We chose this beautiful location based on reviews. The food was good and this would be a great place for a dinner date. But celebrating a 50th birthday here or big day is not the best choice. Management didn’t make it special. No big candle or birthday wishes. Traveling from out of state? Don’t make this the birthday spot. It’s more to see the views and chill.

So, most importantly: to find out how to get to this restaurant, you have to enter through the entrance of the Intercontinental Hotel, and take the elevator to the 3rd floor, then ask for your way; otherwise, it is impossible to find! Had a great meal here with great food and service. Outdoors seemed more fun then indoors with great sunset views. Be prepared to feel old if you are over 50!

Great service at happy hour! The handpainted walls are stunning! Beautiful views and great cocktails. Will be back for oysters and entrees

We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary!!! Kelsey helped us feel cozy and welcome on an amazing terrace view!!! Thabk you so much Kelsey for a great recommendation for our pre-dinner drinks and to the team for such a good food a drink quality! We will be back soon

Was a great experience, beautiful place with the best service from Abraham. Excellent food Out of this world desert!!!

Abraham was an amazing waiter who catered to all of our needs. He was always there to take our orders when we were ready and he was incredibly hospitalet .

Staff and views are wonderful. The food was a serious let down. It was bad from the start with focaccia that was soft in texture like stale white bread. Then the entrees, the pesto pasta looked and tasted like it was made days ago and reheated in the microwave, gummy, pasty and dry. The boar sausage pasta was incredibly sour, not lemony sour, maybe bitter is a better word. The kitchen is seriously letting the staff and location down. Go to Vistal the venue adjacent, it is better.

Sunset at Garibaldi, our server was David. Excellent service from David and the rooftop dining was gorgeous overlooking San Diego Harbour! Thanks David!

What an amazing experience last night at the new Garibaldi restaurant in San Diego. My family has traveled all over the world, with many great meals, service and views and Garibaldi rates right up there s one of our top picks. What we appreciated was the attention to detail and quality from beginning to end. The hostess, Haley, was welcoming and knowledgeable and the views were stunning. I recommend Tapas style so you can try many of their amazing dishes; fresh, unique, and flavorful with many ingredients grown on site. Nathalie, Lucas and Mike helped make the night special for our family. A huge thumbs up.

First of all the view is amazing. Located at the great InterContinental San Diego rooftop. Food is good quality. Service at the bar was slow and not at the level expected

Great service and experience with David! The food and vibes were great. I highly recommend the vanilla gelato for dessert. So delicious!

Abraham is excellent. We ordered from his suggestion and had a wonderful meal. The grilled rock fish was great and the Etna wine paired very well with it.

Food was delicious! Cocktails were excellent! We were seated outside on the rooftop and had a fabulous view of the Bay and the sunset! David our waiter was very attentive and helpful and even saved us a parking fee by reminding us that they validate parking!

Happy Hour here is the absolute best. Starts at 4:30 PM and ends at sunset. The oysters are fresh and delicious. They update their menu but it doesn’t matter because whatever their chefs whip up, it’s really delicious. The views, immaculate. The drinks, spectacular. The music and vibes, classy. It’s been our best kept secret but we can’t gate keep anymore. Ask for Abraham as your server, and you’re guaranteeing America finest. Stay classy!

Great spot, great atmosphere and food and amazing view. Great service from David and Marissa. Wouldn’t have known she just started here.

We had one night in San Diego before leaving on a trip from there and this restaurant was close to our hotel in the Gaslamp. I was with my wife and two adult daughters and we ate on their patio. First, great atmosphere - felt very trendy. Second, there are great views of the harbor. Second, despite the weather being chilly, the heaters worked well. Third, the service was very friendly. Fourth, the food was delicious. Two vegetarians and two non-vegetarians among us and we all left happy. I'd recommend to people looking for something nice in that part of town.
Great location and theme
We stayed at the Intercontinental and were excited to check out this speakeasy. The drinks were solid and the ambience is the main draw. Great views of the water and downtown. I also loved the Garibaldi theme – bright orange chairs, napkins, and glasses. A very fun spot to visit. I liked this ambience better than Vistal (another hotel dining option).
