By NitroDog |

My wife and I dined here for Champagne Brunch. Great omelet station. They really need to change this buffet up a bit. Same food every weekend. Main Street Station does not only cater to tourists, many "locals" visit as well. Switch around the choices. The food and service was very good on this visit. Surprise me with a few new food options on my next visit. I will return. Photos added.

Great food w/large selection

By Laura Mc |

This was such a good breakfast. A very large selection of food. Only downside is South Point Casino is approximately 4 miles off the strip. So a bit inconvenient. However definitely worth the trip!

Great Thanksgiving Choice

By BerlinG-ParisF |

I found this place on line by searching a local TV station website I found on an Internet search. Compared to those on the strip, this seemed like a bargain. I checked TripAdvisor and saw decent reviews. For less than half and even more than some places, this was $31 a person for a buffet that included not only turkey but prime rib and more. Their sides were a little limited but otherwise, no issues with the food. We arrived about 11:20 (opened at 11) and found a line stretching around the casino floor and wondered if we would be seated by 3 o'clock. It took 80 minutes altogether to be seated. (about an hour to get to the cash register and another 20 minutes to be seated). I was annoyed with the high status people who walked in and straight to the pay point and then expected to be seated immediately. They were told they could skip the line but still had to wait with us peons to be seated but just stood there and got seated anyway! I didn't tip when paying because I wanted to wait and see how the service was. We had a great lady taking care of us so I gave her a cash tip near the end of our meal. She brought us tea and water and checked on us often. There was a lot of food. I had 2 pieces of prime rib, medium to medium rare, although I prefer mine still mooing. The turkey was so moist and tender. I had lots of turkey on my 2 plates. I love turkey skin and timed it just right on each trip so I got some good, tasty, yummy skin. The carver said he was saving it for me!!! I had mashed potatoes and some delicious rosemary stuffing. Vegetables were limited (the only shortfall) but I had some corn from the Mexican section. They had several ethnic areas including Mexican, Chinese, etc. I didn't see the peel and eat shrimp until we were leaving, but that is so messy anyway. The turkey gravy was great over the potatoes, turkey, and dressing. Yummy! For dessert, they had many "no sugar added" choices. I had 4 desserts: cream pie, cherry pie, a berry pie, and carrot cake. Again, yummy!!! Despite the 80 minutes to be seated, I think we made the best choice in Vegas for Thanksgiving lunch. The character of Main Street Station with its history only added to the experience. If I return to Vegas, I would try the lunch buffet here. We made the right choice for Thanksgiving 2021!!!

Prime Rib buffet Tuesday

By JOHN S |

Very good food with many options. Good (Vegas) price for Tuesday buffet with prime Rib. Everyone in our party was happy and full.

Not too shabby and a great buffet, as advertised!

By Mike M |

Started up front at the cashier and host desk, and was pleased they were upbeat and friendly to all!!! Food selections were plentiful at breakfast, and enjoyed the prep cook’s positivity and attention to the customer. Wide range of selections, with no disappointments at all. Typical Las Vegas buffet, but the employees and good atmosphere makes dining there enjoyable. Will definitely try it again!

Love the old fashioned look

By Judith D |

Food is excellent-try everything! You can watch them prepare your steak. Food is refreshed frequently-none of it looks dry or old. It's crowded on Sundays for champagne brunch.

las vegas visit

By jerrypayne63 |

excellent breakfast buffet for the price, go there when in vegas, right next to freemont street, very clean, good service and super reasonable

First visit

By cityboy_nz |

Got a 2 for 1 voucher for dinner buffet, was not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. Loved the decor, reminded me of New Orleans. Seated quickly and server took our drink order and we went exploring. Highlights were the oxtail stew, Kailua pork, fried chicken, brisket being freshly cut, macaroni cheese with smoked sausage. Potato salad was nice too. Not an overly large dessert bar but ok for me. Drinks were refilled without being asked.

Good buffet

By douglas r |

We ate there 3 times. Once for each meal. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. I like the morning buffet the best. $1 less if you have a players card. Speciality night are more.

A decent buffet at a good price

By PhlegmMaster |

We ate here during our visit to the Fremont Experience. Overall, the food quality was up to snuff, although there were a few items that looked as if they should have been disposed of. We ate more than enough!

really good breakfast buffet

By Mark F |

This is an especially good breakfast buffet for downtown Las Vegas. The buffet has a lot of choices and for $12 weekdays is a good bargain. All the people working there are friendly My friends and I like staying here because they brew their own beer and have some very good choices.

Cheap eats and good food

By Angela_Fok |

Everything is up to par. Been there almost every day during my 5 days visit to downtown Vegas. Drinks included, not acholol Breakfast Egg station, sausages, ham, fruits, etc Good food and no lineup Lunch and dinner Good food, icecream machine, salad bar with spinach, desserts, Asian station, mexican and American station. Highly recommended as price is so reasonable. Don't forget to get the B connect card for a dollar off

Garden Court BRUNCH.

By Cruiser692940 |

The brunch is nothing to brag about. To expensive for the food items. IT went down hill since my last visit. Las Vegas in general has changed. Lower your prices.

Gone are their golden days. Dried out meats and $8+ parking.

By D L |

But you can get your parking ticket validated for 4 hours if you eat here. Just a good place to go to fill one's belly but nothing more. The brisket was dried out and their pork chops even worse. They use to have the best fried chicken but now that is over cooked and dried out. New cook? The three Filipinos dishes did not look appetizing but lots of Filipino casino workers. The mushrooms were left in their liquid way too long and started to smell. They need to drain the liquid. Only great dish was the sweet and sour chicken made with large pieces of white meat. Collar greens and sweet potatoes great. Lunch use to always feature Ham Hocks - a popular German dish and served with Black Eye Peas which is a Southern and African American dish. That's the only reason why I go there but not it's offered just whenever. You now have to call in to see if it will be made available or not. Dinners are different because instead of the standard fare, they do have "theme nights". It wasn't worth the car trip from the Strip down to Main Street. And if I didn't eat there, the parking fees which tart at $8.

Easter Sunday Brunch was great this year! I hope a manager reads this review!

By SUE M |

We have a group of four women that have come to Vegas for over 40 years. Main Street Station buffet has been our traditional Easter dinner. Last year was not good, we almost chose to go elsewhere this Easter. I’m so glad we gave it one more try before breaking our tradition. Our Garden Court buffet was excellent today! We saw items that were not on previous year’s buffets. Everything was fresh and tasted very good. We didn’t know who to make this compliment to this year. The food was noticeably different from last year and very good. We’re glad the Garden Court is back to being a great downtown Vegas buffet. It was clean, the server was excellent and the buffet station attendants were polite and hard working. There’s something for everyone here! Breakfast foods, Mexican, Asian, Hawaiian, pizza, chicken, prime rib, ham, turkey, salads, ice cream, pies, cakes, cookies and so much more. Sunday, 3/31/24.

YES, IT'S MORE EXPENSIVE (What Isn't)?

By Richard M |

The breakfast and dinner buffets have been combined into one Brunch Buffet which is pretty much the same as the Weekend Brunch use to be. Price is higher, but that's no surprise these days. We were there at 10:00 AM; good presentation; nothing looked 'old'. The only change seemed to be the elimination of both caramel and butterscotch for the ice cream. Good Feed

Average buffet – 2.75 out of 5 rating

By Bottomshelfhockey |

The Garden Court buffet is located in the Main Street Station Casino just off the Old Strip. We came here on a late Tuesday evening after hiking and shopping and the restaurant was not too busy. Apparently this was prime rib and scampi night which meant we paid $17.99 per person otherwise dinner is $14.99 and even less if you have their reward card. There are numerous food stations including the following: • Sausage and prime rib • Salads • Asian – limited to about 4 or 5 items including pork guisantes, chow mein, spicy pork and spring rolls • American – including stuffing and mixed vegetables, baked tilapia, baked salmon • Mexican – including nachos, chicken taquitos, refried beans, Spanish rice, cheese enchiladas • Pasta and pizza - pre-made • Desserts – not much of a selection as it was near closing time These are some of the dishes that were available or I ate: • Kailua pork was bland • Mashed potatoes - pass • Pork ribs were okay • Broccoli was over cooked • Spicy pork – a bit dry and just average tasting • Roast beef – pre-cut and didn’t look appetizing. See photo. • Pizza and pasta were pre-made; not made to order • Shrimp scampi was bland • Stir fry green beans was overcooked • Chow mein was average • Cabbage rolls were okay. The general consensus was they were good • Spring rolls were okay • Soft serve ice cream See photos of most of the food I ate. Ratings breakdown • Price vis-à-vis portion size – good for all you can eat. Selection of dishes is okay. Nothing outstanding. Non-alcoholic beverages are included. We paid $38.95 for 2, taxes included. ($17.99 per person) See photos. • Quality and taste – didn’t go in with much expectations but the buffet did its job. Also, the food sits under the heat lamp and unless the buffet is busy. If the food turnover is slow this leads to the food sitting in the trays over cooking. Average quality and taste. • Service – self serve. Dishes were cleared in a timely manner. • Cleanliness - good If your objective to satiate your appetite then your expectations will be met. I didn’t think the quality of the food was that good. However, if you look at the majority of the reviews it is in the good range. Overall, I would rate the food experience as average at 2.75 out of 5. Notes and Tips: • Credit cards accepted • Check website for additional information • Las Vegas was our last stop after travelling through Palm Springs and Arizona on a hiking trip. We hiked in the Las Vegas area – Valley of Fire State Park and Red Rock Canyon. • We stayed at an AirBnB off the Strip • We also ate at the A.Y.C.E. inside the Palm Hotel on the first night we we were in Las Vegas. If you get a chance, try the A.Y.C.E. buffet to compare. For those that think the Garden Court is excellent then you need to try A.Y.C.E even though you will be paying about $5 or more per person depending on the day. See my review. • Like most buffets the foods are under heat lamps and in large trays. However, the buffet at A.Y.C.E, at some of the stations, the food is already portioned in small containers leading to less waste.

We came for the oxtail, oh yeah!

By flashncrash |

We came to the Garden Court Buffet back in October 2019 and we came specifically on a night when they had their oxtail. It was a Monday evening and we were staying on the strip. We had one of those 24 hour bus passes for The Deuce and typically grabbed the SDX which is their express bus and used it get to Downtown followed by a short walk to the Main Street Station Hotel Casino. I will have to say that the rest of the buffet was not that great nor was I really interested in anything other than the oxtail. When we were there it was located at the far end of the serving area and sometimes a line wraps along the walls for the oxtail. Where we were seated I had a perfect view of the line or when they replenished the oxtail supply. I cook oxtail at home and can say that Garden Court Buffet does a superb job. Now it may not be the preparation style everyone likes but this is one of the ways I do like it. Myself, I had 3 full plates of the oxtail and knew I got my money's worth. The staff here is excellent plus I like it that soda/milk/tea/coffee is included in the buffet price. I look forward to returning for oxtail when they reopen and it is safe to go.

Visually lovely setting -- but we went to eat

By thumper1 |

The sign said "Voted one of the Top Five Buffets in Las Vegas" so we gave it a chance. We had walked by earlier in the week and had been suckered in by the setting and by signs advertising specials with low prices. Most of the dinner buffets were $12-$16, but we arrived at 5 PM on a Friday night, and, not having a Player's Club card, we paid $30 each -- $97 with tax for the 3 of us -- for an overcooked seafood buffet. We probably would have left when we saw the price on the sign but our son was on his way to the airport and we bit the bullet. We literally bit the bullet. I've lived in New England all my life and never knew that seafood could be so overcooked to the point of toughness. The better choices were "average" and nothing was outstanding. I waited behind a woman who piled on and created a Jenga structure with the crab legs. Really!!! Take 3 and make another trip back. I also tried a hard shelled crab. It was a lot of work to find that the crab inside had probably been previously frozen as it had stuck to the shell and had to be scraped out in tiny little shreds. The cod fish sat in a hot station tub and was overcooked. My husband said the oysters were the worst he's had. There were peel and eat shrimp that were decent but the shells were a bit of work. I can see where a buffet would serve them in this manner in order to avoid a feeding frenzy. The cocktail sauce was improved with a little horseradish from the brisket station. The Mexican food was not very good but the Italian stuffed pasta was okay. I had Chinese hors d'oeuvres that I liked well enough to go back for a second. I did not try the "sushi" -- it's one of those dishes I like to watch it being prepared -- but they appeared to be California type rolls with cooked kani. There was a lot of comfort food -- fried chicken, mashed potatoes, hush puppies -- that we did not try. We had a competitor's buffet earlier in the week and they had a gelato station. Garden Court had chocolate and vanilla soft serve. Most of the cakes looked like the ones you buy at BJs or Costco. I tried a Cannoli because they looked good. Looks can be deceiving! The filling was okay but the Cannoli shell was soft and much too thick.

Used to be one of the Best Downtown, Used to Be.

By konowaza |

The buffet at Main Street used to be one of the best. People would pay the little bit extra to go there even though their meal coupons would fully cover some other buffet. I used to run into pit bosses from the old Las Vegas Club there who could have dined for free at their own properties but chose to pay to eat there. Then typically the management of Boyd Group began to drop the quality and variety of the offerings, living off the reputation they had earned in the past. Now it is just an average buffet slightly overpriced for the quality of what you get.

Solid brunch buffet

By phvi2617 |

The Garden Court is a nice, less expensive diversion from the Strip buffets. The food is very good, and they have a decent selection of dishes for brunch along with a variety of desserts. It was great that it wasn't super crowded on a weekday mid-morning. Service is friendly and the vintage interior is really cool.

Skip the Buffets on the Strip

By Oconaf |

Want to feel like you've stepped back in time to Old School Vegas, as you get a nostalgic sense you may rub shoulders with a member of the Rat Pack as you walk through the casino? Then stop by the Garden Court Buffet at the Main Street Casino in Downtown Vegas. The restaurant is clean, brightly lit, and you're greeted with a warm and friendly smile as you walk in. We were there for breakfast and there was wide assortment of goodies to choose from. I tried to sample most of what I could handle and it was all very tasty. Great omelet station with good options, just the right amount to baked goodies, and very friendly and attentive staff. Best of all, very reasonably priced for a family of 4: $45! So skip the overpriced, overcrowded buffets at the fancy hotels on the Strip and try one the better, modest, and much more economically priced buffets in Vegas.

Always good!

By Myrna B |

This is our favourite buffet in downtown Las Vegas. There is a wide variety of good food. There is a section of Chinese, Mexican, Italian etc as well as a salad bar and a nice dessert selection.

Best Seafood Buffet in downtown Las Vegas Tuesdays and Friday's

By Clyde T |

As a frequent traveler to downtown Vegas and a Seafood sort of guy, especially King Crab, I always go to Main Street Garden Court Buffet for their seafood buffet night. Priced reasonable, stay as long as you want, many other varieties of foods and desserts. Great for entire families, great friendly staff. They also have great breakfast buffets every day....

Disappointed

By Darlene W |

I came here 18 months ago it’s was amazing. Last night it was just average something is missing from the last time I came. Still a good price but food seemed average

Pleasant & Quaint

By UberRob33 |

I received a free buffet coupon for here & decided to stop by. I was pleasantly surprised by the nostalgic decor & setting. In my continuous search for places like this and for finding hidden gems, I had to comment & add Main Street Casino's Garden Court Buffet to my list. The food was hot, fresh and had a good variety of Asian, American and Italian dishes. I started with a nice small bowl of Cioppino and thought it a nice touch to the line up. The Lunch buffet is only $11.99, less with a players card. I also had some nice various mixed veggies like squash, green beans and broccoli, to go with some Mahi Mahi to go along with a pork chop. There were also some bbq pork ribs there too, so I added some to my plate. The Kalua pork was good as well as some other Hawaiian favorites like stew and Manapua. So overall lots of good selections to choose from and their desserts weren't too bad either. If you are in or near Downtown Freemont Street, LV. Then stop in for a nice meal in a nice relaxed and quaint atmosphere. Cheers and thanks for your support.

Nice but not as good as Golden Corral

By Mandy1402 |

OK, this is just my opinion but if you want to get good value for money, go to the Golden Corral on Lamb Blvd. I ate at the Garden Court Buffet in 2014 when I was last in Vegas and enjoyed it and thought it was very good value for money, so as I was going to a show in one of the hotels in Fremont St I thought I would eat there beforehand. It was ok, nice selection of food and huge array of cakes and stuff on the dessert section but I wouldn't say I was blown away by anything in particular. One good thing was that I had parked in the Car Park on Stewart Ave which always used to be very cheap (think it was $3 last time I was there) but is now charging $9, and the lady on the desk as I paid said she would validate it for me so the parking was free. There are so many great places to eat in Vegas that sometimes it's hard to just even decide one which one to go to. Would I eat there again? Don't think so.

Seafood Buffet Friday

By Lori A |

We were on Fremont St and wanted a good Buffett - we heard that the Buffet at the Main Street Station was the best - a short walk over. It was the BEST Buffett we have had in Vegas and we have been to them all! This was the Seafood buffet they had crab legs, shrimp, clams, mussels, oysters and a lot of other dishes - the brisket was excellent - chicken and salads and pizza - the desserts were very good too - I can not wait to go to this buffet again. The Buffett is $29.99 if you have a Member's card you get a dollar off the price. Service very good and the keep the binds always filled.

Easter buffet

By SUE M |

We have a group of gals that go to Vegas every Easter. (Over 40 years). It has become tradition to go the Garden Court Buffet every Easter. We have seen ups and downs here over the decades. One year we said we may not go back BUT This year was excellent. We were all very pleased. The prime rib, pork, ham, chicken, pizzas, Stromboli, salad bar, desserts, etc were all very good. One of my favorite desserts they stopped making a few years back but there’s plenty to choose from. Please continue to keep things fresh and the quality good. I thought I sent in a review but apparently I forgot…so here it is.

Favorite breakfast buffet downtown.

By Normal1976 |

On return stays downtown, one of the mainstays of our trip is this gem for breakfast. Let me say that my numerous trips/stays have been during the week. Never have I visited on the weekend. There are many reasons this place is my favorite. The food is delicious, the staff makes you feel like family, and you are eating in a historic place downtown. Year after year the major draw is Manny at the omelet station. Manny will make you forget about a night of losses with his hysterical sense of humor. If you have had one of his made to order omelets you know what I am talking about. When asking you what ingredients you would like in your omelette, you better mention the eggs. He will ask you: NO EGGS? If you want jalapeño peppers he will ask if you are 21, and have ID to prove it. If you are a sore loser, or hungover and don’t have a conversation with Manny; he will have the one sided conversation without you. He is a show while you wait in line for your omelette. Garden Buffet Management, take care of this treasure. Job well done by all of your staff! See you again on my next visit.

Dinner at main street buffet

By John |

We went to this buffet several years ago and some you tubers gave it a decent review so we thought we would give it another shot , what a mistake the food was Luke warm the carved meats were brisket and turkey. , brisket was worst ever had very tough and tasteless turkey was ok tried several different things only thing that was good was baked chicken , desert was ok all in all we gave it 2 stars buffet is over priced for the selection and quality of the food ! Skip this one , ate at other buffets this week which was 100 times better

Slightly Better Than Average......

By David G |

Looking for something downtown, upon reading some positive reviews we decided to eat here. The decor is beautiful in the casino as well as the buffet. There are a myriad of choices to choose from. An interesting tidbit is that there was a lot of Hawaiian food. They only had one carved meat, this was a drawback for me. They had some better dishes on the buffet like the fried chicken and the desserts were quite good as well. This is a reasonable priced, with solid food choices.

Great Cheap Breakfast by Fremont Street

By Nina A |

My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast and it was great. We went early @ 7:30am and everything was hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and the price couldn’t be beat. It was $9.99 per person without a casino card or $8.99 with one.

Cheap, but poor quality ingredients

By august01 |

If you’re looking for a cheap buffet in the Fremont Street area of Las Vegas then this is the place you’ll find it. However, the cheapness means poor quality ingredients. If you can afford to pay more then I’d recommend the Wicked Spoon in The Cosmopolitan on the Strip, or the Bacchanal in Caesars Palace, but if money is a concern and you want to try a buffet, this could be the one for you. Soft drinks and tea are included in the price. Setting in an old train station, now a hotel, is really quite nice.

Garden Court Buffet

By icemom2009 |

This buffet has a very inviting, spacious atmosphere. They have interesting choices for lunch, including tapioca pudding, & fried liver This was our 1st visit, & we enjoyed the variety of food available. Our server was prompt, & friendly. We will visit again on our next trip to Las Vegas.

Garden Court Buffet- A buffet garden it is.

By Big Buck |

Located within the Main Street Hotel and Casino. This buffet was a typical buffet- nothing more- with above average ambiance. The Interior Design of the ceiling and walls is very detailed- interesting for sure. Well run establishment although you pay before you are seated- (this was the only negative comment) that was a bit of a lengthy process- long line-up- probably really tough at peak eating hours. "Nobody goes there anymore! It's too crowded" - Yogi Berra. We would recommend arriving on off peak hours (early) We arrived around 5pm and still waited about 15 minutes to be seated- We visited on a Wednesday night- was only $15 all in per person. They do have special nights- check that out via their website. The dessert area was way above average- The care and presentation of all of the food choices was very good. We did not leave hungry. The chefs behind the counters all seemed attentive caring. Restaurant cleanliness was excellent. Note: You can valet park at this facility for free- attendants work for tips- This was very convenient for us- we visited Fremont Street after dinner which was a very short walk from this facility. This IS NOT fine dining.....Enjoy. But, if you truly want a BUFFET experience- this is a very good choice for this type of dining.

Always very good

By SUE M |

This buffet continues to be consistent. Most of the time everything is very good. We especially loved the orange chicken, prime rib, pizza, salad bar and dessert bar. Over the years they’ve taken some of my favorite desserts away which is disappointing. There used to be some kind of coconut, chocolate chip, pecan dessert bar that was excellent....haven’t seen it in years. I didn’t see coconut shrimp this trip either. Again disappointing. All in all this does continue to be a very good buffet.

Brunch

By J5987FMsharonl |

A great value for the money. The omelet station guy makes the trip worth it. He is funny and interactive with the customers. The rest of the food is just average, but the the ambiance is 5 stars.

better than the buffets on the strip

By john3136 |

This is a great buffet. Cheap. Clean. Plenty of variety. Good service. I don't have a bad thing to say about it !

Still tasty classic

By mary |

Still the best buffet for money. Free parking (just validate your ticket). Nice selection of breakfast and lunch food items. I had the best waffle I’ve ever eaten. The outside edge had a sugary crispy crunch. Not sure how they did it, but delicious!! Served with hot syrup and butter. Yummy!! We finished eating, then walked to the new Circa Casino and had a blast! Great morning!!!

Buffet Under $12 With Great Food!

By mrsTravellingMama |

For $12 / adult without discount, you can't go wrong with this place. Parking (Main Street Parking) is free across the street with a minimum purchase of $20 in the buffet. We came on a monday, for lunch. What we they had on the buffet line up was: -Roast beef brisket (10/10) Fresh, complete with trimmings. -Roast Turkey -Pizza, Garlic Bread, Make your own pasta station (9/10) -Roast Chicken, Hot Wings, Crispy Chicken. -Chicken Noodle Soup, and two other kinds -Make your own tacos, nachos, burritos section -Veggies -Chinese Food Section, fried rice, sweet sour pork + about 3 more items I am pretty sure i missed about 12 more dishes, but you get the idea of what's in the line up. I would say 80% of the warm dishes are excellent. The fried chicken tho is very dry. I wish they would do something about that as It is pulling down on a lot of their other good dishes. DESSERT! For a buffet under $15, their sweets line up went beyond my expectation. The plain looking cheesecake with no topping, is OFF THE CHART delicious! If they make this in house, they have a pretty good pastry chef. The bread pudding is to die for. The list goes on. Save room for dessert!!!!!!!! Coffee is excellent, to me it tasted like starbucks, it could be, who knows :) Service is Excellent. I highly recommend this place. It is worth the drive to Freemont! WE WILL BE BACK!

Dependable and great variety

Whether you just want fruits and hot cereal, chef made eggs to order, or chinese, mexican food, the Garden Buffet offers this to you. The hostesses are gracious and the wait crew courteous.

We visited for lunch and were surprised by the quality of the offering. Lots of food items from around the world were included and everything I tasted was good. Nice surroundings and pleasant staff. Would recommend

..Best Buffet - Downtown

By Grandma T |

Good Food - reasonable price. Seafood Dinner on Friday night and Champagne Brunch on Sunday - Both very very good!

Must see dinning room

By LA in AZ |

All there buffet settings are alright, but I prefer their breakfast over the other two. Not the longest, but plenty of choices. Good service and reasonable prices. Bathrooms are close.

Less Expensive

By adventuresometwosome |

If you want a decent meal and selection, but more reasonable during your Vegas stay, you shouldn't be disappointed unless you are comparing it to the expensive buffets. The food was good and fresh, selection also and under $40 for two.

Best Service Ever!

By Bailey G |

The food was good but the service was excellent! Our server JR was always ready to help us when needed. If you are in the area, totally recommend. Will not disappoint!

Main Street Station Buffet 8 am - 12 pm

By Joseph S |

This is only a review of my experience at the brunch buffet (8am-12pm) at the Main Street Station on Jan. 30, 2025. I would not recommend this buffet to anyone. The food selection and freshness was similar to what you would find at a school cafeteria - certainly not at a reputable restaurant. The scrambled eggs and bacon were mediocre. The lunch selection was poor-to-mediocre, and included rotisserie, barbequed and Kentucky fried chicken, Hawaiian pulled port, ham, kielbasa, pork sausage, beef stew without beef, white fish, rice, cooked broccoli and green beans, and macaroni and cheese. Deserts included apple pie, carrot cake, chocolate cake, puddings, cookies and ice cream. I had indigestion afterwards.

very nice

By Julie H |

Very clean efficient staff lovely food plenty of choice nicely decorated out. There was lots to choose from including breakfast item eg scrambled eggs

Hidden gem

By jamiek35 |

This truly was the hidden gem of our week in Vegas. Awesome food, great variety & such a bargain. Barely a queue and quick service. Unlimited champagne at the weekend brunch. The best fried chicken we had all week & the corned beef hash was great too. Everything was good, hot & fresh. Good coffee too.

A wonderful buffet

By marcia_marcia |

OK, we were here on a Sunday, so champagne brunch for a cool $16.99. First, the room itself is very pretty. They've really gone all out with the old train station look and I loved that. Then this buffet, which included unlimited champagne, coffee, and juice, was really over the top. I don't think I can even remember all that was there. There's breakfast standards, then salad, carving station, Mexican food, Chinese food, and a beautiful selection of desserts. It was a pretty lovely start to a Sunday.

Good values for the money

The restaurant is beautiful! The staff is on point! The food is delicious! Great value for the money!

Won’t be coming back

By Howfinity |

This was by far the worst buffet I’ve ever had. The only thing I could eat was chicken and bacon. Even the pancake had a strange taste

Lunch buffet while on Fremont

By Rich K |

We really enjoyed the buffet. This is a few blocks off of Fremont st so it's a little bit more laid back and quieter. Very ornate dining area. Food and service was good. Would definitely eat here again next time in Vegas.

Busy

By kathy h |

Short line and pleasant associates our table was close to the buffet. Hot and delicious selections with plenty of gluten free options

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

By SoCalOregonian |

We stopped by this buffet on 09/23 with 13 people and they were able to accommodate us immediately with no waiting. They provided great customer service. There is a large selection of food from which to choose. Total for 2 people was $32.45 before tip. Very good dining experience.

Used to be our go to breakfast buffet place before the pandemic. After pandemic my how things have changed. We went for the Sunday brunch. Price has gone up. No more discounts for BConnect members or first responders. Selection also reduced. Kalua cabbage, Portuguese sausage, breakfast sausage were tasty as usual. Eggs Benedict, bacon, French toast were average. Fruits were fresh and sweet. Perhaps it’s the sign of the times we are in. It will take me some time to accept this as the case. That being said, I will go back and eat here

Worth the walk!

By Karaleen H |

We walked down to the garden Court Buffet while we were seeing the Fremont Street Experience. It was totally worth it. I do have to point out that if you are a fan of Oxtail then this is a treat. I rarely get the chance for this wonderful piece of meat and I just loved it. So tender and flavorful! I wish I had found it on the buffet before I ate so much other tasty treats.

Inexpensive and uncomplicated

By TartanBlossom |

We read a lot of disparaging reviews of this buffet and they are simply unfair. If you want an inexpensive (~$11/person lunch) buffet, we recommend Garden Court wholeheartedly. It is simple with standard offerings, but they were nice and flavourful. The macaroni and cheese was a pleasant surprise. If you need all the bells and whistles you might want to go to another buffet, but be prepared to pay for it.

Down to Earth Goodness comfort food

By Diana7Michigan |

All items were like home made comfort food. Ate here twice this trip such a bargain. And very pretty decor. Use your B-Connected players card for discount.

Fantastic

By Tonya B |

5 out of 5. Fresh selections and lots of them. Wait staff was also very attentive. Would go back again. We went for the brunch.

Damn good food for a very low price!

By Turtle2571 |

Was quite impressed with this breakfast Buffet for the great price. $25.68 for two is pretty damn good IMO! Cheese Blintz were phenomenal! Scrambled eggs with ham, perfect and tasty corn beef hash. Only complaint was sausage patties and not links. Were thin and dry.

Good value for money

By EddieEddie2018 |

Good value for money, search on the internet before, they are voted for the top 5 buffet in Las Vegas, to our surprise, the quality & variety of food for that price! $15, but on Tuesday turf & surf, Friday seafood will be more expensive

A little bit of everything

By James V |

When we got there, the line was a little long, but moved along nicely. The prices are pretty good too. The place was clean, and wait staff was attentive. The food was very good, and there was a little bit of just about everything. All kinds of foods, and a lot of deserts. You better be hungry when you come just to be able to sample all the different kinds of foods. Well worth it if you are staying in the down town Las Vegas area.

Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station affordable and satisfying!

By SpoonsBrewsNKeys |

Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station dinner and breakfast meals are affordable and satisfying for those budget conscious diners. Great location for those who like that nostalgic Vegas experience.

Oxtail Stew on Monday and Wednesday only

By Johnvkim |

Only place where the "locals" from Hawaii can be seen devouring the Oxtail stew. Oxtail stew is a labor of love and most places don't have the time to properly slow cook them. This place and other Boyd properties try very hard to cater to their Hawaiian customers. Wish we had it every day of the week and not just on Monday and Wednesday. What happened to the Pasta station? They used to have a made to order pasta station during the dinner buffet but it was missing on this trip. Maybe the chef is working only on certain nights? Hopefully, they did not discontinue it.

excellent meal and lots of variety to chose from

By Roberto58BC |

Went for an excellent meal at the Main Street Station's Garden Court Buffet with friends and found it to be a great restaurant with friendly service. Good choices of food for everyone and lots of it. Recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Fremont Street area and wanting a good meal.

Birthday brunch.

By Jane_E001 |

We came across this venue by accident and even though it was mid afternoon the staff were very accommodating.Fresh food was brought out and plenty to choose from.Highly recommend for anyone visiting downtown Vegas.Very reasonably priced was a bonus!

Best buffet in downtown Vegas!

By NANCY B |

Great food, excellent service. Only down side the lines out front are very confusing. We stood in one line for about 10 minutes to pay. Then told to go to a second line to wait to be seated. Of course, the second line also had a cash register so many guests paid in the second line and were seated immediately. This was on Christmas day 2019. I thought the food selection was very good although the man serving the prime rib gave me a piece that was big enough only for a child I went back 2 more times just so I could get one decent serving. I thought the dessert bar was excellent. Great price too.

Beautiful place

By Marne |

Great prices for lunch or dinner here. Food is tasty, although not exceptional. Something to make everyone happy for sure. Loved the New Orleans feel of the place! Great for a budget meal.

Wife got aick after eating

By SsgD |

One hour after eating brunch wife got sick...after 3 h a she is still available for. She ate something I didn't..don't go to the garden

Photos added. Very good value buffet

By NitroDog |

Located inside Main Street Station Casino Downtown. This is a decent value buffet with many items to choose from. I have been visiting this buffet for 15+ years and it remains the same with no changes. I know exactly what they will have. Very friendly staff. I will return. I added many photos of my visit on Seafood night.

Just awful!

By jjacks70 |

This is in my top 3 of worst buffets ever. And I go to a lot of buffets. I came for breakfast and it is so over priced for the few items offered. I think it was $22. Honestly, $7.99 would have been appropriate, if not still a bit over priced. There was about 4 desserts offered and none of them were good. I don't eat salad at a buffet usually, but I needed something edible, so salad it was. It was by far the best thing on the buffet, and it was quite a lackluster salad bar. Please do some major improvements to this buffet, or drastically reduce the price. I will not be back

Awesome Buffet Option

By kcox |

We went to the buffet for the first time around 11AM on 7/8/24. There was no wait and the cashier was very friendly. The price is great at $23 and well worth it. The gentleman who brought us drinks and cleared plates was also exceptionally friendly. Every single food item the two of us tried we enjoyed. Who knew there was Hawaiian stew....there is and it was delicious. The desserts were equally tasty. I can't say enough good about the buffet. The ambiance and restaurant decorations are beautiful. It's not like other Vegas buffets - it's special and worth visiting if you haven't been there yet. We will be back! 😍

Disappointing tbh

By Angela3950 |

Maybe the days of amazing (and reasonably priced) Las Vegas buffets are a thing of the past. The food wasn’t bad exactly, just so plain and uninspired. We came for breakfast so the waffles and bacon were good but the imitation scrambled eggs are no better than the free hotel breakfast from Holiday Inn Express. Understaffed also, with not enough people to clear tables or bring coffee (I’d have gotten my own but it seemed to be set up only for table service. They did have an interesting, tho small, Hawaiian section that I only discovered when it was time for desert. And the pie? Ice cold and tasted like Swanson. Sorry guys, would not recommend.

Downtown buffet of choice

By Nick |

Everything from the great price to the great service to the great selection. The variety of food for a weeknight was awesome. Everything was hot and fresh. The carving station was on point, actually every station was on point. It left me wondering why I hadn't visited this spot every year on previous trips. A great excuse to check out one of the more historic downtown hotels while enjoying dinner. Definitely a hidden gem, at over half the price of some "fancier" buffets!

Gone way downhill

By Terry T |

About one third of the buffet that used to have Mexican and Hawiain food are closed off except for weekend dinners. Meats from the carving station were dry; no variety. Service was good. This buffet used to be one of the best in Vegas. I expected more for the price ($26 apiece).

LOVE IT

By Kiana A |

I will visit this buffet every time I’m in Vegas. It’s the cheapest one I’ve found with a delectable selection. There’s something for everyone! Fresh, delicious and fast. Huge dining room with plenty of seating.

Good food and very nice staff. A little out of the way

By Regal666 |

We thought we would try a little buffet at an older casino. Glad we did. The food is good and our waitress was extremely nice and accomodating for us. It is a bit of a walk from the Freemont Street Experience, but it was worth the walk.

breakfast buffet

By Antonio P |

My wife and i have enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the Garden court for many years. In our last visits, however, we have experienced a gradual deterioration in the quality of service and food offerings. For the most part, in my opinion, it has to do with complacency. When you order an omelet, one should expect the ingredients to be cooked as specified. And the quality of pastries and fruit has declined, We are willing to pay more for better!

Great deal !

By Diane A |

This is a very good buffet for a great price. Good variety and food quality. An emphasis on Hawaiian food makes this place special. We went here twice. This is the only buffet left in downtown Las Vegas for a reason. It was always the best. Good service too and a beautiful decor.

Sunday brunch in downtown

By Ciaojimi |

Sunday brunch in downtown Vegas . For the price you just can’t go wrong . Sure you can pay much more but you can afford to go here . I will always choose to come here in downtown because it’s simply the best and the people here are very nice .

Great price and selection

By WhiskeyJameson102 |

The price and selection were great for the area. We showed up for Breakfast about 45 minutes before they closed. We were unaware that you couldn't stay and would be asked to leave before Lunch was served. We really were not given enough time to enjoy our Breakfast before being asked to leave.

Weekday buffet brunch food is terrible

By K J |

The only food that tasted good was from the omelet station, salad bar and dessert. The rest of the food on the buffet was old, hard and flavorless. The price is too high for the lack of quality. Go elsewhere and get better food.

Hooray for the lox (smoked salmon), shoyu chicken and reopening, but ...

By HungryHikerBoulder |

For decades this has been our favorite combination of flavor, freshness, value and ambience among Vegas buffets. It still feels great to eat there. We're glad the Main Street Station casino reopened this buffet, and we weren't surprised that prices were higher (about $25 after tip and tax for the daily brunch) and options were fewer in the wake of covid. But as mentioned in other reviews, quality control isn't at all what it used to be. Examples: Some salad items weren't fresh, and there wasn't much selection. The chicken fried steak was impenetrable. The fried chicken (formerly the star of the line) had skin too to tough to chew with almost no meat inside. We were almost full before our sampling turned up some really tasty items: lox at the salad station and tender shoyu chicken next to the carving station. The carving station meats also looked moist and quite good. The desserts were even better than we remembered. Not great, but satisfying bread pudding, carrot cake, soft serve ice cream and vanilla tapioca. We wanted to try the rhubarb pie, but there was no room. Our server did a great job.

Great food fast!

By Bryan M |

We stopped here for lunch and haven't visited in several years. The staff was extra friendly and the food was as expected. There was plenty of variety and all was fresh. When we went, the place was not too crowded.

Surprised this Buffet does not rate higher??????

By Rob W |

I find that prices for meals in Fremont are much cheaper than those on the strip. So if you are looking at saving some money venture on down to Fremont in general. Then specifically the Garden Court buffet is fantastic value, has plenty of variety and lower wait times because it is big. I was impressed with the variety of foods available and there are plenty of really healthy choices along with everything else you might be craving. The price is equally as impressive, I just walked off the street and could get an all you can eat buffet with soft drinks for just under $19. That is sooooo cheap. I had two delicious roasts that night, a really tummy roast pork and as well a roast beef. If you like desserts there was vast array to satisfy everyone. I think this is the best value buffet in Vegas.

Affordable buffer in Downtown Las Vegas

By DavidKjartansson |

Good selection and really fair prices! we paid around 10$ per person and this buffet has pretty much everything you need included drinks! Would highly recommend this place if you are staying in Downtown LV.

Great value, great selection of food.

By Shaky |

Great gammon with scrambled eggs. I enjoyed it so much that I had the same thing again! Plenty to choose from, regularly re-stocked. Good value.

Great value brunch on Fremont

By kzakowski |

We had seen this beautiful buffet on a previous trip, and decided to try it this year. Was not disappointed! Friendly staff, good food, great variety. Where else in Vegas can you get this quality of food and service for $25? Favorites were the smoked salmon and the waffles.

Good food cheap prices.

By James h |

Good food cheap prices. Some of the food was a little cold . Plenty of choices and clean. Came for breakfast with champagne and was a little strong.

Wonderful

By Dennis S |

Absolutely beautiful room and fantastic staff. The selection of food was good and the star was Manny making cooked to order omelets! That was worth the price alone and if you back out drinks the place is an incredible value. Coffees are now 5 to 6 at most restaurants along with juices. Anyway it’s worth checking out.

Great value breakfast buffet

By Stephanie W |

Been going here for years. Never disappoints. Manny has been scrambling me eggs now for over 20 years!! I get them made with the real eggs, not the omelette mix. The mix has added cream and sugar. So many other choices as well. I pay with my points, so get 40% off. Can't beat that deal. Even if paying it is a really good deal.

You Get What You Pay For

By laphph2 |

For me, the great "factor" is 'would I go again?' to determine the overall quality of nearly anything, compared to the price paid. The food was fine, nothing was unpleasant, and I tried multiple dishes in small amounts. The service was really good, the people nice, and the food was pleasant to look at. But, for the price paid, I would pay a little more to go to another buffet (although at this time, this is the only Downtown buffet) and take my chances with better fare. No regrets, but for all the options that exist, I'd not return save for a 2-for-1 deal.

Very cheap buffet , food was worth the price.

By bvlynch |

Very cheap buffet , food was worth the price no more. This buffet has to be one of the bargains in Vegas . Lots to choose from , friendly staff and beautiful settings. The food was ok , filling not outstanding , a good choice of deserts though. If you go in with expectations of a $14 buffet you will be ok with the food quality and variety.

Photos added. Sunday Brunch

By NitroDog |

Located in the Main Street Station. Very good buffet for a value price. This "Champagne" (sparkling wine) buffet is a fantastic value. They have a full salad bar, breakfast items, pizza, omelet station, carving station, lunch items, Mexican Station, Chinese Station, Hawaiian Station, Southern Station and more. Very good dessert station. I added many photos of my visit. My wife and I will return again. Excellent service. Free parking if you get your parking voucher validated.

Sad

By dawn644 |

I've been here a few times and have had great service and food. But this time again food good ,,but the server we had had the biggest bad attitude goin ,rude ,,Moody , never returning and yes that's all it took ,after having meet such polite nice staff before this one just put a massive downer on the morning .we only ask for coffee and a black tea with milk and his face was like he thought we were thick !! Slammed drinks down ,clicked fingers for me to give him the empty plate ! Wtf ..if he doesn't like the job leave

Photos added. Very good Sunday "Champagne" Brunch.

By NitroDog |

Very good brunch buffet at a low cost. Excellent fresh made omelet station. Carving board with brisket. Lot's of choices. Lox and cold trout at the salad bar and great dessert station. Excellent cashier and seating host on this visit. I would have given a 5 bubble review of this visit, except for the waiter we had. He was slow and seemed overwhelmed. Located in the Main Street Station Casino. I will return. Photos added.

Just average

By Daniel S |

My wife wanted to do a buffet while we were in Vegas. We went to the Friday seafood buffet. We liked the architecture and style of the place. It's just the food was less than satisfying. They crab legs showed the effects of storage. You would open a beautiful leg and there was so much atrophy there was little crab inside. I had two of the sausages available, but while cooked, the sausage itself was cold...???!!! We were there when they opened for service. While there were signs about wine and beer being availalble, no one asked if we were interested. On a good note, we can say we did a Vegas buffet.

fantastic buffet, great choices

By Shallwegothere |

Reading reviews this seemed like a good option but the food was extensively better than expected. Tasty, no fat, all the dishes I tried I throughly enjoyed. Would easily go back and drinks are included.

A great buffet experience!

By James |

As an avid lover of buffets, we were very excited to try Garden Court Buffet. We had brunch ( 8:00am-2:00pm) there twice during our stay in Las Vegas. Once for breakfast and the other for lunch. Both were very, very good! The staff were so friendly and professional. There’s also a chef at the carving station that serves omelettes and eggs per order for breakfast orders, and also carves the various meats. He was a very friendly and personable guy that interacted with the customers. Everybody waiting was having a good time watching him making the omelettes😄. It was such a good experience. Will definitely go back again! Oh, by the way, the food was delicious and the desserts were good as well!

Solid Brunch Emphasizing Breakfast Items

By Doug S |

Starting with the plusses: * They had breakfast essentials (omelet station, breakfast meats, eggs, corned beef hash, fruit). * Smoked salmon was a good find, hidden next to the fruit * Good Hawaiian food, including shoyu chicken, beef stew, kalua pork and cabbage, and small premade loco mocos. On the downside: * Carving station was disappointing. They had ham, kielbasa sausage, and chicken quarters. Was hoping for some kind of brisket or roast beef or roast pork. * Food selection is more limited than pre-pandemic. They used to have a variety of Asian dishes. Food is decent for the price point. Emphasis is on breakfast items and a few good Hawaiian dishes. Service is pretty good, they promptly replenish drinks.

very good buffet

By dlfinn |

very reasonably priced, with coupons from the American Casino Guide, the buffet for 3 of us was around 15.00 dollars, one coupon buy one get one free, other coupon was for 1/2 off

Yummy buffet

By mscat01 |

We had 2 for 1 coupons for the buffet and it was so good we both over ate. We also went back the next day. If you are around Fremont Street you have to eat at the buffet

A change for the worse

By PollysPa |

We have always like this buffet & always given good reviews but this last trip it was simply terrible. The first time we waited until it reopened for dinner, All seemed normal until we got our food, sat down & attempted to eat. Every single dish was stone cold. We tried another helping, just as bad, we left. We tried again a few days after, the food wasn't cold it was simply inedible, The beef was too tough to cut & 90% fat. Nothing else we tried was appetising in any way. I have no idea why it changed, maybe a new or no manager. Very disappointing, especially as we were both nauseous after the little we did eat.

Good selection. Everything decent, but nothing outstanding.

By Mike G |

Had to wait about 20 minutes in line for supper at about 4:30. Lots of options, but nothing outstanding. Dessert was the best part as they did have a nice selection of pies and cake. Cost was reasonable, so you get what you pay for.

Lots of Choices

By ksufan88 |

We recently stopped in here for their Champagne Brunch (which is offered both Saturday and Sunday). Our waitress (Elena) made sure our champagne glass stayed full. My wife enjoyed the made to order eggs & omelet station. The chef could manage 6 orders at once. Very impressive! They had an extensive selection of breakfast and lunch items. Most were good but it is hard to keep so many items on a buffet at peak flavor. We each got a $1 discount for showing our player cards.

TERRIBLE!!!!!

By Erica C |

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! OMG!!! Let me first say, the staff was very nice! Very welcoming and kind but the food was gross! The fried chicken was OLD and you can tell it's been frozen over and over again. The seasoning was off and seemed like it was from a store bought packet. The waffles were gritty. Didn't even know that was possible. The eggs were cold. The best thing were the biscuits. This meal was $104 and we were all SO disappointed!

A bargain buffet in Vegas

By Traveling_Scouter |

We hard a large group in town for a convention and we all meant here. Expecting your normal run of the mill buffet but was blown away by the selection of food and how helpful the staff is. Never saw anything that I didn't like and never had an empty glass on my table. May not be the fanciest buffet but it's a great bargain with great food.

Clean, Friendly Staff, Good Breakfast/Brunch

By Rich807 |

Everything was very clean. All employees were friendly, from cashier to servers. Food on breakfast buffet was fresh & decent. Would go back if in the area & wanted breakfast buffet experience

A Value With Good Food

By Dan R |

The price and value of the buffet was very good. . Highly recommend stopping in. They also were very good at filling the champagne during the champagne brunch.

great buffet....

By diana f |

there is a lot of speculation regarding how good this buffet is--we thought is was wonderful--only buffet downtown & was only open until 2pm--cost was about $23--place is beautiful--food was all good--omelettes made to order--desert section & whatever you wanted to drink like coffee, milk or juice--it was a hot day & we walked over from the 'four queens'--hint....cut through the casinos like 'binions' & the 'californian' for a much better walk & not too hot.....

Good Food at a Good Price

By JaySand |

A great dining option in Vegas if you're looking to not break the bank. Priced very reasonably compared to most Vegas buffets. Great variety of choices and good food. Awesome decor and ambiance, too.

Always the freshest food at Sunday Brunch

By Cujo99 |

They move a LOT of people through this buffet but the food is always very fresh and hot! Complimentary coffee and juice or mimosa.

BUTTER is BACK !!

By ClassicCouple |

I reviewed in the past on how BUTTER had disappeared . It's BACK and the Garden Court is better than ever . In our last visit we did notice something off with the sweet potatoes ?? EVERYTHING else was great.

I love the choices. And Crab Legs!!!!

By Kyle's Vacations Travel Club |

It is nice to see a buffet with more choices and not the same old, basic salad and mac and cheese. The choices and many and the quality is great. My server was very nice and I appreciate the great personality. She showed that she cared for her customers. There was crab legs and some seafood. I was very pleased and my guest were as well.

You get what you pay for

By sue b |

Low quality taste...but for $24 what do you expect...come on guys put some better ingredients even desserts were bad..chocolate chip cookie tasted defrosted...sad looking food..go elsewhere

Don't Waste Your Time

By jmb994 |

We haven't been to this buffet since 2016. We used to really love it. Sad to say..it is awful now. Other than drinks and some desserts, it was barely edible. Foods were dried out, cold, tasteless. Very disappointed. Would never come back.

Beautiful restaurant

By Sarah S |

The restaurant is beautiful. The staff is friendly and works hard. The food is average at best. Not quite Golden Corral quality. It wasn’t bad but not the pre-Covid buffets we were used to. The price was very reasonable and the hotel and casino were cool to see so it was worth the trip.

Enjoyable dinner buffet

By Mary E |

My family and I had a great experience eating at this buffet. The food was good, we had a lot to choose from, and the decor is actually pretty cool. Enjoyed the crab legs and prime rib. Service was also quick, friendly, and attentive. Plates were always removed and drinks were always refilled.

Top Notch

By Joe S |

Always consistently good. Food had nice variety. I particularly liked the all-you-can-eat smoked salamon. Have come here for years and never been disappointed. Service is efficient, no feeling of abandonment I would have expected in such a large place.

Eating better at the company canteen

By Franco collegno |

The time for the all can you heat buffets (famous and great in Las Vegas) seems to be at sunset. This is in fact the only buffet offered in the central area of the Freemont Experience, where for Champagne Bruch we paid over $80 . The buffett was meager and of low quality (they offered mostly chicken made in all sauces) only meat a kind of fairly bad meatloaf. Experience never to be repeated.

Beautiful dining room, not great food.

By mnewingham40 |

Beautiful place. Great atmosphere. Food…..not great. Items not hot, seemed like a lot of leftover re-warmed things. Would not recommend for $52 for 2.

Great buffet, breath-taking interior.

By Angie W |

Great find in downtown LV. The ONLY downtown buffet. Lots of choices and only $24/person. Very roomy and inviting. It is worth just taking a trip to Main Street Station to see the breathing-taking craftmanship and the many antiques that adorn the interior of the casino. This casino is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, masterpiece! My husband is a General Contractor and couldn't get over the high quality of craftmanship.

Good buffet

By Lynn H |

Had breakfast here a couple of times during our stay. Good selection of food and the made to order omelette was delicious. Would recommend a visit

Very Bland but Cheap

By wvsam |

Even ice cream was bland but for these prices your going to get a belly full. Affordable compared to the Strip.

Trip for food

By Timothy M |

Family heard we were going through Vegas and wanted a buffet. Looked up people's choice and it was Garden Court. Was not disappointed. It was Prime Rib night and Shrimp Scampi. We ate, no gorged, till we couldn't eat any more. Good service. Well worth the time and price.

How can they serve the same exact food items for 5 years in a row?

By FamilyDad22 |

How can they serve the same exact food items for 5 years in a row? Same whitefish, same bland chicken, same dried up old lettuce, same deserts, same everything. It's just not good.

Icon Omelet Chief is missing. This buffet had a Chief that could cook 12 Omelets and hold 12 different conversations.

By Namida12 |

The Iconic entertainment of this breakfast was missing today. For many years the Omelet Chief would present himself entertaining with an accent and conversation while he cook a very good Omelet. The Buffet main attraction was the man who could cook 12 omelets at the same time and hold multiple conversations with the many different customers while he tossed the omelets above his head. Maybe he has Monday off, I can only say I was disappointed today. If it was his day off, OK, but if he has moved on, or retired the hotel need to hold interviews and hire a similar talented Chief.

Not as good as last year

By Newbie_Vacationer |

Food is definitely not as good as last year. We went on Prime Rib and Scampi night. There's no Ox Tail, no Beef Brisket, and no Pasta made to order. Prime Rib was so-so, dry and a bit tough. Left over seafood from Seafood Night the night before was re-cooked into a dry Bouillabaisse. Best was the $2.50 Triple 7 draught pale ale beer. Triple 7 IPA was $3.50, still decent.

Best Downtown Buffet!

By R G |

This is the best selection, quality and price of any buffet in downtown Las Vegas. For about $15 for dinner you get a huge and delicious selection of meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, etc. They have traditional food such as turkey, prime rib, fish and others. In addition there are ethnic areas such as Asian, Spanish, Italian, Hawaiian. The atmosphere here is superb and the wait staff is very efficient in keeping the tables clean and the drinks filled. This is a top line buffet!

Champagne brunch is worth several visits!

By Bill S |

The champagne brunch at the Main Street Station's Garden Court Buffet has to be one of the best deals in Las Vegas. The service is first-class and the value is, too. There is a wide selection of delicious food and the champagne just keeps flowing until you decline another serving. Even when we have stayed on the Strip, a visit to the Main Street Station has been worthwhile. Staying on noisy Fremont Street means it's just a few minutes' stroll away. Various ethnic dishes, such as delicious shoyo chicken are available.

Good Basic Buffet

By Ralph S |

Visited at both breakfast and dinner (although not on same day!). Although basic food it was well prepared and a good selection of various different styles. Only let down is that at breakfast they only seem to serve scrambled eggs or omelettes (no boiled eggs, fried eggs). Dinner was a nice selection of different meats and sides. Lovely setting in a Victorian style.

Great value just off Fremont

By JL024 |

Something for everyone at this location. Visited twice during my week and will return next trip Entrees do rotate throughout week, so call ahead for specific items (prime rib, seafood). Price for dinner = 13.99; save a buck with b member card (free) Well worth the 5 minute walk from the fabulous Freemont Street Experience!

Not recommended

By Clau a |

This place is horrible, the worst buffet ever the food is cold, not a great selection We have to wait an hour to be seated avoid this place at all costs, it’s better to pay a little bit more for a decent place.

Photos added. Change it up! Same food for many years

By NitroDog |

My wife and I dined here on 4/15/2019 and as soon as we approached the counter to pay the cashier the manager told the cashier there is a full flight of guests from Hawaii arriving late and she does not care - the buffet will close. This hotel is occupied by 80% Hawaiians, many on the chartered 767 jets from Honolulu. She did not care and wanted to go home. Unreal. Boyd Gaming (owner) has had this problem for years. Management simply does not care and they need training or find another job. The waitstaff were great. The buffet has had the same food items for a decade. Change it up! I will return to fill my stomach, with the same food they have presented year after year. I receive free buffet offers monthly (one per week) and I ask myself why? That manager should not have said that in front of guests. Terrible.

Very good quality for a cheap price!

By Federika T |

The place is really nice! From outside it does not seem but when you get inside it does the job! Very good food, good quality for that price $12 per pax. The free parking is a plus counting that is in the downtown of Las Vegas! Will definitely keep this place in mind next time we visit.

Champagne brunch

By SLR110193 |

Champagne brunch is why we headed down from the strip. 15$ each for this and it was worth it for the champers. We had about a bottle each as they bring new glasses each time and are on it with the service. The food is average. Despite going for breakfast I preferred the Mexican main meals.

A very good value

By Jean B |

Monday night is BBQ night which was very good. Lots of variety. Good service. And at $13.99 a great value, especially compared to buffets on the strip. Pleasant surroundings too in a historic building.

Great value in the Downtown !

Simple, quality brunch - for 23$ including coffee and beverage there is no better deal in the downtown . fresh omelette bar ( get a 3 egg) the bagel and lox delicious tender ham - crispy bacon nice fruit and dessert bar even a soft ice cream Machine - more like ice milk but not grainy at least . I kinda like the funky old style with historic chandeliers and stained glass - I liked it so much I felt obligated to spend a little in the casino to support the Main Street casino- any hotel is 20$ for bacon and eggs - reccomend pre-tipping 10% and if your server is good give them some cash - ours was a little grumpy but we were later in the morning on Sunday - he had probably had enough

Pleasantly Surprised With This Classy Buffet

By zooland |

We enjoy buffets and this was first visit to this buffet. The food was very good with a large selection. Also, atmosphere was very nice with a Victorian decor. This hotel has class.

Price nearly doubles, Choices cut

By JL024 |

My previous experience in 2018 was very different than this. A ruby player club card got you a lunch for around $10………. Now it’s called brunch for over$20 & no discount for said club card. Choices I like (meats) are greatly reduced, as well as the ethnic offerings (Mexican) completely gone & (Asian) significantly decreased. Several items looked like reheats from the day before (southern pork chops & fried chicken), while other sections of buffet were not up to temperature (chicken noodle soup, pizzas, calzones) There is no longer a reason for me to go out of my way to visit………….😒😒

excellent low cost buffet

By Navigator579812 |

costs less then half the price of the buffets uptown, breaky , lunch was 12 and saw dinner buffet was 24. cant beat the hospitality and the food was on par with the more expensive buffets around town.

Great food, great price

By Bubberscat |

I've been here several times and it never disapoints. The prices of very reasonable, there's a large selection of food and great service. No hesitation to recommend this buffet.

Excellent food and service

By SolihullMargaret |

We ate here three times on our recent stay and can not fault it, the food was excellent and the choice was huge, coffee was just fabulous.

Yes!!! Eat here!!

By Ruszange |

This buffet is absolutely AMAZING (especially when compared a day after the MGM buffet which was a nightmare). The food is great. The selection is great. They have salmon, locomoco, pastas, pizzas, desert, everything! And separate stations with plenty of room so no horrid lines and jams and absolute nightmarish struggles like we just had at MGM. Eat here if you want a buffet.

Not As Good As It Used To Be...

By DJKen Heath |

I've been here on many previous visits to Las Vegas and it has always been a very good experience and an excellent value, until this trip. The food was not of the same quality as it was in the past. It was still a good value but not as noteworthy as it once was.

Fantastic Buffet & decorated dining room

By vince353 |

For $20.99-26.99 Brunch/$29.99-$32.99 Dinner. I would say this is the best price for a buffet in Las Vegas. This buffet is amazing. Lot & lots of food option’s & desserts to choose from. Beautiful ornamentation & design of dining area. Also casino & bar area. Did pick up a free guide of hotel artifacts, antique & artwork from front desk. Saw a piece of the Berlin Wall in men’s restroom around corner from buffet dining room.

NO BUTTER ????

By ClassicCouple |

We have been regulars at this buffet for many years. One of the best buffets in Vegas. As a local I've experienced many. Always a Clean beautiful room. On our most recent visit we were lucky enough to experience Fresh Waffles. Sweet potatoes are always on the line with collard greens and fried chicken. A balsamic vinegar accompanies the greens as should be. Eggs Benny , sometimes Ox Tail Stew . Great quality and selection. NO BUTTER ???? A VEGETABLE SHORTENING SPREAD ???? NO BUTTER ???? C'mon.....who's the Chef ???? Delicious waffles....NO BUTTER .....Toast ...NO BUTTER...Pancakes...NO BUTTER ....French Toast ...Etc. etc....C'MON....At least have some in the fridge for customers who might request it . One pantry lady demanded that the spread was BUTTER. Having it behind the line at least for requests would be nice.

Many photos added. Much improved brunch buffet

By NitroDog |

My wife and I dined here for Sunday Brunch. This buffet is much improved. It was slipping on past visits. They have a great omelet station, carving station and great desserts. The service was excellent, and Boyd management should be proud. I added many photos of our visit and will return.

Not bad

So you have been to buffet before and for the Main Street Garden Court Buffet is no different than all the others. We were there for the Friday night seafood Buffet. The main event for most is the crab legs. Served hot all you can eat. But the batch I had were small, Skinny, not much meat. Service was spotty at best, not enough workers so don't expect spot on service. The dessert options were quite limited as they only out out small plates of cake etc.. If you have a coupon, its probably worth a try. Normal admission is $28.00. You get a dollar off if you are a Sam's member. For the money I think there are better options out there.

Not that good

Food was not so good . Service was ok and crew is friendly but the food was very poor. Food selection is so limited. Over priced as well

Cheap Eats ($14.99 Dinner)

By Kim M |

My Travel companion was in search of cheap eats, and we found them. Not a fan of buffets, I agreed to go along. There is a vast array of "American", "Asian", "Mexican" and salad choices Salad bar was substandard in terms of option for fresh veggies, lots of pre-prepared (and dressed) salads. Most of the food appeared to be over cooked (I had the tilapia, which was definitely over cooked (or over held) and dry. Beef was greyish in colour. Staff was slow to restock items (we were there at 7pm, so peak dinner time). Certainly not fine dining. Fulfilled my companion's need to eat cheap, and I ended up with "stomach concerns" for the rest of the evening. Not my thing, would not recommend, however, my friend was in her food glory.

OMG!!!! So yummy

What an awesome place. We went for breakfast, on the day we were leaving. Wish we would have went for Supper. Breakfast was spot on! Manny was the best omelet maker! So many options! Staff was friendly and helpful. Well worth the $18.99 pricetag.

Low quality food, and all plastic cups. Not worth the money at all

By Actorbiker |

We visited downtown for a less expensive buffet, to try it out on a Saturday morning. And by less expensive, it's still thirty dollars each adult. The food was overcooked and dry. The mac&cheese was cheese-whiz and tasteless. I understand that this isn't the Bellagio, but being a Vegas buffet, I still had some expectation. This is more like a buffet I would find at a run-down hotel in Laughlin.

Very Good Breakfast Buffet

By DSIndiana |

Breakfast buffet was less than $10 per person and had a very good variety. The omlet line does tend to get long and makes it difficult to get to some of the buffet items. While at the hotel, be sure to check out the self-guided tour as there are many interesting artifacts (including a piece of the Berlin Wall). Brochure is available at the front desk.

Excellent Casino Staff

By TartanBlossom |

My husband and I did not stay at this hotel but we did gamble here and we enjoyed every minute of it. The decor is stunning, with many historical nods and artifacts (including Sir Winston Churchill's snooker table and part of the Berlin wall!). We went to their lunch buffet, which was inexpensive and, as a result, good for the price. I encourage you to go early and get everything while its fresh. The highlight for us, however, was the staff at the Main Street. The security guard gave us a quick, historical tour of the building, and even told us a few ghost stories! The dealers and pit boss at one of their craps tables were incredibly kind and helpful. They helped us learn the game in a (mostly) judgement free environment (I'm looking at you Menbere. ;P) We also loved how they knew many of the other people at our table by name and gave them personalized service as a result. I highly recommend visiting this property.

good for price

We went there on Monday night for oxtail soup. Parking free with validation on opposite parking lot. Nothing fancy but relaxing for middle age +.

Cold food, long wait for a drink

By Sally J |

Got to the buffet right when it opened & was one of the first in. I didn't like the fact you have to wait for a server to bring you drinks. I was absolutely parched & had to wait 20 minutes for a juice, every other buffet I've been to is self service for drinks. Being more or less first in I would expect the food to be hot. Everything was luke warm. The fried chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it. Bacon was hard rather than crispy. The sausage patties were the only tasty item but stone cold. I barely ate a thing & felt I wasted my money. Definitely wouldn't return.

``` Simply Very Good Buffet /// Very Affordable
Decided to try a few new places while staying in downtown Vegas and since I heard so much about the Main Street station I thought ok restaurant. We ended up at the buffet which was a great choice as there were 8 of us. They had everything from succulent Prime rib to Chinese,pizza for those pizza lovers. Lots of veggies and the dessert table was scrumptious. Next time you are downtown or better even to stay downtown check out the Main Street station and Garden buffet
1st time visit
By gillianmcf |
Always wanted to try a buffet, sushi was lovely with salmon and eggs, the carrot cake was to die for but the rest was below average, carved meets were dry, chicken dishes were tough and everything was just warm , was there Easter Monday so price was also extra disappointed overall ..... Staff on floor very pleasant. Lovely building.
Favorite Buffet Downtown on a Budget
By kerit71 |
We always go to the Courtyard Buffet in Main Street Station when we visit Vegas and it’s always delicious and plentiful. Wait staff always friendly and attentive. Love it!
Very good service, though the whole experience not worth the price.
By a4andrew |
Service was very good. Food offerings were typical. Flavor was average. Price is high. You can get better value elsewhere.
