The ramen was adequate but not quite hot, there was no shichimi to be found. The takoyaki was late, I had to remind them and it wasn’t garnished properly, no kewpie mayo, no bonito flakes. Also, I know it’s an airport, but $19 for a pot of regular hot sake? They could do better. The takeaway is the charsu pork was very good.

PHL doesn’t have a lot of great food outlets. Gachi May be one of the better ones. Good sushi, healthy Bento boxes and quick friendly service.

Offer various styles of American breakfast at airport prices, but with so few options, it was my best choice. Large portion size that tastes decent. Your average breakfast is what I received.

I paid for 2 pre made sushi rolls from the case. Was charged $20.52 according to my receipt. On my bank statement, $25.52 was actually charged to my account. They are dishonest!!! They tipped themselves on my dime! Beware and check and double check what they charge!!!

Service is quick and friendly. It is one of the few places open at 5:00 am and there is a lot of nearby seating. The coffee and Danish were pretty ordinary, but at that hour I could not be picky.

I had an early flight leaving from gate A18. My connection ran late, so I only had a few minutes to grab something for breakfast before they started boarding my flight. They have pre-made sushi and salads as well as make-to-order options. Prices were in line with airport food. Friendly service.

Surprising good seafood at the airport. I am glad to find this healthy food option while traveling. Service was very nice and helpful.

I don’t know how this place gets such good reviews. My daughter and I each got a bowl of chicken teriyaki. They were both extremely dry and flavorless. There was minimal teriyaki sauce only on the top of the rice and chicken. $10 each too! Total ripoff, stereotypical airport food :(

Staff was very welcoming and answered questions about the prepared entrees near the cash register. Egg sandwiches on bagel or croissant were there along with cooked warm pasta and chicken in a sauce. This sushi and noodle restaurant freshly prepared a rice noodle and chicken entree for me and served it at the sushi counter where I was already seated. My late brunch/early lunch was delicious, warm and hit the spot. A welcome change to the traditional breakfast airport fare. A handicap counter section is available. The height will work for a wheelchair occupant but is not deep enough for the chair to slide under but plenty of room alongside at the right counter height.

Ordered the deluxe poke bowl and it was indeed very refreshing ! Suitable for a quick meal while waiting 👌

Fast and delicious at the gate. Loved the vegetarian ramen. Couldnt have been better. Service great. Took the edge off flying

AA Terminal A restaurant. What superior food and great customer service. They took time تو speak تو customers so the order was right. I had pork gyoza to start followed by A recommendation of imperial roll sushi. What fantastic food from these guys and can I say to good for just an airport

My wife and I ate lunch here while waiting for a flight from Philadelphia International Airport. The food was quite good, and the service was excellent. At $30 for two it was decidedly overpriced, bringing back memories when all airport food was priced like that.

I had the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box at Gachi before my flight home. Delicious and hearty! Also, one of the best miso soups I’ve had is included!

Nothing good or healthy about it. Ordered sweet & sour chicken. Over fried chicken parts were burnt. Sweet & sour sauce was dumped on middle of bowl. Rice was good. Dish was BLAND. Go somewhere else!

In a stop over to DC after getting off a 6hr flight from Europe, we stopped for a healthy oriental salad bowl. It cost me $12 and I had to throw it out. there were 5 pieces of small dried out chicken that tasted like cardboard. The rest of the bowl consisted of wilted lettuce some that the water at the bottom was brown. The shredded carrots had the white stuff that appears after carrots have been left out for a long time. The cucumbers were soggy.

We ordered the $19 beef bowl at the Philadelphia airport. The cucumbers in it were spoiled, slimy, fermented. I let the asian lady who took my order know and she said that's not her fault and refused to make another one. She then said, nobody gets free food so if I want another (fresh) one, I have to pay for it. Horrible customer service after serving spoiled food. I should've known after reading reviews on other sites. Do not eat here, lots of other choices at that airport.

Needed a meal prior to an international flight. Grabbed something to go and ended up sitting and eating. Should have sat down and order off the menu. Prices were not outrageous for an airport. Staff very friendly.

This Terminal E options offers a limited selection of breakfast items. My muffin was ok, and so too was the coffee. The most impressive thing is that it was open prior to 4:30 am.

I stopped in this place watching the chef work the fish. the care he puts on the dish he brought me paid off for the wait, quality fish, fresh. I write the review in English as it is located in an airport. when i go back to philadelphia i will definitely stay there again. very friendly staff and attentive to customer needs I recommend.

When you are in the middle of long journey, nothing better than a warm plate of food. It was a little expensive for a food, but totally worth it.

Amazing experience. Friendly fast service. Great quality and presentation. Excellent fresh tasty sushi. Airport restaurant but gourmet experience!

The coffee and pastries are pretty average, but breakfast options are few at 5:00 am and Gaichi is open then. There is a large seating area nearby too.

My bowl of ramen was good. I did not get a chance to try their sushi. The staff was truly wonderful: fast, courteous, helpful, attentive; all the thing you would want in an airport location. If you are flying out of PHL, definitely consider GACHI for a quick, rich and satisfying meal.

The Good: the staff was very friendly The Bad: first is is very expensive for what you get. I ordered the shrimp yakisoba and it was simply not good. The “shrimp” did not look or taste like shrimp. When I asked the staff about it they confirmed it was shrimp, but I would beg to differ.

Stay well clear, they took over $70 from my card for $19 portion of noodle, they gave them selves $51.63 tip. Tried to call them no answer, tried to complain through airport and still no reply. If you have to use them check your receipt!

I’ve been to Philly airport a dozen of times and I always enjoyed having a meal while waiting for my flight. As I’m a big sushi lover (and a foodie, more in general), it happened to stumble upon this place and it was an amazing discovery. I ordered sashimi and a maki roll. Sashimi slices were large and they tasted really fresh same as the ginger slices which came with it. The maki role was also amazing as I was able to taste all the ingredients. Finally, for what matters, also the presentation of the dishes was done very well.

Who would’ve expected such high quality in an Philly airport kiosk eatery? VERY fresh salmon for my salmon teriyaki bowl, with fluffy rice, a very fresh crisp salad all in an attractive bowl. My husband’s chicken teriyaki bowl was just as fresh. At a price I’d expect to pay OUTSIDE the airport in San Jose where I live.

This little spot in the Terminal E at Philadelphia International Airport offers sit down in a few seats, and take away and sit down dining for sushi and hot bowls. Service is quick. I was hesitant to try airport sushi, and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh our sushis and sashimi was, with a few packets of soy sauce and fresh ginger slices. The offerings are few but range from sushi to salads to bowls and soup. I would definitely try airport sushi HERE again. Wall menus are dark background with white letters

Gachi is located near the international gates in the American terminal. It’s principal advantages are ample seating and fairly quick service, unlike a very crowded Dunkin Donuts nearby. My coffee and pastry were pretty ordinary, but I was not expecting much of a sushi restaurant.

In an airport that has been starving for some decent food for years, Gachi is a breath of fresh air! Ramen Noodle bowl, a wakame salad were great.

Stopped at Gachi during our layover. We were surprises by how delicious the airport ramen was! Staff was cheerful and friendly. Highly recommend!
The art of teriyaki without teriyaki
Ordered the chicken teriyaki, and it was awful, it was plain chicken with a tiny bit of teriyaki sauce on it. The worst attempt I’ve ever seen for a teriyaki. If the owners or managers are reading this, for gods sake try the food you are making, if it had more sauce on this dish it might have been semi good, sort it out
