10 of 94 Bars & Pubs in Las Vegas

If you love hidden speakeasy-type bars, you'll love Ghost Donkey. I totally missed this during my prior visits to Cosmo!! It is buried deep in the back of the 2nd floor food court area, and is only recognizable by the donkey emblem on a green door. Inside, great tequila and mezcal in a small bar environment. Cool lighting makes this fun, too. Oh, it has snacks too.

Really enjoyed this small speakeasy, intimate and cool vibe, bar staff was very friendly and attentive.

My wife and I love hidden bars and knew about this one before coming to Vegas. On one evening there was a massive queue to go in so we didn't bother but the next day, we were lucky and went straight in. It is a very small bar that accepts only 27 people. We did not try the food but the drinks we had were superb. We love margaritas, tequila and mezcal so the perfect little spot for us.

The idea of finding this hidden bar and recommendations for the drinks brought us in, but the horrible service will keep us from coming back. The mezcal cocktails were, indeed, unique and flavorful once we got them, but watching the servers have their own little party while ignoring customers was just too frustrating.

This place is a really fun find...but only if you like tequila and/or nachos. That's literally all they have on the menu. We found the restaurant on Yelp, but finding the actual physical restaurant was another story. We didn't realize it was a "secret". It's sort of like a Mexican speakeasy. It's tiny inside but it's worth it. The vibe is SO COOL! The chorizo nachos were our favorite, the chicken mole nachos and steak nachos were delicious too. I'm not a drinker but the rest of the group raved about the cocktails. Definitely try it!!

We went here for drinks before dinner because we love mezcal and tequila and were not disappointed! The drinks were delicious and there were a lot of creative recipes! I don’t think we have seen so many mezcal options on one menu. Service was good too!!

We love Mezcal , so to go to a mezcal speakeasy was super fun! The bartenders were great..I think Kelly was the name of our favorite. Go to the Ghost Donkey .

My wife and I have been trying to get to this place for 2 years and we're so happy we finally did. We went after dinner for a couple drinks and it was a really cool little experience. If you're you are staying at the Cosmo, you have got to hit this place.

It was standing room only when we visited- and well worth wait! The creative cocktails were superb. The two staff worked their butts off! Really enjoyed our visit!!

We wanted to hunt for this much talked about hidden gem within the Cosmo and food court.. it has an easily door logo.., nothing else… inside, w a ppl limit of 27, not 30, not 25.. lololll.. anyway.. tiny, quaint, fun little joint to hang and chill…great decor. Go find it!!!!bonus pic outside cosmo in between Vdara for the lucky bunny horse statue!:)

It was a cool little bar and the drinks were really interesting and delicious. It is a very small area with about 20 seats or so but really fun and a good vibe.

Once you find it and settle in with your drink choice, get the nachos. Any of them are amazing. Truffle nachos are the hidden gem worth getting every time. Good luck getting a seat at night: it’s small and fills up fast. Recommend getting there early in the evening to get a decent seat.

This place is fun if you like tequila, nachos, etc. Bar is tiny inside but it's worth it. Good snacks and good cocktails, chicken mole nachos and steak nachos were very good. Really cool place and worth checking out.

If you read through the reviews plenty of people tell you how to find this little gem. It is worth seeking out. Once you enter the tiny bar, you no longer feel like you are in Vegas. A bit noisy but very cozy. Drink are primarily tequila and mezcal. There is limited food which we did not have but looked very tasty. Drink are pricey as you can imagine in Vegas but definitely worth asking every employee how to find the place.

If it's a secret, I want in. If it's mezcal, I want in. If it's a cocktail, likely I want in. Combine all three of these and add in a ghost donkey surveying the whole scene, then, oh man, I've arrived where I want to be. I've been lucky enough to find/wander into a few of the "secret" speakeasies in Vegas...this one was only secret in that the entrance was tucked away in the back of the small food court area in the Cosmopolitan...but otherwise there was no gatekeeper or password...you just open the door and you're in. (it's also possible I was there at a lucky time when it was mostly full but not so busy that I needed to wait to find a seat or order.) The atmosphere is cool. I sat near the ghost donkey which is almost all I've ever needed out of any experience. I'm a fan of Mezcal and also of bourbon-based drinks like a Manhattan...so the mezcal-based "Smoked Corn and Coconut Manhattan" seemed like it would be a dream. And it kind of was. Perfectly mixed...familiar flavors but really unlike anything I've had before. I really liked it. My big plan was to head off to another resort to try a NYC slice but my server clued me into another secret of the Cosmopolitan, Secret Pizza, which was about a two-minute walk from Ghost Donkey. So basically what I'm saying is I'm moving to the Cosmopolitan to live there forever, drinking in Ghost Donkey and eating Secret Pizza. This was a really fun place to be and drink and helped round out a really fun night in Vegas.

You didn’t know you wanted to go to the Ghost Donkey until you get there. Looking for another bar on level 2 of the Cosmopolitan Hotel is the place to be now try and find it. While looking for a different bar I asked the concierge where the Ghost Donkey was and he laughed and laughed and laughed and provided minimal directions to the watering hole. Guess what couldn’t find it. Then across from the food court is a sit down restaurant where I asked the hostess for more help. She chuckled and told us to look close in the food court. So there actually is a payoff, disguised under the exit sign is a small white donkey. We found it. I did not include a picture to the entrance cause finding it is half the fun. The other half of the fun is the wonderful Mezcal drinks they serve backed by eclectic music and a cool vibe for everyone that finds the magic door. You won’t be disappointed especially if you come to it by accident. What a great surprise!! A great place to chill out and enjoy tequila and mezcal options you won’t find any where else. Happy hunting.

A smaller outpost of the East Village Mezcal bar and has a similar feel to the mothership (small bar, great service, creative bar snacks) just with a narrower selection. Noisy and fun! Cleverly hidden behind an exit door directly through hattie B's!!

It is great adventure bar. A must visit. Good Luck We enjoyed the atmosphere and only 27 person capacity Just an awesome time

Arrived just as it was opening on a Saturday afternoon. The place filled up very quickly. It is very small with only 8 bar stools and a few tables. Great tequila based drinks. Bartender knew her stuff and had great recommendations. Try the pistolero!

We came here for a little hole in the wall place in the cosmopolitan. Just try something different. That describes this place exactly, just a little different. Cool vibes, friendly bartenders, unusual cocktails that's unique, yeah that's the word.

If you are staying in the Cosmo, or just looking for a place to get some drinks and good appetizers before going out, then Ghost Donkey is wonderful. It is a VERY small hidden bar in the back of the food court area (behind hattie bs) in the cosmo. Just look for the door that has a donkey on it and looks like a service entrance/exit. We had the truffle nachos and margaritas, and it was the perfect start to our night. Do NOT go in with a ton of people and expect there to be seats. There are literally two sides with booth like seating and a couple chairs. I would say the max number of people that could even fit in the entire bar is 40 - maybe 50 and that would be pushing it.

We saw this place on Tik Tok and wanted to stop for a drink. Was so excited to find it hidden in the back of the food court, but everyone else knows about it now. SO incredibly small, it literally fits 27 people and there is no where extra to stand or sit. We couldn't even order a drink and had to leave.

They were out of the truffle nachos but the mushroom nachos are a fair competitor. Though the title says margaritas the drinks they serve here are much more thoughtful than margaritas (don't get me wrong I love Margaritas). Service is excellent. It is. small out of the way place that looks like you are exiting the area. Seek it out!

We were searching for hidden fun places to go and had heard about this online. You find the door with a donkey on it under a sign that says "Exit" in the food court area. Great small place. There are about 8 seats at the bar and about 6 small seating areas. We were lucky to find an open seat and got good service from one of the two bartenders right away. They have tequila and mezcal for sipping as well as several drink specialties. Beer is on tap. There is a small menu (we had steak nachos). Great atmosphere with upbeat Latin music playing and lots of flashing lights.

Ghost Donkey is a small mezcal bar located in the Block 16 Food Hall at the Cosmopolitan. It's not easy to find with no signage - just a donkey on the door. Once inside, the place has great music - excellent cocktails on some really good nacho recipes. The food is all small plate and mezcal is really what they are good at slinging. Cool, hip crowd. Opens at 4PM daily.

This was our first visit to the Ghost Donkey and what a disappointment from the very beginning! They have a sign on the door saying they open at 4 pm and we got there about 5 mins before so we waited outside. One of the employees came out and was really rude and said "we aren't open until 4". We knew that as that was why we were waiting to go inside. When 4 pm rolled around and we finally went inside the same employee yelled "we still aren't open". Nothing was going on and the 2 employees were laughing and clearly having a personal conversation but we went back outside to wait more. About 10 mins later they finally "opened". We go in and the place is cool to look at but VERY small inside. There were 4 of us and we each ordered a different drink off the menu; however, the drinks all tasted exactly the same and were undrinkable! Literally could not drink them as they tasted like chemicals. The employee that was rude to us from the start was the bartender and continued being rude to us the whole time and we were the only ones in there for the first 15 mins. We wasted $80 on drinks as they were disgusting and just left to go get a good drink elsewhere. We will never go back and would never recommend this place to our worst enemy. The employees need to learn customer service as well as how to make drinks properly. Just a horrible experience.

Not convinced... So nice venue, interesting cocktail menu. But as someone who is into good cocktails, Mexcal and Tequila- there was a very uninterested staff-which frankly if I am paying $18.00 per cocktail, I want friendly information and at least some kind of hospitality... Ok, it’s the new kid in town - and Auckland gets off on that kind of thing... But your mushroom Margarita sucked big time, taste and looks wise. Perhaps drop the w@nk aspect- and you have a cool destination with longevity on your hands. I’ll come back in a while .

Secret door in the middle of the food court. Fun, delicious cocktails (tequila and mezcal only), great service and not a whiff of pretension.

It took us a while to find Ghost Donkey and it didn’t disappoint. We visited at 9.30pm one evening and the bar was full so we came back earlier the next evening and got a seat. The cosy and kitsch ambiance makes this place feel special and we enjoyed the cocktail menu. So good we don’t want the secret to get out for our next trip back to Vegas!

Ghost Donkey is easy to find, if you know where to look. *Wink* We had a great time grabbing tequila/mezcal based drinks at this hidden gem. I'm not going to disclose where exactly it's located inside the Cosmopolitan because the fun part is finding it yourself. The service was great even though the space was packed like sardines in a tin. Yes, this bar is super tiny, but still felt comfortable and the vibes were definitely popping. We each ordered a mezcal old fashioned & a La Paloma (pretty standard cocktails, nothing fancy). They were both great. I would definitely recommend this place (if you can find it). This is going on "must go every time I'm in Vegas" list.

This is a cool little bar inside the block 16 food court inside the Cosmopolitan. Behind a secret door with a donkey sticker on it you'll find this cozy little hangout. They serve nachos, which we did not eat, but we did enjoy 2 of their delicious cocktails. It is a fun atmosphere with lots of colorful lights and donkey decor. Would recommend trying to find this spot for a drink or 2!

The best part of the experience was the hunt to find it. We opened the door and it was so tiny & packed inside. We arrived at approx 6pm. The max occupancy sign by the door said 27, and there were definitely more than 27 people in there. Cool concept, but a fail. The Chandelier is a much better option for vibe and experience.

Stopped in for some tequila shots after taking in a show at the Cosmo. Had a hard time finding it as it's a speakeasy style joint. It's a small place that fills up quick in the evenings on weekends. The decor is fun, staff is friendly and drinks are great! Typical Vegas prices. Didn't try the nachos but they looked delicious.

Inexperienced friends and travelers may never find this place. But those in the know, recognize where it is located. One of the better speakeasy type places, in my opinion, but that is probably because I am more inclined to like a tequila / mezcal cocktail. I have been many times and I always forget that they have food. It always looks amazing. The drinks are very good. There tends to be lots of lookie loos because people know it is there, open the door, peek in, and then think it is a private party or something to that effect. Seating is limited, so I have always stood. But everyone enjoyed their drink and the vibe.

This is such a cool little bar. I love the fact it’s hidden away and love seeing people’s faces as you walk through a door they didn’t know existed! The drinks are standard Vegas prices so you’re looking at a minimum of around $13 a cocktail- but they are good! There is limited seating but the bar staff are pretty friendly if you end up sitting at the bar.

My husband and I visited Ghost Donkey twice on our last trip to Vegas and since the reopening post covid. We were in love with this little secret gem from the first time it opened up in 2019. The drinks are phenomenal! On our first visit in 2019 we met Julio, the bartender and it was amazing watching him work mixing those drinks that were so very good. Then with the reopening this year we went back and were looking forward to seeing him again and having those drinks but as it turns out that was his day off and that’s when we met Eva. Not only were those drinks by Eva amazing I don’t think I could choose a favorite if I had to! I must say these two are truly top notch mixologist and have their craft mastered down to a tee. I am so glad we went back the second day and to our surprise both of them we’re working! Not only were the drinks awesome but watching the two of them working in tandem was a true treat. They were both so knowledgeable about the type of tequilas that the bar had to offer they truly know the product of Mezcal and know how to use it. Other tequila bars will just tell you Mezcal is “smoky tequila” and that’s it here’s your drink. If you should have the opportunity to visit Ghost Donkey at the Cosmopolitan I hope these two are working there when you go, you would be the lucky to have them tag team and make you awesome drinks that taste amazing and look so pretty. Don’t be fooled into thinking there’s no alcohol in them and that they are just tasty flashy drinks because they much more than that. They are an amazing work of art that they’ve prepared for you that not only look and taste great but have the perfect amount of tequila that is not too strong, but strong enough!

They only serve Mezcal and Tequila in this hidden little gem of a "dive" bar in the Cosmopolitan. They serve about 5 different nacho dishes and all seem really good but the truffle nachos were a hit. Opens around 4 or 4:30pm and very limited seating due to small space. Music is great. Try it if you can find it!

During my Vegas trip, my friend and I wanted to try as many ‘speak easy’ bars as we could. This was one of the first we visited and I was impressed. It’s kind of small inside but I feel it works well as it is basically a pass through bar in a fashion. Prices are a little high but you pay for the uniqueness of the bar. It has actually made me appreciate tequila a lot more than I expected and the cocktails are excellent. There are some snacks available too and the whole experience is really fun. Definitely recommend.

They serve nachos as light eats. Look for the donkey on the door in the Block 16 area. That’s the only sign.

Me and a buddy went while on vacation. They had super interesting cocktails made with Tequila, they were awesome!! We tried a couple, they were all so good! Can’t wait to visit again the next time in Vegas. Our bartender was delightful and very informative!

First and foremost, you are going to need to ask someone in the Cosmopolitan to be able to find this place. It is located through a door only marked with a Donkey and Exit sign. What you walk into is tequila paradise! Julio or any of the unbelievable staff there will help you find a tequila to your liking. The place is small and is the type of bar that you see on TV and say, “why can’t we find a place like that”. I debated even writing about it because I did not want to give it away. We did not try the food, but will next time. A must stop if your a lover of the agave.

I was really excited to come here. I was staying at the Cosmopolitan, and one of the first things I did was find the donkey on the door, lol. If you've looked on Yelp, you probably know where it is already. It's right behind Hattie B's. Part of how it is hidden so well is because it's really almost the size of a janitor's closet. I had read how small it was, but I was surprised to see it in real life. It is really cute inside, with lights that hang from the ceiling, but it is basically a bar, and two U shaped sitting areas. The first time I went in, it was packed. There were people on every bar stool and the sitting areas were full, so I turned around and left. That was around dinner time on a Thursday. I came back later that night, and it had cleared out. I got a seat at the bar, and there was only one other couple at the bar with me. It's definitely all about timing here. If it's really busy, I recommend you do what I did and come back later. The bartender was very friendly and asked me what I wanted. I had seen pictures online already, and I knew I wanted the Mezcal Supernova. He made it in front of me, and he made the swirly thing on top while I could see. It was definitely pretty, and I took several pics of it before I drank it. Pretty drinks are like my trademark. :) While it was really pretty, I have to say, I didn't like it. I don't like all types of tequila, and I actually usually prefer cheap ones to Cuervo or other names like that. There is a certain taste in them that I don't like, and the tequila in this drink had that taste. However, ,for almost $20, I finished that drink for sure! It wasn't bad. It just wasn't anything I'd get again, and I didn't want to try anymore drinks after tasting that one. I also wanted to try the truffle nachos that I read so much about, but I've actually never had a truffle, and they don't look like I'd like them. For $23, I decided not to chance that either, and I just had my drink and left. It was very cute inside, and with a limited food menu, I don't think people tend to stay too long. If I came back again, I'd try another drink just to go there again.

Took a while to find this place and had to ask a couple of staff people but glad we finally found. Had a great time here. Sat at the bar and was able to chit-chat with so many people and the bartenders were fun and loved the conversation as well. Had a great old fashioned drink here and loved that it was hidden.

The team who run this bar are fantastic, they make the best tequila and mescal based drinks, plus serve delicious nachos. Its small, be prepared to stand but its worth it

Stopped in here after the Chandelier Bar after a reco from a local. Great ambiance and drinks, very small but I LOVE a good secret bar! Service was phenomenal and I would 100% return and bring friends. I'd be careful going with larger groups as it is so tiny.

A hidden speakeasy in the Cosmo, we sought this out as the fun experience that it was. However, this place is VERY small. The night we went there, there were clearly more than the stated capacity in that tiny room, and I had to leave after a little bit to get some air outside. If you love tequila or mezcal, and aren't claustrophobic, this will be your place. Sadly, I don't meet either of those criteria, so I don't see a return trip in my future.

We were staying at Aria and I’ve always wanted to show wife there as architecture great. We joined players club and spun wheels to get prize. We got chips and Guacamole W two drink purchase at Ghost donkey. Apparently this is a satellite bar speakeasy original is in East Village New York. The father this place is how art is it to fight we are set by security people and people choose where it was they laughed and said go to the district, apparently that’s a food hall we found it behind the hot check it just a black door with the donkey on it. We were just surprised they had died by wife has trouble walking with arthritis and I rent a wheelchair we got it there of shocked how small the place was there’s cute little lights all over the place . Techno Cumbria Latin music . We found a seat and low coffee table . Other couple waiting and not happy . I had to go to car to get service. Small bar menu tequilas and basketball pants up beers I got two coronas and bust through nachos it was actually very good. $38:00 w my discount. We made a complete Facebook to the Cosmo how rude the service was so it will might try it again we got a $25 food and beverage credit the gaming situation add a Cosmo is fun quick drink service that’s another story.

Excellent place, not too noisy and small. They have many types of tequila and mezcal, and they make great cocktails out of them. I highly recommend it.

The place is exceptionally small. Although I tried a mezcal cocktail, it was merely average, and I've enjoyed much better ones elsewhere. The music seemed subpar. Overall, it didn't live up to the hype.

Very cool little speak easy in the Cosmopolitan. Look for it on the second floor in the food court. It can be difficult to find; that's part of the charm. I HIGHLY recommend the mezcal old fashion. The head bartender and servers are prompt, serving up excellent cocktails. I've been there twice. There are no TVs so that makes folks happy to chat and have conversations. Great place to mix in a fun spot.

I waited some time to meet him, and when I arrived the place is very very small and without opportunity to even stay for a drink. Very poorly ventilated and as a result smelled a lot. Not my kind of place!!!

Passed by here for a drink on a Tuesday night and was fun. Cool vibe, no over powering music so you can at least talk, drinks were very good and strong. So much so they give you small bottles of water for free. They offer food but we did not try any. The place is small and I wouldn’t spend all night in this place but a great cool place for 1-2 drinks while you make your way to your next destination. I would suggest to give it a try.

Small friendly bar with great drinks and snacks. Enjoyed talking to the bartenders and other customers.

This place is an intimate fun mezcal bar in an otherwise super crowded part of the popular Cosmopolitan Hotel. The staff is super friendly and they have an amazing menu of mezcal cocktails and margaritas. It's a little hard to find but that's part of the charm! Look for the donkey marked door near the food stalls :)

Ghost Donkey is hands down one of the most fun hidden gems in Vegas! Tucked away where no one would think to look, finding it feels like a mini adventure—and trust me, it’s worth it. The space is small but packed with personality, from vibrant donkey murals to twinkling lights that give it a cozy, almost secret-club feel. Their mezcal and tequila selection is top-tier, and the Ay Papi cocktail paired with the Truffle Nachos? Absolute perfection. If you’re up for the hunt, head to The Cosmopolitan’s Block 16 Food Hall on the 2nd floor, find the unmarked door, and push it open. Everyone inside will look at you—but don’t worry, you just earned your spot at Ghost Donkey!

My friend is a huge Tequila fan, so we heard about this place and had to find it and check it out. So glad that we did! Great relaxing atmosphere, and stroooong drinks! The truffle Nachos were absurdly delicious. We cannot wait to come back to this place!

So I am not going to tell you where this is because that is half the fun but once you find it you will be pleased. The tequila and mescal are delicious. You must try the nachos, very tasty.

Hard to find! It's at the back of District 16 behind Hattie B's Chicken! SO good! Lovely staff, great drinks and delicious nachos!

Great spot for beer or tequila! Small space so if you have a big group you may not be able to get in. Located on second floor behind food court through an emergency exit disguised however the donkey on the door tells you that you have found the correct spot!

I have several caveats for a great bar. First, it must be on the smaller side with appreciative drinkers. It also must not be too loud or obnoxious. It also helps to have a little kitsch. Finally, the cocktails must warrant my repeat business. Ghost Donkey meets all four requirements. The mezcal old fashioned and mezcal Negroni are excellent. It is a bit tricky to find, and it is small and not loud and obnoxious. It is just a gem of a concept.

Was on a business trip in Vegas and stopped in for drinks. I miss their location in NY! I am so happy I was able to experience Ghost Donkey in Vegas.

Go thru the donkey door! Must get the truffle nachos. Hibiscus margarita is fab and Paloma is refreshing. Found another gem in LV.

Like nothing else on the strip. Small, personnel, and quant. Not easy to find, but worth looking for. Will suggest to all friends who visit

The whole concept of the hidden speakeasy was a lot of fun. We were hanging around the Cosmo on a Thursday afternoon and we wanted to check out the hidden spots. It was great that the Ghost Donkey opens at 4. (I think the barbershop and ski lodge open at 6 pm and that interfered with other plans.) We got there right at 4 pm (and stayed about an hour). The bar is small and fits about 30 folks. It was quite busy when it opened. Quite a few folks walked in, could not find a seat and left. Signature drinks were very good. I love that smoky flavor. I had the Mezcal old fashioned and it was great. The ladies loved the El Espresso. (A great way to fire up for a long night!)

Speakeasy bar inside Cosmo food hall. It’s not really hidden. You’ll see the sign with the hours if you pay attention. Capacity is 27 but there were more people than that. Basically seating for 27 people if you count the bar and two tables. Everyone else just stood around. Dress code is casual. There were people in shorts and flip flops. Be sure to grab a menu book for an extensive list of drinks. We ordered from the list on the wall and didn’t realized they had more options. This bar specializes in Mezcal and tequila. We got: -watermelon basil margarita: loved this but it was made with mezcal and I wasn’t a fan. But my fiancé loved it. -Stealth margarita slushy: this was made with tequila which was to my liking. -Smoked corn & coconut manhattan: this was on the wall and not in the book. We would have ordered a mezcal old fashioned had we saw it but this was in the book and not on the wall. The manhattan was disgusting. The smoked flavor and coconut was like cough syrup. They also serve food. Food menu on the wall is the same as the boom. Very casual vibe. Easy to make friends because the place is so small and everyone is in close together.

This place is dark and small with tight seating. That being said. Yum! We got the steak and bean nachos and the chips and salsa trio and both were delicious! Some of the best nachos I’ve ever had. We got an espresso martini, a Paloma, and a flight of three mezcals- all were really good. The flight came out with four salts and an assortment of citrus and fruit. I would definitely go back. It’s on the second floor in the food court back between Hattie B’s and Lardo’s, if I remember correctly.

set behind an exit sign and non descriptive door but the painted donkey on it indicated you are the right place step inside and its a visual fun place small, cozy, quaint. small food menu but the drinks are what you come for. Craft tequila and mezcal drinks with funky ingredients fun place to grab a drink, then eat in Block 16 urban food hall

Luckily we carried out some researched before we arrived otherwise we would of never found this place. If it helps you, go to the new food court on level 2 I think and look towards the back. You will see an unassuming door with a donkey on it. That's it. When you enter, you get a great cost feeling with all the lights and cute decor. Great drinks and staff were excellent. Luckily we went towards the end if the night so we got a table. I'd definitely recommend this place

Literally almost can't see it. it is in Block 16, food court in the Cosmo and the door way is just a door with a painted donkey on it...Look near the first couple spots...Once you find it, it's a cute tiny bar. Good drinks and great chicken mole nachos

Nipped in to Ghost Donkey for a swift Cocktail. This was our second visit, last time in 2019. Still does great service, and drinks. Only a small room, and be prepared to queue from opening time. First come first served! Expect tequila based cocktails, Mezcal and Margaritas. Nice chilled atmosphere, great place for an afternoon pick me up!

Ghost Donkey is a pretty well hidden bar in The Cosmopolitan. If you need help finding it, there are lots of people who have already posted online how to find it. Vibe is cool, space is tight, drinks are fire (some literally) and mostly tequila-based, food is good. My favorite of the hidden bars we tried.

I can’t add much to the previous reviewers. To be honest, the nachos didn’t take me away to heaven but were pretty good all the same. I was worried about finishing them on my own but a gent with a healthy appetite should have no problems. Hadn’t tried mescal before but the staff were very helpful in recommending a good ‘entry level’ type. You can tell the staff are proud of their setup and rightfully so; I just hope it doesn’t go to their head. Ambience just makes the place.

This is so worth finding! Cool decor, fantastic drinks! It's busy and small but feels like you're in on a secret. I had the Mushroom Margarita, that was the best of our drinks. We also had the Pistolero, Burro Tropical and Stealth Margarita (a bit cucumbery for our taste).

Black truffle nachos , beer and tequila at Cosmos secret Ghost Donkey bar!! Great place for a drink and to hang out. INSPIRED BY THE ALLURING INGREDIENTS & FLAVORS OF MEXICO New York City’s Ghost Donkey: Mezcal & Tequila Bar is a true fiesta experience. Featuring an extensive selection of mezcal, Ghost Donkey serves expertly selected tasting flights alongside specially crafted cocktails made with traditional Mexican spirits and artisanal brands. One of the highlights of the menu, Truffle Nachos, adds a new legend to the lexicon of bar snacks for one of the best bars in Las Vegas.

Ghost Donkey is speakeasy teguila bar hidden in the Block 16 food court of the Cosmopolitan. The ambiance and vibes are super cool inside this small bar. They have a decent selection of specialty craft cocktails all containing either tegula or mezcal. They also have a very well-stocked bar with all sorts of agave spirits. Those are the pros of Ghost Donkey now here is the con: DO NOT order any food here. The chips were cold and stale and since the chips come in every bite they serve (chips and dips, nachos, etc.) skip the food altogether here. Also, for people with allergies stay away from this place. We ordered the queso fundido and the menu listed the ingredients as monterey jack cheese, chorizo, jalapenos, and pablano. When the dish arrived it had cilantro on it. We informed the staff that we had a cilantro allergy and they were quick to fix this for us and we ordered the steak and black bean nachos instead. Well, the nachos came out with cilantro on them and again it wasn't listed on the menu. The first time was an honest mistake but the second time is the bartenders for not caring, not trying, and not taking pride in their work. We paid our tab and left. Go for the vibe and drinks but skip the food here.

If you enjoy tequila and mezcal this is the place to come. They do have other drinks. Service is great! Gets busy so at times have a little patience while they are crafting up drinks!

This was my first visit to Ghost donkey. A Vegas Regular (VR) was excited to share the Ghost Donkey experience with me and my friend. We walk through Cosmopolitan and weave through the 2nd floor shops and through the food court. The VR excitingly says "here we are". It's a single colorful door that looks like an exit with a donkey on it. We open it and we are welcomed by this unique and quaint bar/experience. The bat itself is small and can feel cramped. If you are focused on that then you won't enjoy the experience. But if you focus on the lights, the sounds, the decor, and the mystery of learning what this place is all about then it will be awesome. We ordered three different nachos to try them. I had a mezcal drink that was smoky and tasty. We caught a booth and talked and people watched. I recommend this place for a new and fun experience.
Hidden Tequila/Mezcal Gem
Okay so you are in Block 16 on level 2 of the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas. You just finished a sammie at Lardo and are heading for the ‘exit.’ Through that door may be the coolest 30-seater tequila bar you have ever encountered. Service impeccable. Vibe, cool. Cocktails reimagined with a tequila and mezcal base. Prices range from $15-$18USD. The custom nacho menu is worth admittance alone. Check this out, you will not be disappointed.
