Delightful dinner experience

By Stacy Strickland |

Great atmosphere, eats and drinks! Make a reservation :) We shared a mista insalate which was fresh and delightful. She had the marinara pizza and I had the regina margarita. both were delicious! The chianti was also very good. For dessert, she had chocolate gelato which was rich and paired well with coffee. For the life of me, I can't remember what I ate for dessert... I do recall that I loved it and cleaned my plate! Love the service and cleanliness of Fritti. We had asked for crushed red pepper for our pizza, and they brought it in a cute little stainless steel cup... which meant no plastic or paper waste!

You do not get what you pay...

By KnowHowGeorge |

Folks let’s be clear. This PIZZA is OK, compared to other “American pies” served as pizza in GA. However, understand that the owner is running 12% food cost on your pizza that you pay $13. In other words, there are no toppings. There is no 8 OZ. of cheese and meat on it for fact. This should be standard for pizza of his size. The secret of this pizza is Caputo 00 farina, Italian tomato, and the temperature over 700F. This would be a solid place if the price of pizza was $ 8, otherwise, people that read between the lines feel cheated.

Happy Large Group

By 981KPA |

We were a large group of about 20 of us with various dietary restrictions. In addition, a few people had to leave before the rest of us. Kat was our amazing server who took care of everyone's needs! The food and atmosphere were great.

Outstanding Dining...

By Rae F |

This is a great neighborhood gem - fresh, outstanding pizzas, salads and other Italian goodies. The atmosphere indoors and out is fun, clean and cozy. The service is great and we felt very welcome. This was our second date there and we will definitely be back.

A great place to share food with friends

By Andrew J |

We ordered a few appetizers and two pizzas and hungout on the patio. Its a great place to people watch. The food was good and reasonably priced. The portions were more than we were expecting.

Great experience

By John C |

We went to Fritti because we saw it on "Atlanta Eats". Let me begin by saying that our server (Chandler) was awesome and attentive. Kudos to him. The pizza is very flavorful and is the antithesis of fast food pizza. My only knock on neopolitana pizza is that the crust is rather flaccid. It's definitely "fork and knife". I love thin crust that has a little give or flex (New York Style). This was a bit too limp for me. But that's not their fault that I am ignorant to that style of pizza. I had the sausage and pepper pizza. My wife had margarita. We also tried Bruschetta and calamari. Both were really good. Short version: Go to Fritti...NOW.

Great pizza

By expansiveworld |

Probably my favorite pizza in Atlanta. The place, itself, is a little trendy for my taste but I prefer the pizza to the much lauded Antico's. The sauce is perfect, which IMO is usually the hardest to get right, fresh mozzarella not to heavy..hit's just the right note.

Kids love pizza, if you picky one who likes thin ones with more options for topics..

By 4to |

Kids love pizza, if you picky one who likes thin ones with more options for topics..-this place can offer you some variety to choose from, yes pricy but worth it, don't forget to ask balsamic vinegar (12 years according to stuff) and olive oil-both delish, see my pix for pizzas. O yeas, pizza w/Nutella for desert was kids fave too, of course!

Authentic Italian Pizza

By Tom S |

Fritti's Pizza is authentically Italian, with a light, thin crust, fresh, flavorful toppings and prepared in a wood-fired oven. Our pizza selections were absolutely superb. Our server was equally as good, attentive and prompt in responding to any requests. If the weather is good, choose the open air dining, it is much quieter. The indoor portion of the restaurant is high energy; cross-table conversation may be difficult for groups larger than 4 depending on when you visit and is not recommended if you're looking for quiet atmosphere and relaxed conversation. The restaurant is located in the Inman Park neighborhood of Atlanta, there is paid parking available in a large parking deck close by, a better option may be to Uber to and from the restaurant. It's a perfect place for a night out with friends and true Italian pizza, enjoy!

Excellent wood-fired pizza

By ElaineAB |

We were a group of 6 and each one of us ordered a pizza. Mine, speck and rucola (smoked prosciutto, smoked mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, arugula, olive oil), was absolutely delicious. My friends were happy with their choices as well. I had to repeat the experience the following weekend and plan to come back many more times. Also, the location is great!

Awesome

By GiKellie |

I've been to Fritti plenty of times but my last visit was fantastic. We ordered the manzo salad. The beef was cooked to perfection. We followed up with the Speck e Rucola pizza which was divine. A.J our server was extremely attentive and checked on us discretely, filling our water and wine without being asked. If you've never been to Fritti you should!

Sunday evening

By GinkgoClub |

Good pizzas and tasty soft italian style fried squid. Sunday evening was not crowded but the restaurant was noisy. Nice overall atmosphere

Decent pizza

By waldentenn |

This is virtually strictly thin crust pizza menu. The 'zas are OK and served with adequate urban panache. Prices are a bit steep for what you get but you can eat outside, which is very pleasant

Fritti

By Marian L |

The pizza here is really good. My husband ordered a Napoli pizza, and he liked it a lot (he is really picky). Too bad when it came to my order. I suffered from really bad acid reflux that day so I asked not to put onions, and dressing on the salad I ordered. When my salad arrived it had onion on it, and it was drenched in balsamic vinegar so I had to send it back to have it remade. I also ordered grilled shrimp always asking to not add any onions to the salad that came along with it. The plate arrived, and without even looking I took a bite of the salad that came along with it to then find it was full of onions! They did took my plate back to make me another plain salad. I will be coming back to this restaurant because the food isn't bad, and I want to try their pizza. if you have any allergies to food just watch out if you eat here.

great for late dinner

By PB99power |

Great array of pizzas, grilled items and sides--I like the arugula pizza and the crunchy mushrooms. Wine list and drinks are good. Atmosphere is fun and energetic.

Great location / food for a rehearsal dinner

By Becky V |

What a great restaurant! We had our son's rehearsal dinner here and the food and service were wonderful. Highly recommended.

BEST Pizza Ever!

By Abby B |

This pizza restaurant was SO good. I had the vegetarian pizza and really enjoyed it. The are so many great flavors. If you are in the mood for pizza, definitely try this place out. The modern atmosphere is very cool. Their floor heaters set the mood lighting and make the place warmer.

Best Pizza we have had

By Marthabuca |

The atmosphere is great. We visited the one in Inman Park. Although we only shared 1 appetizer and 1 pizza, we both agreed that it might just be the best pizza we have ever had. Highly recommended.

Very good

By JRR2013 |

At location of the place was good. Food was tasty. We just ordered a veg pizza and a salad. Fast service. Server was very couteous

Best Gluten-Free Pizza in Atlanta

By Rod D |

I highly recommend Fritti's. Located in cool Inman Park neighborhood. Classy, casual and reasonably priced. The staff are knowledgeable and kind.

Great Night! Great Food! and Great Service!

By Jonathan B |

My girlfriend and I went to Fritti last night for a fun Valentine's Day dinner. I have been here in the past, but I think this place actually got better since my last trip. We had the fried eggplant and mozzarella balls for an appetizer which was delicious. I really enjoyed our pizza, the Maialona (definitely didn't spell that right), we also shared a beat salad which was very tasty. The food was excellent, but I would also like to say how great the entire staff was on a very busy night. We went for a drink before and the bartender politely suggested that my GF would not like the wine she picked by suggesting she taste it first. He was 100% right and he recommended a that she really enjoyed. We were then seated a few minutes early by the excellent host staff. Finally, our waitress was Brittany. She had only been working at Fritti for a few days but her recommendations were great. We loved the appetizer and wine she suggested. She had a full area but we never felt neglected. I just want to say thank you to Brittany and the rest of the staff for making our experience so great! I think we will be back very soon!

Great pizza in a relaxed atmosphere

By Panoptical |

This is a very popular, local restaurant. The place offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere and serves tasty pizza made in the traditional Italian way. Highly recommended!

Late night drink

By tigg189074 |

My husband and I stopped in here while we were staying in the area. We wanted to have a drink around midnight but the spots across the street were packed with a bunch of drunk 20 year olds. Unfortunately, this place closed at midnight. We arrived at 11:45 and the bartender served us. We ordered two old fashioned drinks and was able to enjoy them in a very relaxing, cool space. The bartender was very friendly and talked to us while he was closing up the bar. It was definitely the sort of bar we'd love to hang out in if only we lived closer!

Fantastic

By William M |

A friend of mine recommended this place for pizza. A coworker and myself went for lunch on a whim and we were both amazed. The pizza was fantastic. Fresh isn't the word. I already have plans to go back.

Our favorite pizza place in Atlanta

By Akshi K |

Their pizza is comparable to the one in Rome. We love their Estiva and Crudo Rucola pizzas. If the weather is nice, sit outside.

Great Pizza with Bad Service

By Gerardoar |

I visited Fritti for dinner during a weekend trip visiting a friend in Atlanta. The menu has plenty of pizzas to choose from. We order one Margarita, and one Mushroom and Ham pizza. Both pizzas were great, very authentic compared to the pizzas in Napole, Italy. The crust and the ingredients were very good. On the other hand, the service was horrible. The server initially asked us if we wanted any alcoholic drinks, to which we said no and that we were fine with water for the time being. She came back a second time to ask us again if we wanted a beer or wine, which we said again no. Then she came back a third time to ask us if we had ordered a Peroni beer, and again we said no. By the time the bill came, she had included in our bill a glass of wine, which we kindly asked her to removed. She seemed annoyed all night by the fact that we didn't order any alcoholic drinks.

Pizza, pizza!

By gerp_11 |

Neighborhood setting, off the beaten track for sure. We need directions every time. The staff is very nice, friendly and when asked for their favorites, always willing to point you in the right direction. Pizza is excellent, more European and American, which I love. Pasta - perfectly cooked. Reasonably priced.

Go for the "Sorrentina" pizza

By cdjvj |

Fritti, located in the very cool Atlanta neighborhood of Inman Park, is one of my two favorite places to get pizza in the Atlanta area. The restaurant is housed in what looks like a cool, old garage storefront building and the interior has a trendy, but warm atmosphere. They have a small, but nice bar inside as well as a lovely patio for outdoor dining. They serve wonderful salads and appetizers, but their main course is predominantly comprised of Neapolitan style pizzas. If you are not in the mood for pizza, there are not too many other choices...but, the pizza is delicious and that is what people go to Fritti for. I would normally opt for "Margherita" pizza, but if you are going to Fritti, I highly recommend their "Sorrentina" pizza (San Marzano tomato, bufala, smoked mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, Parmigiano Reggiano, olive oil). I do not normally like smoked mozzarella, but this pizza is delicious andI think it is much tastier than their Margherita pizza. I am also a huge fan of their Crocchette di Melanzane appetizer (eggplant, mozzarella, and roasted pepper croquettes). All in all, Fritti is a lovely restaurant that serves delicious pizzas in a great atmosphere...which is why it is one of the few places I frequent on a very regular basis.

Like, VERY authentic Italian food

By Ricky Jameson |

I came here after doing some Axe Throwing down the street, I had the baked calzone, it was humongous and delicious. It was OK by itself, but it was served with some marinara sauce that took it up a notch for me. The waitress was really nice, she kept our waters refilled, and was attentive, but not overbearing. I also got an unsweet iced tea, although they offer you simple syrup if you like sweet tea, the tea was delicious. The patio seating is super nice, especially on days where there’s a bit of a breeze TBH, the calzone looked so good that I forgot to take picture before hand, my bad lol I also ended up getting affogato, insanely good espresso here, although it kept me up all night, but so worth it

great place for business lunch or intimate dinner

By DeltaFlyGirl88 |

Went to Fritti for a business lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Appetizers were small portions, so we ordered 7 for our group of 16. Pizza and calzone sizes were huge (we may have loaded up on the apps!) so many people happily left with leftovers. Service was prompt and personal, waiters recommendations were on point, and they were great about adding or removing items to/from dishes. Enjoyed the lunch and will be back!

A very good Pizza

By Lourdes M |

If you want to eat a non traditional pizza, this is the place to visit. My favorite is the pineapple and the Margherita. The wines variety and quality are very good. The Chianti wines are exquisite. Service is very good Highly recommended

Awesome Food and Atmosphere

By Phyllis Turner |

Wonderful meal at Fritti with friends when visiting Atlanta! The food was delicious from appetizers on down to the meal and drinks. Extensive wine list, friendly and competent staff and cool warehousey type atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

Best italian pizza in Atlanta

By lone_gunmen |

When they told me about this restaurant which served Italian pizza, I was a bit curious. Italian pizza is often imitated, but It is hardly as good as the original one. To be onest, this time I found a surprising authentic Italian pizza with excellent ingredients and perfect cooking. Very good also the appetisers with different types of Italian hams and cheese. It is a lovely place tò have a pizza with friends and enjoy the Atlanta city life.

Stil one of the best Italian Pizza in town

By Cristian |

It's been a while since the last time we went to Fritti but I have it to admit that the place didn't lose its glamour and the quality of the food served (we went there, as a family for the pizza) is still excellent. The size of the Pizzas served is a little smaller than at other comparable places, but ingredients, preparation and taste get 5 stars out of 5. We went on a quiet Sunday nite, just a few tables, therefore we experienced great friendly service and no wait at all for our orders. A little high in price, but well worth the compliments of our little one (daddy, this is my best pizza ever!!!) He's only 6, let's give him time, but the message was loud and clear.

Fun birthday celebration

By Carol S |

We tried several different pizzas and salads. Enjoyed them all! Good wine selection. Service was just right amount of attentiveness. Sat in the outdoor area which was great on a cool evening like tonight.

Good Neighborhood Option

By Gary B |

I've eaten at Fritti a few times, but it had been a while. We were a party of six and were seated at a large table inside near the food bussing area. If you go, definitely request to be seated in the open air patio or outside as the noise level in our area was ridiculous. We all had salad and pizza and the food was good. I guess I'm a bar snob, but I like to drink martini's and we martini drinkers are a different breed. Martini's should ALWAYS be served in a traditional martini glass...not a fan of restaurants who try to invent their own style of glass. Fritti uses a low glass that looks like the top of a martini glass, but no stem. I can live with that, but the glass is quite small AND my first drink was only 3/4 full. Another major complaint...when you're paying $11 for a martini and it comes in a small glass and is only partially full you've failed in my book. I spoke to the waitress when I ordered a second and told her she could charge me for a double or triple, but I wanted a full glass. The second martini was fuller than the first, but they still didn't get it to the rim. Now some will say it's too difficult to carry the martini to the table when it's so full. And to that I say...I've had many waiters and bartenders serve me a brimming martini with no problem. And, if the waiter or bartender can't do that, then bring the drink in a small shaker and pour it at the table...easy solution. We all know that alcohol is the most profitable thing in a restaurant so to charge a premium price and skimp on the contents never makes me a fan. I probably wouldn't return to Fritti, but you should probably check it out for yourself and be your own judge.

Trained waiters

By elvan |

I have dined at Fritti previously and found the food and service to be exceptional. And as a result of the previous experience I suggested the restaurant for a place to eat with my out of town guest. However I was in for a suprise. Patrick our waiter was very slow and seemed uncocerned with our table in particular. Finally had taken our order, food was slow to come out to the table and the pizza was not at all like the standards we had experienced before. In addition one of the entree that we had ordered never arrived at the table. After asking him where it was he looked very puzzled as if he knew nothing of the order. He then said oh well let me put that in for you, not even taking responsiblity for not correctly the first time. No apologies or concern was shown because of his mishap. And then he walked away only to return to verify it once again and at that time we had had already finished with what else ordered and decide to pass at this time. Shortly there after returned with our bill and at this time the bill was not done correctly also.We told him about the bill only to find him to walk away unconcerned. I would suggest training for employees.

Going away party

By Peggy H |

The food was excellent. It was easy to find, with directions I had printed from the computer. Three of us ordered two pizzas to share, and each ordered a side salad to go with it. Both were excellent. However, they only brought us one pizza. We thought they would bring the other in a few minutes, but we had to remind her. She was very apologetic, and all was well. It is the beginning of September, and it was very hot outside, where we were seated. They lowered the doors on the front of their building, which used to be a fire station, and we could get the air conditioning from the main part of the restaurant. They had everything set up, just as requested. This was a private party, and was paid for by the hostess, but I noticed the prices were a little pricey. It was definitely a wonderful experience. I would give it an A.

Terrific European style Pizza in a Fun Area

By Stephen C |

This is as close to an Italian pizza as you are going to get with one possible exception in Atlanta. You will have to read my other reviews to see who it is. Inman Park is an up and coming area with a host of smart new restaurants and renovated housing. It has a great vibrant atmosphere. Parking is available across the street and the restaurant itself is divided into outside and inside. We chose outside since it was one of those perfect spring evenings in Atlanta. The wine list is predominantly Italian and decent value. The salads and appetizers are pretty traditional Italian but the Arugula salad with Parmesan cheese is a winner. The crust is what makes the pizza so good and there is enough choice to please every body. A fun tasty informal evening for $60 for two. Hard to beat and we will definitely go back.

Group work dinner, good food and fun atmosphere

By Debbie C |

Surprises on the wine list, including a white from the region in Italy where my husband’s family comes from. Calzones and pizzas were a hit with our crowd. I had the beet salad and some grilled shrimp skewers, also good. Would return in another visit to Atlanta.

Five Stars!

By Fearless616749 |

We had apps, dinner, drinks and dessert. Service was excellent and all of the food quite yummy as well. The overall experience was fantastic. We even had a newborn baby within our party and the restaurant amenities worked well. Highly recommend this gem!!!

Love everything

By Scott J |

Great space. Amazing pizza. Quick service. Awesome small bar. One of my favorite restaurants in the U.S.

The place to go for lunch!

By whitneyncooper |

Loved Fritti! The atmosphere was lovely. I had some calamari as an appetizer and the pollo panozzi (a chicken panini) as my main course, and it was divine. The coffee was good too: everything just tasted so fresh. They even cut my sister's pizza for her! Would definitely recommend. (The restaurant is also in a great area, and there was a lovely park close by to walk your pizza off.)

Chocolate soup says it all!

By daisyphresh |

Very trendy, great terrace and a wood burning oven for pizza! We had our own pizza (we definitely could have shared) and we taste-tested. Plenty of choices with all fresh ingredients. The pièce de résistance....the chocolate soup. Huge bowl of chocolate loving with just a sprinkle of country croutons. It's definitely worth spending a nice evening, on the terrace, sharing a hearty bowl of chocolate soup.

Always Good!

By PB99power |

A fun night with friends--love the mushrooms and always get them! Two fresh salads: caesar and arugula. And the speck pizza--wow. Service a bit spotty but otherwise amazing as usual!

Hard to Find

By chocolatequeen2018 |

Restaurant is hard to find. Once you get there parking is hard to find. That is not because this place is busy, but because they are surrounded by residential areas. The food wasn’t that great. The manager was having their own personal conversation and the service was very confusing. It took me about 30 minutes to get a glass of water.

Traditional pizzas, lots of variety

By jpjpjpjpj |

This upscale pizzeria is trendy and has that buzzy atmosphere you would expect in this hip part of Atlanta. There were an amazing variety of Neopolitan pizzas, along with a couple of other items, plus starters. The service was very good and quick. We enjoyed our pizzas, but you are definitely paying for the atmosphere and location.

Poor service

By Andrew B |

The food was tasty, the service was terrible!! I would never consider returning and would not recommend it to anyone.

Best pizza in Atlanta

By Lucas L |

They have the best pizza in Atlanta, always a great crowd, great selection of pizza, only place I go when I want a good pizza.

All Good, Nothing Great

By Keith B |

We’ve been to Sotto Sotto next door and wanted to try their less-expensive little brother. Both are owned by Riccardo Ullio and both are good. We tried some of the house cocktails and some wines by the glass which were all nice, but expensive compared to the rest of the menu. For appetizers we tried the Funghi Fritti and the Calamari Fritti. Both were good but nothing special. We moved on to the Bietole e Mele and the Caesar salads. Both were nice. Again, nothing special. For entrees our group shared three pizzas and a beef skewer. The beef was surprisingly tough and the pizzas were good to very good. We had some very tasty gelatos for dessert. Our server was helpful and efficient. Fritti was good, but nothing we had would cause me to want to return any time soon. I would prefer to spend a little more and go to Sotto Sotto again.

Delicious pizza and great atmosphere!

By srampelli |

I went here with some relatives who are regulars. We had the calamari appetizer and it was very good. I had the margherita pizza and it was delicious! Check out the menu online, beforehand. It is somewhat limited, compared to other Italian restaurants. I would eat here again and recommend it to others.

Good Food

By keaura |

I've seen Fritti on television shows on HGTV a number of times; it is one place the shows' stars meet with the clients. So of course I've always wanted to go. We had two apps and each had a pizza. The food was good. The pizzas were thin crust and nicely crisp. Can't complain about that. The place is nice with a mix of seating indoors and out. They have a nice bar with a beautiful stone countertop. Looks like a full bar too. The downside is that the service wasn't great. Once again we go at a time when it was not busy and you wonder how they manage with a full house. The staff needs to be friendlier. I was never asked if I wanted a drink refill nor if we wanted dessert. I want to go back and try something else.

Pizza was pretty good

By KulFam2018 |

we were unable to get a table so we ate at the bar. bartender was accommodating with my non-alcoholic drink request and we ordered two delightful pizzas. a little pricey, but very good.

Fun Experience

By Mary L |

Best pizza around! The crust is thin and crusty, my favorite kind. Service was great- very attentive but not pushy. Very clean. Atmosphere is hip. Nice to be in a restaurant that the tables have some room.

Lovely Lunch!

By STLDood |

We enjoyed a wonderful pizza at Fritti. Their pizzas are very authentic and reminded us of one we had in Tuscany. Service was not the best. We ate outside since it was such a lovely day. They have two areas to sit outside. The one we did not choose was under a large red canopy that cast an eerie glow. Food was very good, moderately priced.

Great pizza, great service

By Vedran T |

Had a family dinner there. Pizzas were great, service was quick. All in all a really positive experience.

Good pizza

By MishaL7 |

This is one of older restaurants in Inman park, probable around 10 yrs old A lot of pizza varieties Italianstyle pizza Thin crust Liked the Sorrentino pizza, the pineapple one was decent too Bruschetta was very good as was the cheese/charcuterie plate Service was quick, Nice outside area

Delicious from Start to Finish

By EllieHarold |

Went with two friends for a casual farewell meal. Spent more for wine than food but it was all good! The Quatro Fromaggi pizza reminded me of Pisa. Good salads, banana pudding gelato. Comfortable atmosphere—just right.

Consistently Good

By sfinestone |

Much more than a local pizza place, Fritti serves excellent and unusual pizza, along with great calamari and many other fine appetizers and entrees. We have been going there for many years and the quality and service are consistently very good.

Great Pizza in Atlanta

By Jake B |

Really cool part of Atlanta... Great pizzas with fresh ingredients and great Neopolitan (thin) crust. Service was very good and the outdoor patio gave great people watching opportunities.

Trendy, but maybe circa 2005

By djsociety |

My wife, daughter and I ate here recently. We were seated immediately around 630 on a Sunday evening. The service was attentive and polite. The pizza was tasty and enjoyable. We enjoyed the arugula salads as well. We will be back, but not for the angled lines and loudish atmosphere.

Great, fun dinner!

By Dick S |

Dinner for six adults. Loved that they take reservations. We all had individual pizzas, shared two salads, and two appetizers (the calimari was very good...tender and lightly breaded). Good selection of beer and the 2 cocktails ordered were well made. Bill was $190.00 before tip, with 2 guests not drinking. You obviously can get by cheaper if you stick to just the individual pizzas (which run about $14 at most). The pizzas were very good (both white & red)...lots of fresh ingredients, thin crust. Don't go if you're expecting eveyday pepperoni pizza. Service was attentive and very helpful. Attractive interior...nice enough for date night, not your basic pizza joint. Good spaces between tables so no problems with conversations. We had a fun evening!

Great authentic pizza in a warehouse setting

By JMG44 |

We have eaten pizza over many years throughout Italy. If you want an authentic Italian pizza but find yourself in Atlanta, head to Fritti in Inman Park. One downside. Parking is always a problem. Limited lunch parking and no lunchtime valet service.

Not ordinary pizza

By Marianne H |

Fritti has great specialty pizzas, salads, and delicious Italian food. Great wine list and the atmosphere is relaxing with indoor and outdoor seating. You truly get the vibe of the neighborhood when the doors are open and you watch the people walking by and hear the buzz of the street. Great food, service, and location.

Excellent Neopolititan Style Pizza

By Michael B |

My wife and I stopped by here late-night while visiting Atlanta. Having tried another well-renowned pizzeria the day before, we were interested in seeing how another pizza place delivered on their promise of "authentic" Neopolitian pizza. And Fritti delivered! The restaurant is an upscale joint, with ample outdoor seating which looks fun when the weather permits (it did not on our visit). The interior has a cool vibe. Service was excellent. Matt was attentive and made excellent recommendations. My wife and I shared the pizza with carmelized onions, tomato sauce, and pancetta. The crust was perfect, and the flavor of this pizza was among the best we ever had. We also enjoyed the almond-crusted goat-cheese and greens as a salad/appetizer. As a whole, this place is excellent and well-worth a visit!

Probably the best Gluten free Pizza in the USA

By Margaret S |

This is a very buzzy and a very busy place. Lovely atmosphere and sociable. Great GF pizza which worked well as a take away. Definitely would go there again

One of the best long time staples in Inman Park

By Deniz M |

I have been going to Fritti for over a decade and it is still one of the best places all around. Fantastic pizzas (the Crudo e Rucola is a long-time favorite), the best Ceasar salad and lots of great appetizers or other dishes to share. Very good wine selection. Also, I used to often pick up lunch from Fritti during work, and love the paninis. Perfect place to enjoy a beautiful afternoon evening with friends and/or family. Great for dates, family, groups of friends large or small. There is seating indoors and out and a bar area.

Very good food, nice atmosphere

By framptonian |

Went to Fritti for lunch and was not disappointed with food and service. I had a pizza (Pancetta and Onion) which was very, very good. Nice thin crust with good flavor of its own, wonderful combination of toppings that provided just the right degree of depth and complexity without one ingredient overpowering the others. Pizza was not greasy, cheese was creamy and perfectly melted. My wife had a Panini that she truly enjoyed as well. She said she wished for a bit more complexity - perhaps by adding just a hint of Pesto - but overall, expressed her endorsement of the food. We also had a salad (Insalatona) which I thought was somewhat lacking in composition. You basically receive a few mixed greens surrounded by a hard-boiled egg, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, cotta ham, spicy salami, and smoked gouda. I'll say that ham, salami, and cheese were very good, but the plate felt more like a loose combination of antipasto items than a composition of ingredients that form a whole. Don't get me wrong, I liked the salad, but it didn't seem well thought through. I also want to point out that the chairs outside are not the most comfortable. I found sitting just a bit awkward and never truly relaxing. I don't think I would want to sit in them for an evening meal - unless it was really just a quick bite. Overall, this restaurant is quite nice with good food at a reasonable price. I have no objection to going back for another meal.

Wonderful Mediterranean Pizza!

By Sbueb |

Met with friends out on the patio and had a great meal. Service was only topped by the wonderful pizzas. Try their Quattro Stagioni - a wonderful blend of flavors. We capped the dinner with a Limocello (highly recommended) and their chocolate pudding - yum.

Best long-time restaurant of Inman Park

By Deniz M |

Great space, great location and best Italian pizzas, salads, and gelato! I used to live in Atlanta and every time I return, I make a visit to one of my favorite spots, Fritti. They continue to have the best wood-fired pizzas and the best Caesar salad. Also, they have excellent calamari and other appetizers. This time I also discovered that they have the best gelato I have tasted in the U.S. We tried the mango (literally tastes like a cold, sweet mango), and the pistachio which actually tastes like pistachios. I believe these are made for Fritti and its sister restaurants and they are not to be missed. The space is also nicely laid out and there is an open patin for nice days. Amidst all the new restaurants that open year after year in Inman Park, I'm happy to see that Fritti has been going strong for almost 20 years and has maintained it's incredible quality. It is authentically Italian, and it is a perfect spot for lunch and dinner, family, friends, work lunches, and dates.

Sempre buono !

Consistently good food. Good service. The menu could change a bit more often, but it is our neighborhood 'stand-by'.

Good pizza and apps--service lukewarm.

By EileenO123456 |

Took a friend for lunch here today. Young man who greeted us was very personable. The young woman, Melanie, never introduced herself or showed any personality. We ordered two app--aracini and the eggplant croquettes which were very good along with the spec pizza. The pizza was perfect--great crust and flavor. I am old school, as I expect the server to come back after 5 minutes of serving the food. It gives them the chance to fix the meal is something is wrong. That sit not happen. She hardly spoke to us, and then expected not to bring back change. I tip a minumum of 20% when the service is good. Great food--mediocre service.

Great food and atmosphere.

By RheumGuy |

Really tasty Italian food. Chef is the real deal with great food at reasonable price. Wood fired pizza is the best. Alcohol a bit pricey but in keeping with other area restaurants. It is in a cute neighborhood area, where parking could be a challenge. They have valet if needed. I'd suggest a reservation. If you like pizza - try it. Friendly waitress, who was very sure about most gluten related issues and asked the chef if there was a question.

Still yummy after all these years

By Paula C |

It has been years since my last visit here. It was worth the drive, for sure. The skewers (tuna and scallop) were wonderful. Wonderful pairing of fresh veggies with perfectly grilled seafoods.

Great place for lunch on Highland Ave.

By Jim M |

Fritti has refreshing salads and the panni I had for lunch was wonderful. Fritti has good wine list and the outdoor dining was great. As you sit on the patio, great to watch all the activity on this part of Highland Ave.

great pizza in a lively comfortable place

By Linda L |

Fritti has been around for a while, sharing a wall with its sister white table cloth restaurant Sotto. It still makes some of the most imaginative delicious pizza. We had one with capers and anchovies, our friends, the Margarita, great crust, just enough cheese. Their salads are big and delicious, and my husband loved the calamari. It was a crowded Sunday night, but service was efficient and friendly and although it was "lively" we could carry on a converstaion without shouting. Very fair prices, a nice wine list, we will be back!

Awesome lunch!

By ATLMonkeys |

One of our friend from Italy recommended this restaurant. They serve nice thin crust pizza. We ate “Funghi di Bosco” and “Ananas e Gorgonzola”. Both pizzas are awesome. We’ll definitely come again.

Okay food bad service

By Don H |

My wife and I stopped into this place after we saw the reviews. We did not have a very pleasant experience because we were given water and forgotten about for 45 minutes.

Last minute choice in neighborhood and glad we stopped

By Atlg8tor |

My girlfriend and I were in area for another appointment and it was getting late so we walked around looking for a dinner spot. We checked several nearby spots but walked into Fritti and were literally talking into staying by the manager who quickly made us feel at home and explained some menu items. We decided to stay and were seated quickly. Our server greeted us quickly and I ordered the mushroom app ( Funghi Fritti ) which not only was hot and tasty but came before my beer even arrived ( seemed like beverage service was a little slow ). We ordered the Veg pizza which also came out very fast, cut at the table and tasted great. My only negatives were that our server seemed to disappear, we asked for but he forgot red pepper and we watched him spend too much time talking to a nearby table while we wanted our check. Not horrible but far for awesome service. Would go back and see if it was an off night as the food was fast and good.

Good Pizza

By Naddia's Favorites |

I enjoyed the pizza very much, I am Italian so I am pleasantly surprised when I can find good pizza. I thought not much of a selection for appetizers and did not like having to sit in the veranda, even if closed and with heating for the winter but still, when we make a reservation we should be told that it is not in the main restaurant but in the veranda.

Great Pizza and Pasta

By Jenks94 |

Loved the selection of pizzas and the wine list was good if not scintilating, great staff and good value.

Delicious Pizza!

By kf17020 |

Fritti is a great place to go on a Friday or Saturday night. The restaurant has a nice vibe and is in a great location. We were very happy with the service and the food. We had a few appetizers, salads and pizzas and were happy with all of them. Even the prices were reasonable for the location. Would definitely recommend Fritti.

Friendly, delicious!

By SDnTheVille |

Calamari was one of the best ever...salads and drinks were fabulous. The pizzas were great and intrigued by what that other category on the menu was for... we also got a salmon skewer over spinach...delicious! Service was great! Fun not stuffy!

Best Pizza Place in Atlanta

If you love real Italian pizza this is the place to go! Great place, awesome atmosphere and authentic Italian owner! Will always have my pizza here in the future!

Good Italian in Fun Setting

This is a relaxed and fun place for all sorts of Italian goodies, especially pizza. Inside or outside, you'll have a great experience!

Outdoor patio and good pizza

By Olde_biL |

Fritti was recommended to us by the proprietor of the Bed and Breakfast to which we had checked earlier that afternoon. We had arrived from the Toronto area that was still in the grips of winter just the day before and being able to sit outside (in March) was a very attractive premise. Having spent much of the day in the car, we walked down from our B&B and took a short walk around Inman village and went as far as little 5-Points before returning to Fritti. We were happy there was space outside and in the sun. Service was attentive and we both selected pizzas. Mine was Stracchinella (with Stracchino cheese and sausage), my spouse elected to have a classic Marinara without cheese. Both pizzas arrived quickly, were well prepared, and we enjoyed the thin crust and excellent toppings. The pizzas both were more than either of were wanting to finish in a single sitting and Fritti was more than happy to give us a box to take away our remainders. We were happy to be outside just to be able to enjoy a warm and sunny evening. Also, we felt it would be less loud than being seated inside. Overall it was a good experience and we would return.

Pizza served by rude servers.

By CLockTravler |

The pizza is good but I have had a ruder waiter both times I had dinner at Fritti. You can get good pizza at too many places to put up with a rude waiter.

Wow... with an affogato on top!

By Christine V |

What a treat! The appetizers were delightful and calzone was out of this world. If you are off your diet, go the full nine and get the calzone fried. It's like a giant Italian wonton! Fresh gelato was made fabulous with espresso pour over; a fabulous affogato y'all!

Great spot!

By Scott W |

Visited for Sunday dinner and was greeted by friendly hostess, who lead us to the outside patio. Our server was wonderful and the service was very fast. Food was exceptional, we had a salad and pizza; it was a wonderful ending to a Sunday afternoon!

No Flavor Pizza

By Karin M |

Stopped by in the evening. The pizza came out quickly, so I gave them a couple stars for that. The worst pizza I ever had. No flavor. Rubbery. Never again.

Taste of Italy

By DAgg84 |

After traveling to Italy, finding a good pizza place is like a needle in a haystack. This place gets it right every time! The food is amazing, drinks fabulous, service excellent. Can be considered a bit pricey, but worth it.

yes for the pizza no for the olive oil

By runlolaLebanon |

We visited Fritti after reading so many good reviews about it. we recently moved to Atlanta and we are still trying to discover the good food spots that everyone raves about (hmmm...) First of all, a good italian restaurant should be serving and using excellent olive oil, and to my disapointement, the olive oil served at Fritti is below average. anyway, we ordered a vegetarian pizza and the bresaola with arigula as an appetizer well, we got 3 slices of bresaola with some tasteless olive oil and few leaves of arigula. it was a joke for a regular italian restaurant to be serving this tiny little portion for $10 . again, i could the olive oil made all the difference. The pizza was good, I can't really complain about it, but i like my pizza with more a bit more mozzarella di bufala. I think next time i will be heading to antico for the pizza :)

Neighborhood Find

By jr2017H2O |

We came to lunch here after visiting the Carter Museum. So this was just a spontaneous search on Google. Parking was very hard to find. This is in a residential neighborhood and at lunch time, shouldn't there be more parking if the average person is working? It was a rainy day so we didn't eat outside -- the big umbrella sure looked inviting though. We had a formaggi pizza and another one with spicy pepperoni, ham, pancetta and black olives. Formaggi was a bit plain but that's what I was looking for. And the crust on both was just delicious. Liquor was typically overpriced. The best was the gelato! They were not big servings at $4 each but it was worth it. Flavors change all the time. But the small wooden spoons gave off a woody flavor, they need to use something else.

Great B-Day Dinner!!

By Charo48 |

Last Saturday I had my Birthday Celebration with family and friends. It was 14 of us and it was awesome. They accommodated us immediately as they had set up 2 round tables but I really wanted all of us to be together. They were very diligent and got this set up for us. Service was great and food delicious. Soooo glad I picked this place. Love the area as well. Very nice and trendy.

Kind of Disappointing...

By bathtravel123 |

I had heard great things about Fritti's, so I was disappointed in our dining experience. The salad was very mediocre, as was the pizza. The service was attentive.

Wonderful pizza

By gmkathy2 |

First let me say my husband is from New Haven, CT home of the Pepi's Pizza phenomenon, by which he compares all other pizzas. After having pizza at Fritti's, in particular the one with the fried calamari, he now has a new best pizza place in this area. According to my husband Fritti's is right up there with Pepi's. Great thin crust, perfectly cooked, crispy and a generous size. What more can you ask for! We also had the sweet sausage and peppers, another great choice. Fritti's has a large and creative pizza menu to choose from We highly recommend this comfortable and well priced restaurant.

Nice patio great pizza.

By Cmcdonald86 |

Fritti has a great menu with some really tasty and interesting pizzas. They also have salad and other things as well. The patio are is a fun place to meet friends for lunch or dinner. Very casual and fun place.

Okay

By Casey K |

Pizza was okay. Kind of floppy. Few flies interrupted or meal.I felt like I was at a picnic swatting flies the whole time. Great service though. Really nice waitress.

My first choice for a pizza in Atlanta

By vgyt |

By far this place makes the best pizza in town. I am a bit conventional pizza person and like more authentic italian pizza, like the ones you get in Europe and not the ones more americanized in US. This place became my first choice for a pizza. They have quite many options on the menu. You can also get some other delicious options if you want to try something other than a pizza. The location by the way is also great, you can find one of the active crowds of Atlanta. The service is great as well. Highly recommend.

Great Lunch

By HintonTN |

Four of us met here for lunch and it was delicious. We all chose different salads -- and proteins on them -- the shrimp and chicken choices were both delicious. The salads are not huge by any means but aren't overpriced either. The pizzas smelled and looked delicious, will have to try that next time. Was still a little hungry after the salad so chose the scoop of gelato with a shot of espresso and it was fabulous. The gelato was pumpkin with chocolate chips. Enjoyed our meal.

I left confused as to how to rate this place. It was fine.

By adscram14 |

It was a very strange experience that left me trying to figure out what had happened... We came on Restaurant Week on a Tuesday night, so the place was fairly busy but nothing crazy. We were given a couple Restaurant Week menus and a normal menu; we both ordered off of the regular menu. Our first waitress was very pleasant, but when our new water came over, he was indifferent and cold the entire meal. We decided to split 2 pizzas--one a standardish pizza with added balsamic and another goat cheese and pesto pizza. We also split a caesar salad for an appetizer. The salad came out first--it was like 12 pieces of lettuce for $8. Literally. It was ridiculous how small it was and it was barely a sharable size. Thankfully it tasted okay, but I was shocked at how small the portion was. The pizzas came in at around $14 each and they feed an entire person. How a salad with no protein is $8 and a pizza starts at $12 makes no sense. The pizzas were both good but not great. The goat cheese and pesto pizza was relatively bland, but the other pizza with the balsamic was very good. The crust was relatively crispy, the sauce was good, and the toppings seemed pretty high quality. My major gripe was that they charged $2 for balsamic on the pizza when the waiter said they can customize it however you want. If that's the case, let us know about the upcharge. Overall, the food was fine, the setting is great, but the service was pretty bad. I wouldn't run back, but if someone wanted to go, I would go back.

Can't be topped ANYWHERE

By thebarefootnannybre |

This place will change how & where you get your next pizza. I have taken many friends to Fritti. They are never prepared for the most yummy pizza & I enjoy watching their expressions as they bite in to their first taste. Riccardo is usually running around, greeting, asking how the food is and just smiling and working hard. I moved to east Cobb from Atlanta but drive to Fritti at least 3 times a month..SO GOOD!!!!!!!!

Good

By P V |

Good rustic pizza and great mushrooms. Their drinks are also good. The area located is nice and safe.

Perfect change ofvpace

By Rosson45 |

Anyone who's been eating delivery-temperature pizza or even mass-produced chain pizza would benefit by a trip to Fritti. Large, very fresh nearly perfect Caesar salad, bruschetta with new mozzarella, slow roasted marinated tomatoes and basil, and a perfect artisanal pizza with cotton ham, salami, artichokes and black olives were a phenomenal late Saturday afternoon lunch. The server (Jacob) didn't flinch when we ordered a very inappropriate wine, which he split into two glasses for us. Service was top drawer, food was made with fresh ingredients and served promptly. A great place for different, real Italian pizza.

Creative and good

By Fritz |

Love coming here for pizza and the salads are great too. Thin crust pizza with lots of great options.

Love this Place

By Jimbo1607 |

The pizza here is amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive. This is a great casual or formal place to grab a bite. We often just sit at the bar.

Excellent pizza, cool neighborhood.

By marquezartstudio |

Great for catching up with friends, enjoying good drink and awesome brick oven pizza. It looks like some sort of converted garage, which gives it a unique appeal in my opinion. There is some partial outdoor space which can be converted to indoor with the gates pulled down. Good selection of beer and wine. Also reasonably priced.

Wet pizza with little taste

By dgoren |

Hate to write a bad review but I've been here twice now. Thin pizza that's isn't at all crispy, and actually wet. Had little flavor as well. I grew up in the NY area and feel that I know my pizza. An upscale atmosphere and imagination can only get you so far. The pizza has to actually taste good. I would pass on this one.

Great Pizza!!

By Malik O |

Great pizza!! I recommend it for all people fan of pizza, they have various options of pizzas, especially good for people who like thin pizzas!!

Good pizza but a little loud

By Richard R |

Family in town for a wedding. Pizzas and service were excellent unfortunately it was very hard to hear due to the noise in the restaurant. Good food but not easy to visit.

Great Pizza

This is a great spot for a fun group dinner. I LOVE their pizza, and they have good customer service. I had an issue with my meal that was taken care of no questions asked.

Real italian pizza!!!

By AndiDawn |

So glad I found you!!!! This is so good! The only real pizza I have had in states.... If you don't like this pizza...go eat chinese...because it is the real deal.... Love love love!

Great pizza in a unique atmosphere

By ziggy_camp |

Lots of great pizza options. Doors that can open up in good weather. Fun, loud atmosphere in a reclaimed warehouse looking building. What’s not to love. The service was good, the patrons were friendly and the neighborhood was fun. We truly enjoyed the evening.

Been there twice - not completely happy with either experience

By Ken Q |

I went with my family to Fritti twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. The first time I went was for dinner. The restaurant is nice, with the covered, open-air seating. We ordered the Antipasto Misto and calamari to begin, and two pizzas: the Marinara and the Maialona. The food was okay, but the wait staff was very slow when we asked for more olive oil and for drink refills. It wasn't overcrowded so there shouldn't have been a reason for the slow service. The second time we went, it was at 1:30 pm for lunch. The waitress seemed disinterested in attending to us. We placed the same order as above, without the Antipasto Misto. There were five tables with people, and she concentrated on two tables. We finally got out of there at 3:20, and it's not that we ate slow or were slow to pay our tab. In my experience, the food is just okay and the service is lacking.

Good

By Luca B |

Good pizza margherita. Fresh tomato and tasty mozzarella cheese. Well cooked pizza. Efficient service. Wine list very complete of Italian wine. Nice Menabrea beer from IT.

Food was amazing!

By Eileen W |

This was my first time to Fritti and I LOVED it! Wonderful valet parking (free!), open, comfortable seating and really wonderful waitress who made great recommendations when asked for pizza preferences, wine preferences, etc. We had the pizza with basil leaves, mozzarella (smoked and regular) -- and it was amazing. I am hungry just writing this review! My only complaint was we were inundated with fruit flies at our table. We were in a quiet corner, at the end of a long bench area - and the fruit flies were in our face, our drinks (my water twice) before we finally asked to sit elsewhere... we were seated quickly in another table and all was fine. **Suggestion to server if this were to occur again - please comp 10% or a dessert or something... if the food and wine were not so incredible - the fruit flies would have been a way bigger issue for us. Will eat here again for sure!

Lovely Italian setting

By Traveling Coach |

I recently had lunch with long time and dear friends. Since they can walk to Fritti they suggested it as it is their favorite restaurant. I can see why. While the main menu is Neopolitan-style pizza there are some delightful (if limited) offerings. I had a lovely salad and then enjoyed seared tuna on a skewer. over a bed of tapenade. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Low key and funky, this restaurant offers excellent food, a nice wine list and authentic Italian fare. Try it next time you are in the heart of Atlanta. .

Great Pizza!! Delicious!!

By KB839 |

We decided to eat at Fritti's after some great reviews. We had a reservation for 8:45pm and arrived 20 minutes early. It was a Friday night and very busy. The hostess kept telling us it was going to be a few more minutes and we ended up having to wait until 9:30pm for our table. When we were seated our table received a free calamari appetizer for the inconvenience. We really appreciated that! Now the food...it was amazing!! It was well worth the wait. We ordered the Mista & Rucola salads and it was delicious. We also ordered the Maialona pizza which was great. We did not get dessert but next time we will try it. We parked at the valet and they were very nice as well. We will definitely be back!!

Great authentic, thin crust pizza in the Italian style

By JMG44 |

Always busy with a vibrant crowd enjoying outside dining under cover. The pizzas are authentic, well cooked with fresh and delicious toppings. If you don't like olive oil poured on the pizza, just ask for no oil. I have never had a disappointing pizza.

Closest to Italian Pizza in Atlanta

By Rebecca L |

After our recent trip to Italy, we've been searching for similar tasting Italian pizza in Atlanta. Fritti is that place for us. The thin crust Robiola e Pesto pizza I ordered was amazing. My husband's pizza was delicious as well. The prices are comparable to what we paid across Italy (10-12 Euros) and the portions were large enough to take some home.

Best pizza ever

By MRJ0558 |

This was my first time at Frittas and it won't be my last. The service and food very good. I ordered Caesar salad and sausage pizza. Very yummy. The crust was devious and fresh ingredients topped it.

Best pizza

By Maurizio c |

Fritti makes the best pizza like in Napoli and the pizza cook is not even Neapolitan. Tomatoes sauce was fresh, good mozzarella and fresh basil. Bravo.

Good food, average ambience

By Traveler617514 |

It was pretty good, but not the best in Atlanta for that price range. The staff was nice, but they were late to seat us for our reservation and the tables were packed in really tight.

High priced mediocre

By Yaarit A. S |

We walked to Krog Street Market on the beltline after we ate lunch at Fritti and we were so sad that we had eaten - every place in the market looked better than Fritti. The salAds were fine in fairness Suggest you look elsewhere if you want a delicious meal

Poor service detracted from decent food

By TreeloverAtlanta |

We were a small group eating early on a Saturday evening. The food was delivered cold in a disorganised fashion and not as it was ordered. We did not have a consistent server. The bill included two items that we never ordered resulting in an overcharge of $25. Most of the staff was not wearing masks, including the greeters.

Great food !

By PriscillaDiNatale |

We love this restaurant. The place is cool & the wine is good & the calamari is perfect, the salads crisp & tasty , the pizzas are all great , The Pizza is the best, I have never heard anyone that ever had a less than perfect tasty meal & said this place is a favorite. Both hip and comfortable, Fritti provides a most authentic Italian dining experience. Newly certified by the Verace Pizza Napoletana Association in Naples, Italy; Fritti features 26 varieties of Neapolitan pizzas prepared in hand-crafted wood-burning ovens. Fritti also offers a variety of Tuscan style wood roasted meats, great fried appetizers and refreshing salads.& a Desert PIZZA, we got the Chocolate hazelnut pizza. YUMMY & SO HOT & DELICIOUS FOOD.

Great food in a NOISY atmosphere

By Mountaineer4ever |

I'd love to give Fritti's a 5, but the warehouse setting doesn't contribute to the ambiance for fine dining... Although its food certainly does. My wife and I dine at Fritti's maybe 4 times a year. In my opinion they have the best pizza in Atlanta. But the bare brick and open ceiling means that I can barely hear the server, never mind have a conversation with my wife .

Good lunch, great location

By snrfaust |

Met friends here for lunch the other day what a great place to eat, just off the Eastside Beltline Trail in the Inman Park area of Atlanta. We had the Veggie Pizza for lunch which was good sized for 2 people to enjoy, good amount of toppings, great crust. Service was excellent as our server knew what he was doing. The whole atmosphere works at this restaurant from its outside seating to it prime location. Since we are visitors we ere pleased that we found this location for one of our lunches

Eh....not all that

By Shena |

Calamari was cooked very well, but was lacking in flavor. Shared a pizza with my husband and the flavor was okay but the pizza itself was rather doughy. Drinks were very weak... But the server was very attentive and helpful. Cute place but I don't think we will be back. Better food elsewhere.

Taste of Joy!

By Lil K |

This was our first time to this Italian restaurant. We ordered the calamari and bruschetta for appetizer. The calamari was amazingly fresh soft with just the right crispy crunch. It came with the in house marinara which was on point. The bruschetta came on freshly baked Italian bread with lil slices of mozzarella. So delicious! Afterwards we ordered a pizza which was absolutely without a doubt the best pizza I have had ever here in Atlanta. Completely out of this world delicious. All I have to say is this is a taste of joy!

Best pizza in town

By suede2 |

The selection of pizzas is amazing, all made fresh in a brick oven, a light and thin dough, with just the right amount of cheese and topping. And those are cheap, too (you have to be really hungry to finish one alone, and they are about $13 each). In the evenings when Sotto Sotto is open, they serve the deserts from the sister-restaurant- don't forget to order the amazing chocolate soup!!

Very good gluten free pizza

By Nina Zee |

My husband and I went here for dinner last Friday after a tour of Old 4th Distillery. We walked over via the BeltLine which was easy and pretty much a straight shot. I made reservations online, which was probably a good idea because the place was packed. The salads were huge and the gluten free pizza was very good. The pizza was so big we ended up taking 1/2 of it home and having leftovers for lunch (2 of us could have eaten one but it is fine because we both got what we wanted). A great place to go for families! There is a lot of indoor seating but also outdoor seating available.

The food was great; the service wasn't.

By Sean M |

We had a reservation for 7.30 on a Saturday night but the table wasn't ready until 7.50. In the meantime, wherever we stood we were constantly jostled because there was no where to wait. There is a small bar but it was packed and there was no room for us. When we were finally seated, we had plenty of time to look over the menu three or four times and then translate it into a couple of different European languages. When the server finally arrived, he took our drink and appetizer order and then nothing arrived for 20 minutes. Eventually, the appetizers arrived but the drinks did not. Unfortunately we had no silverware on the table and it took another 10 minutes for the drinks and silverware to arrive. Mind you, the drink order was almost entirely correct, so perhaps I shouldn't be too harsh. The table next to us arrived 10 minutes later than we did but had their drinks and appetizers well before us; had I worn a revealing, tight red dress perhaps our table would have had the same level of service but I doubt it - mainly because I am male. The broschetta was very good. The calamari was fine. All of the pizzas we had were excellent. The atmosphere was very loud and it's not a great place to go if you would actually like to talk to the other people at your table - although perhaps it would be better on a week night. All in all, I am in no hurry to go back, despite the quality of the food.

Best Gourmet Pizza in Town

By Kristin Wingfield |

Service is always excellent. Ive tried every single pizza and have never been disappointed. One bite and you'll think you're in Italy. Great cocktails as well

awesome pizza

By Jeancarusog |

great food however they were under staffed. Our server Lamont had to do the hustle and we felt underserved but knew he was doing his best. We were there yesterday around 2:00 so would have given 5 stars if the staffing was better. the server was great given the circumstances...... AND I forgot my purse only to find out the server had already secured it in their safe so I didn't have to turn around and drive 45 minutes in the pouring rain to go get my purse. I am picking it up today on the way back from an airport run confident that it will be taken care of. So five stars on the honesty factor. THANK YOU Lamont for your good service under stressful conditions and mostly for your honesty. I have to agree with the reviewers from New Haven Ct. which is where I am from also that Pepi's is the standard of pizza judgement. Since these two pizza's are so different it would be very hard to say which one is better. Both are at the top of the chain! Sincerely, Jean

Great pizza - creative menu

By jackandsuetravel |

Really fresh - creative choices, good prices, fun sounding dessert combinations although we ware too full to try them.

Great Dinner before the Variety Playhouse, would return

By laniergoes |

3 of us had a reservation on Saturday before a show at the Variety nearby. We had wine and beer, salads, and a great thin crust pizza which they made half and half for us. One friend had the tuna salad and loved it, the other had the arugula, and gave it thumbs up. My ceasar salad was fresh, generous portion, and not drowned in dressing but I found the dressing bland. We walked to the Variety playhouse from here and were fine. The walk is short and well lit. Enjoyed our dinner.

Awesome Pizza, Very Loud

By Gina C |

The pizza was awesome. We ordered three different kinds plus the rice balls and calamari for appetizers. Everything was delicious. The only complaint was that it was super loud in the restaurant so very hard to hear the people at our table or even our server. Plus we made reservations and they were about a half hour late for our reservations.

Pizza for the pizza lover

By Zenna W |

If you love pizza, Fritti is your place. They have a variety of gourmet pizza options. They are also very flexible with substitutions / changes. I typically only eat pizza at Antico Pizza but I must say that this place as earned my vote as well.

Nothing special

By lvet0travel |

We just had dinner here. Very small cramped bar with good bartenders. Service was ok but the pizza was terrible. Soggy and no taste. Would not go back. M

Fritti and Sotto Sotto

By elishaga |

Little known fact...you can order from either menu when you are at either restaurant! I love both. We live in the northern suburbs and come all the way down just for the pizza ...and risotto!

The Best?

By Steve B |

If this pizza is Atlanta's best, then Atlanta is pizza-deprived. Service was fine. Pizza was lousy. Maybe it's the thin crust.

Found this gem by accident

By Ronald S |

We were on our way to a local live theater and ran into a Halloween parade which blocked the street we needed to be on so off we drove through detours and came upon Fritti and decided that this was our ordained dinner spot. Not withstanding the parking situation, (free valet parking in a very crowded lot), we were more than pleasantly surprised at the level of service, excellent food preparation, (open kitchen), attentive staff and more than reasonable pricing. The wood fired pizza oven produced a crisp, thin crust pie and the choices on the menu were very interesting and even though the restaurant was packed, we were able to ask for a bit of substitution regarding toppings. We are constantly amazed over our 30 years in the Atlanta area to find newly discovered eateries that are outstanding in every way. Fritti is certainly our new favorite.

Neat Place

By JFortMyers |

We ate at Fritti Friday evening, November 28, 2014. Just east of downtown, we found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and weren't steered wrong. It is a casual, urban upscale, full bar, pizza joint with a neat loft type of feel. There is also outdoor seating, but it was too cool to use. The pizzas are 12", wood fired thin crust. There are many choices, but we shared the artichoke black olive one. It was excellent. We also had a wonderful ceasar salad which was ample to share. Our server was excellent and the food delivered timely. Valet parking is free, close by and the best option due to limited parking. We will return.

An Excellent Lunch

By Jjs57 |

We at at Fritti last week for lunch. We started with the Calamari, which was excellent. We then moved to salads and pizza, which were both excellent as well. Very nice casual place in a hip part of Atlanta. Their sister restaurant next door, Sotto Sotto is also excellent, but is not open for lunch on Saturday.

Great pizza, atmosphere, and value

By Lisa C |

Just went to this restaurant for the first time and loved it. Located in the beautiful Inman Park neighborhood, we were fortunate enough so sit on the patio. The pizza we had was delicious and well priced. All the pizza were between $10 - $15 and definitely large enough to share. Wine was also reasonably priced about $7 - $9 per glass. Easy to have a lovely dinner for two for around $30. Also easy to spend a little bit more and enjoy the calamari and/or dessert :) This is also a great place for people who have more picky eaters with them as they have pizzas ranging from Marinara to a pizza piled high with seafood. A lovely experience to be enjoyed by all!

We ordered cocktails and two of the gourmet pizzas for three of us, they were outstanding. We sat outside under the canopy and enjoyed the warm weather. Service was impeccable. I've rated a four because it was a bit pricey for pizza.

Good Pizza Poor Service

Never been to a restaurant that charges for bread. When I asked the server about it he said "we not that type of restaurant." Won't return to that 'type' of restaurant.

Excellent service and food

Very crowded but quick to be seated. The staff was very engaging and took time to go over some menu items. Food came soon and was fantastic. Everyone had a great time.

What's not to like? You'd swear you were in Florence eating really great pizza. Freshest ingredients, thin crust pizza baked in their awesome ovens. Good drinks, adequate wine and beer list. Variety of pizzas from vegetarian to fabulous funghi di bosco. Attentive service. Great people watching location in Inman Park and the convenience of free valet parking across the street (which you will need). A favorite in Atlanta.

Masterful first class relaxed food and service

Everything about this place is terrific, notably the five-star food presented in its very relaxed style. We've had their salads and steaks and can't want to go back on our next trip to Atlanta.

Favorite Italian place in Atlanta. Mangi bene!

Love this place. Always excellent. The pizzas are just amazing. The arancini and marinara are so authentic. I've been blessed to have visited Italy several times and the wood burning pizza oven reminds me of Umbria. Migliore cibo Italiano a Atlanta! Mangi bene!

The best Pizza in the Southeast

By Formula One F |

The pizza here is better than some of the so called best sites in New York. The toppings are incredible and the crust of the pizza is like heaven. It's a must visit if you're in Atlanta.

Great Salad

By TravelingFloridaGirl |

Not much of a pizza fan, but enjoyed the Marinara slice as it is made without cheese. The best part of my meal was the arugula salad with goat cheese. Both dishes was tasty with fresh ingredients. Good service, nice local eatery in an active neighborhood. Worth a visit.

Best Italian Style Pizza

Hands down, the best Italian Pizza. We had the Quattro Formaggi with procutto and pancetta, awesome! Flat crust, correct meats, and proportion of cheese to pizza slice perfect.

Food here is always amazing

I feel like this place is somewhat overlooked due to a questionable lack of parking in the area. However it is worth a walk or a cheap cab fare if you want delicious food and exceptional service. I have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions weather for a quick casual lunch, a few glasses of wine at the bar, pizza, or a romantic date. The patio is such a great location for enjoying the Georgia weather and getting a healthy taste of people watching. The service staff is always extremely polite helpful and patient. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Inman Park area or if you are a tourist who wants to hang out with the locals.

Excellent service, bland food

Met with my son on Thursday for lunch. The specialty is pizza, so I ordered a vegetarian pizza. Probably one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. The crust seemed uncooked, the taste was bland and it just was not good. The place is nice, the service was excellent and he got a big tip. Restroom was clean.

Had a great lunch there a few days ago

Shared Calamari and a pizza and both were great. The only very minor complaint I have is they only had one domestic beer (Miller) and they were out of it. At my age I haven't developed a taste for craft beers. Kent

The calamari was very good and the arugula w/fried goat cheese was fresh and delicious. The pizza crust was good, thin and light.

Great Pizza and nice staff!

I've been there with my wife and a friend. we all ordered pizza and Italien beer. the pizza was the best I ate so far in the US. they made it Italian style and also the topings and cheese was delicious. Staff was nice and helpful. They were also patient as we had a lot of questions. I could recommand that place for having a good pizza :)

Wonderful pizza

A great bistro atmosphere with authentic Italian thin crust pizza. Always get the salmon filet and a pizza to share- the marinara is just tomato sauce and garlic- but to die for.

Fast, Friendly Service, Nice Valet, Fun Atmosphere, Excellent Pizza!!!

I had no reservations and called to see if there was a chance to go. The person who answered the phone was extremely friendly and said yes. When I arrived the free valet parking was full but the employees were diligent and fast. It worked very well. I entered the restaurant and was quickly seated. Maggie, the server, was extremely friendly and made very good recommendations. She also offered great service. She was all the time checking her customers, refilling sodas, removing plates, etc. She exceeded my expectations in terms of service. I ordered the Calamari as an appetizer and it was quickly brought to the table. It was crispy and very good. Then I ordered the Speck e Rucola pizza. Wow, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Fresh, delicious, a masterpiece. I can certainly recommend you this place. I will come back the next time I'll be in town!

Friday night visit with reservations. Sat on patio with great view of lively street scene. Great beer selections and many pizza choices. Pizzas are unique and very tasty. Located in a very interesting neighborhood of Atlanta.

Authentic Italian pizzas, great atmosphere

I love Fritti, been going for years! The pizzas are wonderful... don't be expecting Papa Johns though, these are gourmet pies. Very chewy crust, and the toppings are all first class. A friend of mine was here and saw Chef Ramsey from the Food Network eating here a couple years ago. Very crowded on the weekend, so get there early if you want a quieter experience. I believe they serve lunch as well. Highly recommended.
