, on Thursday August 15th, there was a long line of people waiting to get into the Foundation room night club. However, my Son and I wanted to eat in the Foundation dining room, The young lady at the door to get into the elevator, along with this tall dark and handsome Gent allowed us to skip the line to go up into the dining room. Once we arrived upstairs to the Foundation room, the Young Lady hostess at the dining room door, told us that the restaurant was no longer taking customers, However, she asked us to hold on while went to speak to Management there and they said "Yes". Thanks you. Thank you "Hostess of only 3 months. We owe you, because you Rock! Our wait staff was very Friendly and helpful. The wait staff was superb. Especially the Gentleman named Aldo, he was a Rock star. Aldo was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food that we ordered was delicious, and on time. My Son Robert had the lamb and it was tasty and melted in his mouth and cooked to perfect. I had the roasted delicious, moist, tasty pan roasted half chicken. Nice crispy skin, moist meat and just delicious and cooked to perfection! Kudos to the Chef! Try the crab cakes for a great appetizer. If you come to Vegas, you must try the food at the Foundation room. While you are at it, order the Apple Bread pudding with, hot pecan caramel sauce over, Bourbon vanilla gelato, OMG!

Beautiful view. The religious art pieces in here are very interesting. The view was breathtaking. Bartender was friendly. DJ was playing good music. I can't complain. It was one of the highlights of my trip.

Classy intimate comfortable setting with views and outdoor patio with couches- perfect spot to chill with a cigar, sold on premises. Great for after a night of dancing. Excellent service and good pours.

We were running about 10 min late from our original reservation and they worked with us which we were grateful for. The view was amazing and the food was delicious! They surprised me with a birthday cupcake and I got to share it with friends.

Foundation is a good lounge and nite club. It’s a little pricey, but the same price as a typical Las Vegas nite club. It’s located at the top of the Mandalay Casino hotel. You have to take a specific elevator and go through security to get there. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The balcony area of the club has an amazing view of the Las Vegas strip. I had a great evening and recommend this lounge for a night life activity.

Went for Dinner and drinks. Food was average and slow service. Great view if you can sit out side. It took us a while to get new drinks or anything. I am in no hurry to return. View looks over the airport which was worth the price of admission.

It was a bit spooking waiting for the elevator, entering the "unknown" as it is quite dark but once we arrived to the top floor it was a WOW moment walking in! We were all impressed. The staff was friendly and the food was seriously fantastic! I had a steak that was delicious and highly recommend. My co-worker had the bread pudding and it looked fantastic. I will try it next time! Oh the bar, loved the DJ booth in the fireplace. Very cool AND the VIEW --- WOW! They even have private dining rooms. Perfect for a private meeting or family, friends event!

We visit Vegas several times per year and try to schedule a "highlight" dinner, this time for a birthday. Reservation was for 8:30 on a Sunday and the place was maybe at 30% capacity. The crux of our issue was the server who could not have put less effort into waiting on us if he tried. I ordered a drink (Ginzu old fashioned) and was told "that could take a while." He was continuously short with us and did not explain a single thing about the menu. My wife ordered a salad and had trouble eating it. It was the most basic of salads with little to no dressing. I ordered what I thought was a 16 oz bone-in ribeye ($68.) To the kitchen's credit, it was cooked perfect medium rare. However, there was no way this was 16 oz. Probably closer to 8 or 10. I did expect some sort of house sauce, but it was plain as could be with no seasoning. The view from the patio is great, but you need to get out of your seats to view it. Server never checked on us after bringing our food. Never asked if I needed another cocktail, despite and empty glass in front of him. We're aren't the type to make a fuss of things or complain, but I regret not saying anything about the service or food quality. Truly, one of the most disappointing experiences we've had in Vegas.

Everything from the view, the service, etc was great! I would recommend this spot for any kind of celebration or just for a night out with friends.

Recently made our first ever visit. It’s on the 63rd floor and the views are awesome. The crab cakes are amazing best appetizer I have had in a long time. The diver scallops for the main course we equally as good. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat with a view. Their is a dress code so make sure you follow it or you will be turned away.

Elegant, friendly staff, great food and a view of the strip that is hard to match. This is a wonderful place for a romantic dinner for to. Highly recommend for date night.

5-11-23 My Husband and I had our very first date 5-11-01 22 years ago – Every year except during covid we have returned to the foundation room to celebrate our very first date. This year – we went into the restaurant welcomed by the host down stairs and also by the desk host upstairs that took us to our special table. We waited a bit for someone to come and take our drink order. They came back after bringing a basket of bread and compliments for the beautiful rolls We decided on our appetizers and meal it took such a long time we had to flag someone down to see what was going on with our starters. Breaded cauliflower and the Foie Gras. They said we will go check and see what’s taking so long. After about 10 minutes more they came out with the cauliflower and said we are sorry there was some type of mix up in the kitchen. Several minutes later they delivered the Foie Gras. I had mentioned to my husband I hope our meal is not coming right out because they forgot the appetizers. The restaurant was not busy at all. We finished our appetizers and were awaiting the meal- This also was taking a very long time. We were very surprised of the time frame of serving. I recently had surgery and needed to walk so I went to the restroom to stretch my legs. I just had installed 3 stents I now have a total of 17 stents. I have a hard time sitting too long and also standing, walking is not easy for me either. So the amount of time sitting was causing me issues. Our meal arrived I ordered a salad, my husband ordered Rib eye, creamed spinach and also a twice baked potato. Let’s start with the steak seasoned well good quality but lukewarm The creamed spinach I went to spoon out a taste and it had a huge clump in it and what appeared to look like milk not a cream base (under cooked). I tasted it and it was look warm as well to the point the cheese cooled in a huge clump. We did ask for them to take back because you could not eat it. It finally came back and again was lukewarm with the same clump in the serving dish and added a sprinkle of fresh grated cheese. Rather than to complain we tried to scoop out some of the spinach but the cream / milk base was still watery. Then we tasted the potato – It obviously was a potato from a day or so ago just heated up with cheese- tasted old but was hot. The bread pudding arrived and it was hot but the topping was cold caramel to the point I could not pour it out. It also was under cooked as well as it was somewhat gritty. I walked to the kitchen to take the caramel sauce back to get it heated so we could enjoy the desert. 2 waiters walked by me carrying dishes to a table. So I waited until I saw my original water, and he walked over with no smile and said what do you need? I ask for the sauce to be heated. One person said in the kitchen— “Holy Fxxk!! What a sxxt show “I then walked back to my table- to await my caramel sauce. I am sorry for swearing but those were his words. When they brought it back the other waiter said oh this is hot and just dumped it all over the bread pudding – Guess what it was not hot. I put the lid on top and just covered the dish We waited for our check and no one came. I said lets go up to the front and ask for our bill so we can pay and go home. When we approached the front there was another couple saying they wanted him to go down stairs and get cash and come back. This client was very uncomfortable with that request; He said it felt like he was being bullied by the mafia. My husband went up to see the ladies at the front desk to see if they could get our bill and run our American Express. So we could go home. A man came over and said you need to pay cash for the bill today. My Husband said I only carried my American Express card with me and I need to pay with that. He abruptly said “go downstairs and get cash to pay your bill “Otherwise you’re not leaving this restaurant. He then said our system has been down and we can’t process a card. My husband said - just write down my card and my phone and charge me when it comes back up. We are 40 yr. locals and were members for years at the foundation room. I can’t help if your machine is not working – But this is the only way I can pay. He claimed the system was down all evening – If that was the case he should have had one of the many waiters that came to our table to inform us it was cash only. We at that point had the opportunity to leave and go somewhere else for dinner. My husband ask to speak to the manager, it ended up being the guy that was arguing with my husband and threatening him – My husband said well call the police I am not breaking the law but you can’t hold me here until an unknown date and time.. He ask him what do you expect of me? The manager said to pay your bill. He said I have my card in my hand and I cannot help if you can’t run it. But I cannot sit here all night waiting for you to run it. It seemed at this point the manger was trying to get my husband more and more upset. To the point he said he was calling security – My husband said just call the police. You’re not giving me an option here to pay my bill. I am not trying to skip on my bill. I have my card in my hand. Just take it and get an authorization. He just basically laughed – I then stepped up and ask for the manager – He said he was the manager I was surprised to hear this as he was egging on my husband instigating an argument and fight. I said you’re the manager? I am shocked and you need more training on how to work with your patrons and issues that may arise. I also said to him that he should be watching the kitchen and servers as we have a minimum of 5 plus different people at our table – It was very much unorganized and the food came out lukewarm. The meal was not good or even worth paying for but we are trying to just pay our bill. He just looked at me with a smug look as he could care less. I then said you know you should really wipe that smug look off your face. He then accused me of being racist and sexist ! Really – I said how is that? No Answer… Again just smiled arrogantly. I said to him he was harassing and upsetting an older couple and he was discriminating against us. The bouncer then said to my husband we just need to pay the bill. My husband said ok that’s all I have been trying to do. Just take my card and try and run it. The bouncer said ok let me see what I can do. He came back rather quickly with our slip and for our signature. We then left. I came home and had to take heart meds as my heart was pounding from the upsetting engagement that took place. Stress highly affects my body and heart arteries (that could cause a heart attack) and today – I feel just horribly physically. Main 702-632-7600 Gina – mgr house of blues 5-12-23 4:22 I was told the general manager would call me and still 5-14 no call back

Brilliant place. The view is stunning - all down the strip. The rest of the restaurant/bar/club (not sure really what to call it) is fantastic - really great interior. It would be good to go to anywhere. The fact that it's about 3 miles in the sky is even better. It is seriously expensive by any sensible measure, but this is Vegas - you leave 'sensible' at the city limits. Just enjoy.

Open Table reservations and all reservations that we not made directly with The Foundation room were canceled because a computer glitch let them double book the restaurant with regular patrons and a wedding party. When I asked to speak to a manager, the manager responded glibly that there was nothing that could be done as most of our cliental are 'out of towners' that would never be back anyways. Very rude man.

I love this place! Wonderful strip view from restaurant. Expensive but everything fantastic( Food,Service)!

We came here because we heard of the great view and patio overlooking the strip. Definitely a must see. The food was great and very flavorful. The atmosphere inside was very unique. The staff was very slow but friendly.

I was celebrating 25 years in business in Vegas during National Finals Rodeo. We had never been to Foundation Room and it was the perfect choice. Sitting out on the deck looking over the lights of Vegas strip from the top of Mandalay Bay... under the full moon... romantic and wonderful. We didnt know there was a restaurant or we would have had dinner. But we ordered champagne and exquisite choices off the bar menu. Great service. Great food. Great ambiance. We will definately be back and considering membership.

A few things: •They have a dress code (I love dress codes. It keeps things classy). Unless you stay at Mandalay, do NOT walk unless you bring a change of shoes, as they don’t allow sandals/flip flops. We just brought a change of shoe. • Get a reservation! They will fill up quick! •Go at sunset (April/May/June) at 6:00 or so. It’s worth watching the mountains disappear and The Strip lights get brighter as you watch from the amazing terrace. Fantastic atmosphere! It was one of our favorite things about Vegas!

We had the greatest night in Vegas. Dinner was so good my filet was perfect and my husband sea bass wow!! ... Morgan took good care of us all the time, she really knows how to do her job ... congratulations!! We will come back for sure!

It was our 28th anniversary. We had purchased a VIP package to Santana at House of Blues which came with dinner at the foundation room. I confirmed everything and that it was our anniversary. In fact before going upstairs the gentleman wished us a happy anniversary. I was told we would get a window seat. We went up the elevator and checked in. The woman said “are you celebrating anything special?” Right there I said must be a disconnect here to myself but answered our anniversary. Nothing said. We had a table away from the window but I just let it be. The view is very nice certainly! We had a prefixed menu for the show. My wife chose the filet and I chose the Halibut which they said they didn’t have for the last two days and they replaced it with salmon. So I got the salmon. I asked for it blackened and at first got a run around they don’t like to do that etc. My wife ordered her filet medium rare. It came out well well done. Even the waitress looked and said oh wow. So now I had to eat alone on my anniversary because they messed her steak up and mine came out and sending fish back doesn’t work. My fish was good. We had a salad that was good. Her steak came back out. This time it was medium rare in the center but half the filet was not edible. You couldn’t cut through it with the steak knife. I had to taste it and my guess is that it was just a bad cut of meat. I am gluten free and out that request in. I couldn’t eat desert because they did nothing. They offered me vanilla ice cream and I said ok and brought out pistachio instead. For all this no anniversary wishes or anything at all. Not even a drink in the house to apologize. Service was painfully slow. My water was empty the meal. I had to ask for a check as we were going to be late. I filled it out to charge the room and Waited 15 minutes and then finally said to my wife let’s go we will be late for the show. The waitress caught us and said she needed to run it. Another 5 minutes. I would never go back there. View great but it’s very expensive and for that money there are fantastic steak houses with better food and service. Sorry to write this but on an anniversary special dinner and night you want it to be special and they offered nothing to recover from this at all. Fortunately we just made it to the Santana show which was incredible.

This was a cool spot for the view and atmosphere but I wasn't overly impressed with the food. Definitely worth checking out for a drink or appetizers but not sure I'd go back for dinner.

While walking through the casino toward our early morning tour of the surrounding area, Jill and I were approached by a young man offering us free passes to Foundation Room. Our immediate reaction? “Uh, if you haven’t noticed, we’re not really of the ‘clubbin’ age.” He assured us, “come after dinner and witness the best view on the strip!” So, in the back pocket the tickets went and on with the day we went. Fast forward… we finished a wonderful dinner at RM Fine Seafood (review to come soon) and were walking through the casino (happens a lot) when it struck us; let’s visit the Foundation Room. After being carded (that within itself was entertaining, especially seeing as how the doorman was immediately smitten with Jill), we waited for the elevator to take us up. Doubt was raised when we were accompanied on the ride by a small group of millennials who’s command of the English vocabulary consisted of, “like”, “so”, and “uh”. Regardless, we carried on. Walking in, the music blared, again creating doubt in our minds. We made our way to the bar and ordered some VERY expensive drinks. Granted, EVERYTHING in Las Vegas is expensive but this superseded it. With drinks in hand, we sought to escape the noise pollution and headed out toward the outdoor patio… along with what seemed like half the hotel’s guests. BUT this is where the ‘negativity’ ends! Walking out, we were greeted with an awe-inspiring view! Being very near the top of the hotel, the breeze that met us was absolutely refreshing! Jill and I were taken aback with the visuals the strip provides; one ‘billion’ neon lights hitting your eyes all at once, highlighting the endless see of hotels & casinos! From street level, it is amazing. From this view, it was INSANE! It was virtually overwhelming. Was it packed? Yes, but everyone was friendly and willing to allow others to get to the rail in order to gain an unobstructed view. Further, everyone was in a delightful mood freely socializing with both friends and strangers (not to mention, the music was much lower in volume). As we stood there, in a warm embrace, we took it all in only allowing our kisses to interrupt. Needless to say, we are confident all would enjoy this experience!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS… US HOSPITALITY AT IS WORST After paying $60 for a sub standard Vodka and Orange (how can you get wrong!) and a Long Island Ice Tea, that wasn’t Long, didn’t have ice and tasted more like a home made gone off Latte than a Tea, we were then asked by the 15 year old ‘guest services’ boy to have his stools back as apparently ‘they had already been rented’ Who would have thought you had to rent a stool! I was then ‘escorted’ out on account on challenging said little boy and his 2 stools Shame really cause I’ve just cancelled the booking we had with them tomorrow night with our new found 27 friends of under 17’s, who they freely let in! Terrible bar, terrible experience and better for not having my money for their over-priced, sub standard experience Vegas at its worst, amazing the place still makes any money

Great decor, the view from the patio one of the best, cool vibe. Dinner very civilized, and well done, service personal. Gets busy for evening drinks and I've never seen it not crowded (which I personally like). It's a small space, so if you don't like crowds or are not physically able to negotiate your way through a crowd, this might not be the place for you late night when it's busy. Security staff are pretty high strung during those times - do not mess with them - I have watched a few discussions escalate much too quickly (consistent year after year).

Came here as the first stop to our VIP Vegas club crawl and it didn’t disappoint. The views were UNBELIEVABLE over Vegas. The drinks are expensive however and the bar server wasn’t the most approachable which is a shame as the vibe itself was good. The balcony itself is incredible and worth a drink just for that.

Wanted to go to the Sky Fall Lounge at the Delano but it was closed. They recommended the Foundation Room. No cover charge. Very odd decor. Asian theme. Went out on the balcony to see the view. It looks right over the Route 91 Harvest Festival venue and the 32nd floor where the mass shooting took place. Not pleasant for me because I am a victim of the mass shooting. I really don’t want to support MGM properties.

We were a group of 6 ladies who ate had started the evening in the House of Blue's for dinner (which was great). I asked the waitress if there was a rooftop bar still (as I had visited 7 years ago) she said yes and gave us some tokens so we could access the rooftop bar. I am so glad we did, it was excellent! The music was fantastic, there was enough space for us all (Weds eve), and the music was brilliant. I cannot recommend this place enough, the views of the strip were just amazing.

We were invited to the Foundation Room on a Saturday night and it was quite crowded. The outside patio is long and narrow with VIP areas sectioned off with stanchion ropes; great DJ/music. Would definitely recommend, especially after sunset as the views of the Las Vegas strip are magnificent.

I'm giving the Foundation Room 3/5 stars, when I seriously considered just 2 stars. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because we went on a Sunday night, and even in Vegas that's not the best night for wanting to socialize. The staff is very professional and accommodating, but if you want "table service" you can expect to drop at least $500+, which is only going to include 1 bottle of your choice. If you want more than that, take whatever price an average nightclub might charge and double it, and that's what it's going to cost you. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and the staff did gather around our couch & table, wish her a happy birthday, and pop a confetti canon over us. The music was "fair", audio was too loud for any conversation, at no time were we asked if we wanted any hors d'oeuvres or anything to snack on. They're open until 1 AM, and by midnight we were the last people in the entire place, so we left (even though our fee could have let us stay until closing time). There are other nightclubs in Vegas in the same price range that have far better features. Would I go again? Probably not...

The lounge is located on the highest floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The unobstructed views are simply excellent. There is a very nice terrace with long couches to enjoy, for all guests. The interior decor is eclectic and beautiful. The setting is a wonderful collection of works of art from Asia, Northern Africa and the Middle East. It feels like a world traveler covered his home, with what he collected during his travels. Every inch seems to have some interesting piece of history covering it. A truly beautiful setting!! There is a very nice bar with a pleasant staff. A few private areas are tucked away and could be great for a small private meeting or gathering. It extremely well done and recommended. It was worth traveling to, from the other parts of the strip!!

This place... Wow A must see, must go to restaurant and club... i really enjoyed this place, food great, drinks great, Dj Kay outstanding lady dj, atmosphere, rooftop view..... you got to go see this in person...

Came here for a reception as part of a national conference. Views are spectacular. There's both indoor & outdoor places to look out over the city. We had a variety of food, including many appetizers. It was good - very good

Located au the top floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. On the outside you have a perfect view along the strip and the skyline of Las Vegas. There you will make your wallpaper photo... ;) beautifully at night.

We stopped here because we wanted to see the strip from the top of the hotel. I wasn't sure I'd be able to get in due to the fact I was wearing a long sleeve t-shirt with jeans and sneakers. They did allow us in. The elevator literally zooms up to the 64th floor. We didn't eat at the restaurant but chose the bar. So there was a $20/cover fee to get in. The drinks were good, but highly over priced. And like any other club, your not sitting unless you pay. They were playing good music but nobody was dancing. It was tight an hour into our visit. The balcony outside was packed as well as the bar area. One had to really squeeze in on the balcony to take pictures of the strip. Not sure if I'd go back, but at least we got to go.

A top of the world experience if you can get into this members-only and their guests restaurant, bar, lounge, and chill club. There's a dance floor and live DJ music to enhance the mood. The bar spans across the entire club and as packed as it may get, you won't wait very long to get a drink. Take a walk onto the patio that faces north on the famous Las Vegas Blvd. Strip. If you look to your right (east), you will see parts of McCarran Airport and it's parked planes as well as runways. If you so choose, dine in the fine dining restaurant and enjoy the unique and flavorful menu with at least one item that will suit everyone in your party since there are not many items to choose from.

Purchased VIP tickets for Carlos Santana (House of Blues). VIP included pre-show dinner at Foundation Room. Received a text on Friday, Nov 4 asking to confirm our reservation for 5 pm on Saturday, November 5. I confirmed that YES we would be there. Arrived at 4:50 pm Saturday, November 5. Showed our confirmation text and was told by the person at the Foundation desk "Your reservation has been cancelled. There is a private party tonight and the kitchen is closed." No alternate arrangement had been made for dinner, no discussion of a refund. Nothing.

Went up around 5p.m. for the Happy Hour. 3 hours later we left after having "a drink" Talked with the bartenders Johnathan and Suzanna and had a great time. Johnathan even gave us a quick tour of the place. Amazing views of the strip.

We visited a friend in Vegas and she booked a restaurant for each night of our visit, all American themed and more or less steak, steak and steak. I was tired of poorly grilled/ cooked steaks and went for chicken at this establishment. Oh dear, the worst chicken I have tasted. Not well cooked, no flavor or seasoning. All for a knock down price of $42! Foie Gras was so so as well as the scallops.

Really great atmosphere and incredible views of the city. Food was great and the servers were very pleasant. Overall highly recommend for a unique dining experience.

Excellent hosting & customer service in the private/VIP rooms. Our party was treated with style & grace as we celebrated a family's birthday.

The view is an unprecedented. Due to its locationAt the south end of the strip or you can look north and see all the lights I would say it’s better than the ghost bar at the palms. The service is impeccable and feels very exclusive when you get past security downstairs and into the elevator and the collection of art and the eclectic rooms make it a wonderful experience I’d get on the list and visit it when you’re there you will not regret it.

Everything about Foundation Room was first class. Service was amazing. Food was delicious. Wine selection was great and the view was unbelievable. You felt like you were in an exclusive, private club, which it used to be. Highly recommend dinner and drinks here if you want a special experience!

The hostess were so nice and well put together. Once I sat down, I immediately noticed how comfortable I felt. It was as though I were dining in my own living room but with full service. The ambiance is super sexy, the food delishhhhh, and dranks were great. Our waitress was on top of her game. Took great care of our table. I forgot my receipt after leaving and called the next day to see if they could email me a copy and they were able to do that within minutes. I needed it for work expenses. Truly appreciate the above and beyond service here. I would go back when i visit Vegas.

I could not be more satisfied in my choice for where to spend my 23rd birthday! I had been comparing different clubs and lounges to work out the best deal for weeks upon weeks! This all stopped when I came into contact with Ben from the Foundation room. I became a priority from the first minute of contact! I told him exactly what I wanted and he provided it for me! We had a VIP section overlooking the Vegas Strip! Upon arrival I was walked to my section and introduced to my server Jenny! Jenny did an outstanding job serving our drinks. Most waitresses I've encountered will pump your head up and just do the most to try to earn a tip. I couldn't be more satisfied in how genuine of a person Jenny was! She was not over the top and could actually hold a good conversation and still made us feel like a priority! Javier our security guard was the man! Anybody we did not want in our section, Javier was right on top of it! Any time I left VIP he was right there with me with his flashlight! This was my best night in Vegas by far! Everytime I come back to Vegas I will be going to the Foundation room for sure! If you are like me and looking to be a king for a night, you will not regret contacting Ben to set up a section. He can be reached via email at ben@foundationroomlv.com

We stumbled upon the foundation room whilst wondering around the lobby in Mandalay Bay. It was happy hour and we were offered free entry to the rooftop bar. It seemed we had nothing to lose so why not. So glad we went - the view from the bar is fantastic, you can see right down the strip. The outdoor balcony is heated so it can be enjoyed even on a cooler evening. The happy hour was very good value - after paying $12 for a can of Coors at another venue it was a pleasant surprise to pay only $5 for wine or vodka cocktails. Really great experience, would recommend going before 8pm if possible as it does get very busy after that.
Worth it
We went around 10:00. So dance floor empty but music was playing. This was fine for us. We wanted to have a drink and check out view. We did not pay any cover to go in and I got a free drink. Win win!
