Good hotel bar

By Autumn T |

Very comfortable bar with a pretty good drink selection. Bar appetizers were also very good. The lunch offerings were a bit bland, though.

Dinner at Gather

By Dave D |

Was traveling on business and trying to fight through some jetlag, so went to Gather for a quick dinner. Bartender suggested a local brew (delicious), and I ordered the Ramen bowl. Absolutely flavor packed, some of the best I have ever had.

Do not eat at Gather

By zach6894 |

I don't think I have ever seen my sn and daughter in law sicker. The only place we ate over the weekend at the Hotel was Gather. They ate a shrimp appetizer- I didn't thankheavens. Had to check out late to give them time to feel better.

Hit and Miss

By morgainegeiser |

I was never quite sure who was serving us, three waiters brought us our beverages and food. Service was good. My husband had fish tacos which were o.k., the arugula salad salad dressing had way too much vinegar in it. I had the ramen noodle bowl - this had to be the worst ramen noodles ever - the noodles were floating in water - no flavor, had broiled chicken added and extremely hard pea pods. Asked the waiter for soy sauce, it helped a little, he said he usually adds hot sauce himself because it is so bland. Take this off your menu or try cooking in a vegetable or chicken stock, add a little spice for flavor. We probably would have ate here again as it was convenient, but I was so turned off we went elsewhere.

Hotel restaurant.

By 242TonyC |

Not a big selection. Kind of pricey for what you get. I had the Fillet medallions. Ordered medium rare, got well dune. I think they microwaved the fingerling potatoes before frying, they were hard but not burnt on the outside.

Ok food, nice atmosphere

By Doug Nix |

The menu is not great, but the atmosphere is cosy. The bar has a nice, if short, selection of local draught beers, as well as the usual bottled beers and cocktails.

Great food and service

By Kristin |

I ate at Gather as a hotel guest at the Doubletree. I enjoyed a delicious salmon salad and glass of Pinot Noir for dinner at the bar. Although I sat down during a very busy happy hour, I was greeted upon my arrival and served promptly. Delicious food and great service means I will definitely be back on my next visit to Portland! Next time I will try to snag a seat by the lovely fireplace!

Overpriced food

By WorldTravelers34 |

Gather Food & Drink is located inside the Doubletree Hotel. My wife and I had a light snack here one evening during our stay at Doubletree. We ordered the “Asian Inspired Chicken Wings”. Although they were good and tasty, we thought they were very small wings and definitely overpriced.

Very poor pool service

By Your Bourbon Man |

Seems like a nice place, haven't tried the food but the poolside service is lacking. Let me say this, poolside snacks and drinks are a money maker yet this establishment doesn't understand that. In the two hours I was at the pool, with 40 adults or more out there and the lack of service I bet they lost hundreds of dollars. We sat down at a table, there was a pool menu on the table, we selected a couple of drinks. In 10 minutes or so the waiter breezed through and took our order. He left and we didn't see him or another waiter for almost 40 minutes. Others were looking around and asking, but no service. I finally went to the bar and ordered the drinks myself, got them, paid (no tip because frankly he didn't deserve it) and returned to our table. 20 minutes later the waiter came through and asked how we were doing, seemingly oblivious to the fact that we had drinks but he didn't bring them. We ordered one more drink, it came out in under 15 minutes. When he made his sweep back through in 15 minutes he tried to charge us for the two drinks i went in and bought, as well as the one he brought. I corrected him, and paid for the one drink with no tip. I do tip well, but not when the staff don't deserve it. Folks at the Gather...pay attention, you are leaving money on the table. There were people who wanted drinks and food and your return time to the pool was 30 minutes or more. I always give it one more try, and I'll try again, but the staff need to wake up and take advantage of the customers desiring to hand you money!

So-so

By Jack O |

I ate there a couple of times during a business meeting. The food wasn't that great although the portions were large. The service was nothing to brag about either. The prices were kind of high for the quality, but not portion size which was large.

Decent food for a hotel bar and grill

By Tony H |

This little nook by the elevators in the Doubletree is pretty good for a hotel bar and grill. They have a number of local beers and the grill cheese and tomato bisque makes a nice snack or lunch.

Surprisingly good food, for a hotel

By Schnazbot |

Was stuck in the hotel for business. I'm usually disappointed by the food. This place was great, local twist, delicious. Service was excellent too. It's going to be on the pricy side, but very convenient and there was enough interesting food on the menu that ate there 4 times, instead of wandering around in the dark.

A Second Chance Paid Off

By Walt H |

Our first visit to this bar resulted in our having to have our meals in Take Out form because they forgot to prepare our food...then when we opened the To Go on the bus we had to take we found that neither of our meals was even close to what we ordered. We gave them another chance a few days later and had a wonderful experience. We got exactly what we ordered and the food was delicious. Fortunately, we did not have to pay for the first order. We were more than happy to pay for the second meal.

Good food, limited menu for lunch

By 2thesun |

Basically in the lobby of the Doubletree Hotel. Tables set around in a small space with seats at the bar as well. Pleasant atmosphere, open to the lobby, with a couch and seats at one end. The menu choices were basically salads and sandwiches but though limited, they were very upscale, especially the salads with chicken and salmon choices. I had a reuben, with housemade pastrami on rye. One friend had a chicken salad, the other the brisket sandwich.Sandwiches came with a choice of salad or fries. My reuben was very good. Heaped with generous portions of pastrami and good rye bread properly toasted, but maybe a little shy on the kraut and dressing one expects in a reuben. The green salad was above average with various types of lettuce. I really enjoyed the sandwich and salad. We were very well served by the waitstaff. Service was excellent! It was a bit pricey for lunch, but for special meetings with friends or to meet with co-workers for a special occassion, it fits the bill very well. If staying at the hotel, it would be a very nice place to meet. Of course, it is next to the Lloyd Centere Mall so that is a big advantage.

Nice quiet place -- not too big, though

By Bryan H |

Came here on a blustering October Friday afternoon for a drink and a bite to eat. Both were delicious and reasonably priced for what we got. Service was quite good. The decor was O.K., but so many restaurants or coffee shops have closed down in the Lloyd center area, that I was thankful for this place. I'd come here again in a flash.

Suprisingly good!

By John T |

I didn't expect much with this little bar like restaurant off the lobby but I had one of the best meals I have had in quite a while! Get the pork loin if its on the menu. They change the menu based on seasons and seem to take pride in using local ingredients! Highly recommended!

Tasty Food, Fine Wine!

By BritFrenchPol |

The menu is eclectic, with choices from flat bread pizza to sweet-potato tater tots that have a thick cheesy dip. All the various items I chose off the menu during the 4 day stay were very tasty, but as an "honored citizen" (Portlandish for seniors which I liked!), too salty, fatty, and portions were sometimes embarrassingly small. Nouvelle cuisine is often spartan, but there is no excuse for a Cesar salad to be two leaves of romaine lettuce slathered in dressing with accompanying bits. The prices were high (as bar food often is), especially for what you got. My favorite thing about Gather was the wine selections. I'm a very picky wine lover (snobby even) and the Merlot and Cabernet were pretty good. Staff was sometimes very stretched with crowds, and most of the wait staff were always kind and patient.

Happy Hour is an Awesome Deal

By Gerry |

Gather is located in the Doubletree, and I rarely eat a hotel restaurant. However, I was exhausted from a very long day of travel from the east coast, so I figured I'd give it a try. I am happy that I did. My timing, fortunately, coincided with the 4P-6P Happy Hour. Local Craft beers on draft were $4/pint, and many menu items were 1/2 their normal price. I had the grilled cheese (gouda & Jack) sandwich on hearty bread with tomato bisque. They were both very good.

Great food!

By Becky D |

Had the burger and it was cooked to order. Service was excellent and the price was inexpensive. Comfortable furnishings and nice ambiance.

Good food, service, and atmosphere

By Nocilantro52 |

We were in meetings near the Lloyd Center and we wanted to find a place to eat. This one came up on the "restaurants near me" list so we decided to try it. First we had a hard time finding it as Google Maps couldn't figure out how to tell us it was inside the hotel! After circling the block and going back to where we started, we finally found it. And I'm glad we did. At first glance at the menu, we were shocked as everything was quite expensive. But we were there so we decided to order something that sounded good. When the plates came out, the portions were enormous! Definitely enough to take home for dinner or lunch the next day. It was well presented and very tasty. I had Steak & Bleu, and they substituted cheddar for bleu cheese which was nice of them. My friend had the turkey club and it was huge! The server was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. It's not someplace you eat every day, but for a special event or "once in awhile" it would be good.

Food and hotel

If you want an adult beverage. Your way, ask for Bert. The hotel is clean, and all folks here are super nice. This is my second stay and I am more than happy with my Choice!

Better than anticipated

By BoiseNorthender |

Our concern about eating in a hotel bar/restaurant was gone after we started our meal. Had soup and sandwiches and both were very good. Had tomato basil and squash soups (5 star on the squash). The turkey sandwich had lots of meat and avocados. Small wine list but adequate and beers on tap. Servers were busy and took the time to answer Our questions. Eat at the bar or tables. $$

Best Turkey Club, ever! Soup great, too.

By acwooly |

Waiting in this very very nice hotel (Doubletree by Convention Center) for my wife to finish up at a conference, I decided to have a late lunch. I started with a cauliflower bleu cheese soup.. An 11 on a 1-10 scale. This was accompanied by a turkey club with bacon avocado lettuce cheese and what all on a multi-seed roll. The turkey was stacked incredibly high and the taste was fresh with complementary textures and flavor so... Another 11. Who would expect this at a hotel lobby bar & restaurant? What a fortunate accident. Maybe they should call it serendipity? Did I mention it was very reasonably priced, in fact, an outstanding value.

Busy bar scene

By TaffyBurns |

Moderately expensive drinks but attentive staff serving lots of people at once. Great place to meet people as it is central to the lobby.

Great service and great food

By Critiqueness |

Michelle was our waitress and she was very accommodating for improvising menu entrees for dietary options. Food was plentiful, attractive and very delicious. Clean, inviting restaurant/bar area. Located inside the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel.

Pleasant surprise for hotel bar food

By Treena G |

Local ingredients, interesting menu and very accommodating of gluten free needs. Even had gluten free crab fritters and GF grilled cheese. Bar staff helpful with advice on good spots to dibe out. Cocktail menu worth exploring. When you are too exhausted to leave the hotel this bar will do you well.

good food nice vareity

By bpbeth |

Very friendly, convenient, yummy interesting selections, roasted beet salad, the grilled chees was terrific (several cheeses) on multigrain bread, nice drink/wine selection for a hotel restaurant.

Wonderful experience at the Double tree by Hilton restaurant

By ugoniee |

If you follow us, you'll recall my wife has food allergies. the staff and manager at the restaurant went all out to satisfy my wifes needs. Both my & my wifes meals were OUTSTANDING! the 1st part of our meal it was very noisey but after one group left it was very pleasant

Okay for a hotel restaurant

By welovenokids |

While staying at the DoubleTree, ended up eating here twice....normally not my first preference while traveling when there are so many local restaurants around. The first time was due to arriving quite late and not having eaten while traveling - not much else was open and this was convenient. The burger and fries were pretty good, and I was impressed with how fast the service was for how busy it was on a Saturday night when they obviously had some big conference going on at the hotel. The second time was my last night at the hotel, and after getting back to the hotel, realized I was too tired to venture out again. Had their daily soup (butternut squash) and scallop appetizer. Both were decent, nothing out of this world, and while the scallops were huge I was glad my work covered to bill as I felt both were considerably overpriced. But, balance that with the convenience of being able to head upstairs to my room immediately, and there are worse things. Overall not a bad place to grab some food if staying at the hotel, but I'd rather try nearby local restaurants.

HUGE and Delicious Portions! Beautiful Hotel! Friendly Service!

By ChicagoMike97 |

I live in Downtown Portland, and the Doubletree hotel, where this restaurant is located, is just across the river. I decided to try something different for lunch. Thus, I went to the Doubletree to eat. The Multnomah Grill was closed for lunch, but Gather Food and Drink was open. I seated myself (make sure you seat yourself; there is no host to seat you), and was welcomed by an extremely friendly waitress, who has performed 25 years of service at the hotel. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. It was absolutely giant, but comfortably delicious. The fries seemed hand-cut, and were tasty as well. I was very pleasantly surprised at the service and food here. I will return in the near future.

Terrible Service

By tracy b |

Not a very welcoming restaurant by any means. No host/ess to greet you. The bar seating is limited, so I sat at a table. No one even noticed I was there. Waited a while until a seat at bar became available. Then had to sit at bar, being ignored by the staff, as they were too busy talking to each other! Finally a bartender asked me, "What do you want". Asked for a for a glass of Merlot wine, he couldn't even tell me their selection. Bartender then turned around to the back bar to fumble for a wine list, handed me the menu and said "the 4 selections on top of list were their Merlots, They weren't!!! The first 4 were Cabernets! Anyway, I made my selection of Merlot, then had to watch the bartender search the whole back bar for the wine I ordered!! The Menu is very limited and overpriced compared to nearby restaurants. Before I left, I asked where the main dining room is, his reply was, "This is it". NO table cloths, silverware, candles. It looked like an upscale fast food restaurant, no booths, absolutely no atmosphere what so ever!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN, THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

A pleasant surprise

By Joan M |

The two meals I had here were very good - a hearty steak dinner one night and the burger and fries another night. It's a hotel restaurant/bar with a casual atmosphere. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

YUM!!!

By SusanO1952 |

We were staying at the hotel and for convenience we stopped in for lunch...and glad we did. We got the Crab Mac and Cheese and it was delicious. At the suggestion of our server, Kip, we only ordered one serving and that was more than enough for the two of us. The house wine was okay...the martini i ordered was made perfectly!!! It was a great place to eat and i recommend it.

Average food, but convenient

By RoamingTheGlobe |

I was staying in this hotel for an event and ate here one night. There are few vegetarian options and not sure if any are vegan. I had the dip trio with pita and veggies and the tomato bisque. Very salty and nothing special. My partner dined here several other times and had mixed experiences. Convenient for dinner in the hotel, but there are many great restaurants in Portland that offer better food at better prices.

Go at happy hour

By Opossums5 |

The food was okay, and the menu limited, but I guess it is mostly a bar. Service was a bit snooty. We had a sandwich and fish and chips for lunch and they were ok. The salad that came with the sandwich was tasty. I think every thing is $12 or $14. The bar snacks at happy hour are half price, which is when you can actually afford them, and everything we tried was yummy, especially the calamari. When a waitress brought us someone else's drinks, she argued with us and huffed off. She did bring the right drinks promptly. There's a peaceful little gas fireplace with sofas that we enjoyed, and you can use the wi-fi to catch up.

Good place to eat

By sudsburg |

Fries are oversalted, Burger was so small. high price due to hotel. Limited Menu with limited choices

HORRIBLE

By winegirlSanFrancisco |

Bartenders good, alcohol good, food awful. Avoid. Go to Stanfords at the mall across the street. While not a great culinary experience, it is so much more edible than anyplace here at the Doubletree....I believe I will be forever scarred from eating here....

always good

By Lchris |

I eat here all the time, even when I'm not staying at the hotel. Great service, fresh food, excellent quality.

Divine cheese sandwich and tomato bisque

By ChefGeorge1 |

I went there several times because the room service and food in other venues was so bad in the hotel. Order the cheese sandwich and tomato bisque--it was awesome! The bbq was in a sweet orange sauce that was messy, but delicious Destiny was a very perky bar tender!

Great selection and service

By Jacqui W |

More than expected offered especially using local ingredients. Quantities were appropriately sized for travelers and what staff great combination of friendly and fast.

Great service/good food

By Tammie J |

Me and a party of 14 were staying at the Doubletree Hotel. We had reservations at another restaurant in the area but due to a graduation ceremony that went way over time, we missed it and had to cancel. All of us showed up at Gather and were greeted and given a table within minutes without reservations. Nice! All the orders went in and all came out about the same time. kudos to the chef. Out of all the meals, there were only 3 dishes that were a little disappointing. The crab cake sliders were one. No crab visible and no crab flavor, just stuffing on a bun. Tomato soup was not hot enough. The seafood pasta was 50/50. Pasta and sauce was delish but the seafood was rather flavorless and rubbery. But, considering everyone else enjoyed their meal and the enormity of the order, I thought it was a wonderful place and would recommend it without hesitation. The club sandwich was huge and a hit!

Confused wait staff and underwhelming food.

By SavvyFamilyTraveler |

Sat at a table for nearly 15 minutes before someone came to ask me if I wanted to order a drink. The person seemed confused that I was looking for food too...still not sure what that was about! Ordered a glass of wine, which turned out to be a rather skimpy serving when it arrived. I then ordered a burger and fries. Then I sat. And sat. And sat. I actually lost track of time, but it was more than a half hour before the food arrived. During that time I was not asked if I wanted another drink, or given any idea how much longer it would be before the food arrived. I believe this was because the man working in the bar was busy fighting with his "not so significant" other on his cell phone. After the long wait, it was sad to realize that the food was just okay. Last visit.

Limited options

By sami D |

Stopped by during stay at doubletree. Was very busy and understaffed given the amount of clients. Open seating but some tables were reserved. Decided to place order to go at the bar. The bar tender was snide and slightly surly. Food over priced and subpar service. Dont recommend if youre in a hurry.

It's ok for a hotel

By john b |

We were somewhat disappointed in the food quality here for dinner. Convenient because of in hotel location but probably would not eat here again.

Nice Lunch at this Bistro and Bar

By col2or |

Had time for lunch, but wanted better than a sandwich from a chain. Gather Food & Drink is located in the main lobby of the Doubletree adjacent to the Lloyd Center mall. Ambience was very nice, but a bit noisy from the lobby. Food was very good, although pricey for lunch. Interesting menu with something for everyone. Service was outstanding. I had a Tandoori Chicken Salad and my biz partner had a sandwich, both were well prepared with no crumbs left on the plate. Definitely would eat here again.

Popular happy hour with gourmet food choices

By christineess |

Gather was a good hotel restaurant offering a happy hour that was very popular with discounted prices on their gourmet foods, appetizers and salads. Great service too.

Excellent Service

By Dominique |

I wish I remembered our server's name because he was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as well.

Excellent Selection for Lobby Restuarant

By Dan |

In the lobby of the Doubletree Lloyd Center in Portland Oregon, there is a place to " Gather for food & drinks " The environment is warm and welcoming and the staff are excellent. In the last 3 months I have booked the private dining room in the back of the restaurant for parties of 14-18. Service was fast and presentation was very good. The menu had a very good selection and also our vegetarian friends enjoyed their options. The grilled ribeye steak was amazing as was the calamari. Definitely a recommendation to try out even if you are not staying there.

Perfect For A Lite Dinner and Drinks

By Bill M |

The Gather is located in the lobby of the Hilton Double Tree and has excellent service. There is adequate seating for a number of visitors as well as bar seating. The bar is well stocked with a number of special drinks offered. Food is far above bar food standards. The salads are excellent and include a chef, a steak, and a salmon salad. Main courses range from simple fish and chips to a ribeye. All of the servers work together to make sure the service is well done. The drinks and food are a bit on the high-cost side but in line with what is available in the area.

Friendly Bartenders

By David G |

We twice stopped in for a nightcap before heading up to our room for the evening. The bartenders are very friendly, and the bar has a great selection of local beers on tap. Highly recommend!

Good service, better than average food

By Chaunie L |

Ate here two times. The food is on the greasy side, but good. The best hot buttered rum I have ever had!

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT

By Dennis W |

This is the restaurant/bar in the Doubletree Hotel, Portland, Oregon. Durning a six day stay in the hotel we enjoyed several snacks and lite dinners including the caprese salad, the Caesar salad, the chopped salad, and the unusually excellent tomato bisque soup. The food is exceptional and the service consistentl perfect. Eating here was one the best part of our stay.

fantastic food

By jaxtravelz |

Try the grilled cheese! Sweet potato tots. Easy and quick, good prices and friendly staff. Desserts are top drawer as well. It's easy to take your time and relax, if you have the time.

Expensive...

By blt2015 |

We stayed at the Doubletree Hilton hotel and ate here twice. Service was fine, despite being crowded. However, we thought the menu was limited, and the food somewhat mediocre and very expensive. Found other more reasonably priced places to eat in the surrounding neighborhood, as we were in town for a week.

Judy Judy Judy

By Tom W |

The food in this hotel bar and restaurant is good by hotel standards, but what really makes it worth a visit is their star bartender (days only). Her name is Judy and my mother would ordinarily beat me senseless for telling a woman's age, but Judy proudly tells everyone she's 70. She is absolutely the sharpest bartender I have ever met. Remembers your name, what you drink, what you had on your agenda for the day from what you told her yesterday. Go in and say hi... order a drink and get to know the most positive and optimistic soul on the planet. Joel is pretty good too! :-) and so is Gary, the manager, but Judy makes this a great place to grab a drink. Oh yeah and that flourless chocolate cake is pretty sweet too!

Surprising find in a hotel

By Maki |

Normally when I think of restaurants within the hotels, I think of food quality likened to those I’ve had at an assisted living facility for seniors. The kind of dishes where vegetables are mushy from being over cooked, and main courses that are bland and unappetizing. This was certainly not the case however, at the Gather Food & Drink restaurant, located in the lobby of Doubletree Hilton in Portland. The menu contains fresh, sustainable Northwest fares from Portland. This restaurant offers small plates, bar menu, happy hour, and full course meals. There was even an on-site mixologist who concocted unique liquor fusions at the bar. Here are some of the dishes I’ve tried and loved: • Brown Rice Bowl (Tamari roasted soy curls, brown rice, sautéed vegetables, kale, avocado dressing) • Wild Mushroom Flat Bread (sautéed wild mushrooms, roasted garlic, goat cheese, basil, pecorino romano) • Burger (St Helens beef, aged cheddar, ailoli, applewood bacon on ciabatta bread, ale battered fries) • Dungeness Crab Salad (grapefruit, radish, golden beets, lemon oil, micro cilantro, meyer lemon créme fraiche) • Hanger Steak (lightly smoked, creamed rapini, carrot puree, beef jus, fried shoestring potatoes). • Dessert try the Sorbet: Marionberry Pinot Gris flavor If your business travels takes into Portland, this restaurant is a great place to stop by for a wonderful food at an affordable price (recommend catching the bar menu/happy hour for best discounted price).

Unexpected pleasure!

By Traveldoc524 |

I have eaten here a few times in the past couple of months, both alone and with my daughter. The menu is concise, highlighting local seasonal ingredients. The jalapeno popper grilled cheese sandwich is fantastic! The salmon fish and chips are good, as is the steak quesadilla. The staff is attentive, and can make adjustments to your order, such as salad greens instead of coleslaw, without having to get permission from someone. I am surprised that the locals haven't claimed this place for their own! Especially since it is across the street from Lloyd Center! But it is mostly Doubletree hotel guests, so tables are plenty and the ambiance is pleasant and quiet.

Gather somewhere else…..

By Robert D |

Stopped in for a late nite meal at our hotel. Honestly it is hard to enjoy eating when you are subjected to Arctic drafts. The lobby has been ice cold and every time the lobby doors open, it gets that much colder. If the hotel can't afford to heat the lobby, then they should down. I had the fish tacos, which were pretty poor. The batter on the fish was soggy and the fish was undercooked. The tortillas were overdone and crumbly. I wish I could have been more positive, but the lack of temperature control made the whole experience unpleasant.

Good Lunch

By KiteGirl78 |

This restaurant was good for lunch. Service was friendly and fairly quick. I enjoyed the steak & blue salad.

Great Appetizers!

By Dale S |

Being a HiltonHHonors Gold, I received a voucher for a free appetizer and beverage. The hummus duo was excellent. Good flat bread offering, and two yummy hummus offerings. You can't go wrong!

So-so Happy Hour!

By Pdxgirl2015 |

Drinks and food are a bit high priced for this setting which is right out of the 80's. We had the loaded fries which had plenty of cheese but seriously not crisp pork belly. The pet to grilled cheese was on plain white bread that wasn't grilled but toasted - dry! The tomato bisque was okay. The Caesar salad was the highlight but not very big.

Great Hotel Bar

By HighFlyerNJ |

Gather Food and Drink is a great place to grab a bite to eat or grab a few beers. They have a good variety of beers on tap and a sampler menu if you'd like to try all of their offerings.

Overpriced for the quality

By velda57 |

Because it was late, and we were tired, we ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was of poor quality and tasteless. The wine was good, but it seemed overpriced.

Don't bother!

By Bruce P |

We were here for a convention. We got dumped in a back room and forgotten. Took 1-½ hours for a pair of EXPEVSIVE sandwiches (this is the Hilton). The couple sitting next to us had to leave without food at all, to make a bus trip. We missed a session to get our food. The manager type apploogized, but delivered a full-price bill.

waitress was sweet

By Leslie C |

A very personable waitress. I told her that my daughter was busy and she made me feel comfortable being a solo customer. I liked that you could get small plates of different foods.

Surprised

By Granola01 |

Our waiter was kind. We both tried the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. The bisque was so fresh! The tomatoes were delicious. I have never thought of my and mustard on my grilled cheese, both my hubby and I were pleasantly surprised. My only complaint was that they could of used just a little less of each condiment. Otherwise it was delicious and the other patrons dinners looked just as delicious.

Love everything they have!

By Adrienne K |

I ate here every day and there is not a bad thing on the menu. I love the home made tomato bisque and their mixed green salad. Their french fries are the best I have ever had. Great atmosphere!

Great service with a smile. Good Happy Hour.

By SEATACTravelers |

Great bartenders and staff. Good food for a hotel. I wouldn’t come here if I wasn’t staying at the hotel…but! the staff make this place great. The food is a bit limited, but tasty, especially for a bar in the hotel lobby!
